-don’t play with emotions

-Aren’t full of greed and aren’t terrorists and they don’t commit hate crimes

-Judge you whenever they have the opportunity to do so and it makes me absolutely sick

-Try to act arrogant as if they are better than me

-The Earth’s most cruel beings

-Lie and express hatred and contempt towards me and others every chance they get

-My anger issues, emotional wounds and trauma are caused by people especially having been bullied my whole life especially during my school days

-play with my emotions and manipulate me

-Are always focused on themselves and have narcissistic tendencies and think rules shouldn’t apply to them and can’t and won’t admit whenever they are wrong about things

-Have an inflated sense of ego and importance

-commit violence and cruelty to other people and animals when given the chance and I can’t forgive that

-most of my people friends have turned out to be the biggest jerks I have ever met especially one who I have had to keep my distance from because she chose to show her butt and give bad energy

-are emotionally & physically abusive

-most get joy out of hurting others and it makes me sick and it’s sad seeing others suffer

-I have given many people second chances and they blow it everytime so why bother to allow them back into my life after everything they put me through?

-whenever I do find nice people it’s rare

-most are driven by hatred and bad vibes

-They do all of the above therefore I choose animals for life, can’t change my mind on that

So, I know I'm a little (very) late to the AvA stuff, but I was rewatching AvM Season 3 for the seven hundredth time and, well, I noticed something and I'm curious to know if it's been discussed before.

AvM Episode 29, Purple's story, specifically, Pink's death.

Her color changes as she dies, or is represented to have died.

It fades to grey.

Now, the question is, can we, or rather should we, use this to infer anything lore-related? Was this just an artistic choice to depict the act of becoming unhealthy/dying, or could this be what actually happens to stick figures that die over a period of time? Are their colors linked to their health?

Let's have a bit of fun with it, and presume that the fading of one's color can happen to a stick figure for health-related reasons, as the scene could imply.

This fading seems to involve loosing the saturation of one's color into grey. Saturation is how vibrant a color is, and the complete lack of saturation is greyscale.

The World-of-Alan reason for Pink's death is that she 'got sick', which is where the health connection of this theory comes from. If she did loose her color as she was dying as the notes depict, that loss of color was likely a result of her failing health rather than any other factors, like age or outside variables. A whole bunch of human body stuff are indicators for good vs poor health, including skin color (jaundice and cyanasis are good examples) so why not a stick's color for them?

What if, when they fully die, they lose all of their original color?

Now, let me propose this…

Who else do we know of who has had their color loose vibrancy?

What if Victim's color has lightened because he's ill?

The Ryoko Kui interview's reception is such a disaster over a pretty normal (yet still flawed) interview between a non-Japanese fan and Japanese artistic. This is discourse for discourse's sake, and it's no surprise that almost every Twitter user I've looked at who's using this interview to parade Kui around as a goated mangaka standing strong against Western ideology is anti-trans.

Like, I do think the interview was kinda wonky with its focus on fandom culture, which Kui clearly didn't have much interest in. But sometimes that happens. Sometimes interactions between two people, especially a fan and a creator, two people who view and interact with a piece of media in completely opposite perspectives, don't click. Does this really need to get blown up into a "West vs. East culture war" issue.

Anyways, Kui saying "I don't consider my audience's interpretations when writing. I leave it to their imaginations, but I have my own read on things too" is the healthiest, most normal thing an artist/writer who wants a non-parasocial audience could say. Artists and writers use this line all the time. If Kui didn't enjoy autistic Laius or Farcille headcanons, she would have probably voiced/signalled her discomfort, like she did on the topic of Senshi fanservice. Overall, Kui handled the interview really well. Props to her to sticking to her guns and keeping a healthy disconnect from the fandom. While I think the interviewer could've/should've been more tactful and restrained, the flaws in their questions is not a symptom of the woke mind virus trying to wriggle its way into the pure Japanese psyche. It's the sign of an over-eager fan who sees a piece of fiction differently than its creator.
