(On one hand, Enjin is excited to have his own baby. So excited that he can't think about it for longer for a few seconds before his bones start turning to liquid and his gut fills with something so euphoric he's afraid it might cause him to up and float away.

But then on the other hand, part of him dreads it, almost, is annoyed by his excitement for it—not so much the actual having of, caring for a baby part, but the... creating one from nothing part. The... putting another living, breathing being onto this earth, part.

Babies are... no, children are quite a sore subject for him. Everything about them, about his experience as one, are the antithesis of his existence. Reliance on others in and of itself is far from a bad thing, he knows this to be true... but children have no choice in the matter as to who they are surrounded by and who they are helped by, much less whether or not they have to exist in the first place.

Besides, for all intents and purposes, Enjin has children. Grown-up children, children he only partially raised, but a family of the them, nonetheless, who'd choose him as their mentor in this life and the next. Having another, from conception feels selfish, somehow. Unnecessary. Disrespectful.

And he doesn't want to name it. Of it all—your pregnancy, the birth, the whole shebang—naming it definitely feels the worst: slapping on what will one day be an independent person an identity nobody else has the right to choose but them. He went through it, Rudo went through a version it... and he's certain any child of his will, too. It's why he has yet to come to terms with it... and has absolutely zero ideas for a name.)

Okay so… I’m definitely a couple years late to the “party”, but what exactly is the deal with the Decepticons who crashed on Earth being animal related?

They never mentioned being Predacons (cause I assume those are still a future thing) and Maximals are the Autobot adjacent animal-Cybertronian fused bots. I just assumed they were some kind of version of Beastformers, but I never recalled them mentioning anything. Because I feel like that could be at least mentioned in the TFWiki. So am I just left to assume that some Cybertronians are forged with animal attributes and some aren’t, and that the Alchemor was made specifically for the Decepticons who fit into that category?

I know that I might be reading too much into this but come on. Am I just not remembering when Fixit would say “Beastformer” —out loud specifically? Or do they just not say it so we’re left to assume that they’re directly coming from Cybertron? Because there is a planet in Transformers Lore (maybe not specifically Aligned lore but I wouldn’t know) called Jungle Planet, which had many different aliases, that had Transformers that took on animal attributes over time.

Maybe the writers wanted to keep on pushing the Decepticons=bad and Autobots=good agenda a bit further by just making the Cons’ Beastformers to label them as “animals instead of people”. And it’s already bad enough if you look at RiD15 as just Transformer copaganda in general.

I dunno. Five minutes into making this post I literally just went to TfWiki and read about IDW’s Jungle Planet, aka Eukaris, and lightly skimmed its lore and it made some sense. Not complete sense—some sense.

But that still doesn’t excuse why the Alchemor ONLY carried Beatsformers. Or was at least 90% Beastformers, I did see a few Vehicons—BUT MY POINT STILL STANDS! >:[

I honestly have a really good theory imo, but that’s for a separate post, and this one’s getting too long.

Legendary Godzilla is so fucking funny to me because like. You start out with the 2014 movie. Very restrained. Relatively slow pace. Limited godzilla screentime, they really want you to relish every moment he's there, and it delivers. Godzilla is fucking huge, looks and moves like something that size would, looks impressive, you get a good sense of scale. He's minimally personified, just showing occasional moments of pain. Feels like a force of nature. Very cool, thoughtfully designed monsters. Takes itself fairly seriously, with a little bit of humor. Nothing groundbreaking but a pretty solid movie.

Fast forward 10 years later. Godzilla x Kong. Monsters beating the shit out of each other every moment of screentime. There's a freakish Kong baby. Kong has a giant robot fist that can cure severe frostbite. Giant apes swinging bone whips. Historical monuments being destroyed worldwide left and right. Everything moves at a lightning pace to the point you get mildly surprised when visually reminded that these are absolute colossal monsters. Giant monsters laughing and taunting each other and making silly faces. 80s music nostalgia bait every 5 minutes. Doesn't know when to end a joke. Godzilla has a snatched waist and can jog for some reason. Restraint is not a concept. Genuinely one of the stupidest things I've ever watched in my entire life. I am in awe.

something i realized in the recent years is that while my mom is a very nice person and i can understand why she is the way that she is sometimes, she had a history of always dismissing and throwing away things that were important to me, and in hindsight that certainly had an effect on both my trust in her and how much i was willing to ever share, and also just turned me into a dumpster goblin because i just gave up on ever having nice things so why bother ever caring about my personal space at all ✌️ i'll just live in the filth because we'll never have anything better after all !!
