I know this probably going to be a mildly unhinged side quest of a rant, but i genuinely find it so fucking interesting how the federal charges against Luigi include stalking. Like the federal government is charging him with stalking. Considering how much the police alone dismiss stalking as an issue. To hear them charge Luigi with this is somewhat laughable. Not in a good way. Like yes they agree stalking is an issue but only when it serves their own purpose. My ex boyfriend's ex girlfriend (were besties now) was refused a report and restraining order when my ex was stalking her work, her classes, showing up at her friends apartments, and sending death threats. A circumstance where multiple people with multiple pieces of evidence were involved. A circumstance where I personally got brought into it because of his psychotic nature. If anyone has interacted with any form of law enforcement regarding potential danger it becomes so evident how much they do not give a fuck about you or what could happen to you. And yet here we are, with Luigi having FEDERAL charges for stalking. It angers me to learn just how self serving the government is and always has been. They only care when its the ruling class and their pocket books that are effected.

Scene reminiscent of King Boo appearing at Darkshire to ward off the people from coming into his woods in my King Boo story. It takes place at night, so a good enough excuse to say it's not that busy with people--even for a town that's in the Boo Woods where it's constantly shrouded in darkness. lol

This image... oof. I had all the pieces put together in June of last year, I wanna say, but I took a look at it and instantly intimidated myself out of it. It sat in my idea list forever until I wanna say, September or so, I finally kicked myself in the rear and got to working on it. I almost tormented myself with making every window visible in regards to the inside, but decided 'nope' and made a lot of stained glass windows instead. Future me thanks past me for that choice..

I had a lot of fun drawing the bandits. I realized I don't draw them enough for someone who has them as a fave enemy, so in they go.

I do have the background saved solo for future projects or any commissions where folks want to ask for it as a substitute background. 😩💦
