Anthea's a good leader-but it's debatable if they're good as a cult leader. They try to run the cult more like a village than anything. There's sermons to Death of course-Anthea had been praying to him for years prior to even becoming vessel so they were more than happy to start the cult in his name, but outside of Sunday they're not completely mandatory (though everyone still tries to attend just because Anthea's preaching is very gentle/reassuring when compared to the Bishops). And it's only mandatory primarily because Anthea has a strict 'Sunday is Town Hall' rule where after sermon news, suggestions, problems, ect. are gone over, alongside plans for the week.

Narinder questioned their lax methods at first since even Ratau managed to be strict enough to place a divide between him and his cult's roles, but it did prove effective-followers were a lot more willing to put faith in a leader they felt saw them as people as opposed to the Bishops who sacrificed, cursed, and murdered followers left and right. Most had also lost their own villages and towns, so the familiarity was comforting. Narinder also paid more attention to Anthea's way of leading as opposed to other vessels. Usually he would only watch during crusades, sermons, or rituals, but Anthea would start talking to him just casually out of nowhere so often he kinda had no choice but to witness just how effective their kindness was. So different from his siblings...from himself-yet oddly something he grew to respect.

And though Anthea denied it early on, it was also out of their own desire for familiarity too-they missed the feeling of a village community. (plus their self-sacrificial nature made it difficult to be anything but nice to those in their care)

Man Lilith's relationship with emps has really changed, she still has Malcador as kakek, but she still definitely has emps as a grandfather. Thinking the main reason why ten year old and 13 year old her wasn't fond of emps was simply because of all the medical tests Emps would run on her to make sure she was healthy especially with her mutations.

Like she definitely doesn't mind him but she doesn't really like it and ten year old her definitely didn't understand why he was so worried. However thirteen year old just didn't want him to know about her blood drinking because of how deeply ashamed she was.

Meanwhile Neoth is having several panic attacks and deeply blaming himself as Lilith slowly deteriorates before his eyes and he can't find out why. Like the emperor is fully convinced something finally went wrong in her genetic code not thinking about the obvious being that hey maybe she hasn't been drinking blood. In his defense, Lilith had been getting weirdly secretive and was refusing anyone from looking inside her mouth to look at the markings there-

Updated Lilith, made it a bit easier to see her and made her hair colour a bit more natural looking. Didn't feel like playing with the hair to get to the right shade, so this will have to do.

Also have some fun facts about Lilith:

-She was actually born a few years before the Emperor found Sanguinius on Baal, having been born to a blind woman by the name of Amara Whitestrike. The Emperor wasn't pleased by this.

-Also Sanguinius wanted to name her Celestia originally, Amara talked him out of it -For the longest time was known as little Sister amongst the Blood Angels until she eventually got so old there were no marines left that were older then her - Her favourite uncles were Jaghatai Khan and Leman Russ as a child, as an Adult it's Guilliman because holy shit it's nice to have at least one normal family member who isn't either in the warp, dead, or a demon.

-She was actually never all that close to Horus due to usually leaving Horus and her father together since she knew Horus was the one her father trusted most. He was also often a bit much for her, finding herself exhausted just by being around him, whilst Jagh and Leman were a lot better for her to be around.

-She was, however, close to Fulgrim and knew what would happen to him the minute she saw him with the Laer blade. She did not tell him to get rid of it, for she knew it was already too late and mourned for him to the confusion of even her own Father.

-Also very close to Jaghatai and Rogal, both of whom she considered close family. She knows both are still alive somewhere and shares the same belief as their legions that they'll return. She's currently wishing Dorn would hurry his ass up about it though.

-Despite eventually becoming a Space Marine, she was never indoctrinated nor did she ever undergo the transplants and thus isn't considered an Astartes despite her size this is sometimes forgotten because she's older then dirt.

-Speaking of her being older then dirt, she's a Perpetual like Vulkan. It's the only reason she actually survived the Devastation of Baal. This has caused problems because she never announces that she's alive again, she just shows up. This has resulted in her being mistaken for the Sanguinor at least twice and caused poor Dante to think he was hallucinating for over a month. It was only when another marine said hello to her that Dante learned he wasn't going insane.

-She does have the black rage, though it appears to be close to how it was in Sanguinius then the weird possession that happens to Blood Angels, this coupled with the fact she does indeed possess the red thirst has had her under scrutiny many a times. However, she's also the oldest warrior the blood angels have and despite being considered a relic, her loyalty has not faltered and she's been well known to train neophytes herself, being very hands on.

-While sometimes possessing the same purity as her father, many times she actually comes off as a predator more often then not. This has caused many a times when she's showed up to take a look at the aspirants only to have them recoil in fear. (This upsets her greatly and there have been times where she's just tried to comfort them, only for them to see her teeth and talons. She's trying her best-)

-Despite this she is a great leader as her father is and well respected within the legion, though her fighting style often seems strange due to being heavily influenced by the training she received from both Leman and Jagh as a child and young woman.

-As a result she often does things that may seem strange to the blood angels, but make perfect sense to a Space Wolf or to a White Scar

There is something so good about Akutagawa--a very much feared, boogeyman like figure (even amongst his own men) in Yokohama because of his violence, bloodlust, and steadfast loyalty to a violent criminal organization such as the Port Mafia--given biblical angel symbolism

I don't know, something something about someone whose beauty is so incomprehensible and terrifying to most. He's not physically ugly, he's not--he's beautiful, the type of beautiful that almost feel as if he's not a real person, like he's a mirage, or a painting. But he's beautiful not like those renaissance cherubs and lovely looking maidens for angels, but more like the biblical angels with their beauty beyond mortal grasp, the beauty that brings fear and revulsion towards whoever sees them because they cannot comprehend it. Coming across him makes you understand why angels say, "Be not afraid" when they reveal themselves to mortals. An incomprehensible beauty that very few can keep looking at. A dangerous feat, literally and metaphorically.

(This isn't only with his physical appearance either--for someone who is constantly beaten down both by canon and by the fandom for being "simple", he is a terrifying bundle of different aspects that contradict each other. Like a super machine you open up and you see the intricate criss crossing of wires and bolts that hold it together. He's a mess of nerves and feelings and experiences so profound, so horrific, that you don't know where to start with him. To uncoil him and see him truly bare is almost impossible. Where does he end and the roots that connect him to the earth begin?)

Something about Akutagawa being an angel, a being created entirely to follow the will of "God", obey their every word. Unwavering loyalty to their master while singing praise. Acting entirely on the order of their master--wing always dipped in blood for his sake. A weapon of "heaven' that brings destruction to those who oppose "God" and be one of the many upon which "God" rests upon.

(Almost everything Akutagawa does is for the sake of the Port Mafia, taking orders from the "master" (boss) himself. Willingness and obedience and loyalty repeatedly exploited and used, everything he has done as one of the high ranking leaders handling most of the Mafia's dirty work playing a part so Mori's throne stays high.)

Something about comparing Akutagawa to a certain archangel, finding repulsion in "God"'s cherished creation, the inferiority that came with being "less" to "mankind", and the painful fall from grace to the deepest pits of despair when he confronts the being that created him, molded him, and then condemn him. And to his humiliation, mankind, for centuries, condemns him too.

(He can't be compared to Lucifer, God's most beloved angel. Maybe Dazai did value him, but it doesn't matter, does it? because the difference between the two is that one was cherished and one never was. However, you can compare the rage and humiliation Akutagawa felt towards Atsushi--for obtaining Dazai's approval and affection with no effort, no proper control over his skill or any seemingly differentiating quality-- to Lucifer's refusal to bow down to humanity--a creation inherently imperfect and lackluster, with not the qualities of angels. And as a result? Disgraced. Both by the creator and by ones that held their creator's favor. )

Something about Akutagawa being an angel--someone whose presence means nothing pleasant to those he appears before. A reaper of sorts, responsible for taking life and for souls to see the afterlife (killing both as an order and an act of mercy, for he despises torture and meaningless suffering). A guardian angel watching over "mankind" from afar, where he is not aware and saving him from certain death at his own expense.

There's just something so appealing about depicting Akutagawa--a fearsome, ruthless, and bloodthirsty mafioso, a boogeyman to his own men--as an angel, be it of death, of mercy, a destroying angel-- whatever anyone wants to see him as and use him for.
