we were genuinely so cheated not to have Cas possess Dean. Hell! He could have possessed Sam and it still would have gotten the point across. Jensen would have put his whole jussy into the Cas/Dean hand off, and they could have had a whole convo before or after about how “it’s okay Cas, I trust you. You can have control.” And then references from then on to “when I was in you…” and with Sam? Don’t get me started. Dean being so fucking uncomfortable because Cas looks like his brother. Or the complete opposite where Dean so clearly just sees Cas and keeps having to be like “oh shit” when he gets too close and realizes it’s Sam’s body and it’s weird. So many possibilities and we got none of them 😭

so much supernatural discourse boils down to claiming a thing we actually see dean do on the show is something he would not do, claiming a thing we see dean specifically not do on the show is something he would do, claiming something all the main characters do is something dean alone is doing, or claiming something sam does on the show is something dean did.

and im so confused. because the answer is comically simple and it's a thing we all allegedly love doing and that is... watching supernatural?

Vessel #7 was an interesting disciple. She came in with a strong sense of justice and a desire to help, yet in the same vein could be overtly informal and overzealous-namely in her over-confidence in flirting with anyone, from her cultists to enemies to Death himself. Despite his lack of interest and repeated attempts at telling her to cease fooling around, she continued taunting him till the day she abdicated the crown.

She got under his skin in a way others hadn't, and while at the time he'd loathed it, once she was gone, he found himself missing her sound. Her deaths were rare as was her company, but even so, most vessels didn't bother trying to converse as much as she did, and while he could've done without the flirts, it was almost enjoyable at times, when she dropped the flirting that is.

While I was planning to draw this much later I’ve been struggling to make any progress on something I wanted to draw for my personal project so I decided to draw this instead since it was on my mind.

I like this format of displaying players much more then my first messy group shot, I don’t think there will be a part 3 but there might be eventually if I find enough players OCs to draw (atm I only have one more i was thinking of doing, I haven’t drawn for this, so not enough for a part 3)

the way that nick spell in 14x17 makes it canonically SO easy to open a portal to the empty. it drives me insane. dean literally HAD cas's blood. on his jacket. it was all right there. it was set up perfectly. why show us nick opening a portal to the empty and specifically showing that the main ingredient was BLOOD then. not using that. dean was meant to rescue cas!!!!! full circle moment. i'm the one who gripped you tight a raised you from perdition. what's the matter, cas? you don't think you deserve to be saved? i love you, too. of course i love you. SMOOCH. anyways.

the thing with racism in supernatural is that you can look at any aspect of the show and you WILL find something racist. whether in-universe (where you can additionally differ with hunter culture, monsters+lore, fetishisation), writing, casting, production.

like only scratching the surface of the anti black racism with the casting is like:

90% of black supernatural characters are antagonists with insane potential who got killed off (or ignored in raphaels case) the second they finished an amazing build-up for a character arc (gordon, jake s2, henriksen, uriel, raphael, the vampire alpha)

5% of black supernatural characters are 1-episode side characters or minor characters that had about 2% of their potential used (rufus, missouri, the hunter couple)

last 5% of black supernatural characters had 1-2 scenes where they functioned either 1. as hoodoo/voodoo plot device (playthings, crossroad blues) or 2. random demon (also antagonists)

and this is with black spn characters making up like. 5% of all spn characters

I don't get why Gabriel and Anna are pictured as good perfect positive siblings in fanon when they literally abandoned everyone and spend much time saying the same stuff as Heaven (you have to accept your fate, angels don't feel, etc, etc).

Maybe they physically got away, but they didn't get free of the cult thinking and they have many issues because of it. Hope that helps 👍
