Not sure what to call this set yet. Little yellow flowers and dark blue angelina fiber make a nice contrast.

Supply haul! Showing off some of the supplies we just got to put into dice... Angelina Fiber, Mylar/unicorn skin, and snake skin (ethically sourced) plus some extra goodies. Can't wait to put all of this in some dice, honestly!
And Da Wyfe returns for a voice over with guest star Yeet (She had some opinions on the things we got).

Prepared Fiber--all of this is prepared by me :) the following 4 are cheaper as I can ship them in normal envelopes
A: 0.14 oz, combed top. Blend of bfl, tencel, tussah silk, corriedale, merino. Very soft and shiny. $8.
B: 0.11 oz, combed top. Blend of tussah silk (black) and mohair locks (green). $8
C: 0.22 oz, combed top. Same blend as A, just a lot more of it and in different combos. Distinct gradient from one end to the other. $10
D: 0.4 oz, rolag (made on blending board). Tussah silk, mohair, and bfl. Very squishy and fine. $13
E: 0.29 oz. Rolag, wool and cotton blend. Even more stripes of color under the surface. $13
F: 0.51 oz. Rolag, wool blend with some Angelina. Purple underneath. $15
G: 4.75 ounces. Rolags (many many rolags). Blend of various wools; some fibers are not quite next to skin soft, but overall it's a soft blend. Mix of red, orange, white, purple, and black. $45
H: 1 ounce. Washed longwool fleece (breed unknown). Dyed by myself with onion skin. $10
I: 1.2 ounces. Southdown flax blend, predrafted from rolags. Could potentially make up to 6 ounces total of this. $18
FLEECE
J: 6 ounces. Washed jacob lambsfleece. Very soft for a jacob, large bits of vm (was able to get it out with hand cards). $20
K: 5.5 ounces. Hampshire with 2+ years growth, washed fleece. Definitely an odd fleece, not like your usual down breed. Has vm; washed it multiple times but still looks gross--I've found its almost impossible to get totally clean before it's yarn. Recommend combing, spinning, then washing. Nice and soft. $25
L: 7.5 ounces BFL cross. Very soft and with good luster. Some vm, was able to remove with hand cards. $25
M: 4.75 oz. Jacob x Border Leicester. Good luster, warm brown tips. Nicely soft. $20
SPINDLES:
1: thin spindle (7 inches long). Good for cobweb weight but can achieve thinner and thicker. Birch wood with woodburning. $80
2: thick spindle (7 inches long). Good for laceweight but can achieve thinner and thicker. Wood type unknown (some sort of fruit tree iirc). No woodburning due to lots of wormholes and spalting which provide their own visual interest (they don't cause problems spinning don't worry). $60
3: thick spindle (6.5 in long). Good for laceweight, can spin thicker and thinner. No clue on wood type. Woodburned on most of the surface, the rest has wormholes again. $90
BAGS
4: handblended handspun handknit drawstring project bag, 20 inch circumference. Cord is handspun flax. It's folded in half in the bigger picture. $90
5: handblended handspun handknit pouch. Don't remember the circumference but you can compare to the other bag. Body is entirely southdown babydoll wool. Handle is handspun icord. $75
HANDSPUN YARN
6: 4 oz, 325 yards. Hand blended and handspun. Alpaca, wool, silk, silk noil, angelina. 2 ply fingering weight. Very textured. $65
7: 5.75 oz, 572 yds. Merino and silk blend, 2 ply, dk weight. Blended for a triangle shawl, stripes get longer as you go. Very soft, shines very beautiful in the light. $115
Please DM if you're interested--first come first serve. I take payment via ko-fi.

Time seemed to slow down as your muscles coiled, every fiber of your being honed in on that one moment. As the ball reached its apex, you launched yourself into the air, a burst of controlled power. Your arm swung back, and with a thunderous crack, your hand connected with the ball. You could almost hear the collective intake of breath from the crowd. The ball rocketed downward, a streak of white lightning aimed unerringly for the opposing court. The ball hit the floor with a triumphant thud, a resounding echo of victory. In that fleeting instant, you felt invincible. And you were.
Is there a better match than you and volleyball?
You, arguably the most promising spiker of your generation, led your highschool team to victory by winning against your ex-bestfriend slash rival, Nikita.
You couldn't believe you won a volleyball scholarship for the university of your dreams; and maybe you were right not to. An anonymous source convinced the university that you partook in doping and steroid use, which led them to drop you.
With no options left due to the allegations, you decided to accept a scholarship to a minor university with an unknown and lacking volleyball club, the Boarwood Titans. What's worse is that you are now forced to become a battery with your childhood rival, Nikita being the setter and you the spiker.
Can you work together with your rival to lead your team to the victor? Or will hate prevail? And will you find out who really spread the rumors against you?
A fully customisable main character, including gender, pronouns, personality, looks, jersey number, playing style, and many more!
Choices that impact the story throughout, including your team's ranking and dynamic, your reputation as a spiker, your grades, your fame, and more.
Choose between 7 romance options - figure out the love/hate relationship with your rival, fall in love with your childhood best -friend, fall back in love with your ex, the coach's child, a dedicated supporter, a mysterious med student, and the team's ex-spiker whose place you took.
Solve a mystery: who is the anonymous source hellbent on ruining your dreams?
Content suitable for 18+ readers, such as sexual themes, substance (steroids, drugs and alcohol) use, explicit language and themes, and violence.
Nikita Raymond [RO, F/M/NB]: Once your training buddy and now your rival, you wonder if the infamous "Tiger" is the one behind the allegations. There is no place for love between you two. They hate you as much as you hate them; but you'll have to to put that aside if you want to win. Can you?
Klaus/Klara Padel [RO, F/M/NB]: A stern and strict figure in your team, they're especially wary of you ever since you took their spot as a spiker. They've since made it their personal goal to make your stay at the university a living hell. They want to get their spot back, and they've got the motivation. Part of them hopes you'll be able to impress them and show them you deserve their spot, but until then, you'll have to suffer.
Jeremiah/Jerilynn Blake [RO, FtM/MtF]: The team's sweetheart, they're loved by everybody, and for a good reason. Always sporting a smile on their face and snacks in their hand, they quickly become one of your closest friends at Boarwood University.
Bree [RO, F/M/NB]: Your best-friend and setter in your previous team. They quit volleyball but still enrolled at Boarwood to be with you. A constant in your life since you were little, you'll find that Nikita's presence will create tension between you two. What's really going on between them?
Andrea Michelle [RO, F/M/NB]: Despite being the Boarwood Titans' most dedicated supporter, their stoic and hot-and-cold behaviour confuses you. They take an interest in you, only to ignore you for days. What's really up with this mysterious med student?
Angelina/Angelo Shasco [RO, F/M/NB]: Your charming ex. Things get messy when you find out your least favourite ex is at Boarwood, and they seem dedicated to not making you forget the past you had, and not in a positive way. Oh boy, spotting them at one of your games might cause either the win of the century or your life's biggest blunder.
Meet a wide cast of characters, including your classmates, teammates, opponents, and more!

More finished spins from Tour de Fleece!
The three skeins together were intended for a shifty cowl, but now I’m thinking they might be too similar for that? The left and center skeins are both a merino/yak/silk blend from Fossil Fibers, Emerald City Building and Beorn’s Bear. The right is Rambouillet from Three Waters Farm, called sheep in the field.
The odd skein out is a three ply I spun with batts I made last year. Corriedale, merino, silk, and some copper colored angelina.

Dusknoir felt!
about a week ago I pulled a random pokemon card from those halloween funpacks and this is what I tried to make!
it's pretty big at around 4.5 inches (12ish cm) tall. (not inluding the tail)
the eye has a little angelina fiber to add just a little sparkle. the colour ended up being halfway between normal and shiny cause i didn't have any warm greys and was too sick to think through making a warmer grey
I also learned that dusknoir has a wittle face on it's back! overall had a blast.
i'll have the speedpaint up eventually... it's like uh... 9 hours of poking so it may be a longer one.... sorry lol
I hope you enjoy and i hope to do more of these random funpack felts in the future!

Are you looking to shop more sustainably? One way is to buy clothing that has natural fibers. Plastics in clothing is one of the main contributors to microplastics. So what to look for?
Polyester, elastin, and poly-blends are all plastic based fibers. Similarly, if you buy wool avoid Angelina. That's just Easter grass mixed in to give shimmer.
More sustainable fabrics are: cotton, linen, wool, cashmere, leather, rayon and hemp. Bamboo is a more sustainable rayon than other types. Some leathers have a lot of toxic chemicals in the processing but leather lasts and you'll produce less waste overall.
Avoid vegan leather. Unless it's mushroom based, that's just plastic. Get cotton shoes like converse.
It may cost a little more, but it's worth it for yourself and the planet.

Tour de Fleece 2023
While I'm still spinning for the Tour de Femmes extra week, I thought I'd put my totals for main tour up here now :) @a-tour-de-fleece
I completed seven projects (and made progress on several spindle projects as well). My completed spinning totaled 856g/ 1.9lb, and my finished skeins would measure 1405yd laid end to end, with yardage of individual plies totaling 3247yd. Individual project photos and totals below the cut!
time for another adventure - 149yd/154g polwarth/silk/tweed Inglenook Bordeaux mirror-plied bulky rustic yarn. An experiment in thicker singles (some success, less evenness than I'd like) and my first time mirroring colors in a ply. surprised and enchanted by how the color turned out.
transformation - 160yd/103g silk/rambouillet Fresh Lotus Designs silk lap plied to a Rambouillet singles -- this one was straight up a trans metaphor in the spinning. new and surprisingly challenging work (silk laps are a bitch to draft it turns out). gorgeous and worth it. stabilized when paired with work from my past (the rambo single came from deep stash). also it's pride colors c'mon.
a long delayed dusk - 228yd/125g merino/silk/mohair/stellina home blended 2-ply DK yarn -- spun and plied entirely on the first challenge day. deep stash blended fiber I utterly failed to spin in 2019 (too many lengths!) but I achieved it now. @damnfool-of-a-took picked the colors in the first place and she still loves them
underwater dreams - 294yd/100g Polwarth Cozy Hearth Yarn Works Island Time fractal 3-ply fingering yarn -- this is some of my dye work! it's not actually listed in the store bc I was trying for something else when I made it, but I did take notes so who knows, it may be listed someday. it turned out shockingly perfectly given this was absolutely the spin I zoned out on the most. literally my most even and exact and perfect yarn ever.
as above so below - 199yd/150g BFL/merino/tencel/noil/angelina Ajem Fiber Arts Nebula & High Tide marled woolen aran yarn -- made me fall in love with batts again. SO fluffy and fun to spin! and this kind of color busyness is more my speed <3
berries ripen in the gold - 72yd/134g BFL/muga silk Fresh Lotus Designs home blended thick and thin yarn -- my first blending board rolag project in a long while. next time I'll load less on each board, as these were tricky to draft and the spinning suffered for it, but I'm still really happy with the colors, and since it was a gift for my wife and she loves it, that's good enough :)
the cool refreshing taste of being yourself - 303yd/151g Merino/tussah/flax Inglenook Cucumber z-plied 3-ply light worsted yarn -- it's a traditional 3-ply but backwards. it's the basic three fiber types drenched in a snazzy dye bath. it's absolutely being used for witchcraft.

everyone shut the fuck up i made a cool hat 100% from scratch
spun the yarn and everything!
made using a vintage Singer HK-100 knitting machine from 1985 with a yarn whose fiber contents i don't know how to accurately describe because it's 100% merino (and some angelina blended in) plied with sewing thread
#tora posts#knitblr#knitting#machine knitting#look yall i'm sorry if you think knitting machines are cheating but i am literally disabled and can't hold knitting needles#so i'm tagging this as handknit anyway because it's still a manually operated knitting machine#but anyway my hat is fucking cool

Shepherd's Harvest finds
Today was incredibly busy and I walked over 18,000 steps, which simultaneously makes me want to never take another step but also maybe to go around the block so I hit an even 20,000.
The first event of the day was the local Sheep and Wool festival, and so I took the opportunity to buy about a year's amount of supplies for upcoming Critical Role projects - and also adding Worlds Beyond Number, because I can.
Selection, from top left:
In the plastic bag there's 4 ounces of undyed mohair, for Deanna
the white and blue braid of roving is going to be for Patia, probably fractal plied?
the mostly red bit is going to be for Ame - it's got some recycled sari and a lot of other random bits in it.
The coiled braid is some faux cashmere that I'm going to mix with some other Faux Cashmere for FRIDA
The two light blues are going to be mixed into some dark blues I have for Suvi - the second blue is also some recycled sari (and has some small hints of red in it_
The golden yellows are going to be mixed in with some really gorgeous purples I have for Laerryn. I'm just hoping it doesn't come out too much like Vikings colors
The giant coiled white and yellow braid is going to be half of Loquatious - I'm going to do a marled yarn for him
two of the smaller packets at the bottom - the light gray and tan - are for Eursulon. I've got a really nice deep green than I'm going to combine these exotic fibers (yak and camel) with.
The black is going to be the end pieces for Opal - to go with some hot pink I purchased last year
the dyes are pink and kelly green, for Deanna
and then the angelina is going to go with the gold angelina I already own to be combined for the Calamity crew (minus Cerrit, mostly)
#Critical Yarns#I've got something possibly for Nydas#but he's the one I'm least sure about#I also just finished 1.5 ounces of angora for Morrigan

NEED TO MAKE RENT SALE
As you may have seen I'm selling some of my handspun yarn, along with some fleece, batts, rolags, and other odds and ends. I'm really short on rent this month, largely due to having so many flare up days that working was almost impossible. So, I'm selling some of my work in the hopes that I can still make rent somehow. I need over $500.
Im also linking to my kofi. If you don't wish to buy anything but still want to help me make rent--which I would appreciate so much <3
I'll be updating this post as I sell things so please make sure to click back to my original post to check if it's still available. First come first serve. Unless otherwise stated, all shipping is $5 USD to within the USA. If you're outside of the USA please let me know--shipping will likely be between $30-50 USD depending on to where, but I am happy to work with you if you're interested.
PLEASE DM ME IF YOU WANT TO BUY SOMETHING <3
YARNS (please ignore the slips of paper, ive given everything a nice label now)
A: 572 yards/ 480 meters. 5.75 oz/ 165 grams. 2 ply, approximately DK weight. Silk and merino blend assembled by myself. There are stripes of different greens which are arranged to be bigger at one end than the other, so a triangle shawl (working from the correct end of yarn) will have stripes that are more or less even instead of getting thicker near the narrow end of the shawl. I don't know how noticeable the effect will be, though. Silky soft and shines beautifully in the sun. $100 USD or best offer.
B: 175 yards/160 meters. 2 oz/ 57 grams. 2 ply, light fingering weight to sport weight. Luxury blend of alpaca, cormo, debouillet, silk, silk noil, angora, and cashmere. Very textured due to how I plied it and some noils, but also extremely soft and with lovely drape. Next to skin soft. $60 USD or best offer. SOLD
C: 176 yards/160 meters. 2.25 oz/64 grams. 2 ply, light worsted. Merino, silk, silk noil, angora, and mystery wool blend. Next to skin soft, lots of different colors, and good drape. $50 USD or best offer. SOLD
D: 152 yards/130 meters. 2 oz/57 grams. 3 ply, light worsted. Cormo, alpaca, and merino blend. This yarn was arranged into a stripey gradient--white stripes separating a light purple to dark purple gradient. 3 ply. Incredibly soft--would be perfect for a hat or cowl. $55 USD or best offer.
E: 100 yards/91 meters. 2.5 oz/71 grams. Traditional 3 ply, aran/bulky weight. Romney 3 ply. Durable, squishy, and warm, but not particularly soft. Would make a great hat or gloves. $35 USD or best offer SOLD
F: 140 yards/128 meters. 1.75 oz/50 grams. Traditional 3 ply, fingering weight. Beautiful BFL yarn in autumn colors. Due to the traditional 3 ply the colors constantly shift and change. Very soft and with good drape. $45 USD or best offer. SOLD
G: 325 yards/300 meters. 4 oz/115 grams. 2 ply, fingering weight. Wool, silk, silk noil, alpaca, and Angelina blend. Very textured but soft and drapey. $80 USD or best offer.
H: 166 yards/145 meters. 2 oz/57 grams. 2 ply worsted weight. Targhee, BFL, Angelina blend. Incredibly soft and drapey. Fuzzy and lightly underplied for maximum softness (so a little delicate). Next to skin quality. $45 USD or best offer.
(I'll accept the highest offer I get in a timely manner, so if you really want something and think other people also want to buy it, you can offer more to potentially guarantee you get it. Or offer less, and get it for cheaper if nobody else wants it. Although I wont accept very low offers, sorry.)
BATTS AND ROLAGS. These all contain several large handfuls of milkweed floss, because why not. Very fun and soft to spin.
A. 0.75 oz/21 grams. Romney, BFL, silk, bamboo, Targhee, milkweed floss. Somewhat soft, would be very soft if plied with a fine fiber. Lots of purples and blues, with small amounts of rainbow. Should yield a heathered, smooth yarn except for bumps of milkweed floss. $15 USD or best offer. SOLD
B. 0.75 ounces/21 grams. Naturally dyed Shetland combing waste (yellow), BFL, silk merino, milkweed floss. Many different colors arranged in stripes--yellow and blue primarily. Should yield a textured yarn due to the combing waste, but also lofty and colorful. Fairly soft and very squishy. $15 USD or best offer.
C: 0.5 oz/14 grams. Tussah silk, BFL, merino, merino combing waste, milkweed floss. Very soft. Majority tussah silk which is charcoal black. The other colors are dark purple, a few streaks of red, and the shining white from the milkweed floss. Should spin up to a fine and soft yarn. I am also able to make more of these, which would be the same weight and price and matching the original as closely as possible. Let me know if you want several. $12 USD or best offer. SOLD -- but i can make more, if youre interested !
D: 0.5 oz/14 grams. Merino combing waste, merino, BFL, silk, milkweed floss. Buttery soft. Mostly dark brown with purple, blue, and white streaks. I can make several identical ones if desired, for the same price each. $12 USD or best offer. SOLD -- but i can more, if you're interested !
E: 0.5 oz/14 grams. BFL merino, mystery wool and milkweed floss blend. This has stripes of purple and blue, suspended a squishy mystery combing waste. Should yield a fine but squishy yarn. $10 USD or best offer. SOLD
If I sell all or most of these I will make some more !
FLEECE. I am selling by the ounce (28 grams). I'm also willing to process these into fluffy hand carded rolags or fine hand combed top as desired, which will cost extra depending on how difficult the fiber is to process.
A. Jacob lambswool. Very soft but lots of large vm (so, easy to pick out) and nepps/noils. Those will stay in the fiber unless combed, so this tends to produce a very soft, bumpy yarn. I love this fleece but I just can't seem to use it up. Primarily dark brown, but I also have some white and mixed as well. I have about 8 ounces. Washed but still a tiny bit greasy (just to my preference). $3 an ounce.
B: Rambouillet. I have almost a pound of this stuff. Incredibly buttery soft. Like touching seafoam. But it has a ton of fine VM, so it can only be cleaned either lock by lock on hand cards or combed. I am willing to clean it for you. Takes a long time to get into a spinnable state but it is SO worth it. $2 an ounce. SOLD
C: Breed unknown. Some sections are salmon pink, others closer to hot pink. Not much vm, can be combed open lock by lock on hand cards or combed into top. Yields a silky, strong, hairy yarn. Willing to process for you (this would be one of the cheaper ones to do, it's very easy). I have 5 ounces. $2 an ounce. SOLD
D & E: These are both rya lambswool, naturally dyed with yellow onion skin (the bright yellow one with alum, the copper one with copper). Very soft and silky, spins up to a surprisingly robust yarn. Absolute treat to work with. Some vm but the nature of this fleece causes the vm to fall out pretty easily. I have about a pound total. Will process for you. Washed and dyed by myself. $5 an ounce. D IS SOLD, E IS STILL AVAILABLE
F: Sunshine Shetland. Very soft and fine. Naturally dyed, again with onion skins. The tips are somewhat felted and need to be pulled off, which is quick and easy. If combed lock by lock and then spun that way you can get a subtle gradient of orange to yellow with each lock... absolutely gorgeous. Will process for you. I have about 10 ounces. Washed and dyed by myself. $5 per ounce. SOLD
G: Red Hampshire. Not neon red like in the picture, more of a brick red. Very soft and foamy. Some vm. Easy to process on hand cards by combing lock by lock or turning into a rolag. Washed and dyed (using food coloring) by myself. I only have an ounce and a quarter--which is $6 for all of it. SOLD
COMBING WASTE GRAB BAGS
These are 1 ounce bags of primarily combing waste (so, short fibers and likely some vm) along with other interesting scrap such as mohair locks, colorful merino, and sometimes the occasional single rolag. Lots of the colors are naturally dyed by myself. Great for turning into rolags or using for batt fodder. These are $5 USD if you're buying more than one item (that could be yarn, another grab bag, some fleece, etc) or $10 USD each if you are only buying a single grab bag.
SPINDLES
Lastly, I'm also selling some spindles. A-C are whittled and decorated by myself. D is a beautiful Dealgan which I never could figure out how to use.
A. Supported spindle carved from a fruit tree. I gave it a steeple shape, which does make it slow to spin with. Really enjoyable for special spins that you want to do slowly and thoughtfully. Small spindle, about the length of my hand. $55 USD or best offer.
B. Onion dome supported spindle. Very light for its size, so it can hold a decent cop on it. Small spindle--about the length of my hand. $50 USD or best offer. SOLD ! thank you 🩵🩵
C: Larch spindle. This one has lots of beautiful spalting, as well as being woodburned. Also the length of my hand. Has a very distinct feel to it, sort of in an alive way. $90 USD or best offer.
D: Lightning Dealgan. I got it for $50 and it's basically unused, so reselling for $50 USD. Very heavy and smooth.
And thats it ! If you don't want to buy anything but still wish to help me make rent, you can also donate to my kofi, which would mean the world to me <3

Blurb:
Never fall in love with a client.
One of the cardinal rules of matchmaking that I was positive I'd never break.
That is until Nathan Wilder walked into Love Moore Matchmaking Agency, needing my help to find him the one.
A tall order to ask since he was the most hated man in the NHL.
Broody. Crude. Abrasive.
The man was a six-foot-three walking red flag.
Right off the bat, every fiber of my being told me he'd be trouble.
He wasn't looking for love.
It was all a PR stunt to clean up his image so he could keep playing for the Boston Guardians.
But there was something in his sad, soulful eyes that just pulled me in, forcing me to agree to this whole charade.
Little did I know that in my quest to find him love, I'd be the one falling head over heels for him.
Not exactly very professional.
Argh.

How am I supposed to find Nate his perfect match when I want him to be mine?
