It's a bit of an odd question, but...have you ever seen a Slightly Damned fancharacter that was a Demon/Angel mixling? Nevermind canon. I've seen more Demon/Human OCs than Demon/Angels, and *these* are never-canon-ever. I refuse to believe I'm the first in ~20 years to have made a non-joke Angel/Demon. Being fairly new to the fandom, I don't know about the forums or older communities, but perhaps you of all people might know? Apologies if this question is misplaced. Love your work.

No worries, your question isn't misplaced! But I don't know much about the kinds of OCs people made in the past. Unfortunately, I was pretty down on the practice when I first started the comic. I know that making OCs has nothing to do with being a furry, but because my characters were animal-like, I was pretty negative about people making their own versions. Yes, I am well aware of how contradictory that is. I was literally a teenager. I wanted nothing to do with the furry community because they were the internet's punching bag at the time. I believed in misconceptions and gave into peer pressure, and I mistakenly thought people making their own characters would reflect poorly on me. Now I think fan content is great! I want to encourage more people to make OCs, and update my info pages with more details and clearer design instructions. In any case, while I can't shed light on the OCs of the ancient past, I can tell you that I did draw a hybrid Demon/Angel like, once, wayyyy back in 2005:

It's just a doodle from when I was 18. I didn't go anywhere with it and ultimately went into a different direction with the canon. But good on you for going for it anyway! I don't think canon needs to matter with people's OCs. That's the fun of fan content.

Oh my god.. I was just randomly surfing the lemon demon tag and I discovered lime angel?? I'm actually kinda obsessed.. would yall like it if I cooked up some personal designs for it? 🥺

I actually really like angel/demon ocs and oc dynamics (ESPECIALLY WITH ROLE SUBVERSION/REVERSAL)

Ranting about my angel/demon ocs below:

I have a angel/demon cyclops oc I turned into a dw oc named Lumin (she and one of my other dw ocs might actually get a duo blog so keep your eyes peeled 🥳)

Two of the four/five sidekicks for one of my fav ocs have are a weirdcore risen(?) demon that's an eye with stylized bat wings, a demon tail, and a halo-

And the other is a weirdcore fallen angel that's tooth with a mouth, demon horns, and four angel wings

(None of these previous guys have any concrete colors yet btw, although the next two are atleast partially concrete)

Then there's two of my among us ocs for a comic I wanted to make that hasn't really gone anywhere yet, where white is an innocent demon, and black is a sort of seductive/succubus angel, although it's a double subversion because white is an imposter 😋

“Shattering Angels”

//Man I had way too much fun with this- Check out this little comic thing I made for @shatteringangels​! Been mad stressed over college and ended up working on this casually in my downtime, or when I was supposed to be studying but details.

//The comic’s about Vien’s life in Indigo Falls and her relationship with the angels and demons around her. As you can see, there’s a lot of complicated emotions, but considering her life here, I can’t exactly blame her.

since i’m on that oc making grind, i made another one. he’s kinda been my oc for a bit now. i’ve been drawing him a lot for no reason. but it’s safe to say that salvador is an official oc now. he lives in the middle of nowhere and makes it his entire aesthetic. gothic americana basically. he’s weird but he’s pretty cool ^^
