I found this game last month on xbox for $5.

I avoided it when it was released, a highly anticipated game ruined by EA's greed (again), I have to say that it surprised me, it's not as good as the ME trilogy but it's not a bad game either, it's pretty decent and it gave me lot of hours of entertainment, it was good to play it years later without fresh memories of previous games or the prejudices generated by the launch.

pros:

Combat system 👌

Angaras are cute, even the evil ones look cute while being villains

Spaaaaaace! (ahem, exploring solar systems and planets)

Installing outpost, making planets safe without being a colonizer (I gave all power to angaras)

I was annoyed at first that Ryder was so immature, but I think it's part of the journey, it felt like he was growing as a person, someone who learns along the way like we all do

You can customize color and create weapons and armor (the remnant armor is my favorite one)

cons:

I remember that at that time facial animations were weird, well they fixed it, still a little weird though (specially Peebee)

Some dialogues felt out of place and the story could have been better

Dialogues with colleagues run out too soon

They don't let you explore Meridian :( I wanted more planets to explore!

Collecting rocks is boring. It's tedious to visit places over and over again for small tasks

The villain was meh

Everyone knows who the pathfinder is even if they just came out of stasis, it doesn't make sense

Everything else was amazing and I was obsessed this last month

this whole scene was funny, being realistic, it cost a lot of time and money just for a movie night

Not sure if I still count as 'new' after three weeks on here but as a complete tumblr newbie (and an introvert) I took some time to get a hang of how to post/like/reblog/comment/follow/ask/do all of the tumblr stuff. But now I feel brave enough to finally introduce myself properly to the community.

So: Hello (again)! I am philodendrontrait — or nani (she/her) — and I play the sims 4!

I have been playing with a legacy save file since getting the game in 2019 and that's what I'll be mostly posting on here. I already started with posting generation 8 but as that generation is growing old now, you will probably start seeing more of generation 9 soon.

I play rotationally through my legacy households (for one sim-week, usually, unless I am having way too much fun), so it might be a little chaotic at times but I try to get some kind of organization in there.

✧˖° Some more facts about me:

I would consider myself a gameplay simmer. I do enjoy CAS and building too but mostly to make friends/partners and houses for my legacy sims.

I started with sims 2 and played sims 3 on the family PC but got sims 4 for my laptop when the game was free in 2019.

Other than the sims, I play Mass Effect (currently in my first play-through of Andromeda) and Assassin's Creed. I am a completionist in all of these games lol.

I am aroace (happy pride!) but I love having my sims do romantic stuff haha.

I am from Europe and part-Japanese. English is not my first language.

Some of my other interests: dinosaurs, kpop, 80s and 90s music, r&b, plants (hence the url), writing, reading, drawing (haven't done that in a while though), crafts and anything creative.

If I was a sim, my traits would probably be unflirty, geek, and perfectionist/creative.

The ring buckles, splitting along the seams and splaying out into space. Magnetic anchors fail as the halo fractures and splits away from the station's central architecture. Fragments rush away toward the planet; Caelus’ ruin falls to Uranus in lingering prolicidal consummation. “RASPUTIN STOP!” Laser fire halts immediately. “You’re gunna sink the whole station!”

Highly recommend reading the whole thing though! Really good for some stuff on Ana and Jinju (and Jinju's ... pets), Rasputin shenanigans and Golden Age shenanigans: Ana visits an old Golden Age space station orbiting Uranus which was Clovis' colonisation project - the ECHO ships that were meant to go to the Andromeda galaxy. Several years after this weblore, we'll learn about Soteria and how she stole one of the ECHO ships and crash landed on Neptune which leads to Neomuna! I was always intrigued about a bit in Legacy where it mentioned that one ship was still at the station, never launched, but one was missing. This was then clarified back in Seraph with Soteria which was a great throwback to this.

It's an interesting look into the Golden Age colonisation projects, something possibly relevant for Frontiers. Obviously this specific project never panned out (that we know of), but there were most likely others like it. We know that they were scanning systems outside of our own for potential and it was the sole purpose of Soteria's creation.

Really cool weblore, lots to read, Ana and Jinju are really cute, there's a Camrin mention, Rasputin is being Rasputin and there's even some space station psychological horrors of an Exo that was reset 2500+ times! For reference, it was released back in Season of the Worthy.

About the teddy lupin hc with his teeth- yes! He would most likely mess up his teeth worse then they already were so Andromeda had to get him braces despite his protests and begging. After being straped to the chair and wearing them for like 2 years his tooth gap was still there SO HE DID ALL THAT FOR NOTHING. (biggest L he's ever taken)

Lilly wears lots of colorful and wacky earrings just like aunt luna. They probably trade pairs or something.

James sirius is really into cinema especially horror. He loves being scared and most of the time he just laughs at the jumpscares. I also feel like he has written entire analysis in his head on the things he's fixated on but doesn't have the energy to write them down so he just rants about his favorite stuff to his family.

Victoire was the one making moves on teddy not the other way around. This made bills distaste for teddy even worse cause he wasn't even the one doing anything 🙄

Albus's room is filled with action figures, stuffed animals, posters ect of all the stuff he enjoys. Like people always talk about how much of a loser scorpius is but not so much albus. Trust me though he goes to bed reading fanfiction and was most definitely "the weird kid" at school. Probably grew up watching markiplier and jacksepticeye.

Teddy gives me those vibes where every time something happens teddy just goes "don't worry, I know a guy" and proceeds to fix the problem.

Victoire is really close to her maternal grandpa because everyone on the weasley family had lost stuff to the war including her parents so her grandfather was 1 of the only people in her family that didn't have any tragedy on her birthday so he was one of the few people who celebrated it without any sadness about the day. Then later teddy did as well.

Albus likes to draw and several pages of his sketch book is dedicated to just scorpius.

So when it comes to scorpius's appearance I kinda wrestled with it because on one hand there's no way he's not attractive because his mother is Astoria. Not even draco too just Astoria is enough to make that kid divine looking but if he was super pretty then there's no way he wouldn't be asked out even if it was just for shallow reasons. So in my head he is pretty but looks like a corpse. He has eye bags, beauty marks all over his body he's pale and skinny too so he doesn't look human. Albus of course thinks he looks like a sculpture but others think he looks uncanny.

Teddy loved being in the woods/forest cause he loved running around and getting all that energy out. Probably met a old man named Charles who taught him how to fish and scavenge or something. Nobody knew teddy was being fr when he talked about Charles because Charles was probably some urban legend. He was being real though.

(Anyway hope you don't mind me sending you these! if I wrote a fanfic I would include all this stuff but unfortunately I don't have the dedication or skill to do that)

i agree with all of these lmfao. i feel like luna makes lily earrings for her birthday every year like a tradition. i also heavily fw assertive victoire— i like to think teddy had always been the flirty, confident one in his other relationships and victoire had been shyer in her other relationships but the roles are just reversed when they actually get together. and james being a horror movie freak is soooo real to me, he laughs at all the western films and only genuinely gets kicks out of asian horror movies. victoire with her maternal grandpa is so cute man, its canon to me now. and i have ALWAYS said this about teddy but he is the definition of “i know a guy.” he could get you any job, get you out of any situation ever, “everybody’s got a cousin who can hook you up with something” type. and charles bro 💀💀 yeah you’re so right nobody believed teddy when he said he mastered muay thai until he whipped out martial moves, or when he learnt tagalog when rooming with this old lady in the phillipines until he started rapping a song in it 😭 the only person who would believe him immediately with no questions asked is andromeda. hes so freaky, now he could tell people he was the first one to set foot on mars and everyone will be obligated to believe him.

MARAUDERS ERA GIRLS AND THE INSTRUMENTS THEY WOULD PLAY: (p1)

Lily: She would play the cello. Because she loved it since she was a little kid and when she finally got the money to get one she was so excited and happy she would not shut up about it for MONTHS.

Mary: She would love her acoustic guitar, take it everywhere it is acceptable to start playing. It was always in her car, and she painted some cute lilies on it for her Lily.

Marlene: Marlene tried starting her own band but it never worked out, because of that she had her beloved electric guitar, named Cas after her girlfriend. It was bright pink with a flame design.

Pandora: Pandora plays the harp. She loves the vibes and she has one she made mini to play some funny sound effects whenever she wants to. Her big harp in her house is amazing and seems magical and ethereal. She also knows how to play the piano but she doesn't really like it.

Dorcas: C'mon we all know she has a matching electric guitar with her girlfriend Marlene. The guitars name is Marls, and it's purple with a flame design, she barely uses it though, it's like Marlene's second guitar.

Emmeline: She can play a number of instruments and has all of them in her house, but her favourite one is the flute. The flute that she learnt from 4th grade muggle classes, and all she can remember is hot cross buns but she loves her flute so much she adores it.

Emma: She does not play an instrument, she would rather die. Literally. Once her mother tried to force her to learn the drums and she literally exploded. 💥💣🤯

Sybill: She plays like an insane amount of instruments that are cool & interesting. Omnichord, Otomatone, Nose flute, Clarinet, violin, name something and she probably plays it. She also has a mini version of every single instrument she plays. Once she had a prediction that her house was going to burn down so she carried all her instruments around mini, her house didn't burn down but her instruments were stuck small, so she bought new ones.

Narcissa: Piano. That's all she plays, she much rather prefers drawing, so she has drawing stuff everywhere, she painted and drew all over her grand piano, and she coloured all the keys (idk how it would work) and did cute patterns on them. All the A keys were coloured with Alice's favourite colour <3

Andromeda: Piano &

Bellatrix: The only instrument she knows is the piano, and that was by force (a lot of force). She hates playing the piano, but she knows how to. The piano in her house haunts her (it was a gift from her dad...), she never looks at it, it's covered up.

Alice: We all know that Alice loves her good old drum kit, she learnt ages ago and somehow still remembers it. She always plays for Naricssa, and she used to be in Marlene's 'band'. Thank god it never worked out because Alice hated playing in front of people.
