“If the next words out of your mouth are when you fell from heaven, I will cut your throat.”

Ezra gave the girl a grin, trying to ignore the cold metal pressed up against his neck. “I was gonna say, as the temperature of your bloodstream slowly lowered to a point that the human body could no longer maintain consciousness and you passed out from the cold. Because I’ve never actually manipulated the temperature of a living creature before, so, y’know, I'm just curious. For science purposes. By the way, you recovered really fast. I’m impressed.”

She shoved him a little harder against the floor, and the knife shifted closer.

“What are you?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know, murder girl?”

“Don’t call me that.”

It was an impatient snarl, and Ezra winced as the knife started to press against his throat.

“Okay,” he breathed, trying not to move. “Okay. You’re not the one we’re looking for, anyway.”

The pressure let up as she sat back, surprised. “I’m not?”

“Really. So, how about you get off me, and I don’t freeze you solid, and we talk this out like normal people?”

She thought for a minute, and then she stood up, still holding the knife at the ready. Ezra sat.

“So, where is she?” he asked without preamble.

“What?”

“Me and my handler are looking for a woman, age 20 to 30, trained assassin, spent fifteen years in the Black Widow program before vanishing. This is her house, so where is she?”

The girl exhaled sharply, the scowl never leaving her face. “You’re looking for an ex-Black Widow?”

“Apparently, she goes by Ingenue now.”

“SHIELD is sending little boys to look for assassins?”

Ezra cleared his throat and stood, brushing off the dust that had stuck to him from the unswept floor. “First of all, I resent being called a little boy, and second of all, I wasn’t sent. I snuck along, and Agent Kallus is totally gonna ground me.” He looked around. “But he might not ground me quite as much if I find Ingenue, sooo… like I was asking. Where is she?”

The girl stepped backwards a few paces, and then dropped into the only chair in the one-room apartment. “She’s here.”

“She is?”

“You’re looking at her.”

Ezra did some math. She was sixteen—maybe seventeen, if he was being generous. Fifteen years of training…

The girl—Ingenue—smiled grimly, flicking her sunset-orange hair out of her face.

“The Academy takes us as babies.”

The silence was slow and long and potent. Then she grinned coldly.

“But, this does mean that I really am the one you’re looking for, so I’m gonna have to kill you now. No hard feelings.”

She was fast, but Ezra was faster.

His hand closed around the knife as she flew forward and swung it at him, enclosing both his fist and the blade in a casing of ice.

With a jerk of his hand, he snapped the brittle blade off its handle, and her eyes grew huge.

Frankly, he hadn’t known he could do that, either.

They stared at each other in silent shock, and then Ezra got what some people like to call a Terrible Idea.

“This is totally hypothetical,” he blurted out. “But how attached are you to this assassin thing?”

You’ve actually got some down time. Command ordered it for a job well done. It’s ghost family movie night. What’s everyone’s fav snack? Who picks the show? Who hogs the couch and who sits on the floor? Have a cozy night and enjoy each others presence :)

*sighs and rolls eyes with a smile* of course it did. Well, mine’s meilooruns, obviously. Zeb, Ezra and Sabine eat space waffles, and Kanan uses it as an excuse to drink caf late at night. Which leaves him wide awake for hours. I share it with him, though. I’ll be up late into the night working anyway.

Kanan does his best to pick something that everyone wants to watch. If no one can agree, he and I step in and make an executive decision. We end up watching The Avengers, and we and the kids love it. It feels familiar in a lot of ways. There’s lots of laughing and cheering. Kanan tells me that Black Widow reminds him of me, but that he thinks I’m better. :) Sabine loves the explosions, and Zeb and Ezra love the banter. Chopper enjoys all of the violence.

Kanan and I offer to take the floor, but the kids put up such a fight that we give up and sit on the couch. Zeb and Ezra argue over who gets the last spot on the couch, and somehow they both wind up fitting, while Sabine immediately takes the floor instead of joining in on the competition.

Overall, it’s something we all really needed. The kids all end up falling asleep during our discussions after the movie, and Kanan and I stay up talking quietly and appreciating how peaceful they look. We have to power Chopper off to keep him from waking them up in the most painful ways he can think of. I forget to get any work done…and it’s nice.

l for lorelai gilmore ~ @lethalintelligence​ what an AMAZING raven !! i find myself getting sidetracked from doing my drafts when i see their threads with @kingfallen​ ( & really any of their threads ) on my dash. t100 fandom can feel a bit clique-ish at times but this is one writer that has always seemed so nice and welcoming from what i’ve seen on my dash ON TOP OF really great writing !

j for jamie moriarty ~ @jobikilled WHAT A SWEETHEART !!! not only did i scream about star wars at them before we’d really ever actually spoken lol but one of the first t100 interactions i had on this blog and look, jasper is such a troubled and complicated character with great character development and so !! much !! depth !! and they do such an amazing job at conveying that in their writing i just love it so much !!

n for nina ross ~ @nealonfire so i followed nadia on three blogs before realizing they were all written by the same person ( whoops ) BUT that’s a testament to her writing and portrayals of different characters. i love the interactions we’ve had so far ( even if sabine keeps trying to fry porgs…… ) and the mutual bond we have through giving bren a hard time on an almost daily basis. i look forward to much more in the future :D

t for triss merigold ~ @trickstercaptain i think i’ve been following lottie almost as long as jack’s blog has been in existence because wow A++ portrayal. i’m gonna tell a secret that’s not really a secret because i have a pirate verse for almost every character - i KIND of have a pirate obsession. but we just started writing together recently and i am SO EXCITED for the story to unfold between jack and nina !!

a for anne bonny ~ @anaxpraetor listen y’all, one day i’m going to kidnap and marry linds because reasons. but ANYWAY another one of the first people i ever shipped with in the indie world. she created this ouat verse for john and we quickly created this story between he and emma that was beautiful and heartbreaking and to this day is one of the most important stories of any of my characters. john is canon to my emma and always will be. and linds will always be one of my favorite people on this stupid site

r for rey ~ @relaxdcrling i feel like there are a lot of tvd/to muses on this list and I AM HERE FOR IT. kol is honestly one of my favorite characters. his volatile nature and sass was always something i enjoyed so much and their portrayal of him is so great ! we haven’t interacted very much ( yet ! ) but  i can’t wait to see more :D

o for octavia blake ~ @outlawiism we’ve written a bit on my black widow blog but despite being an amazing peter quill i just want to say that anytime a mun spreads positivity regularly it is SO NICE TO WITNESS and this particular writer seems to be constantly trying to be positive and kind to other people in the community. like honestly an inspiration. and of course ON TOP OF THAT what a GREAT starlord!!!

b for betty cooper ~ @bigbwvlf we’ve been writing off and on through a couple of different blogs of mine and i absolutely ADORE their bigby. first of all, i hadn’t been really familiar with fables until a couple of years back but after i played the telltale game i started reading the graphic novels and i really enjoy the stories. and likewise, i REALLY enjoy their portrayal ! i’m super psyched to see how the sort of strained relationship between bigby and triss develops !!

THERE! I SAID IT!

But besides that entire fucking catalog, I find myself and the rest of the female population well under-represented.....Except of course for the huge fucking roster of female characters available.

akumatized marinette design + story figured i might as well post this now because i forgot to yesterday (or 2 days ago)

this is an angsty akumatized marinette au with a bad(ish) ending based on how you interpret it i just wanted to draw the spider bun but i came up with a whole backstory as well because why not? once again, i'm not a writer so sorry if my ideas are all over the place

few ideas i had in mind for this story about miraculous users getting akumatized/akumatizing in general: -the akuma is instinctively drawn towards very high sources of magic, even if hawkmoth intended them to go somewhere else -akuma victims are usually twisted forms of themselves but are still the same person. hawkmoth suggests them to do things, and can use pain to control them, but with an infected miraculous it is much harder to control the victim and he isn't strong enough to hurt them remotely if the miraculous ranks above his -other stuff i'll reveal as i go along

the events leading up to marinettes akumatization go something like this: (didnt really wanna come up with anything that sounds too shallow) -maybe like marinette's dad falls into a coma -sabine and marinette being forced to work overtime to make up for it -marinette getting yelled at by her mom because she sneaks out a lot to do ladybug stuff the stress from all this causes her to get akumatized. hawkmoth feels a familiar energy when he akumatizes marinette but can't quite place it

marinette turns into widow (wanted red widow but turns out thats actually a thing) her powers include: -arms on her waist that help her crawl around on walls and jump really far -talking to spiders telepathically -creating webs from her fingers -venomous bite

i looked it up and black widow bites aren't even fatal most of the time so i've been living in fear for nothing this is a human sized venom injection so obviously itll be deadlier

rest of the story in point form will put it under readmore because it looks like its gonna get long

-plagg starts to act very depressed and adrien transforms into chat when he refuses to speak -he fights widow and recognizes her as marinette because her mom saw her and phoned alya to send out a warning over the ladyblog -plagg starts talking into adriens mind when stalling for ladybug to get in isnt working -meanwhile widow and hawkmoth are constantly arguing because his control over her is very weak and she can't control her temper -widow manages to string up chat and bites through his armour to inject venom into his arm and tells him she won't give him the antivenom unless he takes off the miraculous (because its magically stopping her from just taking it or something, thats why lady wifi couldnt just take the earrings off ladybug) -hawkmoth and widow get into a big argument over the venom injecting because it might kill him before ladybug arrives and widow doesn't want that (akuma and miraculous merging is causing some kind of magical interference with her memories so she doesnt remember she is ladybug) -chat manages to escape from the web while theyre distracted and makes his way to some alley where he collapses behind a dumpster -plagg tells him he has to cataclysm the venom out of his bloodstream before its too late because ladybug won't be able to fix it or anything ever again -chat destroys his arm which was too damaged to save and destroys all of the venom -plagg and adrien manage to get to a hospital which is luckily 2 blocks away, adrien collapses in the lobby due to high fever and bloodloss -few days pass while adrien is stabilized in the hospital -plagg tells him his father came to visit and was muttering "i did this" (surprise, gabes hawkmoth in this) -plagg also tells him that tikki is gone forever, and marinette is ladybug since it doesn't matter anymore -he finds out there was a big battle and a whole tower got destroyed (or whatever the hell hawkmoths lair is in)

2 days ago -widow hears about adrien agreste being found with only one arm and puts 2 and 2 together (and so did gabe) -the shock of realizing chat was adrien causes hawkmoth to lose all control over her and she starts to get her memories back but she still can't control her anger -she heads to hawkmoths lair which she found using her spiders and beats him up -during the fight hawkmoth finally realizes why akumatizing marinette felt so familiar and realizes she is ladybug -hawkmoth escapes but loses the will to go on since the creation miraculous is gone -hawkmoth's tragic backstory is revealed: he accidentally akumatized his wife's miraculous many years ago (because the akumas are drawn to magic) and turned her into a giant bird monster he keeps locked under his lair. he thought using the combined powers of the ring and earrings would allow him to fix it but what's the point because he just killed creation. -hawkgabe walks into the birdcage and birdmom (who went crazy from being locked away for all these years) breaks through the bars and eats him -adrien escapes the hospital and transforms into chat -widow and chat team up to destroy the birdmom who just escaped and is trying to destroy paris after combining with the butterfly and peacock miraculouses and adriens parents (golden sun, anyone?) -adrien realizes what hes fighting but has no choice after widow almost dies trying to protect him -why do i use apostrophes in some words that have them but not all of them -fu shows up after the battle is over and collects the butterfly and peacock miraculouses -plagg tells adrien that the only way to get tikki back is for marinette to die and that she will be back eventually. hes gone thousands of years without seeing her so what's a few more -tom wakes up from his coma and hes like wtf -mariwidow decides to live like a hermit on the outskirts of paris in case anything ever threatens it again -she cant risk her temper rising and accidentally hurting civilians -her family and chat visit her on occasion -chat carries around a lot of antivenom -the end

notes: so basically the idea i had was that once an akuma touches a miraculous it gets infected and they permanently become an akuma unless you somehow manage to break the infected miraculous (which would throw the universe out of balance, plus theyre pretty indestructable) marinette is pretty much stuck in her dumb costume and calls herself the widow but once she's out of hawkmoths influence she acts the same way as usual but with a more dangerous anger problem. gabe walking into the birdcage in his state was pretty much a suicide so that he doesnt infect adriens miraculous too. people eventually realize that adrien is chat because of the one arm thing but they assume ladybug died in the fight with hawkmoth or something (alternatively plagg can give chat some kinda fake magic arm while transformed) adrien ends up with -1 arm. -2 parents, +1 spider gf the first draft of this story i did didn't have hawkmoth as gabriel, and it pretty much went like adrien rejects marinette widow kills chat realizes its adrien then she kills hawkmoth, but i heard someone say 2017 is be nice to adrien year and i figured why not do the opposite. just killing him wouldn't be too much suffering so instead he kills his parents once again, theyre aged up a bit to like late teens
