A thief, a slave, a conwoman, a pirate, a lady and a drunk walk into a bar…

This is the start to my WIP.

Releasing Hawks.

The best way I can describe it is an adventure fantasy novel with dark undertones and a comedic feel, similar to Pratchett, Tahir, Scalzi, etc. mix of dark fantasy and high fantasy

Plot -

The far-off land of Usala used to be a haven for creatures of myth and lore. Now they have died out, and the humans vow not to follow their mistakes. Then, a theft from the hallowed archives shocks the lawful and the corrupt into action, starting a hunt across the wide and dangerous landscape.

At the very same time, a slave escapes his captors in search of a safe haven. At the crossroads, he finds the thief and the chaos that follows her from bounty hunters to wild beasts. But there is a secret the thief has uncovered, one too magnanimous to ignore. as the party grows so do their chances of exposing the truth...as the chances of survival dwindle further than ever before.
