aziraphale’s eyes in this scene utterly destroy me but let me draw your attention to his mouth

i noticed before that michael has a tiny dimple in the right corner of his mouth when he smiles. if you look closely you can see its shadow here. it’s a flash, blink and you’ll miss it moment but i can’t unsee it

so while he’s upset and devastated, there is the tiniest inkling of a smile almost as if his subconsciousness is jumping for joy over the kiss and realization that crowley loves him!

the very next thing he does is touch his lips in a way acknowledging this powerful wave of conflicting emotions…

real talk i actually do put like. an unreasonable amount of effort into my textpost memes behind the scenes so it's actually really rewarding to get to share them thanks for putting up with my antics

#zanna talks #like first off i'm always doing my best to make sure they are not only in character but actually over a frame that makes SENSE in context #(many of my memes are incredibly situationally specific bc of this)#but on top of that i want them all to be consistently formatted so i have to track down the og textpost to get my own screenshot if #the one i have on hand is too low quality/weirdly formatted/in one of the tumblr color palettes other than classic #which adds a lot of extra work. but i want them to be nice and consistent and i want ppl to be able to screenshot the textpost for their #OWN textpost memes and have it look nice bc how i started out was by doing that and it's HARD to find non-crunchy ones sometimes #and THEN i have all the extra work of getting 1080p screenshots (forgive me. some are 720p and you can TELL. my wifi is bad) which #(bc of bad wifi) takes HOURS. and then i have to format them all so they're the same pixel ratio without weird white lines anywhere.#and THEN i have to put the textpost on top and arrange it so it looks nice graphically #and THEN i have to arrange them all in sets in chronological order but without too many from one movie or scene or of one character #(this is bc i am a freak)#so like. by the time u see these things i have put HOURS of work and careful consideration and curation into them #i do not do this lightly im deeply unwell #so yeah um. this has been a Post. explaining my unhinged process.#did i mention ive made over 200 for narnia hahahhahahah anyway #(and yes the fact that the tumnus one i made is on dark mode means i spent A FULL HOUR trying to find the og or a different screenshot #and could not and that KILLS ME.)

My completely uneducated guess regarding Wanru's Journey after the first 6 episodes.

We have a choppy chop chop drama that was shot in 2021 off the shelves here because The Blood of Youth was a hit and people want more of the leads (why we got Wulin Heroes) and IQIYI had this. And it is a romp.

Knowing nothing about the source material my completely uneducated guess on this drama is that it is the censored story about a novelist transmigrating into her own story while also forgetting her own lore in the process and hooking up with the leads.

A) FL first thinks she is the villain and later that she has a guest appearance. Translation issue or a hint at a deleted beginning of the drama when she transmigrates?

B) FL is writing novels about the two MLs when we meet her (and before she met them) in Jianghu. The MLs are sworn brothers and the sons of two big martial arts clans. It is never said explicitly that she is writing danmei could just be regular wuxia but yeah, she is probably writing danmei

C) Apart from writing novels about them, FL is drawing art of the two ML to be copied and also sold. Like she drew them watching the fireworks together at ML's birthday party. The fireworks 2ML organized. (and FL watched them watching and went aaw)

D) The sworn brothers have lovely bro dates at ~their secret place. Or not so secret because FL stumbles upon them and enjoys the scene.

E) yes there is sparring on a boat.

F) ML is annoyed/jealous when FL goes to hang out with her fiance 2ML. Not because he is into her (yet) but because he wants 2ML all to himself.

All subtext of course!! (well apart from the illustrations and novels, mwahaha)

FL is a hoot, ML hilariously faints out of rage at one point, 2ML is only goody two shoes on the surface, so yes, this is a romp and if you're into wuxia and don't mind choppiness, give it a shot. Oh and city lord from Tiger and Rose is ML's mother and can kick your ass.

I'M BACK FOR MORE THEORIES!!!!!!

So, I have been thinking about the scene where they are at the Lakehouse, in the forest leaning up against that tree. And again, my ADHD is working overtime here so it's going to get messy. But, just hear me out.

It has to be their first day there, they would want to have a moment alone since they haven't had a second alone since Alex and Nora went to pick Henry and Percy up. And technically, Alex hasn't told his dad about them yet and Henry I'm sure still wants to have some semblance of safety even though he is with friends and i'm sure the security that has signed NDA's.

Here are some low quality screenshots I grabbed to show my theory of why I think this is the same day.

As you can see Alex is wearing the white V-Neck shirt, yes i'm sure he has tons of these but its for the theory. Also if you notice on the jeans on his knee he has a very distinctive white faded mark on them.

I'm sorry I could not get a better picture of them leaning up against the tree from far away, but you can see Alex's outfit. And the white marking on the knee. And obviously, Henry showed up in some fancy outfit, so he was going to change into something that is more comfortable. I'm sure Alex suggested he wanted to show him around the property, which is just code for I want to get away from people so I can kiss my freaking "casual" boyfriend

When they do get alone, maybe Henry was still just a little bit hesitant about how much affection he should display when there might be people around? So he needed to just close his eyes and just trust Alex, because if he opens them he doesn't want to be looking over his shoulder looking for anyone, he just wants to focus on Alex.

And Alex, sweet, caring, loving Alex, reassures Henry by saying "It's just you and me." And he can barely finish before Henry reaches in and kisses him.

Again, I went on a rampage with this post when all I really wanted to get across was that I think that what Alex says in the gif.
