break-up, make-up.
song : post break-up sex
warnings : fem!reader, porn with some plot, smut, unprotected piv, make-up sex, lip being needy, mentions of alcohol and smoking (tobacco), reader has scumbag friends, sad pathetic banging, intentional lowercase. (lip and reader are 18.)
word count: 3,707
authors note: this is only like my 2nd time writing smut.......
your abdomen felt cold pressed against the marble of your bathroom counter. pulling at the skin of your face, running your fingers through your messy hair, and picking yourself apart in the mirror that doubled as a medicine cabinet. you didn't feel like yourself. you swung the cabinet open, reaching for a hard candy eyeshadow pallet, a black eye pencil so old the label had rubbed off, and a mauve-brownish lip liner.
your phone buzzed against your pocket. you groaned, dropping your products into the sink before snatching it from the depths of your jeans.
773-642-3719: party @ ashleys 2night. u coming? 2:36pm.
it must've been karina. ever since you gave her your number on your break during your waitressing shift at patsy's, she'd been trying to drag you out of the house. you couldn't blame her. mopey from your breakup, picking up as many hours as possible, spending your free time collecting coupons for shopping sprees you'd never go on to spend money you didn't have, she was sick of you ruining the atmosphere everywhere you went.
or, wherever you didn't go, more accurately.
"he's just a guy. just—go fuck someone else! who cares if he's a dick just like him. focus on the task at hand: getting laid," she told you, licking strawberry jam from the tip of her middle finger.
"i'm just gonna miss him more," you sighed, watching the clock tick as your 15 minutes of what was supposed to be relaxing free time, was going to waste.
"*** ******** is not some kind of sex god, okay? the sex was good. you can find good sex anywhere."
"whatever."
he was more than that. he was more than the sex. he was the kisses in the early mornings where you'd wake up with him in your sheets. he was the whispers of 'you're so beautiful,' and 'i love you,' whenever you doubted yourself. he was the shitty jokes and late night walks, splitting cigarettes and dabbling in gossip. he was your best friend.
but he was also the hands that slammed your bedroom door. he was also the alcohol on his breath. he was also the words that told you to 'get your shit together.' he was also the broken promises he could never keep.
but he was more than anything karina saw him as.
i'll be there :) 2:38pm.
773-642-3719: bring some1 cute with u! 2:40pm.
you stared blankly at her text.
👍 2:42pm.
bring someone with me? who the hell would i bring? daniel's working tonight. and he's not cute. well—he's not ugly, but...no. stop. just drop it. you don't need to bring a guy with you. jesus. you don't need anyone. relax.
i'm here. 12:37am.
you knocked about 3 times before a lanky, raven haired boy with puke all over his title fight t-shirt swung the door open. you looked past his shoulder to see a group of familiar faces behind him.
"please tell me that's not h—" a short blonde girl groaned before a redhead, eliza, butted in.
"there she is!" she yelled, calling karina over.
the warm glow of the living room complimented the post-punk rock that rang through the poster filled walls of ashley's house. you were met with waves from your friends. karina beamed and quickly made her way over to the front door to greet you. her chunky sandals boomed against the hardwood floor, her red solo cup nearly falling out of her hand.
"you made it!" she smiled, taking your hand and dragging you into the makeshift frat house, slamming the front door behind you. the atmosphere was uncomfortably warm. probably due to everyone sweating their asses off from drunkenly dancing and grinding on each other.
"uh, yeah—i'm kinda late. sorry."
"fashionably late," she corrected you as you followed her through dozens of other girls and into the kitchen.
you analyzed the space. you knew a couple people here, either from work or highschool, since it was the summer after senior graduation, but there were plenty of girls and guys you'd never seen in your life. for the first time in months, meeting new people was sickening. immediately reaching for the bottle of tito's to help ease your mind, eliza stopped you. she furrowed her strawberry blonde eyebrows at you, shaking her head.
"uh-uh. you're the designated driver, sweetie. we can't have you drunk, too!"
your mouth gaped open in disbelief. were you seriously dragged here just to play babysitter?
"but there's plenty else to do," karina peaked her head out of the kitchen and eyeing a couple of her friends that resided on the couch, beer bottles in hand. you couldn't help but turn your head to look, too.
"mikey's got weed," she pointed to a shirtless brunette, "and i think destiny brought some—fuckin, i don't know, xanax to cool your nerves."
you nodded, lips pulled tight in a painfully neutral expression that read 'okay' and 'fuck you i hope you break every bone in your body and live your life as a spiritless vegetable,' at the same time. your arms were crossed against your chest, your body pretty much caving in at the amount of sheer embarrassment that coursed through you.
"since you're, y'know, kinda losing it," eliza wiped the corner of her mouth where whiskey-soda had been dripping from it, pointing her finger at you. her messy red nail polish on healthy long nails taunted you.
you felt like a wad of pink chewing gum: slammed between teeth and tongue just to be spit out and drenched in spit. but you weren't useless enough to be thrown away. just stuck under a table for some gross, unsanitary bitch to pick it up again and stick it right back in her gossipy mouth. cursing yourself for being here, you stormed out of the kitchen and made your way toward the back porch.
if you left, you'd be a prude. but if you stayed and drank, kissing strangers and making up stories filled with little white lies, you'd be deemed a slut for the rest of the summer. your last choice was to stick around, being that annoying girl who smoked cigarettes outside of the party to freak people out.
and so, you did. you hung around outside, watching people come in and out. occasionally, someone would stop to ask if you were alright, if you wanted a drink, or just someone to talk to. you politely declined every time. almost like you were waiting for some other opportunity to spring up in front of you.
"hey," a voice behind you rasped.
it startled you. it was painfully familiar. so much it made your heart drop to your empty stomach. you turned yourself around, eyes met with blue orbs that stared directly into you.
there he was. lip. your lip.
except he wasn't yours. not here. not now. possibly not ever.
"oh, you've got to be fucking kidding me, gallagher."
your hands grabbed onto the wooden railing of the porch steps. hoisting yourself up, you brushed off any dirt that smeared onto your dark blue jeans. your eyes were glued to the ground as you tried to swiftly move past him the moment you could stand up.
"no, c'mon—" he pleaded, rolling his eyes and following you back into the house. he hadn't had a sip of booze. for once, his mind was completely in the clear.
eliza and karina sat on the kitchen counter, their shoulders pressed together while shared a beer bottle, possibly their 6th or 7th of the night. you seriously wondered what they even talked about. they didn't have much in common other than the fact that they both liked reeking havoc on innocent people. and you.
"did one of you fucking invite him?" you spat, stepping just a foot away from the two of them snatching the beer bottle from karina's hand, you held it tightly in your fist, your fingertips turning pink at the brute force.
"lip? yeah, i did! wait, did you guys break up, or something?" eliza laughed, twirling a red curl around her finger while she gave an obnoxious wave to lip as he stood behind you. he bit the inside of his cheek, his hands stuffed deep into his pockets and balled into enraged fists.
your jaw had been nailed to the floor at this point. karina looked down at the ground in shame. she didn't care about your 'healing' or 'getting laid.' all she cared about was stirring shit. it was such a middle school stunt for a 19 year old girl to pull. finally snapping, you slammed the beer bottle onto the ground, watching it shatter into a million pieces. clenching your teeth, you looked back up to see the disturbed expressions on your 'friends' faces. they weren't allowed to make this decision for you. you would decide if and when you were ready to act like a normal fucking person around lip.
a boyfriend wasn't the only thing you lost. you lost a friend, a piece of yourself.
hot tears pricked at your waterline. you spun back around and darted towards the front door. shoving through people, your hands grabbing onto their arms and not-so-gently moving them out of your path. you could feel lip's footsteps behind you, his pathetic whines calling out for your name; calling out for his friend ex-girlfriend.
"hey, would you just fucking talk to me? please?"
you finally stopped, taking a deep breath and letting the salty tears that streamed down your face smudge your mascara before turning to face him. the angry knit of his brows from earlier was gone. his face relaxed, a breath of relief escaping his mouth when he could finally just look at you. he took in the sight of your tears, your swollen lips, your shoulders that tensed under your jacket, the way your jaw trembled when you cried.
"i don't wanna talk," you muttered as you shook your head, "i just—i don't wanna talk here. can we go upstairs, or something?"
you stared back, half of your bottom lip barred behind your teeth, analyzing every inch of him. the way his hair that ended at the middle of his ear had grown a bit too thick, the line that formed between his chin and his lower lip when he frowned, his short eyebrows, how prominent his philtrum was, and his blue eyes that caught your attention the day you met in 10th grade chemistry. you missed the way the top row of his small teeth would beam whenever he laughed.
"yeah," lip nodded, "we don't have to be down here, alright? c'mon," he reached for your hand, tilting his head as he tried to stare into you.
you worried about forgetting the feeling of his hands gently caressing your face, rubbing your back when he held you close, twirling your hair around his fingers, when his palms would indent the plush of your thighs, or when he'd grab onto your waist when you kissed him.
there was no way you'd ever forget now.
"jesus, lip—" you huffed through open-mouthed kisses, your fingertips digging into the flesh of his shoulders. the cold wall against your warm back made you shiver once he tore your shirt off from over your head, along with the jacket he zipped down and gently slipped it off from your arms as he trailed kisses from your jawline to your collarbones.
in the most needy, starved way possible, you tugged at his cotton t-shirt. almost as if he'd read your mind, despite him being on a completely different planet, he pulled away from your mouth and peeled his grey t-shirt off with the same hands that rubbed those fucking circles against your hips the way he always did when he kissed you again.
some things just never changed.
your fingertips pressed against his bare abdomen until they made their way up to his chest. you missed seeing that little triangle tattoo that tyler gave him in the school bathroom. kissing it, tracing your fingernails around the perimeter, occasionally biting and soothing the mark with your lips.
"fuck this stupid party," he scoffed, his hand getting a hold of your chin and tilting your head back up to face him. you looked into him through your lashes, lids low with desire. the look in your eyes ruined him.
"yeah. fuck it."
you glanced at his lips and back into his eyes, just for him to smash his mouth into yours again. it was a mess of teeth and tongue while you entangled your hands in his hair.
"shit—" lip detached himself from your mouth to fill his lungs with hair that smelled like your perfume and sex.
his hands cradled your face so gently it was like you'd break if he ever dared to let go. your hands moved over the groves of his arms and up to his shoulders over and over again, the feeling of soft, supple skin never getting old.
"c'mere, pretty girl," lip breathed against your ear, his hand wrapping your neck gently.
he desperately began sucking and biting the tender skin, coming back to comfort it with pecks and blows of fast, cool air. tuffs of curly blonde hair tickled your jawline every time. his veiny hands roamed down the sides of your torso, never traveling up, until you tried removing your bra yourself. lip shook his head, removing his hands from your hips and reaching behind you to unclip the uncomfortable fabric while you clung to his shoulders for support.
"lip—" you protested, slowly growing impatient.
"i got it, baby," he whispered, kissing your shoulder before carefully slipping the straps over your shoulders and off of your body. that pet name hadn't bounced off of his tongue and rang through your ears in weeks.
once he tossed the bra to the floor, your body relaxed as lip backed away just an inch or two to admire you. he smiled, teeth and all. maybe he really did miss you. your hands rested on his shoulders, slowly backing him up towards the bed of the guest room.
funny. you swore what you and lip had was more than the sex. and it was. you weren't lying about that. but my god, the crave for his skin against yours was unbearable. flashes of your hookups projected over your head. the moans that erupted from you while you tugged on his blonde curls for dear life as he pounded into your weeping cunt—you missed all of it.
"i can't believe you even showed up here," you muttered, using the pads of your fingertips to shove lip onto the soft mattress, silk sheets feeling cold against his back. he glared at you through furrowed brows, propping himself up on his elbows. but his expression softened when he saw you unbuttoning your jeans, zipping the fly down and hastily kicking them off.
"me? you—" he let out a shaky breath, gnawing at the inside of his mouth and sitting up right, "you haven't been out of the house for days."
he stared down at the white lacy underwear you wore, fighting the urge to get up and tear them down your ass until they fell at your ankles.
"and how the hell would you know that?"
you raised your eyebrows, signaling to lip to fall back again so you could reveal the aching bulge in his pants. that same bright smile of excitement made your stomach stir as you were unbuttoning and unzipping the denim that imprisoned his cock.
"been spyin' on you a little bit," he joked, but he wasn't totally kidding. for the past week and a half, he'd been taking 'shortcuts' to get to any destination just so he could briefly stop in front of your place. just to see if you'd ever come out and coincidentally run into him. he even started going to your usual hangout spots to see if you'd turn up.
but you never did. him even going to this party was solely based on the off chance that you might've been here. possibly with a new guy. but you weren't. you were alone. just like he often was.
"how sweet," you teased, tracing the tattoo on his chest. caving into your urges, you tilted your head lower to pet it with a kiss, your eyes closed before trailing your lips back up to his own. he huffed through his nose, laughing at your gesture. it was cute. you were cute. lips hands moved down to your hips, his fingers slipping underneath the waist band of your panties. that little puddle of arousal shining through the white fabric of your thong only egged lip on. he looked into your eyes for permission, not wasting any time to help you remove them the moment you nodded your head.
letting him pull them down the plush of your thighs, you turned just enough where you could slip them past your calf's where they pooled at your feet before finally slipping off onto the floor. a delicate hand reached to pull down the fabric of his boxers, his leaking, pink tip practically making you drool the moment his cock sprung out. the heat and humidity of the room making the thick vein down the side of his length twitch just the slightest. you felt a yearning heat build up in your core as you wiggled your hips closer.
"now," you reached between your thighs to coil your fingers round lip's hardening cock, "i need you to fuck me like you haven't gotten laid in a thousand years."
"that's pretty much what it's felt like." lip mumbled so quietly you barely caught it. he looked up at you, his hand brushing a strand of hair behind your ear before he used his thumb to caress your cheek.
"wait, you—you haven't been with anyone else?"
lip paused, realizing he admitted to not seeing a single other person since you broke up. it almost surprised you that you weren't the only one who was sex deprived.
"fuck would that do? bring you back?" he tried to laugh, accidentally gasping at the feeling of your wet cunt brushing past his throbbing dick. you noticed this, smiling back at him and slowly trying to position yourself perfectly.
"well, you have me now."
those words were all it took. with one swift motion, lip finally caught a grip on the fat of your hips, guiding you gently down his cock, your wetness making a makeshift lubricant.
"always so fuckin' wet for me," lip praised, smiling at the sight of how easily he filled you up to the brim of your cervix. watching your face contort from slight discomfort and into full bliss was his fucking kryptonite. you gasped, the immediate stuffed feeling hitting your stomach. lip winced at the tight sensation, already cursing under his raspy breath and whispering incoherent praises. "so—so fuckin' tigh...fu–ck" you gave him some time to adjust, propping your hands behind you so you could grind against him just right.
lip began rolling your hips back and forth, wet sounds of sex filling up the room. whimpers of "fuck, yes lip," and "just like that," only made his sexual frustration worse.
"'missed you so fuckin' much, baby. shit—you make me feel amazing. so, so fuckin' good." his hands dig deeper into your hips, making their way to your ass to squeeze and occasionally slap the flesh. you flinched with a moan, his dick hitting your gummy walls at a slightly different angle each time.
"m—fuck, missed you too, lip. you have no idea," your lungs begged for air, your tits bouncing slightly at the constant movement of your hips as you chased your high. you looked down at him, tears of arousal filling up your hooded eyes. lip marveled at the sight of your pleasure, inching closer and closer to cumming inside of you right then and there—but he had to savor this. grunting
how could he have waited this long to make amends with you? his groans felt like they practically echoed and bounced off of the walls. he needed to focus on your needs tonight. he pried between your crotchets, pressing his thumb against your clit and rubbing sloppy, rough circles against the bundle of nerves.
"slower, hun," you cooed, moving up and down his cock to keep his tip pounding right into your g-spot every time. the idea of staying quiet had never been this hard—but the music and shouting from downstairs was bound to cover for the two of you. lip nodded his head, slowing down his pace and gently grinding his hips into yours as his thumb remained at work.
after the few moments of pure bliss, moans and cries of lip's name coming from you that he wished would last an eternity, he felt the knot in his stomach tighten. similarly, you started forcefully catching your breath as you stared up at the ceiling. your head went foggy, every word that fell out of your mouth turning into messy gibberish. lip could tell you were close, but he wasn't quite ready to give up.
"i don't think i'm gonna last any longer," lip clenched his teeth, his hand aching from prioritizing your pleasure while his thrusts became sloppier and sloppier. he'd been fucked out without even finishing a single time.
"me neither—"
desperately trying to get a hold of yourself, your body gave out. your thighs began to shake, your cunt contracting. trying to muffle your shrieks, you cupped a hand over your saliva-slick mouth. your hips moved as fast as you could ever dreamed was possible, forcing you to grab onto lip's shoulder blades for support. lip could literally see his dick rolling up and down your stomach as he moaned your name, his eyes screwed shut. finally, just at the very last second, he took every bit of strength left in his body to flip you over, your back pressed against the sheets while you reached your climax. he pulled out with a groan, white ropes of sticky cum coating your lower stomach and the space right under your tits.
makeup sex was not how you envisioned this night would go. but how could you complain?

Saw this and thought... Mafia AU Gojo & Geto 👀
Share a piece of your juicy brain thoughts please, I'm collecting all the scraps 😗
PRETTY THING LIKE YOU.
𝐆. 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐔 — 五条悟 ⋅ 𝐆. 𝐒𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐑𝐔 — 夏油傑
NOTE: OH TO BE IN THAT CAR 🛐 anyways, these are just... messy ideas pls forgive me!! 🥲 idk how to write for mafia stuff but i adore the idea sm i wanted to say a lil smth about it
WARNINGS — fem reader, you're Toji's daughter, err mafia stuff warning idk?? implied kidnapping, implied light use of violence, Geto calling u nicknames (sweetheart, baby, etc), i made Gojo a meanie for some reason oops, some vague semblance of a plotline lol
Your dad is Toji Fushiguro, he sits on a big throne in this business. Everyone knows him, everyone's scared of him — why wouldn't they be? Except for these two particular men... who consider themselves the strongest 🙄 Big, big severely inflated egos they've got.
Toji hired Nanami to be the loyal bodyguard for his precious daughter. Why? Well, to put it simply — these two men are looking to take revenge on him with you as their playing card.
Geto and Gojo are on the hunt one night for you, and you fall right into their palms. Usually the black car with tinted windows has Nanami behind the wheel, ready to drive you home after a night out. But one night it's those two.
The drive is silent and uneasy. Gojo is flicking his gaze up at the rearview mirror to check you out with those piercing blue eyes of his. Geto is talking to you in a sickeningly saccharine sultry voice, nicknaming you sweetheart, princess, love, baby, etc... and trying his best to keep you calm with simple small-talk.
Gojo? He's more intimidating than his friend behind the wheel. He will not stop eyeing you out, even when you three end up in some fancy penthouse. You blink up at him innocently, it almost makes his heart lurch — he's wondering how such a pretty face came from such a bastard.
Whatever Toji did to them in the past, they were still seething over. Seems their idea of a revenge plot involved you. But you had no idea what to expect. They didn't have intent to hurt you — well, subtract Gojo pulling and pushing you around like a ragdoll when you weren't compliant enough. But Geto always scolded him.
In fact, Geto calmed the both of you so nicely. He put on water to boil and languidly stirred tea in the kitchen. It was surreal and bizarre in some way.
"Sweetheart, we're gonna be transparent with you. We're just keeping you here for a little while to get your dad's attention. You're gonna be treated like a princess, so don't you worry — " he lifted you by the chin so you had to look up at him, "A pretty thing like you isn't in trouble with us."
Gojo scoffed. He had his arms folded. Legs crossed. Spine slacked against the couch.
"Don't mind him, princess. He's just grumpy — your old man wasn't very kind to him in his youth." Geto explained super vaguely.
Gojo chuckled, "Yeah, you're damn right he wasn't kind to me. Sonofabitch wasted me."
"Well she had nothing to do with that, Satoru, so treat her good."
He grumbled in reluctant agreement. But the second Geto was out of sight, when Gojo led you to your bedroom, he entrapped you between two arms and practically pinned you to the wall.
"Listen — princess — " he mockingly impersonated Geto, "You keep those lips shut or I will shut them for you." he threatened, breathe fanning your face.
Well, it was hard to keep your lips shut. A week later, you woke up and went into the kitchen to find Gojo with a bloodstain in his white hair, Geto with a crimson splatter across his cheek, and a gun resting on the table that towered with green stacks of money. You didn't dare ask what was going on. You just looked at them until they said something from themselves.
"Don't worry." Geto's serene smile caught your worried gaze, "Just business, angel."
"What exactly-" you began, but Gojo gave you a sharp look and Geto immediately cut you off.
" — ah-ah, baby. We've already talked about this." he cooed. His smile had the vaguest sinister twist to it, "Keep that pretty mouth shut. No asking questions."

frat boy lip finding out that some new cocky, asshole freshman are being mean to other girls, let alone you oh it’s so over for them lip’s already got his foot on their neck (metaphorically or literally—depends on the situation tbh…)
obsessed w/ lip being so so protective over his little clingy crybaby gf ugh I need him to [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] no warnings, just some crying and a little bit of angry lip at the end!
when you step into lip's room with tearful eyes and mascara tracking down your rosy cheeks, he doesn't waste a second in scooping you up into bed with him. between situating you in his lap and kissing your wet cheeks he whispers; "who." not a question, a demand. "who the fuck made y'cry, baby? 'cause they're gonna regret it."
you inhale in a pitiful little sniffle and press your face against the firm muscle of his chest, shaking your head. "jus' some dick i-in the student center. h-he called my dress ugly!" you exclaim.
"the dress i bought ya? this gorgeous dress?" he asks, playing with the soft fabric of the skirt. he ruches it up past your thighs, letting it fall gently back over the swell of your ass. one firm hand rests there, the other cupping your jaw. "you think i would spend my hard earned money on an ugly dress? hm? dry the tears, sweet girl."
a wet laugh escapes your lips and an indescribable swell rushes over your poor, tormented heart. "no, y'wouldn't," you admit in a mumble as you wipe the remaining tears from under your eyes.
"good girl," he praises, scattering kisses all over your face in an attempt to hear that precious laugh of yours again. "so fuckin' sexy, this 's'ya color. he's jus' jealous, mad that y'so far outta his league. lemme show you, yeah?"
the worries slip from your mind in tandem with his hand slipping under your dress, and by that night you've forgotten all about it.
you don't remember the interaction until a few days later. you're seated on the half wall outside lip's frat house, a grin on your lips as you play bouncer alongside him. a loud, rude voice catches your attention and you shudder, pointing with the cig in your hand to a group of guys approaching the party. "lip, there! the one in the middle, that's the asshole from the student center."
lip gets a shit eating grin on his face and plucks the cig from your fingers, pushing off his spot on the wall. "y'want me to kick his ass, baby?" he kisses your cheek, not even waiting for a response before he marches up to the boy. "hey! who the fuck do y'think you are, huh?"
you hear the boy slur out some drunken excuse, his friends scattering towards another party nearby. it doesn't take long for him to swing at lip, at which you hear a hearty laugh rise from your boyfriend's chest. he catches the punch, twisting the boy's arm behind his back before leaning in towards his ear. you can't make out what lip says to him, but whatever it is does the trick because he ends up nodding solemnly. the pained grimace on his face is a laughable contrast against lip's cocky smirk as he walks the boy up towards you.
"what d'ya fuckin' say t'her, hm?" lip demands, stopping right in front of you. the boy is silent until lip twists his arm harder, drawing out a pained yelp. "i said, what the fuck d'ya say to her? or do i need to remind you."
"no, no! jesus, fine" the boy slurs, directing his gaze to you. "y'very pretty."
lip kicks his heel, not hard enough to knock it from under him, but just enough to hinder his balance. he pulls his cigarette from his lips, exhaling the smoke before demanding, "what did i say about respect."
"you are very pretty, ma'am," he repeats, pursing his lips before the next statement. "an' i'm a little bitch, w-with a littler dick."
you turn your gaze to lip, refusing to address the boy. "you can let him go, i guess," you tell him with a smile, and laugh when the boy stumbles.
"i don' wanna see you around here again, y'hear me?" lip calls out, flicking the ashes of his cigarette at the boy's retreating form.

The excitement of October’s conclusion was in the air, and the joys of getting to celebrate what you hoped would be the first of many holidays with Javi was at the forefront of your mind. While the end of summer meant school was here and your carefree days were gone until next June, October meant it was time for one of your favorite holidays- Halloween. It was one of your most cherished things to celebrate as a kid, and even still as an adult. The memories of jumping into leaf piles off your swingset with your brothers, dressing up in goofy, homemade costumes to trick-or-treat (because your mom was not about to buy 4 new sets of costumes every single year), carving pumpkins, and stealing as many of your brother’s Kit Kat bars as you could without getting caught, filled your heart with a warmth and joy that you couldn’t quite describe. While the 80 degree temperatures and lack of bright reds and yellows painted across the leaves falling from their trees was much different from the Chicago Octobers you were accustomed to, it hadn’t stopped you from heading full steam into Halloween.
“So do you have any thoughts on what we should be for Steve and Connie’s? I have no problem going out to buy stuff for costumes, but I can already hear my mom yelling at me for wasting my money on cheaply made clothes I’m gonna wear for 5 hours when I have something perfectly good in my closet.” You rolled your eyes as you shuffled through the hangers, Javi sitting on the edge of your bed folding the laundry you were working on putting away.
The two of you had gladly accepted the invitation from Steve and Connie to spend the weekend with them in San Antonio, as the Murphy’s planned to host a Halloween party at their house for their friends and co-workers, giving you and Javi a chance to have a fun weekend out of town together.
“Hmmmm?” He asked, looking up at you as you grabbed a few shirts, examining them for costume potential. “We’re dressing up for this thing?”
“Yeah, that’s like, the whole point of Halloween, dummy.” You giggled, throwing a few options on the floor before making your way over to your pants. “Didn’t you dress up as a kid for Halloween?”
Unlike yourself, Javi had spent his whole life celebrating Día de los Muertos, Halloween having nowhere near as much relevance to him as it did to you, spending the end of October and first days of November gathering with his family to spend the day making Pan de Muerto (Day of the Dead sweet bread), watching the parades on the streets of Downtown Laredo before visiting the cemetery where his grandparents were buried, decorating their graves in cempasúchil (marigold flowers), candles and photographs with his primos (cousins). Since his mom had passed, Javi hadn’t been home to celebrate with his family, and had almost forgone the tradition completely during his time in Colombia, the pain and loss of his mother and the solemn sadness of celebrating alone leading him to try his best to forget about the holiday all together.
“Uh, no, not, not really. Didn’t really do Halloween, isn’t really as much of a thing down here. My family always celebrated Día de Los Muertos instead.” He replied, almost embarrassed by his answer, not wanting to damper your excitement as you dug through your closet for costumes.
Your heart sank to your stomach, feeling awful that you hadn’t even taken into consideration that Javi's traditions around this time of year were completely different from what you were used to. The two of you had never really talked about how you wanted to celebrate future holidays, and always had wanted to make sure that the important parts of your lives were celebrated equally. Javi hadn’t said anything after you had spent the past few days putting up Halloween decorations around your apartment, and now you felt like an idiot assuming he had spent his whole life celebrating just like you.
“Oh… Shit. Javi, I’m so sorry, if you don’t wanna do costumes, we don’t have to, you just hadn’t said anything about Día de Los Muertos so I just assumed that-”
“Baby, it’s okay.” He pushed himself up off the bed, the width of his broad palms wrapping around your hips, trying to ease the guilt he could tell was rapidly consuming you. “You’re right, I never told you about it. It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything to celebrate it, and I haven’t been home for it since I’ve gotten back from Colombia. I just- I don’t really know how to feel about it, I guess. The last time I did anything for it was before my mom died. I was never able to bring myself to do anything about it while I was gone, and I guess now I just feel really shitty that was the way I decided to handle it.” It broke your heart to see the pain in his eyes, pulling yourself closer to him as you wrapped your arms around his stomach, leaning your head against his chest. It was then, the realization had hit you too- This would be your first year of holidays without Patrick. You didn’t know as much as you would have liked to about Día de Los Muertos, but you did know that it was to celebrate the lives of loved ones you’d lost, a feeling that you and Javi were both all too familiar with.
“Listen…” You raised your head, looking up at him, arms still intertwined around his waist. “I don’t- I don’t wanna make you do anything that you’re uncomfortable with. I guess this is the first time we’ve ever really talked about this kind of stuff. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, Jav, and that means celebrating the things that are special to both of us. The things that are important to you are important to me too. I want our lives for us, for our future family, to be filled with all the things we care the most about, whether that means keeping old traditions or making our own new ones. It would mean a lot to me to get to celebrate Día de los Muertos with you, and if it’s okay, I would love to sprinkle in some Halloween too, because I’m fucking dying to carve a pumpkin.”
You smiled up at him as his hand slid under your jaw, his thumb tracing across your cheek as he tried his best to hold back the tears welling in his eyes. It took everything in him to not ruin his plans, wanting to run into the bedroom, grab the ring out of his sock drawer and propose to you that very instant. Even after all this time, Javi still couldn't believe that he was the person you wanted to share the rest of your life with. That you wanted to intertwine your past, present, and future with his, to have a life, a family, together that the two of you could cherish forever. Never in a million years had he assumed he’d be anywhere close to where he was today, holding the world’s most beautiful, perfect woman in his arms, as she told him how she wanted nothing more than to build a family and spend the rest of her days with him.
“Osita… I fucking love you so much, you know that?” He leaned in, his lips meeting yours in a soft and deep kiss, your heart racing as he pulled you in tighter.
“Yeah, I mean, I guess, just a little bit…” You giggled, poking fun at him, considering not a day had passed since the first night he had said it that Javi hadn’t told you just how much he loved you.
“Shut up, you dork.” He chuckled, making you squeal as he picked you up, playfully shaking you in his grasp before setting you back down. “I’d love nothing more, Hermosa. I don’t know how the fuck you’re supposed to carve a pumpkin or what the hell you have planned for these costumes, but I’m all in. I want it all with you, Osita. Thank you.”
“Of course. For as much or as little as you want to do for Día de los Muertos, I’m all in too. I’m gonna be honest, I love Hallowen. Not as much as Christmas, but it’s a close second. It means you’re gonna have to trust me with a giant ass knife and cover yourself in pumpkin guts, though.”
“My trust is quickly starting to fade. Seriously though, what the hell are we supposed to dress up as?” He raised an eyebrow at you, nodding over to the pile of clothes you had pulled from your closet, now piled on the floor.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got some ideas.”
The weeks leading up to the holidays had made for fun at home date nights, the both of you genuinely looking forward to learning about the traditions you had both held so dear to your hearts. Almost every night after work, you had done something to celebrate the events leading up to the day. You had shown Javi a few of your favorite Halloween movies, including It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, Beetlejuice, and Ghostbusters, very adamantly insisting to him that those movies were about as scary as you were going to get, blaming your brothers for scarring you after forcing you to watch The Exorcist at the ripe age of 7 years old. In addition to the movies, you had told him about other funny Trick-Or-Treating stories from your childhood, Javi’s favorite being how your brothers, (being the ruthless idiots they were) paid one of their friends in all of their halloween candy to jump out of a bush dressed as a terrifying old lady to scare the absolute shit out of you, and making you quite literally pee your pants. In return Javi shared his favorite memories of cooking in the kitchen with his mom as she made Pan de Muertos for his family, the two of you even attempting to make it one of the nights after work, milling about the kitchen together as Javi told you about his family you had yet to meet, or had passed away long before you.
After a lengthy hunt, you were able to find pumpkins, bringing them to Chucho’s house to carve them since you had nowhere to put them inside your apartment. You offered him the rest of your Pan de Muertos in exchange for a place to work on your pumpkins, and while he gladly accepted the bread, the three of you knew Chucho was always happy to have you and Javi over, regardless.
“So tell me, mija,” Chucho spoke in between mouthfuls of sweet bread, rocking back and forth in his chair, “is there a meaning behind carving the pumpkins, or is it just for fun?”
“Just for fun! Okay, it looks like we’re ready, you want me to show you how to do it, or just let you go for it?” You smiled at Javi, the two of you sitting cross legged on Chucho’s porch, pumpkins open in front of you.
“You just scoop them out, right?” Javi questioned, looking into the pumpkin with an unsure grimace. “It seems like there's a lot in here, Osita. I have to get all of it out?”
“Yeah, or else you can’t see the design when you carve it. C’mon you big baby, just stick your hand in there and pull the guts out!” You laughed, digging your hand into your pumpkin, scooping out hearty globs of pumpkin guts, slopping them into the bucket Chucho had set out for you. Reluctantly, Javi joined, you and Chucho both absolutely dying at Javi’s face as his hand met the squishy fibers inside his pumpkin.
“Jesus, that feels fucking gross!” He laughed, shaking his head as he threw some of the seeds and strings into the trash next to him.
“You need me to do it for you?” You giggled, flicking a pumpkin seed at him as he winced with the second handful he pulled out.
“No, cabrón (asshole), I can do it.” Javi grumbled as he rolled his eyes at you, the both of you scooping hearty handfuls of goop.
“You hear that, Chucho? Calling me an asshole because he’s too scared to pull out pumpkin guts.” You looked back at his dad, giving him a playful grin, his smile already wide from the enjoyment of watching the two of you. With your back turned to Javi, you hadn’t noticed the small handful of seeds he had collected in his hand, lining up his arm to aim right at the back of your head. “I can’t believe that- HEY!” You whipped your neck around, running your hand over the back of your neck, picking seeds and strings out of your hair, seeing Javi snicker to himself as your jaw dropped open in shock. “Did you seriously just throw pumpkin guts at me?!”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, must have been a ghost.” He shrugged, smirking to himself before digging his hand back into his pumpkin.
“You see this?!” You looked back at Chucho, pointing your finger at Javi, pretending to be stern, although your laughter quickly escaped. “Absolutely ridiculous, I swear.”
“Javier, that is no way to treat your future esposa! (Wife) No quiero mis nietos ser cubierto en calabaza! Me encantáran en cualquier caso, pero todavía! (I don’t want my future grandchildren covered in pumpkin! I will love them either way, but still!)” Chucho scolded with a smirk, you and Javi silently smiling to each other at the thought of one day doing this with your own children. Javi had tried to stop fighting off his dad’s comments about grandkids a while ago- Chucho knew just as well as the two of you that he would have his grandchildren soon enough.
“Ella lo pído… (She asked for it…)” Javi muttered under his breath, shooting his gaze up at you as he felt cold goop hit the side of his cheek, wiping the pumpkin you had just thrown at him off with the back of his hand, watching you smirk silently to yourself as you continued to scoop out your pumpkin.
“Ahora… Estamos a mano. (And now… We’re even.)”
The 3 of you chatted on the porch, the sky now painted a dark black, filled with twinkling constellations above as you finished carving your pumpkins. Yours, a cute ghost with a little smiley face, and Javi’s, what he had tried to convince you and Chucho was also a ghost, even though it looked more like he had just carved a squiggly hole in the middle of his. It took a little prodding and convincing, but as you all talked about how the Peña family had spent many a Día de los Muertos, you and Chucho were able to get Javi to agree to go visit his mom’s gravesite on the Sunday after you got back from Steve and Connie’s party. Chucho had even promised to keep his tias, tios, and primos (aunts, uncles, and cousins) completely out of the picture this year, wanting to give Javi all the time and space he needed to go see his mom for the first time since her funeral. He was reluctant at first, riddled with the guilt of leaving her unvisited all these years, but as he felt the gentle squeeze of your hand, your silent reassurance was all he needed to know that you would be by his side, every step of the way. As you said your goodbyes, Chucho hugged you just a little extra tighter than normal, as if to thank you for everything you had done for his son, and just how thankful he was to have you in his life, too.
Even though the Murphy’s had very graciously offered to let you and Javi stay on Friday night as well as Saturday, both Steve and Connie very much understood when you had told them on the phone that the only thing that you wanted to do after coming home from the chaos of managing an elementary school Halloween party was take a very, very long nap. You and Javi had spent the night ordering pizza and watching Young Frankenstein, only lasting about 20 minutes into the movie before you were dead asleep, snoring against Javi’s chest, still dressed in If You Give A Mouse A Cookie costume from earlier today. Carrying you to bed and undressing you from your mouse ears and oversized overalls, Javi curled into bed next to you, pulling your body against his as he stared at the ceiling. Despite how hard he tried to fall asleep, he laid there, wide awake as ever, as his head raced with the tornado of thoughts brewing inside his brain.
Javier Peña had never really considered himself to be an anxious person. For most of his life, he couldn’t be. For the sake of his job, the sake of his family after his Mom passed, Javi had survived the only way he had known how- Block it out, and ignore it. And so far, that strategy had seemed to bode for him pretty darn well. But that was before he had anyone who depended on him, cared about him, anyone who made his life worth living for. That was before he had met you. Now, Javi found himself at the crossroads of a moment he had been waiting for since the moment he had first laid eyes on you. Something that brought him absolute joy and sheer terror at the same time- Javier Peña was going to propose to you, and he was an anxious fucking mess.
If that in itself wasn’t enough, things at the Laredo County Sheriff's Department had been an absolute shit show. Mexico was the only thing on anyone’s radar, making for long days and high tension at the office, trying to do anything to slow the spread of the cartel’s influence across the border. Day after day, report after report, it felt like the department was drowning in the endless shitty news of new death tolls, record breaking trafficking stats, and lack of control as cocaine moved across the Rio Grande at a groundbreaking pace. Even though he found himself even further removed from Mexico than he ever was in Colombia, he couldn’t help but feel that painful, searing wrench in his gut when he sat down to really think about it.
You.
Spending your lives together.
Having a family.
Protecting his wife and kids.
The things he would do to keep you safe.
The terrible things he had done he had justified were keeping other people safe.
The imagines of the things he wish he could unsee.
The pain and hurt he wished he could take back.
The fear of what he was capable of doing.
So with a knot in his chest from work, a ring hidden away in his sock drawer, and the beginnings of a plan to ask the woman he loved more than life itself to marry him, Javi coped with the weight of his stress the only way he knew how. He couldn’t fucking sleep.
The thoughts played in his mind on repeat, torturing him with every loop around his brain. He tried his best to close his eyes, to empty his head for a moment of peace, but no matter how much he wished he could have willed himself to sleep, it was no use. By the time the alarm clock on his nightstand read 2:05 AM, Javi had completely given up on the idea of rest for the night, quietly making his way out of bed to go wander around the living room. It wasn’t long before you too were also awake, rolling over in your sleep to find Javi’s space in the bed cold and empty. Rubbing your eyes and propping yourself up against your pillow, you scanned around the darkness of your room as you came to, realizing that Javi was nowhere to be found. Draping one of the blankets from your bed over you, you crept into the hallway, greeted by the soft light of one of the living room lamps painting shadows against the wall.
“Javi, are you up?” Your voice still soft and sleepy, rubbing your hand along your face, squinting from the sudden brightness that lit up the room.
“Osita, baby, did I wake you up? I'm so sorry. Go back to bed, okay?” Javi shot up from the couch, setting down whatever book he had been half focused on reading as he watched your bed headed figure meander into the living room.
“No, it’s okay.” You grumbled, holding out your blanket covered arms for Javi to melt his body into yours, wrapping you in a tight hug. You pressed your head into the bare skin of his chest, snaking your hands around his waist as he planted his lips against the the top of your head, burying his nose in your tangled hair. “Baby, what’s going on? Why can’t you sleep? I’m worried about you, Jav.”
“I’m… Yeah, I’m okay, Hermosa. Just a lot on my mind.” He sighed, his exhale still buried in your hair as he savored the smell of you, still lingering even in your sleepy state.
His pause alone was enough to know okay wasn’t the word that you would use to describe Javi right now. His words were burdened and fatigued, making it clear that whatever was on his mind was weighing on him more heavily than he wanted to admit.
“Are you sure? Javi, if you wanna talk about anything, you know I’m always here, right?”
You wanted so desperately to pry. Everything in you had a feeling that whatever was keeping him up were entangled in the parts of his dark parts past, the last secrets holding up the final wall between the two of you. You knew from your brothers how hard it was to talk about the pain and suffering they had witnessed, and begging them to talk about it before they were ready only seemed to make it worse. Hell, after Patrick died, it felt like you didn’t sleep for weeks, and it had taken you months to open up about it. You knew Javi hurt, and as much as you wanted to, digging deeper into the things that plagued him in his restless nights wasn’t what he needed right now. Right now, he just needed someone to be there for him.
“Is there anything I can do, Javi? I just wanna help.” The breath of your sympathetic whispers were hot against Javi’s skin, squeezing your arms to pull him as close to you as he could. He paused for a moment, letting out another deep breath as cradled the back of your head with his palm, running his hands through your hair.
“Will- Will you stay up with me? Just a little bit longer?” His voice trembled as you turned your head to lock your eyes with his, the gentle nod of your head bringing him a moment of relief.
“Of course, baby. Of course I’ll stay up with you. Do you wanna turn on the TV or put on a movie? Sometimes that helps me sleep.” You stretched your arms over your head, scrunching your face as you yawned before tugging your blanket tighter around your body.
“Believe me, Hermosa, I know it does.” He let out a soft chuckle as he pressed a soft kiss against your forehead.
“Oh shit, yeah that is true. I don’t even think I made it halfway through Young Frankenstein tonight, which is a crime. It’s such a good movie. I don’t even remember getting into bed.” You yawned again, this time taking one of your blanket covered fists to try and rub the sleep out of your eyes, forcing yourself to stay awake.
“Well, if you give a mouse pizza and a movie after a long day at school, then she’ll probably need her boyfriend to carry her to bed because she’s so tired.” Now awake enough, Javi’s cute jab at your costume for school made you let out a little giggle, giving him a little shove with your blanket wrapped body. “Why don’t we turn the rest of it on, so you can finish watching?”
“I don’t wanna fall asleep on you, Javi.” You grumbled, pouting up at him, considering he had just asked you to stay awake with him.
“It’s okay. As long as I have you by me, I’ll be alright, I promise.” Reluctantly, you nodded in agreement, plopping yourself on the couch as Javi turned on the TV, rewinding the VHS tape to the point where you had fallen asleep earlier before joining you, draping his arm around your shoulder as you tucked in your knees and scooted closer to him. You sat for a few minutes in silence, letting the sounds of the movie fill the background. As you turned your head to look up at Javi, you could tell that even though his eyes were pointed at the screen, there was no way he was really watching the movie. Reaching up your hand, you ran your fingers across the length of his strong jaw, his stubble scratching against your palm, forcing him to look back at you. Your eyes met his, the sweet, chocolate brown looking back at you, with a confusing mix of exhaustion, guilt, want and helplessness. You brought your face closer to his, your lips now only inches apart as your whispers danced against his mouth, desperate to find something to ease his pain.
“What do you need, Javi? Whatever you need, I’ll give it to you.”
His tongue swept against his bottom lip, taking one last shaky breath before his words left his body with his exhale.
“You. I need you.”
His hands found their way to the bare skin of your thighs, his fingertips barely brushing against your flesh as he traced his way up to your torso, toying with the hem of one of his shirts that always looked so much better on you than him. Pressing his palm against the soft curves of your stomach, he tugged at the waistband of your sleep shorts, causing you to shift your body so he could slide them down your legs. Reaching over towards his lap, you grasped at his boxers, feeling him already half hard under the fabric as you rubbed your hand against him. Javi held your hips, slowly guiding you to straddle him as you kicked your shorts off your feet, leaving them in a pile on the ground. Slowly, you began to grind deeper into his lap, the feeling of him now fully hard beneath you. Gently prompting you to raise your arms over your head, Javi lifted your shirt, leaving you bare as he dropped it next to your shorts.
“Is this okay?” Javi rasped, pressing languid kisses against your neck and collarbone as you ran your hands against the width of his broad shoulders.
“Of course, baby.” Your reply low and horse as you began to drag the fabric of his boxers lower and lower, finally letting his cock spring free as his waistband pushed past. You brought your palm to your mouth, licking a long, wet strip across it before wrapping it around his length, thumbing over the precum already leaking from his tip. Javi tilted his head against the back of the couch as you twisted your wrist, stroking his cock, letting out a hushed moan before sitting back up to watch you.
“You’re fucking perfect, Osita. I don’t deserve you.” He dug his fingertips into the soft flesh of your ass, his sweet, brown eyes locked on yours as you pressed against him, nibbling at his ear.
“You deserve everything, Javi. I could give you everything in the world and it still wouldn’t be enough.” Javi grasped at your face, cupping your cheeks as he pressed his lips against yours in a deep, intense kiss, his voice shaky and lustful as his mouth parted with yours before he spoke.
“I don’t need anything besides you, Osita. Eres mi todo. Estás todo lo que necesito. (You are my everything. You’re all I’ll ever need.) He shuttered, letting out a low groan as you continued to rub your hand along his length, Javi now reaching down to trace lazy circles around your clit before dipping his fingers inside your wet heat. His fullness made you whimper, wrapping tighter around his cock as you stroked him, now bucking your hips against his hand as his fingers curled, bumping against the spongy spot that made you lose control. “Does that feel good, sweet girl? Fuck, you’re so wet.
“Mhmmmmm.” You gasped, rapidly nodding your head as his digits pulsed inside you, your cunt already drenched, desperate to feel the fullness of his dick, despite the thickness of his fingers. Carefully, you lifted your hips, moving yourself closer to him as you ran your fingers through the soft ends of his sleepy curls. Sitting up on your knees, Javi removed his hand as he watched you hover over him, his palms roaming to your hips as you guided his tip through your folds, collecting your arousal before lining him up with your entrance. His jaw went slack as you lowered down on to him, taking your time as you savored the stretch of every sweet inch until you had bottomed out at his base.
“Fuckkk, baby.” He mewled, gently guiding his hands against your hips as you dragged yourself up along his length before headfully sinking back down, the tip of his cock bumping against your cervix with each movement. Javi nipped at your neck, trailing hot, wet kisses down your collarbone before stopping at your breasts, flicking this tongue along each of your pebbled nipples as you pushed deeper into his lap, whimpering at his touch. “My sweet girl, always taking me so well, like you were fucking made for me, baby. God, you’re so fucking gorgeous.” Javi pulled you in tighter, caging his chest against yours as his arms wrapped around the small of your back as he rested his face in the crook of your neck. “Fuck, I love you so much, Osita.” His words were desperate and needy against your bare skin, digging your fingers into his dark curls as you swirled your hips around his cock.
“I love you too, Javi. More than anything.” You moaned as felt Javi shift his weight, thrusting upwards as he buried himself deep inside you. His fullness had you digging your nails into the nape of his neck, your body melting into his with each push and pull against each other. You could feel the all too familiar tingle creeping up your legs and through the base of your spine as Javi’s hand found its way to circle around your clit, already throbbing as the curled hair around his base brushed against your sensitive nerves. The lewd noises of your moans and tangled bodies drowned out the sounds of the TV behind you, practically hearing how wet you were as Javi cock slipped in and out of your heat, his pace pounding as he punched into you. You could feel your walls beginning to tighten around him, arousal pooling in your belly, Javi knowing you were close as you whimpered into the crook of his neck. “Fuck baby, don’t stop- ahhhh- please don’t stop, I’m so close.”
“I know, baby, I know. Let go for me, Osita. Wanna feel you soak my lap before I fuck you full of me. Cum for me baby, it’s okay, I’ve got you.” Javi’s fingers rubbed faster along your clit as you rolled your hips, sinking yourself deeper onto his cock with each thrust, your vision going white as you could feel yourself come undone.
“Javi, Javi- fuck- Javi, Jav-ahhhhhh.” You could feel yourself gush around him, crying out his name as you reached your high, your legs shaking and fingers digging into his skin, pleasure flowing through your veins.
“That’s it, Hermosa. Fuck, baby, I’m gonna cum too, fuck myself so deep inside you. My perfect girl. Mierda- Quiero que seas mío para siempre, mi amor. Solo tú, por siempre y para siempre. (Shit- I want you to be mine forever, my love. Only you, forever and always). Fuck me, I- fuckkkk.” Javi hissed as he buried himself deep in your hilt, spilling every drop of his spend against your walls. You could feel the mixture of the both of you dripping down your thighs, soaking Javi’s lap as you slumped into his body, your heart racing as the damp curls of his hair pressed against your shoulder. You both sat there for a moment, letting your chests rise and fall together in sync as you came to. “Fuck me, Osita. I could stay like this forever, baby.”
“You and me both. Although, I feel like that would make things awfully inconvenient for the both of us.” Your soft, sleepy giggles making Javi smile as he ran his fingers though the twisted ends of your hair. Carefully, you lifted yourself up, hissing at the loss of Javi inside you.
“Thank you, Osita.” Javi whispered, tenderly circling his thumb along your jaw as you curled up next to him.
“For what?”
“Just- fuck, you’re so good to me. I don’t know what I’d do without you. So, I just- thank you. Thank you for being everything I need.” Planting a gentle kiss on your forehead, Javi pulled you tighter, holding you in his arms as you leaned against him.
“I’ll always be here for you, Javi. I promise.”
You hoped he knew. That he knew your words were true. That when the time came for him to open up to you, letting you into the painful past that loomed above him, that you wouldn’t run. You would be right by his side, just as you were right now.
“Well good morning, Sleeping Beauty.” Javi chuckled as you twisted in the passenger seat, stretching your arms over your head, scrunching your face, letting out a lengthy yawn.
“Fuck, how long was I asleep for? How much longer do we have left? Sorry, I wasn’t planning on sleeping that long, I just wanted to take a nap for a little while we drove.” You ran your hands over your face, looking out at the bright Texas sun shining over the neat suburban neighborhood you now found yourself driving through. Javi reached over across the center console, rubbing his hand along your thigh as he chuckled to himself.
“Baby, I knew from the moment you fell asleep you were gonna be out for the rest of the drive, it’s okay. I was just worried I was gonna have to wake you up in the Murphy’s driveway.” You grumbled as you looked over at Javi, giving him a playful swat against his arm, shaking your head, now emerging from your post nap fog.
“Well if we weren't up fucking at 2:30 in the morning, perhaps I wouldn’t be so tired, hmmmm?”
Javi rolled his eyes as you poked fun at how the both of you had found yourselves last night, trying to ease Javi’s sleeplessness. While your solution had worked enough to ease him back to bed, it had now left you wide awake, wondering what had been going through Javi’s head, torturing him enough to keep him up. It had also meant that the two of you had slept in much longer than you intended, leaving later than planned for Steve and Connie’s. The two of you had quickly packed your things and hit the road, stopping to grab lunch on the way before you found yourself dead asleep next to Javi for the last hour and a half of your journey to San Antonio. With only a few minutes now left in your drive, you peered out the window, admiring the houses that lined the quiet streets of the Murphy’s neighborhood.
“This is a cute subdivision.” You smiled over at Javi, admiring the houses, charming and inviting as they were freshly decorated from Halloween.
“Yeah, it is pretty nice.” He grinned back, wrapping his palm around your thigh, giving your leg a little squeeze. He took a deep breath, his voice now shifting in tone, becoming more shaky and nervous. “Would you uh- would you, um, wanna live in a neighborhood like this?”
“Maybe. I don’t know, the houses are all really close together. I spent so much of my life in the city, and even at my house growing up, everything always felt so cramped. After coming here, especially after seeing your ranch, I don’t know, I would love to be somewhere with more space. But that’s a big ask, so, maybe one day if it works out, I guess.” You reached over, rubbing your hand along Javi’s arm, your soft smile meeting his tender gaze as he smirked, nodding to himself.
“Yeah, one day.”
Taking a last turn down one of the neighborhood streets, the two of you pulled up to the quaint two story home belonging to the Murphy’s. Turning off the ignition, Javi paused for a moment, grinning to himself as he ran the hand resting on your leg up to your face, cupping your check as his eyes roamed the length of your body, taking every inch of you in as his sweet brown eyes consumed you. “I love you, Osita.”
“I love you too, Jav.” Both of your heads tilted, your lips gently pressing against one anothers as you traced your hand through Javi’s dark curls, pulling him closer into you. You could feel his smile against your mouth as his tongue barely swiped against your bottom lip, the two of you so lost in the moment, you hadn’t even seen Steve make his way out of the house to greet you, let alone the fact that he was now standing at the driver’s side door, hands on his hips as he watched your impromptu makeout session in Javi’s truck.
“You two lovebirds want help bringin’ your bags in, or do I need to give you a minute?” Steve chuckled to himself as you and Javi shot up, hearts racing and faces going white hearing his distinct drawl and rapid tapping at the driver’s side window. Taking a deep breath to compose himself, Javi placed one more soft kiss on your forehead before promptly turning around to flip off Steve and opening the driver’s side door. “You two are worse than a pair of horny teenagers, I swear.” You could hear Steve still snickering to himself as you exited out your side of the car, making your way over to find Javi and Steve in a tight hug, lovingly patting each other on the back.
“Fuck off, Murph.” Javi shook his head against Steve’s embrace, pulling away to grab your two bags from the backseat.
“Listen, I’m not the one makin’ out in my driveway.” Steve shrugged as you sheepishly emerged from your side of the truck, smiling at you as grimaced at him.
“He started it…” You glanced over at Javi, you and Steve now both giggling as he pulled you in for a hug.
“Of course he did, wouldn’t put anything past this old bastard. How ya doin’ sweetheart? Good to see the both of you, we’re really glad you guys could make it.
“She’s doing great after the hour and a half nap she took on the way here.” Javi interjected, slamming the truck door behind him, slinging both of your bags over his shoulder.
“Whatever, you meanie. In my defense, I was not planning to sleep that long, and I think Halloween exhaustion got the best of me.” You shot Javi a quick wink, trying to bite down on your lip before turning back to face Steve.
“Listen, I don’t blame ya. I’m fuckin’ exhausted after trick-or-treating with 3 kids, let alone tryin’ to keep ‘em wrangled at school all day. I love those girls, but I don’t think I could've gotten them in my parents car fast enough when they came to pick ‘em up this morning. Here, come on in, I won’t make you stand out in the driveway all day, unless you need to make out more.”
As you stepped into the Murphy home, you were greeted by an abundance of Halloween streamers and banners hanging in the living room and up the stairwell to the second floor, along with a few Barbie dolls and accessories scattered across the entryway, nearly stepping on one as you came through the door. You could smell the sweet scent of something baking in the kitchen as Connie came rushing through the hallway, arms outstretched to greet you and Javi. “Oh it’s so good to see you two, thank you so much for coming!” Connie squeezed you and Javi in a tight hug before she backed away, kicking one of the toys on the floor across the room. “Sorry about the Barbies, I told the girls to clean up before they left for their grandparents this morning but I think all 3 of them are still running on a sugar high from last night and that obviously didn’t happen.”
“Thank you so much for having us! Don’t worry about it at all, I totally understand! Javi was just telling me on the way over how much he was hoping the girls had Barbies he could play with anyways!” The 3 of you laughed as Javi rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest as you gave him a smirk and a little nudge.
“Fuck, I forgot how funny she was Jav.” Steve snickered to himself, picking up one of the Barbies and tossing it across the room into one of the toy baskets along the wall. “Seriously though, we are really glad you guys could make it. Your birthday party was fun as hell, old man. Glad to be close enough to actually see each other and do stuff like this again.”
Before Javi would respond, you all jumped, startled by the sound of the kitchen timer beeping rapidly from the other room. “Oh crap, sorry, I gotta grab the cupcakes out of the oven!” Connie grimaced apologetically, making her way back to the kitchen.
“Do you need any help?” You asked, excited to spend more time with Connie.
“Oh my gosh actually if you could help with frosting the cupcakes that would be amazing. I made these yesterday for Olivia and Abby’s class parties, and I had no idea it was gonna take so long and was worried I wasn’t going to have enough time for all of them before the party! Thank you!”
“Of course!” You replied, grinning at her before following her lead to the kitchen, giving a little wave as you disappeared around the hall, looking back at Steve and Javi. “Have fun, you two.”
Steve paused for a moment until the both of you were out of sight, waiting to forcefully slap his hand against Javi’s chest, making him groan from the unexpected pain.
“What the fuck was that for, you jackass?” Javi winced, glaring at Steve.
“Where the fuck’s the ring, man?! Steve hissed through gritted teeth, looking back at Javi in disappointment. “I thought you were gonna fuckin’ do it after you got back from Chicago and met her family?! I thought everything was all good with- oh shit, did something happen with the ho-”
“Shhhhhh! You fuckin’ idiot, please, talk louder, I don’t think the people at the end of the street could hear you.” Javi looked around the corner, clenching his jaw, praying that you hadn’t heard anything from the kitchen.
“I’m not that fuckin’ loud… Shit, what the fuck happened then?” Steve grumbled, looking over at Javi with concern.
“Can we maybe talk about proposal plans somewhere that’s not right by the woman I’m trying to propose to?” Running his thumb over his balled fists, Javi’s eyes darted back and forth, staying on the lookout for your return.
“Fine, fine, fine. I’ll show you where the guest room is and then you can tell me.” Steve motioned up the stairs, Javi trailing behind with both your bags draped around his shoulders
“Was I really that fuckin’ loud?”
“…Have you heard yourself talk?”
“So how’s everything been going at work? There definitely was a full moon sometime in the past week because things were crazy at the hospital, I’m sure they had to be equally as bad at an elementary school.” You and Connie giggled as you squeezed a dollop of orange frosting onto one of the cupcakes before taking one of the little bags to pipe on eyes and a mouth to make it look like a pumpkin.
“Oh my god, I think it must have been on Wednesday, I had a boy cut another girl’s hair with scissors and then had to call another parent because her daughter bit another kid at recess pretending to play werewolves. I felt really bad we didn’t come last night, I was exhausted after our Halloween party, I fell asleep on poor Javi at like, 8 o’clock.”
Although you found yourself laughing with Connie again, you couldn’t help but shake the uncomfortable feeling you had in your gut as you thought about after you had woken up in the middle of the night to find Javi wide awake and distressed. You carefully set down your spatula, taking a deep breath before glancing over at Connie, still frosting next to you. “Hey, uh, Connie? Can, um- Can I ask you something?” Connie immediately sensed the shift in your tone, putting down her cupcake.
“Of course, honey. What’s going on?”
“Did um, did- Did Steve ever- ever talk to you? About all the stuff that happened in Colombia? I mean like, I know you were there, but I don’t know. Sorry, I don’t know what I’m trying to ask, this is probably way too personal, I-” You could feel yourself shrinking, retracting in embarrassment at your overly intrusive question, unable to finish your thought before Connie cut you off, placing her hand on your shoulder.
“Oh, honey…” Her eyes were filled with sympathy as they looked back at yours, letting out a sigh before she responded. “Did something happen?” You began to nod your head no, even though you could feel the words yes burning in your throat. You took another shaky breath, trying to hold back the tears now welling in your eyes as you spoke.
“No I mean- well, yeah, I guess. Last night, I woke up and Javi wasn’t in bed. He was out in the living room and I could tell that something was bothering him. I don’t know- maybe it was nothing. I just- when my brothers came back from active duty, there were a lot of things that kind of just went unspoken. I knew it was hard for them to talk about. Charlie handled it okay, but my brother Patrick never wanted to talk to anyone about what happened, and it just- I don’t know Connie, I don’t think Javi would ever do anything stupid like he did, but- fuck- it scares me sometimes. I know Javi’s done things that he’s probably not proud of, and I get it’s part of the nature of what his job was. I don’t care. I really don’t. People do shitty things when they’re put in shitty situations. But he never talks about it. Ever. Does… Does he not trust me? I care about him so much, Con. More than anything. I get so worried about him.”
Your tears were now streaming down your cheeks, leaving your face wet as you wiped the back of your hand across your skin to try and do some form of damage control before Connie embraced you, pulling you in for a hug, tightly wrapping her arms around you. “Oh sweetheart. Of course he trusts you. When Steve came back, he was a mess. I don’t think it really all hit him until he was finally home. I guess you’re right, it was different because I was there, but even then, there were things that happened that I didn’t know about. After begging and begging him, I finally got him to go to see someone and it really helped, but even now, there’s times where it still creeps up on him. Honey, Javi loves you so much. I didn’t think I’d ever live to see the day he was in love as he is with you. If he’s anything like Steve, he just doesn't wanna hurt you.”
You sniffled, taking a step back to wipe your nose with your sleeve, your lip trembling as you tried to keep from crying harder than you already were. “But that’s what hurts, Connie. It hurts me to think he has to keep this from me, like I’m gonna think less of him for what he’s been through.”
“I know. Have you talked to him about it?” Connie’s voice was gentle and sweet, rubbing her hand along your arm as she listened to what you needed to get off your chest.
“No… I guess I should have. I never wanted to pry. I know it’s hard to talk about, I just- I wanna be there for him Connie. I don’t want him to have to do it all on his own.” You shifted your gaze to the ground, guilt washing over you. After Patrick, you couldn’t live with the idea of letting Javi try to suffer through his past alone. You loved him more than anything- and even the slightest thought of going through anything similar to what had happened to Patrick again with Javi was almost paralyzing.
“I think the best thing you can do is to go talk to him.” Looking back up, you saw Connie smiling at you, trying to convince you that everything would be okay, even if it felt like it wasn’t. “Why don’t you go find him? Party’s starting soon anyways, you can go change into your costumes and come down wherever you’re ready. I’ll be just fine with the cupcakes, tell Steve can put himself to work frosting.” The both of you grinned as you tried to wipe your tears, nodding slowly in agreement.
“Thanks, Connie.” You whispered into her shoulder as you pulled her in for a hug before heading up the stairs to find where Javi and Steve had gone. It didn’t take you long to find the pair, hearing their voices carry through the hallway from the slightly cracked door of the guest bedroom. You were about to knock and interrupt their conversation, stopping yourself with your fist barely touching the door as you tried to make out what they were talking about.
“The offer was in fucking cash, too. I was trying to make it easier so I could speed up the process, but it’s been taking them so goddamn long to close on everything so I can finally go sign the fucking paperwork.”
“That fuckin’ blows, Jav. I’m sorry. It’s not like she knows any better, though. It’ll still be a huge fuckin’ surprise, I’ll tell you that much.”
“I know. It’s been killing me to wait this long. I just want it to be perfect, Steve. She deserves everything. Honestly, I’m kinda glad it bought me some more time. I need to find a way to get her to see it before everything’s official in case she fucking hates it.”
“Javi. She’s not gonna hate it. Fuck it, tell her Connie and I are lookin’ for somethin’ and we wanted you two to go see it for us. I don’t know, maybe that’s too obvious. Speakin’ of which, I should probably go check to see if she needs anything before this party, I’m already in the fuckin’ dog house for forgettin’ to bring the girl’s trick-or-treatin’ bags to school, I don’t need to be in trouble for anything else.”
What the hell were they talking about? What was Javi signing? Why was it taking so long? What the hell did it have to do with you? Wait… holy fuck. No way… Was he-
Before you could finish your thought, you suddenly realized Steve was making his way towards the door. You quickly rapped your fist against the wood, trying to play off the fact you had been eavesdropping and make it look like you had just unassumingly made your way upstairs, not overhearing the conversation the two were just having.
Knock, knock.
“Hey, it’s me! Uh, Steve, Con wants to know if you can help her with the cupcakes really quick.” You pushed open the door, trying your best to smile at the suspicious pair as Steve shook his head, looking back at Javi.
“It’s always fuckin’ somethin’. I don’t even know what I did wrong this time, I swear.” Steve held up his hands defensively, sliding his way past you in the doorway before heading downstairs, leaving you standing there awkwardly, unsure how to feel after your conversation with Connie and the one you had just overheard.
“Hey, Osita. How’s everything goin’ down there? Sorry, we were just about to come down and- Hey, baby, you okay?” Javi stood up, concern spreading across his face from the strange scrunch in your brow as you stared at the floor.
“Ummmm…” You froze for a moment, unsure of what to do. On the one hand, your conversation with Connie had you ready to confront Javi, to finally work up the courage to ask him about the past life he had tried his best to keep from you. But as you glanced over at him, seeing his sweet brown eyes and stupidly handsome face, remembering the discussion you had just overheard through the doorway, the other hand meant you weren’t at risk of ruining your night that the two of you had been so looking forward to, and right now, the other hand was going to have to be the one you needed to play. “Yeah, yeah, I’m good, I just- I was gonna ask you something but forgot what I was gonna say. I’m sure I’ll remember it eventually.” You smiled at Javi, neither of you completely convinced by your response. “But um, Connie said that people are gonna start getting here soon, so we can change into our costumes if you want.” A smirk slowly stretched across your cheeks as you nodded over to the black duffle bags laying on the bed.
Javi’s grin matched yours quickly, grabbing your hips and pulling you closer against him as you giggled. “You sure we’re not gonna be the only ones dressed up?”
“Well considering it’s a Halloween party and I literally just talked to Connie about what she and Steve are wearing downstairs, I’m gonna give it a pretty confident yes. Worst case, it just looks like you’re wearing a white shirt and vest, Mr. Solo. You stuck up, half-witted, scruffy looking nerf herder.” You raised your eyebrows, playfully poking at his chest. Javi paused, shaking his head at your quote, firing one right back at you as he bit down on his lip.
“You just like me because I’m a scoundrel. There aren’t enough scoundrels in your life.”
“I happen to like nice men.”
“I am a nice man.”
Javi cupped your face, pulling you in for a long, heavy kiss before backing away to unpack your bags, shooting you a quick wink as you rolled your eyes. Jesus, he even found a way to make Star Wars sexy. Just when you thought you couldn’t be anymore in love, Javier Peña never failed to find a way to make you realize you’d never stop falling for him.
After putting in what felt like the 74th bobby pin into your hair after getting the last braid wrapped over your head, you gave yourself a once over in the mirror, pleasantly surprised by how well your costume had turned out. While Javi was disappointed you were adamant you were not going as Princess Leia from Return of the Jedi and showing up in front of a group of strangers at Steve and Connie’s party in her slave costume, you and Javi both agreed that Hoth Princess Leia was definitely the next best look. Staring at you with his puppy dog eyes, Javi had been adamant about waiting with you as you finished getting ready, leaning his hip against the bathroom counter, arms crossed over his chest as he watched you finish the last of your hair and makeup.
“Okay, I think that should stay. All those years of braiding my hair for under my hockey helmet are finally coming in handy for something.” You snickered, pushing the final clip into your hair to hold it into place, giving yourself a once over in the mirror. As you looked yourself down, Javi’s eyes wandered up and down your body just as fast, practically undressing you as fast as you had put your costume on.
“Goddamn, Osita… Fuck, you’re so hot.”
“Me? Jesus Christ, Javi. You put Harrison Ford to shame with how fucking good you look. I like Han Solo better with a mustache anyways.” You licked your tongue against your bottom lip, running your hands along the muscles of his arms, straining against the tight henley shirt he was wearing under his vest. You were no better than Javi, practically having to force yourself to not look in his general direction while you were getting ready to prevent yourself from pouncing on him. But given the lack of chatter downstairs, and the impressive speed at which the two of you had gotten ready, you really couldn’t help yourself. Slowly, you let your hands begin to slip down his arms and across his chest, palming at the denim of his black jeans as he let out a deep groan.
“Hermosa…” He hissed against your neck as you grasped at the bulge now growing under his pants, your other hand now making its way down to undo his belt, the clinking of the metal drowned out by Javi’s heavy panting. You began lowering your body, sliding Javi’s pants and boxers down his thighs as his cock sprang free, his tip already red and leaking with precum. You rested on your knees, face to face with his length as you wrapped your hand around him, slowly stroking him a few times.
“This okay, Captain Solo?” You batted your lashes at him, giving him a wink before letting your spit dribble onto his cock, taking his tip into your mouth and swirling your tongue around it. Curling your fingers around his base, you began to twist your wrist, hollowing out your cheeks as you took him deeper into your mouth.
“Oh, fuck me. Holy shit, Osita.” He moaned, tilting his head back, letting his jaw go slack as your head bobbed back and forth. He gently rested his hand along the side of your face, helping to guide you along his length as you took him deeper and deeper down your throat. “Jesus Christ, baby. Fuck, that feels so good. You look so hot, god fuckin’ dammit.” Javi’s words were labored and shaky as you started to increase your pace, wrapping your free hand around the back of his bare thigh, digging your fingertips into his leg. Feeling the pressure beginning to build in his stomach, Javi began rocking his hips, his jaw completely slack as he looked down at the sight of how well you took him in your mouth, saliva dribbling down your chin as sucked along his cock, hard and heavy on your tongue. “Fuck, Osita. I’m not gonna last much longer. Can I cum like this, baby? Fill up that- fuck- fill up that pretty little mouth of yours?””
You glanced up at him, nodding, your lips still wrapped around his dick, the motions of your head and wrist now becoming faster and sloppier as you watched Javi’s brow scrunch and jaw clench, a sign you knew all too well that he was moments away from coming undone.
“Such a good fucking girl, taking me so well. Fuck, baby- shit- se sientes tan bien, estoy tan cercaaahhhhhh-” (you feel so good, I’m so closeeeee-). The hot ropes of his spend coated the back of your throat, the salty, tangy mix filling your mouth as Javi whined, giving his hips one last push as kept your lips wrapped around him, making sure that you had milked him of every last drop before releasing. Letting your spit and his release fall from the corners of your lips, you wiped your mouth with the back of your hand, smirking up at Javi’s blissed out expression. “Jesus Christ, Osita. You’re too fucking good at that. Holy shit. Lemme take care of-“
You held up your hand to stop him as you stood up, your gesture cutting off the rest of his sentence as you helped to pull up his jeans and boxers still resting along his thighs. “I’m allowed to give my hot ass boyfriend blowjobs without anything in return. C’mon, we better get downstairs before Steve walks in on us again.” You pressed up on your tiptoes, planting a quick kiss on Javi’s lips as he reached down to buckle his belt before the two of you tried your best to fix yourself up in the mirror to avoid the inevitable shit Steve was about to give the both of you. Giving Javi a quick nod in the mirror before turning off the light and heading out the door, he gave your ass a playful smack, making you squeal in surprise, making you turn on your heels. Resting his hand on his hip, he beamed at you, biting down on his lip.
“Fuck, I love you.”
“I know.”
The Murphy’s living room had begun to pool with guests as you made your way down the stairs, looking for Steve and Connie amongst the crowd. You and Javi both grabbed a beer from the cooler at the bottom of the stairwell, quickly turning around as you heard Steve’s familiar twang approaching behind you.
“Well I’ll be damned. You got this motherfucker in a costume? He must really love you.” Steve chuckled, shaking Javi by the shoulders. “And Star Wars too?! You asshole, how many times did I try to tell you they were good fuckin’ movies?! You shoulda dressed him up like Jabba the Hut.” You and Steve cackled as Javi rolled his eyes.
“Yeah, and what the fuck are you supposed to be? A sad pirate?” Javi jabbed, poking fun at Steve’s poorly put together costume.
“Listen, Olivia and Abby both wanted to be the Little Mermaid, so we had two Ariel’s, Con was Ursula, Madison was the yellow fish and I didn’t wanna be that annoying ass crab, so pirate it was, asshole.” Steve retorted, punching at Javi’s arm, the two of them laughing at each other like little boys. “Alright, go enjoy yourselves lovebirds, I’ll see ya in a little bit. And Javi?”
“Yeah Murph?”
“You really gotta start checkin’ your pants, buddy.”
Javi’s cheeks turned red, his eyes darting down to his zipper, still all the way undone from your activities upstairs, the both of you grimacing at each other, sheepishly avoiding eye contact with Steve as he disappeared into the crowd.
It really wasn’t a surprise to Javi how many friends the Murphy’s had already managed to make in their time since moving to San Antonio. Their house was quickly crowded with all sorts of people- Steve and Connie’s co-workers, neighbors, parents of friends Olivia and Abby had made at school, regardless of where the party goers were from, everyone had collectively agreed to make adult Halloween just as fun as any kids. You and Javi were having a great time catching up with Steve and Connie, as well as meeting some of their other close friends, one of Connie’s neighbors being an elementary school teacher, giving you two plenty to commiserate about from the hellish week it had been. It didn’t take long for the party to move outside, Steve drunkenly deciding that he needed to make a bonfire, despite adamant argument that with the amount of alcohol Steve had in his system, he was going to spontaneously combust if he got close enough to a flame. Javi, sober enough to still help his friend make rational decisions, was glad that Steve was happy to let him build the bonfire.
“The force is strong with you, Han Solo.” You giggled, Javi wrapping his arm around your shoulder, pressing a soft kiss into your forehead as the two of you stared into the flickering orange glow of the fire pit.
“Not strong enough to extinguish Steve if he got close enough to it. Hey, I got shit all over my hands, I’m gonna go to the bathroom and wash ‘em off. You need anything while I’m inside, Princess?” You smiled as you nudged Javi at the nickname he had been adamant about using since you had put on your costume.
“I’m good, thank you. I’m gonna go wait over on the swingset so I don’t completely reek of bonfire later.” Javi nodded as he slid his hand down your back, giving your ass a quick squeeze before making his way through the crowd, heading towards the house. Surprised no one else had capitalized on the chance to sit down, you wandered over to the wooden playset at the corner of the Murphy’s backyard, taking a seat on one of the plastic swings, kicking your feet against the grass below.
“Hey, there she is! How goes it, Leia?” Taking a few long strides through the yard, Steve was now quickly making his way over to you, stumbling over his own feet as he somehow managed to sit himself down on the swing next to you. You tried your best not to laugh at Steve’s drunken state, but his current antics weren’t making it very easy on you.
“I could ask the same to you. You doin’ okay there, pirate?”
“Fuck sweetheart, I’m doin’ fuckin’ great. Where’s the asshole?”
“Inside, I’m sure he’ll be back out soon.” You snickered at Steve watching the beer dribble down his chin from the overly confident swig he had taken.
“Good, I don’t need ‘em right now. You were the one I was lookin’ for.” Steve pointed in your general direction, but clearly wasn’t aware enough to hit his target head on.
“Me?” You laughed, pointing back to yourself.
“Yes, you. You talk to him yet?”
“About?” You paused, wondering if Steve had any inkling of the conversation you were planning to have earlier, or if he was drunkenly deciding you and Javi needed to discuss something else.
“You know about what. I talked to Connie earlier. I figured I owed it to you to come talk to you about it, too.”
Your heart began to race, that uncomfortable feeling once again beginning to churn in your stomach as you thought about the things you and Connie had discussed earlier. “Steve, you don’t owe me anything, I-”
“No, I do. Hold on a second.” Steve turned away, letting out a hearty burp, pouding on his chest before facing back towards you. “Sorry, I’ve been holdin’ that in for like 10 minutes, I needed to let it out. Anyways… What was I sayin’? Oh shit, yeah, the grumpy bastard. Listen, sweetheart. I know it’s gonna fuckin’ suck, but you gotta be the one to bring it up and talk to him about it. If I know anything about that motherfucker, it’s that he will bottle things up for way too fuckin’ long until someone gets it out of him. He’s a good guy. He says he’s not, but he is. Saved my ass more times than I can count. That job made us do some fucked up shit neither of us are fuckin’ proud of. But that doesn’t mean he gets to keep it from you. I swear to God, that asshole is so fuckin’ in love with you, it makes me sick. You make him so happy. He just doesn’t wanna fuck up the best thing that’s ever happened to him.”
You weren’t sure if it was the right thing to do, but in that moment, all you could manage was to reach over to the swing next to you, pulling Steve in for a hug as you tried to keep your tears from staining his shirt. “Thanks, Steve.” You whispered, leaning back into your seat, using your sleeve to wipe the wetness from your cheeks.
“I know you love him too. You deserve to know. Don’t let him be a stubborn jackass to you, okay? I’m bein’ serious. I should be the one thankin’ you though, honey. In all the years I’ve known him, I never thought I’d see ‘em this happy. I promise I won’t get this drunk at your wedding.” Steve winked, straining to push himself up out of the swing, somehow managing to catch his balance as he stumbled into the grass.
“You do make a very inspirational drunk, Steve.” You laughed to yourself, looking up at him with a genuine smile. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome. Alright, enough sap, I’m gonna go get another fuckin’ beer, I’ll see ya around okay?”
“Okay, maybe a water would be good for you, too.”
“Water’s for pussies.”
“Water’s good for people who don’t want raging hangovers tomorrow.”
“Pirates are always drunk, so I’ll be fuckin’ fine.”
“Whatever you say, Steve.”
It didn’t take long for Javi to return, easily spotting his tall, broad body making his way through the crowd, beaming at you as he walked over to the swings. You tried your best to smile back at him with the uneasy pounding in your chest quickly building, feeling your heartbeat in your throat. “Hey, Hermosa. Sorry it took so long, I ended up stopping to get another drink on the-“
“Do- Javi, do you trust me?”
Your words were quiet and blunt as they rolled off your tongue, your eyes peeled on your feet kicking through the grass beneath you.
Javi’s brow immediately scrunched in confusion, completely off put by your question and demeanor. “Do I- Baby, what are you talking about? Of course I trust you? What’s going on?” Setting down his drink, he began making his way next to you in frantic, worried strides.
“Then why won’t you talk to me about it?” Your eyes darted from the ground up to his, his sweet brown eyes swirling with confusion at the firm tone of your voice and desperation growing across your face.
“Talk to you about what? Hermosa, what’s going on? Is everything ok-”
“Why won’t you talk to me about Colombia?”
Javi took a step back. He wasn’t sure if it was out of defense, or absolute shock from the words that had just fallen out of your mouth. He stared at you for a moment, his jaw locking as you could see how hard he swallowed, trying to bide his time as he calculated his response.
“Osita… It’s not that simple.”
“That’s not an answer.”
“I don’t understand why we’re talking about this. Baby, if this is because of last night, you don’t need to worry about me, can we please just drop it?” The two of you faced each other in an unspoken standoff, Javi’s hands now resting on his hips as you crossed your arms over your chest. You had tried so hard to be patient, but in the moment, it was like all of your frustration was beginning to boil over.
“That’s exactly why we’re talking about this, Javi. Because I fucking worry about you. All the time. I’ve tried so hard to be patient. I’ve never, ever tried to get you to talk about it because I know it’s fucking hard. But last night, you’re up at 2 A.M, wandering around the apartment, and I’m begging you to tell me what’s wrong and you won’t fucking do it. I’m not an idiot, Javi. I can’t live in this weird in between space in your life where you pretend your past doesn’t exist when I know it still fucking haunts you. Why won’t you just talk to me about it?”
Javi could feel his heart pounding in his chest, his palms sweating as they clenched in tight fists at his sides. He tried so desperately to find an answer, something, anything he could tell you to try and justify his choices. The choices he had kept from you. The choices he couldn’t forgive himself for. “Because, I- fuck- because, goddamnit, I just- I was a terrible fucking person, okay? The things I did, they were-”
“What? Fucked up? Painful? Shitty? Of course they fucking were, Javi. You were literally in Colombia chasing down Pablo Fucking Escobar. What did you think I thought you were doing down there? Filing away paperwork? You don’t think I know that you did things you regret? That you’ve hurt people? Made choices that hurt innocent people who didn’t deserve it? I know Javi, I fucking know. I watched my brothers come back from the same goddamn thing. I tried so hard to give them space, to let them come to terms with the fucked up things they did on their own, and you know what fucking happened? One of them’s fucking dead because of it. I can’t let it happen again. I don’t care about what you did. It doesn’t make you a bad person. But you can’t try and hide it from me and pretend like it doesn’t exist. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. But I can’t if you don’t trust me. Please trust me. Please. I love you so much, Javi. I can’t lose you.”
Javi stood in silence, as the both of you fought the tears streaming down your cheeks. He wasn’t sure if he had just been hit in the gut with a giant sucker punch, or if the weight of the world had just been lifted off his shoulders. He truly didn’t know how to feel. He wasn’t even sure if he had heard you correctly. Did you really just tell him that you knew about the fucked up, terrible things he had done and that you didn’t care? That you still fucking loved him? All you wanted was for him to trust that you wanted to be there for him? He could feel his hands trembling and lip quivering as he tried to find the words to speak.
“Osita… I- fuck, baby. Osita, I’m so sorry. I trust you with my fucking life. You- You don’t deserve to have to deal with with all the fucked up things I’ve done. I don’t wanna scare you away, baby. You’re the best thing that’s ever fucking happened to me and I was so terrified if you found out about the terrible person I used to be, you’d leave. It’s not fair to you, I can’t expect you to carry the weight of all the fucking things I’ve done, too. I’m so sorry.” Quietly, Javi sat down next to you on the empty swing, burying his hands in his face. Gently, you reached over, pulling his hands away, forcing him to look at you.
“Whatever you tell me isn’t gonna scare me away. I promise. The only thing that’s gonna scare me is when you try to pretend you’re okay when you’re not. Javi… Javi, I just- I just wanna be there for you. I don’t want you to have to do it alone. I’d do anything for you. I trust you more than anyone. You’re my best friend. I just- fuck- I just want you to trust that I’ll always be there for you to. I promise.”
And just like that, the last brick holding up the wall between you and Javier Peña collapsed. There was nothing left to run from. Nothing left to hide. After he returned home, he was a changed man. He had hated the person he had become. Maybe there was a part of him that didn’t want to be loved, because he didn’t believe that he deserved to be. But then, there was you.
You.
You had taken everything he had known and changed his life for the better. You had become his better half, the person he loved more than anyone in the world. You had proved he was worthy of more than just existing- you had proved to Javi that he was worth the love and happiness you had promised him from the moment you had come into his life and made it worth living for.
“You promise?”
“I promise. Always.”
The way Javi grabbed you and wrapped you in his arms, grasping at the back of your shirt as he pulled you in tighter, feeling the hot breath of his silent sobs against your shoulder told you everything you needed to know. You didn’t know much, but if there was one thing you did know, it was that you loved Javier Peña more than life itself. As quickly as it had felt like your life had fallen apart, he had come into it and picked up the broken pieces to put it back together. And on an October night in San Antonio, sitting on an old wooden swing set in the Murphy’s backyard, you hoped that Javi knew that you would always be there to pick up the shattered parts of his past, too.
You weren’t sure how many hours had passed as you sat hand in hand in the swings with Javi as you listened to anything and everything he had to say. Long after the backyard was empty, and the bonfire had faded to embers and ashes, and the only one left awake besides the two of you was Connie, trying to drag Steve back inside from the plastic lawn chair he had passed out on, you finally made your way up to bed for the best sleep the two of you had in a very, very long time. Your goodbyes to the Murphy’s had been short and sweet- Connie exhausted from the late night, and Steve barley coherent from how hungover he was, you were still both so thankful the two of you had made the journey out to see them, and the both of you, just as grateful for the sweet and supportive life long friends you knew the Murphy’s would become. Most of your drive back to Laredo was spent in a comfortable silence, the golden sunrise spilling through the windows of Javi’s truck as you cruised down the highway, Javi’s hand never leaving yours, your fingers intertwined together as his thumb gently rubbed against your soft skin and your head rested against his broad shoulder.
“How are you feeling about seeing your mom today?” You asked, lightly squeezing his arm as you smiled up at him, now exiting off the freeway quickly approaching the cemetery where you planned to meet Chucho to celebrate Día De Los Muertos, trying your best to comfort Javi as he prepared to see his mom’s gravesite for the first time since her funeral almost a decade ago. Javi let out a quiet sigh, his grip tightening just a little tighter around your hand as he looked over at you, a surprisingly calm look flooding his face.
“I’m actually doing okay. Better than I would have thought. I think I was always so worried that she wouldn’t be proud of me and the man I’d become after she was gone. I um- I finally think that she’d be proud of me now.” He glanced over at you, his smile soft and tender as he soaked in the reason for his pride sitting right beside him.
You noticed Chucho’s truck as you pulled up to park along the edge of the small cemetery, Chucho excitedly waving you down as you both hopped out of the car. Walking around to Javi, you were quick to grab his hand, giving him a reassuring grip as the two of you made your way through the gravestones along the thin cobblestone path towards Chucho, already arranging the items he had collected for Lucia’s ofrenda.
“Hola, niños.” Chucho grinned, wrapping his arms around the both of you. “I’m so glad you’re here.”
“Thanks for letting me be a part of today, Chucho. I know… Well, I just- I’m really honored to- just, thank you.” Chucho wasted no time pulling you into your own hug, his rough and worn hands holding you by the shoulders as he looked at you with misty eyes.
“Mija, I should be thanking you. If it wasn’t for you, I don’t know if we would all be here today. Lucia’s last wish to me was that I would promise to make sure Javier was happy. Now hija, I think my sweet Lucia can rest a little easier knowing someone else has already fulfilled my promise for me.” As the two of you spoke, you hadn’t noticed as Javi had quietly stepped over to his mother’s gravestone, crouching next to it, his fingers delicately tracing along the engraved letters of her name, his other hand holding one of the marigold flowers Chucho had brought with him. The two of you watched quietly as Javi sat next to his mom, gently placing the flower on the shiny stone as he spoke.
“Hola, mamá. Te extrañé. Siento haber tarado tanto.” (Hi mom. I missed you. I’m sorry I took so long). Javi’s voice trembled as he took a deep breath in, slowly exhaling as his hand rested on the stone, warm from the sun, shining brightly in the blue November sky. “Que estaba asustada de de verte porque estaba orgullosala de la persona en la que me había convertido. Que no quería decepcionarte. Tenía miedo mucho, mamá. Me sentí como si todo se derrumbase. solo quería olvidar. Pero entonces…” (I was scared to see you because I wasn’t proud of the person I’d become. I didn’t want to disappoint you. I was so scared, mom. I felt like I let everyone down. I just wanted to forget. But then…). Javi turned his head, seeing you and Chucho, arm in arm, a smile growing across his face as looked back at the two people in life he loved the most. He took an extra moment to stare at you and the soft grin spread between your cheeks, basking in the comfort and warmth of the woman who had forever changed his life for the better. (But then, mom, I met her. She is perfect. I never knew you could love someone so much. She is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. You would have loved her. She’s a teacher too. Sometimes, I wonder what she sees in me. I don’t know what I did to deserve her. I’m gonna ask her to marry me. I’m gonna take such good care of her. She deserves everything I can give her and more. I hope you’re proud of me, mamá. I miss you so much, but I promise you, I’m finally happy. I love you, mom.)
With a gentle nudge from Chucho, you softly stepped behind Javi, gently placing your hands on his shoulders before he rose up and you wrapped your arms around his waist, resting your head against his chest as he wiped away the tears welling behind his eyes. Staring down at Lucia’s gravestone, Javi ran his hand through your hair, carefully planting a kiss against your head and burying his nose in the soft waves of your hair.
“I wish I would have had the chance to have met you, Mrs. Peña. I would have had someone else to commensurate with over all of the crazy teaching stories I’m sure the both of us have. Maria, Estelle and Linda all miss you a lot too, but I’m sure they haven’t changed a bit. Thanks for raising such a good son. I don’t know what I would do without him. I know he says that he doesn’t know what he did to deserve me, but I really think it should be the other way around. I promise I’ll look out for him.” You tried your best to smile through your soft sobs, looking up at Javi, tears streaming down his wet cheeks. It wasn’t long before Chucho had snuck up behind you, patting each of you on the back before smiling down at Lucia, too.
“Estos dos están tan enamorados, Lucia. Tal vez más que tú y yo. Ella es una buena chica. Estoy muy contenta de que ella sea parte de nuestra familia. Finalmente tendremos a nuestros nietos, también.” (These two are so in love, Lucia. Maybe even more than you and I. She is a great girl. I am so happy she is a part of our family. We are finally going to get our grandchildren, too). Chucho winked, nudging Javi in the side, forcing him to laugh through his tears, shaking his head at his dad’s comment. “Now, no more tears, you two. This is a happy day. Your mamá is smiling down on you, and I can almost hear here scolding me to keep you from crying anymore. C’mon, let’s decorate and eat, I even brought pozole.”
The three of you spent the next hour decorating Lucia’s grave with bright orange and gold cempazuchitl (marigold flowers) and little Calaveras (sugar skulls) painted in bold colors and refined details, sharing and laughing about Javi’s favorite memories of his mother while snacking on the Pozole Chucho had brought to share. For the first time in a long time, Javi no longer felt guilt and grief when he thought about his mom- her memory filled him with love and joy. He wasn’t the same bitter, broken man he was when he had said his final goodbyes to his mother all those years ago. While he wished he could change the past, the reality of the present, and his future finally brought him peace, knowing he could be proud of the man he had become, thanks to you.
As Javi helped Chucho to clean up the extra flowers and decorations he had brought, you couldn’t help yourself from reaching at the wrinkled photo you had shoved in your pocket as you had packed up to leave from the Murphy’s this morning. You carefully took it out, holding it gently in your hands as you tried to uncrinkle the edges. “You ready, Hermosa?” Javi called out, now a few steps ahead of you, making his way back towards the truck. “Hermosa?” He asked again, thinking perhaps you hadn’t heard him the first time. When he was greeted by silence again, he looked back to see you staring at the crumpled photo in your hands.
“I um- I know that he isn’t buried here, and uh, if you don’t want me to, it’s okay- but um- is it, is it alright if I leave a couple flowers for Patrick?” You sniffed, a tear dropping down on the photo of the two of you, Patrick holding you in a headlock as you laughed with a wide, toothy grin, drowning in one of his old Blackhawks jerseys that you were so excited to wear because it belonged to him.
“Of course, Osita. Of course it is.” Javi smiled at you softly, turning back around with the tub of leftover decorations, making his way towards you. Quietly, you walked back over to Lucia’s gravestone, carefully setting down the picture of you and Patrick next to it, putting a few marigolds over top of it so it stayed pinned in place from the warm breeze.
“I miss you, asshole. You deserved so much better. I hope you don’t still think that I hate you. I mean, I do, but you know what I mean. Honestly, you were lucky you didn’t have to live through the Blackhawks losing in the playoffs this year, that fucking sucked. Mom and Dad and Charlie and David all miss you too. I finally went back home to see them. It still wasn’t the same without you there, but I know you don’t hurt anymore. I hope that you don’t hurt anymore. I love you, Patrick. Crack open a cold one up there for me, okay?” Trying your best to not to uncontrollably sob, you sniffled, wiping the tears running down your face as you leaned your head against Javi’s chest. He ran his hand along your back as he held you tighter, letting you take a moment to get everything out before you took a deep breath, nodding your head as if to signify to Javi and yourself that you were okay.
“You okay, Osita? We can take all the time you need, baby.” Javi whispered, pressing a gentle kiss into your shoulder.
“No, I’m okay. I just- I wanted to do something for him, too. Thanks, Javi. I love you.”
“I know.”
After several more long hugs goodbye with Chucho, you and Javi began your journey back home, marveling at the beautiful sunset, painting the sky with bright pinks and oranges and the warmth and comfort of Lucia and Patrick’s presence. You were so lost in thought staring out at the fading sky, you hadn’t even noticed that Javi had detoured from your usual route home until he had said something to you. “You okay if we make a quick pit stop on the way home, Osita?” You nodded, smiling at the golden glow covering his face. It wasn’t long until you were veering off the main road, Javi turning to make his way down a tree lined gravel pathway with a “For Sale” sign posted in front of it.
“For sale?” You questioned, looking over at Javi before peering out your window to watch the trees lining the path pass by you as the gravel crunched under the truck’s tires.
“Yeah, uh- I was talking with Steve at the party yesterday and he- uh, one of his buddies said he was looking to get out of the city- wanted a plot of land to build on. Said he had heard good things about Laredo but didn’t have time to go check things out for himself, so I told him I would go take a look around and let Steve know what I thought.” Javi replied, trying his best to sound nonchalant as you shrugged before looking back out the window. As you reached the end of the path, the trees opened to reveal a beautiful, lush green field, the sun setting perfectly along the rolling hills of the horizon in front of you. Turning off the ignition, Javi gestured for the both of you to get out of the truck so you could go take a look around.
“Jav… This is beautiful.” You marveld, grinning as you took in the beauty of the open space drenched in golden sunset.
“You like it?” Javi grinned, laughing as you spun around, the gentle breeze blowing your hair in and out of your face.
“Oh my God, yeah. Tell Steve’s friend to get on this place ASAP before I scrounge up every penny I have and sell one of my kidneys on the black market to buy it from him. There doesn’t even need to be a house, I’ll just lay in the empty field, perfectly content.” You giggled, letting out a happy sigh as you grabbed Javi’s hand, leaning your head against his arm as you admired the sun slipping away below the horizon.
“I’ll take that as a yes then. He said he’s wanting to build a house here, do you think- do you think that he would think it’s got enough space? It’s not too far from everything? I know it’s a little farther from downtown and a longer drive to work- if uh, if he works by where we do, you don’t think that’d be a problem? For him?” Javi squeezed back, trying his best not to stumble over his words.
“Are you kidding me? It’s literally perfect out here, Javi. Could you imagine getting to see this every night? He better put some big windows on this house so he can get all of the sunlight, oh my god, it would be so pretty. It’s not even that far from everything, and the view makes the extra drive time worth every minute. I know it’s probably a far way off, and we haven’t really talked about it, but I would love to live at a place like this someday.”
Javi smiled to himself, looking down at you as you rested against him, soaking in every ounce of you as he shifted his arm to wrap around your waist, gently rubbing his thumb along the soft hem of your shirt before letting out a content sigh.
“Yeah. Me too.”

hit me, part 1.5 (bonussss!)
wc: 1.5k, largely unedited warnings: swearing/language, very very light talk of smut, drug use (alcohol) a/n: hi everyone. the feedback on part one made me so so happy that i wanted to drop this for ya'll. i hope u like it ;) tags: @elliewilliamsmunch@intrnetdoll@me-and-your-husband@3zae-zae3@milahnoz@elliescumm
For context, this chapter takes place 4 years before part one, or where *reader is 16 and Ellie is 19*.This part is simply to explore an interesting friendship dynamic, teenage sexuality, and some backstory to Ellie + reader.
*I do not condone underage relationships and there will be no insinuations, assumptions, or even words that would suggest Ellie being romantically interested in reader at this point considering their age gap.*
I know this makes it sound super serious but i PROMISE YOU its not. i had to put in a disclaimer simply for respect and safety reasons. enjoy!

part 1
"'Natty Light'? What the hell is that?"
"It's beer," Ellie reassures you. "it's what the college folk drink. Want some?" She says, offering out the can in her hand.
"I think I'll wait until I become...college folk." You remark, unsure.
Ellie liked being around you. When your dumbass boyfriend wasn't trying drown you with his spit every six minutes. God, he's such a dick. Ellie couldn't wait for you to grow up and see the scum of the world without youth clouding your eyes. Scum not just including your boyfriend, obviously, but mainly him.
You sit on Ellie's bed, flipping your phone back and forth between your hands like you'd been doing the entire hour you've been here.
Ellie knew what that meant. It meant that he hadn't responded for a couple days, and you're just starting to get anxious about it.
Fucking. Dick.
"What do you do in college?" You ponder.
"Fuck girls, get high, get drunk, and maybe learn. Not sure." Ellie says mindlessly. She didn't see the point in college. Thought it was a waste of time and energy. She also didn't have the money to attend.
"Or at least, that's what I would do." Ellie finishes, snatching your phone from your hands.
She chugs around half of the can after she finishes talking, topping it off with a burp.
"Give it back, Ellie." You demand.
"Why? If he hasn't texted in four days he's not gonna start now."
Ellie regretted saying that almost immediately. Sometimes you seemed so...grown up. It was hard to censor herself around you. Especially when it's something she's been trying to tell you forever.
She sees your face fall, head turn swiftly towards her window. You liked how she had a bunch of sketches up there, and when the sun shined through it you'd always say it 'looked like all of her drawings were glowing'. Ellie smiled so hard when you'd said that. One million watts for sure.
Some of them were of her current girlfriend. Some of them of her ex-girlfriends. Some of them of Dina. All you really wanted was to see yourself up there.
You were too nervous around Ellie to ask her to do anything like that. Like drawing you.
"Y'know he wasn't that way in the beginning. I used to really...like him, I think." You mutter, still facing the window.
Ellie scoffs.
"You think?"
"I'm being serious, Ellie. It's like you don't listen to me cause you think you know everything. You're not even that much older than me."
"Oh yeah? What's a condom?" She asks, eyeing you.
You don't even say anything.
"So is that because you don't know? Or--"
"Shut the fuck up. Give me my phone back already." You huff, frustrated.
"Oooh shes swearing now?" Ellie teases. She watches as your face gets all pink as you get more irritated. You cross your arms hastily. It was fun to make you mad, Ellie thought.
"You should break up with Cat."
Uh, what?
"I'm sorry?" Ellie questions, less upbeat than she was a moment ago.
"I'm tired of you nagging me about my boyfriend. Cat's not very much better than he is. In my opinion."
"Christ, you sound like Joel," Ellie spits.
If there's one thing Ellie never expected from you, it was this. You usually never breached the subject of Ellie's love life. Ellie didn't mind not talking about it, she knew you weren't homophobic or anything. She just thought, honestly, that you were disinterested. So she never really...brings Cat up.
"If you can talk about my boyfriend than I can talk about Cat. It's...fair."
"It's fucking different. You don't get it."
"Why?! You always say that," You retort, sitting up a little taller on the bed. "Just—just because I'm dating a guy and you're dating a girl?"
"Yes. Literally, yes. It's fuckin' different, I don't know what else to say." Ellie remarks, throwing the can she emptied minutes ago onto the floor. She grabs a new can from the pack, cracking it open on the spot.
"Tell me, then." You say. "Tell me how it's different."
"Well, first of all, no dicks—"
"Ellie."
She huffs out a big sigh before starting again.
"I don't even—" She burps.
"I don't even know why you wanna know. And like, right now, of all times."
When Ellie asks you that, you freeze. Obviously, noticeably, freeze. Because, well, you didn't even know why you wanted to know. You just did.
"I—I just wanna know more about you, I guess." You stutter out.
Ellie's eyes narrow. Are you...nervous?
"I know he's not a good boyfriend. I know that, Ellie. You think I'm stupid and I'm not. But I can't break up with him."
Ellie still feels like that's total bull.
"Why not."
"I just can't! It's like—it feels, like, safer, to be with him."
"That guy is anything but fucking safe—"
"You know what I mean." You say quietly.
"No, I don't." Ellie says, trying to look into your eyes.
Your head was faced downward toward the bed. Ellie practically screamed through her thoughts. You couldn't even look at her. Had she been too mean to you? In Ellie's mind, it always feels lighthearted. She didn't always take the time to make sure other people took it that way.
Finally, you look up, meeting Ellie's eyes.
"You...don't? You don’t get what I mean?”
"No, y/n. I have zero fuckin' clue. Am I...supposed to?" She questions, clearly starting to get confused.
Safe? Safe? It feels safer?! Ellie was fucking lost.
How could being with that piece of shit feel any safer than being fucking alone?
"I—y'know what, nevermind. It's dumb. I don't even know what I mean. I just thought that you would get it—for some reason. It's stupid. Sorry." You mumble out, trying to forget whatever miniscule things you were telling her.
"Don't say sorry, you didn't even fuckin' do anything," Ellie quips. "Why me?"
"I don't know. I just...thought of...you." You trail off, rubbing at your shoulders.
Yeah, whatever you were talking about? It made you really fucking nervous.
"Hmm..." Ellie hums, hopping off of the bed and beginning to rummage through a desk drawer. "Here."
"...What."
"Would you like to hear the story of my first gay crush?" She grins, knowing absolutely that you'll want to hear.
She hops back onto the bed, sitting a little closer to you.
Ellie knew she was a good storyteller, but you were by far her best listener. It's endearing, how engaged you get. Never even daring to take a glance anywhere but at Ellie.
"So her name was Riley. And I was...youngish, but—I knew for sure that my feelings were...gay feelings, y'know?"
"Well how'd you know?" You ask bluntly.
"Well I wanted to like, hold her hand? And stuff? I wanted to...to take her places. Like, cool places I found outside, and like, dumb little lookout points. I'd draw her tiny pictures of things she liked. Write stupid little notes and shit. I would make her...bracelets and, things she could wear. Stuff that didn't really cost anything. I don't know...I just kinda...knew."
You don't respond. Your eyes are glossy, barely gazing at Ellie.
"Y/N, you good?" Ellie laughs, grabbing your shoulder and shaking it a bit to get your attention.
"Yeah! I'm fine, sorry. Got in my head a little."
"Right, right, wanna see somethin' stupid?" She says, awaiting your response.
"Sure."
She picks up the item she was rummaging for a minute ago. It's a post it note.
"Oh! Can I read it?" You beg, excited to see the parts of Ellie's life you're so unfamiliar with.
"Hah, yeah, go for it. I promise you it's...underwhelming." She hands you the blue paper, drawing side down.
You begin to read.
"You are the prettiest girl I've ever seen. I drew you a penguin wearing a hat that says, 'you are the prettiest…princess…ever'. Best wishes, Ellie." You smile without meaning to.
You give her the post-it note back.
"I wish I got notes like this. Do guys...do that?" You ask.
"Um, maybe some? I wouldn't know." Ellie admits.
She wanted to say no, y/n, no guy will do that until you get married, probably, because that was the truth. However, seeing how happy you were at somebody else's love note, she didn't have the heart to say it. Ellie didn't mind letting you be sheltered a little longer if it made you happy.
Before the two of you could say anything else, a phone chimes.
Your phone.
It's him.
"Oh thank god. Ellie, I have to call him. Can I call him? I'll be back in a second I swear," You ramble, basically sprinting out the door to talk to the meathead in your phone.
Fuck.
One day you'll grow up. Ellie knows this. She sees how you change every day. It still makes her feel funny to see you so...dishonest with yourself.
The day you break up with that dick is the day I fucking win, Ellie thinks.
And that day occurred exactly a week later.
After Ellie had already left.

Bridget x fem!oc
"Hi!" Jennie squeaked out, her hand tightening around Bridgets as they watched Uliana grab their bags and rummage through them, giving Jennie's to Hook to dump onto the ground for cash.
"Hello to you little mouse, how is your friend piggy going?" Bridget stared wide eyed, and Jennie couldn't so much more than wrap her arms around her arm and clutch it to her chest.
"I have no cash! Please don't dump it out...." She trialed off, her eyes trialing down to the ground where the little box laid just under a few papers.
"No!" The hook that replaced James' hand almost hooked into her skin, but she managed to snatch the box and stuff it into her skirt, sitting crouched after rolling to soften her fall.
Dashing back over to Bridget, who stepped back and shielded her, glancing over her shoulder at the two, Hook smirking as he held his hook up to point at Jennie.
"And what might that be eh? Some valuables?" His shark-like eyes followed Jennie as she squeaked and hid her head into Bridget's shoulder, who wrapped her arms around her tighter.
"Stop it Hook, don't let the faggot get too close." Uliana grinned, holding the cash she found in the bags, signalling for him to follow her out of the courtyard.
"Are you okay?" Bridget looked down at Jennie, who looked back wide eyed.
"I should be asking you that, are you alright? I'm sorry I can't protect you-."
"Don't even try it sweets, you're my baby." The princess hugged her tightly, kissing her forehead softly.
"Y-yeah...." Honestly, the blonde couldn't care less about whatever she just said, the box was burning in her pocket as her senses got overwhelmed by Bridget.
"Hey guys, what's up." Ella walked up to them, arching a brow at the leather bag and its contents laying splattered on the ground, Bridget's laying next to it.
"The sky, silly!" Bridget giggled, detaching herself from Jennie to hold onto Ella's hands.
"Nothing much, I'm just gonna- yeah." The girl looked down at her bag, then back at her two friends, who were already wrapped up in talking to each other, and crouched down to get the two bags together again.
"Oh! Thanks Jennie! You're such a sweetheart!" She kissed her cheek, hugging her briefly before she and Ella went away, probably to go do homework in Bridget's dorm.
"I- am." She looked down at her back, shuffling her mary janes closer to each other nervously, the pink rimmed socks seemed so silly now, why would she even think pink would look good on her, she should try Blue, Bridget likes Blue too right? I mean she loves pink but she didn't even blink at her clothes today so-
Jennie shook her head, that was ridiculous, she should change out of these stupid pink things now, why did she spend money on that stupid blouse and skirt.
-
A week later, it was blue, she had found a good light blue vest in the back of her closet, matched with a white skirt and blue socks, her leather mary janes shining in the sunlight once she stepped out, the dark blue ribbon tied around her neck neatly turned into a bow.
"Hi Bridget!" Her wave slowed down as she watched Ella throw an insult to Uliana, guiding Bridget away from them.
She followed them with her eyes, clutching her briefcase, desperately trying to lock eyes with Bridget, her princess.
Her gritted teeth didn't stop her from fleeing once she realised Uliana wasn't distracted anymore, her shoes clicked through the marble halls, rushing to her class, she'll change back during break.
-
"Bridget!" Jennie smiled, her best smile, the only smile she'd ever show Bridget, the others are too ugly, too much teeth, too wide, why would you scrunch your nose? Only Bridget does that right.
"Sweets! Have you met the new transfers?" Jennie had to force herself not to pull a face when she saw they touched her Bridget, she's not yours, shut up.
"I hadn't! How nice to meet other transfers!" Transfer back.
"You transferred too?" The redhead tilted her head, Jennie had to force herself to smile Bridget's smile at them, why would she waste that on some rando's.
"Yeah, I came from Wonderland a bit after Bridget!" The princess in question giggled, grabbing her hand with a smile.
"You missed me so much it's adorable!" Jennie wanted to glare at everyone around her when Bridget hugged her, but at the same time gloat about her kissing her cheek.
"I did...." She 'bashfully' looked down, blushing, more from Bridget being close than actual embarrassment, why would she be embarrassed about the truth? She missed Bridget so much she was going crazy.
"I'm Chloe! You?" Right, the other things.
"I'm Jennie! And who might you be?" Red had been staring with wide eyes for most of the time since she recognised the girl, who had been locked away in the dungeons since forever, looking like she had only been there for a few minutes, and completely crazy.
"Uh- yeah, I'm Red." Why would Bridget ever talk to someone that looked like that.
-
"Jennie?" Why does Ella feel like talking to her, doesn't Bridget give her enough attention for two? Three? Possibly the whole school?
"What's wrong?" I would never say the name of such a dirty obstacle, why would Bridget talk to something like that? So dirty....
"Could you go check up on Bridget for me please? I can't get to her today but she said she isn't feeling too well." Bridget isn't doing well and she told that?! Why would she ever tell her?! Why do I have to hear about it from the cinder girl?
"Of course I will! No worries, I'll go over there with some soup!" She smiled at Ella, who grinned back before leaving her alone to ponder.
"Why would Bridget tell that thing and not me?" She muttered, her pencil digging into her notebook, the point snapping off and flying up a bit, not noticing the two transfers behind her.
Red glanced over at Chloe, who was staring wide eyed at the blonde girl, who was scribbling harshly into her notebook with the left over pencil.
They quickly shook it off when she stood up, stuffing her stuff into her briefcase and turning around to walk away, her blue eyes widening when she noticed them.
She quickly composed herself, standing straight and frowning at them, she didn't feel like trying for some transfers that Bridget barely talks to.
"What." Chloe stepped back a bit, Jennie arching a brow, grimacing slightly.
"Nothing- just wanted to ask you something about Uliana and her gang." Jennie scoffed, leaning back on the table as she stared at the two, unimpressed.
"Is this about the flamingo thing? That was me, I'll deal with it." Red shot Chloe a glare, screaming 'told you so'.
"Right... well they're planning on pranking Bridget back, it won't be very pretty." The switch up was crazy, Jennie's uninterested picking at her nails turned into her rushing off, presumably to Bridget.
-
"Bridget? I got you some soup, heard you weren't doing well!" Jennie smiled, opening the door to her dorm, holding the plate with the soup in one hand and looking over at the sick princess.
"Ella?" The pink haired girl looked up weakly, tilting her head, the cloud of curls moving to cover one side of the pillow.
"No." Fuck! Too cold!
"Oh, I was kinda expecting her to stop by..." Why did she sound so disappointed? Is this why she didn't tell me? Does she like Ella or something?!
"Can I tell you something?" Bridget coughed out once Jennie had helped her sit up, now assisting her in eating her soup, sitting next to her on the bed.
"Mhm, always my princess." The box was burning through her skin, she should just give it to her already, if she kept pushing it back it'll be too late!
"I think I like Ella." Too late.
-
"I'm in here for a reason Red. Now go." The icy glare send her way almost made the 10-year old scream for the guards, but she refrained, inspecting the woman who hadn't changed at all since she'd discovered her.
"Why are you here?"
"Who is your father." Red looked down, and Jennie bit back a smirk, she was living proof someone touched her Bridget, she'll figure it out, she'll be let out soon enough.
"Mom doesn't talk about you-," her eyes widened, " -Who are you?" The woman had fallen silent, her white hair seemed to brighten her skin even more, which already stood out against the black stone.
"I am...." She seemed to think about it, not daring to look away, staring the princess down, her fingers tracing over the folds in her skirt.
"I'm the Queen's, nothing else." Red slowly tilted her head, weird.
-
That soon, happened to be, very soon.
Because now, Jennie was kneeling before the Queen of Hearts, holding her hand to her lips and kissing it softly, staring up at her.
"My Queen." The Queen smirked, pulling her hand back and gesturing for Red to come closer.
"Do you see her, Red? You'll have to find someone like this when you become queen, someone who'll fight for you." The princess slowly nodded, still staring at the bloodied ground of the village that had resisted, and the blood that Jennie had furiously scrubbed at on her face, which had turned into the only scratch she had, in an attempt to get the blood off of her face she just shaved off a bit of her skin.
"Who'll die for you." Red could only watch with wide eyes as her mother held out her hand, the bloodied sword Jennie held got wiped clean on her own palm before she even let it touch the Queen's skin, and she softly placed it down.
"The blood of the grass and ground of the deepest hells can't go up against the comparison of the sun and moon, my love can't touch but won't diminish, won't lessen but can't broaden." The Queen patted her head, tilting it up by her chin.
"Good job sweets." It pained Red to watch Jennie's eyes light up, staring at her mother as if nothing else mattered, which, knowing her, it probably didn't.
"Anything for my queen."
-
"Red! My daughter!" Bridget smiled as she approached her daughter at the ceremony, wrapping her arms around the stiffened girl, who watched with wide eyes as Jennie stalked closer, eyes narrowed and zeroed in on her as if she knew something.
"Where were you?" Her suspicions were waved off by Bridget, who happily giggled and dragged Red away and to her new dorm, which she would be sharing with Chloe.
"Jennie!" Ella called out to the woman, who ignored her, and was planning on walking straight past her, if it wasn't for Bridget stopping and smiling brightly at the fellow queen.
"Our daughters will be sharing a dorm! How exciting is this?!" The way Jennie forced herself to look Ella in the eye gave away her excitement.
"Yes, another Charming." She spat out, Bridget slapping her arm.
"Gods, what happened for you to hate them so!" Jennie couldn't help but smile at her, moving to grab onto her hand, but she had already moved on to grasp Ella's.
“You just have to join us for dinner! It’ll be so fun! We’ll have one final dinner with our families before our daughters leave the nest!” The blonde staggered in her movements when Bridget hadn’t grabbed her hands, but quickly started up again to stand beside the queen with crossed arms.
“Yeah, with the family.” She rolled her eyes, and Bridget sighed, turning and finally grabbing her hands, looking in her eyes.
“Would you mind going back to wonderland to take care of the duties for today? I swear I don’t want you to-!” Jennie had tuned her out, staring blankly at her face.
First I have to share attention with some kid, and after a lifetime of devotion this is what I get? She should be mine, mine to love, mine to cherish, mine to keep, why does she keep teasing me, I just want her to be mine.
Why doesn’t she want to be mine?

Shoot to Thrill (Yandere Floyd)
Requested on Quotev! This is a bit short.
Title: Shoot to Thrill
Pairings: Floyd Leech x Reader
WARNINGS: Yandere themes, mafia AU
Summary: You’re given over to Floyd in place of your parents’ debts.
“Shoot to thrill, play to kill
I got my gun at the ready, gonna fire at will, yeah
I'm like evil, I get under your skin
Just like a bomb that's ready to blow”
-From “Shoot to Thrill” by AC/DC
“You’ll do anything for your parents, right?”
“You understand that this is the only way, don’t you?”
The black car comes for you in the dead of night and you climb in, sandwiched between your mother and father in the back seat. The driver never turns to look back at you, never says a word on the entire silent ride.
You can’t look out the tinted windows because your parents block them with their bowed heads. So you stare ahead blankly, trying hard not to think about what you’re about to face.
The car comes to a stop much too quickly for your liking. The driver opens the left side door and you and your family climb out slowly.
The house in front of you is huge- definitely considered a mansion by everyday standards. The lights filter through the windows, lighting up the night and casting eerie shadows across the sprawling front lawn. There’s a tacky hedge maze to the right of the manor and you can’t help but scoff at how rich people waste their money.
As you and your parents approach the tall double doors, they open and a man motions for you to walk through the doorway. Your parents, as meek as ever, wait for you to enter before they do. You trudge after the man who opened the door, tears pricking your eyes as you wonder what’s to come of you.
You’re led to the living room of the mansion, where a man is draped over the sofa lankily. One strand of darker hair hangs lazily from his head, his yellow and gray eyes scrutinizing you from behind the strand the moment you walk through the archway.
A chandelier hangs directly above you and you wish it would fall on your head and bring an end to this torture.
“Mr. Leech, we’ve come to, um, offer up our daughter in place of our debt.”
You stare up at the chandelier, blinking back tears. You’re furious with this man before you, who bullies and threatens his clients. You’re furious at your parents, for even thinking of handing you over like this. And, most of all, you’re furious with yourself for being too weak to fight this.
Floyd Leech grins widely, “You’re giving up your only child so you don’t have to pay me?” His lidded eyes look you up and down and his smile only grows. You try not to let your disgust show when he reaches forward and grabs your hand, tugging you closer to him.
“Shrimpy’s pretty cute,” he coos, and it’s then that you know your fate is sealed.
“I’ll take her.”
—----------------
Floyd plays with a strand of your hair, burying his face into the side of your neck, landing a gentle kiss on it and chuckling when you shudder. His hands are flaked with dried blood and you know what that means.
He always seeks your companionship after killing someone.
Maybe it’s the guilt of committing murder, or maybe it gets him riled up, but either way, you were his cuddle buddy for at least a couple of hours. You begin to squirm in discomfort, trying to give yourself some space from him.
The bulge of a gun grazes your side as he holds you closer. It’s a subtle warning.
Your fighting spirit evaporates.
You hate your parents. You hate him. You hate yourself.
If only you had been just a little stronger.

Im gonna try to switch to a flip phone
Ive wanted to do this, or at least unplug a little from my smart phone for a while, but I always cave and reinstall my apps and start using my phone again. My screen time was 10 hours a day average last week and that is absolutely embarrassing to me. To keep myself accountable, I'm gonna list my reasons why I wanna do this.
Mental health: High smartphone usage is being linked to higher rates of mental health especially among teens. Social media and the constant bombardment of information is very stimulating on the mind and thats turning out to not be very good for you.
Attention Span: My attention span is kinda dogshit... I catch myself opening my phone to scroll social media while my sims game is loading WHILE I'm watching youtube...
Dumb shit: I see a lot of dumb shit (mainly on twt and insta) and it makes me so angry but then I catch myself wanting more and more of that. I know I have anger issues and for myself, I shouldn't be purposefully doing that. Internet discourse takes up too much of my brain space to where I'll talk about it in real life...
General dependence: It's just a piece of metal, why does it feel like a limb I need to have on me at all times? I don't need to fall asleep and wake up with this thing in my hands.
Oversharing: I overshare a lot to the point I get embarassed about it. It's a little harder to do this when you're using your computer because you have to be intentional about your internet use. You have to sit down and some features are limited on web (ie insta stories) so you can't just say anything.
I want to appreciate other things: As I said, I spend an average of 10 hours a day on my phone and I feel like I'm wasting my time. I don't feel like im doing enough in my days because most of it is going into staring into a screen. I want to read more and remember to flip my compost and do more things in a day than sit hunched into a screen.
Physical health: I have bad eyesight and a bad back. Staring into a screen is not helping either of those.
Compulsive shopping: I have got some cool stuff, but again, I want to be more intentional in my actions, including shopping. I've found myself spending money a little too loosely lately, and I'd like to think my purchases through more.
There's probably more, but thats all I can think of right now. I'm gonna make a big shift tonight and sleep without my phone in my bed. That sounds silly to make a big deal of, but ive done it for maybe 4 years now, even when I was on vacation last month.
So yeah, thats my new adventure: Beating the addiction to my phone.

Wait please more y/n (Regina’s sister) x janis!! Even if it’s just the occasional fluffy one shot they’re so cute 😭😭😭
Euphoria
Janis ‘Imi’ike x fem! reader(+ big sister Regina)
Warnings: coarse language, fluff, smut
Another part added to the Janis Crush mini series! Part one / two / three / four / five
"Oh, my God! What are you two doing?!"
"Nothing!"
"This is nothing?!"
"Yeah?" You squinted at your sister.
"What the fuck is on the floor?"
“Some cake batter? Relax, Regina.” Janis squinted at the blonde, annoyed.
“I just worked a nine hour shift dealing with stupid shit so don’t expect me to clean up after you two.”
“No one’s expecting you to. I’ll clean it up, it’s not like we did it on purpose.” Janis continues, already grabbing a paper towel to wipe it up.
“Well, half the bowl of it is on the floor, so were you guys just playing with it?”
You look at your sister, bewildered. “I spilled it, okay? Is that what would make you stop yelling at me like I did something like stole your money? It was an accident! She handed me the bowl and didn’t hold onto it properly, I wasn’t prepared and it fell.”
You were helping to clean it up to but you got incredibly pissed at her tone so you just decided to leave the room, not wanting to make things worse.
“You didn’t have to yell at her like that, you know? You know your sister— she’ll never do something like that and waste food.” Janis spoke quietly but the annoyance in her voice was apparent, “She wanted to make you a cake for your birthday tomorrow. We were trying out recipes to make sure they were good and that we were able to actually make a decent one. I finally got her out of bed and you come home and lash out? I get that work sucks because you have to deal with some really unreasonable and rude customers but that girl did nothing to upset you.”
Regina blinked profusely, snapping out of the mood, “You finally got her out of bed? What does— she’s fine? Is she not?”
“She was just sad, your Mom canceled on her for lunch.” Janis explained with a sigh, cleaning off the remaining of the spill on the floor and tossing the paper towels into the trash, “Whatever. Go calm down before we even talk.”
"What?" Regina's anger immediately went away, "I canceled on lunch with my Mom."
"So then she must've asked y/n after you canceled." Janis shrugged, ready to leave that room and find you. "I'm gonna go look for your sister now, you try not to go crazy."
Janis walks into your room after knocking on the door that was left ajar. "Hi, honey."
You looked over your shoulder and glanced at her for a second but went back to looking down at your feet. "She's just stressed, don't take it to heart."
"It's not even that. I just haven't been in a good mood today. I never shouldn't have said yes to lunch with my mom. That way she could not disappoint me by canceling on me."
“I see that, baby. I hear you and that’s okay, that’s so valid.” Janis sat down with you, winding an arm around your waist. You’ve been holding back the tears since your mom canceled on you, and having Regina raise your voice at you was all it needed to fall from your eyes. Janis being so…soft with you only made you cry harder.
Well, you weren’t wailing or anything but it did feel very vulnerable to just cry like that.
Eventually you were laying down, she moved along with you and was right next to you. The crying stopped, you were all cried out— especially after the memories of how she left you alone multiple times flooded your brain.
“Do you feel better?”
“A little.” You admit, biting your lip as you got a little risqué idea in your head, “Uh…”
You looked at her, the nervousness obvious in your gaze. “God I don’t know how to say this.”
Janis narrows her eyes for a second, worried, “Hey, what’s wrong, hun? You can tell me anything, alright?”
You were just frozen, looking at her as she stared right back into your eyes. “Oh. Oh, you want me to—”
“Can you? Please?”
“Well since you asked so nicely…” A cheeky smile shows up on her face. “Obviously I can, and I will. Fuck yes.“
You laughed at that bold last two words, “Okay. Fuck yes.”
Janis leans in to kiss you, but you pulled away, “Is the door— shit. I better lock—”
“I got it.” Janis says and got up to lock your door before you could, then she immediately returned. “Okay. Come on.”
She pulled you closer, somehow then shifting so that she was straddled on top of you. Your lips? Still connected with hers. And this, was the very first time you’d gotten this far with her. You guys have never even kissed like this, in this position. But at this moment, you couldn’t care less about the nerves. All you wanted was to keep feeling her lips on yours. And Janis was very happy to do that since you could get what you wanted. She always was.
With a pillow beneath your head, you were more than comfortable. Feeling lips moving away from your mouth got your heart racing a little more at this new gesture. Her lips kissed it’s way along your jaw, then moved again to your neck, kissing every little part of it in varying pressures to figure out what you liked. When you whined, Janis gleefully repeated this a few times over to work you up and relax you, too. You did tense up a little, which she felt, but she assured you it was fine. With a chuckle, which fanned against your skin she asks, “You okay?”
“I am.” You told her, exhaling harshly as her lips continued working over that certain spot. You started to squirm, which made her smile and chuckle. It gave you butterflies in your chest, god you loved that feeling even though it could be a little uneasy. “Good.” She hums, you feel her palm caressing your side, shifting slightly and ending up on the hem of your t-shirt. “Can I take this off, honey?”
“Yeah.” You nodded decidedly. And so, she carefully, but swiftly pulls the shirt off over your head, tossing the piece of fabric aside. She looks at you, waiting for you to meet her eyes. You locked eyes with her and then saw where her hand was hovering. You give her another nod, “Yeah, go for it.”
Janis slides lower, her hovering hand palming one breast as her other pushed down your bra and she wraps her lips around the other’s tip. You seethed, “Shit.” Laughing at how unbelievable that felt.
You whined. “Take— take this off.”
“Okay.” She grins, doing as you asked her to. With seconds, she was tossing your sports bra aside and it joins your shirt somewhere on the floor. “Do you like this, baby?”
A whimper gets caught in your throat, “Yes. Shit, yes. Don’t stop.”
“As you wish, honey.” She says, barely away from your chest. Her tongue’s flicks against the increasingly sensitive bud became stronger, as did the sucking motions of her mouth that quickly made your head spin with pleasure.
The girl on top of you obviously had no issues with figuring out what you liked. She was freakishly good at it and goddamn, how lucky were you?
Instinctively, she moves herself lower again, leaving an eager trail of kisses down towards your cunt. When her hand rests on your hip, “Do it. Jan, do it.”
“So eager.” She cooed, “I love that.” In one swift movement, your shorts and underwear were off, finally joining the rest of your clothes on the hardwood floors. She marvelled at the sight for a brief moment before she presses a soft kiss to your clit, opening up her mouth and allowing her tongue to flick at your clit.
“Janis, fuck—” You cursed, grabbing one side of your pillow and covering it over your mouth to muffle the noises coming out of your mouth. You feel her laugh against your heat before she continues, you squirm and cursed again, it only spurs her on.
Before you knew it, you feel her finger drag upwards along your folds, sending a chill down your spine. Feeling your pulsing and then clenching around nothing in anticipation, she decides it was time to push her finger into you. “Oh, shit.” You moaned lowly, she could barely hear you through the pillow.
The steadier her rhythm got, the more consistent your noises got. Increasing in pitch, your hips pushed up towards her. Janis went along with it, but slowly eased you back down to keep you more comfortable. Each thrust of her finger, she hooked it upwards to hit your sensitive spot, it pushes you to your release even more effectively. Your mind was a blank by now, immense pleasure coursing through your veins. “Oh, my God…” You mumbled, your free hand nearly grabbing onto her head.
Feeling a second finger ghosting your apex, your free hand just falls, grasping at the sheets beneath you. “Fuck, fuck— do it, do it. Mm— my fucking god…you feel so—”
“So good— mm—” In the next second, she smoothly enters you with a second finger. It did not feel uncomfortable in the slightest, considering how riled up you were. It did feel…different. But a good, different. Her fingers were stagnant until you made even just the slightest noise. Your hips rut upwards, urging her to move. So, she did, her pace gets quicker than ever, thumb also rubbing your clit at the same time. You sounded like a mess thanks to her, feeling out of control of your own body.
You took a deep breath when you felt the abrupt tightening in your core, then a whine so high-pitched that it nearly makes you cringe followed.
“Jan, I— I feel like I’m —”
“It’s okay, lovey. What are you feeling?” She asks gently, her actions were the complete opposite though. “Do you want me to stop?”
“No, feels good—” You told her immediately.“I don’t know what I’m feeling — I feel like I’m gonna pee.” You spoke in a hushed voice, not wanting to get caught by Regina.
“You’re alright.” She assured, fingers slowing down, her mouth detached from you slowly.
You gasp, “Fuck. What—”
“That means…” She continues, her fingers pumping slower but more forcefully poking your g-spot, “You…are going to come.”
Holy shit.
“Really?” You asked in utter surprise. She chuckles, nodding her head, her mouth reattaches onto you, sucking you dry — not.
“Still feel that?” She asks.
“Mhm.” You bite your lower lip, nodding and holding the pillow over your mouth again.
“Getting stronger?”
Another nod, another bucking upwards of your hips.
“Don’t hold back.” She tells you while massaging your inner thighs.
Feeling her tongue pressing flat against your clit, your back arched and you cried out. “You’re okay…you’re okay.” She says lovingly, her fingers till pumping in and out of you to help you ride out your high, “I got you.”
“Fuck.” You muttered, avoiding her gaze.
Her free hand squeezes your trembling leg on the inner thigh, “Hey, you’re okay. Look at me, baby.”
Gingerly, you did so, eyes flicking down to meet hers. Janis was seated cross-legged between your legs. With sobriety coming to you, this position you and her were in was causing a blush to tint your cheeks. She grins, then teased, “Bit intense?”
You chuckled, handing your face behind your hand, “…yes.”
She gets away from your legs and went up to lay beside you, on her stomach. Janis gazes into your eyes lovingly, fingers softly brushing the messy hair away from your eyes. She presses a tender kiss to your lips, “You okay? Was that too much?”
“I’m okay.” You replied after pondering for a couple seconds, “That was intense, but it felt really good.”
“I’m glad it felt good, honey.” She strokes your cheek, “I love you.”
“I love you too.” You had the biggest smile on your face, “Oh my God.”
“So beautiful.” She says, to herself but she was looking at you and that made your heart flutter.
A string of loud knocks abruptly interrupted your moment, “Hello?! What’s going on in there? Are you sleeping or what? I need to know if I can go out or if you’re passed out or something.”
“We’re fine, Reg!” You answered, biting back a laugh, “Bye!”

I Cherish You, Halcyon Days: i.
“You’re gonna die, kid. In the worst way possible.”
tags: afab!reader (she/her), angst, slow burn
pairing: gojou x reader + onesided!getou x reader
summary: You’re 15 years old when you’re told you’re going to die. You’re 17 years old when you realize who your killer will be. And you’re 17 years old when you make peace with the fact you wouldn’t want it any other way.
index | previous chapter | next chapter
"[First]... [First]. Hey wake up!"
You blink blearily, just barely catching your chin with your palm. "Sorry," you mumble, closing your eyes once more. You open them once more when Shoko raps her knuckles against your desk again. "'m still kinda out of it."
Yours was the start to a very trying day.
First and foremost, you overslept and missed breakfast.
You were still tired.
And most irritating of all, you had a headache ー you forgot to drink water before and after going to bed, sue you.
While you're still cognizant, you whip out your phone to text your friends. What a waste, you sigh. There aren't any missions to go on today either. Originally your plan was to head out once classes were over for the day and meet up with your non-sorcerer friends in the city. Eat at Johnny's, maybe go to an arcade and watch a movie with the money you had leftover. With how you're feeling presently though, you much preferred laying down and immediately going to sleep. "This sucks," you fail to fight back on a yawn. "I wanted to see what's been going on with everybody from my old school too." You yawn again.
Me: I'm not gonna be able to make it, sorry. Can we meet up another time instead? Have fun without me (T^T)
Chinatsu: aww that sucks. Do you think you'll be free next weekend? We can do something for your birthday!
Your smile is small yet doubtful as you text back an 'I promised my aunt that I'd visit her next weekend to celebrate so it might be a while til then.'
If there's one simultaneous benefit and drawback to attending Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, it's that your schedule is sporadic enough that you it's never consistent what you might be doing on a day-to-day basis let alone week-to-week. Some mornings you'll find out classes are canceled for the next few days and other times you think you're home free to bullshit for the weekend only for Fujioka-sensei to pop up and say you and Shoko have a mission that'll take up the entirety of your free time. As far as your old friends from Tsubame High were concerned though, you somehow got yourself a scholarship for a bigshot religious school with a limited number of students and hellish expectations for said students.
"Look at [First] getting herself into some fancy rich kid private school," Tooru said when you broke the news to your friends you'd known since middle school that you'd be transferring to Tokyo Jujutsu Tech.
Chinatsu: Look at [First], not having too much time for the little people!
"It's pretty unusual for you to sleep in," Shoko's comment brings you out of your nostalgic stupor.
Me: Yeah who are you again?
"Yeah, I know," once you quickly type in your reply, you finally shove your phone back into your pants pocket. If there's a definitive benefit to attending Tokyo Tech, it's the customizable uniforms. You went for the boys uniform at this particular school. It felt like it would be the most practical decision when you'd be running around fighting cursed spirits. And with it being fall, the winter solstice being a couple weeks away, wearing pants felt like the best long term investment you could have come up with. Not to mention, you looked good in it. "It's not like I had any trouble getting to sleep though."
"Bad dream?"
"I don't know I can't remember it," you shrugged trying to recall whatever it was you were dreaming about. It's all hazy, not even the most significant parts scratching at your brain coming through the fog. "I don't think it was bad though. Maybe it was about my husband. I'm still mad they killed off his character in Anaconda 2 last year, can you believe that shit? He was the finest dude in the movie!" When you hear a snicker coming from your right, you shoot a glare towards the culprit with snowy white hair. "Like Inoue Waka even knows who you are, please shut up."
"At least my celebrity crush lives in my country," Gojou snickers back with a shit-eating grin. "Running into Morris Chestnut in Japan? Doesn't seem all that likely. Ah the delusions of young children."
"You are literally only two days older than me, you are making this way too big a deal."
Although Suguru releases a breath of exasperation, there's a smile gracing his features. "Well you can't be that tired if the two of you can bicker like this. Just try not to tear each other apart next week when the party hits. It's your special day after all."
Ah yes, the party. The brilliant idea that the first and second year teachers, Fujioka and Yaga, came up with on the fly yesterday on December 1st.
When you were told that there was a small number of students at this school, you didn't realize how little there would be going in. Among the first year students, you're quite literally only one of four. The previous second year student, Okita, died two months ago leaving the current number of second year students at 0. There's quite literally only two third year students in Utahime and Mei Mei. And as for 4th year students, there is only one ー Yamada.
The ratio of non-jujutsu sorcerer to sorcerer was shockingly out of balanced if there were only seven students at your school. Because of that, the teachers made sure to celebrate every student's birthday. A party, cake, presents, the whole shebang. No class, no missions. Just a day of setting up the dorms for a party while the one turning a year older had to either leave campus and wander around until it was time for their party, or sit around doing nothing around campus until someone came to get them.
It wasn't too long ago when you were all celebrating Shoko's birthday on the 27th of last month.
It was her party with her cake and her presents.
But you? The teachers had a special idea in mind for you. Because in a school of seven students where two of them were born within days of each other, why have two separate parties when you could make it one and cheapen the cost?
One party with one cake and a mixture of presents for you both to tear open at the same time.
Gojou is December 7th.
You're December 9th.
They'll just celebrate both on the 8th and call it a day.
When it came down to it, you understood the principle behind the plan. You could even get behind it. It's just that if somewhere to ask if you liked Gojou Satoru, your answer would be an irrevocable 'no'.
Hell, you'd answer 'no' even if no one did ask.
Gojou Satoru is impossible for you to like from his stupid sunglasses to his shit-eating grins. Even worse is his arrogance. Because apparently, there's no one in the world of jujutsu you were scouted into that didn't know who Gojou Satoru is. Born merely two days before you, Gojou Satoru's birth changed the state of the jujutsu world. "He's basically like the jujutsu sorcerer version of Jesus," Shoko explained when you asked why everyone seemingly made a big deal over him.
I don't like him at all.
You're the odd man out in your class, though, you begrudgingly force yourself to accept all over again during lunch. Despite your less than stellar review of the boy, Suguru and Shoko got along just fine with him.
Gojou had always been obnoxious about the fact you were born a couple days after him when you found out you shared a month of birth. It is just that with your birthdays being right around the corner of next week, he is being especially intolerable. He even came to wake you up this morning when you overslept, forcing Gojou Satoru and his blue eyes that were partially obscured by his sunglasses to be the first thing you saw that morning. Clearly a premonition that today was going to be a mess when he all but sang "morning, junior, you're gonna be late to class at this rate!"
By the gods, I wanna punch him so much. I don't care if he's Jujutsu Jesus, he just thinks he's hot shit because he has blue eyes.
At the very least, you can rest easy in knowing the fact that the feelings of dislike are mutual.
Gojou Satoru is strong, it's an irrefutable fact no matter how much you'd like to deny it. He's strong and in turn, the strong are the only ones Gojou respects. You apparently don't make the cut.
And that's fine. Strength came in all sorts of ways. (An argument the two of you have already had with one another where Suguru said you both would just have to agree to disagree.) You disliked Gojou Satoru but you could live with the fact that, at the very least, you were going to be stuck together for four years. Because even if he was strong, life sometimes paid you back with small moments of grace where someone put the golden boy of the Gojou Clan in his place.
"Just so you know, Takamatsu Akira is visiting again," Shoko's voice pulls you back into the present.
You raise an eyebrow at the unfamiliar name, "never heard of 'em."
"He's a sorcerer that can see glimpses of a person's future when he looks at them," Suguru answers in her stead over a sip of his oi ocha. "He's apparently at the school today for some sort of meeting."
"Hands off the goods," your eyes widen in amazement as you quickly smack away Gojou's hand from your lunch. "Really? And it's all accurate too?"
"He's a major asshole, though," the white-haired boy hisses with a pout. You roll your eyes. I'm not sure how reliable your words are if you of all people are calling someone an asshole. Your incredulousness must show on your face because Gojou's next words are, "seriously! He only tells people he thinks have interesting futures anything about it."
"And?"
"Satoru's just mad because apparently his future isn't interesting," Suguru smirks, smugly welcoming his best friend's unamused side eye. "He told me about mine though."
You bite back a snort when your curiosity to know Suguru's fortune wins. "What did he say about it?"
Suguru touched his chin thoughtfully, recalling back the day he met the seer. "He said that one day I'll be stuck at a crossroads between two paths and make a life changing decision," he pauses dramatically and you lean forward in anticipation. "That's all he told me though."
Damn it.
The brown-eyed boy chuckles but he shoots you a look of amused sympathy, "he never really tells you too much about it apparently. I was disappointed too."
"Did he ever tell you anything about your future, Shoko?" You ask your class' resident slacker.
Shoko shook her head, bob gently moving with her. "I'm one of the boring ones too," she says with a lazy wave of her hand. "Like Gojou."
"Don't worry, my friends," Suguru places a hand over his chest and bows with far too much grace and humility. "I alone will shoulder the burden of having an interesting future. Unlike Satoru."
You choke, unable to stop yourself from chortling this time. Whatever Gojou sputters in his self-defense, you don't hear it over the sound of your own laughter. "Maybe he'll tell me about my future too," you sigh when your giggles subside. You sincerely doubt it, but it's fun to think about the possibilities. I want an interesting life plot twist, like the reveal I'm actually a long-lost member of some royal family he just won't tell me which one.
"He'll probably stop by because you're here," Shoko rests her chin on her palm. You were the newest in your class, starting a month later than the rest. "He likes seeing if new students will have interesting futures ahead of them."
"Don't get too excited, [First]," Gojou quickly rains on your parade with a lot of arrogance for someone whose future is apparently so boring a seer won't even talk to him about it. "I'm the most interesting person in this place and he won't even talk to me. So who knows what sort of reaction you'll get."
"Oh quit being bitter that your future is gonna be boring, asshole," before any other quips and gripes can be exchanged, the class door slides open abruptly. You look over with a start, wondering if it's your teacher when you see it isn't. The man is a bit younger than Yaga but his hair is already graying and his eyes are a deep green reminiscent of pine trees. You have a feeling you already know who it is and grin. "You wouldn't happen to be Takamatsu Akira, would you? Gojou here was telling me about his boring future soー" you stop yourself with a shudder when you blinked and realized that man was in front of your face and much too close for comfort.
"Now that is something," the man blinks owlishly, eyes almost glowing in his amazement.
Your discomfort flies away faster than a seagull with someone else's lunch, "really?"
The man leans back with a grin and a snap of his fingers, "really, really."
With that you look at Gojou and stick out your tongue and he sticks his tongue in return.
[First] 1, Gojou 0.
Suguru chuckles and Shoko grins and all the while, Gojou flicks your forehead too quickly for you to react. "Look, hater, it isn't my fault that your future's boring, quit trying to rain on my parade," you snicker, batting your eyelashes. "Mr. Takamatsu, I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me about my future if you don't mind. Before the naysayers get more butthurt than they already are."
"You're gonna die, kid."
With four words, your blood freezes and you find yourself blinking once, twice slowly. It's the matching looks of shock and surprise on your classmates' faces that tells you you heard Takamatsu correctly. Stiffly, you look back at the seer hoping for that revelation to be nothing but a joke, but instead you find yourself looking at a maniacal grin. That grin feels more like a knife in your gut. "In the worst way possible."
The knife sinks deeper into your flesh, twisting.
"Hey," out of the four of you, Gojou is the one who finds his voice first.
Takamatsu ignores the boy with snow white hair as if he's nothing but a minor breeze, "But," he beams like he's only told you that he found a discount at the convenience store. "Because I like you so much, I'll let you ask three questions about it."
"O-okay," you stammer almost instinctively. Like a zombie, you find yourself stumbling onto your feet and Takamatsu nods at the door. These answers will be for you and you alone. You aren't sure what expression you wear on your face as you exit, nor the expressions of your peers. You can't bring yourself to look at them as you follow the future-seeing sorcerer into the halls of your school.
I'm going to die.
I'm going to die.
In the worst way possible.
It's only once you're relatively alone that the seer halts his walking in the middle of the hall to look at you. "Feel free to ask your questions," he tells you. "Your classmates shouldn't be able to hear, even if they keep looking out the door. So ask away," he reassures you, waving his hand nonchalantly.
You glance to your left and sure enough there are three heads leaning out of the door, staring straight at you both. You can't bring yourself to smile reassuringly before you return your gaze to the sorcerer in front of you.
Three questions.
Your first question can only be so obvious. "Howー how do I die?"
Takamatsu's amusement is sapped from his face at that question. "Really?" He yawns with a shake of his head. "That's what you're going to ask? That's quite boring."
Boring? Boring?! It's my life! "Yeah but-"
"You know what, fine," Takamatsu sighs, crossing his arms. He recalls his vision in his mind for a moment before he opens his lips. "You're going to be killed by someone precious to you. Ask me something more… riveting this time."
You blink slowly.
You're going to be killed by someone you care about.
When do I die?
Was it an accident?
On purpose?
Why would they want to kill me?
You don't think those are questions Takamatsu will find intriguing in the slightest. In a panic, you ask the most original question that enters your brain. "Do I die… angry at them?" No. Fucking. Shit, me. "Wait, that was dumb don't answer th-"
"Nope, it counts," Takamatsu clicks his tongue. Maybe it's payback for your first question being so predictable and unoriginal. "And my answer for that is no. Your heart will surprisingly bear no anger towards the person who kills you." A revelation that shakes you to the core. "Well, one question left to go, kid. No more mess ups, I'll take it even if it's something as a dumb as a repeat question."
"Okay, okay," you exhale nervously, biting your lip. I need to think.
You know yourself.
You're selfish at times, who isn't? If it really came down to it though, you know you'd always put someone else's life over your own. You can talk big, you can snort when you watch a movie and say 'yeah sorry, they'd be stuck on their own. I'm not dying in a situation like that, I'd wanna go home'. But you know yourself enough to know that despite thinking it, your feet would inevitably turn towards the other person. Maybe you'd die in the end but you know you'd try your damnedest to get them out.
Why else would you put yourself on the line fighting curses?
Curses were scary.
You'd seen them you're entire life, unable to explain why or what they are to the people around you. Some were tall, some were small and some were so grotesquely horrifying that it made Sadako and Freddy Kreuger look like kittens. Being able to literally shield yourself from them were a saving grace when Rejection came in. Those curses didn't attack often, no they mostly just hung about before choosing some random poor soul to haunt. You just didn't want one touching you or your parents.
Things got a bit better when they sent you to Japan for the summer with your aunt. Apparently that's what happens when you live in a country with a more stable and organized force of jujutsu sorcery. Or maybe it was, begrudgingly, because living in the home court of Jujutsu Jesus kept some curses from wilding out the way they did in your home country.
Either way, your parents relented when you begged for them to let you continue living in Japan with your aunt.
That's how you were prepared for the night your class' test of courage went to shit when a curse showed up and miraculously kept the list of mortal casualties at zero.
But I'd like to think that in a life or death fight where it's me or them, I'd choose me. You shake your head pushing the thought to the side. You almost forgot the most important detail. Your killer will be someone who matters to you. But I won't be mad about it. If it was life or death, I'd choose me. I know that. Stranger on the street or a lifelong sworn enemy. And I know if I was killed by someone I apparently care about, I'd definitely be bitter about it. I'm not that forgiving.
Future you isn't in agreement. Your eyes turn to the ground.
Is it a life or death fight situation or an accident? You open your mouth briefly before closing it again.
They're precious to me.
They're someone I care about.
But I won't be angry.
I mustn't have been trying that hard then, you wet your lips as a light bulb flickers deeply in the recesses of your mind. You couldn't have been. How else could your future self's lack of anger be justified? One day, there will be someone you care for so greatly that even in a life or death battle, you'd still choose them.
You raise your head to look into dark green eyes dancing with amusement, a grin accompanying them. The grin morphs from clear to distorted at the welling of tears in your eyes. I wasn't trying. "I must really love this person, don't I?"
Takamatsu's grin grows even wider, eyes flashing in pleasant surprise. "Yeah," he leans against the wall, crossing his arms. "It seems like you do."
Tears roll down your cheeks like streams into a river yet your arms hang loosely at your side. "That's three questions then," you murmur, throat constricting. You inhale slowly, hold your breath and release before wiping your eyes. "Thank you for answering my questions, Mr. Takamatsu. Lunch is gonna be over soon, so I'm gonna go finish eating now."
You bow before turning on your heel back to your class, your classmates are still there. You don't really care to receive their pity or empathy.
"I'm gonna die, it's gonna suck and that's all he really told me," you say before anyone can ask.
It's hours after classes have ended for the day and you're cooking in the communal kitchen when you see Gojou again.
"Hey," Gojou says and his tone is so serious it startles you. You set your knife down on the cutting board before looking at him. His face doesn't seem right to you and it dawns on you a second later it's because he's frowning and it's not the usual childish frown you're used to seeing. "Don't take what that guy said seriously. Like I said, he's an asshole. He was probably saying all of that to freak you out." There's a pause and Gojou scratches the back of his head, looking uncomfortable in his skin. "So don't, like, cry about it. Takamatsu's a prick."
"Are you," you squint, looking Gojou over suspiciously. "Trying to make me feel better or something in your own weird Gojou way?"
"Someone has to make sure you aren't drowning in their sorrows," Gojou returns to his usual brand of cocky, with a grin. His sunglasses slide down, revealing playful eyes.
"I don't want the comfort then," you roll your eyes and return to chopping your vegetables. "Besides, I don't need it anyways, I'm strong."
"Eeeeh."
Asshole.
"We had this argument before that there's different kinds of strong, you jackass," you argue for argument's sake knowing it's a moot point to argue with someone who vehemently believes otherwise. Apparently he thinks belief in philosophical kinds of strongs is how the weak comfort themselves.
You vaguely notice that in spite of your annoyance, your shoulders aren't stiff and your jaw is loose. Apparently Gojou is good for something, after all. "Strong looks different for different people. A kid is strong when they act tough after tripping. A grown man crying and being open with his emotions is strong," you recount some of the ways you've seen people be strong in your life. You've witnessed strength in various ways in your 15 years of living. "… Even just living despite how hard it can be is strong. But it's whatever, I already know you think that's a load of self-comforting weak crap, don't feel like arguing about it."
Save for the sound of you cutting green celery and the light simmer of the pan, silence falls over the two of you.
"What did you guys talk about when he said you could ask him questions?" Gojou finally asks.
"… nothing important," you mutter back.
ー
When you wake up at 4:30 in the morning the next day, knowing full well there was going to be physical education that day, you decide to ditch class.

In the oneshot I somehow fucked up the timeline by one year. In reality, Gojou was a 1st year in 2005 not 2004.
Also, in the oneshot I said the reader was the baby of the class. I was wrong again. Suguru was actually born in '90, not '89, like I originally assumed. Thus, he's actually the baby of the class. So I removed all mentions of the reader being the class baby. Still, you're younger than Gojou by two days so he is still rather insufferable about that, much to your chagrin.
Compared to the oneshot, now that there is more extended time to look into such things, there will be dives into the reader's non-sorcerer origins, family and friends. I would like to note that the reader isn't from Japan originally in terms of her nationality, but that will be covered in future chapters. Regardless, the reader is ethnically ambiguous for the self-insert convenience!

Yoongi followed behind you as he pushed the cart down the aisle. you guys tend to eat together, so you don't waste a lot of money on groceries.
as you pass the aisle with his favorite's snacks you see him toss about three bags of them, he gives you a sheepish smile as he pushes the cart ahead of you before you could say anything to him.
"do you really wanna cook? we could order food. i'll pay my treat" he smiles
"well what do you wanna get" you ask as you grab a carton of milk and put it into the cart. he watches you as you look like a busy bee walking around getting everything you needed.
so wifey material
he chuckles at his thoughts, "lets get a box of chicken wings. it's good here" he points at the little side stand of chicken, you nod and head over to add a order.
once you arrive home, he's helping bring in the grocery as you fix it in the refrigerator. "what movie are we watching" he yells from the living room as he shuts the door.
"i don't know, you pick" he groans, he hated when you did that. made him choose everything.
"fine but don't complain later" you giggle
after putting everything away you bring the food you guys got to eat right now to the living room. yoongi was already sitting on the floor going through netflix waiting for you
"what do you want to drink?" you ask as you place the box of chicken down "beer" he says giving you his gummy smile
rolling your eyes playfully you go back to the kitchen to get what he wanted.
"you don't like beer, but you're drinking it a lot lately" you tell him as you take a seat next to him on the floor. he just shrugs, as he opens the can "i just feel like drinking it these days"
"what are we watching?" you ask
"inception"
you groan "againnnn" you whine
"hey you told me to pick, i told you not to complain. it's either inception or matrix" he whines back at you
"same difference, i'd rather watch inception. you start questioning me about what fucking pill i'd drink"
"well you never answer!"
you shush him before he could start with his questions "just press play" you wave your hand as if calling defeat and he just shakes his head as he laughs.
you had brought some blankets on the sofa, so after you were done eating you climbed onto the sofa and covered yourself. yoongi was into the movie as always, completely oblivious to his surroundings.
you lay on your tummy, yoongi's head is leaned against the sofa as he watches the movie. you take this chance to play with his hair. he didn't really like when people touched his hair, but when he's really into something he could care less about what's going on.
your fingers curl up on the long strands of hair that fall on his neck, taking it as a chance to snake your hands around him. letting them hang over his chest
you were screaming inside, waiting to see how he was going to react.
tilting his head back he looks at you "what's with you" he chuckles, he didn't mind you touching him, but you never did before at least not like this.
"i'm bored" you tell him as you hug him burying your face in his nape. "well this is uncomfortable" he gets up.
his words leave you shocked. did he hate you touching him that bad, did you cross a line you shouldn't have? you blanked out as all these questions passed through your head you didn't notice when he laid on the longer side of the sofa "well come here" he laughs at your blank expression
"but you said it was.....uncomfortable" you mutter the last part
"yeah it was gonna be uncomfortable if i just sat on the floor, now come here" getting up, he opens his arms as you basically lay over him. he covers the both of you with a blanket and he holds you. he overlaps your legs so you don't fall off the sofa, "go to sleep, you're the one that wanted to hang out and now you say it's boring" he shakes his head
you hug his waist, as he watches tv. you felt like it wasn't getting anywhere, this was how you both always act. there was no spark. looking up at him, you watch him as he stares at the screen
it took him a while before he looks at you, faces inches away from each other. "what" he says
"nothing" you make sure to not be a coward and keep eye contact just as he does.
"why do i feel like you got something to say"
"maybe i do"
"yeah? what is it then" you look at his lips as they move, he notices how your body language is different than usual.
"inception sucks" he scoffs playfully, threatening to push you off the sofa.
chicken
maybe you shouldn't have eaten chicken...then you could've kissed him right now...
yeah lets blame the chicken.
you ended up falling asleep in his arms, he watched inception till the end and the turned off the tv. seeing how you were deep asleep he just laid there looking at the ceiling as he heard your little snores.
a small ring from his phone made him look at his phone, there were a shit load of messages from her.
tossing his phone to the side he pulls the blanket to cover you a bit more before shutting his eyes and dozing off himself.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
you woke up on the same position as before, but you could only hear yoongi's small snores as you laid on his chest. you lean on the couch trying to get up, only to have his grip around your waist tighten "don't you see i'm sleeping" he groans
"but i wanna get up" you feel your face heat up as he stares at you half awake "why? Just sleep" he gives you a small squeeze before opening his eyes completely "did you watch the whole movie?"
"you mean the movie we were suppose to watch together but you fell asleep instead, yeah I did" he chuckles. chin against his chest as you look up at him, he covers you with the blanket "what's on your mind" he says
gathering all your courage, "what type of girl is your ideal type" you stare into his eyes, with determination to find out
"uh, that's random" he chuckles "why do you want to know?"
"just because..."
"right..." he raises a brow as he grins
"come on, just tell me"
he looked into your eyes for a while as if searching for the reason behind these questions, giving up he sighs. "let me think" he stares at you as he hums "i don't really have an ideal type, just someone who is similar to me" he shrugs
i'm nothing like him..
"black long hair" he says suddenly as he grabs a strand of your hair "right now i'm really into long black hair" he twirls his finger around your strand of hair.
you were about to smile until the girl from the party came to mind, she has long hair too. the thought made you frown as you sat up "what?" he sits up as well.
"nothing" you smile "it's late, we should clean up and go to sleep"
"don't worry about it, let's just go to sleep" standing up from the couch he reaches out his hand to you, you knew what he wanted. more like what he was gonna say, he was gonna tell you to stay with him since it was late.
but what he didn't know was that you were pissed for his response, why couldn't the bitch change her hair color just like she cakes her face.
but you weren't gonna miss the chance of staying with yoongi. taking his hand you both walk to his bedroom, where you both lay on each side and fall asleep.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
"how did the date go?"
"it went good" your friend grins, causing all the other girls to squeal like high school girls. your sitting in the cafeteria in your campus with your group of friends, they are all dating unlike you. you always seem to be the one left out when it comes to these conversations.
"y/n, my boyfriend actually told me his friend was having a mixer and I told him about you. do you want to go?"
"i don't know" you laugh awkwardly
"don't tell me you're planning to stay virgin till marriage" they all stare at you with intense looks, as if they could eat you up.
"i just don't want to loose it to a random person..." you mutter, causing them to all nod "there's nothing wrong with that" abby ruffles your hair "but you never go out, how are you planning to ever find someone"
"don't rush her" jihye says as she pulls you into a hug "leave my innocent y/n alone, if she doesn't wanna meet anyone then it's fine. her time will come"
"what about junho, you both were hanging out"
"oh we're just friends...i'm not attracted to him at all" you make sure to clear the air about junho and you since you knew what everyone was saying.
"as long as you don't go running after yoongi all the time i'm sure you'll find someone" she says sarcastically
you play with the spoon as they continue to talk about their boyfriends and their sex life as if they didn't care you were there.
either way, you didn't want them to not include you in their little group talks, it would be awkward if they didn't even acknowledge you. they respected that you were a virgin but they were really pushy at times.
just as you were listening to them, you see yoongi walking into the cafeteria with his group of friends. abby follows your sight of vision and grins "namjoon is hot, i hear his dick is so fucking good" she shakes her head in approval
"nah, jungkook" the girls all nod as they hum in sync. you stare at them and look back at the guys. "you guys are a bunch of hoes" you say, causing them to laugh. "for namjoon, yes"
"but you have a boyfriend" you tell her, point the spoon her direction with disapproving eyes "shh child" she puts your arm down "let me dream"
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
waiting in the library once more for yoongi, you sit there watching a show as you wait. he texted you saying he was on his way but you had already watched two episodes. taking out your phone you give him a call, only to be sent to voicemail.
the grip on your phone tightens as you frown knowing damn well what he was up to. he always answers, except when he was with her. feeling annoyed you take out a post it note. you leave the note on the table, knowing he'll find it cause you always sit in the same table. grabbing your bag you decide to head home feeling defeated.
MEANWHILE....
she rubbed her hand on his thigh as she kissed his jawline "you kept ditching me this week" yoongi was in fact trapped with his play thing at the moment. he could see you sent him messages and such, but he had needs that needed to be fulfilled.
"i know, i've just been busy" he kisses her back as she locks her lips with his. undoing his belt, she gets on her knees in front of him. "get rid of it"
"what?" he says as he lifts his hips helping her pull down his pants and boxers "your little distraction" he chuckles at her bold words, taking hold of his harden cock she gives him a long lick from the base to the head "why don't you stop talking and use your mouth for something else" kissing his tip she opens her mouth taking him in whole.
"yea, just like that" holding onto her head, he thrusts into her mouth hitting the back of her throat causing her to moan and gag as he holds his dick on the back of her throat for a moment. his eyes were shut close, head laid back as he tried to ignore the buzzing phone.
wiping her mouth she looks up at yoongi "your leaving?" he ignores her as he throws his jacket on "yeah, i have to go meet someone"
"that's not fair, what about me?" she pouts
"you'll be fine" I already took too fucking long, I was suppose to meet her an hour ago. she must still be waiting.
grabbing his bag he walks to the door "my distraction might keep me busy, don't text me like we have some sort of relationship" he winks at her before walking out the door leaving her annoyed, kneeled on the floor.
walking into the library he rushes to the spot you always sit but sees you aren't there. walking to the table he thought you might've gone to the bathroom or something but instead of your bag or notebook there as you'd always leave for him he found a note
I'm heading home, make sure to eat once you get home.
- Y/N
folding the note he sticks it in his pocket he lets out a puff of air, annoyed did she get mad. Once he got to the building he rings your doorbell. but there was no answer. not wanting to barge in, he calls your phone but no answer. sighing he gives up after ringing your bell a few more times before entering his apartment.
"i'll make it up to her later" he says walking to his room to get a change of clothes.
you lay on your bed as you hear the last doorbell sound. "took him a long ass time to come back home, dumb whore" you were angry, you wanted him to just pay attention to you but he was still going to her.
what bothered you the most is that this girl was different from the rest, she has been with him longer than the rest. jihye said it's probably cause she isn't clingy. the moment they become clingy he leaves the relationship.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
"I'm busy today" yoongi tells the person on the other end of the call. after ignoring his calls he decided to just sit outside on the bench that's in front of the building for a smoke.
"i'll call you" he says shutting his phone off and leaving it on the side "bitches mad annoying these days" putting a cigarette between his lips he presses on his lighter. just as he was about to reach the other end of the stick, the lighter is yanked out of his hand "really yoongi, you know this shit ain't good for you" there stood the girl who had him waiting outside.
chuckling he takes the cigarette out from between his lips "come on babe, what am I suppose to do then" taking it from his hand she takes the cigar box and shoves it inside only to put it in her back pocket "I got jolly ranchers"
yoongi was about to answer but she took his hand and was pulling him up the stairs. he stares at her frame as he walks behind her "i'd rather have something else that's sweeter" he licks his lips. rolling your eyes you opens the door and walk inside.
"are you mad at me" he says as she opens the side tables drawer
"why would I be mad?"
"you didn't answer my calls nor opened the door"
"you have keys you could've entered" closing it shut, you turn around grabbing yoongi's hand "green, the ones you like" in his palm there were four green jolly ranchers.
"i guess" they walk to the living room as he unwraps one and sticks it in his mouth. "but i'm still taking these back" reaching for your back pocket from your jeans he takes the box of cigarettes.
"yoongi i'm serious"
"so am i, i'm eating the jolly rancher. don't be mad" he gives you his gummy smile
"what ever" letting her body fall on the couch he stares at her from where he stands "why were you ignoring me"
"I wasn't, I was asleep"
"right" he answers sarcastically
"why were you late"
"the guys were being mad annoying" he rolls his eyes playfully, sitting across from her. the way he could just lie to her made her feel annoyed "next time just tell me where you're at and i'll go" you unwrap a jolly rancher you had gotten for yourself.
"you wanna hang out with my friends?" he was surprised since you never wanted to go even when he invited you. "better than being alone for hours"
"i guess, sure next time i'll tell you"
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
"Stay still, you moving around like that isn't helping" you slap his hand as you try to help him take out the eye contact that he couldn't take out himself.
You were about to go to sleep after hanging out and eating dinner when he calls you telling you that he either can't get the contact out or it fell but to get your ass over and help him. He was sitting on the couch in front of a small mirror when you entered.
This is the situation.
"Well you poked my fucking eye" he hisses, of course he was exaggerating. Hovering over him as you try to get a better look at his eye he keeps closing it on purpose. "That's it" In a swift move you straddle him pushing him back against the couch as you tilt his head back. "Now stay still" dumbfounded he stares at you speechless.
"I think you dropped it...." Distancing yourself from him you sit back on his lap. As he stares at you. "So you planning to get off or what"
"So much for saying thank you" rolling your eyes, you place your hands on his shoulder as you were about to stand up. Wait a damn minute, this is my chance to mess with him, you thought.
Letting yourself fall back on his lap you stare into his eyes. Which one was red which you in fact did poke. Wrapping your hands around him you decide to just sit there and hug him. "Y/n, that's enough" he laughs, hands on your waist as he tries to make you stand. leaning into his ear you whisper his name, your fingertips slightly brushing against the back on his neck
"what" he says unaffected.
Thinking about what one of the characters in the books you read would do, you decide to move your hips against him. making him mutter your name as his grip on your waist tightens.
"What" you look him in the eye before moving your hips again, sharper than before. "Alright that's enough" gripping your thighs he abruptly stands, dropping you on the sofa as he turns "thanks for the help, I'm gonna go finish what I was doing. See yourself out" without giving you a glance he walks away. You hear him enter the rest room.
"That was a fucking fail" you sigh, screaming into a couch pillow. Closing his contacts container you leave his apartment
"Fuckk" yoongi strokes his cock with his hand, rubbing his thumb on the tip. "Mmm y/n" calling your name he thrusts into his fist. "Shit" bitting his bottom lip he continued to pump himself in a fast pace. Your name escaped his lips as he releases all over his hand.
Head leaning against the shower wall, he lets the water help him calm down after his release "this girl...stop thinking about her before you get hard again" sighing he turns off the water.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
"Here have some lemonade before we go" he hands you a bottle of lemonade as he grabs your suitcase. your parents called asking you guys to visit this weekend. yoongi for once didn't reject the offer.
"thanks" you enter the car as he shuts the door once your in, making his way to the trunk to put the luggage away. you were expecting something to happen after you basically rubbed yourself on him but he was nonchalant as always.
opening the bottle as he enters the car you take a sip before passing it to him, staring at you confused you laugh "drink some"
"are you gonna wanna get something to eat during the drive" he says as he drinks from the bottle. pursing your lips as you ponder of what you should get he hands you the bottle back.
"sandwiches? honestly, I should've done food before we left"
"nah, it's fine. lets go get some then"
in the end you got two sandwiches while he got a corn dog saying he wasn't as hungry. you both make your way to the car while he's just devouring his corn dog.
"you sure you're not gonna want something else" you ask him as you both get in the car, he only shakes his head.
the car ride was quiet until you took over the radio playing your favorite music, he didn't like your taste in music but he didn't care. he loved hearing you sing your heart out to every song.
opening your sandwich you were about to take a bite but you felt him staring at you. sighing you turn to him "what? you want it?"
he only grins as he looks back at the road "here" grabbing his hand you place the sandwich on his hand, rolling your eyes since you knew he wasn't gonna be filled with just the corn dog. your should've gotten him his own extra share.
but you were hungry...one wasn't enough. pouting you opened your other sandwich taking a bite out of it. Did he forget that i'm the one that said we should get sandwiches.
he laughs as he sees you eat with a angry look on your face "want it back?"
"no"
"will one be enough for you"
"no, that's why i got two" you take another bite as you glare at him
"then take it"
"i don't eat left overs"
he gasps sarcastically " how are they leftovers"
"because you bit it and you probably didn't even want it but just messed with me"
glancing your way once more he grins "i was just teasing you a little"
looking his way, he had that same gummy smile that makes your insides melt. "so what, are you giving it back" you toss the wrapper into the bag
"nope"
he continued to eat my fucking sandwich.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
arriving at the house of your parents you both get down. "i'll get the suit cases, head inside first" he says as he opens the trunk. you nod before walking up the stone path as you head up the house, you can hear music playing.
you could hear how it was coming from the back, walking around the house you enter the backyard through the side gate "we're homeeee" you yell out as you enter the gate to find both your families sitting together.
"look at my little girl" your mom gets up and rushes to you. pulling you into a tight hug "you guys need to visit more often" she showers you with kisses "mommm, i just saw you a couple weeks ago" you whine.
"where's yoongi" his dad puts down a plate he had brought from inside
"bringing the luggage" you turn to look at the gate, wondering why he's taken long "hold on, lemme go get him" you smile, getting any excuse to get away from all the smooches.
walking back to the front of the house you find yoongi leaning against his car smoking your luggages also put up against the car. you sigh before making your way towards him
"really? they're waiting for us and you're out here doing this" stopping in front of him you cross your arms raising a brow in disapproval. he smirks before blowing towards you causing you to wave the smoke away
"really?"
"you know the moment i get in there, my dad starts telling me i should change career" he's about to put the cigarette between his lips but you take it out of his hand tossing it on the floor only to step on it.
"you should really quit, it's bad for you"
looking up you see his hand extended out towards you
"what?"
"give me a jolly rancher"
"what? i don't have any with me"
rolling his eyes he takes out the pack of cigarettes
"yoongi they're waiting for us" you whine, taking it from his hands
"then give me something sweet" he taps his lips
"later" wrapping your arm around his, you grab your suit case with your other hand . he stood there staring at you "get yours genius" he groans in frustration as he grabs it and pulls you towards the house
entering the lions den as yoongi sees it you both leave the suit cases at the back entrance before joining the rest at the table
"hey" the little boy sitting next to you greets you.
"hello" you smile
"my name is hajun" his eyes sparked as he looked at you
"ah..my name is y/n"
"that's a pretty name" his cheeks turn into a pinkish blush
"who's the flirt" yoongi says as he sits opposite from you after greeting his parents, you shrug.
"he's my friends kid, she had something to do this weekend so he'll be here" your mom smiles
looking at the kid, you see him staring at you
"do you think my daughter is pretty" your mom tells the boy in a teasing way only for him to nod and everyone laughs but yoongi
"is he your boyfriend"
"no"
"yes"
yoongi and you both look at each other, you look confuse as you mouth, what the fuck
he shrugs before drinking from the glass of water
"wait is he?" the boy pouts
"no, he's just messing around"
"really yoongi? he's only six" his mom shakes her head as she chuckles
"what, gotta let the kid know he has no chance. letting a kid be delusional is bad for them" he shrugs
you all laugh as both boys stare at each other, yoongi had a smug look while hajun was glaring at him
"you're too young kid" he laughs
your hand meets your face as you couldn't believe yoongi was fighting with a kid. "are you guys hungry?" your mom speaks up, only for you to glare at yoongi who was already giving you a gummy smile knowing you were gonna tell that he ate your food and he wasn't wrong you did tell.
"yes, yoongi ate my food" crossing your arms.
"i told her she could have it back but then went and called them left overs" he starts to complain but his mom pulls his ear while lecturing him in a playful way about stealing your food. of course all he did was laugh, but his eyes never left you.
after eating you guys sat there and caught up with your parents, while you tried to keep up with the conversation you also tried to give hajun attention as he kept talking to you.
"y/n"
"what"
"come over here" yoongi says as he gets up and walks towards the glass door to enter the house
excusing yourself you walk behind him, he picks up both your suitcases as he opens the door.
"what happened?"
"give me what you said"
"what?" extending his hand he raises a brow
rolling your eyes you walk to the counter and open the jar that has always been there ever since you were a kid and just like then, it was filled with lollipops. your dad has a sweet tooth.
pulling the wrapper off you walk up to him, pressing it against his lips "there, suck" he grabs onto the lolipop, one brow raised at you as chai you wink before walking off leaving him dumbfounded.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
"How's she doing in school" yoongi was sitting on the chair swing with your dad, you had gone inside to help clean up after everyone ate.
"she's doing fine, she'll be graduating on time" he takes a sip of the beer
"that's good, thanks for watching out for her" he chuckles, putting his hand on yoongi's shoulder he gives it a small squeeze before looking at his wife
"i just don't want her to mess up and end up struggling like we did, young and with a kid...life just doesn't treat you the same" before you guys went off to college, your dad did not agree with you going away. only after yoongi promised to watch over you did he allow you to go somewhere far.
"don't worry i keep an eye on her" he chuckles, your dad nods giving yoongi a little nudge with his elbow "don't be too protective" making both of them laugh. getting off the swing he walks to yoongi's dad who was stacking up the chairs.
yoongi looks at you as you walk to hajun giving him a lollipop time to go torment the kid, getting up from the swing he walk over to both of you. the kid unwraps the lollipop only for yoongi to steal it.
"yoongi, really? it's his" you hit his arm.
"what, did you also tell him to suck on it too?" he laughs before putting it in his mouth. rolling your eyes you reach into your pocket and hand him another lollipop
"don't listen to him, he's just a bully"
"nah, she's the real evil one. don't trust her, women are all the same" yoongi acts hurt as he wipes his fake tears
"did noona reject you" he frowns, feeling sorry for yoongi.
you couldn't hold your laugh as yoongi looks at him with a really bitch look.
"my mom says you shouldn't force love. it'll come naturally"
"how old are you again kid" yoongi asked annoyed
"alright alright, your right hajun" you pat his head giving him a sweet smile.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
you were getting a change of clothes from your suitcase before getting a call from yoongi
"are you sleeping" he says
"no, why?"
"i'm not tired"
"ok? i am"
"then why aren't you sleeping"
"cause i haven't changed my clothes..i was talking to my mom" shutting your suitcase you place some shorts and a large t-shirt on the bed "come on lets go out, i'm not tired"
"no, yoongi go to sleep"
"but i hate that room"
you let out a sigh, knowing damn well what he wants, every time you guys come to visit he always wants to sneak into your room without your parent's noticing
"you just wanna avoid your dad tomorrow morning"
"and if that's the reason, is my best friend not gonna help me?"
you couldn't help but laugh at his childish behavior "fine, hurry up. the window is open"
"alright"
it didn't take long before you see a cat like person crawling through your window
"babe, at least open the window more" he rubs his head at the same spot he just hit while sneaking in.
"shhh, they'll hear you" yoongi waves you off as emphasizes how extra you could be. you end up going to the bathroom to change into your outfit. "okay, take this as a opportunity" you tell yourself in the mirror. your hands tight in fist as you try to boost your confidence . getting a bottle of water for him you go back to your room.
"here"
"thanks"
getting into the bed you lay by the wall, having him lay on the other side. the bed wasn't as big as the one back in your apartment. your knees touched in this bed. your goal, to cuddle.
"i'm gonna turn off the light"
"ok"
you both lay in silence, it wasn't an awkward silence. not until yoongi groans, sitting up pulling his shirt over his head. "what are you doing" you exclaim as he tosses his shirt at the end of the bed "what, i can't sleep with this shirt. i forgot to change" he whines as he get under the covers again.
trying to calm your fastened heart beat you lay on your side facing him. "are you sleepy now"
"nope, but it's better than being alone" he stares at the ceiling. you were both raised here together. your parents are friends. well both your moms were. they both got pregnant around the same time and this is how you guys ended up being inseparable.
unlike you he didn't have the happiest moments. his parents always fighting and there was always as chance of them getting a divorce. it wasn't like this before he was born, his dad would tell him repeatedly.
but yoongi found peace at your house, making it his home. the fighting at some point got so bad yoongi himself yelled he'll fill up the divorce papers himself so they can just sign and go their own way. he was tired. yoongi went to live with you that summer.
i heard his parents fought less with him around. yoongi was never the same after that when ever he was around them.
his eyes were shut, as you stared as his perfect face. lifting your hand you move the hair strand that covered his eyes "what is it" he was getting sleepy, you could tell by his voice.
"yoongi" he hums in response
scooting closer to him you decide to just take action first and hug him first.
"what are you doing" he says looking down at you
"the bed is small, and since you're taking over the rest of my blanket I can't hug it to sleep" he chuckles, knowing you need to hug something to sleep. Something he always found cute about you. "you're such a child" he teases, hugging you back.
"want me to scratch your head" he chuckles, knowing you love it when your mom especially passes her hand through your head
"yeah" you smile
in the books i read this position, it's the sweetheart cradle.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
"i thought you guys weren't boyfriend and girlfriend" hajun speaks up as he enters the room, he gasps so loudly you both woke up
"we aren't" you sit up quickly, not being able to enjoy waking up next to yoongi's side due to this snotty nosey brat
the kid pouts but glares at yoongi who also sat up but leaned against the headboard smirking "told you there was no chance at all"
"shut up" you punch his arm, you were afraid this kid would go tell your parents
"wheres mom" you ask him as your crawl to the edge of the bed. yoongi on the other hand had a good view of your ass and he didn't bother to not look away instead he stared as your shorts rode up your butt as you crawled to the end of the bed. he had a urge to not give it a firm grab or slap your ass.
"they left, she told me to come get you" he looks at you after glaring at yoongi for a good minute
"alright, let me get ready and we can go out. the three of us"
"can't we leave him here" he points at yoongi
"no can do kid, you can't just try to pull a move without the other man being there. that's cheating"
"you did, last night" he rolls his eyes at yoongi who stood up and picked up his shirt. walking to hajun who was at the doorway he pats his head "i said man" and walks out
hajun ran after him yelling, leaving you on the bed fed up with their rivalry.
"Can I hold your hand?" hajun rushes to your side as yoongi stays behind to lock the doors. he kept looking back to see if yoongi was coming.
"sure" grabbing his small hand into yours you begin to speed walk while laughing knowing he wanted to get as far as possible from yoongi.
you couldn't even cross the street before yoongi scooped him off the ground, throwing him over his shoulder "hey put me down" he yells kicking
"nope" yoongi then takes your hand in his and crosses the street. "don't drop him yoongi" you pinch him with your nails as he holds your hand "i won't, if he doesn't move"
"y/n please, i'm not a kid. tell him to put me down"
"yoon-" before you could say anything he leans down to your height whispering into your ear "if i put him down i'll have no choice but to make you switch places with him"
your face heated up as his raspy voice whispered to you. looking at the young boy who was dangling over his shoulder pleading for you to help him you give him a apologetic smile "sorry"
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
"it's not fair"
"too bad"
"play fair"
"she's not some prize kid"
they kept going at each other as you walked to the store to get some snacks. "go play on the swing or something" yoongi shoos him away only to have the boy frown and he was clearly angry
"why does it bother you. you like her and don't even make a move"
yoongi chuckles, pulling out a jolly rancher from his pocket. i really wanna smoke right now, he thought as he tasted the green apple in his mouth. "what makes you say that"
"you look at her the way the mail man looks at my mom" he gasps at the young boys words he almost choked on the jolly rancher.
yoongi was determined that this kid was out to get him.
"you should really tell your dad about that" he gives the kid a concerning look. the kid takes a seat next to him shaking his head "I don't got to. He knows"
the conversation just went to shit. not even to make a joke about it, this is like what...character development for the kid? yoongi thought to himself
"damn kid that's fucked up" really?
the kid only shrugs
"parents are over rated" taking out another jolly rancher he hands it to the kid "here"
"thanks" unwrapping it he looks at yoongi "so what? do you like her or not"
"she's my best friend"
"but do you like her"
"kid, mind your business" he rolls his eyes. getting annoyed by a little ass kid made him even more annoyed.
"does it feel nice?"
"what" yoongi sighs
"being in love?"
"how old are you again?" yoongi grins as the kid purses his lip probably wanting to curse at this elder so bad.
"it's nice to be in love, but it doesn't justify cheating. cheating is bad, don't be a bad man"
the weekend came to an end and you both were making your way back home after saying good bye to everyone.
suddenly hajun and yoongi were on good terms.
"what were you two talking about the other day. after that he just kept following you around" you ask yoongi as you open the bottle cap for his drink, handing it to him.
"stuff"
"oh really?" you roll your eyes as he laughs. "don't be mad sweetheart, we were talking about you too"
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
"nah man you're cheating" the guy across from jimin throws the cards on the table. everyone was cheering jimin who just won a shit load of money.
"can we borrow this chair" a girl with ginger hair taps on the chair next to namjoon. "you can, or you can sit on my lap" he grins
"are you going home early?" taehyung asks yoongi who was already standing up from the table
"ye-" he's interrupted as the girl who was sitting next to him speaks up "why are you leaving? the night just started" she gives her sweet smile
"let's get a drink, somewhere else just the two of us" the ends of his lips curve into a smirk as he lowers himself to her height "what? i didn't hear you" his arm makes its way to her waist as he pulls her up.
"i said lets go somewhere else" bodies up against each other he takes another drink from his cup before walking away with his arm wrapped around her.
his hands sneaked under her dress giving him the chance to grope her ass helping her grind against his thigh as they made out.
kissing along his jaw she worked her way down to his neck ready to mark him but he stops her "no marks" pushing her down on the bed he unbuttons his shirt tossing it onto the floor before pulling the dress over her body. "let's make it quick"
pulling her panties down he positions himself in between her legs, rubbing his thumb on her entrance "look at this" he grins "i didn't even touch you down there yet"
he wasted no time to align himself to her entrance and thrust into her, groaning until he was fully inside her. not giving her any time to adjust he holds her waist thrusting into her without any warning,
"oh fuuuuck" the girl holds onto the bed sheets
she loved how it felt to have his strong hands on her hips as he picked up the pace, he wasn't giving her any time to think of anything but him. the louder she moaned the more harder he went.
"mm fuck, you like that"
"yes, fuckk harder please" she whines as he rubs her clit with his fingers
"fuckk i'm so close" she reaches for his neck as she pulls him down for a kiss. their mouths never leaving each other as he thrusts into her harder and harder each time. she digs her nails onto his back. causing him to grab her hands pinning them over her head. she releases but he fucks her till he's done. filling up the condom he grunts as he thrusts into her a few more times before pulling out.
"shit, that was amazing" she says out of breath
yoongi hums in response as he gets off the bed disposing the condom, he begins to get dressed.
"where are you going?"
without stopping yoongi glances at the naked girl who he was just begging him to fuck her. he grins as he buttons up his shirt "don't tell me this is your first time having a one night stand"
"what?"
"i just wanted to fuck, nothing special is gonna come out of this" and with those last words he grabs his jacket shutting the door behind him as leaves her all alone. walking to the bathroom he freshens up, cleaning the lipstick stains that were decorating his neck.
"fuck it's already late" he groans.
yoongi enters your apartment to find you sitting at your table doing homework "it's almost 3 in the morning why are you still up?" he makes his way towards you
"i could ask you the same" you smile
"jimin had a party, invited me last minute. dude was having too much fun" standing behind you he hugs you from behind. a moment you were suppose to enjoy was ruined before it could begin. your smile became a frown.
"he wasn't the only one having fun" you pull on his arm to push him away, leaving him dumbfounded.
"you smell" you say as you nudge him away some more
"really?"
"yeah" pushing your chair out you pick up your books. closing them since you had finish your work.
"ok? don't tell me your mad?"
"no"
"then? why does it bother you?" grabbing your wrist to stop you from walking to your room he stands behind you "come on y/n" he whines cutely but it wasn't gonna work on me. not today.
"shower when you come back from parties, you smell like a bitch" pulling her hand out of his grip she shuts the door from her room.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
today you wanted to do anything but be with yoongi. it made you furious the thought of him being with someone else. you hated it.
"are you not going to school" yoongi says over the phone"
" i have no classes today"
"are you still mad about yesterday"
you sigh, rubbing your temple before answering "i wasn't mad, i'm just sensitive to smell. anyways i got something to do. talk to you later" you hang up the phone not giving him any time to answer.
yoongi raised his brow as you stared at his phone, he wanted to make of you at the way you were acting but he knew it'll only piss you off more.
"bro another place tonight. what do you say?" jimin throws his arm over his shoulder
"i can't"
"why not?" he whines
"i have a cat that gets pissed when i come home with a bitchy scent" shaking jimin off he makes his way to the parking lot.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
"i've never been with someone who's dick is so big" she expresses while holding her hands up at a certain length.
"y/n, have you ever had sex with yoongi?" they all stared at you with curious eyes
"i mean you guys are friends, why not" she nudges your arm while giggling.
trying not to show how the question caught you by surprise you scrunch your nose "really guys, i'm eating why do we have to talk about these things" shaking your head as you chuckle they laugh.
looking at your phone you couldn't help but notice yoongi hadn't contacted you all day. usually if you guys would hang out together he'd let you know. the fact that there was no message had two meanings either he was gonna be with the guys or he picked up some needy girl again.
since you didn't have any classes today you decided to spend time with your friends which you don't get to a lot well cause of school or just you being busy chasing after yoongi.
"hey, yoongi just called me asking if we we're together" jihye says as she rushes to catch up to you guys, she had stopped to get some yogurt. "what? why didn't he just call me?" "he said he did call you"
taking out your phone you see five missed calls from yoongi and about 15 messages. "oh" pressing your finger over his contact you call him.
"i know you're mad but at least call me, will ya. you didn't even tell me where you were going" he speaks loudly, letting jihye who was walking along side you hear him very clearly. glancing at jihye you give her a apologetic smile "sorry, i'ma go" you mouth as you point towards the bottom floor. she just nods before catching up to the other girls.
"sorry, i'm at the mall with my friends. I'll head home now" you might be mad at him, but the fact that he's looking for you. like shit you'll waste this chance.
"what mall, i'll go pick you up. it's getting late"
"oh okay, xxx mall. i'll wait for you at the food court we always eat at when we come together"
"alright babe, just wait for me there then" he hangs up without realizing that those simple words gave you butterflies.
"heyy" you give him a smile as he opens the door of the passengers seat for you. rolling his eyes, "don't hey me, you ignored me all day"
"don't be mad, you ignore me too when you're out playing hooky. here i got you a pretzel" you forcefully place the pretzel on his hand as you get into the car "playing hooky? why are you ang-" taking the handle into your hand you pull shut the door before he could even answer.
"i'm not mad" you say once he gets into the car
"yeah sure, i know you are"
"what makes you so sure"
"y/n, i don't like pretzels" he waves it in front of you.
"ohh. right i got confused" taking the pretzel from his hand you bite into it, dumbfounded he blinks before asking "confused? who are you out eating pretzels with?"
you shrug, taking another bite as you try to hold you're laugh back. it was as if he had taken a blow to the stomach he looked offended and confused himself "give me that" he rips the pretzel from your hand as he decides to eat it.
"wait but you sai-"
"shut up" he starts the engine, driving home.
*・゚:*✧*:・゚*
"are you still mad" he says as he tosses the keys onto the bowl. you both decided to eat at his place, while you tried to not laugh at his childish behavior. "no, are you mad?"
"no" he could say no but he looked mad. over a pretzel? "what?"
"nothing"
I don't know how to explain it, but as we looked at each other. Everything else was quiet, there was a tension. made me feel bubbly inside. even if he was still standing at the doorway while i was leading against the sofa we just stared at each other.
clearing his throat as he breaks eye contact he kicks his shoes off "you keep staring, do you want something"
shaking your head in reply before moving towards him slowly. you could hear yourself screaming inside but there was this feeling, and you wanted to take advantage of it. "y/n" he says as you grab his hands "sorry alright, i'll answer your messages" you tell him as you wrap his hands around you before you hug him. not pushing you away he holds onto you.
"lately i feel like everything bothers you"
you only shrug in response, "hey look at me" his hand makes its way under your chin as he lifts your head to look up at him "what"
"whats with you these days, you've been acting weird"
fuck. should i just do this. his lips are inches away from me....what if i ju-
you were pulled back into reality as his phone ranged. but he didn't pick up, his hands never leaving your sides, his eyes never leaving yours. you felt like your knees were going to give out at any minute due to his intense stare. the phone stops ringing, but it didn't end there. before you could even speak up it rings again.
seeing how you had something to say he grabs his phone looking at who was calling. letting you see the name clearly. and you knew it was her.
"you sure you don't want to answer?"
shaking his head he sticks the phone back into his back pocket after muting it. "i'll answer later, first i wanna know what's been bothering you lately. i feel like you're following me around" he chuckles but he was serious.
letting go off him you step back only to have him pull you back into his chest.
"why" is all he says before closing the gap between the two of you. your heart was beating fast and you wondered if he felt it too. "i'm just looking out for you"
"looking out for me?" he raises a brow in confusion
"you go around too much"
"go around?"
"you know what i mean"
what the fuck are you saying,,,,this isn't how it was suppose to be you feel like running away but he had you in his grip.
"you keep getting in my business these days cause you think i go around too much" he says with a sarcastic tone. " i just don't think you should play with people's feelings like that" fuck it if i'm talking might as well talk
letting go, he steps back "what? where is this coming from" of course he's confused. why wouldn't he be? you never cared about things like where he was or who he was with. you never even cared enough to go with him to see his friends or parties. you didn't meet his eyes after he spoke, scoffing at how you were acting he shakes his head "not that it concerns you but who ever i hook up with, isn't really your business"
"you guys are just fuck buddies, how is that healthy at all"
"it's called killing time, they know what they get into when they come to me" he sighs, brushing his hair back "why am i explaining myself to you?" turning around he walks to the bowl to grab his keys "wait" you rush to grab his arm
"what now?"
"if you're just doing it to kill time, then do it with me"

"Oh fuck yeah!"
"Birdie!"
My face tints a rose-like pink, burning at my cheeks as I scold my sister with wide eyes. She is happy today, and that's rare for us. Regardless, happy or not, her sailor's mouth never fails to mortify me. The patrons of this syrup scented diner stare for a moment, but return to their meal soon enough.
Birdie is fourteen today, and her eyes are eager and swimming with starvation as she inhales the powdered sugar air. I can't really afford this, not right now at least. Probably not tomorrow either, but today is her birthday. She'll only be fourteen once and- mom would have done the same thing. In fact, mom did do the same thing. Many times for me. When I turned twelve, we snuck into a cake shop and ate each sugared treat cased in glass displays. That was my favorite birthday.
I am not brave enough or- stupid enough to steal from anyone else. I have done enough of that this week.
"Dude, they have french toast coated in chocolate syrup."
Birdie is drooling now, I smile at her.
"Whatever you want, Birdie."
It's sad, how this is like Christmas for her. A warm meal at a shitty Mystic Falls Diner for the big one four. I will do more, soon. This however, it will be dealt with if I just take over Riley's night shift at the Grille- she won't mind the time off anyways.
The waitress is a strawberry blonde, her legs seem to go for miles. Her eyes are a pretty blue and her smile is tinted pink. Birdie wastes no time.
"Chocolate syrup french toast please! Heavy emphasis on the chocolate syrup... Ooh! And a stack of four pumpkin pancakes with whipped cream and lots of bacon and eggs on the side. Some orange juice too."
The waitress stifles her grin as she jots Birdie's order down on yellow pad paper.
"And for you?"
Birdie looks at me hopefully. I gaze into her eyes for a moment and pretend that my next words will be a request of pumpkin pancakes too.
"Oh that's everything, I'm not hungry."
Guilt floods them,
"I can hold off on the pump-"
"No Birdie, really I am not hungry."
I'm starving. My stomach growls in protest, luckily quiet enough for only me to hear. Birdie believes me, at least I hope she does as she sinks back into the booth.
The waitress smiles sympathetically, nodding once before scurrying off.
Birdie is impatient, drumming her fingers on the cherry wood as we wait. It isn't just the food she's impatient for. She groans.
"Ahhh- apple! C'mon- can't we just take a two second peek at what's in the big dumb thing?"
My brows twitch in discomfort and urgency, and I lift my finger to hush her. Maybe what that man said was all just to scare me, maybe he thought it was funny. It is the month of halloween after all, I have learned in my years here how serious all of Mystic Falls takes it. Still, I don't wan't to take any chances.
I shake my head at her,
"No. Not happening. That dude told us to keep this locked tight under all circumstances."
Birdie only rolls her eyes at that,
"Pfft. That guy was probably just trying to scare us. Ooh! I bet its drugs, or illegal weapons! Or illegal drug weapons!"
I shush her again.
"It doesn't matter what it is, it's not ours. I'm not opening it. I need it safe till midnight, till I get the payout and we get the hell out of Mystic Falls."
Birdie frowns, eyes gazing at the lonely jack-o-lantern glowing golden on the concrete outside.
"You think all that money is gonna buy us real fancy meds for dad? Like ones that'll get him better quickly?"
I wince at the question, I want to say yes but I truthfully don't know. He's worsened this month, I only hope these days. So does Birdie. It's her birthday, I can't make her sad.
"I'm sure we'll figure it out, we always do. Dad's gonna be fine. We're gonna have lots of money, money for medicine and money for unlimited pumpkin pancakes until you're at least forty three."
Birdie nods in agreement with that statement, "fuck yeah." she whispers. She tries to keep it discreet but, I hear it anyways. I ignore it.
The strawberry blonde waitress returns, juggling Birdie's food on a golden arm. She places four plates down in front of my lanky sister, her eyes light up like a million fireworks have ignited within them.
"Brought you a coffee pot sugar, its on the house."
The waitress, Karen, she smiles softly and it's warm like the coffee pot. She throws pink packets of sugar and small cups of cream in front of me. It'll keep me awake, I'm grateful. I thank her as I pour the bitter drink into the mug and breathe in the aroma.
Birdie is devouring her food as if it will up and leave her.
"My my, all this food. Today a special occasion?" Karen inquires, I nod with a warm grin.
"It's her birthday."
Karen gasps, "A birthday!? Well how old are you sweetheart? Old enough to pay the bill?" She jests.
Birdie shakes her head, teeth crushing a mixture of chocolate whipped pumpkin toast topped with bacon and egg. Whatever she could fit in her mouth. "Nope. Fourteen." She speaks muffled with a mouth full of food- her words are hardly audible, masked by her chewing. I repeat it to the waitress.
"Well then, a birthday calls for a special treat don't it? I'll go get one."
I nod gratefully, "Thanks. Hey um- do you guys have a bathroom?"
She points to the right and I slide out of the booth-gripping the white oak case in my hands. I'll bring it with me. I would be a fool to lose it, let alone leave it with my very occupied sister. I almost don't believe it's anything of importance, probably just some cruel prank. My intuition reminds me just how too good to be true it sounds. Yet, I am hopeful this month. So I'm playing along anyways.
My eyes are glued to the case as I walk right, so much so that I don't see the polished boots in front of me. I gasp, accepting the fate of the floor before it even greets me. We never meet. I clutch on to the fabric smelling of maple and bourbon. It tethers me, lifting me to my feet.
It is silent, I meet ice blue eyes.
Christ...
They bore past my very being, into something I don't even see myself. My soul, maybe. He is tall, tall enough that it makes me feel quite small. He has golden brown hair that curls at the tips, and golden brown stubble that surrounds pink lips. His eyes, they're all I see.
I stumble, he steadies me again with two strong hands.
"Holy shit!" Birdie calls, maybe amused- maybe relieved. She saw that, everyone saw that. My cheeks are pink again, as are the tips of my ears. The man's eyes wander around us, and it seems like that is enough for everyone. They all mind their business and return to their meals. As if he just cast a spell to detour their gazes.
His hands still grasp me as his eyes devour my composure.
"Are you all right?" His voice is like honey, stuck in a glass pot but glazing sweetness dripping from the very lid. It is deep, accented. He isn't from here.
I can't speak, I feel like I am crushed under his boot, the same one I tripped over. I only nod.
He releases me, slowly.
His eyes remain on mine, until they don't. He peers at the white oak case with an expression I cannot begin to describe. I watch him for a moment, analyzing. Fear strums at my core... its familiarity- I think. Or maybe I am just paranoid. I gulp, bending down to collect the case in my hands in an instant before he gets the chance to. I gaze at it, praying my fall didn't disrupt whatever lay inside.
He gazes at it too.
I have to speak now, otherwise I will be stuck frozen here.
"I apologize I um- I should have been paying more attention."
He doesn't tear his gaze away from the case. Not at first, for a moment that seems far too long for me to stomach. He breaks, eventually and a part of me is relieved but it seems a bigger part of me wishes he would just return his stare toward the case again. His eyes feel like they're burning through me. Like as if I try and speak again, my voice will falter to nothingness.
"You're alright, sweetheart. On you go."
Sweetheart. It calms the nerves. I nod gratefully, but his eyes returning to what is grasped in my hands just reminds me of why exactly I should be stepping rather than shaking. A gulp, then I am on my way, feet clashing against the noir tiles. Birdie is accompanied by the waitress, I catch glimpse in a napkin holder and sigh in relief as I push through the faded blue door.
I am eager to release the case from my burning hands, I was gripping it tight enough to callous my reddened palms. I throw it on the ceramic sink as the faucet squeaks, my trembling hands splash my pink face with warm water. I heat even more.
The mirror greets my pallid features, sunken in with exhaustion and hunger. It also meets my eyes, swimming with a melting pot of emotions. My breaths are shallow and labored, and my heart is pounding on its cages.
I splash my face again and yet? I cannot shake the feeling that this won't be the last time I see that man again...

I don’t like you, Mason Mount | Chapter 7
Previous chapter | Next chapter
Masterlist
"Excuse me, can you help me with... Daniela?"
"Mason?" I say, the books on my arms almost falling to the floor. "What are you doing here?"
"What are you doing here?"
"I work here. I thought I had told you about it."
"Yes, you did. But you didn’t say where exactly."
"Oh, so my sister didn’t tell you about it when she also told you about our holidays?"
"I'm sorry about that."
"Whatever" I say. After confessing all my feelings for Mason and crying my eyes out, Monica also confessed that she had told him about Portugal and the restaurant, that she had convinced him to take his family there. Us bumping into each other, hadn't been a coincidence. She had planned it all, and look how it ended.
"I promise this has been just a coincidence. I was doing a Nike event at their shop, and my agent told me there was a bookshop close by."
"So that's why all those teenage girls were queueing when I arrived earlier. They were there for you."
"Yeah" he smiles, that dimple of his showing and making me feel something on my stomach. Something I hadn't felt for the past six months. But no. That's not it. I’m over him and this is just that I am hungry. I didn't eat much for breakfast, and that's what I'm feeling. Nothing else. "So, can you help me find some books or not?"
"I guess I can" I sigh, putting the ones I was holding back where they belong. "What do you need?"
"Something for my nephew and my nieces. They are all coming over for Christmas."
"How old were they? I know you told me but I can’t remember."
"Six, five and four."
"What do they like?"
"The three of them are obsessed with dinosaurs for some reason. Anything Disney too. And they love painting, they could be entertained with that for hours."
"Ok, follow me."
"How long have you been working here?" Mason asks while we move through the shop.
"A couple of years."
"And do you like it?"
"I do, yes. I've always loved books, and for years I said I wanted to open my own bookshop with maybe a coffee shop and some cats."
"You never mentioned it when we talked. Only that you loved cats" he chuckles.
"I am a cat lady, yes. Is there a problem with that?" I say, giving him a book.
"No, not all. It actually fits you. Liking cats, I mean. You are like them."
"What do you mean?"
"Well... They look all soft on the outside but can bite, and you are the opposite. You look like you can bite, but are a softie on the inside. And then you also have some issues trusting people when you first meet them, but if someone manages to get through all that and earn your trust, you happen to be the loveliest person. There will be moments when you will pull out your claws to defend yourself because that's just who you are, but when you love someone, you do it unconditionally."
"That's... That's..." That's true. That's me. He's gotten it right. How can he know me so well?
"Lost your words? Maybe because I'm right?" he asks with a cheeky smile.
"No, I have not lost them. And no, you aren't right."
"The colour of your face says otherwise."
"Do you want me to call one of my coworkers to help you with this? I think there is a girl who happens to like you, God knows why."
"There is no need, I'll behave."
"You better" I say, putting two more books on his arms.
"More?" he asks.
"Oh, c'mon Mount. They are for your family and you have the money to pay for them. Better waste it on this that on whatever you are wearing right now."
"Oh, I had missed hearing you say that you hate my clothes" he laughs.
"Your girlfriend doesn't do it?"
"She doesn't" he says, his smile disappearing from his face.
"Well, it was expected. She's dating you, you have to be blind to do it."
"Yeah" he murmurs.
"Everything ok?"
"Yes, don't worry. More books?"
"More books" I say, moving to another bookcase, but still thinking about how his face changed when I mentioned his girlfriend.
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"They are gonna love them. Thank you very much, Daniela."
"Just doing my job" I say while I finish wrapping the last book.
"How is your family doing? I haven't asked."
"Good, good. Same as always. Though I think Lola has a new crush."
"She doesn't like me anymore?"
"She still does, but I think she currently likes your bff a lot more. And I don't blame her, he's hot."
"My bff? Do you mean Dec?"
"Yep."
"Oh, wow. The betrayal. From both of you."
"Sorry" I shrug. "But can I... Can I ask you a favour?"
"Wait, wait, wait. You... Are asking me... A favour? It's a Christmas miracle!" he laughs.
"Shut up, Mount. It's for Lola, not me."
"Ok, I'm listening."
"I've been looking for tickets for your Boxing Day game everywhere because it is against West Ham, but they are expensive as hell. Could you..."
"Get you some?" he asks with a stupid grin.
"Yes."
"I can. But on one condition."
"What" I say, rolling my eyes.
"You have to come to the game. Maybe wear my shirt if you still have it."
"I still have it."
"You do?"
"Yeah. It's somewhere at the back of my wardrobe, but I still have it."
"Great. Then you have to come to the game and wear it."
"Is it necessary?"
"It is. Do we have a deal?" he says, offering me his hand.
"I guess we do" I say, shaking it and feeling goosebumps all over my arm. But I'm getting goosebumps because I'm cold. Someone opened the door, and this reaction is because the cold came in. Nothing else.
"I'll text you when I get them."
"You still have my number?" I ask. "I thought that after what happened at the restaurant..."
"I tried do delete it more than once, but... I don't know" he shrugs. "I just couldn't do it. What about you?"
"Uh?"
"Do you still have my number."
"I do" I confess. I've also tried to delete it a few times, but I haven't been able to. There was something stopping me.
"Mason, it's time to go" a man says behind him.
"Yes, yes. Thank you very much for your help, I'll keep you updated about the tickets."
"Thank you" I say.
"Merry Christmas, Daniela."
"Merry Christmas, Mason."

Scythe: Oh, interesting...
Trashcan Man: Sounds like a scam to me.
Eclipse: (defensive) This was not a waste of money!
Sun: Eclipse, don't be so defensive.
Eclipse: Sorry...

Trashcan Man:(excited) I think I'm gonna win!
(Roxy then flies past Trashcan Man using the bullet bill power up.)
Trashcan Man: What the Hell!?
Roxy:(excited) Yeah, victory!!!
Trashcan Man: What was that!?
Roxy: I used the bullet bill power up.
Scythe: What are power ups?
Eclipse: Power ups are items you can use to help you win.
Trashcan Man: Doesn't that make winning based on luck rather than skill?
Eclipse: There's still some skill involving on when you use them.
Trashcan Man: Oh.
3.(The second game was in Moo Moo Meadows. Hunter obtained a red shell.)
Hunter: Ohh, what's this?
(Hunter throws the red shell and hits Moon)

Hunter: Ohh, this shell looks powerful. Let's see what it does.
(Hunter throws the blue shell, and Sun sees it heading straight towards him).
Sun:(Scared) Ahh!!!
(The blue shell hits Sun, and Hunter manages to win.)
Hunter: Wait, I won? I just wanted to see what that shell does.
Eclipse: Yep, the blue shell attacks whoever is in first and gives whoever is in second a chance to win instead.
Hunter: That is so cool.
Outro
Sun: Well, I hope you guys enjoyed the video. Please like and subscribe, especially to the new guys, and we hope to see you all later.

I’m With You-Part Four// Lee (Bones and All)
Warnings: kissing, major fluff, cursing, Lee “cheating”, upset reader, reader triggered into thinking about her past
You and Lee walked into the gates of the carnival together, following a dad carrying his little daughter up on his shoulders. You and Lee smiled upon hearing the young girl giggle. He took your hand, leading you to the ferris wheel.
The two of you continued to hold hands as you rode the ride. It was fun looking over the area and all the people from up above and to feel Lee’s hand in yours. He turned his head, a soft smile spread over his lips. You blinked, taking in the adoring look in his gaze. It felt like the entire moment was in slow motion.
Lee closed his eyes, leaned in and kissed you. His lips were soft and gentle, but eager. You kissed him back, feeling a sense of relief. Finally, it was happening. The last few days, it had been hard to suppress what you’d been feeling. You knew it was fast, but it was such an adrenaline rush. Your entire body felt warm and tingly. You had never felt better in your whole life.
He touched your face, holding your cheek delicately as he kissed you deeper and deeper. He put his arm around you, pulling you close to him. Eventually, he pulled away, “Wow.” he said. "Yeah." you said, at a loss of anything else to say. "That was perfect." Lee said, placing his forehead on yours, gently. "Let's do it again." you said, grinning, and he smirked right back at you.
Your ride on the ferris wheel came to an end and you held hands as you got off. You had never been a part of a couple before, but this felt like this was it. The two of you walked around the carnival, playing games here and there. After a while, all the walking and the driving earlier in the day was making you tired. "Lee, do you wanna head back to the truck? I'm getting sleepy." you admitted.
"Oh okay, you go ahead, I'm gonna grab something to eat, though. I'll be there soon." You slipped your arms around his bicep, "Okay." you kissed his cheek. "See you in a bit." "Wait." he said, taking a gentle hold onto your arms. "What?" you asked him, smiling like an idiot, but you didn't care. "You missed." he replied, leaning in and panting a soft kiss on your lips. You giggled happily through the kiss and pulled away. You felt him watching you protectively as you left him. You made your way to the truck, and got in, laying down across the seat, relaxing. You felt so blissful, you were falling in love, you just knew it.
Lee got a lemonade to drink, as he sat on a short brick wall near one of the rides, and he just waited. He was people watching. But under the surface, there was something more happening. He had done this before, unfortunately many times. He knew what he was looking for, more like: who he was looking for.
There was a certain type of person that Lee looked for every time. He never planned it, things just usually happened. He hated this part of himself. But it was a means to an end. He had to do it. He looked across the way, a carnie was razzing a little kid about throwing the ball underhand. "Now, don't come back unless you've got more tickets. But you'd be wasting your money anyway." The carnie said smugly.
Now this was the type of human Lee was hunting for. He had a nasty, hateful attitude. There was no way he had a girlfriend, wife, or anyone in his life that truly loved him. This was it. Lee approached the man, flirted a bit, and they made plans to meet up when he closed up, to hang out and smoke weed. "See you in an hour?" Lee asked, narrowing his eyes at the other man. "Yeah, you will."
You were in the truck by yourself for awhile, a little longer than expected. But just as you began to worry about him, Lee appeared outside the truck. "Hey, miss me?" he said with a smirk, upon opening the driver's door and climbing into the truck. "I did, actually." "Aw," he cooed, putting his arm around you, "you're so cute." He pressed a kiss to your temple.
"I got a guy that'll come around in a little while to sell me some weed. Hope that's okay." he said plainly. "Weed?" you frowned at him, "Lee, don't you think we should save our cash for more important things?" "It's okay, babe. We'll be fine, don't worry." He touched your face, running his thumb over your cheek and he kissed you on the forehead in a comforting and reassuring way.
You sat together in the truck, listening to the radio and cuddling. Lee held you in his arms as you sat in between his legs and your head was laying against his chest. You could hear his heart beating. Lee rested his head on the window as he softly sang along to the songs. He somehow knew just about every tune that came on. You couldn’t think of a time in your life where you felt more at ease, or so loved.
After a while, you noticed someone coming near the truck. Lee saw him too, "Just give me a few minutes." he said, moving slowly so you could sit up and he could exit the truck. The guy outside didn't pay you any mind, he was focused on Lee. You could hear them talking, though the sound of their voices was muffled some.
"Your girlfriend leave?" Carnival Guy asked Lee. "Man, I told you: she was just a friend." You couldn't help but be hurt by this. That wasn't your Lee out there. It was like he was putting on some sort of show, but for what? You saw Carnival Guy smile at what he had heard. "You smoke right?" he asked Lee, holding a joint out to him as Lee approached him. Lee was grinning, "Yeah, man."
He took the joint from the carnie, brought it up to his mouth, taking a drag. He blew out some smoke, then he tucked his arm around the other man, kissing him roughly. Your heart dropped. How could Lee kiss someone else after kissing you on the ferris wheel earlier? You had such a romantic evening together. You felt like he was your boyfriend. Now it was like all of that went out the window.
Lee moved his mouth to the carnie's neck, biting him a little, and the two men pushed each other, flirting intensely. "Kinky fucker." you heard the other man say. Lee chuckled, taking another toke from the joint and running into the cornfield across the road from where you were in the parked truck. Carnival guy followed right behind him.
You had never felt so betrayed, or stupid in your life. Even when your parents kicked you out, it wasn't unexpected, because they had been so indifferent to you for your whole eighteen years. But with Lee, things were totally opposite. You thought he cared about you, he wanted you, maybe even loved you. You were at a loss. You were confused. You wanted to see what in the world was going on with him. You decided to confront him, no matter what he was doing with Carnival Guy.
