Hello everyone!
Sorry for being inactive in the last couple of days.
A dear friend of my cousin needs help to get her family evacuated from Gaza. Down below is a gofundme link. If you can help, please do so, it would be very much appreciated. Just sharing this post would also mean a lot.
Here is Tasnim's letter.
"Dear compassionate souls,
I come to you with a plea from the depths of my heart, a plea for compassion, empathy, and the chance for a family to reclaim their shattered dreams amidst the relentless chaos of war.
My beloved sister, Nour Thabit, a dedicated English teacher and a devoted mother, along with her husband who runs a small electronics business, and their three precious children, have been engulfed in the horrors of the ongoing attacks happening in Gaza. They have seen their home reduced to rubble, their livelihoods snatched away, and their hopes and aspirations torn apart by the merciless hands of war.
Hadi, the eldest at only six years old, was filled with the innocent excitement of starting school, which he only got to experience for one month. He now only dreams of a life far away from the deafening echoes of bombs and screams of children under the rubble; a life where he could live his dream of riding horses like he used to do, on the shores of Gaza.
"I miss you, please take me away from here!" - the last sentence I heard from Hadi, on a rare occasion when I am able to reach my family since internet and electircity are cut off. Each time I do hear from them I can hear the terror and the trauma in their voice even though they are trying so hard to stay strong and not let it show.
Amr, at four years old, used to revel in the joy of playing football and the simple pleasures of kindergarten, until the sounds of violence forced him to flee, leaving behind his beloved activities and the safety of routine.
And sweet Julia, just two years old, now battles the cruel grip of waterborne illness, a consequence of being deprived of very basic necessities like clean water which my family got deprived off for more than 4 months now.
Their journey has been one of unfathomable trauma and loss. Moving from place to place, seeking refuge in a world where safety feels like a distant memory, they have witnessed horrors no family should ever endure. My sister tried all in her powers to shield her children's innocence, shattered by the brutal reality of death and destruction that surrounds them; she was even coming up with comforting lies about sounds of bombings being fireworks. But it soon became impossible to build any sort of illusion of safety since my sister and her family witnessed people dying before their eyes.
My heart aches as I witness their struggle, for there is no refuge left to seek. They live now in a makeshift tent, devoid of the most basic necessities, their health deteriorating with each passing day.
But amidst the despair, there glimmers a fragile hope. A chance to escape the nightmare they find themselves trapped in, a chance to rebuild their shattered lives and reclaim the dreams that once filled their hearts with joy.
Yet, this chance comes at a cost. A fee of $8000 stands between them and the border to safety, a seemingly insurmountable obstacle in their path to freedom and peace. The only way to cross the border with Egypt is to pay this fee at the checkpoint. The rest of my family is also still in Gaza but we are hoping we can at least save the kids, and with heavy heart we are making this type of prioritizing. No one should have to make choices like this. My whole family was stripped out of everything which is why there will be additional costs to cover up for the traveling and living expenses during the travels. Their only hope right now is to reach the safety of Canada where they can recieve further help from our relatives who migrated there and a chance to rebuild their lives.
So, I humbly implore you, dear friends, to open your hearts and extend a helping hand to my sister and her family. Let us come together in solidarity, in kindness, and in the unwavering belief that humanity still exists in this world. Every contibution counts. Even if you are not able to help financially, please share our story.
Let us give them the chance they so desperately deserve, to find peace, to heal, and to build a future filled with hope and possibility.
With deepest gratitude and endless hope,
Tasnim Atia
p.s.
Since I don't have a bank account in a "gofundme" eligible country, your generous contributions will be safely managed and distributed to my sister's family through the trusted hands of my dear friend, Milena, whose family (living in the UK) have graciously offered their assistance in ensuring that every donation reaches its intended recipients promptly and securely. Your support will directly impact the lives of my sister, her husband, and their three children, providing them with the means to escape the horrors of war and rebuild their shattered lives. Thank you for entrusting us with your kindness and compassion. Together, we can make a difference."

Could you do a headcanon with Ethan Landry and Carpenter!reader (I love love ur fics btw)
hiii, thank you so much for the love
I hope you like how I interpretate your idea, for this I wanted to do it with gf ethan because when you sent the idea my mind started to flow with reader reaction during the act three
credits to CZsWorld and his video of 156 Things You Missed on Scream VI because it helped me to write a part of the shrine
being a Carpenter and dating Ethan Landry
Since your older sister left the house due to a fight with your mom, you and Tara stayed together
Due to Tara being the oldest by a year, she was the one that took care of you when your mom was on a work trip
Like the one that changed everyone lives with the return of ghostface
That night while you and Tara were preparing dinner, she answered a call that seemed innocent and some prank at the beggining, but the moment it turned threatening, Tara instructed you to run towards the second floor and call the police
Even if you wanted to stay with her, she was quick to push you to the second floor
While you were in there calling the police, you cried hearing how your sister was being attacked, finally getting down the moment you heard the police on the first floor
During the whole night at the hospital, you spend it answering the police questions and waiting in Tara's room unable to sleep
The arrive of Sam along with her boyfriend was a relief to you because having your older sister meant someone to take care of both of you
But the killings didn't stopped, ending in loosing Wes, sheriff Judy and Dewey; and you, Tara and Richie were attacked at the hospital, leaving you with a medium scar in your thigh and a small one in your back
Deciding that leaving the city was the best for yours and Tara security, Sam took the decision to move to Modesto where she and Richie lived
Unfortunately, Tara didn't had her inhaler with her and the replace was at Amber's house
Hell broke in there because of the reveal of Amber as the murder when she shot Liv on the head, and then Richie when he stabbed Sam
So, after a long night that ended up in you, Sam, Tara, Chad, Mindy and Sidney and Gale, the OG's, injured, the killing spree was over
Since your mom ignored Sam after she told you and Tara the truth about her biological father, you felt bad for her because she did everything to protect both of you
So you started to hang out more with her to recover the lost time
After Tara and the twins finished high school, they decided to go to Blackmore University in New York, along with you since you mannaged to finish your last year online
Sam also went with the four of you to keep an eye on both of you, which Tara didn't like
While Tara decided that the best way to cope with the situation was forgetting what happened and try to live her life as a normal young adult, you got closer to Sam because you felt safe with her
Renting an apartment close to the university, the three of you manage to get a roommate named Quinn to share the costs of living there, who was the daughter of a detective
Meanwhile, Chad and Mindy stayed in the dorms
That's how you and Ethan met
He was a little shy and quiet, and that's what you liked of him, also how he was sweet, nice and caring with you
So, after three months of knowing each other, you and Ethan started a relationship
But before he had a small interrogative by Sam, Tara, Mindy and Chad
Ethan was basically the perfect boyfriend
He listen to everything you said, took notice of small mannerisms you use to do, remember everything you liked, help you with your homework or school projects, almost every morning got your favourite drink from your favourite cafeteria or your favourite snacks, give you gifts on random days
Taking you to dates to dinner, to the movies, to the theater, etc
You trusted him enough to tell him what happened last year
When Halloween was around the corner and a frathernity was organizing a party where all the friend group planned to go, Sam didn't let you and Tara go
"What about we stay in your department or in my dorm and have a movie night?", Ethan suggested while walking around campus
"Oh, we're going to that party", you exclaimed
"I thought Sam forbidden you and Tara to go to the party"
"She did, but she also has her therapy session that night, so we are going to scape the apartment, and Quinn already said she will cover us, anyway, what are you going to use as a costume?"
"I was thinking about the cardboard knight costume of Murder Party"
"Sounds interesting! I might be using something similar so that way we can be complementing each other"
"I like that idea", Ethan smiled leaning over to give you a kiss that you acepted with a smile
After an emergency go out shopping with Tara, both of you got your costumes
The night of the party, the moment Sam anounced she was going, you and Tara were getting ready to leave for the party
While Tara dressed as a pirate, you chose to be a princess, with your outfit that consisted in a short pink dress with silver platform ankle boots and a tiara with your hair in small waves
A few minutes after Sam left the building, you and Tara practically run towards the campus which wasn't so far
Arriving at the frat house, you were quick to glue to Ethan and Chad while Tara stayed with her friends but still been supervised by Mindy and Anika
Things were normal for a few hours, except for the people dressed as ghostface, until Tara got into little trouble
"Hey, big guy, you're needed", Anika called, "You too little Carpenter"
Knowing it was about Tara, all of you ran towards the stairs where a drunk Tara was going to the second floor with a random guy
"Hey partner!", Chad called getting their attention, "Tara's good down here"
"Sorry, bro, I didn't catch that", the random guy said
"Yeah, you did", Chad laughed sarcastically
"Tara, what if we go to get some shots", you tried to convince her to stay, "A fun contest between sisters"
"Chad, Y/N, it's fine", Tara said getting down from some stairs, "I want to"
"No, you don't", you continue to try, "Just stay here with us, please"
"Yeah, see, Chad?", the creepy guy intervined, "She wants to, Y/N can come too, to have more fun"
"Don't talk to her", Ethan intervined steping closer to you
Taking Tara by the arm with strength causing her to fall at what Chad was quick to pull him to the first floor and start a small fight, while you kneeled next to Tara to help her
Things started to get violent, until Sam arrived tasing the creepy guy in the balls leaving him in the floor, but Tara wasn't happy to see her sister there, so she was quick to leave the party with Sam and the rest of you following close
"Tara, will you stop?", Sam demanded walking behind her
"I cannot believe you did that! You embarrased me", Tara yelled
"That guy was a dick", Sam yelled in response, "He was gonna take advantage of you"
"So?"
"You did not say that!", you intervined getting closer to them
"So?"
"If I want to hook up with an asshole, that's my decision! It's my decision", Tara exclaimed, "It's not about you! You're out of mine and Y/N lives for five years, and then you can't leave us alone for five minutes"
"Hey! I'm happy to have Sam around us", you said standing by their side
"Because you're not dealing with what happened to us, Y/N has gone with me sometimes with my therapist to talk about it, have you even gone to see the counselor once?"
"No, I'm not going to"
"Why not?", Sam asked
"Because I'm uninterested in living in the past like you are"
"What's that supposed to mean?", Sam questioned a little shocked
"Guys, come on", Chad tried to stop the discussion but it didn't work
"It means I'm not gonna let what happened to us for three days define the rest of my life", Tara explained
"So you're just gonna pretend it never happened", Sam concluded
"What are you doing here, Sam? In New York", Tara sighed, "You're working two shitty jobs to help with rent, whatever, but what's your plan? I know what I'm gonna do, okay? Because I'm gonna keep going to college, I'm gonna get my degree, and I'm gonna live my life"
"I was the one who told Sam about our plans to move here", you revealed surprising her, "And convinced her to come with us"
"Why did you do that?", Tara questioned
"Because I feel safer with her around", you exclaimed
"Are you fucking serious?", Tara yelled, "She is here breathing in our necks because of you?"
"Exactly", you responded in the same way, "You're welcome"
"I'm just trying to look out for you", Sam spoke looking at the both of you
"I know you are", Tara sighed more calmed, "You can't do it for the rest of my life, though, you have to let me go, you have to let us go"
But before Sam could say anything, a group of random girls throw a drink towards her accusing her to be a murderer
Arriving at the apartment Tara was quick to enter her room while you did the same to change into your pajamas that consisted in an oversized shirt and biker shorts and to return to the living room where the rest was and sit with Ethan in the one-person couch
Watching the news, they anounced that there was a multiple murder that night alerting everyone because ghostsface masks were involved
Of course the instant reaction of Sam towards that was to you and Tara to pack your things to move, but of course both of you refused
Getting a call from detective Bailey, Sam started to make her way to the police station, at what you and Tara decided to follow her
But Ghostface apeared threatening to kill the three of you, ending up in a tense scene in the bodega close to the apartment, fortunately getting alive from there
So, after being in the police station all night, meeting Kirby Reed and knowing by Gale that Sidney decided to not intervined and go away, which the three of you understand
After changing clothes and being a little more calmed and reuniting with the others, all of you decided to have a little reunion to discuss the situation
"Okay, nerds, listen up!", Mindy started with her monologue, "As terrifying as this all is, I’m actually glad I get a chance to redeem myself for not calling the killers last time, the way I see it, someone is out making a sequel to the requel?"
"What's a requel?", Anika asked
"You'are beautiful sweetie, let's hold questions to the end", Mindy responded
"Stab 1 took place in Woodsboro, Stab 2 took place in college", Sam reminded
"So the killer is trying to copy the movies?", Tara suggested
"That is one posibility", Mindy nodded, "Heroes now in college, check, suspicious new characters brought into to add to the suspect list and our body count, check, check and check"
"I don't like this", Ethan murmured at what you sitting by his side took his hand in yours
"But it can't be just about Stab 2"
"Why not?", Tara frowned at Mindy comment
"It make sense if this just a sequel, but we are not in a sequel, because no one does sequels anymore, we're in a franchise!", Mindy exclaimed, "And there are certain rules to in a continuing franchise, rule one: everything is bigger than last time, bigger budget, bigger cast, bigger body count, longer chasings, shoot outs, beheadings, you've got to duplicate everything to make people keep coming back; rule two: whatever happen last time expect the opposite, franchises only survive by suberting expectations, if the killers last time were whiny snowflake film nerds with Letterboxd accounts instead of personalities, you can bet the opposite will be though here; and rule three: no one is safe, legacy characters are expandable at this point, usually brought back only to be killed of in some cheap bit of nostalgia, it's not looking too good for Gale and Kirby, and that's not even the worst part"
"This is the part were she tells us the worst part", Chad said writting in his notebook
"The worst part is franchises are just continuing episodic stallments designed to boost an IP, which means, main characters are completely expandable too, Laurie Strode, Nancy Thompson, Ellen Ripley, Sally Hardessy, Jigsaw, Tony Stark, James Bond, even Luke Skywalker, all died so their franchises could live on, that means it's not just us friend group, any of us could go at anytime, specially Sam, Tara and Y/N"
"Wait, wait, wait", Ethan spoke, "Any of us? Am I in the friend group?Am I like one of the targets? Am I gonna die a virgin?"
"You're not a virgin", you exclaimed turning to look him while frowning, "And we both know it"
"That was a weird and gross overshare", Mindy interrupted, "But that bring us to our current suspects, Ethan, the shy dorky guy who no one suspects because he's so shy and dorky"
"Wait, why am I on the suspect list? Because I randomly Chad's roommate and Y/N and I are dating?"
"Rommate lotteries can be juked, you could've fix it to be next to us, and that also applies to your relationship with Y/N; Quinn, the slutty roommate, a horror movie classic"
"Sex positive, but, thank you?"
"Hmm, how did you come up to live with Sam, Tara and Y/N?", Mindy asked
"I answered their add online"
"Okay, say no more, you already implicated yourself enough"
"It was an anonymous add, Mindy", Tara said, "And you know we vetted her, plus her dad is a cop"
"And that makes her more likely that she is the killer, because having a cop dad is a great cover, you don't remeber how this movies work, Tara?!
"Is she always like this?", Quinn asked at what Sam nodded
"And finally, Anika, never trust the love interest, that also goes to you, Y/N"
For the rest of the day, all of you tried to stay together or in pairs, untill the night were everyone will be having a sleepover at the appartment, but Ethan couldn't go because he had econ that night
Things started normal at first, until Danny, the cute neighboor and Sam's boyfriend airdroped a photo in which the scene of Quinn being stabbed by ghostface in her room followed by screams and hits inside her room, and then a creepy silence was enough to run towards her door
Hell was released when the dead body of Quinn was thrown out of the room towards the group landing on Anika
In a reflex move, Chad took Tara's hand who took you by your arm dragging the three of you to the entrance door to scape, but leaving the rest inside, but relazing that the rest were still inside the three of you tried to enter again but all of your keys were inside
The next morning, Ethan arrived at the scene instantly being interrogated by Chad about where he was last night, at what he said that he was at econ, just what he told you the day before
After everyone was more calmed, Gale lead the group to a old theater that now was a shrine dedicated to ghostface and the Stab franchise, from some posters to all of the ghostface robes, everything was there, except the masks
Coming out with a plan to catch ghostface in broad daylight and in a public space, you along with your sisters put yourselves as the bait while the others wait in the van where Kirby will be tracking the origin of the call
Unfortunately, the call was track down in the same appartment building where Gale lives, making the three of you to "steal" Wayne's police car and drive towards there, arriving when she was laying on the floor with life threatening injuries but alive
Another plan was made: catching ghostface in the shrine and traveling in group
Arriving at the subway, and due to the crowd station because of Halloween, the group got separated in two, with you, Sam, Tara, Chad and Danny in a train, and Mindy and Ethan waiting for the next one
Being the first ones to arrive at the shrine and leaving Danny outside, Tara and Chad went to the snack bar, while you stayed with Sam, trying to contact Ethan or Mindy but none of them responded
Being there, you just took a seat in the steps of the stage watching how Sam took the old knife that once belonged to her father
"Should I grab a knife too?", you asked getting her attention
"Only for security", Sam nodded
Walking a little, you watched the collection until you stopped in front of a display where a draw of Richie's death was along with a knife covered in blood, so you opened it to take the knife and hide it in the back of your jeans
Things went down quickly when Sam recieved a call from detective Bailey warning about Kirby being ghostface due to being to affected by the Woodsboro 2011 masacre
Running to get Chad and Tara, they informed that ghostface was there and where attacked by him, so a persecution in the whole theater started, realizing that they were two of them when Chad was stabbed multiple times by them leaving him in the floor
Keeping running and dragging Tara, the three of you returned to the central part of the shrine only to being circled by the two ghostface at what Sam took some brick from the floor to defend yourselves
But the son-to-be fight was interrupted by a injured but alive Kirby who started shooting at the masked killers
When detective Bailey arrived, in a unexpected move, he shot Kirby while the two ghostfaces
"Great job, both of you", Wayne praised his two partners leaving the three of you shocked
"You?", Tara asked in shock
"Yeah, of course me", Wayne responded, "Frankly, I expected more from the three of you after what you did to us"
"What do you mean, 'us'?", Tara asked again
The moment you saw the face of one of the ghostface you felt like something broke inside of you, most exactly your heart
Sensing how you must be feeling, Sam was quick to hold one of your hands
"Mindy was right", Ethan laughed, "It was easy to juke the roommate lottery, all I had to do to meet you was room with a conceited, condescending alpha literally named Chad, fuck it felt good to kill him! And Y/n, you were never part of the plan, but we kinda connected, so being in a relationship with you was even better for this"
"Fuck you", was the only thing that was able to come out of your mouth at that moment
"This was your grandmother's, Sam", Ethan continued pointing at the mask, "Nancy Loomis, really runs in the fucking family, doesn't it? Speaking of family...wait for it, my name's not Ethan Landry, is it, dad?"
"Well, that explains why I never met your parents", you commented with your arms crossed, "Wait a second, if you are father and son, that means Quinn was also part of your family, and most probably knew the twisted plan, and she was "killed" last night, or it was all fake, am I right?"
"I told you she has a great mind", Ethan murmured to his father while the other ghostface took their mask out
"Hey, roomies", Quinn sing softly, "You didn't see that coming, did you?"
"Yeah, because you died!", Tara exclaimed
"Kind of didn't, though", Quinn said, "It was a good way to get off the suspect list, stab Gale Weathers, stab Mindy on the train, that sort of things"
"Yep, and I just made sure I was first on the scene so I could switch her body out with a fresh one", Wayne explained like it was a normal thing, "Little fake blood, a prosthetic, you'd be amazed at what a grieving father can get away with"
"I got Stu Macher's mask", Quinn spoke now being at one side behind some displays, "He was my favorite"
"Nice, that's number three", Wayne continued refering to the masks, That's two, which leaves your father's, this is what we've been counting down to, Sam, I'm gonna need you to put it on"
"Fuck you!", Sam yelled throwing the mask away
That action made Ethan slash Sam's arm scaring you and Tara more
"What? What is this? You did this as a family?", Sam interrogated
"Hell yeah, bitch!", Quinn screamed getting closer to the three of you, "You should know better than anyone"
"They're still not getting it", Ethan giggled
"I don't know what you believe, but I didn't commit those murders in Woodsboro", Sam said with desesperation, "It wasn't me!"
"We know that", Wayne spoke again, "Of course you didn't, you think this is based on some bullshit conspiracy theory? Come on, who do you think started the rumors about you in first place?"
"Do you know how easy it was to turn Sam from the hero of Woodsboro into the villain?", Quinn mocked, "How easy it is to convice the world to believe the worst in people rather than the best?"
"Because it's not enough to just kill someone these days", Ethan continued, "You have to assassinate their character first, so when dad here "discovers" your horribly mutilated bodies posed with Sam wearing her father's mask, he'll say some poor bastard read on the internet that you're the real ghostface and took matters into their own deluded hands"
"Exactly! That's why it's the perfect alibi", Wayne exclaimed, "All the best lies are based on the truth, and you're a killer, just like your father"
"No, I'm not!", Sam denied
"Yes, you are, you motherfucker!", Quinn yelled, "You killed our brother!"
"What are you talking about?", Sam questioned
"You said your brother died in a car accident", Tara reminded
"No, no no, you sweet, dumb thing", Ethan spoke again, "He died in Woodsboro at the hands of your bitch sister"
"Wait a second", you said finally realizing everything, "Curly and kinda light hair, light colored eyes, Richie was your son and sibling"
"Yeah", Wayne nodded
Slightly turning around, Sam recieved a quick stab near her chest by Ethan, which made the three of you to try to scape but again you were circled
"Now! It wasn't until I saw that photograph of what you'd actually done to him that I knew, that I knew you had to fucking die! You had to be punished! Along with anyone else who stands in our way", Wayne continued to yell
"There she is", Quinn murmured with her knife against Sam's throat noticing the look in her eyes, "There's the fucking killer"
"Great parenting job, by the way", Tara commented at what you snorted
"Shut your whore fucking mouth!", Quinn screamed pushing the three of you to the center of the space
"Have I been a perfect dad? No", Wayne proceeded, "Have I maybe overindulged Richie's love of these little movies? Yeah, maybe, for me, they're just a little dark, but...Richie really loved them, he loved them! He even made a few of his own"
In the screen on the scenary, one of Richie's home made movies was playing while Wayne started to climb the stairs
"There's a very special bond between a father and his first son"
Hearing that phrase, you turn your head to look at your psycho boyfriend with pity at what he shared a look with you that demostrated a little bit of pain, but he hide it quickly pointing his knife at you, making you return your attention to the stage
"Which is why I helped him build this collection"
"This was all his?", Sam asked
"Yes, he's a very passionate collector, and he inspired others, we had to kill those two wannabe film students because, well, we had to do kill you first, Sam, I put the theater in their name, then good old detective Bailey would've just stumble on it, but I didn't have to because, by golly, that Gale Weathers is one hell of a journalist, I built a tribute to my son, which is why this is where you have to die, Sam, surrounded by the things he loved the most"
"What happens next? After you're done with us you just disappear?"
"No! We got to hurry over the hospital and make sure Mindy and Gale don't pull through, because everybody dies, Sam! Everyone who had anything to do with the death of my son suffers and dies, now put on the mask"
"He was so pathetic", Sam sighed
"That's not true", Wayne suttered
"Yeah, your son, he was a man-baby who made his girlfriend do all the killing"
"He was a strong, virile young man", Wayne insisted slightly trembling
"He was a limp-dick little fuck who cried before I slit his throat"
With that last phrase, hell got loose because Quinn angry for hearing those words of her late brother loose control running towards the three of you which caused to you and Tara to hit her with the blocks, running towards a stairs thanks to a distraction by a very alive Kirby who shoot at Wayne
Stopping for a second, you turn to look at Sam stabbing Ethan repeatedly in the chest and shoulder, before following Tara on the stairs to the second floor, at what you were quick to grab your knife from your jeans
Once Sam was by your side, the three of you started to walk in the little to no space being careful to not fall
Until a bullet hit where you were passing, causing you to almost fall if it wasn't for your sisters holding your hands
"Guys, I'm sliping", you said with desesperation
"We got you", Tara tried to reassure you
"It's okay", Sam continued
But even with both strenghts combined you were still sliping because the blood on their hands, even worse when Ethan was under you waving his knife at your feet
"Come here so we can play like we like to, Y/N", Ethan mocked
"Fucking psycho!", you yelled, "And I'm breaking up with you!"
"Fuck you! You guys are so fucked now"
Noticing how Quinn with her face all bloody and a few teeths gone was aproaching the three of you, Tara was quick to give a solution
"Sam, we have to let her go"
"No", Sam denied
"Sam, please", you pleaded understanding the plan, "It's the only way, please, let me go"
"We have to let her go"
Trusting in both of you and making sure you got your knife in your hand, Sam and Tara let go your hands to take care of Quinn
Falling to the first floor, you landed in front of Ethan who was quick to stab you in the stomach
"Gotcha!", Ethan smiled with pure evil
Taking advantage of his open mouth to return the stab in his throat leaving him surprised by that action, but still looking you in the eyes
"At least you won't die a virgin, my love", you said in a low voice twisting the knife, "By the way, this is the knife that killed your brother"
With that last sentence you pulled the knife feeling the blood combined with saliva splashed in your face and upper body from your psycho now ex boyfriend at the same time his body fell on the ground
Almost a few seconds later of your first kill, a gunshot along with screams sounded on the shrine, next to the scene of Sam and Wayne falling into a glass display
Thankfuly you and Tara managed to wake her up and make a plan to finish the situation
So while Sam will be using her father's robe and mask to kill him, you and Tara will be doing an old fashioned ghostface call from her phone
Fortunately, Wayne fell into the trap, ending in Sam stabing him multiple times, finishing him with a stab on the eye
After a jumpscare of Ethan which ended in Kirby trowing a TV in his head to kill him, Danny arriving with the police and the core five reunited and alive, hell was over

★ Lore (past) ★
Luella Faraway was born in Mesa, Arizona on November 28th. Her parents are Gabriel and Claudia Faraway. She has one older sister, Elke Faraway. For the majority of her time as a small child, she lived in a typical suburban neighborhood alongside her family.
Luella was attached to Elke’s hip since birth. Despite the considerable seven-year age gap between them, it was difficult to pry the two apart. In Luella’s eyes, Elke was the pinnacle of maturity.
Alas, this serendipity would come to an end when Luella was twelve years old. Her parents were abruptly killed in a freak car accident – which she happened to be in the backseat during. Luella thankfully emerged unscathed, with only some fractured ribs and a broken arm. But being grateful was the last thing on her mind.
The terror of that moment festered behind her eyes. Watching fire engulf the car, inhaling the thick metallic scent in the air, clutching her sides in agony. Above all, she felt as though she had no right to have continued on living when her parents hadn’t. She was afraid of living in a future where she didn’t have her mom and dad. Thus, she attached onto a different figure of comfort – her sister.
Despite the fact that Luella viewed her elder sister as her primary parental unit by this point, they both fell under the guardian ship of their aunt. When Luella was thirteen, she and her sister moved into their aunt’s condo on the coast of Sunset Bird, effectively leaving their old life in Mesa behind. By this point, Elke was twenty. And despite the fact that she’d cultivated plans to move across country for formal college education, she couldn’t fathom the idea of leaving her little sister behind to carry the weight of that past year on her shoulders alone. Their aunt took a backseat in Luella’s upbringing, as she was typically out of town on business escapades. Elke, likewise, opted to pick up a job in order to help pay for Luella’s schooling and therapy (whilst their aunt covered other living expenses).
During Luella’s first year living in Sunset Bird, she met a group of kids her age that would irrefutably have one of the greatest positive impacts on her life. Winona Cameron, Vérène Alcott, Cove Holden – and most importantly, Derek Suarez. Rambunctious as they were, Luella’s trepidatious nature seemed to fit right in among them. They were accommodating to a fault.
Luella was always rather meek, but after the accident, she seemed to shrink into herself more. She was more fidgety and bashful. At times, straight up avoidant of others. But this changed things. While Winona and Vérène would inevitably become her best friends, her relationship with Derek became its own matter. Luella wasn’t acquainted with this manner of feelings, but she was certain that her feelings towards Derek existed in a league of their own.
Cliché as it was, he elicited things from her that she rarely shared with others. He made her smile with all her teeth (which was especially rare after she got braces), often made her laugh with her whole chest, and would happily sit and listen to her talk about any miscellaneous topic. Most importantly, though, he tried to understand her.
Some days they would sit together under the heavy cloak of the night – just Derek and Luella – and watch the stars. Luella would share her worries, irrational or otherwise, while they both distractedly connected the abundance of freckles on Luella’s arms and legs like little constellations. It was free and easy. Her anxieties could whisk away on the back of the ocean breeze.
Not to mention his family and their consideration of her – they accepted her like she was one of their own. When she helped look after Jorge and Nico, she felt like she was an elder sibling for once. They provided that feeling of an average nuclear family. The feeling Luella longed for.
At the end of her first summer in Sunset Bird, Luella and Derek made the promise. The promise that if they didn’t already have partners at age twenty-three, they would simply marry each other! It seemed so simple, didn’t it?
As Derek busied, their interactions began to dwindle. Luella forced herself to focus on other things. More tangible things.
Those nights under the stars became more than simple outlets for outpouring her soul. It helped her realize her love for space itself. With those far-off accumulations of things so unthinkable… it was impossible for her to not become entranced. While Derek focused on his path, she forced herself to focus on hers. Soon enough, it was only her that sat beneath the moon.
By age eighteen, Luella was clinically diagnosed with anxiety and began learning more practical ways to manage her occasional disfunction.
In response to that, she begins to work on unpacking the inevitable trauma that came from being at the scene of her parents’ demise. She allows herself to unravel her internalized survivor’s guilt. And though she still struggles with it some nights, it’s a ghost of the burden that it once was. The years after she graduates from high school are good. At least, by the average standard. She enrolls in a college program for astronomy and astrophysics. She gets a place for herself, gets piercings according to her personal style, and visits her friends and family often. She tries to call Derek as much as possible, but it’s a sporadic schedule. They’re busy people now. She has all but given up on the possibility of having an established relationship with the Derek Suarez.
Her hope is rejuvenated by being invited to a reunion with the Suarez family. It’s the first time Derek and Luella have seen each other in years! And they’ve certainly changed. Yet, they’re still the same people at art. And by thirteen-year-old-Derek’s standards, fiancés.
They’re both avoidant of their feelings. The mere concept of offering her own feelings first makes Luella’s skin crawl. Derek is far more determined. While it takes an immense amount of reassurance and healing, Luella and Derek do confess to each other and officially begin dating as twenty-three-year-olds. Took them long enough, says Elke.
★ Lore (present/ongoing) ★
Nowadays, she and Derek coexist in his home apartment. Since Luella moved in, it has certainly taken on a different appeal — gone are the days of a bland living room and empty kitchen! Luella made sure of that.
Luella continues to attend school. Some days she leaves before Derek even wakes for the morning, but most of the time she likes to spend the early dawn light sprawled over her boyfriend’s chest.
On weekends, she’ll take a trip down to her sister’s newly opened vinyl store and keep her company whilst checking in.
Nightmares are frequent, but she has begun managing them better. Derek appears to have unlimited patience. He’s happy to provide her with all the company (or space) she needs. And every night they sit together on their balcony, looking at the stars, tracing constellations on Luella’s arms like they have all the time in the world.

★ Epilogue (Artist/Author's notes) ★
Hello everyone! Luella’s introduction post is FINALLLY DONE! The word document for her bio ended up being more than Tabby’s if I remember correctly.
Luella’s design has changed quite drastically since she was first conceptualized — for one thing, she was a brunette, not a redhead. Her sense of style was different. Her general facial features took some repetitive drawing to solidify.
I hope this wasn’t too general or dragging. I tried to avoid summarizing Derek’s epilogue because I didn’t want to rehash a plot that everyone already knows, but that might come back to bite me. Oh well.
Thank you for reading! Ilyyy

I think this is the last scream into the void before I have a post about myself. Part Five is about my siblings. Well, mostly my sister, the golden child.
I actually don't have much to say about my siblings. I love them, I sometimes want to kill them, and for the most part, we get along.
Even my half siblings, who I actually don't refer to as my half siblings but have only been doing so for the sake of making it easier to differentiate them here without using names. It wasn't always like that. I was jealous of them for getting the attention I wasn't, and I mostly ignored them, but sometime was cruel (not horribly cruel, but I wasn't nice.) Thankfully, I got over that before they were old enough to notice, and we get along really well.
I also have surprisingly few problems with my brother. You'd think my Dad's only son would get more privileges than anyone else, and sometimes it felt like it, but those privileges weren't favoritism. For example, I had my own room, and my brother and sister shared one. Eventually, my sister was moved into my room, which I hated. But I get it. Hell, I even know that it's a CPS offense to have a boy and girl sharing a room after a certain age. I wasn't happy, but I got it. And when my brother started getting the front seat of the Chevy S-10 and I was stuck in the back...well, he's 6'. He literally could not fit. Again, I get it, and the problem was eventually solved with new vehicles, but it still sucked. About the only problem I've truly had with my brother was when we had an apartment together and he had trouble taking turns doing dishes. I blame this on my Dad; my brother wasn't used to actually doing dishes because I was always doing them.
And then there's my sister.
She was four when my parents divorced. Because she'd had so little time with our mother, she seemed to adapt the easiest. Also, she was a Daddy's Girl, so she was fine because she had her favorite parent.
Unfortunately, because my Dad wanted to minimize her trauma, she was spoiled. She got the most presents, she got to do the most school activities, she didn't have to do chores until much, much later... When we had our Evil Step Monster, I think she handled it better because she didn't grow up being constantly yelled at, and wasn't afraid to be stubborn.
She never got grounded for standing up to That Woman.
And unfortunately, she still expects people to just do things for her, while not being so good about reciprocating. Things include:
One Christmas, she nagged and nagged and nagged at me to buy her a certain expensive present that she needed now, rather than wait until my next paycheck. She assured me she'd get me a present in return. She didn't.
She wouldn't let me in the bedroom when I was visiting from college. I had no bedroom in the house since they'd basically moved me out entirely when I went to stay on campus. Which meant that I was basically limited to the living room, kitchen, and bathroom during my home visits. I had no place to hide from That Woman.
When my sister got married, she called me to ask if I had money for 'the dress.' I had no clue WTF she was talking about, and when I asked, she said, "Well, you're gonna be a bridesmaid, you know." No, actually, I didn't. Because you didn't ask me.
Like my Dad, she expected me to drop everything and come watch her house and dogs whenever she and her husband went somewhere. She made it sound like she was the one doing me a favor by letting me watch Netflix. A couple of times, I was working somewhere an hour and a half drive's away. She still expected me to watch the dogs with zero compensation despite the long drive.
She completely ignores my issues. I mentioned once that was looking for a new job because I'd had an anxiety attack working retail. She immediately tried to get me to apply for a job that required me to sit at a desk and talk to people all day, a job that would cause major anxiety issues. When I told her no, she got annoyed because she was 'just trying to help.'
She's very protective of our Dad. From things she says, she seems to have this impression that I'm the spoiled one that got everything I ever wanted and whenever I asked for help, I was using him. Yeah, that's not how I remember it.
Her help is very conditional. Remember the fiasco with my brother's wedding? Where I didn't have a lot of cash, and she assured me she'd help, and even picked out a flight that fit her schedule for pick-up and drop-off. It was at an airport an hour away, rather than the much closer one I'd originally planned to fly into, and she was the only one who'd be able to get me. I doublechecked with her before buying the ticket. And then she started changing things on me, telling me she couldn't drive me to the wedding we were both going to, telling me she might not be able to drop me off at the airport, telling me that actually, no, I couldn't stay with her after all and I needed to find a hotel in three days or she definitely wouldn't pick me up and drop me off. This is why I canceled. Even my Dad was pissed at her for this.
She's also very controlling. Last year, I had been considering going to California for fun. My sister immediately said I should come visit instead. It would be cheaper! You know, spend my money to go back to the place I escaped from, where I didn't have fun. And I'd have to stay at a hotel. Preferably one with a pool, so she could bring her boys to swim! So this 'cheaper' vacation would have been me in a hotel in an area with very little to do, waiting for her to visit on her own time, probably renting a car because that would be the ONLY way to get anywhere. And even then, there's nothing in that area I haven't seen a million times, so leaving the hotel wouldn't even be worth it.
Ahem, anyway... Being far away from family is very good for me.

Statement of Anon (tw: Death & Depression)
Concerning their depressive self isolation.
Statement given Tuesday, July 11th, 2023
Transcript and editing by Tim Stoker, archival assistant at The Magnus Institute, London.
Statement begins...
I don’t remember a time I was scared of the dark, not really. Maybe one time but it’s been so long and I was so young that I don’t know why I was even scared. My older sister was definitely scared by it though. For quite a while, in fact...
We used to share a room, for basically the majority of our lives. At night she’d have her nightlight and the tv on, watching a dvd of one of her favourite shows. Since I was younger, I naturally disliked the shows (since that’s how siblings are sometimes) but I was mainly irritated by her having so much light and noise to sleep. I loved the complete silence and darkness of our room and almost needed it to sleep. Almost.
We eventually stopped sharing a room, mostly because we were getting older and needed our own privacy and space from each other. The last time we’d tried to have separate rooms, we’d been way younger and had missed each other a lot so we went back to sharing. I miss those days...
This time was different.
On a Monday at the beginning of June, my sister and I were sat down in the living room by our parents and told that our grandmother had died. She had been sick for a few months and had been admitted to the hospital about a month before. I didn’t know how to react. Our parents asked if we wanted the day off from school and we both agreed. I remember going out with Mum and my sister to get funeral clothes. It was the first funeral I’d been to in my life and currently the only one. I doubt it’ll be my last.
I still didn’t react. I didn’t even cry. I think I was in shock and it took a long time for me to process it. Sometime after the funeral, during summer holidays, I moved into my own room. It was smaller than the old one, the reasoning being that I never put my things away properly so there was less room for mess.
I guess my body processed what had happened faster than I did as I began subconsciously isolating myself, my brain eventually catching up. It happened at the worst time though, right as I was starting high school.
It might have been the stress and all the change that was going on that caused me to realize my gran was dead. I knew her my entire life as she and my grandpa lived in our house with us. She was there for everything and then, suddenly, she wasn’t and never would be again.
Then I truly began to isolate myself, mainly staying in my room, and I started keeping the curtains closed almost all the time to leave me in complete darkness. I liked it, the dark was comforting and I felt safe in it.
Over the next three or four years it stayed like that, me in complete darkness in my room. At some point I stopped isolating myself and made some friends in my year at school. I had a girlfriend for a bit too but we broke up and that led to me isolating again for a time.
Due to the extensive amount of time I spent in the dark, some changes started to take place. I grew paler, my hair darkened from light brown to dark brown, and I could see pretty clearly through the dark. I developed a sensitivity to light though and can barely go out on non-cloudy days without blinking in pain the whole time. Sunny days are the worst.
Then, 2020 happened and self isolation. I had joined Discord two years before and, when I saw a Tiktok of a Twitch streamer I checked them out, then joined their Discord server. I made friends and connected with people, feeling happier.
I eventually stopped being friends with those people as our friendship wasn’t truly healthy and naturally fell apart. Having friends that actually felt like friends helped though. I connected more with people in my year at school and, when I dropped out to go to uni, I connected quickly there too. Now I have friends on Discord where the relationships are healthy.
I’m happier now. I don’t have to rely on the darkness and isolation to feel comfort... Still, I sometimes keep my curtains shut.
Statement ends...
Not sure if this is really a supernatural event but if it helped them then I guess it works. Anon is possibly being monitored by the Lonely or the Dark but, as this is an anonymous statement, there’s no way we can do followup to see if they’re okay... I hope they are...

I genuinely feel like Housemate is doing strange, fucked-up things to Partner and I on purpose, but the extent to which I second-guess myself and go back-and-forth on it also sorta makes me feel like they are? It's just. So much.
From the beginning, sigh.
I met Partner in 2016, met Partner's best friend (hereafter "Tas," fake name, obvs) shortly thereafter. Tas is nonbinary, and I have always felt like they and their friend group put me in the "straight girl" mental box. They have always been standoffish and cold to me. I am also nonbinary, but I'm not superduper open about it? Like if we're friends, we've talked about my relationship to gender. And whenever I'm in a meet-n-greet circle that people are sharing their pronouns, I do say "they/she/he are all ok for me," (including Tas, because we've been in community organizing initiatives several times together) but hardly anyone ever uses anything other than "she" for me. I'm short and extremely busty and frequently wear dresses so I often think people -especially queer ppl, sadly- consider me to be a trendchasing "theyfab," and Tas's coldness to me has always indicated that to me, too.
Tas repeatedly hit on my sister and for literally two years straight the only time they initiated conversation with me was to ask if my sister got their texts. My sister told me she always responded to their texts and usually TAS was the one who didn't text HER back. My sister also never flirted back, because she doesn't like how Tas treats me.
Partner and I were openly polyamorous until the pandemic when we closed for health purposes. We were both dating other people when we met. Partner had a very brief relationship shortly after we started dating that went really badly. That person suddenly indicated they felt unsafe in their living situation and Partner drove more than 24 hours to pick them up and give them a safe landing spot. That person immediately freaked out whenever Partner even texted me. And did a lot of really weird passive-aggressive stuff to me whenever we saw each other. And was really controlling to Partner. Partner had just barely gotten them out of his apartment when Tas FREAKED THE FUCK OUT. And was like "I dated them so you should have known to check with me," and Partner was like...."you did? Oh...I dimly recollect like...years ago? Briefly?" and Tas was like "yeah, it was a few months and went badly and now you've broken my trust and will have to rebuild it. :| :|"
I thought this was bs but whatever, their friendship. They rebuilt it or whatever. but after that I cared a fuckload less about what Tas thought about me. But it was still stressful and upsetting that they were SO cold to me.
In 2020 I moved in with Partner and we locked down together. Until his apartment building was sold and the new owners DOUBLED HIS RENT with thirty days' notice. And then we were SOL because our city's cost of living was literally the highest in the country, adjusted for population, and vacancy was 0.2%. At the same time, Tas' house was sold and they were in basically the same boat. However. Tas and Partner both made enough and had just enough savings and parental help that they realized they could probably afford to buy a house together. And I was invited to live in the house, too, only I pay a little less because I'm not building equity as I'm not an owner. It was all very optimistic. Tas wanted to have a close, warm housemate relationship. We all planned game nights, shared dinners, shared grocery staples etc etc. We had multiple meetings about it and I was very optimistic about it all. Tas was more friendly and open to me during those few months than ever before or since.
We moved in and Tas immediately was standoffish and cold again, but not only to me, but also to Partner, their supposed best friend of over a decade. This hurt Partner tremendously. They would go to another room whenever either of us entered it, then text us random house things from the other room. They went back on all the dinners/game nights/etc we had agreed on. Partner and I extended invitations for MONTHS. It wore on Partner considerably, and me too. But Partner was losing his best friend with NO explanation.
Tas started texting Partner requests for "house meetings," except I wasn't invited. And then Tas would postpone the meetings with only a few hours' notice, or sometimes wouldn't show up, and then would postpone belatedly. And when the meetings did happen it would be like "I feel like the vibe is off in the house and it hurts me."
like wtf.
Partner would be like "Tas had a bad childhood and their parents basically waged psychological warfare on them and it's hard for them," and I'd be like….. "BABE YOU AND ME HAD THAT HAPPEN TOO." And Partner would be like "they had [medical thing] that caused a traumatic brain injury and their memory is really bad because of it…" and I'd be like "me and my five concussions and literal Post-Concussion Syndrome would like a word." He's just trying to find his peace, because it has been seriously hard on him. He's cried on me so many times about Tas since we moved in together. And there's really no justification for being a relentless asshole, imho.
Tas and I had a shared goal of transforming our lawn into a garden/natural plants pollinator space. Tas and I spent hours and hours working on this. Their back is objectively more fucked up than mine so I did more of the super-hard labor, but we both worked really hard on it. We talked about sharing the garden beds and what the division would look like….and then I came home and Tas had planted all the garden beds with the things they wanted and left me no room for anything.
Last year I decided to take a little corner of the yard that was only weeds and plant some sweetgrass. I checked with Tas multiple times they didn't want that corner for anything. I mentioned it multiple times. then I planted my sweetgrass with a little berm I built. And I mean it's LITTLE. If I made a circle with my arms, it would fit in that circle with my fingers touching.
A few weeks ago I went out and Tas had been clearing out the dead leaves/stems from the yard and garden and piled all the compost waste right on top of my sweetgrass patch. my tiny little patch that is only about 2 feet by 2 feet at most.
That hurt my feelings more than I thought possible. I was so so hurt. My only little patch of garden. I cleared it off, pulled some of the weeds I had left in to help enrich the soil, so it would look more tidy and visually distinct, and went and told Tas their compost pile had ended up on my sweetgrass so I had moved the compost over a little. Then I painted a bunch of rocks and ringed my sweetgrass space with the colorful rocks so it would be even more visually distinct and obvious.
I feel so defeated and sad. I don't know why Tas is being like this. I hate living here, and Partner and I both wish we had moved into a van or something instead.
We are nice to Tas. We still offer up game nights and dinners. We watch their special needs dog ALL THE TIME. Tas pays their friends to watch the dog when we can't, but never offers us a cent. Tas refuses to speak to us about almost anything. They insisted on a mask-inside and checking with housemates about guests rule in lockdown, then broke it immediately and never checked with us about any guests. The mutual friends we do have mostly started being even weirder and colder to me after we moved in together, and I genuinely think they're trashtalking me to our mutual acquaintaince group. I go out of my way to be friendly and ask about their plans and things, but they actively hide their plans from both of us. They will just suddenly be gone for 2-3 days, or have dinner parties, or out of town people over.
A few years ago they had a dinner party on Partner's birthday, with many of Partner's friends invited, and didn't tell Partner they were having people over or anything. It wasn't for Partner's bday, it was just a totally unrelated dinner party ON his bday, in his house, with his friends, that he wasn't invited to. It was so cruel I honestly have trouble believing my own memory that it happened.
They went on a long vacation and brought me a "present" for watching their dog. The worst and least-functional butter dish with no lid that I've ever seen and doesn't even sit flat. Oh, and it matches the utensil-rest they got themself??
They are always civil to my face, but I always always feel like they dislike me. It's exhausting. I wish we could move, but housing prices are still incredibly high, loan rates are terrible, and Partner feels trapped into this house ownership. We both wish we had done literally anything else in 2020 than moving in with Tas.
right this minute Partner is being yanked around by Tas with another house meeting. can't wait to find out what bad vibes are our fault, now.
#and there's so much more ugh#i don't know what to do i just want it to stop#woodsfae#rant#housemates

Went no contact with my aunt E, and her daughters N and C. My only regret is that I didn't get to beat their asses before I did.
Let me preface this by saying that I am not a person given to physical violence, hell in a lot of cases I'll bite my tongue to avoid a fight. But I have my fucking limits, and that day I reached mine.
So, yes. I did come close to kicking their teeth off because if there's one thing I don't tolerate is people talking shit about my mom when I know she's right. If the criticism is valid? Go ahead. Thing is, I know for a fact my aunt and her daughters are wrong.
This is a situation that has its roots in decades of unresolved issues. But it all came to a head when my cousin N decided she was going to introduce her boyfriend to the extended family. This, after she told multiple people that she didn't really have anything to share with us and that she didn't even want to wish our grandma a Happy New Year. Which is fine, there's been a lot less conflict since her, her mother and sister decided they were everyone's victims and the family wasn't catering to them as they felt entitle to. That's cool, but why the hypocrisy.
So, in the latest family function that took place my mom called my cousin to the side and called her out on her hypocritical behavior. My mother did not scream to her, and didn't start a scene. My cousin N, however, has always had a flair for the theatrics and immediately started screaming and shouting like a banshee. Came storming in saying she was leaving, that my mom had "disrespected" her, that she "knows herself, and she is leaving". She called my mother a flurry of colorful names, including "ungrateful". My sister and I heard, and we had enough. Let me just say they both were LUCKY my dad was there and bear hugged me, because her boyfriend would not only have had to pay for her plane ticket to Spain, he would have had to pay for a whole new set of teeth (or two).
Since that moment, I've gone no contact with them. Now, I am aware that none of that makes me look good. I am not interested in looking good, either. But if we're going to talk about ungrateful or bullying, I have so many instances where they're the ungrateful bullies.
For example, N had Hepatitis B. At the time, she was living rent free at our grandmother's house. If you hear her and her mother tell the story, everyone at my grandma's was going to let her die and no one gave a fuck. In their version, my grandma even said that she was most likely pregnant. However, the reality is that she wouldn't have even been tested for Hep B if one of my aunt's (who's a nurse) had not insisted and taken her to the hospital, she wouldn't have been admitted without that aunt, either. However, that aunt has a job that she couldn't miss and responsibilities. N's father has lived in that same town for years, he didn't go to see her even once during the whole ordeal. However, the bad ones are the ones that took her to hospital and did what they could.
Another example, E moved to that same town and stayed there for about 4 years after her daughter C had an "accident" that left her with a permanent leg injury. E did this to be able to take care of her daughter. Once C was recovered enough she moved into a smaller house where neither her mother nor sister fit in. So E and N had to rent an apartment. When 2020 rolled around, another one of my aunts went like "hey, we're in the middle of this pandemic thing. you guys should move in with me because you have no income" So they moved into this other aunt's house, lived there for almost 3 years rent free, not even had to buy their own food, no utilities. E, N and C however, claim no one ever helped them and E and N were basically homeless. Mind you this aunt that took them in even took over several major medical expenses from E.
One more example. E is a teen mom, had her oldest C, around the time she was 17/18yo. The only reason she was able to graduate high school was my mom. My mom at 14yo put up with abuse from her baby daddy's family to care of her fucking child. But this is, also, something that in their heads never happened. E, in fact, has spent almost 50 years trying to ingratiate herself with her baby daddy's family even though they mistreated her and her family. When she moved from the town, following them, they said "she doesn't need to learn anything. just send her to clean houses" Because they see cleaning houses as a lowly job, and they always have seen her as lowly and undeserving of respect.
This is just examples of their ungratefulness, this isn't even diving in their abuse and disrespect of multiple family members. Like, I have so many fucking more stories that don't even involve me or anything they've done to me especifically.

I kinda can't stop thinking about Noa finding out his older sister, meeting her children and being like happy and all
But then, by extension he meets Lucifer, which is fine and nice experience, BUT he also meets Belial, Lucilius and Beelzebub and all their drama because of that.
Unfortunately I don't remember more about Noa, I just know he is really pretty and has history with Rackam and yet I still wonder about that
Honestly, it can be both canon and youtuber au or something else
Noa is one of my fav chara and especially my fav from the Main Story plotline, i genuinely cry everytime he has content, so this was done For Me and For Me Specifically.
Honestly him being established to have been created by the same astral as Cosmos does fuck me up because from what we know of Noa, he was pretty much active during the Astral occupation. At the time he followed his duty very closely and he was made to push people to make ships, and so it translated to how he used to basically guard slaves and push them to work. Until Noa gained enough free will to realize just how fucked up the situation was, and gave the slaves a way to escape.
(we learn all of that in his Grand FE when we discovers that a group of ex-slave that had escaped got stranded in an island in the Grim Basin, and had since then created a whole religion around Noa, whom they call a firm God, who yet decided to save them all. Noa is greatly uncomfortable with all of that and tries to tell them to give up on the cult but Rackam joins in the convo to talk about all the good things Noa has brought and all. It's legit just 10mins of Rackam going "heres why Noa is amazing and you shouldn't *worship him* but if you're going to appreciate him appreciate him for who he is now rather than how his masters forced him to be at the time").
This is a huge part of why Noa keeps a low profile and doesn't meddle with humans much. He feels extremely guilty for his involvement in the Astral occupation, and now he only wants to inspire people without actually acting much on them.
Meeting Rackam changed a lot of things because Rackam immediately was taken with affection for Noa and promised him that they'll meet again and travel together and nothing could tear them apart, except he made this promise on "You're Forced To Keep All The Promises You Make Here By Magic" Island, so Noa got really affectionate with Rackam and especially want to stay by his side and support him in his dream to be a great Skyfarer, if only by making sure the Grandcypher will always be up to Rackam's standards.
If anything it tells us that Cosmos's creator, who created her at the time Lucilius's made the archangels, was also involved as a colonizer during the Astral occupation.
It's also interesting to think about that due to the fact that, by all account, Noa was up until now considered one of the first "War time Primals" who broke free from his purpose in order to carry on his own free will. now it raises the question, was he created thousands of years before and therefore it's why by the war he could break free? or would eventually his creator have affected the way he could eventually evolve from it? Would the fact Cosmos probably would have a specific relationship with him due to their shared creator means eventually she could have affected his desire to break free during the war, leading her to then meet up with Lucifer? Or is it the opposite, and Noa breaking free from his purpose because it was making him miserable, influenced Cosmos to join Lucifer after the war because she knew it was possible for the Primals to move on?
It also does bring a dynamic concerning their masters, that is different. Cosmos carried the will of the Astral who created her so much so she couldn't break free from her purpose until we "killed" her. but Noa did break free and did keep a low profile before his master even left the Skyrealm. They have a different implied relationship to the Astral who created them.
And while i don't have the details of the FE, Noa being the one who manages to influence everything in order to bring Cosmos back, this time to give her an opportunity to grow as herself away from the impulse of their Astral? feels poetic in a sense.
SO YEAH i actually feel strongly about that addition as a major Noa girly.
As to how it would influence canon or AUs, i need to think a little more about it, for now i'm gathering like, the canon infos we have and how to connect them before going into AU dynamic.
In the Youtuber AU i feel like it could eventually set Noa up as a little more distant to the core family because he's the one who rebelled hundred of years ago, and while he doesn't begrudge Cosmos for not breaking free, he can't exactly be here unless she is ready to move on as well. He's the runaway kid that probably had influence over Cosmos but mostly just had to break free and do his own thing.
Also in a modern AU i feel like Noa could work as a mechanic of some kind, especially specialized in boats, but anything can do.
But the whole thing about Noa is that he likes to keep a low profile, he doesn't want to be on the fullfront because he genuinely resents the time he was pushed to be the one giving orders. So i actually feel like Noa would not actually want to have a Youtube chanel of any kind.
I feel like he could appear in Rackam's videos once in a while though like, Rackam is doing some mechanic videos and Noa hangs out in the background, and he just smiles cryptically and doesn't specifically talk a lot, he keeps a low profile and all of that.
So for the audience it could be jarring when one day, after Cosmos and her family properly separated themselves from their creator, Noa appears quickly in one of the video. Maybe he comes to check in on Yuni, or make sure Cosmos is alright and stable. He doesn't want to stay too long, especially not in front of the camera.
But now people are just "who the FUCK is he". he's the local Youtube Cryptid.
As for how he would meet the rest of the wmtsb gang i don't know how to connect it all just yet. we'll get there. Eventually.
That's my take so far.
Anyway stan Noa.
#it was made just for me you don't understand i love Noa so much#ichareply#ichafantalks gbf#ichablogging wmtsb#lucyferros#wmtsbythc

Warning: All people places and things resembling any real people places or things are merely coincidence and are not to be taken as such.
My father came from a poor family. They only had my grandmother to raise them as his father abandoned them. My grandmother worked hard at keeping food on the plates of 7 children.
I was told by my father that even though they were poor he had a relatively decent life. He was on the football team in highschool and liked drawing. He enjoyed the company of his siblings but he was closest to my aunt and two of his brothers. Of course these three were the most down to earth of the siblings. One sibling was very into themselves and wanted everything their way and the others had their own issues.
My father loved working on vehicles and he loved watching sports. He specifically loved sports cars and motorcycles. And for sports he was mostly into football and nascar.
He married my mother the same year they had my sister. And then almost four years later they had me. And two years after that they had my brother. We too were poor my father worked at a factory and my mom was a stay at home mom doing her best to take care of us, getting the odd job here and there. We lived off food stamps and the free school lunch program.
My father was a decent father. He worked hard at his job and when he would come home he would hang around the house and watch television on the couch usually with his children fighting over who would cuddle with him next. On the weekends he would share snacks with us and in the summer he and our mother would take us swimming.
My father wasn't the best husband, leaving most of the raising of us to my mom along with the chores.
He did keep the house working well, fixing things all the time. He also made sure that our vehicles stayed on the road. He was a great mechanic. He was always working on vehicles.
When I was at the end of middle school he and my mom divorced. It was very hard on the three of us children and during that time we cried a lot. But in the long run it was one of the best things that could have happened. By that time their relationship had boiled down to them arguing every night and day. Basically traumatizing us. It was very difficult to witness and we couldn't get away from it in our bedroom because the walls were as thin as tissue paper.
When my mom moved us out we had a hard time. I was the biggest daddy's girl at the time so it crushed me. For about a year it took to finalize the divorce and custody hearings. But after everything was settled my mom got full custody and my father got us every other weekend, every Wednesday and every other holiday.
At the time I saw my mom as the villain. My father was so affected by the divorce he lost his job and had to find another one. And because he lost his job he had to move out of the apartment we all used to live in.
He did find another job though and another place to live.
I enjoyed spending weekends with my father. At first it was hard. The time never felt long enough and we always ended up crying at the end. Eventually the crying stopped but it didn't for a very long time.
When I became an adult I started dating a very abusive man and eventually moved in with him. My father, along with the rest of my friends and family tried to get me to break up with him but I was too stubborn. So as a last resort my father made sure to visit me almost every weekend because my abuser was scared of him. My father did that until his motorcycle accident that put him into a coma and ultimately killed him.
My father was not a perfect man and in fact he made a lot of mistakes and caused a good bit of harm. He made terrible mistakes that hurt him and his family. But he was a good person deep down inside. And he was my hero. He did his best to keep me safe. He made sure to take me to the hospital when I sliced my leg open in fourth grade. He carved pumpkins with us and took us to the park. He taught me how to think about how I did things. He helped me learn to ride my bike. He made me smile when I was upset. He hugged me every time I needed or wanted one. He taught me how to punch. He taught me how to throw a football.
I found myself so angry with him over the last year or two. I realized that he was a little more aggressive growing up. He would yell and spank our butts. He would tell us to stop crying or he would give us something to cry about (always an empty threat.) He was sexist and ableist and racist but he taught us not to be. At least he tried. He knew what he did was bad and he worked hard at teaching us not to be that way.
After his divorce with my mom he had done a lot of soul searching and by the time he died he continually asked for our forgiveness for how bad of a father he was. And to be honest not until the last couple years did I truly know what he meant. When I realized what he was apologizing for I got mad. And I stayed mad until very recently. I have realized he wasn't the best guy. He was flawed and he hurt us. But in the end he worked hard at fixing what he had done. He fought for the rest of his life to be the best person he could be. And I am positive by the time he died he was a good man.
I forgive him now. Now that I got all the anger out. Where when I was younger I chose to ignore his shortcomings. I now acknowledge them. I will for the rest of my life correct the negative messages left behind in me. But I'm okay with that. Especially because I am pretty certain he was the cycle breaker in his family. He worked hard to break the abuse cycle in his own family by keeping us away from them but he didn't know the extent of the damage that he still had to work through. He by far is the least toxic out of his immediate family growing up.
He worked hard at loving us and even though he failed in some areas he succeeded in many. And his undying support of my dreams and aspirations and his pride in me no matter how many times I failed was one of his biggest accomplishments.
Regards
TNL Barth

There were numerous times in high school that we lived in different towns/different parts of the same town and therefore didn't go to the same high school (in fact I think we only shared a school for like one quarter and then I moved to Oregon, and that was partway through junior year; she basically just got adopted by my friend group when I left)
When we did live in the same town and I wasn't grounded (which meant no phone use) we talked on the phone, like, constantly. We also spent the night at each other's houses all the time. (True story, during this period of time her mother was a functional alcoholic and I had no idea. She did, though--she just hid it from me. She told me years later.)
When I was grounded (for bad grades (this happened frequently)) we wrote letters. SO MANY LETTERS. We often wrote them during class. Most of them were incredibly boring to anyone else I'm sure, mostly day-to-day boring "why does my algebra teacher assign so much homework/my younger brother is annoying me" kinds of things.
We'd end the letters with LYLAS (love you like a sister).
(Neither of us had real sisters, only younger brothers.)
When I moved to Oregon right after I turned 16, obviously, we kept it up. We would also schedule phone calls and I would pay my parents back for the long-distance charges with allowance or babysitting money. (Remember when a dime a minute was cheap, in the mid-90's?)
I need you to understand that we both kept our collections of letters to each other. For years. But both of us lost them at some point due to varying factors. I remind myself that the text of the letters was quite boring, but I'm still upset about it.
There are parts of me and my life that nobody knows but her, and vice-versa. We both had undiagnosed ADHD and sometimes-depression and a shitty parent. We didn't talk about any of that at the time, but we were still there for each other.
We also talked about My So-Called Life, though I was far more obsessed than she was. (Seriously, y'all, I have always been Like This lol.)
When I told her I was bisexual (over IRC chat!) when I was 16 and in Oregon, she's the one who said "April. Everybody knows that." I have told that story so many times. But she's still literally the first person I ever came out to.
The year after I graduated high school she came to visit me for two weeks for my 18th birthday. That was 1997. Somewhere once upon a time my dad had a terrible grainy photo from one of the first digital cameras, of us hugging and crying in the airport.
A few years later she'd lost her job and was getting kicked out of her friend's house and called me in a panic, and I called my parents--I'd moved in with my then-boyfriend at the time, so I knew there was an empty room in their house. They said yes immediately, and that's how she ended up moving to Oregon.
We did live together in an apartment for a disastrous nine months. She was having really bad depression, and I was far more conflict-avoidant than I am now, which is saying something. She dated one of my friends, and then my middle brother. Eventually she moved to Austin, I forget why, but she met her husband there.
During the time we lived together, though; we used to walk to a nearby movie theater to see matinees for cheap, and that's how I ended up seeing The Two Towers in the theater like a dozen times.
I don't know. I feel like she's always had a bit of my soul just because of the time period when we were best friends. Even if we both changed a great deal after that, we were best friends for some of the most formative years of our lives. I remember her 14th birthday, and us joking about it because her birthday is exactly three months before mine and I was jealous she got to be 14 first.
When she was in a coma due to covid a few years ago, I went through a lot of this, but at that point there was at least a hope of her surviving (and she did!). But right now it sounds like her choices are "do nothing and be dead before Christmas" or "treat it aggressively and you might make it to next summer."
She's on the east coast and staying with friends because her mom's house was flooded in the hurricane, so I can't fly there. I should probably offer to at least video chat or something if she wants. I don't know.
The person who was my best friend that I met when I was 13, who was the reason I made it through my teen years in a lot of ways, and she even moved to Oregon to live with my family and then also dated and lived with one of my brothers for a few years, like, she’s known me the longest of anyone in my life other than immediate family
We haven’t been close since she moved from Oregon but we were still friendly, she called me when she got engaged and that was uhhh 2010? I wanna say?
She’s had some of the worst things happen to her in the last couple of years, including being in a coma due to Covid, her husband dying, and losing everything she owned in that last hurricane
And she found out she’s going to die of cancer within the next year, most likely
And I don’t know how to handle that information. Like. At all.

Abuse of Children Portrayed in Film
I like to use movies as an escape from the harshness of the real world and one of the things that I have learned about in my education is the effects on children when they are mistreated. I have a Masters Degree in Developmental Psychology and one of the hardest classes for me to handle was Abnormal Development in Children and Adolescents. We covered everything from dealing with dyslexia and ADHD to surviving severe abuse and loss at a very early age. We had guest speakers that ranged from people who had escaped genocide as children, to individuals who had been sold into prostitution by their parents, to people who had suffered severe abuse from their parents or guardian. I have heard stories that will stick with me forever and that is nightmare fuel that I don't want to share.
Because of my background education, I take note of the treatment and behavior of children and adolescents in the movies that I watch. There have been many great movies over the years that have depicted the suffering of children and it has always been difficult for me to deal with. There are more well known examples of films that focus on suffering but throw in more of a "sometimes we all suffer, even the children" message that demonstrate that kids aren't immune to great travesties (basically any film about The Holocaust). There are also well known films that show children "coming of age" through hardship (Annie 1982, Oliver! 1968) but end perfectly. There is a more current series of films that focuses entirely on a boy discovering a fantasy world that was robbed from him when his parents were murdered by a tyrant (Harry Potter series). But in this list I want to review some lesser known films that show examples of abuse. Even after all that I have seen and heard, the following list of films have affected me personally for one reason or another. Sometimes the children in these films endure and overcome their situation in the end. Sometimes these children do not survive or sadly remain in their misfortunes. To me, this can make the movie all the more powerful because of the incredible amount of pathos that endangering a child character can add. It can also make it a heart wrenching experience that is painful to watch. Here are some powerful films in which children suffer and the struggle is one of the main plot lines of the movie:
SPOILER WARNING AND VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISORY!!! I AM GOING TO GIVE AWAY THE PLOT TO THESE FILMS AND IT SHOULD GO WITHOUT SAYING THAT SOME OF THE PLOTS ARE DISTURBING!!! EITHER WATCH THE FILM IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS OR CHECK OUT THE FOLLOWING SUMMARIES IF YOU WOULD RATHER JUST HEAR WHAT HAPPENS SO YOU KNOW IF YOU WANT TO WATCH OR NOT!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sybil (TV Movie) 1976
I just recently saw this film after I had heard of the story in my abnormal development class almost 10 years ago. It is the story of a woman who developed multiple personalities to deal with a childhood in the care of an undiagnosed schizophrenic mother. The movie stars Sally Fields and is based on a true account of Shirley Ardell Mason and her treatment by psychologist Cornelia Wilbur. The acting in the film is overdramatic at times, but it definitely reminded me of some of the actual old videos of Shirley Mason and her sudden strange switches in personality when she was scared or anxious. Dr. Wilbur used hypnosis to actually introduce Mason to her alternate personalities and she was able to recognize her disassociative identity disorder and overcome it. It still hurts me to think that this person was mentally wounded so deeply by her parents that it basically shattered her into pieces in an effort to make sense of things.
Leon: The Professional 1994
I mention this film a lot because it is a heartwarming story of an assassin teaching a young orphan how to murder. It is the breakout role for Natalie Portman and it is just amazing. Leon is a "cleaner" that lives next door to an abusive and addictive family with a troubled girl named Mathilda. The father gets in trouble with the mob and some enforcers come by and slaughter most of the family while Mathilda is getting groceries. She returns during the massacre and realizes what is happening so continues next door and pleads for shelter. Leon takes her in and teachers her the trade and protects her from the men who want to finish her off. The movie was written and directed by Luc Besson and stars Jean Reno, Gary Oldman, and Natalie Portman. The suffering that this girl endures because of her parent's addictions hurts me, yet I have seen and enjoyed this film many times. I recommend watching when in the mood to be deeply affected by the trials of a little girl and the killer who protected her.
Kids 1995
This film came out when I was early in high school and bothered me greatly. It is a story by Harmony Korine, and one of his many attempts to capture the hopeless lives of unmotivated and unsupervised teens. These are young teens having unprotected sex, stealing money to do drugs, and attacking people in the park. I did not really go to these kinds of parties when I was that age (or ever really) and it has bothered me to think that adolescents would partake in this kind of behavior. It is hard for me to believe that these kids had the ability to mentally comprehend the consequences of their actions and some of the characters end up contracting HIV from each other. I would not recommend the film because it is a depressing day in the life that no youth should have.
Gummo 1997
I would not call this a good movie and I wouldn't really recommend it. It is another work by Harmony Korine and really details the depravity that can occur with unsupervised youths living in low socio-economic conditions. This movie is just depressing and motivated me to find something to motivate me into action. I got into both psychology and teaching, which has served me well for the past 20 years. It was this film that showed me how low the bar for quality of life could be, and I guess for that I am thankful. However, I still wouldn't recommend it.
Happiness 1998
This movie I didn't see right away but noticed it at the video store on many occasions. I final watched it when I was about 25 on the recommendation of a friend and one particular storyline greatly disturbed me. It is basically the story of 3 sisters that feel they should be happy and project a face of happiness, yet they are miserable and have horrible lives. One sister in particular is married to a psychiatrist who turns out to be a pedophile that rapes the friends of his young son. At one point rather early on in the movie, this man confesses to his son that he raped the boy's friends and that he would do it again. The son is so confused that he asks his father why he never raped him. It is so disturbing to me because I know the boys that were assaulted will be forever damaged and this boy who was not actually raped will be mentally scarred as well. The fact that there are people in the world that would harm children that way, recognize what they had done, and then know they didn't have the self control to stop themselves from doing it again is horrifying to me.
Lilya 4-Ever 2002
This film is deeply disturbing and I highly recommend never watching it. I will spoil it for you now so you never have to see it if you don't want. A 16-year-old girl named Lilya lives with her mother. The mom gets a boyfriend and the couple move to America and abandons Lilya with a neglectful aunt. The aunt movies into the old apartment of her sister and Lilya is forced to move out and become a prostitute to make money. A boy comes along and convinces her to move to Sweden to escape her life. When they arrive, this boy sells her to a pimp and she becomes a teenage sex slave. She almost escapes, but is then captured and beaten almost to death. She escapes again and this time commits suicide so she won't be recaptured. This movie is awful and changed my mind about giving every film a chance. I wish I could forget this film, but I can't. Perhaps it is just not for me, but this film presentation is definitely an experience that you won't soon forget.
The Kite Runner 2007
I read this book in my twenties and saw the film in my thirties and both affected me greatly. A well-to-do boy and his friend are in a kite battle competition and the friend is beaten and raped when he goes to retrieve a fallen kite. The well-to-do boy denies knowing what happened to his friend (he does know) and basically shames and abandons him. This action haunts the well-to-do boy for the rest of his life. How the boy who was raped is basically falling prey to blaming the victim is heartbreaking, and the lifetime of guilt of the other boy is pitiable. Neither boy was the actual attacker yet they both were the ones that suffered.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are many other examples of movies along these lines and could be found if you feel like suffering. I can't say that I would recommend them because they are very difficult to watch. Beyond just dealing with the content, it is rare to find child actors who can actually portray somebody who has truly suffered. The mix of bad acting and a depressing plot can make for a terrible movie going experience. The genre of movie involving suffering does exist, though, and it could be enjoyed (?) by some. Just not generally by me.

Dimitrescus x Maiden---- The End of Winter(s)
Requested here. (I don't always have time for requests but we all needed this one.)
First come the gunshots.
Then, a feeling of dread.
It is strange; You’ve had intruders enter the castle before, in the years you’ve been with the Dimitrescus. Some lasted seconds, others hours. There were one or two the daughters kept around for more than a day, just for the thrill of the chase.
It is not the first time you hear a gun go off in the estate. Your past also renders the sound familiar, nothing remarkable.
But.
You can’t shake off the nausea that accompanies it this time. Your chest constricts and your gut churns and you just know something has gone terribly wrong.
Your fears are confirmed when, minutes later, Bela stumbles in from the doorway, her usual grace and aura of certainty completely gone. She is shivering, shaking, chilled to the bone. The visible patches of her skin look grey and hardened into an almost diamond substance. Flies are breaking apart from her and falling, twitching, to the floor.
You immediately rush to her and she collapses forward in your embrace. Her chin knocks against your shoulder, cold as a block of ice.
“Bela, love, what happened?!” you ask, while leading her to the nearest fireplace. Of course, you know about their weakness.
But how does he?
She wraps her arms around your waist tight, almost too tight, like she’s on the verge of breaking apart –physically, mentally—and you’re the only anchor she’s got.
From the top of the staircase, you hear Alcina’s hurried steps. Another door snaps open in the far corner of the room and you see Cassandra materialize out of the swarm there, then rush over to you.
“I… I… This can’t be happening.” Bela whispers, gasping for breath.
You can only hold her more securely against you, running your fingers through her blonde hair. It seems to calm her somewhat. Both your ministrations and the warmth.
You and Alcina share a look of pure worry.
“I failed. Mother, I failed.” Bela practically sobs without facing the woman and your heart shatters into pieces. You’ve never seen her like this.
“Bela—” she tries to say, while Cassandra remains there like a statue, unable to process the scene.
“He shot the windows and now he knows.” Bela pulls slightly away from you to say. “That stupid man-thing has got Daniela!”
“I’m going. I’ll rip out his intestines and feed them to him.” Cassandra growls and it’s a dark, ominous sound.
Alcina grabs her arm before she can swarm off. “No. I won’t risk another one of you. I will deal with that vermin.” she says through clenched teeth. You can see the effort she puts into keeping her voice steady.
You want to reach for her, to comfort her, but Bela is in a worst state, battling her body’s reaction to the cold and her self-loathing for her failure, so you stay put.
“Stay with Eliza. Do not let him anywhere near her. I will get Daniela.” she orders her daughters, leaving them as your guards.
Cassandra walks over to you and takes your hand in hers, lacing your fingers together. With her free one, she rubs Bela’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry. I’ve wanted to kill Daniela several times over the last century so I can safely say it just doesn’t work.” even as she tries to lighten the mood, though, you can see how tempted she is to disobey Alcina and go after Winters. Her grip keeps clenching and unclenching. “He won’t come near you, darling.” she promises you.
But then… the thought strikes you. What if you go near him?
-
-
After you put Bela to sleep, you tell Cassandra to wait a while with her and that you’ll be back.
You will be back. Just not without Daniela.
The more you think about it, the more sense it makes for you to go. You are only human, yes, but that is precisely what can give you an edge in this. You do not have a fatal weakness to the cold. You move much faster than Alcina.
And although you’ve tried hard to grow beyond your past, you always knew you were no better than what it made you.
You’ve killed dozens who had done nothing to you during your time in the military’s special forces. Why would you not plant a bullet in the head of someone who dared to harm your new family?
Duke recognizes the look in your eye when you ask to see his collection of rifles. You pick one to your liking and test its weight in your grip. So much for promising never to touch a gun again.
You run through corridors and rooms before you hear his voice.
“Shut up, witch! I’m getting Rose back!” he shouts at Daniela, coped up in the library where there’s only one entrance. You press against the wall and carefully peek through. She gives a weak giggle, chained in front of an open window as she is.
God, she must be suffering.
Still, her eye rapidly flits to you. You motion for her to drop down. And then-
You turn into the room, rifle blazing, the first bullets driven into his head and the rest of the clip emptied in his torso. Blood splatters everywhere with every pull of the trigger and for the first time in your life you do feel something as you kill another person. Pure satisfaction.
You leap over the crimson pool that is swelling around Winters’ corpse to free Daniela, who is laughing even though she’s basically an icicle, at this point.
When you pull her away from the cold she collapses into you, much like Bela did, only she can’t move her limbs enough to cling to you.
“Daniela?!!” You hear Alcina’s voice wrecked with anguish. “I will slice you to bits, you filthy man-thing!” she nearly screams as she approaches the library.
“Go wild, dear. He won’t put up much of a fight.” you reply, a brief smirk curling your lip. Daniela burrows deeper into your warmth with a faint laugh. Alcina is equal parts confused and fuming when she ducks under the doorway—
And sees the body of Ethan Winters laying in a pool of his own blood. Her claws detract. She stalks over to his corpse…
Then crushes his head under her heel.
You wince at the gut-churning, crunching sound, holding Daniela tighter, but part of you is deeply relieved it’s finally over despite the brutality. Can’t take any chances.
You almost lost them. You lower your head to Daniela’s neck as silent tears start to flow from your eyes.
“Baby, I’m.. fine…” the redhead croaks out, nudging you with her head.
Alcina kneels down beside you, more exhausted than you’ve ever seen her. She gathers you both into a hug, resting her head on top of yours. You stay there a long time.
“My beautiful girl. My love.” she whispers to Daniela and you. She’s too proud to say most of the things she wants, but you can see them in her expression and the tightness of her throat regardless.
“…I’m hungry.” Daniela complains once feeling returns to her frozen form.
“When are you not?” you tease.
“We’d have that man’s flesh for dinner… but I would never feed my daughters something so disgusting.” Alcina says.
She picks Daniela up in her arms like a baby and you do not look at the bloody mess behind you.
-
-
After dinner, the Dimitrescus and you are all sitting in a couch in front of the fireplace, making light conversation and basking in each other’s presence.
Alcina is delicately sipping wine while you’re leaned against her, with Daniela practically in your lap. Cassandra is beside her and none too happy to not touch as much of you, though she is keeping your hand on her thigh possessively. Bela is curled like a cat at your legs, her cheek on your knee.
“Can you not hog her like you’re here by yourself?” Cassandra growls at Daniela, who doesn’t even think to budge.
“I’m the one who almost died. Piss off.” Daniela’s lips brush against your neck as she speaks.
“Daughters.” Alcina chastises.
“How long are you going to play the ‘I almost died’ card for?” Cassandra asks irritably.
“As long as it works~” Daniela kisses your jawline several times.
“Bela, are you still sulking?” Cassandra nudges her with her foot.
“Leave me alone...” the eldest sister huffs.
And the answer to that is a resounding yes.
You know it will take time to be completely over this. You know right now they all need you, in different ways.
Bela has to climb out of the self-blaming pit she’s dug herself in –she always is too rough on herself—and your touch grounds her.
Cassandra wants you to please her hard and long in bed to blow off the steam of the past day or she won’t be able to rest at all.
Daniela won’t show it but she was petrified and she’s still scared. She needs your attention, needs you to drown her in kisses, until it all goes away.
Alcina almost lost her girls to that man. She hasn’t recovered from the shock but you can see the bone-deep gratitude and the sheer love in her eyes whenever they lock with yours. Her girls will get you first, but when it’s her time with you…
Well.
She’ll thank you in so many ways.

So school... and other stuff
This is just a bit of a rant post, so you guys can just ignore this if you’re not in the mood to read my ramblings. Requests are gonna be open sometime later this week, but I’ll make a separate post about that when it’s time.
I took the exam or whatever to get to college about a month ago, and the results are here. I didn’t get in. The best backup spot I’m on is 32, so basically the whole class would have to cancel or take a spot at another school for me to get in and that’s not gonna happen. But on the bright side I got 8 more points than last time so if I can improve my score by that much the next time too, I’d be pretty much guaranteed to get in.
I’m not super depressed about it or anything, I just like to complain. It’s my own fault for not preparing enough and some of the choices I made in the exam itself. For right answers you get points, obviously. For wrong answer you get points deducted and if you choose to not answer you don’t get points but they aren’t deducted from your total either. So what I did is that I answered every question even when I wasn’t sure, and that probably cost me some points since I should’ve just chosen the “not answering” option. I hope to do better next time, and I’ll start studying earlier for the next time the exam comes around
My younger brother E has officially moved out of the apartment we used to share. His address was still here for the last year even though he didn’t live here, because his school requires him to have an address in his home town since he lives in the dorms during school. Now he’s working and he changed his address to our dad’s place. So now my other younger brother T has decided to sort of move in with me, or a very long time visit might be a better term. He’s gonna be here for most of the summer, but not all of it.
I’ve promised to babysit my little sister for some time next month, probably about a week or a bit more, depends how many relatives want to take her first. My bday is also coming up on July 12th, but I’m not really planning on doing anything special, maybe just to see a friend. I’m not big on alcohol or anything, and I can’t really even drink because of my anti-psychotic and anti-depressant medications.
It’s been so freaking hot here for the last four days, almost 30C everyday, and it’s supposed to continue for at least a week. I’m basically dying in this heat since I’m definitely not used to it. Working out is also a freaking nightmare, but I’ll manage, even though I feel like I’m melting all the time.
Thanks if you read :D

I'll Be There For You
For @star-spangled-bingo 2021
Pairing: None Cast Of Characters: Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers & Rogers Daughter!Reader Warnings: Mild swearing, bit of teenaged angst from Reader Words: 2399 Squares Filled: Dad/Daughter Dance Summary: Reader is Steve Rogers' twelve year old daughter who has been left in the care of her two "Uncles" Sam and Bucky. Reader confesses to Sam & Bucky that she feels like she plays second figure to "Captain America" on her dad's priority list. Her uncles do their best to assure her this isn't the case and of course Steve Rogers swoops in at the last minute to save the day.
You opened the window, closed your eyes and inhaled deeply. You didn’t care that the wind swirling around outside was causing small pools of water on the sill as fat droplets made their way in side. You didn’t care that the air was thick and the sky was a chalky grey. It was raining and you loved the rain. Rain was cleansing. Rain meant that old things were being washed away and new things would grow in their place. Rain was comforting.
The apartment you lived in with your father was the opposite. The building was old and every other floorboard seemed to creak or crack. The windows rattled and no matter how much the two of tried to keep things clean, there seemed to be a perpetual layer of dust that settled over everything. It was somehow stuff and drafty at the same time. You want to be outside where the rain was, not stuck inside with your two babysitters.
“[Y/N], what the hell are you doing?” Your Uncle Bucky demanded as he entered the living room. He pulled down the sash, effectively closing the window and keeping the beautiful rain scents out.
“Buck, you shouldn’t say hell to kids. You shouldn’t swear at kids. Steve would have a fit if he heard you.” Uncle Same chastised as he followed into the room.
“[Y/n]’s not a kid, she’s twelve. That’s practically thirteen. She’s basically a teenager.” Bucky pointed out. “Besides it’s not like hell is a gateway swear. You think if she hears me say hell then it’s a matter of time before she moves on to some real swear like…"
“I’m going to stop you right there.” Sam interrupted. “I don’t see a scenario where that sentence doesn’t end in a word Steve is comfortable with [Y/N] hearing.”
“Uncle Sam you do know that I’ve been around Tony Stark before, right?” You asked. “And believe it or not the Avenger who swears the most is Dr. Banner.”
“That still doesn’t mean your Uncle Bucky needs to help you pick up any bad habits.” Sam then noticed the water on the windowsill dripping down onto Steve’s hardwood floor. “Where did all that water come from?”
“Little Rogers had the window open.” Bucky nodded at you. “She had half her torso sticking out a fifth floor window.” He shook his head. “I’ll go get a towel.”
“Were you really hanging out the window?” Sam asked as Bucky stepped out into the hall. He knew Uncle Bucky had the tendency to overreact. Not that he could blame the guy, you were the only kid Bucky ever spent more than five minutes with.
“No.” You answered, but the truth was you couldn’t be certain. “I don’t know, maybe.” You added.
“YES!” Bucky shouted from the linen closet, still out of sight.
“You know that’s dangerous, don’t you [Y/N]?” Sam reminded you.
“Yeah, but…” You tried to defend yourself.
“Yeah but do you think Uncle Sam or I want to have to call your Dad and tell him that you fell out the window when we were supposed to be taking care of you?” Bucky handed you the towel and motioned for you to start moping up your mess.
“Weren’t you the one who was just saying I’m practically a teenager?” You sighed. You then mumbled to yourself, “Besides, maybe if I fell out of the window he’d actually pay attention to me.” Sam and Bucky exchanged a look of confusion behind your back.
“What do you mean by that?” Sam probed. He wasn’t accusatory. His tone was soft, he waited for you to answer.
“He’s not here right now is he?” You tossed the sopping towel in your hands to the ground and turned to face them. “Lots of kids have parents who go away for work so I know I’m not that special okay? But I can’t help but wish he was home more. Even when he’s not away on missions he’s still in his office taking calls or filing reports or zoom meetings! It sucks!” You threw yourself down into a nearby armchair. You ignored the smirk from Bucky and the incredulous look from Sam as you swore. “Even when he tries to do things with me…Like last week, he wanted to take me out for ice cream. We didn’t even make it a block from the apartment before he was getting hounded for photos and autographs. I love my dad, but I hate Captain America.”
Sam and Bucky exchange another look. This time both their expressions seemed to say, “What do we do now?”
“It’s okay, you can say it.” You sighed, looking down at your feet rather than at either of them.
“Say what, Kid?” Bucky used the most affectionate nickname he could muster and he sat beside you on the couch.
“That it’s a really selfish thing to say and that Captain America does a lot of good and sharing dad with the Greater Good is a sacrifice I should be happy to make. You can’t think any worse of me then I already do.” You assured them, still not daring to make eye contact with either one of them.
“I don’t think that at all.” Bucky told you. You certainly weren’t expect that. You looked over at him. “I hate Captain America too sometimes.”
“You do?” You felt your eyebrows knit together. Uncle Bucky had been your dad’s best friend practically their entire lives.
“Of course. Steve Rogers is my best friend.” Bucky said. “But Steve Rogers is a skinny little thing who’s allergic to everything under the sun, and couldn’t fight his way out of a paper bag.” His description brought forward in your mind pictures you’d seen of you dad before the serum. Seeimg him like that always made you giggle. “Now Captain America, He’s a big beefy guy, he likes running and motocyles, thinks he’s so cool.” Bucky wrinkled his face in disgust. “You know what helps me, on my days when I’m really ticked off at Captain America?”
“What?” You inched a little closer to Bucky as if he were whispering a secret.
“I have to remind myself that some days, your dad hates Captain America too.” You opened your mouth to disagree, but Sam jumped in. He sat on the other end of the couch, joining the conversation.
“Remember that story you were telling us during dinner, that one friend you have…?” Sam reminded you.
“Jennifer.” You supplied.
“Right.” Sam nodded. “Remember how you said Jennifer’s mom told her that drawing is a waste of time so now even though Jennifer really loves to paint and draw she doesn’t bring her projects home from art class any more? This is kind of like that.”
“Riiight.” Bucky agreed unsure if your friend’s interest in art was the same as the point he was trying to make, but he’d give Wilson an A for effort.
“It’s the same thing.” Sam insisted. “Jennifer is comfortable sharing her art work with you, because she knows you support her. There are thinks your dad with share with us that Captain America might not share with the world.”
“Right.” Bucky nodded enthusiastically this time. “Like that magazine that published an Apple Pie recipe last month as ‘Captain America’s Signature Apple Pie.’ You and I both know your dad’s never made an apple pie in his life. He doesn’t even like apple pie that much.” You smiled again remembering the rant Uncle Bucky had gone on when he saw the magazine in the grocery store.
“You said your cat could probably make a better pie that dad.” You reminded him.
“And I still think that.” Buck assured you. “Our point, [Y/N], is that it’s okay to not be okay all of the time. It’s okay to feel like your dad and Captain America are two different people sometimes. But you have to talk about you are feeling. You have to tell your dad, Uncle Sam, me or someone else , because if you don’t you’re never going to feel better about it.”
“I mean I guess I feel a little better already.” You shrugged. “But I’m afraid to bother any one with my stuff. You guys are busy. Let me guess this is the part where you both say you’re never too busy for me?” You rolled your eyes. “Dad says that all the time, but he’s on a mission and not at the father daughter dance with me tonight. I’m sorry about the window.” You said getting to your feet. You picked up the towel from where you’d discarded it earlier.
“Father daughter dance?” Bucky mouthed to Sam behind your back. Sam shrugged in response. “Fix it!” Bucky replied.
“How?” Sam mouthed back. It was Bucky’s turn to shrug.
“I think I got most of the water.” You said, facing them again. “I’ll throw this thing in the hamper and then I think I’ll call it a night. Thanks for listening to me b-complain for a bit.” You decided not to chance swearing again in front of Uncle Sam.
“Bed?” Bucky jumped to his feet. “It’s not even five yet.” He glanced at his watch to confirm. “We should do something…”
“That’s fine, I think I just want to be alone for now. I’m sure dad will still be gone tomorrow. We can do something then.” You and your dripping wet towel started to make your way towards your bedroom.
“[Y/N], wait.” Sam also got to his feet. “Maybe Uncle Bucky and I could take you to your father daughter dance. I know it’s not the same because we’re not your dad, but other kids probably go with uncles or…”
“Jennifer’s moms are both taking her.” You smirked. “And I am the only one of my friends who wasn’t going. It could be fun.”
“What time’s the dance start?” Bucky asked. “Seven? Eight?”
“Seven, but I don’t have anything to wear. Everyone else was planning on dressing up.” You pointed out.
“If we leave now, I’m sure we can still find you something nice.” Sam suggested. “Maybe we can find a salon to do your hair.” He remembered how much his sister used to love getting her hair done special for dances when they were younger.
“What about the rain?” You bit your lip. You could tell they were really trying to make this work.
“You were about to climb out that window before I got in the room.” Bucky laughed. “I didn’t think a little rain would slow you down.”
“Okay.” You agreed. “Okay. Father-Daughter-Uncle Dance it is.”
“I’ll get my car keys. You put your shoes on and get a jacket. Last thing I need is you getting sick.” Sam instructed.
Two and a half hours later, Sam parked his car in the parking lot of your school. The dance was being held in the gymnasium. Miraculously, he had found a hair salon that was still open and willing to style your hair for the event. Apparently, a lot of parents in the neighborhood were taking their kids for cuts or styles in preparation of the big event. While you were in the salon, Bucky darted in and out of shops trying to find the right dress. He was on video chat with you or Sam the entire time and eventually the three of you settled on a pale pink dress with layers and layers of tule for the skirt. It had a shimmering silk sash that Uncle Bucky had tied into a perfect pink bow and the sleeves were flowy but not heavy. You felt like a princess.
“We’re late.” You frowned. “Do you think that matters?”
“Haven’t you ever been fashionably late before?” Bucky asked, opening the car door for you. He held a large umbrella in his hands so that neither of you would get wet. You noticed the rain had slowed down considerably since earlier.
Bucky and Sam had done their best to look put together for you. Uncle Bucky borrowed a pair of your dad’s old khaki pants and a charcoal grey button up shirt he hardly ever wore. You didn’t know where he’d found suspenders, but suspected they were your fathers too. Uncle Sam went for a more casual look wearing his cleanest pair of jeans and a maroon polo. When you entered the school gym, your homeroom teacher Mr. Jenson was selling and collecting tickets.
“Ah, [Y/N] Rogers. Who are your escorts this evening?” He asked while Sam paid for the tickets.
“These are my two Uncles.” You introduced them.
“It’s a pleasure to meet both of you.” Mr. Jenson smiled. “Enjoy the dance.”
For the most part you did. There were all sorts of desserts available. Bucky helped you taste test every single one before you both agreed the chocolate cupcakes were the best. You felt a sense of pride when one of the boys in your class tried asking Sam about his Falcon costume and he explained he was at the dance on official Uncle business. They’d have to save the Falcon talk for another time. You introduced them to all of your friends and told everyone how amazing it was that they’d put everything together so last minute for you. Both Sam and Bucky took turns making sure you got in as many dances as possible. What had started as a boring afternoon had turned into a pretty good night.
“I think I’m ready for bed.” You yawned as you sat down next to Sam. The night had begun to wind down and you were getting tired.
“One more dance and then we’ll head up.” Bucky told you.
“Uncle Bucky I don’t know if I’ve got one more dance in me.” You yawned again.
“Too tired to dance with your old man even?” A familiar voice asked from behind you. You pivoted in your seat to see your dad standing behind you. He was dressed in his best suit, your favorite navy blue one, and held a bouquet of wildflowers in one hand.
“Dad!” You jumped to your feet and hugged him.
“You didn’t think I’d miss the chance to dance with my best girl, did ya?” You Dad asked. You took the flowers he offer you and placed them on the table between Sam and Bucky.
“Thank you.” You whispered to both of them before following your dad out to the dance floor.
