#dredge game #spoilers. technically lol #my friend mim (at mimzalot on twitch etc) streamed dredge at it went the FUnniest way it couldve #two streams in we made a joke abt the collector and the fisherman being in toxic old man yaoi #divorcee-on-widower situationship together. and the joke kept up Literally Until The Very End #iykyk #could not have stumbled into a better way to keep the surprise #and The Best Thing Is. I do still think the yaoi is meaningful to the text #like mim brought up how resurrection is inherently a selfish act. #something is very obviously different about these two compared to my normal images on this blog. i acknowledge this #also the sv model is Really good. and since they always stare straight at the camera anyway… and no one pays attention to the background…#and the only high-quality phantump model i could find was so horribly shiny that its eyes were just white voids #in my defense‚ phantump always just stare straight at you in game #the lighting is different‚ yeah. that's probably the dead giveaway. beyond the background. but like. i'm the only being on the planet who #really likes phantump anyway. i feel like it's a generally forgettable pokémon to most folks #phantump #HELLO this one is a weird one. i have some explaining to do. so when i did this one i didn't know how to edit models really at all #and when i got the models for these‚ the xy models were super shiny. shiny to the point that it made their eyes fuckin invisible #and i decided that since you could barely tell it was phantump‚ i needed a different way to get these images #i remembered that in the SV dlc‚ every time you find a wild phantump‚ it just fucking. stares. at you. and i was like. aha #i kinda remembered because of the test stream that i did. tumblr user alligayytorr (am i getting the right amount of Ys) said #“haha i am getting a sneak peek” when i zoomed the camera in on a phantump. and i remembered that. and i was like. i can utilize this #and ended up using just an in-game screenshot of SV in replacement of the regular content. later on‚ after that #once we got into gen 7 and it became less and less reliable to find models‚ i had to learn how to edit them manually to remove the shine #i am a software dev. not a 3d modeler. this ended up coming down to editing the code of the models directly (which i ended up writing a #script to automate). now‚ today‚ january 22nd (the day of me writing these tags and updating this post)‚ i remembered this post was in the #queue and was not normal. so i went back‚ ran the script on the phantump and trevenant models‚ and unshinified them #then edited these two posts to be normal. i have left the original pictures i took under the cut for reference and as bonuses #because i really enjoy phantump. so that's why those images are there‚ and that's why these tags are here #just for posterity's sake‚ the folks who come here mostly for my commentary‚ i've left the ORIGINAL tags of the post when i initially #made it with the SV pictures up at the top (i wanted to rearrange them‚ but tumblr makes that Very difficult‚ so i left them as-is)#so if these tags are confusing to read i Apologize. but i hope now that you're at the bottom you understand what happened #i'm gonna go edit the trevenant post now

#i saw this hours ago but i came across this tweet again #and it made me think about how i learned how to not put people i stan on insane pedestals #bc when they made bad decisions or something very ignorant #i would get insanely disappointed and sad abt it for a very long time #not that i don't think even if you have a healthy view abt people you stan #you can't be disappointed but #i feel like when you do this actively and you think your faves can't do no wrong #and then they do it's very different #what i've observed for the past few months is that #some people might not even realize they are doing this #and i feel like on twt it's so bad #especially with the whole 'you have to stream or you are bad fan' time of mentality #that it ended up creating this environment of having to do #everything for these idols no matter what #some people are so against boycotts bc of this #and have a very unhealthy relationship with stanning culture #and i say this from a very personal experience but #my view on stanning groups change drastically the moment i started to be on tumblr full time #and i remember the exact moment where i thought wow i've been #doing it wrong this whole time and that's why i was so miserable #i will not go into details bc this is getting long #but i do intent to do an extended essay (sorta kinda) about this soon #bc i feel like it's something that we need to sincerely discuss #and how awful it is to perpetuate these behaviors #tris.txt

even though my interest with nijisanji has been on and off for years pomu has always been my kamioshi, despite the big timezone difference thus me rarely catching her streams. her leaving definitely hurts as so many of my other favorite livers have left nijien as well, but pomu hits different </3 and she definitely proves herself to be my kamioshi because she's now also the first vtuber/youtuber/streamer in general whose merch i've bought

#pomu rainpuff #bought the big plushie because that <3 stream just made me so emotional #ik shes still around for a few weeks but still. for me shes always been there #even when i havent had time to watch even the vods #nijisanji en #ive seen ppl speculate that we might see her soon in another company #as some other nijien livers have done so i hope i get to see pomu again #even if the name she'll wear isnt pomu. but were all pomu in the end.

#lots of things went wrong today while enjoying the beauty of Gillette castle and thinking of gifting the area of Lyme sparked brake issues #in our GOOD vehicle and my bf lost his glasses (he was wearing sunglasses most of the day so somehow lost his specs in the meantime..)#luckily made the boat and we calmly handled these situations instead of freaking out #watched an energy battle on my ferry ride home and these are the pictures I took getting off the ferry near the parking lot #hoping to restore some of the habitat here near my new apartments where it’s been abused by contractors for years…#but the jetstream like vortex washing away all the direct aim for the sunset was beautiful to watch #here’s a perfect example of Dor trails and orgone energy channels / streams / vortexes #clear skies now #sunset #stars :3 #I #clouds #summer #sighhh long summer days are ending #saw about 10 planes traverse the same flight platters for the duration of the ferry btw…traveling between clouds and trying to linger #so that’s about every 5 minutes since the ferry ride is 45 min??

Finished Signalis the other night onstream, and it absolutely destroyed me once again. As it always does.

I'm so happy that I could share and evolve my thoughts and feelings and love as I did this playthrough on twitch. You can even see the moment it broke me in real time 🥪

Signalis is ridiculously good, it quickly became a very important game to me when I played it shortly after launch in October 2022. The game began as a retro throwback to games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill 2, influenced by Ghost in the Shell and Evangelion, and slowly had that shorthand take on its own mutations of its environments and themes that bloom and take on meanings of their own, twisting images and ideas supplanted hours ago and keeping you guessing. The story becomes clearer as the environment corrupts, and it's up to you to save the mystery and solve the girl.

Signalis is a beautiful piece of art. It's also gay as hell. Go play it if you haven't. And don't cry until the end!

I can't stand the tension! I miss Unicorn: Warriors Eternal so much! I just need to know if it's coming back or not! If it's getting another season (or three like Genndy hoped for), then that's freaking awesome! If it's getting Zaslav'd before it can ever address that cliffhanger, then that's the biggest disgrace to happen in this industry in about a month or two (maybe idk). But just let ne know already!
