Just a little fun question, but what would be Kaida's reaction to movie Jay? XD And Movie Jay's reaction zu Kaida (I bet he fears that she bites 🤣) And does Kaida even have a movie counterpart?

(I might do a one shot of Movie Jay falling into the Administration someday)

I'm of the opinion that showjay and moviejay are like two opposite people (it's actually pretty interesting if the movie counterparts have a lot of opposite traits to ninjas because they grew up differently), one is a scaredy dog but is actually not impulsive and the other is like a wild cat that if he's having a bad time he'll make everyone else have a bad time.

So, yk, Kaida would be pretty shocked at this introverted version of Jay that can barely say two words but also after that she would just try to make jokes to get Movie Jay to open up and talk more. And also she wouldn't let go the fact that she and movie Jay are almost the same height.

And Movie Jay's obviously scared of this feral child and his adult counterpart who says that she's his daughter because it's a lot to process and he thinks they're both crazy at first.

I can't think of much for the movie Kaida counterpart. I know she and Jay probably wouldn't have the father-daughter relationship they have in the LP since I imagine them being only a couple of years apart (and I say this because in tlnm all the ninjas are the same age), so if anything they would have an older brother-younger sister relationship. She's probably still an orphan but with a relatively calmer and normal life, maybe she starts freshman year at the same high school where the others are and there she meets them. idk I have to think about this, I'm open to suggestions because I'm drawing a blank since it's been a long time since I saw the movie.

#I get the feeling that among other things moviejay is like that because he went to school and got bullied a lot until he met the others.#so that's why he's so shy and introverted #whereas showjay was probably homeschooled after deciding to stop going to school for those same reasons.#and his personality is basically him not having interacted with other people his age aside from the two older people who are overly support #and trying to stand out all the time #ninjago jay #jay ninjago #kaida walker #ninjago #ninjago dragons rising #tlnm #jay walker #the lego ninjago movie

#i think those ai chaeracter rps are goofy as hell #i've played around with them a few times to see what it was all about. they play up the personalization too much it's not THAT customizable #i tried feeding it some sans lines back when i was doing the rp to see if the machine was capable of identifying his speaking style #since i'd essentially done the same thing just manually. i wanted to see how good it could get it #huge disappointment as predicted #i WILL give character.ai one thing though. hilariously not for its characters. there's this one tool called brainstorming that's super hand #you throw ideas/concepts at it & it throws back clarifying questions based on what you sent in. like playing tennis against a wall #essentially a dynamic version of those writing tip lists like what's the significance of this event for x. what conflict arises etc #optimally this is stuff you do with a friend. and truly nothing beats brainstorming with another writer. honest.#but if you're fully throwing spaghetti at the wall in the roughest stages of an idea it's a quick way to cycle through some basic what-ifs #pretty fun toy all things considered. but it stops being useful the moment things start shaping up forreal #answered asks

You know, I think my favorite thing about Gale's whole "watching you in battle makes me horny" scene is like. He's not wrong. A brush with danger does in fact increase one's desire for "other forms of stimulation". Studies have shown that being in situations that cause a rush of adrenaline, be that going on a roller coaster, seeing a scary movie, walking across a swinging suspension bridge, or something else, increase feelings of attraction. It's literally a Known Thing that adventurous stuff is great to do on a date because it will most likely make you more into each other.
