george rexstrew deserves awards for many things but i have to say. edwin’s bloodcurdling scream as niko gets killed deserves a whole award unto itself. like. that scream did not feel at all like a tv show scream. to a somewhat jarring degree. and i can’t express how much I respect that

#he has a number of very convincing screams and suffering noises which I imagine was an important prerequisite for the role #but this one is just especially chilling and again. jarring. not saying that the other actors are bad or anything but no one even comes #close to competing with george and its stark in moments like this #another screaming moment that I thought he did really well in particular is far easier to gloss over and that’s #when he and charles are escaping hell and he almost gets dragged down into lust #when he’s screaming out for charles he borderline SCREECHES #throughout that arc in general it’s just incredible but yeah #I think part of what makes it so convincing is that he isn’t afraid to be high pitched and genuinely Scream rather than yell #like. he is clearly immune to being put off by ‘you scream like a girl’ rhetoric #I think a lot of male actors avoid screaming and screeching like that for that internalized reason when. if you wanna be as realistic as #possible. a scream is high pitched. if you’re scared for your fucking life it’s just involuntary #I can also see it being uncommon due to difficulties getting that sound adequately recorded but yeah anyway you get my point #tldr: george rexstrew is great at disturbingly realistic screaming and I applaud him for that #I really hope he didn’t have to retake that part too many times..#his poor throat……….#george rexstrew #edwin #edwin payne #dead boy detectives #dead boy detectives spoilers

Actually all gravity falls shipping wars in back when the show was airing were hilarious. i once saw two ppl arguing abt wether pinecest or stancest was better like guys i think its better if we just throw both of you into the bottomless pit forever

#mabcifica wasn't mainstream until like 2019 which left dipcifica raining supreme on the pacifica front #but the billdips and dipcificas were ALWAYS at eachothers throats #oh yeah and wendip too of course. it was just this trifecta of fighting #and everyone would be screaming and throwing chairs and shit snd then someone in the back would go 'i ship stan and goldie :)'#and for just a moment the fighting would stop bc everyone agreed that was endgame..... and then the candips would show up #like candips never did anything to anyone but bc they liked roadside attraction in 2016 they were actually hellspawn to everyone #candips were caught in the crossfire of rage. shoutout to all the 2016 candip shippers you deserved better #i know i saw mabill stuff a couple times but it had absolutely no impact on anything. net 0 change #like i said in that last post once the finale aired everyone kinda just. stopped fighting bc there was So Much Happening #there's a real life bill statue somewhere out there we can't be wasting our time here #but i think actually maybe blubsland going canon killed it all too. like we all agreed that was a huge win for everyone #we all put aside our differences for just a moment to applaud The Gay Cops #'they were disneys first gay couple' WRONG goat and a pig #all this to say shipping wars are dumb and if someone's being gross just kill them or something idk #you don't have to make a whole big thing outta it just block them and move on fighting isn't worth it #it is funny in hindsight tho. and if fiddauthors wanna start a war with billfords i'll be watching from the sidelines with popcorn #sassy speaks #gf

Why do I keep seeing videos on tiktok of ‘fans’ straight up ignoring Changbin, even when Felix or somebody asks them to clap for him (which shouldn’t be a thing that needs to happen at all imo)?

Like I am the furthest thing from a violent person, BUT that shit makes my blood boil. Even if he’s not your favorite have some fucking human decency and give the man the appreciation he has earned and deserves.

Stop just liking posts. Yeah, some posts get a like because you wanna save them. Some are getting only a vote because you want to find them again but don't want them on your blog.

But for the love of this website, stop doing that to my fandom posts. I'd prefer people not reacting to my posts at all over going to my notes and seeing two or three utterly useless likes and no reblogs. If it were one person, fine. But no, every damn time I post anything fandom related two or three random people find it via the tag within the first hour, leave a like and that's it. Nobody else finds these posts. This is not Instagram. Likes do not mean "great post" here. Leave me alone with those useless hearts if you're not gonna reblog afterwards.

Okay, not tagging this due to the state of the Dracula fandom on tumblr these days (a lot of you are apparently not even reading the actual book anymore tbh), but there's a popular post going around right now that's like, omg before I read Dracula for DD, I never would have guessed I would find these things in the novel, did you know that x, y, and z are actually in the book??, and like, two out of three are wrong lol

No, vampires in the book do not all have iridescent brown eyes that look red in certain lighting? No vampires are described as having brown eyes? One of them even explicitly has blue eyes?

No, there isn't actually a cowboy in the book bc Quincey is NEVER described as one and canonically is just a rich, most likely white American? Run a search for 'cowboy' on the text and the word won't come up, and also, I remember someone on here getting hate mail from the fandom for correctly pointing out that he's never called a cowboy.

Actually, for that matter, the post goes three for three with wrong information bc the post also includes a photograph of purple garlic flowers when the ones in the book are explicitly white.

#yeah this fandom is tiring at this point #you get applauded for misinformation that pushes the right fandom buttons #and screamed at and even run out of the fandom for stating correct facts
