I feel like Steve wouldn’t be that into smoking, and even if he wanted to he’d end up babysitting everyone who was high bc yknow forever a mother.

but but but imagine he has a crush on reader who is very big stoner vibes, but he’s been too nervous to make a move. they’re at a get together with the older kids and maybe some randoms. they go outside with Eddie a few others to smoke, and for the first time ever Steve ends up opening the sliding door and asking to join.

He sits next to reader and takes a hit and suddenly he’s back to his king Steve bullshit. He’s brazen with his stares, his compliments and little touches. Everyone is too high to notice, except reader who has no idea how to respond. Something about not only seeing Steve going back to his cocky, brazen self, but to do it all while holding a joint between his fingers, does it for me personally.

like it’s a little bit pathetic when he comes out and coughs his head off and refuses water when everyone knows he needs it. and he still sort of chastises everyone because you’re smoking too much, you’re gonna get sick!

but he kind of forgot how awesome being high is. he hasn’t smoked since senior year of high school and he’s almost wondering why he stopped.

and, actually, his old high school self comes out when he smokes. ten minutes after his last hit he’s walking like he owns the world, cracking witty jokes, winking at you like you’re sharing a secret. you’re taken aback, not used to a laid back, suave steve.

he sits side by side with you, his thigh pressing against yours. he’s hot. always runs hot. he’s making you hot, the joint back in his hands as it rotates around the coffee table. he’s telling a story, animated, chuckling. ashes the joint and holds it out to you.

“take a big hit for me, huh?”

steve holds the damn thing while you inhale, staring at him with wide eyes. he disappears in a cloud of smoke when you exhale, and it’s like it’s only you and him. there’s a sidebar conversation happening over something steve said and no one notices when he winks at you.

and he passes it past you to the next person, casual again while you sit reeling. your heart beats quick and you wonder if he can feel it or hear it. if he knows how worked up he just got you.

“you okay?” he asks, leaning over to speak softly into your ear.

“yeah.” it’s unconvincing.

he puts a hand on your thigh as if to comfort you. “too big?”

your eyes widen. “huh?”

“the hit,” he grins. “too big for you?”

you stare because you don’t know how to answer. really dumbstruck over him. you didn’t even know he could be this way.

“you’re really pretty, you know.” steve squeezes your thigh, makes sure to drag his fingers inward and up swiftly before pulling away. “look so pretty with your lips wrapped around that.”

he nods towards the joint that’s been stalling in eddie’s hands for about three minutes now, while everyone listens to him tell the story about how he spent three days in jail.

you still don’t know what to say, suddenly feeling too high - dizzy, a little in love. “thank you.”

he tilts his head, furrows his brows, a gleam in his eyes giving away his lack of sincerity. “makes me wonder what else your lips look good wrapped around.”

“harrington! what’s the name of that jackass football player that bought the blow from me?”

steve turns to answer him, like he didn’t just make your thighs clench. you take a deep breath and run your hand through your hair, looking around the room to see if anyone else noticed. they didn’t, of course.

but he’s back, casual again while he puts his arm around you. makes it look like he’s just getting comfortable. you can smell him - the cologne, the hairspray, the weed, his sandalwood deodorant. it’s all encompassing, comforting, makes you salivate for more.

you turn to look at him, catching his little smirk.

steve looks back at you, so fondly, his soft eyes red.

���what?” he asks.

“steve.”

his fingers find the strap of your bra under your shirt. he rubs over it. “somethin’ wrong? y’got somethin’ to tell me?”

you feel hypnotized by his eyes. “‘n-no.”

he talks softly to you. “you need somethin’, then? you feeling okay? need me to take care of you?”

you freeze, thinking for a long moment before nodding. because he looks to damn good with his hooded eyes and a shirt that might rip if he exerts his muscles to much. it’s precisely what you’d like to see, in fact. need to see those strong biceps, need to see them straining while he holds himself up over you. need him to take care of you like he always does when he’s sober.

“think you should go lay down.” his nose almost touches yours. “be right up to make you feel better, ‘kay?”

and you’re running up to the guest bedroom within seconds.

the aquamarine au

Info about au below (or at least what i have so far)

-based on the 2006 move Aquamarine, a teen romcom about two teenage girls meeting a mermaid and helping her find love to achieve their wish of one of them not moving away (its my childhood). this au takes basic plot ideas from the movie but with major changes

Jimmy and Joel are both 17. Jimmy's family owns a small, local beach resort where he also lives. Joel lives next door and they're basically attached at the hip and spend all their time at the resort. It's tense between them because Joel is moving far away by the end of the summer.

Scar is 19. He's been working at the beach as a lifeguard since he was in high school. Local sweetheart, everybody loves him. Seems like he sucks at his job, but nothing wrong ever really happens on his shift. Known flrt.

Grian is an unknown age but closer to Scar than Jimmy and Joel. I'm still working out his part. He's a mermaid who ran away from home. The Watchers are a group who protect mermaid pods but have very strict rules and archaic views; such as there is no such thing as love and have arranged a marriage for Grian he doesn't want (The Watchers in this au are less Mega Evil and more Parents Who Don't Understand and Kind Of Suck). He runs away to prove love exists. In doing so, getting into a major fight with his sister.

Grian gets caught in a storm and washes up into the pool of the beach resort, where Jimmy and Joel find him. They are SUPER cautious at first, but immediately offer to help him find true love when Grian tells them that helping a mermaid grants them a wish. They're hoping to use the wish to make it so Joel's family doesn't move away.

Grian is a bit oblivious to the human world, but even more so to the concept of love, because it is not common in the mer world. This leads Grian to believe anyone can love you with a bat of an eyelash, which leads him to try to woo the first interesting person who catches his eyes; aka Scar. When it doesn't immediately work, he's actually quite pissed off and thinks its Scar's fault for not falling in love with him. Jimmy and Joel proceed to make a plan to match the two together because Scar is so nice and probably the only person willing to give this weird and off putting mermaid a chance.

Unlike the movie, which takes place over a couple days, this au takes place over the course of a month or two, so there is even more chemistry between the cast. Hijinks and cringey romcom shenanigans ensue.

The ending is very different from the movie (im still thinking about it i dont have a lot for this au please go watch Aquamarine tho its my childhood and i love it)

uhhhhh IDK WHO IS GOOD FOR A CECILLIA CHARACTER. ok in the movie theres a character named cecillia shes the typical mean girl trying to stop the main characters from getting together. i wanna put someone in this role bc shes iconic and has funny moments im inspired by but im having a hard time thinking of someone who fits the role. any ideas for this or any thoughts at all are welcome, this au is for fun!!!

This is a very sentimental piece that I recently drew of Armand, specifically from a couple chapters of the fanfic-in the deafening polar province called You. Please read it first if you don’t want to be spoiled bc I’m about to talk about spoilers.

Spoilers free TLDR: Armand’s trauma being this shapeless thing over his heart, that is fragmented due to his broken memories, is a well of pain that seems endless, and so all he can do is claw at his skin.

GOOOOOD I really love this fanfic. I feel that the author really understands Armand’s character and his relationship with Daniel and they expand these concepts in such a beautiful way. And the first couple chapters that summarize Armand’s POV of the 2 weeks in Dubai, are done so well where I can really feel how Armand is comfortable in his relationship with Louis but isn’t really happy and how in his mind he can’t really comprehend why he does what he does but really only knows how to act in the moment when his security is jeopardized. So of course he runs after Louis when the truth is revealed because Louis is his safety blanket, and without it Armand knows he’ll be alone again. That feeling is also what pushes him to tell Daniel about their past, stringing along enough information so Daniel keeps him around for a couple days once they’re back in New York. But then you have that chapter where Armand realizes that his relationship with Louis turned into comfortable complacency and that he never stopped loving Daniel and then a hint of subconscious, self sabotage because he really let Daniel reveal the truth without realizing it. AND THEN YOU GET THE FLASHBACKS. it’s my personal belief that we get the flashbacks as Armand himself is remembering/thinking about them since it’s his POV, like I think every flashback is done not only so its in sync with the plot beats but also because its Armand’s line of thinking.

Returning the memories to Daniel; heartbreaking, their last time having sex; heartbreaking, their first time having sex since; heartbreaking, “what we both want, we get”; heartbreaking, Daniel once again asking to be turned; heartbreaking, Armand trying to dissuade Daniel from vampirism by having him kill a guy and drink his blood via Armand straw; INSANE but heartbreaking, Daniel pinching and poking Armand until he agrees to turn Daniel; so funny and real but heartbreaking.

Then we get to the last 10 chapters and the whole time I felt as though there were a thorn in my heart and I was on the verge of tears the whole time. If these previous chapters were heartbreaking then these last chapters are DEVASTATING.

“I need you to keep it together”; DEVASTATING, “take it all and punish me for this”; DEVASTATING, Armand seeing Daniel’s gold eyes for the first time; DEVASTATING, Armand needing to be in pain for their first time as maker and fledgling; DEVASTATING,

And I quote:

“Five hundred years, Armand’s heart has beat the same lonely rhythm. Five hundred years, and every moment has been captive to the pounding, pulsing need. To the question that has forever gone unanswered. Do you love do you love me do you love me?”

“You can feel it now.” Daniel murmurs, irises nearly clear, pupils blown wide like two yawning holes Armand wants to fall into. “How much I love you.”

Daniel’s heart beats and beats and beats.

And yes, Armand can feel it. Daniel inside him, his heart and its steady I do I do I do, so certain that not even Armand’s own can find a way to doubt it.”

So DEVASTATING that I’m crying, screaming, and throwing up. This chapter is one of the two that inspired me to draw something from the concepts and themes that arose with these characters. The other chapter that inspired the composition of the drawing is only a few chapters later in chapter 23, the moment is too long to quote fully but to put it simply, after Armand has a nightmare where he relives his trauma(btw as someone who has trauma dreams, this was written really well and realistic to how trauma works in dreams) Daniel wakes him up and he slowly realizes that in his sleep, he clawed at his chest, directly above his heart, subconsciously trying to rip it out. When I tell you, I had to look at the ceiling for many hours after chapter 23. And then I spent a week trying to draw it, I scrapped so many sketches because it was so important for me to get right. What’s crazy is that I felt as though the fanfic was not the same after chapter 23 either, like in the following chapters until the epilogue, there’s this weird melancholy in Armand’s narrative, and then in the chapter where they temporarily split, Armand directly calls it a “bomb” that hasn’t detonated yet. Like Daniel is simultaneously a reprieve from Armand’s self-loathing and now the source of it. Everything, everything, everything in this fic is exactly what I want from Devil’s Minion, past and current. The gentle violence, the violent intimacy, the bond before the blood bond, before the vampire bond, the constant draw to one another, the push and pull, the unspoken parallels; young Daniel being similar to Arun, old Daniel being similar to Amedeo, old Daniel with returned memories being something new but getting closer to being Armand’s equal, then vampire Daniel not only being Armand’s equal but being ONE with him, of course with the help of the vampire bond, where Daniel feels Armand’s feelings before Armand can even recognize them. And any time one of them puts their hand over the others heart it makes me just want to roll around on the floor or sink to the bottom of a pool, I really need that to be canon at some point.

New feeling - Choi Seung Hyun/T.O.P x reader

Summary: After winning a dance competition, a certain BigBang member scouts you to be their chorographer, leading you and Seung Hyun to experience new feelings for the both of you

You weren’t the put yourself out there type, always keeping to yourself, doing what made you happy and just going with the flow. You had a somewhat big competition tonight, for some it was just money, but for you? You were trying to get your name out there without having to put yourself out there. Growing up you were always in and out of dance classes, being kicked out repeatedly as you’d never follow the taught choreography or you’d take it upon yourself to teach everybody in your class new choreography for competition. Once you turned eighteen though you stopped with competition groups and started to branch out on your own, instead always making it a point to work on your own dancing or teaching others, you couldn’t help it, with how your mind processed things you felt like nobody could execute the choreography properly with you whenever you did it.

You were actually having a lot of fun, passing each section of the dance competition with ease, you felt like you weren’t even doing practice, just dancing for fun at this point as you approached the top two. You walked off stage, taking a moment as the announcer spoke about the competition’s sponsors, etc, etc, you didn’t care, you were more concerned about the cold water you were downing like you hadn’t had a drink in months. Unknown to you Dae-Sung watched rather closely as you walked off the stage, trying to get any idea of how you were personality wise before coming to you with his offer, but as he watched you kneel down hugging your niece tightly before taking a picture he had his mind decided. He was going to ask you to help with BigBang’s choreography, after the last choreographer quit because of how many hours were required of them, they were desperate for a new one, YG sending each boy out to different competitions to try and spot somebody to help them.

Walking back onto the stage you fixed your jacket, waiting for the music to start smiling with glee as you heard one of your favorite songs, turn it up, it was a song you had heard as a teenager and immediately found a vibe with, it actually being the first song you ever choreographed a dance to, so you went back to your roots, following each move like you had just did it the other day. As the song ended you noticed the announcer holding his left hand in the air, your side, you had actually pulled off winning. Now the proud owner of a thousand dollars and a year free pass to a dance studio in town you walked off the stage, happily walking towards the doors to leave, stopping whenever you felt a hand brush against your shoulder. “Excuse me?..miss?” You heard as you turned around, smiling as you saw a young man not much older than you, his hair perfectly styled over his eyes “my name is Dae-Sung, I watched you throughout the competition, you were amazing!” He smiled offering his hand out to shake yours “thank you, Dae-Sung! My name is Y/n, do I know you from somewhere you look so familiar?” You asked tilting your head, you could’ve sworn you’ve seen his face and heard his name before “Oh! My apologies! I’m a somewhat famous k-pop star, anyways! We’ve been looking for a new choreographer for my group, and I was wondering if you’d want to stop by and check everything out? See if you’d be interested?” He offered, you smiled sweetly before nodding your head “okay..yea that sounds nice! Just, message me a time and place” you smiled softly handing him your number “I’m so sorry but I do have to leave, my sister and niece are outside waiting” you smiled softly before bowing slightly “it was nice to meet you” you added before you rushed outside smiling excitedly at your niece as you cheered something about free ice cream for life.

It would be two weeks of Dae-Sung telling his friends all about you and your work before they actually met you, YG wanting to make sure he approved before the boys ever met you. Whenever you walked into the giant dance studio you were in awe, who the fuck were these people? As you walked further in you took notice to the one man you recognized, before it all hit you, of course, Dae-Sung with a famous group in K-pop? How did you not realize? You tried to keep yourself calm as you shook everybody’s hands “Hi..everybody..I'm Y/n, I guess...I'm your new choreographer for a bit as a trial period, uhm...One thing about me is I take my job seriously, because it's not just a job, it's a passion I've had since I was a kid, so if you can't keep up with what I have, then you know where the boss's office is" You explained looking at the boys and back up dancers trying to show a stern serious front, but your nervousness showed through as you started showing the boys where their marks would be and how they needed to stand. Groaning loudly you marched over to Seung Hyun, eyeing him closely "Why won't you just do what I ask?" You asked almost like it was a challenge, everytime the beat would start Seung Hyun would do his own thing, minimizing your chorography to almost nothing.

The boys found it amusing the way Seung Hyun would purposely do things to frustrate you throughout your first few weeks of being their chorographer, either minimizing your hard work, or not paying attention, or making his own moves instead of doing what was planned. That was your guys' dynamic though, Seung Hyun was the only one who could get on your nerves without you kicking him out of the room for the night, you had a rule though, if he ever did get kicked out, just like everybody else you had a three strike rule, three kick outs and you went to management to have something done about it. Walking into the studio you sighed, you had choreographed half a tour so far and with each show that passed you were getting more and more upset, as you'd watch the show from your spot with the stage manager and lights operator, you couldn't help but notice the awkwardness between Seung Hyun and any dancer you paired him with, you understood and tried your best to work around his issue with touching people and vice versa, but there were some things you needed him to do, and it just wasn't working. So walking into the next rehearsal you eyes immediately found the two people your eyes were stuck on the previous night "Seung Hyun! Se-Yun! What was that last night? Everything you two did last night was wrong, Am I just here for no reason? Like if you're not going to do what I'm putting my time and hard work into showing you, why am I here?" You asked harshly, you weren't meaning to come off so harsh, but between management, your own struggles with it, and the fact it's happened three times now, you were growing really pissed off. The others watched you in shock, never had they watched you go off this badly "I-I can't! Either you go or I will" You stated turning your back as you sunk your hands in your hair hearing the door shut and footsteps, you turned around, noticing the back up dancer rushing out, and Seung Hyun making his way to the door "You better stop" You warned "You are not allowed to leave" You added on watching him move back his spot nervously "Sorry..Sorry everybody...I just, Like I told you, I am very passionate about my work, and like I said, if you guys can't or won't follow my choreography then I shouldn't be here trying to get you guys to" You explained, sitting down to hold your head in your hands for a moment in frustration trying to calm yourself down, not noticing the boys slowly approaching you "Y/n?.." You heard Seung Hyun's voice whispered, his hands resting gently on your shoulder, you weren't sure why he'd have an issue with the backup dancers that would come in, but never have an issue with touching you or you touching him, it was odd to you.

"I'm okay, just..go..wait on your marks, please" You whispered, Seung Hyun couldn't ignore the exhaustion in your voice, it had only been three weeks since you started but you and him had clicked, while you didn't speak too much to each other, The other members of the band couldn't deny that you both worked well together, constantly teasing the other, anytime you needed a show certain dance move you were always quick to pick Seung Hyun to use as a partner. Standing up you sighed before your phone buzzed "Damnit!" You groaned reading the text "and now we're down a dancer" You added on, taking a deep breath before looking at everybody "I'm sorry everybody but I'm just going to call it" You huffed dropping your arm in defeat "Wait! Wait, what if you just do it, you know all the dances anyways" Dae-Sung offered smiling, having more than enough confidence that you could do it and kick ass. "It'd have to be cleared by Yg, and if Seung Hyun ended up messing up choreography, I'd probably kill him on stage" You explained pinching the bridge of your nose as you sighed "Do you guys really want to do this tonight?" You asked warily, looking up to meet with all four boys looking at you hopefully "We do, we like working with you, y/n, you're awesome" Dae-sung frowned, giving you a tight hug before squeezing your arms gently as he pulled away "So?" He asked hopefully, you just let out a dramatic sigh before nodding "Go get on your marks, Seung Hyun...I will fill in for a dancer until we find another, as long Yg approves, and you agree that you'll actually follow the chorography" You explained moving to stand with the other back up dancers, nodding at your assistant, she quickly pressed play on the music, as the bass to Zutter blared from the speakers you bounced your hips to the beat, watching the boys move around perfectly as they mimicked their verses. As Ji-Yong started his verse they walked closer to the line of the back-up dancers, you glanced over watching the other dancer, Ju-Mi step forward with you, the boys taking your hands pulling you both forward.

As it approached the one part where Seung Hyun always fucked up you held your breath, closing your eyes tightly in anticipation as you felt his hand on your back, bending you at the hips before he bounced his leg doing their signature 'Zutter' Chorography, your hips pressed against his as you slid down to sit in a squat in front of him, spreading your legs slightly as you felt Seung Hyun's hands slide under your jaw, turning it up to face him with the beat before spinning around you to continue his chorography, You popped back up, hoping to god the back up dancers were all on the right mark as the song came to an end "Holy shit! Why can't you do that every night, Seung Hyun!?" you gasped in shock, Seung Hyun just blushed shrugging his shoulders "Is a break down all it takes?" You joked, Seung Hyun's face quickly showed a look of concern as he grabbed your hands "No! Don't! That was terrifying" He protested, you just shook your head laughing before looking at the others "Everybody take five before we do...Knock out and Tonight, then girls you are free to leave, then I'll bring our back up boys in for the rest of your guys' songs, got it?" You said loudly to the group standing around the room "Seung Hyun? Could you possibly give up your five to go over some moves with me? I feel like I could find something better that fits your style" You offered, catching his hand as he walked past "Oh!, yea...yea, just let me grab a drink" He smiled softly disappearing over to his bag searching for his water bottle.

"So I was thinking, I understand some things I've heard about you..nothing bad..but I know you aren't that fond of physical touch that often, so I was trying to think of something less...intimate than Ju-Mi and I's little bend" You explained, Seung Hyun nodded as he took a drink, listening to you closely as you spoke "Any ideas?" You asked, placing your hands on your hips pursing your lips as you nodded along to the song in your head trying to think of something that would match well. "Maybe something like Bae Bae?" He offered before placing his drink down, trying to find a way to mimic what move he was talking about, just looking awkward doing it on his own "Seung Hyun, just show me" You huffed, grabbing his hand placing it around your waist, you looked up in the mirror in front of you both "Okay....play it" You stated waiting for your assistant to get the certain part of the song ready before Seung Hyun started bouncing his leg with the beat, instead of having you bend he just pulled you closer with his arm around your waist, using his free hand for his chorography "Okay that works, but where's your microphone?" You asked, motioning to his arm with your eyes "Easy, You'll hold it, Ju-Mi could do the same" He shrugged, you nodded, taking it into thought before nodding "I think you just helped me choreograph this dance, Mr. Choi" You teased before turning around smiling, excited to see it actually come to life on stage.

As you stood on stage, the music for 'Fxxk it' started to play, you followed your choreography as you watched the boys, making sure they weren't having issues, now you weren't strict on everything being followed, it's just certain moves or sections you spend a lot of time on, you're strict about, or about things Yg wanted done. As Seung Hyun started his verse the boys moved around, interacting with fans before making their way to their paired dancers, you slowly made your way to Seung Hyun, smiling as you watched him turn around, actually following your chorography as he grabbed your hand, spinning you around before matching the boys' movements of wrapping his free arm around your waist as he swayed you both back and forth singing the chorus. As the beat picked up, the boys slowly moved away from their dancers going back to their marks to finish the song.

Whenever 'Bae Bae' played you realized what exactly you had gotten yourself into, as Ji-Yong and Dae-Sung sang the first verses, Seung Hyun and Tae-Yang were tasked with dancing with a paired dancer, holding you close by your hips as he rested his head in the curve of your neck, looking up to the camera as he swayed, moving around you smoothly as his verse started. You moved to your mark following the rest of your chorography before noticing Seung Hyun making his way to you, you shot him a warning glare, knowing he was going off of his chorography for the first time that night. You watched as he placed the girls' hands together before pulling you all over to the boys, that's whenever you noticed what he was doing exactly, going back to the music video chorography for the ending verse.

You'd be lying if you said you weren't having a ton of fun preforming on the stage, getting to preform at that level was something you had never experienced before and it was thrilling for you. As you swapped out with the boy back-up dancers you smiled at the girls "That was fucking amazing, even whenever thrown into improved chorography that we've never done together you guys were still right on point" You smiled, nodding at them in dismissal before making your way back to your usual spot with the stage manager, watching the rest of the boys' performances.

As you all filed back into the studio you yawned loudly "Alright guys, that was amazing, I know you're all probably exhausted after it though, so go to your rooms, take a well needed rest before you're back here okay?" You explained before going over to your small desk in the corner, sitting down to start prepping next show's chorography despite your exhausted state. "Are you not leaving?" You heard after a moment, Seung Hyun stood by the door watching you expectantly "Wha..? No, no I have work to do" You explained, resting your chin in your hand as you looked over your written down ideas, trying to determine the best one to try first. "Then I guess we both have work to do" He said shrugging as he made his way over to you, kneeling in front of your desk before folding his arms on it resting his chin on them as he looked at your notes. "Seung Hyun! These are secret!" You hissed in embarrassed, knowing it wasn't just ideas wrote down, it was thoughts as well. "Have Seung Hyun kneel for girlfriend to BU dancer while singing, he'd be hot?" Seung Hyun questioned feeling his cheeks heat up "Ooo what else do you have in there?" He asked leaning up before you snatched them away "Okay! I'll let you help, but, you're not to read anything" You demanded, before motioning him to stand in front of the mirror.

You both spent all night in the studio, trying out different combinations of moves together, finding what fit best for each boy of the group, whenever you finally did finish you both were too worn out to move, all of your limbs feeling like they were full of sand or concrete from exhaustion, resulting in you both just sitting down against the wall, resting your head on his shoulder while he rested his head on yours "Seung Hyun?..Why are you okay with dancing with me, but not any of the back up dancers that are brought in?" You asked softly, spinning the rings on his fingers around "I don't know..I like whenever you do it" He admitted quietly, hoping you wouldn't hear him "Why?.." You asked again, this time turning to face him "This entire time I've worked with you, Seung Hyun, you never wanted to follow anything that involved getting overly physical with the dancers, but as soon as I step in, you're jumping to work with me and volunteering to help after shows, why?" You asked, genuinely curious on what made you so different for him, all you did was boss him and his friends around and occasionally yell at them. Seung Hyun didn't see it like that though, he saw you as always making sure him and the others were always doing their best and looking their best, supporting them through every show, and encouraging them whenever they were unmotivated, not to mention how cute you looked following along to their chorography slightly from the stage manager and light booth. "I don't..know..You're just different, You make me feel things, I haven't ever felt before" He explained, his hand slowly moving to take yours in his "I always find myself watching you whenever you're showing us dances, and thinking about how beautiful it is that someone could love and be so passionate about something" He explained softly before starting to speak again "I like you, Y/n...I like being in rehearsals with you, I like watching you focus and the way you get angry with me whenever I do something unplanned, or the way you laugh at me trying to make you smile" He rambled, your face was hot with a blush as he continued, you never expected him to feel this way, you expected models or another K-pop idol, someone who has value and worth behind their name, not because of their name, just because of how famous the boys all were, not their fucking chorographer.

"Seung Hyun" You stopped him sternly, he quickly looked at you and you could see the anxiety fill his eyes, you took his hand gently before sighing "If we go anywhere..we're both risking our jobs, mine more than yours, and I need this" You explained, it killed you trying to turn him down, but he just shook his head "No we won't, if they try to fire you I'll fight for your job" He explained, cupping your cheeks "That or I'm sure you could teach a different group? O-Or we could keep it lowkey" He rambled, you cupped his cheek in an attempt to stop him "Seung Hyun.." You whispered, it was charming how much he was willing to do just for a chance to see where things went with you, and the fact the entire time you saw him as a 'class clown' always desperate to make the others laugh, but instead it was all for you. "If you think...truly..we'll be okay.." You whispered, taking a deep breath as he leaned closer to you, his lips ghosting over yours "I promise you" He whispered, you just brought him closer closing the distance between you as you kissed him, Seung Hyun was quick to return the action, kissing you back deeply as he brought his hands up to cup your cheeks. As you moved your lips against his you felt something in your body you had never felt, sure you had a handful of relationships growing up, high school, your twenties, but nobody had made you feel like this whenever you kissed them. Seung Hyun gave you the feeling of wanting to jump around squealing as he kissed you, a warm fuzzy feeling washing over you as he slowly pulled away "So we're doing this?.." He asked softly, trying to catch his breath the best he could as he spoke "If you want" You replied sweetly, you weren't the only one who got a new feeling though, hearing your voice and smile Seung Hyun felt more flustered than he had ever felt before, it was like all of the world's beauty was formed into one person and they were sitting right in front of him with an adorable smile and blush as you spoke to him. You two weren't sure of the future of your relationship, you weren't fortune tellers, but you knew you both would do anything for the other, even if it meant risking anything and everything.

Netherlands Rarepair Week day 2- Species

Fun fact about me in fall of 2022 I had a massive vampire phase because I started reading Dracula for the first time. This then inspired me to buy the vampire sims 4 pack because, another fun fact about me, I’m a sims 4 fanatic (like I spend all my money on this game it’s lowkey a problem) in which I created a save where I made the Netherlands a vampire and Germany a normal human who was his roommate and came up with a storyline I was so obsessed with that I decided to write it. I kinda ended up forgetting about it after I wrote a few chapters, but the basic plot is that germany, who has lived his whole life in Bavaria, spontaneously decides to move to Leiden for a job and ends up moving in with the Netherlands, who he doesn’t know at all and, unbeknownst to him, is a vampire. The whole joke of it was going to be that Germany was super oblivious about the whole vampire thing even though it was pretty obvious and when he does start to figure it out he totally freaks out about being murdered, which would be understandable except the Netherlands doesn’t actually do anything remotely threatening in the story. He also doesn’t want to move back home because his brothers thought moving was a stupid decision in the first place and he decides he’d rather be killed by a vampire than told “I told you so.”

arthur (prince of camelot) still has to study under a tutor bc yknow uther wants him to be very intelligent before becoming king or something bc its super important idk idc anyways merlin is doing chores in his chambers while arthur is squinting at a book and merlin eventually caves and asks him what he’s reading and arthur gruffly explains that its a collection of stories from greece that make absolutely no sense so merlin asks him to read them outloud to him. arthur of course teases him and calls him an idiot and asks how he could possibly help but does as he’s asked and reads the stories to merlin as he does his chores. merlin (being crushed under the weight of destiny and tormented by the prophecies that kilgharrah spews) understands the stories almost immediately and gets all excited and starts rambling about them with arthur. arthur is glad to have someone who understands so he can give something that reflects a hint of understanding to his tutor who accepts it and moves onto the next unit of education.

the thing is, arthur finds more stories in camelot’s library and brings them up to his room to read them aloud to merlin under the guise of completing his studies but really he just wants to watch as merlin’s eyes gleam when he understands whats happening and listen to him ramble on and on about them bc he’s gay. the stories stick with merlin though and he realizes that they’re cautionary tales, that the heroes who were told too much of their future doomed themself to fulfill them - that them fighting the prophecies led to their completion. merlin takes it to heart and gives a big “fuck you” to kilgharrah before forging his own fate and helping morgana with her magic and handing out an olive branch to mordred and now everyone can live happily and peacefully in an albion teeming with magic.

Small dream that the supposed popularity poll movie about the most popular character(bakugou)was coming out and there was a literal trailer

I think it was after UA and after Bakugou starts professional work. Pretty sure he was working with Jeanist maybe as a sidekick. Or maybe he's about to debut as an independent hero so the world is watching him, so to speak.

The villain looked like a literal shape-shifting type, and had taken to shifting specifically as Bakugou(Dynamight), and causing trouble.

So now Bakugou has to deal with someone who is trying to tear down his status, who's committing crimes in his name, and has to reclaim his image, maybe?

I think, bc 1, there can be no Katsuki Bakugou arc without Izuku, 2, I would like to see Izuku do some cool things while he is Quirkless, and 3, Izuku would take SPECIAL offense to someone imitating/slandering/framing Katsuki and his image, Izuku would become involved in this somehow.

If it's Pre-support suit, he could be kind of an undercover or spy to help Katsuki fight back, get info, and catch the villain...if it's after that 8 yr reveal of the support suit... well, we could see him back in full action. Even his debut.

I'm thinking of this super cool shot of him grinning as he shifts into the suit, ready to go.

(Though I gotta say I like the idea of him not having the suit yet and doing some cool stuff anyway, using more of his brains than powers!!)

when it comes to spiderverse i absolutely do, anon! i've seen some fantastic art of jayce and viktor in the style of spiderverse, i think i reblogged it somewhere, so to say 'i love this idea' and 'i've had a little think about it already' would be two big understatements!

How Viktor would react to having a spider-person SO

honestly, the word 'fascinated' could tldr this entire post

Viktor is quite a private person, who would absolutely treasure communication and trust in a relationship

so as the Spider of the Runeterran universe, as soon as you had made your relationship official, you knew you had to tell him of your secret identity sooner rather than later

you'd been surprised neither he nor Jayce had worked it out yet, being incredibly intelligent inventors and all

but you'd figured they'd be safer not knowing, so you'd tried to subtly keep it from them anyway, and directed the conversation away from your Spider-alter ego whenever they occasionally came up

so you had it planned out.

you were going to tell Viktor next time he was at home, when you got him in a break day, and it was going to be the just the two of you. somewhere private, somewhere safe.

you would explain everything gently. you'd reassure him that if he wasn't comfortable with being with you because of it, then you'd have no resentment towards him

there were plenty of good reasons to be wary after all

then one night you had a particularly long escapade

trying to uncover a deeply-rooted crime circle, you'd ended up rescuing a group of young people who had gotten in trouble with enforcers for frankly ridiculous reasons

you'd then had to outsmart and deal with said enforcers (who were undoubtedly the worst part) to escape, and they head nothing back in their chase

you'd decided to head to the lab instead of home for safety, as at least that wasn't as incriminating. also there was more spaces to hide

it was so late that it was morning, and even you expected that Viktor had gone home by now

but he had, in fact, not

so you'd entered the lab by climbing through the Jana-knows-what storey window, blood rushing with adrenaline, levering yourself down to the floor cleanly with a web

right beside Viktor's desk, where he was sat, eyes wide and frozen

it hurt to see his expression focused on you. he was hiding it well but there was fear in how he swallowed, in how he clenched his fist on the handle of his cane

it hurt until you remembered that 1. he did not know it was you, and 2. he had just witnessed you crawling on glass, spinning on webs and moving way too fast for a normal human

also 3. you bore a striking resemblance to the description given of a 'criminal' (as described by enforcers) that had recently been reported to be involved in the explosion of a factory in the Undercity

sure, you knew it had been for good: that you had apprehended your target, and there had been no casualties

but it dawned at you that Viktor remaining as calm as he did was inherently a miracle

"can I... help...? you...?"

his thoughts were rushing at 100mph compared to their normal 50, and you could see it in his searching stare, watching and waiting for you to move, speak, do anything

luckily, after a few seconds of stumbled words and a hasty removal of your mask, he was back down to earth, heaving a sigh and almost laughing in relief

"I cannot believe—I thought you were...!"

for a moment anyhow, before the reality sunk in further and you were bombarded with questions

"wait, you are the Spider? the masked vigilante?"

"where did you just come from? were you fighting someone?"

"are you alright? are you hurt? did anyone follow you?"

after some explanation and reassurance, he relaxes a lot

honestly he takes the news very well! despite the unplanned nature of its reveal

he's very pragmatic as a person and very loyal

despite the obvious exhaustion on his face, he perks up with intrigue as you tell him everything—how you got bitten, how you got hold of your current suit, how you chose your identity, what you've been keeping tabs on, who you've fought, what you've lost.

however, he is a scientist first and foremost after all, so even after the basics are out of the way, his curiosity is never going to be quite sated

so later on, he's asking more specifics

he's always very polite when requesting to see your abilities, very gentle and never overwhelming you. he wants to see all of them, if you'll allow him to

the webs, the wall-climbing, the increased agility and strength, the spider sense, no matter what it is, you always leave him amazed

and your abilities quickly become a source of inspiration for his own trajectories into science

he's particularly fascinated with the possibilities of your webs, regardless of whether they're organic or mechanical

he sees this as an opportunity to work with you and that makes him very happy indeed

on top of inspiring him scientifically, your passion for helping others reminds him what he's doing his work for, as well as how much he loves you

he adores your heart, your compassion, even if it worries him that you're putting yourself in harms way

this likely leads to him putting time aside for side projects, where he invents things to help you

he may be more of a pacifist, but he's surprisingly down with vigilante justice

he wants to help and protect people with his own technology, he'd be a hypocrite with his head in the sand if he believed that never fighting was truly an option

just as long as you're careful

because of this, he's not going to make you weapons. not that you would ever ask him to. that's not your style, and you'd much rather have the tools he creates to help you escape extra sticky situations

his main focus first and foremost is to help upgrade your suit, particularly providing more safety for your mask so you can breathe in the Undercity

however, whatever upgrade or mechanism it is as time goes on, he always lets you take the lead. you're the hero, not him, and he just wants to support you as best he can

for what it's worth, he'll talk positively of your secret identity to Jayce, hoping it'll get through to Mel

he would even defend you publicly if he was in the council room and the Spider came up

much to your chagrin, as you're worried for his safety just as much as he's worried about yours

when you move in together particularly, you're aware of the danger you're putting him in

you regularly frequent the Undercity and have dealings down there, so returning to live Topside by day has its innate dangers

especially when you're constantly avoiding villains and enforcers alike

but also your identity must stay a secret for his sake as well as yours

he'd be ruined if the fact that he's in a committed relationship with a a vigilante became known

unsurprisingly, Viktor overlooks this part

but as long as the two of you look out for each other, you're certain nothing can go wrong

overall Viktor is a caring and loyal partner, and this wouldn't change in the slightest if his S/O was a vigilante spider-person

he'd be incredibly supportive, though likely wouldn't be able to keep from getting a little excited over the capabilities of your powers. and from asking a ton of questions

you'd become a muse of sorts for him in some of his inventions, and a close partner in his technology in other ways

although, if you have access to the Spiderverse? poor man's going to start fizzing internally

the prospect of portals? already functioning across dimensions? universes?!

he's a reserved kind of person, but I don't think he'd be able to stop himself from trying to weasel his way into meeting someone who knew a lot about how it worked

aka, if you don't know how the Arachnoid Humanoid Poly-Multiverse's teleporting mechanics work, then he's going to try and talk to someone who does

with your permission of course

I think that Viktor would get along very well with Miguel...!

...until he very much doesn't.

i feel bad for raquel lee bolleau and i feel like what she's saying about the lack of transparency behind quiet on set is a bigger issue that the consumers of this type of content don't want to talk about or criticize. social media has led to a huge boom in tragedy porn and trauma porn about the entertainment industry but especially the children's entertainment industry, especially especially from the eras when the largest demographic in that audience were consuming it themselves.

it's already been problematic in itself that there is an oversaturation of unresearched and repetitive videos on the exploitation of former child stars. it seems like the creators and audience don't often ask themselves "have we gotten enough of this? do we need another take on it? is another video full of dan schneider rumors and gossipy forum posts really adding to the public discourse?" i don't know quite at what point it becomes exploitative that this content continues to be made, and be evergreen in social media algorithms. the volume, the reach, and the general lack of quality control are the evil triad. because we are far past the point where i really believe everyone consuming this stuff cares about exploited children. there's far too many people gawking and not reevaluating the systems of power involved. or, to put it more concretely: how many times do we all need to watch those clips of ariana grande squeezing the potato and spilling water on her neck? at what point is this just personally disrespectful and retraumatizing for the victims that for the most part we, the consumers of internet content, are claiming to advocate for?

quiet on set is the first time traditional media got involved in this niche. there is still a lot of value in some of the discoveries made by the series. but it does not have completely clean hands in this either. it does not feel like everyone involved in making the executive decisions cared nearly enough about the vulnerability of former child stars they recruited to share their stories, or hell, whose stories were told without their involvement, such as amanda bynes and racquel in episode 5. these people did not even give statements.

the focus of this docuseries was far too broad and not coherent enough at the end of the day. and they did not give enough support to all of the people they roped in to tell their stories about childhood trauma. i have a hard time trying not to be completely cynical about its whole production, because i really want to believe that many of the people who worked on it do care. not every individual involved knew or had control over the injustices that happened in its own production. but the executives? fuck em. they greenlit this thing, and probably incentivized the creators to make these episodes as fast as possible, because they knew it would be a cash cow. something as sensitive as THIS series should not be so poorly produced just because it will be a guaranteed smash.
