going to the laundromat. they have to stay there because someone stole v's underwear one too many times and that shits expensive

late night trip to buy cigarettes. v was convinced she still had a pack. she bought a bunch of vapes some time ago but johnny gets grumpy when she doesnt smoke a "real" cigarette

getting lunch from one of the stalls in the megabuilding. johnny picks the food, v picks the drink.

v has an impromptu "i need to dye my hair" moment, she already owns every colour under the sun but none of them are right so they do a "quick" trip to the drugstore. johnny wants new nailpolish

v decides to pop into the record store. johnny looks around and finds some old classics. v buys all of them. + a poster bc it looks cool

v is doing some coding and the sound of the keyboard relaxes him. eventually it reminds him of alt and he goes off at her. v obliges however and switches to the digital keyboard. johnny doesnt know if he likes it

they walk past a thriftstore and johnny stops v. they are selling a copy of v's favourite movie. she lost the vhs some time ago and never bothered to get a new one

even tho v lived in her apartment for a few months now she still has some boxes to unpack. johnny gets a glimpse into her past that doesnt feel like an invasion of privacy. v wishes she could do the same for him

back at the record store johnny talks about guitars. v doesnt understand a word and it reminds her of her ex. maybe she does have a type

okay so like, when you lose a lot of weight, the world and everyone in it becomes suddenly way way nicer to you. people treat you better across the board, from strangers to family to friends; you get opportunities you wouldn’t have otherwise gotten; doctors take you seriously; etc etc etc. anyone who has gone through any form of major weight loss can tell you this.

& it is absolutely fucking insane how many people who have gone through this weight loss respond to this fact of the world not with horror and disgust at how bad society hates fat people, but rather with a sort of missionary-style evangelizing to everyone around them that they need to lose weight, too, because life just gets so much better!!!
