I wonder if Rayquaza was conscious on some level inside his Pokeball during the past century and knew that Roy and his grandfather took care of the Ancient Pokeball.

#thinking about roy and rayquaza now that we're getting closer to rayquaza acknowledging the group #a bit nervous because i hope their future connection will be depicted well etc #ameliko's narrative around their grandparents is heavy and critical to the story #but i also like that roy fits in with his connection with his grandfather even if it's not as overt #(because his story is different)#always found it pretty interesting that roy's grandpa found rayquaza's pokeball a long time ago and just decided to keep it #and then gave it to roy..#i wonder if rayquaza would feel grateful on some level that they both took care of him all this time #because it allowed him to meet his friends again eventually #or maybe rayquaza wasn't really aware of what happened outside when he was inside his pokeball. idk #roy #character notes

listen i don’t care if you agree with what shiv did in the finale or not but the most relatable sibling moment in the entire ending was her seeing her older brother put his feet up on their dead fathers desk already gloating and smirking in self satisfaction or hearing him mutter “yeah that’s fuckin right” after roman’s hesitant vote and immediately being like “yeah actually I would rather be skinned alive than watch this play out in real time”
