It’s weird to me that I spent the entire day yesterday celebrating DeForest Kelley's birthday and then what did I dream about? Not TOS Bones, but of hanging out with Karl Urban.

This is the latest in my string of increasingly bizarre dreams about The Boys, a show which, I cannot emphasize enough, I have not even seen five minutes of and know very little about (I've seen some gifs). In this one I was hired to play Butcher’s long-lost superhero daughter, (which makes zero sense given our respective ages), so I was spending a lot of time on set trying to learn the ropes of the show. According to my dream, Butcher’s superpower was to turn into a giant worm.

I asked Karl how that was helpful and he said: “It’s not.”

“...Except for that one episode where we had to tunnel through some dirt."

And I was like...fair enough.

He said “they don’t use it a lot because the effects are expensive so usually I’m just fighting and brooding.”

My superpower involved solving crossword puzzles. Basically, I had a bunch of blank puzzles, and if I solved a word in the puzzle, that thing would appear. So, many of the solutions were, like, “flaming arrow.” Karl was very impressed that I could solve big crossword puzzles in real life, because he was incapable of actually turning into a giant worm.

The big plot of the year was that Butcher’s ex was pregnant (by whom I don’t know, maybe him) and extremely angry and was sustaining herself by eating human flesh like a zombie. There was an evil law firm that was somehow involved in allowing this to continue. I asked Karl if this made any sense within the arc of the show (again, I can't stress how little I actually know about the show) and he said “just roll with it and don’t think about it too much. That’s what I always do.”

Anyway we wound up at some kind of cast bonding trip on the beach and I kept trying to get a good picture with him to show you all because I thought you’d never believe me otherwise (forgetting, for some reason, that it would be obvious when I was starring in the same show as his kid that we knew each other), but all I had was a crappy 2004 digital camera. He was pretty good at using it, though, because he said his friend Chris Pine never had new tech either. That’s when I admitted that Bones was my favourite Trek character, and we wound up having a conversation about that.

At the end of the trip, we went back to shooting and it turned out that the evil we were fake fighting in the show was real and we had to fight it in real life using modified versions of our TV show powers. It was very complicated. I was about to get killed by an evil hockey player (we were shooting in Toronto, after all) when Karl turned into a giant worm and flattened him. After the fight, back in human form, he was like, huh, I guess I actually can do that in real life.

The season was very successful and we were renewed, and I was really excited about it, until we found out that the big plot twist was that I wasn’t really Butcher’s daughter and this season I was going to date his son (does he even have a son? I have no idea). So I walked off the set because I was afraid Tumblr was going to cancel me for fake incest.

Anyway, sorry for subjecting you to one of my truly strange dreams, but you’ll all be happy to know that Dream Karl the Sometimes Giant Worm and I are friends now.

I know some people don't like sapnap singing because he doesn't really try and tbh it doesn't always sound good. But you know what? I believe more people should be unapologetic about their singing and just do it because it's fun. Stop with the 'you can only sing when you good at it' and that it must be perfect because otherwise there's gonna be someone listing who will have issues with it. I also have a musical ear and I can hear when someone is out of tune but I'm not gonna be snobbish about it. And also there is still this stigma for young boys that singing is not for men. Which is so stupid because there's so many famous singers. But someone like sapnap showing those kids that they can just enjoy it and not care is actually so good

It's actually really cute that after Dream finally face revealed one of the first places he wanted to visit was his best friend's family home who he had known since they were basically kids. They all really went to Texas to meet Sapnap's family 🥺

ok but the way that in dtkq centric fics/aus even if sbi is placed in a antagonistic role, they're rarely actually Evil or villains, usually it's just conflict of interest or something of the like. More often than not they're actually on relatively good terms just not the focus of the fic. but in so many sbi centric ones the dream team is Evil Evil (and even including sap and George contradicting the "it's in character" argument, because george is a more neutral character and Sapnap is pretty explicitly sided with Tommy (not to mention how it ignores the actual canon sbi dynamic too)) (and notice how quackity never gets the same treatment despite also being a character who's more explicitly villainous, and Karl may or may not, or he might not even be mentioned)

I'm not saying there's something there,,,, but I am saying that generally (not counting Freaks on twitter) I've seen more sbi fans who hate the dt than dt fans who hate sbi

I suppose it's different depending on whether it's an au or not but I can excuse them saying c!George and c!Sapnap would also treat c!Tommy specially and even c!Wilbur and c!Techno because in canon SNF really doesn't like them a lot hell one of the first things c!George says to who he believes to be c!Dream is that they can be together they can go mess around with c!Tommy's stuff and c!Sapnap has sides with c!Tommy but not because of a loyalty or care towards him but because he's against c!Dream c!Sapnap has actually described c!Tommy as the thing that screwed over the good life the Dream Team used to have in the early days smp and c!George doesn't like c!Techno a lot because he sees him as the person who c!Dream replaced with him

I feel like c!Quackity when it comes down to c!Tommy he does care for c!Tommy and he does want justice in a sense but people tend to make it different in a way like with believing that the reason c!Quackity tortured c!Dream is solely to avenge c!Tommy and absolutely nothing else which is blatantly untrue and with c!Karl I feel like people who make c!SBI fics wouldn't even include him because their characters don't have very memorable story together

So if you are saying it from an in canon perspective or from an au that very closely follows the characters current personalities I understand giving them a more villainous attitude if the protagonist is c!Tommy

But if it's just fanfiction that doesn't follow that at all it really makes no sense and it does rather give off the vibes that it's less about the characters or the plot

But I can see what you mean yeah for a good while in the fandom it was pretty normal (Still kinda is) for SBI mains whether c! Or cc! To pretty blantaly dislike Dream and the Dream Team as a whole which sucks because all the ccs are each other's good friends

I can't really blame people who write c!Tommy centric fics for making the c!Dream Team villainous in it because from c!Tommy's perspective they are or for making c!Quackity nicer than from a c!Dream centric fic because on c!Tommy's perspective c!Quackity is somebody he calls older brother but I simply won't read those fics because I can tell that they way they interpret aspects from canon is either on bad faith or something I plainly think it's wrong and it shows to me what they think about certain things and how they miss what morally grey actually means

Any theories on who Harpocrates is? I've seen theories ranging from Karl, Foolish to Hannah (based more on symbolism rather than motivation), to Puffy or Wilbur (these two based more on character motivation).

Well, the problem really is, that they gave us nothing. It’s a complete mystery box. So it really could be anyone. Could be Foolish, could be Philza’s fridge wife, who knows?

Now, if you want to know some of the ideas that I like, than here:

1. It’s Secrecy - This is pretentious in the exact way that I adore. The concept of secrecy is sitting at the table. It’s an in-world metaphor to show that the most important aspect of the syndicate is that it remains a secret - and Techno is pretentious enough that he would do it.

2. It’s a joke - This is option 1, just as a troll. The member is never going to be revealed, it will be a running gag that it will always stay a secret, who Harpocrates is. We’ll never know and it will remain a mystery forever - Techno’s enough of a troll to also do that.

3. Callahan - ... I just want more Callahan in my life. Also, his big thing is that he never speaks, so who would be better suited for the role of God of Confidentiality?

4. It’s a new member of the Dream SMP - Ever since Ranboo’s introduction, it has kinda become en vogue to have a fully-fleshed out backstory for your character ready to go. You see it a bit with Puffy, Foolish and Hannah. So this would just be next logical step to take - introduce a character already completely integrated as a vital part of an on-going storyline. Something similar was done with Phil, but he also had the benefit of intertextual build-up. I’d like this option to happen, but I don’t know how likely it is.

Now, here’s some members that I think it’s definitely not: Tommy, Tubbo, BadBoyHalo.

People, I’m skeptical about:

1. Puffy - It makes sense, but we already know that she’s sympathetic to Technoblade. Building up a mystery box only to reveal it’s the most likely option is a bit of a weird dramatic choice. Would probably be seen as anticlimactic.

2. Wilbur - Now, unless c!Techno knows how to do voodoo, I don’t see how he would have figured out the Wilbur would be revived. They would have to do some legwork to explain that. Now Ghostbur/Glattbur on the other hand, we haven’t seen him in a hot minute, so this is more likely.

3. Hannah - She has recently been heavily featured in the Egg-storyline, in a way where it would be weird to reveal her as Harpocrates now. Like, if we knew she was part of the Syndicate and then she was abducted by the Eggpire, then we’d have tension - that’s a pretty good dramatic arc here. But revealing it after the fact, would be ... harder pull off.

4. Purpled - See Hannah.

Brothers anon, sorry I've been gone for a while. To be honest I found out about Pokémon Uranium and I've been playing it non-stop for the last few days. And now I have a massive brain fart and can not remember a certain event in the story for the life of me for some reason. I know it happened I just don't know what happened. 

14: They'd both roll into a ball and if you throw them fast and hard enough it'll be like playing bowling! It happens when their all asleep, and about a month after Foolish. It happens because while everyone else is sleeping, Ranbob isnt, as he just cant sleep. So he's sat just outside the cave they stopped in, staring at the stars. When Raq sneaks up behind him, originally he planned to get Ran by using a mix of posion and slowness, but upon seeing Ranbob he takes advantage and gets him instead. So he shots him with a slowness/fatigue arrow and when Ranbob eventually falls asleep, he comes and gets him. Because he wants Ran though he leaves a message in enderian, then takes Ranbob to a camp with a few other hunters. 

Ran is pissed and acts impulsively, though his anger is used to mask the desperation, horror, and sadness he feels. Everyone else  are also mad yet scared, and are stuck between immediately going to help or taking time to come up with a plan. Specifically between Watson, Isaac, and Benjamin wanting to wait to come up with a plan. And Grievous, Cletus, and Jackie wanting to immediately go rescue him. While Charles focuses more on making sure Ran doesnt run off without anyone else...which he does anyway. They eventually settle on planning but that's ruined when Ran runs off and everyone has to scramble to wake up and follow after him. 

They get him back within a week actually so very fast. They get him back by Ran running off to the camp he had seen remains of eailer (it looked like a often camped at spot so it makes sense to check there) and since he got there at night no one saw him. Which gave him a chance to look around and find where Ranbob was. By the time the others caught up to him, the sun was rising and he was running to hide in the forest. They spend the next day observing the camp and what everyone does, then that night they launch a suprise attack where Ran manages to grab his brother and run away. Though he does get shot. 

In the aftermath Ran is poisoned with the same stuff his currently barely lucid brother is, and barely manage to get them to a safe spot. Where the others eventually find them and take to watching over and eventually grabbing them and running futher away. And when their finally in a safe spot and the brothers are awake and left alone, theres a bit of a heart to heart between the two that allows each to tell their side of things, and opens tons of doors for them. The heart to heart ends with them both apologizing and hugging, and at a later time (not sure when yet) during the night they comfort eachother and end up sleeping next to eachother.

Not super often, but it comes into play for little stuff. Like the entire group is just mining when Ranboo just runs into a gaint vein of emeralds. Oh yes, he actually walks into a lake to get something he dropped when suddenly he's in extreme pain. And while the others treat his burns his brother is just silently disappointed that he didn't know he couldn't go into water. Ran knows well enough to avoid it from his time alone, Ranbob after the above accident tries to avoid water but forgets at time, while Ranboo will avoid water he also is the kind of person to just step into water because he can (its like that moment in one of his streams where they where talking about lactose intolerance people and how they just chug milk because they refuse to let natural selection take them.). 

Stealing items (which will get them almost killed), hiding things from people, the typical putting their bedroll over a hole, pushing Phil into water and running from him when he emerges pissed, etc. 

They have 3 main ones 1. Something malfunctioned with Karl's time traveling watch and sent all of them back to a time already visited, and because of the malfunction the watch as almost completely broke, leaving them stuck until its fixed. 2. Dream is behind it since he's in both worlds and found a way to break the time barrier and sent them back so they wouldn't get in his way. 3. God hates them. 

They do! Because they are stuck in the future. And because everything else that used to cause the anger and sparks the fights are gone now, and any current existing spite or problems between people are put on hold so they can find out how to escape. And with those factors out of the way they manage to actually talk and get to know eachother. 

I like to think that Techno and Phil have never gotten along with Dream (the only reason Techno ever worked with Dream is because it was for a common goal/interest, and it took more priority than killing eachother), and want to kill him for multiple reasons (Tommy, Wilbur, Ranboo, Fundy, etc) and will gladly take any excuse to kill him. The fact Dream went this far to harm this many people makes them disgusted and determined to finally follow through and kill him. There no real start to the ire between them all, they just never liked Dream from the start and all he's done has done nothing but depend it. Brfore knowing their reasons for being hesitant, their mad that Tubbo and Karl are even hesitanting in killing Dream. But after their explanation for their hesitation, everyone actually freezes and realizes, "Oh shit their right." And instead start to plan to find a soild way home first that won't collapse on them, then kill Dream. Which is easier said than done. 

He said what I said last time with the Technoblade stuff. But he also just kinda yelled at them about how Ran needs to stop ignoring evidence and how Ranbob needs to stand up for himself. He also empathizes that they need to think of how the others view this all, how it affects them, how they focused solely on themselves and now need to start focusing on others. 

Also you got a cat? May I see cat or no?

Pokemon are always awesome. Is the game any good? But good to have you back, Brothers Anon.

14: They could make a game out of it, when they're bored. Ill-advised, but certainly an interesting time!

Why does Raq know Enderian? How's Ranbob's time at the camp, if he's even aware of it, since you said he's out of it? Ran gets shot? If Ranbob's barely lucid, how does it effect Ran? How does that go, with both of them out of it?

They hug? Does Ran admit he was worried? Do they do this when they're more lucid, or no? How's the morning after this whole show go?

Can you imagine how everybody feels? They're mining for hours, Ranboo, five minutes in, comes out with half a stack of emeralds. The confusion, the bewilderment. Beautiful.

Ranbob: Oops, dropped something-

They just? Walk into water sometimes? Good lord, their poor groups. Imagine having to try and keep your endermen friends from taking a tip purely out of spite.

It sounds like these guys have more of a death wish than anything. Pushing Phil into water is just asking to die.

Pfft. God hates them? Who proposed that one? Hilarious image that invokes. They're all just sitting in a circle, throwing out ideas, very tired. Someone throws out theory number three. Everyone agrees immediately.

This implies Techno to be fairly closer with the mentioned people, if he's angry with Dream for what was done to them. What's his relationship with them all in this AU?

How does that whole thing go, with them originally being upset with Karl and Tubbo? Is it something that just comes out immediately, and is quickly resolved, or is it something that rolls out over the course of a few days?

Ranboo has very good advice, but also, like? Mr. Typically And Possibly Literally Spineless telling his descendant to stand up for himself? How did his group react to that?

I thought I'd start out with a brief summarization if the story. I plan to use this as a index of kind as well. (This is basically translated from the lyrics booklet because I'm not good at summarising).

Just a few notices: I've never actually seen this musical, despite having been in love with it for over 10 years, so if i get anything wrong please tell me :)

This will be based on the swedish version, and based around the official CD recording. Some songs are called different names in the CD and the musical, but I'll use the CD names here in the index and specify for each song if it does have a different name in the musical.

I'll use both the little booklet that came with the CDs and a booklet with the lyrics for audiences that was printed for the show when it was put up in Stockholm 1998.

Story act 1

We are in the 19th century and Nils has been spending the last 25 years struggling with removing rocks from his farm, Korpamoen in Småland, when one day a rock falls on him, shattering his hip and leg. He can no longer farm the land and his eldest son, Karl Oskar, who is barely of age, convinces him to sell him the farm. Karl Oskar knows having a farm is not a one man job and sets out to meet the person he has in mind (Prolog).

Kristina from Duvemåla sits on her swing and dreams of her beau, Karl Oskar. She sing about the road she knows him to walk towards her and their meeting place (Duvemåla hage). When Karl Oskar comes he tells her of his new investment and proposes to her. They wed at Duvemåla (Min lust till dig).

Karl Oskar's younger brother - Robert the dreamer - is sent off by his parents to serve as a farmhand at another, bigger, farm. During his walk to his new employer and home he stops by a brook and thinks that as the brook long for the ocean he longs for freedom in the New World (Ut mot ett hav).

The first two years go well for Kristina and Karl Oskar. But during the third year all crop is drowned in rain and the fourth year's crop is ruined by drought. It's hard to feed the growing family and Karl Oskar longs for a nation where wheat rises high on the fields, not like it is at home where he constantly has to struggle (Missväxt).

Robert comes to Karl Oskar and Kristina. His master has given him a hard beating and he wants to get his inheritance so he can leave for North America. Karl Oskar is happy to announce he too have gone with similar thoughts, but Kristina stops their plans (Nej).

Kristina's uncle Danjel holds a forbidden prayer congregation in his house (Lilla skara). They are found out by the authorities who forbid them from meeting anymore, and they forbid Danjel from preaching (Aldrig).

Food is scarce and everyone is hungry. Kristina has birthed a new baby and gathers ingredients for "christeningporridge". The eldest daughter Anna discover the porridge, however, and cannot resist eating it. Starved as she is her stomach cannot handle the abundance of food as it bloats her stomach and she dies. Kristina despairs- she cannot keep her children safe even on dry land, maybe her husband is right in that they'll fare better crossing the ocean? (Kom till mig alla)

Kristina is terrified of the journey, she's never even seen the sea before, but Karl Oskar only sees possibilities. Joining them is Danjel, his family, Ulrika the local prostitute, her illegimate daughter Elin and Arvid the farmhand (Vi öppnar alla grindar).

The trip is terrible (Bönder på havet). Kristina discover she has lice and wrongfully accuses Ulrika as the one to blame (Löss). There are horrible storms and Kristina gets very sick with scurvy. Karl Oskar despairs at her bedside, afraid of losing her (Stanna, Begravning till Sjöss).

At last the emigrants reach New York. There they see people in beautiful clothes who pays them no mind (A Sunday in Battery Park). They are given an apple and Kristina remineses over the apples at home (Hemma).

The journey continues by boat and train by many days and nights (Från New York till Stillwater). One rainy night they are left at a dock with nowhere to go, but the baptist pastor Jackson shows up and invites them all to his house. They reach the lake Ki-Chi-Saga where Karl Oskar and Kristina intend to build their new home (Kamfer och lavendel). But Robert and Arvid wants to travel to California and the gold fields to find their fortune, despite Karl Oskar's reservations (Drömmen om guld). Kristina gives birth once more and tells her baby of how it won't get to experience her homeland (Min astrakan).

Act 2

Kristina seems to be alone in being homesick (Överheten) but Karl Oskar sees how she feels and show her Anna's shoes and they remind them both why they left Sweden (Ljusa kvällar om våren).

It's Christmas and Karl Oskar and the children surprise Kristina with a new iron cast stove (Präriens drottning). Guests arrive to celebrate the holiday but the party ends with a row between Karl Oskar and the trapper Nöjd about who really is the owner of the lands (Vildgräs).

Robert returns from the gold fields a broken man and tells Kristina of how he has come to grips with his destiny (Jag har förlikat mig till slut) and how he lost Arvid (Guldet blev till sand). The money Robert gave Karl Oskar turn out to be counterfeit and he becomes furious with his brother (Wild cat money). Hurt by his brothers words and sickly Robert leaves. He stops by a brook and lie down to die (Ut mot ett hav).

Ulrika has had many suitors (Vill du inte gifta dej med mej). But she tells Kristina (Ett Herrans underverk) that she has decided upon the pastor Jackson and that she'll become a baptist like him (Down to the sacred wave).

Kristina suffers a miscarriage and the doctor says if she falls pregnant again she'll die (Missfall). For the first time in her life Kristina feels her faith crumble with doubt. How can God take away her child, her native land and now her husband (Du måste finnas)? After some time (Skördefest) she overcomes her doubts and resolves to put her life in God's hands (Här har du mig igen). She falls pregnant once more (Red Iron/Kära Herre, hjälp mig trösta). The other settlers flee for their lives from the war that breaks loose (Var hör vi hemma?) But Karl Oskar and Kristina remain. They've sent for apple seeds from back home. During its fourth year the flowers manages to survive the frost and just as the fruit becomes ripe Kristina dies (I gott bevar).

Being kept busy always makes time fly, I hope it's not too stressful or overwhelming all the same though! Don't worry at all about not having time, I'm in a similar situation, started an internship early January and I've never felt more active in my life (going well tho!! Thankfully). Ok I'm not even gonna lie to you I was thinking about rewatching Sherlock like two weeks ago, that show was my fave years ago. They definitely (in my opinion, potentially wildly popular I never actually was in the fandom space) dropped the ball on it as soon as s3? Maybe? When they gave us no explanation for the big s2 finale (spoiler free even though we've both seen it, I don't know why 😭). Kind of maybe in the mood to perhaps read the Sherlock books instead, but it will be to the faces of Benedict and whatever johns real name is, I think it actually is John right? I'm actually finishing off Breaking bad (after like 6 months I'd be quicker make my own spin off show, it all started because I wanted to get Qnfs references and now watch the upload with Mr man who's name escapes me) so everything's coming after that. My friend recommended the walking dead, so I'll share that rec with u lmk if you've seen or if it's worth? She said she watched it like 9 years ago and is just picking up where she left off 😳 my memory would not be on the same wave of that idea ngl. Alsoo on the anime front (who can relate) started watching Mirai Nikki and also Sonic X 🥴 (that's literally the most self describing sentance I've ever wrote).

I'm the exact same as you with not being involved in this fandom space anymore it's so bad I hadn't seen one stream since like January, but I stopped in of course for Qnf bowling blog (really enjoyed it tbh) and I was like wow I miss them only for quackity to fly to England the following week. However comma despite being excited for it out of nowhere the vibes were not as fun as I would've expected ngl. Idk if you keep up with like dtqk updates on Twitter but that's where I read the cliff notes summary of what they've been at every so often but dearly beloved dream went publically blabbing about George feeling depressed in England??? King,, what? What are you doing talking about your friends personal life like this 😭 so I think that probably put a little damper on things for me. I enjoyed the stream where snf shared a mouse / keyboard, and Quackitys stream was good energy but I haven't been able to sit through Karl's / Tina's streams without turning it off as soon as i start. So if you need recs this is all I've got (so sorry) or if you've watched any of these do let me know your thoughts!! I honestly think this might be it for me (I think I might be hate watching at this point), mcc was my shining star in the dark for reigniting my enjoyment and George is not partaking amen I'll get the hint king. Have a good sleep! :D Good morning when you do see this! But gosh, yeah, only 3 episodes, and Inbetween only showing up the last few minutes, but there have really been such huge developments? All of Karl learning more about it, then escaping, and the whole Other Side. But UA still feels accurate and tonally consistent with all of Tales and it just fits! Super glad that it conveys all you wanted it to. :D

But yeah, Q's definitely gone in big on the cinematography!! Callahan helps film a lot of it, I believe. Esp since I think he said a while back he'd probably only stream DSMP when it's a big lore thing? So he's putting in a lot of time on them and they look so good for it.

Yeeeee, Kingdom Hearts is so cool!! Haven't played it but I've seen others play parts, so much of the story is interesting and creative. And all the influence of it Karl takes for his lore is just!!!! It's neat!! And I can't wait to see where Karl takes the story next, because it feels like things are gonna have to reach a breaking point eventually and if that happens it's gonna be nuts.

good morning! i woke up thinking about spau and i'm gonna rewatch tales once i'm done watching the last few episodes of an anime i've been watching. leo go brrrrrrrrrrrr

the inbetween segments are paced really well i think? like it's got this great buildup and also it was really fun to reread through my older opinions on stuff and see my own interpretation of the inbetween change as it got more sinister. im really glad i started watching tales after hearing abt mizu bc seeing it unfold in real time was amazing

i love kh a lot fdglkxdhflkdf i havent.. actually been able to play any of the mainline games.. bc of not having the consoles kh 1 & 2 released on, but ive played the handheld games (chain of memories, days, re:coded, dream drop distance) and they had a huge impression on me. i should replay 3D.. i was Starting to replay it but then got distracted, probably bc of my 3ds's R button getting finicky. but yeah its SO COOL seeing the direct influence it has on tales, especially the inbetween, and it makes me really excited for whatever the Other Side turns out to be bc from visuals alone / the implied "darkness is more friendly than light" theming there is a Lot of potential that i am absolutely gonna spau brrrr over

oh man blaseball got weird (/pos). the end of the last era was like, the teams blew up the sun + killed god + failed to escape a black hole so everybody is stuck in limbo while the microphone, which is now acting of its own accord, keeps switching between parallel universes while trying to recharge after being damaged in the last era. also we STILL dont know what happened to original wyatt but MaX, Ivy, and NaN are okay! i mean uh NaN was on the first team to get nullified by the black hole and MaX & Ivy technically died because their teams got technically incinerated so they'd have the power to kill the Coin, but they're fiiiiiiine. i think. normal blaseball stuff. :p

(what this means gameplay-wise is the devs are testing out game mechanics with temporary "circuits" that have all-new players and are gonna continue the "main" storyline once they're done testing, and in the meantime we get to learn more about the microphone as an object and what it can do! also the new circuit is starting tomorrow so that's exciting)
