Small neat detail I noticed: Vox's and Sir Pentious' use of their hypnotism kind of reflects their characters.

Vox actively uses his hypnotic eye to influence people into believing him and buying from him. And he uses it very often. To the point that when any kind of obstacle comes his way, the hypno-eye just seems to activate on instinct.

Pentious has only used his hypnotism once so far and it's when he's defending himself from Angel Dust. His hypnotism is also much weaker than Vox's. Whereas Vox seems to be able to brainwash people and the effects last for some time, Pentious's hypnosis only stuns Angel and Angel manages to break out of it after like a second.

I just thought that was really interesting.

I haven’t drawn these two in a while and wanted to see how different they look since then. They look relatively the same, my art style’s just improved lol

For those unaware these two were made for a “fake game” zine that got cancelled— but I got so attached to them and the concept that I kept them around. The premise is that an anxiety-ridden college student gets haunted by the demonic spirit of a dead rockstar and the two work together to win Vee concert tickets to her favorite artist, “Von Bomba”, while also figuring out the mysterious circumstances around Andi’s death.

At some point in time I’ll get to covering their story, but for now you get one off illustrations and concept art !!! 💥

You can find some content warnings in the reply section of this post. Shows are listed by countries, numbered by the order I recommend watching in, not by rating. All shows have happy endings unless specified otherwise. The list will hopefully be updated regularly (last updated on 04/04/2024, 98 queer shows in total).

Potion - A basic healing item sold in almost every shop across Valisthea. Held in a small bottle that can fit in most pockets and bags; the bright blue potion is a quick fix for most non-fatal injuries like cuts and bruises. 

Said to have a distinctive refreshing and minty flavour.

Can be orally ingested for near-instant healing or applied to a bandage for slower healing over time.

High Potion - Also known as a ‘Hi-Potion’ it was created to counter more serious injuries during combat. The High Potion is a green liquid held in a round bottle that is larger than most regular potions; meaning that fewer can be carried. It is usually sold by specific merchants rather than by every store across Valisthea.

Said to have a much stronger mint flavour with a hint of citrus.

Can be orally ingested for near-instant healing or applied to a bandage for slower healing over time.

Numbing Elixir - An elixir created by Vincent Valentine; a pale purple liquid that is commonly used to prepare an area for stitches or other medical procedures. The length of time the numbing effect is active depends entirely on how much is used; more elixir means a longer and stronger effect but it holds more risk as a result. 

Said to have a very strong wyvern tail scent. The few that have ingested it have said it tastes quite bitter but is otherwise flavourless.

Is applied to a cloth which is then used to daub at the area in question; not for oral consumption as it contains small amounts of potentially lethal plant matter.

Blood Replenishing Elixir - A deep red potion held in a slender decanter-shaped bottle that was created by Vincent Valentine; used to accelerate the regeneration of blood cells after an injury. A few drops can regenerate almost a litre of blood in only a handful of hours however it can only be administered by trained healers and physickers.

Said to taste a lot like spicy berries with a honey-sweet aftertaste.

For oral consumption only at the behest of trained healers.

Emetic Potion - A sea foam green potion in a short but thin bottle that was created by Vincent Valentine. It was created to help remove potentially poisonous matter that was orally ingested as it forces the taker to expel the contents of their stomach. The one true downside is the fact that the potion is prone to dehydrating the taker; meaning that it can be potentially fatal if not administered correctly.

It is well known to have an extremely bitter and unpleasant taste that makes it hard to administer.

For oral consumption only- to be given only by fully trained healers.

Anti-Emetic Potion - A peach-coloured potion in a small cuboidal bottle that was created by Vincent Valentine. As the name implies, its sole purpose is to prevent one from throwing up and is typically used to help counter serious cases of stomach flu. Unlike its emetic counterpart, it is a common sight in most households as it doesn’t require a trained healer to use even if it comes with extensive instructions to prevent misuse.

Known to have a notoriously sweet taste; most say it tastes like strawberries and other sweet fruits.

For oral consumption only after the instructions have been properly read.

Burn Cream - A plain white cream that is held in a small, silver crystal jar which was improved upon by Vincent Valentine. The initial cream was created by an amateur healer who managed to make a passable cream that was then used for at least a decade with minimal improvement. Vincent decided to improve the formula and has since released a burn cream capable of soothing, healing and numbing even the most painful burns. 

It has a mild, soothing smell which is very similar to a plant native to Dahlmekia that has, since the creation of the cream, mostly gone extinct. 

For external use only; oral consumption is not advised as the cream contains high doses of a potentially lethal mineral.

Migraine Reliving Potion - A deep purple potion in a spherical bottle the size of an adult palm; created by Vincent Valentine. The potion was created to soothe headaches and migraines and quickly proved to be a brilliant curative. It is not typically a controlled medication but does require a prescription if you need a stronger dosage- just as a precautionary measure to ensure the public’s safety.

It tastes and smells like lavender mixed with sweet oranges.

Typically administered orally but can be injected by trained healers; dosage must be cut in half if injected due to potency issues.

Sleep Elixir - A periwinkle-coloured elixir in an ovoid-shaped bottle that has a small, light purple flower typically attached to the neck with a small silver ribbon. It was created by Vincent Valentine as a sleep aid for use outside of their clinic at the request of other healers. A small amount is able to knock someone out for at minimum 3 hours and the highest recommended dose lasts up to 12 hours- any more than that and it can be fatal. 

It has a smooth vanilla taste with a slight cinnamon aftertaste. Its scent is described similarly but it also has notes of a gentle lavender and chamomile blend.

Administered orally by a trained medical professional- not for household use.

no but i'm literally just thinking SOOO much about how Vox is obviously living a hollow and unfulfilling life, and how the only thing he shows genuine interest in is power and Alastor

even with the other Vees, he's distant and muted- he doesn't really seem to engage with them, not deeply, or particularly happily- he does care about them, i think, considering he's willing to 'let his guard down', (which is a whole 'nother post, and only vaguely something i mentioned here) but i'd wager he finds the whole thing dull

Vox is stuck in a rut. he's bored, he straight up says fuck my life, and then follows that up with putting on a fake ass smile for the masses. up until Alastor is thrown back into the mix, Vox's whole demeanour screams fake

and then Alastor is back and Vox is emotive. he's excited, he's interested, he's energetic. yeah, the whole thing is based on some bitter ex drama, and it's probably not, like, healthy- but he's actually consistently acting alive

compare his whole music sequence with the way he's acting before Alastor's whole ass came back, and there is such a stark difference. he's all over the fucking place, he's borderline manic, whereas before he just- he was very obviously bored

you can even see some of this when you compare the brief glance of Vox and Val during Angel's song, and then with the episode 8 song

i think Alastor is the only thing in Vox's life he actively cares about, at this point. it's the only thing that interests him, that captivates him, and oh boy, i cannot wait to see more of them in season 2

Zestial’s exceptionally charming when he wants something, notably not asking when he presents you with the crisply wrapped gifts. There’s no less than twenty. Boxes upon boxes of accessories and clothes that suit you but hold his color palette, spider and web details to boot. He’s utterly thrilled when you wear them, showering you in compliments and declaring himself the luckiest soul in Hell

Goodness, have you seen how sinners nowadays go about the whole ordeal? What happened to romance!? Call her old fashioned, but Rosie likes a smidge of glamour in her techniques! She’ll walk shoulder to shoulder with you, holding her parasail over the both of you. She’ll accidentally press her painted lips on your cheek and forget, quickly getting swept up into conversation with someone or the other. It’s fine, no one would question her! Not if they wanted to live anyways. Butterflies swarm her stomach when she notices you haven’t wiped her imprint away, a proud smile spreading across her face. It becomes purposeful as the days go on

While happy to broadcast newsworthy exploits, sharing his private affairs with the world is out of the question. Of course the appeal of it all isn’t lost on him, he merely doesn’t see the point. Besides, nothing less than something permanent could truly satisfy him anyhow

Only the insecure need to put a claim on their person. That’s not Vox, no way! You’re never really out of his sights anyways, what with today’s power of technology and all! The need to brand you goes a different route. He wants everyone to know you’re spoken for, pulling you on camera every chance he gets. He wants them to stare in awe and envy but cast their eyes down when you walk by in public. A slight on you would be a slight on him personally and no one messes with The Vees

Truthfully, there isn’t much she wouldn’t do. You’re all over her Sinstagram and that says it all. Every runway show, every red carpet walk, every paparazzi shot you’re always beside her. Vel dresses you left and right to match her OOTD somehow. She snaps a pic every single day (sometimes more) to show her followers their favorite couple is thriving and stylish as always! The description never fails to scream how your all hers

having now spent more time with you vox couldn't help but develop a small crush on you

until he noticed vox stutter when asking you a question

now this piqued his interest, why would his confident,let's face it cocky, lover stumble over his words while speaking to you

sure you were attractive and popular but compared to many other sinners you were so boring

he had to know what made you so special so he asked you out to velvette and vox's shared horror

but the vees share so they couldn't exactly say no

and him being an overlord you couldn't say no

neither vox nor velvette wanted to fall behind as they started taking you on more outings

the three of them were a team but having a shared goal they grew competitive

fighting amongst us each other would end terribly so after lots of jealousy and conspiring they agreed to share their conquest

you went from just joining them at their jobs to movie nights all snuggled up

as all three were quite busy and powerful overlords, they made a schedule with each other for time with you with an agreement they'd all spend their nights with you

your freewill was completely gone but you can't deny becoming their pet secured protection and and a reputation

Part 2

I woke up on the cold streets in the middle of nowhere.. " Where am i.." Holding my head trying to stand up, taking a look around, seeing creatures everywhere. " What the.." I blinked a few times not believing my eyes. I turned my head and saw a shop with mirrors and took a look at my reflection.

shocked to see my own reflection.. White with red marks on my body.. then i turned around and asked a girl "Little girl can you tell me where i am?" The little girl just laughed. " You're new around here?" She took a drink of her milkshake. I just nodded.

" Wel.. Welcome to hell! " She laughed walking away from me " Goodluck newbie" I stood there in shock.

How did I end up here? Wat.. it was that bastard.. looking at my red spots indicating wounds. It's all his fault...I felt my knees get weak as I fell down on them next to the shop.

I don't know How many hours have passed by but out of nowhere a girl walked by me taking an interest in me. "let me guess.. your new?" She said chewing her gum looking at her phone.. she's probably addicted. I nodded.

" You've got good bone structure and a taste in fashion.." She cupped my face looking at it.. " You wanna work for me?" she let go letting me stand up. I took a look at her clothing and thought it must be an influencer or something.

" Whatcha say dear... I need a yes or no." She said firmly and I nodded without saying anything. "Follow me." As she walked away I followed her.

Walking into a building called VoxTech? Following her into the elevator as she presses the highest button and scans the card. "Names Velvette.." She checked her phone again, typing away.

"My name is Y/N." I fidgeted my hands anxiously. The elevator door opens revealing a room filled with Photos of her and 2 other guys.

"VOX VAL! get your asses here" She yelled into her phone. Dramatic much.

Seeing a spark out of a tv turn into a guy with a tv head while the other was nowhere to be found. "VAL NO JOKES!" She yelled as smoke entered the room. Turning into a man with 4 arms.

" This is the girl i was talking about.. take a look at her" she walked off sitting on the couch nearby checking her phone.

" And what do we have here.." taking a look at me while he checks me out breathing smoke into my shoulders feeling his breath giving me shivers, "your a pretty one aren't you.." feeling his breath closer to me M" Doll..." walking to his desk. "And what is your talent?" The TV headed guy asked me. "i.." Speechless as I left a shaky breath shivering.

"No time for chit chat.. I'll figure her talent out, follow me me newbie" velvette said walking to the room, opening the door revealing a whole wardrobe " FIrst let's get you dressed.. Cant have them see you with us wearing normie clothes can we.." She smirked, pushing me in the room. " Pick one.. I'll be outside." I looked at the clothes, feeling fine silky clothes. None of them caught my interest.

Looking in the mirror at the end of the room touching my clothes that I currently have on. Imagining the clothes i used to wear. and suddenly my hands start to glow. and they started to make the clothes i was thinking off. and soon I was holding them.

20 Minutes passed and I heard a knock " R you done yet dear.." I opened the door walking out in baggy jeans with a Crop top with a window revealing my cleavage a bit and a Jacket with fur. White boots to match the white bag.

" You look fabulous dear.. Where did you get these? I don't have these in my small closet.." I finally let go of her phone pointing at my clothes.

" I think i figured out my talent.." showing her my hands. " Welcome to the Vees my dear.."
