Fun lil tidbit, in Faerûn lore Ellifain is actually a female moon elf that was obsessed with vengeance and only in death did she realise the person she wanted to kill was her saviour (also she never managed to kill Drizzt. Yeah, she tried to kill that guy). Her family also died in front of her when she was young.

My guy chose that name himself. If you need any idea of how fucked up that man is. Well, in case him murdering people in wildly fucked up and rather graphic ways very often wasn't enough of a hint. My origins lie in creepypasta alright I'm a sucker for some horror and gore.

He will eventually go back to using the name his family gave him but there's a lot of prerequisites for that and he isn't checking those yet.

I think it's worth noting that NONE of the humans have names yet but the white cat? Her name is Jezebel. And her human man loves her very, very much. And always refers to her formally by name. Whether simply Jezebel, Lady Jezebel, Master Jezebel, etc. But his wife calls her Jez sometimes and he's like "I can't believe the most important women in my life are so close. I'm so lucky, honey. I love you both"

Also their eyes all have a sort of uniqueness to them! Even the top guy who has regular looking pupils has a lore behind it.

#my characters #this is pretty much the only thing i worked on while away LMAO #also is it important to point out how accidentally i peaked at the husbands design #cause i definitely knew i was doing +/- for the married couples eyes #but I only realized AFTER the fact that a cats slit pupils combined with the wifes - pupils #are basically what makes a + sign and that is super peak for me on accident #also is it worth noting at all to anyone but me that i had to fucking search the internet to find out if humans are able to eat cat treats #with no consequences to their body because i want this man to give his cat a treat and eat one himself like its gogurt #the answer is apparently yeah you CAN technically eat a creamy cat treat but its not a sufficient source of nutrients to ya #though thats only for some idk about all #long post #i forgot i should probably tag it that #sorry for dropping a singular fanart then this mess of incomplete oc'ing

i am being so brave trying so hard to hold back writing a rant about that 'minimizing narrative noise' comment on totk sage concept art bc its actively flying around in my head like the worlds most annoying fly

i think one of my many gripes about being a girl is being expected to know certain things and then being scolded for not knowing things. i am expected to know how to set the tv on its stand or on the wall when i was never allowed to even touch it beyond its side controls five minutes before i was asked to fix it. i am expected to know how to fix a computer's system unit when i was told off from touching anything aside the power button growing up. i am expected to know how a multitude of other things work when i was always scolded for asking questions or trying to open up my toys to see their working when growing up. i am expected to know how to set up a house from scratch, that springs belong with foam in a sofa, how to set up an internet connection, how to take off a wall socket and fix the wiring behind it, and so on when i was not allowed anything beyond setting up the kitchen, turning the wifi router on/off, and never answered when i asked why some plugs have two pins while some have three.

#not to mention that i was scolded when my credit card details got stolen just a few days ago #i was never even taught how finances work let alone a bank account #i was alone in a foreign country googling bank basics and the difference between a debit and credit card right before i leftbehind my teens #all i knew was how to serve food in a room full of people because apparently thats more important than basic life skills #how can you forget to raise a child to survive alone in the world and then get mad at the child for that later on #same with the washing machine. i was told i should only know how to operate it then got scolded for not knowing how to set it up #im not joking when i say i feel like i was cheated out of life #never even got to play outside except for a few times and now i feel out of place in nature #i cant even touch a tree without feeling like im touching some kind of alien #there is so much to do in life. so much to heal. so much to fix. and so little time.#zuri rambles #when i get my own house im gonna fix and set up everything by myself and i am going to be brave about it

#i have to move back to my hometown due to a mistake. a misunderstanding. and being too trusting in others ideas #and my boyfriend is moving an hour away as well. neither of us have been able to get a car or license yet due to money and i dont know when #we can see eachother again after we both move. since we started dating weve been sleeping in the same bed because we were/are roommates #just being gone for the weekend in my hometown is hard because i cant stand to be here but its worse because hes not in my bed every night #ive grown so used to falling alseep in his arms that i dont know what to do at night. i dont feel safe without his arms holding me #ive never felt safe where ive lived before. ive never felt safe in a relationship. ive never felt loved for who i am. that was until him.#now i feel safe in our home. i feel safe in our relationship. i feel loved for who i am. and now we have to be so far apart.#ive done long distance before but this is going to hurt so much my cat loves him she is super cautious and scared around new people but #she loved him since the start. not to mention shes my esa so that really mattered to me. he wants to move with me but it isnt happening #he got definite housing an hour away for super cheap in a town where he knows everyone and i have possible in a town where im surrounded by #people i know but am terrified of. im scared to move back here but have no choice. unless i make that terrifying choice of going with him.#the apartment he is getting is a two bedroom. id only have a studio. hes offered for me to come but im scared to move that far away again #i want to be with him but im scared to move to a whole new town with him. i know hes an amazing guy but we'd be moving away from my friends #and family. i already have to move away from all my friends if i go back to my hometown but this would be a different story.#moving to a whole new town with a guy that i only started dating 2 months ago? like yes. i lived with him previously and knew him for longer #than we dated but im still scared. i think rightfully so. but still.#but there are some pros to moving with him. hometown has no music scene and his town does and thats really important to me.#we'd also be close to his family. but farther from mine. hed be around friends and id have none no matter where i go.#idk im just rambling but i really needed to vent. i lost my best friend recently to the point of them siding with strangers almost and they #helped them break and enter into the house to intimidate me and bf and then a few days later came with cops after saying repeatedly that #they were an anarchist and acab but only when they dont use them apparently. because i guess morals/values only matter when its convenient #im so tired though but i cant sleep so i might write some cringe poetry and try to chill out before going on a late night/early morning walk #tag vent #vent in tags
