Astro Observations: Lunar Return Chart I

Hii! That's a very good question! So Lunar Return Chart is pretty similar to Solar Return Chart, except that it is focused on the moon. While the Sun takes a year to come back, the Moon takes a month, so your Lunar Return Chart change every month. It will tell you how your month will go, what will most likely happen. I have never been through a lot of Lunar RC but I will try yo make an observation post now! I hope you will like it :)

Summary - It's that time of the month, and the first time you've gone through it while around Maul. His instincts take over, and a whole new side of him is revealed to you.

Talk of periods of course, and Maul being both OOC and downright weird. 🫶 Enjoy.

It had come to soon, nearly a week early in fact. Normally (Y/n) was prepared for it, and made sure to avoid Maul during this time. She'd heard stories about how these things can sometimes effect different species. And while she didn't know how he would react, she figured it would be best to avoid the Sith. However this time, she wasn't prepared, this time the cramps hurt bad enough to distract her from the fact that Maul was near. Groggily she trudged into the kitchen, hoping to get a nice cup of tea, and a snack to sate her growing appetite. Really she should have expected this to happen sooner or later, after all there was no way she could keep this hidden from Maul forever.

The instant she walked into the kitchen, she was cornered by Maul. The Zabrak could sense something was off about (Y/n). Instinctively he started sniffing at her, his black and crimson nose burying against her neck first. "What are you doing?" (Y/n) giggled softly, his nose tickling her skin as he trailed his nose down to her collarbones. He didn't respond, or even react as if he'd heard her. Instead he continued to sniff at her, trying to find the source of whatever had caught his attention. He knelt down as he trailed down her stomach, his nose burying harshly against her lower abdomen, where he continued to sniff deeply. (Y/n) was frozen in place, unable to form a single thought. Suddenly he dipped lower and sniffed deeply. (Y/n)'s hands shook with anxiety when he moved again, this time his nose pushed against her clothed sex. He inhaled deeply, his glowing eyes fluttering closed.

(Y/n) squeaked and jumped back, feeling extremely anxious now. "What are you doing!?" She hissed at him, her heart hamming in her chest. His eyes peeled open, as his hands moved to hold (Y/n)'s waist, leaving her at an arms length. "You're bleeding." Maul stated in a calm tone, his voice somehow deeper than normal. "Wha-? Y-yeah it's... Normal... I'm okay." She stammered in embarrassment, unsure if the Zabrak was familiar with periods. A growl rumbled in his chest and he suddenly rose to his feet, again making (Y/n) shudder with anxiety. "What are you-?" Maul cut her off and swiftly tossed her onto his shoulder. The sudden pressure on her abdomen made her cry out in pain. And in an instant the Zabrak hand pulled her off of his shoulder, and cradled her in his arms. "Forgive me little one." He said in a soft tone, walking out of the kitchen with large strides. (Y/n) couldn't form a single thought, unsure of what the Sith had in store for her.

Now inside his personal chambers, Maul sat (Y/n) down gently on the lounge against the far wall. "Stay." He grumbled before moving to his bed. Meticulously he began bunching up the blankets and pillows, then he moved to his wardrobe and pulled out all of his robes, which he dumped onto his bed. Adjusting and fluffing them until he was satisfied with what he'd made. (Y/n) watched him with curiosity, wondering why he appeared to be building a nest of sorts on his bed. Her eyes wide with curiosity and anxiety, she watched as Maul crossed the room once more. Wordlessly he scooped her into his arms, and carried her to his bed. Gently he laid her down in the center of the nest, his scent enveloping her and bringing her a sense of comfort. "Stay here, rest." Maul murmured as he nuzzled his nose into her hair, kissing her crown before leaving her to rest in his nest.

Maul left her without any explanation, and while she had been anxious, she found herself relaxing. He hadn't done anything to her, except offer her a comforting place to relax. A short while later Maul returned, bringing with him a soothing root tea, and a warm bowl of stew with fresh bread. "Eat." He instructed, spoon feeding her, as he sat beside her on the edge of his nest. "What are you doing?" (Y/n) asked after she swallowed her bite. "Helping you." He said before holding the bread out to her. She took a bite, humming at the taste. "I mean I get that, but why?" She asked before sipping the tea he offered her. "Is that not what a mate is supposed to do?" He asked casually as he continued to feed her. (Y/n) was stunned suddenly. Sure they were close, and sometimes shared rather intimate moments. But she never suspected that Maul saw her as a mate. "I-I suppose." She murmured, a warm feeling blooming in her chest. "Are you not satisfied?" Maul asked with an intense look in his eyes.

"N-no no of course I'm satisfied, this is really nice actually. I'm just surprised is all." She admitted with s small chuckle. "Why are you surprised?" Maul asked. "I just... I didn't realize that you saw me as your mate." (Y/n) felt herself blush, loving that Maul felt deeply enough for her to consider her a mate. Maul hummed in his throat. "Well now you know. You're mine." He smiled at her, his sharp teeth on display. (Y/n) mirrored his smile, feeling euphoric and fuzzy. "And I am yours." He added before moving to nuzzle his nose against her cheek. "Yes." (Y/n) hummed, forgetting about her cramping abdomen. Maul purred at her words, setting aside the now empty bowl, he joined her in the nest. Wordlessly he pulled her into his hold, the warmth of his body soothing. Still he continued to purr, his large hands rubbing soothingly along the length of her back. If (Y/n) had known that being around Maul during her period would result in this, she would have done so months ago. Having been pining for the Zabrak since they first met. "Rest now my mate, I will still be here when you wake." Maul said in a soft tone, making (Y/n) hum in content, as her eyes lulled closed.

27. i’m not the moon (1.1k wrdc)

“Welcome homeeeeee!” You yelled once you both entered the beach house. The house was quiet since your friends were currently out drinking, but that didn’t stop Jaemin’s eyes going wide at your unexpected volume.

“Can we go to the pool? I want to swim.”

“How about we get comfortable, I can still feel the sand on me from earlier.” He looked down at his clothes that were semi full of sand.

The laugh you let out pulled his attention from himself back to you. You always looked so pretty but especially when you were laughing. That’s why he had a hard time concentrating on the volleyball game from earlier, or at least what he told minjeong who had lots to tease him about while everyone went to get ice cream.

Jaemin wasn’t an idiot either, he noticed the way your stature changed earlier in the day and when you and karina walked away for a moment. Nothing affected him more than the look on your face in that moment. It seemed almost like dread or fear but mainly it was like you were trying to hold yourself back.

It wasn’t a good feeling and he knew that, that’s why he just had to follow you afterwards. He didn’t need to know the cause, he just needed to make sure that you wouldn’t end the night without your perfect contagious smile.

“Your eyes are really pretty.”

He hadn’t noticed the trance he’d been in while facing you. He also hadn’t noticed how close you’d gotten to him, observing him as if he was some type of science experiment.

“Very bright, kinda like the stars we saw earlier,” You spoke again. Even if he couldn’t see you, he would’ve heard the smile in your voice. He felt his cheeks get warm at the compliment.

“If i’m a star you’re the galaxy.” He said truthfully. If you were the sun he would’ve revolved around you as venus or some other planet, and if you were the earth he would’ve done just the same as the moon. You didn’t know it yet but Na Jaemin was wrapped around your finger, proudly.

“Wow my heart fluttered a bit.” You touched to your heart and laughed, walking over to the couch before tossing yourself onto it. Immediately grabbing the remote to check what was on the TV.

“I’m gonna go change really quickly.” You nodded from your spot on the couch, very focused on finding a source of entertainment.

Jaemin stepped into the room he would be sharing with Jeno, it of course still being empty. He ran straight to the bathroom after grabbing his luggage.

A quick rinse would be just the thing to get rid of the way his heart couldn’t stop pounding, or at least that’s what he’d hope. He didn’t even have much to drink and yet his entire self couldn’t stop the warm feeling he got just from being around you.

He thought back to when all of your friends had been getting ready to leave the restaurant and find a new place to get drinks. The way you had been whining about not being able to leave since he was ‘missing’. He had left to go pay for everyone’s meal secretly, though it was hard to do when you were the only person to notice his absence.

He walked his way back to the table, you immediately spotted him and ran over to him. Chenle and Karina hadn’t noticed as they were mid conversation.

“Where did you go? I thought I lost you.” You looked up at him with worried eyes. You looked so damn cute he couldn’t hold back a smile.

“I’m here.”

“Well come on, we have to go!” You had linked his arm in yours. “They’ll close if we don’t get there on time.”

“What will close?”

You let go of his arm and rolled your eyes. You were still so damn cute when you were annoyed. “The convenience store.”

“Don’t they stay open twenty four hours?”

You groaned at his response. “I don’t care we have to go now.” You were whining now, and to him you still looked so damn cute.

He was about to speak before you turned around and started towards the door. “What are you doing?”

“You can come with or not Jae, but i’m going anyway.” You said before running off. He quickly followed after, not expecting you to be such a fast runner. You were very full of surprises.

He let out a sigh as he turned off the shower, changing into a more comfortable pair of clothes. Before heading out of the bathroom he looked into the mirror. A shower didn’t stop the way his heart was beating contrary to his beliefs.

Once he found himself back in the living room he found you sat on the couch, you must’ve changed when he was in the shower cause you were wearing a random baggy t-shirt and some hello kitty pajama pants.

He must’ve made a sound cause you turned to face his direction, chip bowl in the middle of your lap. “Come on Jae, they’re playing some movie with this guy who’s awake during surgery or something.”

He felt butterflies at the unexpected nickname you had used twice on him tonight. He tried to shake them off as he seated himself next to you.

“They don’t know he’s awake though, creepy right?” You offered him some chips in the bowl and he accepted.

“I’ve heard that could happen.” Your eyes widened in fear. He instantly felt regret in his words. “It’s not common though so really it’s nothing to worry about.”

“Too late now anytime i’m in the hospital i’m going to be thinking about the possibility.” You said with a sour face.

“Do you find yourself in the hospital often?”

“Touché.”

“Come on, don’t worry your pretty little head. Let’s just watch the movie.”

“Okay but if you’re there with me my next hospital visit I expect you shaking me to check if the anesthesia works.” You shrugged looking back at the movie.

“Then i’d look insane?” He said holding back a laugh.

“That’s your problem not mine, now shush i’m trying to focus here.”

The movie was hard to pay attention to especially with how close you were. It seemed like drunk y/n had no sense of proximity, though Jaemin wasn’t complaining. You leaned on him during the film, chip bowl back in your arms, occasionally offering him some.

Jaemin tried not to be selfish but he couldn’t stop himself from wanting this moment to last forever. So instead of putting distance between you both he allowed himself to have this, if only for tonight.

URGENT: HELP A YOUNG PALESTINIAN FAMILY ESCAPE GENOCIDE

I fear for my friend Ahmed and his family every time his campaign slows down -- will GoFundMe delete it before they reach their goal? Will the bank stop supporting transfers? Will the border open before he has enough to escape, and he and his wife and three little children be trapped in Gaza under threat of zionist extermination? And I hate having to tell Ahmed when my appeals aren't doing anything to help move along contributions because it depends on the generosity of others -- that people can't find it in their hearts to give to his family.

At €32,424, his campaign is so, so close to its short term goal of €35,000, and even its overall goal of €40,000. If you haven't looked at it before the Halloween Bestiary is a thing I've done for a few years now where I talk about obscure or lesser known Halloween creatures, most often totally nameless ones that exist only as a merchandise phenomenon - like sentient doorbells, owl-shaped things that obviously aren't owls at all, nonhumanoid mummies and so on. The only rule is I have to have seen at least three different examples, even if that's all I ever ran across! - the pumpkins incorporating metal junk for instance were only common one year, for some reason, and have been very rare ever since. This year's entry was doll-headed spiders, and at the end of the article are links to all past entries. There's 27 of them in all! It'll be something special when we get to 31 of them.

You dug your nails into his shoulders and clenched down on him.

“Fuck,” Jake grunted. When you released him, he clutched your thighs and lifted slightly out of the chair, beginning to quickly thrust in and out of you. You could hear his panting increase and you knew he was close. “Tell me you’re not on anything.”

“I-I’m not,” you breathed.

He bucked his hips up a few more times until he stilled, letting out a loud groan into your ear as he held you in a tight grip. You dug your teeth into your bottom lip and closed your eyes, enjoying the feeling of the warmth that was coating your insides. You grasped his hair in between your fingers when you heard him emit a soft mewl of a moan and felt his fingers clawing into your back, marking your skin with half-moon indentations. 

When he was done, he sat back into the chair and attempted to catch his breath. You waited a moment before carefully attempting to move to get up, but he immediately stopped you. “No,” burst out of him. You froze, not sure what prompted his reaction but you could hear the panic lacing the edge of the harsh command. Jake never panicked. He blew out a breath and buried his head into your shoulder, tightening his embrace around you as he spoke more softly into your ear, “No. Please stay, baby. Just…stay.” Your eyes began to blur with the building tears at his words; he sounded like the Jake you had always known. The boy with the bright eyes and soft smile who always made you laugh and showed you kindness when you seemed to need it most. You missed this Jake.

“Okay,” you choked out in a whisper and settled back into him.

He seemed to relax at that and pressed a kiss to the spot of skin underneath your ear in appreciation.

Why I think the Saturn Return is Overblown and Over-rated

The Saturn return is the MOST over-rated thing shared in amateur astrology.

There, I said it. I felt a weight on my chest for so long and it was time to release it. I always see people discuss how the Saturn return is the most difficult experience people will face in their lives (in their late 20's.) I will tell you, it is not necessarily the case at all. The common idea is Saturn relates to "Ambition, Hard Work, and Painful Growth." This is not true. I will reflect on why. Saturn is the great enemy of the Sun. Great enemies in Astrology have a way of reflecting the opposition's way of doing things, and this is why the planets do not get along. When people say the Saturn return is about ambition, hard work, and painful growth, what they are really talking about is the Sun (and really, all enemies of Saturn including Mars, Moon and Rahu.)

In terms of the Saturn Return, the people are really indicating the weighted power of Saturn during the return transits weighing on their Sun (soul.) This period raises levels of Saturn and makes their solar nature (and other hard-working planets) take a back seat. This is tough for so many people because we are burdened with being solar-focused from our youth and school days, aspiring to build our kingdoms through self-actualizing, and building an individual role we play in this world.

What isn't producing and making the best use of your time needs to be let go. Career beginnings, relationships, and hobbies going nowhere are all things that could be wasting your time and have to be released. What Saturn is doing during its return is trying to lighten the load. Cool you off if you will. Sun is about doing things alone. Now Saturn in return is installing a heavy dose of the reality that nothing can be truly done alone. You get so far on your own, but you truly need to share the load and delegate responsibility to open more time up to focus on yourself. The above highlites why Saturn loves the 7th house so much by the way. The 7th house is the marriage house and the start of the objective part of the horoscope. In a way, Saturn's return is about opening the 7th house away from the self-focused first house. If you do everything alone you will burn out. However, by having a marriage or business partner you share the responsibility, costs, and efforts and open more time up for yourself. Calling all Landcon 7 shippers

Landcon is happening April 26 -27, 2025 : that is, of course a full week-end for us. But many will be coming to Paris earlier and/or leaving later, so here is the deal:

As you all know, I thought a nice, no frills International Shipper Dinner would be a great idea to meet, hug and celebrate. Now I know there is also that (rather expensive) cosplay ultra secret dinner with the cast, but I doubt all of us will book it, for many reasons. A nice pizza joint near our hotels has been mentioned and I think it could be fun and very easy to organize - if you have any other venue in mind, please mention it in the comments and we will decide together.

At the same time, I wanted to honor both this whole experience and our shipper community, so I felt something more could be done, if we all agree to it. Paris has been home to me for a long while and I am (also) a historian with a deep passion for and knowledge of the Eighteenth century. A 'Dragonfly in Amber' tour of Paris would have been a bit too much to digest, however, and difficult to organize. But I think a half day tour of Versailles is manageable and could be both enriching and fun.

The more being the merrier, I think renting a van with driver is achievable and not too expensive. I will do the talk, in full transparency. We will discuss all the offers together and settle for the best one. I will never ask you for anything else: this is not how I work and this is my way to thank you.

The reason I am proposing to rent a van is obvious: it is easier to coordinate the group and it takes less time, as there is no direct public transport link between Courbevoie and Versailles:

It would take us at least one hour/leg, with quite some walking and it will require us to change two trams and (perhaps) one bus also, depending on traffic. However, if you decide this is something achievable, why not?

To make this very clear, I compared the prices for a round trip with a rented vehicle (different types, depending of how many of us would join the group). The company is randomly picked on Google, it's the first offer that I could see online, without waiting for an email:

So a round trip with van and driver could cost anywhere from 108 euros/pax to 19 euros/pax (unrealistic, perhaps, as we would have to be 59 for that). Again: the more, the merrier.

Using the public transportation network is, indeed, less expensive, as a Navigo Day Ticket (unlimited trips on the entire network) will cost 20.60 euros:
