Do yall think sometimes Siffrin does normal human things that make sense but are deeply unsettling when you remember they dont remember their childhood. Like do you think Siffrin once woke up startled and shouted "Oh SHIT MY HOMEWORK" and scared Mirabelle who went to wake him up? Or they complained about not wanting to eat certain things cause it made them sick and their parents were upset about it when they were a child? Or they see a stuffed animal and buy it for Bonnie cause they wished they still had their stuffed animals when they were Bonnie's age? Or he sings a lullaby to himself when trying to fall asleep and Isa asks for its name and Siffrin just kind of shrugs and says it was what his mom used to sing for him? Just so normal and deeply ingrained but forgotten? Like I think that would be fucked up, yall think its fucked up? Oh yeah! I was literally talking with Kym about this earlier, there's something there that also adds to the way everything about bt ends coming down to sex because there is no depth. I have literally said this about a hundred times since 705 aired, that I don't understand why Tommy likes Buck beyond the fact that Buck is hot and we are coming back to this. Everything about Buck has always been about what his body has to offer. Even coming down to why he was born. But not with Eddie. Eddie loves all of Buck. Loves him to the core even. This is gonna be a nice chain of events, I think. Let Buck figure out he has worth for more than his body.

yeah <///3 before tt03 they had met like once ever (and it went poorly) so to get rose on his side slade injected her with a super soldier serum

in #0.5 he kidnaps her after buying a hit on her (many such cases) and goes "cmon rose we can be a family lets be a family <3333" and she agrees (because shes angry and slade is the one handing her a weapon to kill the man that killed her mother)

then theyre on the same side for a while! the first time we hear about the serum (and iirc only time its specifically mentioned while shes being drugged) is in #12 (BART 🥺)

we also see some flashbacks in fresh hell of slade giving her the serum too

anyways then she joins the team and everything is alright (lie). this is the first confirmation that she was being drugged, plus also showing that shes staying on the team just bc shes afraid slade will get her again :(

in any story that takes place from 2003-2006 that includes rose & slade (bg #63-64, nightwing #112-115, etc), rose is being drugged :(

basically the writers needed an explanation for why she would choose to work with slade and wanted an excuse for why she would be able to join the titans later on and honestly? rare johns banger. this plotline fucks to me. completely defines rose's relationship with slade and gives her a concrete reason to hate him but also have very complicated feelings about her place in his life ouuughhhh
