1. How do they fall asleep? Wake up? Any daily rituals?

Fue does work longer hours than she does, partly because he doesn't want to overburden her by assigning more than the necessary amount of tasks to her, but also partly because he wants to be able to just come 'home', or their room, and be greeted with warmth instead of having to potentially wait for her to arrive. And sometimes this leads into her already being in bed, sound asleep when he comes back, even if he knows that she doesn't particularly like it when he works into the wee hours of the morning, and usually she has come around to remind him to get some rest as well, before she actually goes to bed herself.

However, when they are going to sleep at the same time, they usually just loiter in bed for some time, less than half an hour and just talk, or read, or simply listen to the silence. After that they'll cuddle for a while, but because Fue is warm, sleeping like that would quite simply be too hot for him, which is why they have a cuddle session separately. After that they'll kiss each other good night, and tell each other that they love one and another. Each and every night.

Because if they say it only once a day, it's right before going to sleep. It's a good moment to just stop and tell it to the other, remind them that they are loved. And that's a routine for them, but it doesn't feel like one.

18. What are their dates like? How long do/did they date? Do they ever feel the need to take a break from each other?

Their "formal dates" are usually going to a restaurant, or have a "private function" just for the two of them at a bar. It's Fue's way of making a point to set time for one and another outside of the castle and base, and get around the town every once in a while. But more casual dates can be just a walk in the garden, or nature around the Capitol walls if the weather allows it. If not, then having a glass of wine in their room, and just existing, talking, playing a game of some kind is a perfectly good "home date". Because a date is essentially about setting time aside for each other.

The question of how long did they date, really depends on where one draws the line, but they were together for a couple years prior to getting married. Some might have called it hasted, but honestly, by that point they had been through so much together that they were certain. And it felt natural for them.

Like any other, they do need time for themselves every once in a while, but missions, or weekends spent in the company of their friends function as enough time spent alone, after which they're more than happy to come back to their spouse. So, they do need some alone time, but not a lot.

31. Do they finish each other’s sentences? Pick up any phrases or habits from each other? Know when the other is hiding something?

They do finish each other's sentences, and can pick up fairly easily when the other is hiding something or upset about something. It's this kind of silent attunement that they have, where sometimes the other is able to pick up on so subtle movements and tones in the pure being of the other, that it seems almost like mind reading. But it's not, it's just about knowing the other well.

She has a habit of teasing him by finishing his sentences, but in doing so she usually speaks on top of him, because she can't exactly finish the sentence for him if she doesn't. And sometimes he does the same to her. He also gives little pecks to the tip of her nose at times, which he has picked up from her.

In turn, she picks up on some phrases that he uses, which aren't wrong in Cloverian, but they might sound overly poised. She might not, at times, realize it, but even after/if it's pointed out, she doesn't stop because... she doesn't really want to. Generally speaking she grows more grounded, in a sense, because she used to be a bit more free spirited, but as she's settling down with him, she does become more grounded.

A year and two days ago, I came back to the writing arena with Tomorrow Will Come, a post-canon oneshot that wasn't supposed to spawn four sequels after it, and the crazy talented and wonderful @annawayne gifted me this T_T

I don't want to sound like I'm tooting my own horn, because fic writers come and go, and there are many who've been in the AA fandom for years - but all the same, I just want to say, I'm happy I started writing again and returned to Tumblr. I've met so many wonderful people on here (you know exactly who all you are), and it doesn't feel like a year, more like a lifetime, and there is nowhere else I'd rather be. So... I'm glad this fic was the one that half brought me here.

!!!! YESYES Oh oooh oh and I HC. Sethos would like study in Akademiya (I mean.. he considers it) and in Spantamad darshan, the same as Cyno's ! And when Cyno would learn this, oooh I believe he would be excited! Morever, some are made during Archon quest (Alhaitham, Dehya, Candace), it is like we see how their friendship grown and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I am sure Sethos was surprised to not see Cyno alone. Like, he came with friends (tighnari traveler) for a personal problem ! When you read Sethos's mind when Tighnari and Cyno was together, he said something that yeah, they cared for each other. they both run through a lot together. (sorry it is in french...)

It is like a conclusion of his own question "Why he is not alone?" especially for Sethos who might thought (AGAIN IT IS ALL HW SINCE SETHOS IS NOT OUT YET KSDFKSDKF) than Cyno might be like him, since they have similar duty since their childhood. And then, after the fight, he finally UNDERSTAND why he is not alone.

More than "oh they've been throught a lot together, it is only logical to come in a conclusion that's Cyno didn't come alone", it is now "that's how genuine friendship is, they trust each other. Like them, we can fight together and support each other in difficult moment", because even if Cyno and Sethos didn't know each other for this long, Cyno was THERE when it was difficult for him (even if he didn't to). CYNO PULLING THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP HEUEHEUE In this exact moment, Sethos taste what a genuine friendship is ! He is not alone, but I think people temple of silence tend to more worshipp him than considering him as a person (that's why he did a lot of introspection. I stan for not alone Sethos, but still feel lonely) I need. Sethos. To meet. All Sumeru Crew !!!

Moze was known for being sneaky and basically invisible, since barely anyone sees him while he sees everyone and everything. It might be creepy to think about, but this didn't intimidate you at all. Rather the opposite - this was one of the reasons why you became interested in him.

But your beloved would've never guessed that you can be the sneaky type too. At first, you sneaked into his heart slowly and carefully - and now you are sneaking sweet little messages on sticky notes everywhere he could see them.

Be it in his lunchbox, in his trouser pockets, on his daggers,.. everywhere he would find a sweet message like “Remember that you are so, so loved by me, Moze! ❤️” which he certainly wasn't used to seeing, but he didn't mind it in one bit.

He actually adores it and they became one of his favorite parts of the day - besides the part where he would see you.

So don't be surprised when you find a sticky note with the message “I love you, Evie.” one day too, and of course - he would've sneaked it into your lunchbox, too while watching your reaction in the shadows, slightly smiling to himself.

Imagine the Tails Polycule in the death of the sonic the hedgehog game.

So, I'm going to interpret as if they (prime!polycule I assume) were inserted into the game to join the main cast, and I'll start with placement first

(Game spoilers ahead)

Shadow, Knuckles, and Sonic all start out being the only person in their respective cars (not including the conductor in this). Since we have 3 foxes to place, I think it's best to just spread them out among these 3 cars (the Saloon, the lounge car, and the conductor's car)

My decided placements are as follows:

Sails – the Saloon car with Knuckles

Nine - the lounge car with Shadow

Mangey - the conductor's car with Sonic and the Conductor

And with that, the following are their roles and brief backstories (to fit with the theme of the murder mystery party):

Sails – Bartender

He's a bartender at the Saloon the town sheriff (Knuckles) frequents. He doesn't particularly have the passion for bartending, but it’s due to his (now passed) elderly boss's getting him this job that saved him from a worse life, so he can't complain too much. His real passion lies in his contraption making, which only his coworkers and the Sheriff knows about. While he tries to be decent at his job and maintan a friendly exterior for the customers, you can occasionally spot him leaning over the bar counter with a bored look on his face. He also enjoys a good riddle.

Nine – Programmer

The programer is married to his job (developing new robots that exist to help vulnerable people). After he happened to win an all expenses paid vacation in the lottery, his boss forced him out of the office to take the vacation in question, and he reluctantly complied. He has a hard time sitting still and relaxing, which results in him often working on something when not on the clock. Because of this, he took his Bits with him on vacation to tinker with. He doesn't like it when his work is interrupted and can be a bit prickly, but he can't suppress his excitement or interest in machines or programs he's never seen. Coincidentally, the only person on the train he recognizes is the locksmith (Shadow), who he shares a bit of a bitter (or bittersweet?) past with.

Mangey – Co-captain

He met the captain (Sonic) in college and the two have been attached at the hip since. While easily mistaken as Captain and assistant (since the co-captain often runs errands for or assists the captain), in truth the co-captain functions both as backup and a support partner. Should the captain have complications, it's up to the co-captain to step into his role, and if the captain needs to make a hard decision or needs assistance with something difficult, the co-captain is who he asks first. They are partners who rely on each other, and good friends.

Now, for the game itself, each of the main characters had a set of movements, other people they talked to, and things they did, so these three would be no different.

At this point I actually started plotting out the movements of each of our 3 additional characters and how they shift the story and add to it. However, once I'd done enough work I'd realized I'd come out of this ask with a full blown au rather than just passing thoughts. As such, so as not to spoil a bunch of major moments in an au I may seriously end up writing for and showing off, I've decided instead to finish off this ask with some notes and tidbits about the au.

Misc Notes:

Nine's Bits are based upon these little guys from Archie Sonic from Silver's future (post sgw):

I couldn't think up a better name and "the bits" is still classic to me, so I made up a random lore reason why they'd be called that in this au. Answer? Professor Von Schlemmer exists in Silver's future in this au, and either Silver accidentally brought some bits back with him once or ended up showing Tails or Nine some of his work. So Nine ended up taking the basic idea from the professor's bits to create his own. Since this is a bit more of a careful situation and Nine isn’t in the business of passing others' ideas off as his own, until he comes up with another name and makes them sufficiently different, his bits are a semi-secret not so secret personal project. Idk it's kind of like how in Prime he used the Chaos Council's power core schematics to create the shatterdrive, if that makes any sense. He claims the title of inventing shatterdrive technology, but he does not hide where he drew inspiration or based his designs from

Nine (and his programmer role) have two bits. One is modeled after Chaos Sonic, and the other is modeled after Alpha Grim Sonic.

The purpose of Nine's bits are essentially to act either as extensions of Chaos Sonic and Alpha Grim Sonic or to be additional bodies the robots can upload themselves into. The former is largely useful for stuff like recon, and the latter is used in the event Nine needs to make his robots more portable for some reason (for example, in this case, he wanted to keep his robots with him during Amy's party, but didn't want them taking up space on the train)

Unless one has the proper tools, only Nine is able to access the memory of his bits (in regards to actually scrolling through their memory logs AND in accessing footage they record). Tails did not bring tools necessary for this on the train with him (especially since he takes his role as detective very seriously). This is important in case, say, the Detective and Barry end up getting ahold of one of the Bits and they happen to maybe have crucial evidence.

Fun fact! The Poet does manage to "finish the job" about the same way as he does in the original game. He is lucky that The Programmer is not in the lounge car during his arrival before and escape after the attempted murder. However, this doesn't mean The Programmer left the room completely empty and unsupervised...

Another fun fact! Rather than getting an interrogation like The Sheriff does in the Saloon Car, the Bartender withholds a special clue he found (that could possibly lead to the murderer). Tails and Barry just have to complete a task for him that involves the Super Monkey Ball arcade machine

The same way Sonic and Mangey's character cards and Sails and Knuckles' specifiy that they have a type of relationship to each other, so, too, do Shadow and Nine's cards.

Excluding Barry, The Co-Captain is the only character to suspect foul play when the Captain is "murdered" during the game. However, this is largely due to the fact that (with how the character movements are structured) the Captain and the Conductor suddenly disappear, leaving the Conductor's car in disarray. It's also a while before the Co-Captain reaches anyone who is aware that Sonic's character was murdered.

Final tidbit...! There are kisses involved. Even if they're ooc for the roles they're playing, with the prime polycule involved I had to work em in! 😂

This is probably an unpopular opinion but do you know what I kind of wish CC creators would do? Make previews of each of their swatches!

This is what I'm talking about. You can see what the CC looks like as well as all the swatches it comes in.

But then you have other CC previews like the one below, which just shows you what the CC looks like and all its swatches, but like, not what all those swatches specifically look like.

Mind you:

I AM NOT TRYING TO BASH ANY PARTICULAR CC CREATORS WHO JUST HAPPEN TO NOT SHOW PREVIEWS OF ALL THE SWATCHES.

I'm just offering my opinion - constructive criticism, I guess.

I just think this would be kind of neat for things like hairstyles, where I'm looking for a specific shade and I THINK I find one I like based on its preview image, but when I actually put it in my game, it's not the specific swatch/color I was expecting.

The ones above are pretty good starts, now just do the same thing for ALL the swatches! Also - not a 'requirement', per se - it might be cool if we could see what they actually look like in-game, since a lot of the preview images use like, EXTREMELY flattering and beautiful models plus lighting. There were many times when I felt like I was getting "catfished" (/j) because something I downloaded ended up looking much different than I was expecting. But I mean, if that's too much, then I'm fine with just seeing what everything looks like in just the CAS.

With all this being said, I'm definitely NOT expecting CC creators to do everything I just talked about - that would be just entitled of me, wouldn't it? I'm aware of the time it takes to create such beautiful-looking content for a game that half the time doesn't even bother to give us decent-looking CAS items. Keep doing what y'all are doing.

This little hunt has been going on for a few minutes, P purposefully sneaking away from Romeo as they looked for each other in the Hotel's gardens. P wanted to be the one to find Romeo, while actively avoiding being found by the other.

He had not seen him today yet, returning from his won quest just a few minutes ago. The weather was exceptionally nice today; it was sunny, but not too hot. Perfect to just sit down outside and relax, which is exactly what he had done, listening to Romeo play his violin back inside the Hotel. P didn't have to announce that he came back; he was well aware that Romeo would just know.

And he did, but when he finally came outside to meet P, the puppet was already gone, hiding in the more overgrown part of the garden. And thus, their little game of hide and seek began. P would always sneak away when Romeo got too close, attempting to circle around him and sneak up on him in return. Ah, but the King was quick in his moves, always escaping at the last moment.

Eventually, P lost sight of him, which was quite an achievement considering the other puppet's height. Looking around, slightly confused, he didn't expect Romeo to be just behind him. His voice made him pause and P smiled slightly, admitting defeat. Of course, he would get him like that.

Then, without giving it one thought, P obliged and turned around to face Romeo, a bright smile spreading on his lips as their eyes finally met. Oh, he liked that.
