okay so, I made this family tree just for this ask I couldn’t help myself

Obviously, Elder Kettle passed before Marigold was even born, but Mugman does (at least tries to) tell stories about him to keep his memory alive. Marigold doesn’t really listen to him because the way he tells the stories are very boring to her, and it’s just mugman himself who’s telling the stories. Maybe if it were his brother telling the stories she’d be interested, but I don’t think that’s likely to happen
