A lot of people say that the whole pit rage thing was Jason takes away what's interesting about his character. I don't agree, and even when I love the pit rage angle (my first approach to dc was arrow so that's why I love it so much) I don't think it's necessary to still say he wasn't in his right mind when he did what he did.
We're his feelings valid? 100%
Did he actually believe that death was the only way to stop some people? Yeah, that doesn't make him insane.
But, I do think he was very traumatized and acted accordingly. I don't think he actually wanted to hurt Tim, I don't think he wanted to hurt Bruce or Dick. I think he was manipulated (maybe on porpoise, or maybe Talia just told him what she believed, I mean, she believes in killing, so to her ofc Bruce didn't avenged Jason and didn't care, because to her caring would be killing the Joker. You can see it as her manipulating him on porpoise, which I don't think it's what happened, or she actually believed what she told him) and with the pain he felt, and the memory loss and ptsd, he acted out of character. I do think he actually believes killing some people is necessary, I don't think the amount of violence of his actions makes sense unless he isn't actually in his right mind. Not everyone breaks the same and at the same time or in the same way. People break and show their worst sides sometimes, and that is killing beyond what's necessary even to him. Another way to look at it is the writers wanted him to be bad, not caring what made sense or not.
I still really like the whole pit rage thing. But someone extremely traumatized also can act without realizing what they are doing, and they can also have memory loss of what they've done, and they can also do things that if they hadn't been triggered they wouldn't have done.

Talia is a horrible person
First point, she r***ed Bruce in Son of Batman, and everyone just glosses over it. It doesn’t matter how she did it, it’s the fact she did it at all. What she did was wrong and she deserves to be called out for it. Men and women both get SA and it’s horrible. Her calling Bruce “Beloved” doesn’t change anything. I’m not even getting into how she groomed Jason in that one comic. And just in case anyone says anything about Poison Ivy, I don’t like her either.
Secondly, even if you take out the SA, saying it was just character assassination, she’s still a bad person. In my opinion, the League of Assassins is basically a cult, so it’s definitely not a good environment to be in. Even if Talia cares about Damian, she still didn’t treat him right by raising him as a weapon, not letting him be a kid. He’s the way his is because of his upbringing. She’s definitely manipulative too, with how she talks to people and the way she acts.
Now there is the fact she kills people, but honestly that’s not really the worst thing out there, so I’ll ignore that. (Especially because Jason is one of my favorite characters and he’s got a kill count-)
Overall, I think she’s a horrible human being, and I feel like people should treat her like the terrible person she is, and that she would not be a good mom or a part of the batfam. My personal hot take, thanks for hearing me out.

Fem!Jason Todd Wayne & Slade Wilson
3 months, 8 days, 2 hours, 46 minutes, 33 seconds, and it's all as fresh in her mind as if it were yesterday. Day by day, she count, counting since that dreadful day, because if she don't count, she will forget, and if she forget, she will soften and return to the man who chose the Joker over her. Actually, it has nothing to do with softening—how cliché? She just wants that. To go back.
Jayna (Jason Genderbend), always wanting something; to be Catherine's real mother, for her real mother not to sell her to the Joker, for Talia not to exploit her, for Richard to truly love her, for Bruce not to turn her into a damned public service announcement of a good soldier, and despite all that, for Slade Wilson to be able to treat her like a father.
Slade had a different mission. He didn't save Jayna from getting a batarang on her neck that day for nothing. She was familiar with Slade's previous relationship with Terra, having tricked, used and raped the girl when she was not even 18 years old. Slade had an interest in girls younger than him, and Jayna was only 17 years old. The bad thing was not that she knew these things, but that she went to Deathstroke even though she knew them.
She was blind. Yes, she was literally blind. She was blind to love and didn't want to let it go, even if the person he found it with was a fucking pervert. Because she wanted to feel like a human being around someone..Yes, even if she remained a sex toy in Slade's eyes, she wouldn't say no to that. Maybe Slade would even be the only person who would truly love her..Jayna was only 17 years old, but she was a very skinny girl with small breasts and small hips, moreover, she had never worn make-up in her life and her skin was full of acne because she stood in a helmet for hours. Ah! ..She wasn't even talking about his oily bangs and white parts. Her face was completely different from that of a teenager or a child. Nobody want her.
So, did she still want to go? Did she have anywhere to go? Did she want to die, did she want to kill people, did she want to turn to Bruce right now and beg him to take her with him? No. She made up her mind, she was going to let Slade manipulate her.
Let's see how the BatFamily reacts to this? Bruce, in particular, is not very happy with his daughter's psychology.

Get to know your fave writers through their fanfic lore..
Fave tropes to write about?
hmmm. I love killing characters and giving everyone else consuequences. i love turning someone into a creature and making everyone choose to side with them. i love forced proximity. i love blood, cannibalism, death, accidental incest.... I just love angsty things with secrets, expositions and potential for extreme consequences. I like it when bad things happen, when they do the unspeakeable and yet they're still loved by someone. they still deserve to be happy.
im not gonna further psychoanalyse why<3
and also. monster cock hot
Last WIP you worked on and what it's about?:
At the moment it's just titled "Mephala's blessing" which is a sequel to my fic "Weakness and Lust", it's about Jason dealing with a pregnancy and ultimately Dick and Tim deciding to support him, leading to domestic times. For once, nothing angsty::)
Other WIPs you want to work on?:
Ooof, there's many. I really wanna work on like a time-displacement? fic I've written a bit of, where Robin Jason and Hood Jason switch places. Aside from that, I have a hate-fucker oneshot, I have my Death! AU, my bodyswap Au, a vampire AU... Yeahhhh.
Do you listen to anything while you write?
Sometimes. Usually like, non-talking asmr things with a lot of clicky sounds, complete silence distracts me.
Open your last 1-5 WIPS and choose your favourite parts and paste them below:
From "Mehpala's blessing"
So no. Jason didn’t go to Talia expecting her to somehow undo his pregnancy. She’s powerful, and has many connections - but even she wouldn’t be able to remove a deity’s blessing. His pregnancy is going to happen, this child will be birthed, because Mephala has willed it so.
But he also knows that if Talia did have a way to undo it, she would. Night-Mother or not.
And that’s.. Really why he’s here. He’s scared. Of what this child will do to his life.
He’s spent years creating a system, building a community in Crime Alley. He’s their protector.
But now he’s forced to, for at least a while, go on break.
He doesn’t want to give up on Hood. He can’t.
Switching places:
He could call Bruce, but their dad’s on a business trip, a legit one for once, with Alfred accompanying him. Dick was supposed to be babysitting (which, he didn’t need a babysitter, he’s 13!) for the week while they’re gone. He’s pretty sure they’re not even in the US, right now. So even if he did call Bruce…
Well, it wouldn’t do him much good. And since Dick’s number isn’t working right now...
Loke's Rhapsody:
He’s very, very happy no-one who knows him is here to see this and make any are you hitting yourself jokes. Dick spares his hand a glare at this betrayal.
Then utterly freezes.
The hand staring at him is tan, but nowhere near Dick’s level. Its fingers are crooked, as if they’d been broken and re-broken without proper care too many times. Nails are short, clipped, but the skin around them is bitten and dry. Scars are painted all around his fingers, his palm and on the back of his hand, some smaller, newer and barely there. Others looking like skin had been flayed off. It was abundant.
And, for some reason, slightly familiar.
His gaze travels up a long forearm and yep, more scars speckled upon tanned, freckled skin. He frowns as his mind automatically catalogues knife-wounds, gun-wounds, blunt force trauma, burns. Dick would be the first to admit he’s not perfect, but he’s good at dodging. Has he been injured before? Of course, but with proper care, and sometimes beauty manipulation (thanks rich-guy money), he and every other mask in his family’s been able to keep scarring to a minimum on visible areas such as arms and legs and face.
His eyes settle on the long scars starting by the wrist, ending by the crook of the elbow. It looks like someone had taken their nails and forced it into the flesh, and then, as if unsatisfied with the damage, gone over it in a single line with a knife.
And Dick’s fucked up in a plethora of ways.
But he’s not suicidal.
This can’t be right.
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
My first one shot was an Ao No Exorcist dead dove fic. My first multi-chaptered fic was a Homestuck fic.
Last book you read?
Nicole Angemi's anatomy book on interesting pathology.
Next book you want to read?
Probably either "Forensics" or "Death, dissection and the destitute"
Least favourite thing to write and why?
Romance. I *suck* at writing romance. I base a lot of emotions and sometimes experiences on personal things, which is why I suck at writing romance - It doesn't interest me, nor can I relate to it lol
Fics you regret writing?
Hmmm. Honestly, I sorta regret writing this werewolf BTS fic i wrote back in 2018. I deleted it years later.
I also.. Well, maybe not regret writing it, but sharing it, a One Piece fic i wrote that was essentially just. Trauma dumping. it involved a lot of personal experiences, and I get that at the time of writing it, it was probably cathartic to just talk about what I went through but... i sorta regret sharing it because it was quite personal.
I've since then also deleted that one.
First bookmark on ao3, First fic in your ao3 history and first fic on you marked for later?
First bookmark: made in july 2014. "Locked Up" byorderofwords, a supernatural fic with demon dean locking sam in the bunker.
First fic in ao3 history: "honeyboy" by dollylux. also a supernatural fic, last visited june 26 2014 lmao. is it obvious what fandom brought me to ao3?
First marked for later: "medical procedure", an ao no exorcist fic, by Denshi_alpha, marked for later on january 15th 2017.
technically, there are other works before that marked for later but they've all been deleted it seems.
This or that;
Enemies to Lovers vs Friends to Lovers?
Enemies to lovers no question.
Mutual pining vs Developing feelings?
Developing feelings.
There was only one bed vs Clothes sharing ?
Hnnng..... This one is hard for me to choose. I love both. I'm gonna say.... Only one bed. Bcs sleepy cuddles.
Fix it vs Time Loop?
Depends. I'm not the biggest fan of either tbh. If I had to choose, probs fix-it?
Friends with benefits vs Idiots in love?
Friend with benefits, duh.
Fake/pretend relationship vs Accidental marriage:
Fake/pretend relationship. Gimme the forced proximated bbyyyyyy
Dark vs Fluffy?
Dark lol
Fuck-or-die vs Sex pollen:
....Both.
[x] made them do it vs Omegaverse:
Hmmm... Omegaverse.. But I like both.
Sci-fi/android AU vs Vampire/Werewolves/monsters AU:
Monsters. No question. I don't really like scifi or robots, it's boring to me, sorry.
Slow Burn vs Established relationship?
Slow burn, no question. I don't think I've ever shipped a shit where I've been like 'oh yeah they're in love and together already'. To me, slow-burn is developing feelings and relationships, not pre-existing feelings.
Non-pressure tagging:

And anyone else who wanna do it! If I forgot your name sorry, my memory is swiss cheese ☆

Chapter Eleven
Masterlist
Jason didn’t know how to feel. He’d just learned so much about someone he thought he knew in such a short amount of time that processing it all felt impossible. He knew that the others were having just as hard of a time with it all as he was, but that didn’t help his own knot of complicated emotions. His neighbor knew him through the kind of magic that allowed for reincarnation to happen. His youngest brother, because he could finally admit that the Waynes were really his family, had remembered for longer than his neighbor to spare them all from the horror of their second life. The person who he thought was a manipulative douchebag was actually pretending so that the world didn’t follow apart.
He felt like his life had somehow shifted even though nothing had really changed. …That was the issue though, wasn’t it. Nothing had truly changed even though it felt, however irrationally, that it should have. Such a big secret kept for such good reasons were still massive secrets. He felt betrayed, of course he did when such important people in his life were keeping such big secrets, but he didn’t feel justified to feel hurt by that betrayal. That would be like being hurt because the Justice League had defeated a massive world-ending threat. He was suddenly privy to information that made it seem like the world should have changed somehow, but everything had the audacity to stay the same.
It reminded him of his death in a bad way. When he’d seen what was happening in Gotham from his outsider’s perspective while at the League, and to some extent even when he’d come back, it had seemed like nothing changed. Jason Todd was dead, and he hadn’t been enough to even change the person he interacted with the most. He might have been the root cause of his death, but the fact that it appeared like nothing had changed, even to the other causes of his death, was so incredibly hurtful. Now, a somewhat similar, if flipped, thing was happening and nothing had really changed.
Jason wondered if these same thoughts, or even similar ones, were going through his family's minds. It had taken something like ten hours for the family to stop asking questions of Talia, although she didn’t answer all of them, sometimes giving vague answers as well. If they were thinking similarly, Dick would probably be beating something up or bothering everyone with cuddling requests, Bruce was probably brooding or talking it over with Clark and Diana, Tim was probably trying to do some research or solving puzzles, Duke was probably just going about his normal life until he figured out how he wants to feel about it, Cass is probably keeping obsessive tabs on the family to make sure they’re safe, Steph is probably tagging along while munching on waffles in mostly silence, and Alfred is probably focussing on keeping his usual exceptional level of service while he works through his thoughts.
If this was before Jason had met his new neighbor, who it turns out he’s known for longer than he’s even been alive apparently, he would most likely be taking out these feelings and issues on the town, probably in one of his little fits to add to that awful image. Now though, he was laying on his couch, staring at the wall. He’d started by sitting and staring at the ceiling, but he must have fallen over at some point. It was fine though, he didn’t plan on moving unless he had to, mostly in fear of what he would previously do happening again.
Jason’s mind wandered to what they’d found out about Existences. There were many names and titles that could go into an Existence’s, well, existence. The High King that Taila had sworn by was the ruler of the entire Infinite Realms, which should have been at least a little frightening yet instead brought comfort as well as questions that didn’t get answered that day.
How long had it been since he sat down at his couch? He didn’t know, but that wasn’t as important as going over all he’d learned to try to process it so his brain should really start focussing.
His family was mostly composed of liminals, with Damian being the outlier as a Realms Blessed Existence Bonded Liminal, which was his fancy and full title, although Talia had hinted that it wasn’t his only title. The area in a Mortal Realm that was claimed by an Existence was referred to as a Haunt, and that place was almost like their own kingdom. All Existences who were strong enough could form a Lair, which was a place for them in the Infinite Realms, and it could either stand by itself as a door hanging out in the Realms or as part of someone else’s City, Town, Village, or Kingdom. Those four are pretty self explanatory.
There are some holidays celebrated by the entirety of the Realms, but otherwise it is pretty situational and/or regional when it comes to holidays. Talia hadn’t really expanded on what holidays they did celebrate, saying that it would be explained to them later or it didn’t matter. Come to think of it, that had been her answer to a large amount of their questions. It was partly annoying and partly understandable.
The reason the Pit’s Influence had stayed around longer for Jason than most other people was because he’d formed an Existence before being chucked into the Pit for full revival. Apparently that let the corruption in the stupid green goo latch onto him in a far different way than normal. Talia had said that his fits were the corruption trying to take control while relying on his instincts after hyping some of them up and suppressing others. Danny had been filtering the corruption out at a rate that didn’t make the corruption freak out in order to avoid hurting either of them, which meant it was slow work. The several months that Danny had been here meant that a few more weeks of filtering would make some of his suppressed instincts supposedly flare up.
In terms of the Infinite Realms and death and all that jazz, they’d gotten some information from Talia. The Infinite Realms contained all afterlives, but there was also a thing called Limbo that existed for those who didn’t want to have even the slightest chance of interacting with the world or those who were too young to make the choice themselves. The souls who were too young could age safely in Limbo until they decided for themselves what they wanted to do. The souls who chose to go there after being deemed old enough would never be able to change their choice. There was also a place called the Beyond where souls who were waiting for reincarnation or fading into the Void. The Void was just ceasing to exist.
All of this information was supposedly the barest of bare basics that Talia felt comfortable sharing without more permission from other sources. She did share with them that she was technically an outsider because she wasn’t even very liminal. In fact, most of the family would be considered outsiders and treated as such unless they were in the company of at least one Existence. It was odd to think that such world breaking knowledge would just barely cover the basics that they would need to know if they ventured into the Infinite Realms, which Talia seemed to think was heavily possible.
What most intrigued Jason was that Existences of a certain level could change to different forms. Apparently Danny and Nellie both had forms more capable of surviving in the Infinite Realms. Damian was also able to live in the Realms, according to Talia, and Jason was supposedly also capable of it as well. However, the rest of the family would need special charms to be able to even breathe and a special device to be able to properly navigate.
Jason continued to float within his thoughts for an unknown amount of time, not even noticing when his body acted on autopilot to make food, eat the food, clean the dishes, or even to go out on patrol. When he finally came back to proper awareness, he had one burning question that felt like it would once again change everything, but he knew that he had to ask it. There was this fire in his chest that wouldn’t let him forget that one question. Now he just needed to find Danny to ask it.
~`~`~
Nellie was excited, Pops was finally in the right state of mind to remember! According to Grampa Clocky, she needed to make sure that Pops went to his Lair with Da in order to remember, but Grampa had also said she couldn’t rush it, nor could she tell Da. It wasn’t fun, but the outcome would more than make up for that. She’d missed when Pops would read to her until she fell asleep. She’d mi-
“Nope! Don’ even dare silly thoughts!” She called out cheerfully as she slapped her cheeks a little. Soon she wouldn’t have to miss that, so there was no point stressing over it.
Making sure the blanket of shadows that kept her concealed was still wrapped around herself, she set off for Wayne Manor, where Da was still talking with Damian about animals or memories of the past. If her template was anything like herself, he would have been sorely missing the ability to talk to someone about those memories. It would have only hurt more to talk to someone who knew of the past yet didn’t really know because they didn’t experience it.
Once she reached the limit of how far her shadows could take her before she started getting noticed because of them, she slipped into invisibility and dropped the comforting blanket with a short thanks to Gotham. Now, she could truly move fast as she sped through the air with the sole intent of curling around her Pa and being close to her ghoul as she waited for that blessed day of memory remembrance.
~`~`~
Tim was honestly still kind of reeling from the heavy revelations of that day a couple weeks ago. He’d once gotten so obsessed with a case that it caused his death. He knew that he could get carried away when he really wanted to solve a case, but he never thought of it as something that could be detrimental to his health before. Normally, he would focus on research or things that he could solve as a way to process everything that he’d learned, but he couldn’t bring himself to do so with the knowledge that it’d lead to his death once.
He was even more thankful than ever that Danny had given him a safe place to tell the family about the case, Danny had probably saved his life with that, which, now that Tim thought about it, was probably the entire point. Danny had apparently been saving all of them from one thing or another the entire time they’d known the family, longer even. It was admirable and only made Tim more convinced that Danny was an amazing person.
Damian of all people was the person to help Tim the most with processing everything they’d been told. He’d sat by Tim and helped talk through all of the questions shooting through Tim’s head like bullets. That wasn’t something that Tim ever expected to happen, yet was apparently the way that he and Damian had bonded in that first life.
What a thing to have confirmed in the most confusing way possible, the idea of reincarnation. Which actually wasn’t even an idea at all. Tim wasn’t very religious, but he would have sworn by almost any god that reincarnation wasn’t something that could really be proven. Now, his thoughts on the matter had entirely shifted. There wasn’t any concrete proof behind the idea, not like he would have basically demanded before, but there was something inside of him that knew what had been said was the truth.
He’d worried about finding his twin before, but the intense feeling of hopelessness around not finding his twin was gone now. He trusted that the Existence Danny had asked for help would be able to help. There was just a sense of building dread that the answer to the question wouldn’t be something that he’d thought of before. He had the overwhelming feeling that discovering who his twin was wouldn’t be easy, in fact, it would most likely be about as earth shattering as the revelations that had happened recently. He could only hope to be ready for such an eventuality whenever it finally came.
~`~`~
Talia sighed and stretched as she finally arrived back to her rooms after one final check on everyone. Dick was talking about everything with Babs and Harley while Ivy was doing something out of town, which gave her some sense of peace knowing that he was conversing with a good therapist, however insane, and in the company of someone who knew him very well. Bruce was working through his thoughts by alternating brooding and training, which had brought a smile to her face with its normalcy. Jason wasn’t taking it well, but she hadn’t expected him to with all the corruption in his system. Duke had talked it out with his near comatose parents, which had apparently helped even for how morbid it appeared. Steph and Cass were assisting each other through it. Tim had worked through it with Damian and was now dealing with the emotional stuff by himself. Alfred was the only real shock, she wasn’t aware that he was an… old friend of Clockwork.
She figured getting some sleep wouldn’t be a bad thing as she’d pushed her body to the limits to make sure that her family and their town was safe these past two weeks. Now, finally, she could get some of the rest she so badly needed while waiting for the next part of the sly old clock’s plan to take place. Knowing him, however, the rest wouldn’t be nearly as long as she longed for right now. Oh well, a little rest was still some rest after all. She’d done her part, so she deserved at least that much.
~`~`~
Danny basked in the sunlight while Damian talked to him about whatever came to mind. It was nice to finally be able to relax as he’d been forced to take a break from work due to them being worried he’d overwork himself enough to become one of the inmates. It wasn’t possible, of course. His going insane would result in so many bad things that he made sure he was always aware of how close he was to the line, always stopping well before he crossed it.
Danny knew the level of calm could never and would never last, but he was happy to take advantage of it for as long as it could last. He was happy to finally have his family, all of his family, know about what had transpired before they’d even been born in this life. They didn’t know everything, but they would eventually. His Death Day was also coming up, but that thought wasn’t enough to dampen his mood. He just wished they could stay in this happy time for just a little bit longer, just a little longer…
~`~`~
Damian smiled down at Danny now that they’d finally fallen asleep. He knew that they didn’t need to sleep as much as they once did, but he wanted them to fully enjoy this relaxing atmosphere before it descended into the chaos that was inevitable in this family. Peace didn’t last for long, but Damian would make sure that his important people made it out alive this time. He didn’t know if he could take being one of the sole survivors again, it was too heartbreaking.
His ghoul landed beside him and rested her head on his shoulder, and, just like that, he knew that Jason had finally landed on the question that would assure his Pops regained the memories of their past. Damian sighed, knowing that the peace was going to fade especially fast this time. Still, having his ghoul next to him gave him enough peace that he felt himself start to fade into sleep. “Love you.” He murmured as he slipped into a restful sleep, only partially hearing her response as he faded from awareness into the gentle void of a dreamless sleep that reminded him so much of his ghoul’s shadows.
Yes, everything would work out this time. He’d make sure of it.

What do you make of the change the New52 made with Catherine and Sheila in Jason's Death storyline?
Despise it. And I've argued with plenty of other so called Jason fans on this one. They all hated Sheila and were happy to see her removed from canon but the fact is all they did was give her story to Catherine thus tainting the one good person Jason had in his early childhood. Jason fans need to realise you're meant to hate Sheila, she sold a young boy, her own son out to the Joker. They also need to realise just cause someone is bad to Jason doesn't mean they shouldn't exist for the purposes of the story. Sheila being an awful mother, an awful person, is necessary for Jason's story while tainting Catherine with that storyline removes the one adult figure in Jason's life that he felt didn't actively seek to hurt him even if she still let him down in another way.
Jason feeling ostracised in Bruce's family, finding out Catherine wasn't his birth mother and realising he had a chance at a parental connection with someone who might appreciate him only for that woman to turn him over to the Joker is heartbreaking and contributes to Jason's later unwillingness to trust people (unless you're Talia cause for some reason DC and some Jason fans think that woman is a saint when she used Jason just as much as everyone else, if not worse in many ways and is no better than many of Batman's other Rogues). However, despite this betrayal Jason still tries to save Sheila in the end showing that despite what DC want us to think nowadays about Jason as Robin, he was good at heart, he died a hero, trying to save a woman who sold him out and watched as he was beaten bloody with a crowbar. This is integral of Jason's character, it shows that he was more than the cautionary tale that Batman and modern DC want to turn him into. He was a hero.
Also easily the worst part about the change in the New52 is it makes Jason's entire life the product of some scheme by the Joker. I hate that. Not everything in comic books needs to be some massive conspiracy. Sometimes things can just happen coincidentally. Jason was not the only orphan (or in this case fake orphan since Catherine was not dead in this scenario) on the streets, Batman could have stumbled across any of them, the fact he takes Jason in is entirely because of actions Jason chose to take, no one manipulated Jason into stealing the Batmobiles tyres.
For people who don't know basically in New52 Sheila was replaced with Catherine. Catherine was originally Jason's step mother in Post Crisis Canon but was changed here to be his biological mother. In original canon Jason's father was killed by Two-Face and Catherine died of an "illness" speculated to either be a drug overdose or some form of cancer that she took drugs to try and dull the pain. Regardless Jason ends up orphaned on the streets and then found by Batman when he steals the wheels off the Batmobile to try and sell them for money. Then Jason finds out Catherine is not his real mother and goes searching for Sheila and finds her in Ethiopia where she's working with the Joker (admittedly unwillingly but she's being blackmailed due to her stealing charity funds so honestly I don't feel bad for her in that situation) and Jason tells her he's Robin and can help her with the Joker and instead of taking him up on that offer she sells him out to the Joker.
In New52 the Joker meets Jason pre death of his parents and orchestrates everything. Willis Todd's death, he fakes Catherine's death to leave Jason "orphaned" so that he'll be taken in by Batman and made into Robin, he then threatens Jason by revealing Catherine is alive and that's how he gets Jason to the warehouse where he beats and kills him.
I just hate that. I hate the idea that the Joker basically controlled every part of Jason's life even BEFORE he killed him. Newer DC writers seem obsessed with Jason being a puppet to the Joker due to him being Red Hood, constantly tied to the clown rather than acknowledging Jason taking the name Red Hood is his way of regaining some agency in his own life by taking from the man who took from him. But to a degree I can understand thinking post resurrection Jason is in a way controlled by the Joker, his existence affects Jason. Having the young boy who thought being Robin made him magic also just turn out to be one of the Jokers sick pet projects is just callous, cruel and ultimately adds nothing substantial to Jason's character arc. It was poor writing and I'm thankful for the most part more modern comics seem to have tried to distance themselves from this god awful retcon and that fans seem to have never accepted it as canon to begin with.
The New52 Outlaws run had its moments but I'll he honestly I'm not a huge fan of Lobdell's storylines, overall characterisation wise i think he normally nailed Jason decently well but some of those plots were.... just not good. This is absolutely, 100% one of the worst ones.

okay so rtc mermaid au
this is going to be set in australia because *fuck america* (that's a joke it's really because most mermaid stuff is in australia and i want an excuse to have stuff in australia and therefore based on my own experiences. also it lets me make them wear uniforms which h20 just add water didn't do and i'm STILL MAD i dont care if it's a queensland thing fuck queensland they had to win the state of origin. bitches.) this fic would be throughout their year 12 (senior year) but i haven't decided if this would be starting in october or february because. okay school years are weird once you get to senior.
constance, noel, and ricky are all regular human people. they are in the choir. and you know ricky is really into sydney folklore, noel thinks they're bullshit, and constance was super into h2o: just add water and mako mermaids (the sequel show). okay, she still is.
penny has been a mermaid since birth. because. both her parents were merpeople so is ezra it's simple genetics. she grows up in the northern territory (it's our hot desert state and apparently has had the highest percent weed usage in australia). something something their parents were manipulators who made people believe that either they could become merpeople or that deep down, they fucked them up through the intense amounts of marijuana. their transformations were decently controlled because. like nt is a fucking desert there's a reason it's a territory not a state. but when the police found the commune, for some reason or other, they spilt water on penny and ezra's parents. so not only have they been split from their family and sent to sydney, a crowded city entirely different to everything they've ever known, but they are also traumatised by what happened to their parents and are panicking about getting caught especially in a city that has far more water (they lied in the commune and got out because of being minors idk i didn't take legal studies)
ocean was magically transformed into a mermaid. basically, i'm keeping choir as a think because it's fun dammit. ricky was accompanist because they're really damn good at piano. on the group chat, ricky (who was really into myths of the area) was like "hey you should go to xyz beach and chant this thing prove me wrong" and ocean. wanted to prove them wrong. sO. on her 18th birthday (fulfilled the thing stipulations, she'd be studying anyway so might as well do something special) she went there and did the chanty thing. coincidentally, at the exact time she was born. she then went to school or the library to study (what a fucking nerd) and when she showers the next morning, girliepop falls down. with a tail. yeah it's not great and she panicks because she is building a future it is bad publicity if she is a fucking fish. so if it starts in september she'd change during the fic.
mischa is a siren (so is talia). he lived on the outskirts of ukraine, but one night in his sleep he somehow swam to australia. he has no idea why he's there. his physiology is also different from penny's and ocean's. they don't have gills (it's more just. holding their breath), he does, and his never go away. he also doesn't need water to change into siren form, he can control it all. and he can get wings. mischa's song is enchanting, it can curse all who hear it to a watery grave. except, weirdly, penny's and ocean's. in fact, ocean begs him to join the choir, with how his song somehow is layered with harmonies. he says no, thank you, but he sees how easy it will be for him to fulfil whatever he has to do.
@try-cry-why-try @luckynature
#okay but should i write this????#rtc#ride the cyclone#rtc mermaid au#penny lamb#ocean o'connell rosenberg#mischa bachinski#now i just need to figure out what school they'd go to and my subjects post#i'm also thinking mischa can charm people with his voice#also yes bi mischa HOWEVER. no passionfruit...#I JUST WANT THEM TO SUPER CLOSE PLATONIC BUDDIES WHO ARE BOTH MEN ATTRACTED TO MEN#anyway :)

LET'S F*CKING GOOOOOOO!!!
"If you lied and it gets people hurt, I'll be back to take away more than your pain."
LET'S F*CKING GO SCOTT!! THAT'S OUR BAD*SS TRUE ALPHA RIGHT THERE!!!! WE LOVE THIS MAN SO MUCH!!!
Okay so first of all:
I officially do not blame Deucalion for anything. I honestly just feel so bad for him. He really did just want to try to come to some sort of peaceful resolution, and he 100% did NOT deserve that. And technically! His first kill of one of his Betas was sort of self-defense, so, like, even THAT wasn't originally devious. He just kind of....lost his mind, after everything.
Obviously we still need to stop him, and...kill him if we absolutely have to, but none of this is really his fault, because it's still F*CKING GERARD ARGENT'S!
BECAUSE F*CK YOU, GERARD!!
I also officially (not that I really did to begin with, tbh) don't blame Derek for anything. I mean, I've always felt bad for him, honestly. Like, obviously I was creeped out by and mad at him in the first season, but he grew on me really quickly, because he's Derek and he's really not a terrible guy. And to have to do what he did (which, by the way, the way that a werewolf's eye color does change to blue is such a cool thing (and Talia being literally the best mom—“different, but still beautiful, just like the rest of you"), is so freaking fascinating and I love it) is so unfair and super messed up and I BLAME F*CKING PETER!!
Because F*CK YOU PETER!!!
F*CK BOTH OF OUR F*CKING HORRIBLE UNRELIABLE F*CKING NARRATORS I HATE YOU BOTH!!
...okay, I don't hate Peter as much as I hate Gerard. I take that back. But I definitely don't TRUST him, and I'm glad Stiles doesn't either.
I'm also so glad that Scott doesn't trust Gerard as far as he can throw him (and he's a werewolf, so he can CHUCK that man if he wanted to), because he shouldn't, because he's a F*CKING PSYCHOPATHIC MANIPULATIVE *SSHOLE AND GOD I WISH HE WERE DEAD!!
...anyways.
I said it before, but I will say it again. I LOVE how that episode was done. The flashbacks transitioned into each other and back into the present so smoothly, but you were still easily able to tell which side of the story was being told. The parallels between the various storytelling was AWESOME. Peter and Gerard both telling their own versions of the Scorpion story in relation to their respective pasts, Peter and Gerard both being unreliable narrators and lying about the details and who was really at fault while we as the audience got to see what really happened, and Scott and Stiles listening to every word, but never fully trusting it for a second, because they're both too smart to take either of those individual's words at face value.
I am so here for it, and I absolutely LOVED watching that episode play out.
More than anything, I cannot WAIT to see how all of this new information plays into our ability to take on Deucalion and the Darach, because once our whole group comes together again, it's gonna be a wild ride.
Meanwhile, I'll attach a bad*ss Scott McCall gif because we LOVE this man and I almost want whatever plan they come up with to go wrong just so I can watch Scott go back and murder Gerard’s *ss, because he soooooo deserves it, and we all know that those eyes would stay perfectly yellow (or, in this case, red, I suppose) because Gerard is faaaar from innocent.
Anyways I loved that episode. <3
#scott mccall#stiles stilinski#peter hale#gerard argent#f*ck you gerard#f*ck you peter#let's f*cking go scott#let's f*cking go stiles#poor derek#poor deucalion#man#this show really flipped my opinions about some people real quick#and just very heavily confirmed others lol#anyways#i might be able to watch another one tonight#i'm kind of hoping#we'll see#teen wolf#teen wolf season 3#teen wolf spoilers#3x8

First of all, glad to see you're back❤️ secondly... I've read chapter nine and I have a lot of things to tell.
First, I was mad at jesse before but now I'm extra mad at him lmao. Last chapter he was acting like dina was at his place and he said he told dina about the kissing, but none of that was true wow. Such a fricking manipulator and for what😭👍 also, I wasn't expecting Dina's story to be like that... Actually I was, I just wasn't expecting Talia in the middle of this. Part of me think that... Well, dina telling maria even before she met ellie would have been the smart thing to do, but I also won't judge because david is the only to blame here.
The bathtub scene was so cute somehow. Just picturing him crouched talking with ellie while she's venting to him on that bathtub while drinking the tea he made for her is something special. Like she's his religion and he's just there; meeting all her needs.
The rest... The rest of the chapter reminds me of that tlou meme gif where ellie opens the door and everything is pure chaos (I hope you know what gif I'm talking about because otherwise I would feel shy rn lol). So, things escalated very quickly: in one moment the pastor was exchanging barbs with joel while tommy was more lost than a nun on her honeymoon, and in another second, ellie's reaction to david invoked something primal and full alpha on joel (which I'm sorry but it was too fucking hot) and broke david's wrist. As much as that made me go 🎉🎉 for david's wrist, that whole chaos shouldn't have happened... Because joel getting all riled up in front of tommy even before david insinuated anything, ellie getting out of his house in his shirt and joel getting agressive and defensive over ellie, All of this, just made Joel look like the big bad wolf in front of people. At the same time, the scene that happened afterwards was... A bit funny, I'm sorry🤣 I mean, it was tense: maria is mad, tommy is confused and mad, everyone is fucking mad. But that whole scene (they mad at joel and ellie sassing maria while tommy was like "ellie, attitude!") seemed like two parents that just found out their sassy teenage girl is in case with an older man she has a crush on. Kind of reminded me of the movie "crazy stupid love" lmao. But well, back to being serious: While maria made it very clear that he never thought well of Joel, tommy is... A hard deal. Like, we can see he's questioning joel's morals and getting protective of ellie, but at the same time it's like he's not believe his brother would do something like that without genuine feelings involved but he doesn't say that out loud because his wife is his boss. I will re-read to see if I'm right, but even seemed like Joel was scowding tommy for that too when he was arguing with him behind the cells. Like when joel was "why are you letting this pastor free out there?" there was an you're letting your wife rule your head like that? unspoken. Or maybe It's just nonsense from my head, idk.
Last but not least: there was two things I wasn't waiting until this chapter: thing number 1 is the fact that our lovebirds were discovered faster than I thought they would. I mean, they started their relationship and david was a new character, I I thought that there was still some stuff to happen between both things before it all went to wind, so that's why I'm as surprised as every character was on this chapter. Thing number two: Ellie knew about David's creep head even before he did anything to her, so I thought "that's the first story that david doesn't try/doesn't have time to put his hands on ellie"... But then someone came and said there was fire at the church, and then I remembered instantly of the burning restaurant scene from the last of us and... Well, I guess this emoji is what I felt🤡🤡🤡🤡 Poor ellie, I bet something happened with her and that's why there's fire at the church. (Good thing is that joel scaped prison right now😈david might meet hell sooner than he was expecting).
*out of breath* so, that was alll tense. Got me anxious thr whole chapter, so I feel like I need to talk about the few less tense things that happened so I guess less anxious: first, joel getting all hot with that bratty behaviour🤭homegirl almost crying and joel thought that was foreplay made me laugh. Which remindes me.... When out of this shit gets calm again, are we gonna find out if the spanking talk is serious???😏cause I think sir Joel liked the idea a little too much huh. he definitely must be holding a belt in his drawer for this moment.
Also he almost said he loves her🗣️🗣️🗣️ I don't think I even have anything to say about it, don't think I could find the words.
Sweet cub, Mama Bear is sat for this. By the time you see this response, I will have been working on this since last Wednesday. Anyone who takes the time to read and analyze something I write to this degree deserves my attention.🫶🏻 maybe we can consider this the appendices to Learning to Walk - let’s dive in:
Let’s talk about Dina, Talia (who will just be a character that is mentioned in passing) and Jesse. Jesse has been in Jackson - with his mom and siblings - the longest, he has the strongest bonds (or so he believes) with the community. Dina and Talia arrived a few years back - and then David and his few survivors sometime after. For the first time in Dina’s life, she was protected, and Talia could rest knowing her sister was safe. So, imagine this young woman’s horror when her r@pist shows up to this safe community and welcomes him with open arms - Talia remembers the old world, she knows what Maria did for a living (I’m playing off show-Maria in this story, that she was a prosecutor), she knows that men like David didn’t pay for their crimes and could twist the truth to their favor. Talia is trying to protect Dina, Jesse is over protective of Dina, and Dina just wants to live her life.
That being said, this is not the Dina from part 2, this Dina - like Ellie - is younger, and they don’t know one another. Dina is protecting her sister, trying to keep them both from being kicked out of Jackson because that’s what Talia has been telling Dina could happen. Jesse, because his head is up Tommy’s ass all the time, agrees with this assessment, because Jackson operates within a very delicate balance - despite Maria believe there’s law and order, it’s really people just trying to get by, keeping their noses down and staying out of trouble.
Enter Joel. Everyone in Jackson knows the stories about Joel because Tommy is a storyteller, he wants to feel a sense of belonging, and he never thought Joel would show up in Jackson. When Joel asks Maria “why did you let me stay,” she tells him she thought he was deserving of a second chance, but in reality it’s Tommy protecting his brother. Joel tries to carve out a place for himself in Jackson, but even with a partner - Esther - he can’t settle, can’t let himself live.
Which is where the story began way back on the side of a mountain in December 2035 😉
Ellie’s been kind of off for a couple chapters - the whole world came crashing down around her shoulders - she walked into the room on fire, right? Now that things are on the mend and her fuzzy brain is starting to clear - let’s just fuck with our poor girl some more, why not, right? Because a showdown has to happen between her and David and that man (if we can fucking call him that) is not going to like that Ellie knows about Dina and Talia, and we’re assuming other girls. He thinks it’s his job to be her protector and.. oh wait, we’re not there yet! 🫢
But - the showdown is coming at the church, and we’re gonna go back to the night Joel was arrested and see those 3 days Joel was in jail from Ellie’s POV. Someone mentioned to me that this whole thing with David and Ellie happened too fast - but remember that the winter sequence happens over a matter of days, David sees Ellie and decides he’s keeping her (whether your a game follower or show follower) - so this build up was coming.
Last - but most certainly not least - our lovebirds. Yes, Joel almost said it, they got caught, and Ellie being a brat turns them both on. While I’m not gonna give away the farm, this part of the story is winding down, and will go to a resting place until the next arc starts up. Ellie being a brat will be revisited in the future. As for someone saying the L word - just to put on “But Daddy I Love Him” by Taylor Swift while you wait patiently for Chapter 10!

You Make me Wanna Scream at the Top of my Lungs
by Myheartwinter Jayna (Jason Genderbend), always wanting something; to be Catherine's real mother, for her real mother not to sell her to the Joker, for Talia not to exploit her, for Richard to truly love her, for Bruce not to turn her into a damned public service announcement of a good soldier, and despite all that, for Slade Wilson to be able to treat her like a father. Slade had a different mission. He didn't save Jayna from getting a batarang on her neck that day for nothing. So, did she still want to go? Did she have anywhere to go? Did she want to die, did she want to kill people, did she want to turn to Bruce right now and beg him to take her with him? No. She made up her mind, she was going to let Slade manipulate her. You’re so right! The fandom misunderstood everything about Tim that made him Tim.
Sleep deprivation:
He over sleeps, he’s always tired and overworked buts he’s always falling asleep — rollercoasters, ignoring phone calls, even at work. It comes off more as controlled chaos, clinical awareness, and depression. Also he drinks soda.
Taking care of Bruce:
He took care of Bruce but it wasn’t so much Bruce abusing him or taking his anger out and instead every bad thing Batman (because it wasn’t always Bruce!!!!) did was while Tim Drake was supposed to stop it or because he left! He couldn’t help and something bad happened. It’s less that he was beaten into being his carer, nor did he force his way into being his moral compass, but the guilt of him not preventing these bad outcomes. His response to problems is to fix them, whether it’s through social manipulation (good or bad) or cold, calculated planning. But he cares! And he feels guilty!
Jason vs Dick:
JASON WAS NOT HIS ROBIN!!!! Tim Drake has been a dick Grayson Stan for fucking forever (even when Dick hated him in the beginning) and they have a constant push and pull relationship built on hard work, learning, and insane respect for each other. They literally mirror each other’s stress responses during their big fight over Bruce’s death (Tim was the one who ran, Dick was the one who stayed). Their fight wasn’t Dick vs Tim moreso brothers dealing with trauma.
His parents:
They weren’t abusive, not in the beginning. They were bad parents, yes, but they weren’t training him to be a robot nor were they ice parents (also the creator wanted him to have a family so that he was focused on being Robin and not Batman while still able to disappear to be Robin ergo traveling parents). His mom is fucking hugging him when they meet the Graysons (first hug my fucking ass). Yes, him and his dad are on the rocks and his dad does drop the ball and he holds a gun to Bruce’s head but he’s still with his son, he’s still a present figure scared and controlling and also traumatized from being in a coma with a dead wife. They are not good parents but they’re not evil people. Jack Drake is a tragedy of a father and y’all are making him BORING.
Drake manor:
They moved in AFTER Jack Drake woke up! Stop it!
Ra’s Al Ghul:
It’s a hundred percent racism to make his whole character surrounding Tim. Yes, he is obsessed with Tim (Paris was intense and is never handled with respect by fanon) but he existed as a character before and after. There’s a lot more villains with personal ties to Tim (no one ever tends to write about fucking BOOMERANG but that would require batfam fans actually reading a comic for once) or new ties to be invented but they keep stripping Ghul his relationship to Bruce, Damian, Talia, and his existence as an antagonist and not side character.
Uwu Tim:
Tim would talk shit while getting beaten to a pulp. He has roasted Batman to other characters multiple times. He created up the worst ever fucking superhero design (Mr Sarcastic my beloved) to be a little shit. He stole a fucking Batmobile in the Batarang budget. He held a gun to his head threatening his future self. He has half a dozen aliases, and even considers himself to be three different people when needed be. He is a snarky, loser, dedicated hot mess and y’all make him the most stereotypical autistic child to the point of savant stereotype who cries when he receives a head pat. It’s pathetic and boring and SUCKS !!! Go watch Steven universe and leave dc comics alone
I am a Tim Drake fan. I just bought over half a dozen limited edition comics and merch at comic con last fucking week. And Tim Drake stans have fucking ruined the dc fandom. Go read a comic or start tagging everything with “fanon” or “I fucking made this all up” because Jesus, I don’t know who you’re writing fanfic of but it’s not Timothy Drake.
(I just got all four of my wisdom teeth removed so this other be delirious but whatever. Tim best boy.)
i promise i do like Tim guys :(
This is probably my most unpopular opinion as a Tim stan who spends a lot of time in the parts of the fandom that constantly talk about Tim, but this fandom has a habit of making Tim "better" than he actually is and it hurts his character in the end. Anways, i'm going to make a list.
There are so many characters that we never get to see because of him. We only get to see Jack and Janet Drake as abusive because the fandom decided that they were bad parents. We only get to see Ra's al Ghul when he's obsessed with Tim. Damian rarely gets proper fanfics about his early days as Robin or Dick's time as Batman because all those fanfics are about Tim.
The way a lot of this fandom treats him gives of special snowflake vibes and I admit I do read those fics but I feel like a lot of people write him that way because that's the only characterization of Tim they know. It's honestly unrealistic that he managed to stalk highly trained bats as a young child and take photos. I joke about it too, but he canonically has the strongest morals out of all the batboys and canon makes a big deal about the fact that he didn't kill anyone while blowing up buildings. I like these tropes, I read them and all that but they kind of take me out when they're in serious fanfics.
Probably the most unpopular one but I think fanon is doing Tim a disservice by not holding him accountable for anything and villainizing other characters for him. Like people refusing to acknowledge that Tim was very rude to Damian when they first met. The whole mess with him become Red Robin was a good example of that. Canon was a mess too but basically went like this: Tim insists Bruce is alive for no real reason, Damian becomes Robin for a multitude of reasons I won't talk about now, Dick suggests Tim gets a therapist, Tim gets mad and leaves despite efforts otherwise, Dick later finds actual evidence and the all make up. If Tim had stayed in Gotham nothing would have changed because honestly it probably would have been easier for him to find most of the evidence. This is probably the one trope I won't read because it seems insane to act like Dick was crazy for not believing him and he was ostracized from the family despite the fact that he pretty much choose this way. If Tim wanted to stay with the family so much maybe he should have done that while Dick was asking him too and offering him help?
Anyways you guys can ignore this if you want to and if you have a counter point your welcoming to say it

Saw some bad takes tonight but let me make some things clear (for the people who never read Lost Days but think they’re an authority on Talia’s relationship with Jason based one page from the last issue).
1. Talia did not make Jason feel like he was “replaced” or that “Bruce didn’t care about him”. Literally the first fucking issue ends with her telling Jason that the universe brought him back because he’s meant for great things. In fact, she’s the only person to have ever told him that his resurrection was a good thing. The only person to have ever framed him not being dead as something positive. The only.
2. Not only did Talia not “manipulate” Jason into “attempting to kill Tim”, Talia was worried about what Jason’s reaction to the new Robin would be. She wanted him to talk about his feelings with her, but he couldn’t at that moment.
3. She didn’t keep him hidden in order to “hurt Bruce”, in fact she saved him out of her love for Bruce. Lost Days says that she didn’t bring him back to Bruce because she was scared he wouldn’t be able to forgive her for not bringing Jason to him right away. It’s faulty reasoning, but it’s not malicious. The more reasonable conclusion is that she didn’t want to betray Jason’s trust by giving him away before he was ready. Which leads me to…
4. She was not manipulating Jason so she could have him as a weapon at her disposal. She admitted that she agrees with Jason’s feelings of betrayal at not having been avenged. She agrees with Jason, even while having acknowledged (back in issue #1) that Bruce would never kill (while Ra’s thought he would snap). She’s proven that she knows Bruce, well enough to know that he will never give Jason what she believes he needs; so, she makes sure Jason can take it for himself. Writers’ understanding of Talia and killing has been lacking, to say the very least, since Morrison, but this was before that. I would understand why other Talia fans might choose to ignore this part, but I think it fits that Talia believes it the duty of a parent to make whatever sacrifice to protect their child. In this case, that would be Bruce sacrificing his morals for Jason.
5. Talia never wanted Jason to fight Bruce. Jason said that he had eventually realized that her training was partly to stall him from going after Bruce’s life (because she knows he had the skill to take it). She lets him go after he admits that killing Bruce isn’t part of his plan anymore.
6. She did not let him kill his teachers because it would corrupt him. She was happy Jason killed his teachers,, but not for that reason. She had previously been worried that Ra’s was right; that the Lazarus pit had turned Jason into a sociopath, incapable of caring for anything but his revenge. Jason killing these people in order to protect innocents is proof to her that he still has some sense of personal morality, that he will not become consumed by revenge; hence, “You’re learning”. She’s not happy he’s a killer, she’s happy he still cares (and I agree with her because what is Jason Todd, if not someone who cares for victims?).

imagine a Tim who went mentally back in time to right before he became Robin, looks at Bruce and decides that the whole being his son thing didn't work out, why not try seducing him this go around? And the thing is, Tim knows Bruce how he works how he thinks and how to manipulate Bruce into accepting Tim as his eventual s/o. being pregnant before Damian arrives cements his place and it makes him and Bruce so happy while everyone else is horrified but unable to do anything cuz of Tim's planning
i LOVE this!!!!!! like the concept of time travel to me, a sort 're-do' for the timeline!! tim going back to his young body, the body he had right before he became robin and taking a look at himself and the life he lived and...
being a little disappointed. because he tried. for so many years. to be the son, the partner that bruce needed and it just...it was never enough. he could never provide bruce with what he needed because even as his son there was this constant...divide.
there was a gaping canyon between them that tim couldn't cross because it stretched across boundaries that would be considered inappropriate. the only people who could ever bridge that canyon were people like talia or people like selina. but they, fundamentally, were never going to stay or try to support bruce. not unless he or they changed in a drastic or dramatic way.
and they wouldn't do that. they had pride that prevented them and also the fact that if they shifted to become something bruce would want to cling to...they might never respect themselves again.
but for tim...
he'd throw his pride to the wind in a heartbeat if it was for bruce. but bruce would never ask that of him. not as his son.
so something had to change.
the future wasn't...bad per se. it wasn't good either.
they woke up, they did their job, they went to sleep.
but it was like there was some gaping hole present, something noticeably absent. bruce didn't want to die but he was still clearly depressed. family relations were always tense if not strained.
there was no close connection, no vulnerability.
it ached tim to see bruce still so closed off. even while surrounded by his family and friends he was still so intent on raising his walls.
tim had failed. that much was evident. his goal had been to pull bruce away from the edge but it seemed like every day he just inched closer and closer to it.
tim was terrified. terrified that one day he'd look away and bruce would do something that couldn't be undone. it didn't help that he couldn't trust the rest of the family to look out for bruce the way he did. sure they had his back but no one noticed when he got too silent or too distant.
when bruce had been lost in time tim had been the only one in bruce's corner. the only one in the family and the only one among bruce's coworkers and friends who'd been around far longer than tim. and tim had been the only one who'd seen. the only one who tried.
tim tried to ignore how everyone was just so much more willing to believe bruce was gone forever. like everyone preferred the idea of him being gone forever than him trying to claw his way back to them.
it fell to tim. a lot of the time it feel to tim and he didn't mind. he didn't object.
but bruce didn't want him to do it. bruce didn't let tim in. no matter how much tim had done for him.
but he let selina in. let her root around in his chest and take what she liked.
tim liked her, he did. but he didn't like how she wouldn't be what bruce needed of her. either she wanted him or she didn't. either way, it would be tim left to pick up the pieces.
maybe that was why the idea seeped into his mind.
he'd been in the past for a week. maybe waiting for a rescue, maybe researching how to get back on his own.
and while he was usually diligent tim got...side tracked.
jason was dead. just a month's time before tim's arrival.
it was months before tim would be pushed to approach dick who'd rebuff his insistence that he go back and be robin. months before tim would have to put on the suit in order to save dick and bruce.
months before he embarked on an excruciating journey and complex life that sometimes made him not want to get out of bed.
tim had never set out to be a vigilante. he'd never wanted to be one. not really.
but by twenty he was too deep into the life to ever turn around and be something else. he'd dropped out of highschool, never went to college. he wasn't trained for anything else. he wasn't good at anything else.
even if he tried his hand at normalcy part of him would be too used to steeping in secrecy and deceit to ever be able to be honest with his partner. and tim wasn't about to go dipping his toes into dating another vigilante because there was hardly a cape alive who hadn't majorly fucked tim over.
tim wasn't miserable as a vigilante it just...it just wasn't how he'd hoped his life would turn out.
tim did feel the work he did was important but nothing that couldn't be done without him.
tim had...well he'd had pretty basic ambitions. a nice house, a fun job, a loving spouse, and a few children.
it was oddly domestic for him.
tim had never told anyone because he knew he'd get snorted laughs and maybe even some mocking jokes back because everyone would assume he was joking. they'd assume he wasn't serious. they'd assume that tim had never aspired much beyond being a vigilante. forever.
but it was done. tim had set on his path (a path that'd never truly worked since bruce had never truly gotten better).
but then he was sent back.
tim startled awake in his old room at his boarding school and shakily looked into a mirror as his old roommate snored behind him.
tim waited.
he'd waited one week as was in the temporal space survival guide that booster pushed on everyone once he finally snapped and had it with people messing with time.
he waited one week for his rescue before planning on how to send messages to the future.
one week of acting like he was eleven again.
god what a whiplash.
but tim waited. he stayed put and waited.
and waited.
and waited.
it occurred to tim about a day later that it was possible no one was coming for him.
bruce had been gone months but he'd had tim looking for him.
but tim...he hadn't disappeared under mysterious circumstances. he hadn't been zapped away in the middle of a fight.
he'd gone to sleep twenty and woken up eleven like he was in the plot of some romantic comedy.
tim was planning to sit on his hands and wait.
until more time passed and he considered the likelihood of that happening to be incredibly low. especially since even he had no idea what catalyzed this event.
and normally tim would be more incensed and want to return. but the prospect of...of growing up again?
some people would say it was their worst nightmare but tim...tim had gotten a lot of things wrong. a lot of things he wanted to fix.
maybe that's when the idea first sparks in his mind. while he's sitting in math class learning matierial he could do in his sleep while... thinking.
being bruce's son hadn't worked. being bruce's crimefighting partner had been a band-aid on a stab wound.
tim had been focused on batman. the entire time all he'd thought of was the mask while neglected the man underneath.
by the time the fourth week rolled around tim had a comprehensive plan laid out. all in his head because experience taught him that leaving any kind of physical trail was just begging his plans to get foiled.
his mind was the safest place and even then that could change.
foraging the letter from his parents requesting tim be a commuter student was easy. all he'd had to do was change the contact information the school had on file so it directed to an email he controlled.
his parents were away and mainly returned during the summer to visit tim before leaving again.
a quick change to their itinerary and tim made sure his parents would focus all their attention on asia and oceania. meaning they'd stay the fuck away from south america where their deaths awaited them.
the thing about tim is that he knew bruce.
a life devoted to him made that possible. and tim wasn't scared off by the idea of that happening again.
of him living for bruce again.
no, tim would never be discouraged from that.
it's just that this time he wanted to do it better.
it's not hard to get bruce to spot him. a bright green jacket that tim got for christmas. stepping slightly out of the shadow when he knew he could recede more, hiding in spots that could be seen from a slightly higher angle.
even as a kid tim knew better. he knew to wear dark close and stay low, to never get too close.
tim is scrolling through his pictures and pretends not to hear the scrape of gravel behind him as bruce lands close to him.
"what are you doing out here?"
the small jump and yelp is done perfectly and tim sets his face to one of fright and wariness. tim stumbles back and trembles like a bunny caught by a wolf.
small. defenseless.
bruce's lips are pursed and he stares at tim for a long moment, waiting for an explanation.
tim gives it to him. he stutters about wanting to be a photographer. about wanting to capture a picture of something no one ever has before. like bigfoot or the lochness monster.
bruce twitches at that.
tim is red faced and stuttering. he's near tears when bruce holds out his hand for the camera and tim gives it to him.
no resistance. no bite.
bruce silently clicks through them and tim makes a pained noise as bruce deletes the photos in front of him and ejects the small memory card.
"go home. don't let me catch you out here again."
it's their first meeting. and it goes flawlessly.
bruce catches him four more times before tim starts hiding better.
bruce starts seeking better when he notices his little stalker hasn't popped up in a while.
bruce finds him again. now in dark clothes and tim sees bruce repress a snort that still carries the edge of cruelty at the camouflage pattern painted onto his pouting face.
nonthreatening. amusing even.
this time tim hands his camera over without having to be asked and lets out a put upon sigh as bruce deletes the pictures and ejects the card.
"nice try."
it becomes a game almost. a sprinkle of light between bruce's descent into darkness.
it helps that bruce only barely has to work for it. like an aged cat catching the slow and unsubtle mouse. but it still fills that need in bruce's brain.
the need to seek and capture.
it carries on. this quiet interaction. this little blip in bruce's nights.
he's in a dark place still. he's mentally unwell and desperate for any kind of distraction be it violence or something else.
sometimes bruce is kind taking his camera, other's he's silent, more recently...he's gotten harsh.
he raises his voice at tim a few times. but tim keeps going back.
persistence. show him you won't run away at the first flash of his ugly side.
tim knows why bruce is behaving more unstable. the first sightings of the joker since jason's death run through the streets and through the GCPDs radio.
tim follows bruce around. sees him growing angrier. more savage. harsher. crueler.
tim tugs him away from a corner dope dealer when too much blood is flowing down the man's face.
"stop! stop! stop! this isn't you! you don't do this!" tim's voice is choked, thick with sobs and crying as he desperately tugs at one of bruce's arms with all his might.
bruce is..bruce freezes at the sound of his voice. he stumbles.
his thighs tremble as he steps back and away from the dealer.
he turns. and he leaves.
tim calls the ambulance and leaves before the paramedics arrive.
tim goes home with a memory card full of the photos.
the next time, tim is waiting out in the open for bruce. standing on a rooftop, camera hanging on his neck like always.
bruce swings down.
they're silent for a moment and then tim offers up the memory card.
bruce stares at him.
tim keeps holding it out.
bruce takes it.
you can trust me.
it's like offering a morsel of food to an abused dog. one that will bite if they think they're threatened. but tim's not a threat. he's not anything to be concerned over. he's small and little and bruce can do anything he wants to him.
bruce starts lingering longer. he starts asking him things.
his name.
tim drake.
why he's out here.
i told you. to see something incredible.
if his parents know where he is.
would yours?
...
tim starts asking him questions.
his name.
...
why he's out here.
...
do your parents know where you are?
...
it's the same question every night and every night tim gets no response. until.
"my name is batman." it's said so quietly tim barely hears it as he and bruce sit side by side staring up at the moon. bruce grappled him up here. carried him in his arms when tim told him that all the buildings in gotham didn't let him get a good night shot.
"i'm here to protect the people of gotham the way i wish i had been and my parents are dead. i'm alone."
bruce's voice is low. so low an untrained ear wouldn't hear it.
tim is sure the words weren't meant to be heard by him.
tim is consistent. he's there every day with the same words and the same actions. he's there everyday. unchanging.
reliable. present.
which means tim is there when bruce gets hurt. badly.
with no partner to watch his back and an overwhelming sense of hopelessness bruce getting hurt was expected.
tim is the one to drag him to safety. a condemned building where bruce wakes up in pain but with his wounds patched up and an open child's first aid kit beside them. tim is curled up in his lap using his cape as a blanket over them both.
tim's hands are crusted with dried blood, his camera is hanging low on his neck and when he wakes up, his eyes glued shut with sleep.
tim smacks his lips twice, tilts his head up and wakes up at the sight of bruce staring at him. the tears flow easily as he clings to bruce.
bruce is tensed and distressed as does his best to comfort tim.
but tim is incosolable. sobbing about thinking bruce was dead. crying about how the blood wouldn't stop.
"don't do that again mr. wayne!" tim sobs, nuzzling into bruce's throat. "please don't do that again!"
tim knows who he is. of course he does, he's known for years.
bruce listens quietly as tim tells him about the flying graysons. about the quadruple somersault that started it all.
bruce is not a simple person. he's complex, he's moody, his mind changes with the wind.
he's a hard person to read and a harder person to pin down.
if it were anyone else they'd never pull it off.
but because it's tim, because it's tim who's already devoted his life to bruce once- that's why it works.
tim is not a threat. he's too small. too weak. too easily frightened. too kind. too sweet. too giving. too soft. too tender. too gentle.
tim pretends like he doesn't know what bruce is doing when he tugs him into his house to show him his room and show him all his toys like they're two kids having a playdate.
tim gives bruce unfettered access to him. to his life.
bruce has a key to his home. he has knowledge of the interior and its occupents. tim offers up whatever information bruce asks of him. tim has no secrets. he's transparent.
bruce lets bruce touch him. lets him grab his hand, lets him lead him places.
bruce gets used to the sound of tim's voice, his rummaging, the feel of him.
tim sneaks over to wayne manor occasionally. taking care to hide from alfred so he and bruce can see each other.
bruce compliments him on his stealth's improvements.
it's not easy to push their relationship further.
if bruce were slightly more stable it wouldn't have worked. if jason's death wasn't so fresh it wouldn't have worked. if tim didn't know exactly what to do, what to say, how to act it wouldn't have worked.
but it does.
tim inching closer. tim brushing against bruce.
tim listening as bruce opens up. as he talks softly, lowly and only for tim's ears.
tim offers comfort, a safety from the outside, from the hard realities.
tim is an escape, his room, his home. it's all separate and apart from everything.
tim looks to bruce like he's light.
bruce likes how tim listens tim. he likes how happy tim is to see him. he likes how tim wants to spend time with him, how he wants nothing from bruce aside to just be beside him.
when tim kisses him it's while their heads are close and working on a 1000 piece puzzle. tim kisses bruce's nose and feels it twitch under his lips.
he giggles light and carefree and its enough that bruce doesn't feel anything off about it. it happens more frequently. in different places.
bruce starts kissing him back. tim starts inching closer, until he's practically in bruce's lap.
when tim wraps his hands around bruce's neck and kisses his mouth, tim wants to scream in victory when bruce's hands just settle on his hips and squeeze as he kisses back.
they kiss like that sometimes. then often. then everyday.
tim squirms on bruce's lap, shifts to get closer, to get deeper.
bruce's hands clench harder with the movements, letting out soft sounds into tim's mouth.
one day tim pulls away, a string of drool connecting their mouthes and he softly asks bruce-
"does your special place tingle when we do this too?"
one thing that people always failed to realize about bruce was that he is a hungry man. desperately starving, always voracious.
when he wants, he wants.
bruce grinds his covered cock that chubs with interest into tim's little pussy. they never take of clothes it's fine. even as bruce feels tim gasp and squirm on his lap. as his soft voice says-
"b-bruce! i-i-i'm nngh s-something's happening! s-something's happening!"
bruce stares at tim with fascination as he cums on his lap from just a little grinding and kissing.
tim knows bruce likes seeing it. likes seeing tim weak and helpless with pleasure. likes seeing him slump down on him and go boneless.
tim starts wearing dresses. the ones he keeps in his closets.
he knows bruce pretends not to notice the outfit change. he also knows bruce is pointedly looking away when tim bends over and lets flash of his bare pussy show.
tim is more intent on kissing, pushing a little. he grinds his pussy on bruce's hard cock and makes sure to leave wet spots on the fabric, panting against bruce's neck and cheek as he hopelessly chases that feeling.
bruce is free from blame if tim is the one initiating. he's innocent if tim is the one doing it.
tim asks bruce once, asks him if his 'down there' always feels empty when they're hugging and kissing.
bruce swallows at the question. his eyes dart around before he quietly replies that no he doesn't feel empty.
but does tim? if tim shows him where maybe bruce can help-
tim whines on bruce's fingers, sloppily riding on fingers that bruce furiously fucks into his tight little hole.
tim's cunt is slick, it's hot, tight, and bruce's.
tim is fucked for the first time in both his first and second lives on the floor of his childhood bedroom. he digs his fingers into the carpet under them, rocking against the force of bruce's brutal thrusts as tears of pleasure flow down his face.
"ah! ahh! a-ah! i-it f-feels good," tim says with so much awe, "it feels so good it feels so good itfeelssogood-!"
bruce's cock is covered with a condom and bruce is grunting as he shoves into tim with no tenderness and all force and aggression. bruce is in pain. has been in pain for so long. he hasn't been allowed to express it on the streets not since the night tim begged him. it's been building up. like a shaken soda bottle.
bruce fucks him long and hard all day. he fucks tim on his back, on his front, on his side.
he has tim sloppily ride him, watching him through half-lidded eyes as both his hands push down on bruce's lower abdomen and shaky thighs lower an abused red hole.
tim begs bruce for more. begs bruce to do it again.
when they're done and bruce is holding tim in tim's bed, hand stroking down tim's naked back, tim whispers soft things to bruce's chest.
about how bruce is always so nice to tim, how he treats tim so nicely.
how tim loves him.
bruce's hand shakes as he continues stroking tim's back.
tim loves him.
does bruce love tim?
bruce wants tim with him.
it's not enough that they only see each other. bruce wants him around. wants to hear him, see him, smell him.
alfred often takes weekend trips to visit dick. on those days bruce sneaks tim into the manor and they spend two whole days fucking.
it's working. bruce is coming out of his shell.
more and more. he doesn't hesitate to take tim. tim no longer has to initiate things between them. now bruce does.
bruce slides his cock into the tender seam of tim's pussy and fucks him when he wants, how he wants. he whispers things to tim, moans his name, cries out when he cums and shoots into the condom seperating them.
tim tells bruce about his health classes while talking about school. he plants the idea of birth control.
while at bruce's house tim shows him how he can provide for bruce.
he does the laundry, cooks dinner. simple meals that are tasty ( tim introduces bruce to the favorite foods he would've picked up in a few years).
tim is small. he's weak. he's not vigilante matierial at all.
but that doesn't mean he can't help bruce. can't provide for him.
alfred arrives home one monday to the smell of tenderly made acron squash soup.
the excuse is easy. it's one tim came up with that bruce agreed to
oh tim is the neighbor, a boyscout. he's working on his merit badges and bruce is helping him.
it explains why tim is over often. why bruce spends so much time with him, why they go off alone often.
bruce starts fucking him without a condom. they're growing closer. the relationship is more intense.
the perfect blend of emotional and physical.
bruce notices he's doing better, performing better. his pain doesn't hurt as bad, not when he can go tim and he'll relieve it. like a doctor ripping out a rotton tooth.
bruce feels a connection to tim, feels like they understand each other.
tim just gets him.
when bruce confesses his dark thoughts, the things that fill his mind. tim doesn't even blink.
bruce lays his head in tim's lap and closes his eyes as tim runs fingers through his hair.
they keep it up.
one year.
two years
tim is a common sight at the manor.
dick returns to gotham occasionally. he hardly goes to the manor, only ever working with batman. they have a better work relationship.
without tim present to push them together it seems dick never quite forgave bruce.
red hood returns. with less bloodshed. without a robin present it seemed that jason never quite gained that deranged mindset.
tim had tried monitoring the grave. but jason had never told them how exactly he'd been resurrected, what had happened.
bruce goes through a rough patch with jason's return.
tim cradles him in his arms as bruce questions whether he was right. whether he's a horrible mentor and a worse father for not giving in. for not doing what he'd wanted to.
tim holds him, never letting go even as bruce sobbed while he fucked him.
bruce needed the release, both emotional and physical.
tim notices his birth control pills change. just a shade off.
tim knows sugar pills when he swallows them.
bruce is finally calling the shots between them
when tim gets pregnant bruce admits it.
he will not take in tim under the guise of tim having gotten pregnant from someone else. he's taking tim in because he's pregnant with his child.
alfred is silent when bruce tells him this. he says nothing.
he just gets up and leaves. tim watches his car drive away from bruce's bedroom window where he's cupping a not yet visible bump.
dick enters the manor for the first time in years that night to yell. to scream. to point. dick's furious expression shifts at the sight of tim in the doorway wearing a short nightgown.
tim watches as dick catalogs every bit of him. he and dick have never met in this life. dick's only heard things second-hand from alfred.
tim watches as dick registers his prescense...his size. his delicate frame, soft cheeks and big eyes.
the soft hand pressed to his front and his concerned furrowed brows as he stares at them both.
"bruce? are you okay?"
tim darts to bruce's side, slotting into place under his arm while shooting occasional looks a frozen dick.
tim is in bruce's corner in this life. fully in bruce's corner.
tim stares at dick with big eyes.
all dick sees is a gazelle in the maw of a lion.
it spreads like wildfire. dick never was good at keeping his mouth shut.
tim hears arguments from behind bruce's closed doors as he hums in the sitting room and learns to knit little booties and blankets.
he hopes its a girl. he hopes its a girl because bruce had whispered to him one night saying he wants a girl while laying his hand possessively over tim's stomach.
tim is much further along and visibly showing when damian shows up.
dick has since moved into the manor. he's still ignoring bruce and doing his best to keep him and bruce apart.
he's been trying to get in contact with tim's parents though it'll be a while before he can given that tim's parents are in northern china exploring homeopathic options for Drake Medical and tim is sure that his very much alive parents will be just as horrified.
they may even fly back and realize how tim has dropped out of school. how tim has filed a petition for emancipation and how bruce is going to be the father of his child.
but dick can't stay long. not with the power vacuum of crime in bludhaven even since block buster was locked up with irrefutable evidence and a list of corrupt judges left in the mailbox of nearly all media outlets in bludhaven. apparently public outrages has done more to lock up a person who should've been behind bars than anything else.
jason has been granted his slice of territory by bruce. an agreement. where bruce won't interfere with his brand of justice so long as he...just come comes over for dinner everyone once in a while.
jason grew up in crime alley. where the teen pregnancy rate was 14 in a 100. jason's moral are looser than most people and his only issue had been whether or not bruce was doing right by the baby and tim.
jason is...remarkably calmer. apparently, talia couldn't feed him her kool-aid schtick without tim around to act as a lightning rod for all the resentment.
when damian is dropped at their doorstep like an abandoned infant bruce doesn't drop the ball with him. because he's still on the high of having a baby on the way with tim and damian gets roped into it.
tim knows the league has rules, and while archaic and sexist they work for tim. one thing that ra's absolutely upholds is that pregnant women are to never be targeted, even enemies.
damian sees tim and holds his tongue.
it's surprisingly easy to get along with damian when he's not speaking.
damian helps him with tasks. like pinning up laundry, helping with dinner.
he's remarkably efficient and rolls his eyes at the simplicity. but he freezes when bruce praises them. when he praises him.
damian too sees nothing wrong with tim being pregnant with bruce's child. in the league girls as young as 14 carried children.
tim knows his realtionship with damian is fundamentally different. he was never robin, talia never saw the 'neighbor boy' as a threat. he was nothing but a pet in talia's eyes.
it's why damian refers to him as such on occasion. it's the kinds words damian's ever described him as and when bruce hears it he just raises a brow and looks a tim who cheekily replies with a soft 'bark'.
tim isn't the least bit surprised when bruce returns home one night with a puppy for damian.
disapproval for them is still strong.
tim is the one who cooks for bruce and does his laundry since alfred is still on strike. he's happy that alfred's guilt about leaving the work to an increasingly pregnant tim is working out and he's sure that within the weak all will be back to normal on that front.
the rest of the justice league is also in a tight spot. what with tim refusing to call himself a victim or claim coercion.
you can't save someone who doesn't need to be saved.
there's a bridge in tim's heart. one that connects him to bruce. one that lets him feel the calm beat of his heart. one that lets him see and feel how bruce is so...stablized. like a lighthouse on the edge of a cliff being battered by the ocean. he is...secure.
he's not as sharp. his edges have been dulled. there's a softer edge to him, a gentler tone.
he's happy.
he doesn't need to drag his feet anywhere. he's happy.
tim is on the couch beside bruce, staring at the side of his face.
his old camera is in his hands. they've been digging through boxes of old possessions to decorate the nursery with.
bruce is similing.
small, tender, and genuine.
tim snaps a picture and bruce looks over at him, half in surprise.
"what was that for?"
tim thinks of his last life, of all the pictures he ever took of batman with his camera. dark, brooding, vicious, and frightning.
he looks down at the picture of the man and feels something tug inside him.
"i saw something incredible."

What was she even supposed to say to this. Sirius had fucked her over and even more so Talia was still scared of them ending. Yet that was the only logical course, right? A break up. There wasn't much to do but break up once you learned someone was lying about their idea of a future with you. "If you didn't want to deceive me, then why didn't you consider ever telling me the truth the minute you thought they wouldn't renew your visa?" She squeezed her eyes shut for a second, shaking her head. It was one thing to fuck her over, it was another to get caught doing it. And he would have never told her. "God, I'm such an idiot."
Her gaze returned to him at the sound of his protest. His words may have said one thing but his actions seemed to prove that she was right. How could he deny that? The tears made her pause. His resolution only just sending her into a spiral. Her teeth sunk into her lips. This was what she wanted right? For him to feel regretful. But this wasn't what she expected. What she really wanted. His tears, brought an ache to her chest. One she didn't want. Sirius deserved to suffer for what he had done but how come she felt hurt too? This wasn't fair. A frustrated groan escaped her lips as she ran a hang through her hair. "You know this isn't fair for me. You don't just get to drop this on me then say you'll leave." No matter how annoyed she was, even if they did break up she didn't want him gone. "What is this, plan B? You manipulate me again to feel bad for you so I fall for it?" She doubted it. No, Talia knew he wasn't but she was pissed. frustrated. Overall? Just disappointed. "Say you're in the Netherlands," Talia paused, knowing she probably wouldn't like the answer, "how long would it take you to get back here?"
His head hung low with shame. "I never wanted to deceive you. But I know I made that choice without even considering how..." Jesus, he can't even look up to see her face. The immense amount of betrayal she must have felt - to even think she was just a chess piece he moved in order to get what he wanted. How foolish he was upon reflection - taking advantage of the situation was the easy part, keeping up with the lie? Not so much. She jerked away from his touch and he knew in that moment, he could lose her. And Sirius wasn't ready for that.
"No, no, no, no... that's not true," he breathed, willing himself to finally look up and meet her gaze when she spoke about him not taking their relationship seriously. Sirius was desperate for Talia to believe him. "You have never been a means to... to..." Damn it. Sirius was slightly surprised to feel tears running down his face - he rarely shed tears - the last time he cried was when he grieved for his late wife. Sirius moved away slightly from Talia, forcing himself to look at the disdain colouring her features. "I'll cancel the visa." His jaw tightened as he gritted his teeth. His insides had shriveled up, ego crumpled and stamped on, his own dignity trampled by his own stupidity and impulsiveness. "I'll.... I'll have to return to the Netherlands. For the time being." This was the only way he could stop entangling themselves in this mess. He'd have to accept that perhaps when he does eventually step foot again on the American soil, the woman he loves wouldn't be waiting for him here.

Ra's al Ghul Welcomes Cheshire To His island | Young Justice Season 4 Ep...
I kind of...don’t understand the logic of this scene..
Sensei just admitted they manipulated those two girls and now the two girls are going back to what...be unconditioned by their manipulators?
I mean sure Ra’s Al Ghul isn’t working for the Light but that makes me wonder, does he have his own plans. He’s still in cohorts with Vandal Savage since when Child attacked, Vandal was making plans of evacuating all Light agents and even extending that offer to Ra’s. So they aren’t on bad terms.
There are comments underneath the video where people say Ra’s is probably good but Talia is gonna betray him because I guess that’s what she did in the comics, and she took over Leviathan?
Talia doesn’t really seem very happy in the video actually though it’s adorable to see her holding a sleeping Damian.
Jason Todd only said one line in this episode and... I can’t find the video where he talks...tbh he still sounds kinda brainwashed.
Another thing people are saying is that it’s likely Jason didn’t die since the story of Barbara’s crippling change in Young Justice (which I did not like at all), then it’s likely Jason’s ‘death’ has changed too and it’s likely he might’ve been kept from his family thought to be dead. Was possibly tortured. And then Ra’s saved him mirroring how in “Under the Red Hood”, Ra’s took Jason’s body and revived him in the Lazarus Pit. After Jason’s death in Under the Red Hood, Ra’s vowed never to do war with Batman again. Perhaps the same is happing in Young Justice
I don’t mind Ra’s redemption arc...and it would be helpful if Young Justice showed us how Ra’s got to that point...if he is suddenly ‘good’ but I kinda doubt that idk... all of this seems farfetched but creators are probably keeping us in the dark deliberately to get us hooked when the next time the Al Ghuls are said to be on screen for future seasons...if there are future seasons.
And again I don’t mind Ra’s ‘redemption’ too much I guess...though personally, i prefer him a villain
but if they are redeeming him...fuck they better not villainize Talia in turn...
sighs...I get the feeling they are in order to give us the Leviathan arc...
Because Talia does seem very...devious and like she’s plotting something in that episode with how they drew her so idk...
We’ll just have to see I guess...
