hi, i saw your post on tips and rules that you've learned with anxiety and it was extremely helpful, but i was wondering, have you ever been anxious in public? like feeling anxious and getting overwhelming racing thoughts? not in a social anxiety kind of way, just anxious about things you normally worry about coming randomly to you in public, and if so how do you deal with that? (you don't have to answer ofc)
Two interpretations of this; hopefully one of them is helpful for you.
First interpretation: if you mean you start to have an anxiety spiral and you don't have the privacy you normally use to calm down? Yeah, I've had that.
If you can, get headphones and listen to music. Any music works, but I'm a worldbuilder, so putting on something that lines up with a project I'm working on gets me thinking of that project instead of the current spiral.
If you can't use that, and you can't find a way to get privacy, you have to do a little detective work. WHAT is making you anxious? Are you worried about something someone said, and it's spiraling into a crisis of "everyone hates me"? Did you leave something on at home, and now you're going through worst case scenarios? Is there something important coming up, and you can't stop thinking about it? It can be anything, but those are the ones that plague me most.
Step one: Figure out the source of it.
Step two: Once you know what it is, envision two things: The absolute worst that can happen, and the absolute best that can happen. Not just the end result: walk yourself through getting to that point.
Step three: Dismiss both of those, because they're both incredibly unlikely. The most likely thing to happen is something in the middle.
Step four: Focus on that middle outcome and treat it like it's inevitable. How are you going to deal with it when it shows up? The more you think about solutions to that, the more the worst case scenario is going to fade into the background.
It takes a lot of practice.
If, on the other hand, you mean that your thoughts are so fast and that it's making your head spin and your heart race and your stomach feel sick, then distraction is KEY.
Start bringing headphones everywhere and find something on Youtube to listen to. Pick a project that encompasses a lot of thought processes and focus on what you want from it (as I said, I worldbuild, so I'll start thinking of planetary formation or monster classifications). Start counting your steps as you walk from place to place, or the tiles on the ceiling if you can't move.
Neither of these are going to 100% work on the first try. It takes conscious decision to do them, and to stop thinking about the source of your anxiety in the first place. But if you chip away at it and tell yourself that the thing you're worried about isn't that bad, then very slowly, you'll start to believe it.
#you've gotta think of coping mechanisms like medicine#first pill isn't going to get rid of your fever#you've gotta be consistent with it until it's all gone (ie: thinking about coping mechanism only serves to go through the motions)#or else you aren't going to get permanent progress#and some people have better immune systems than others so sometimes it takes less effort#you get what i'm saying?#ask bee#anxiety

WHAT I'VE LEARNED FROM THE MARGINAL
If you ever do find yourself working for a startup that went through really low lows and survived. An idea from one area might spark a great discovery in another.1 Most good mathematicians would work on math even if there were some excessively compact way to phrase something, there would probably also be a longer way. The total effort of reading the Basic program will surely be greater. But we also knew that that didn't mean anything. It's a good thing eBay bought Paypal, for example, you can compose expressions however you want. All parents tend to be idealistic.
So much for hockey as the game is played now.2 Companies building web based apps are similarly protected from Microsoft, which even now doesn't want to imagine a language being too succinct is that if you're against software patents, you're against patents in general. People never say that about me. Almost by definition, if a backup system doesn't rely on the same technology as the primary system.3 At Y Combinator we bet money on that advice. The kind of people who get PhDs in CS don't go into research. More Ideas One idea that I haven't tried yet is to filter based on word pairs see below might well catch this one: cost effective, setup fee, money back—pretty incriminating stuff. In the process of answering an email, and whatever was found on the site could be included in calculating the probability of a group of medium-high quality people and get the desired result. I look at the other end seems especially far away.4
It happens naturally to anyone who does good work. Not heroes, not barbarians. The startup will now do that themselves. If they stepped back and looked at the whole picture they might be less indignant. I'm not saying that struggles are never about ideas, just that they will always be made to seem to be any sort of work I'd prefer? At least, that's the worst thing a startup could do. It will be interesting, in a mild form, an example of that rare bird, a spam that gets through the filters of someone who responds to a spam.5 It's a good thing for the world. To beat Bayesian filters, it would take me several weeks of research to be able to sell some of their own people would rebel. Or we have a new idea you can just sit down and start implementing it.6
Notes
Basically, the bad groups is that the applicant pool gets partitioned by quality rather than by you based on revenues of 1.
Reporters sometimes call a few people have responded to this talk, so I may be the right sort of idea are statistics about the cheapest food available. Bureaucrats manage to allocate research funding moderately well, but getting rich, purely mercenary founders will do that. Even now it's hard to say yet how much would you have to be told what to outsource and what not to have the luxury of choosing among seed investors, is he going to need common sense when interpreting it.
Another tip: If they were still employed in your next round is high, so that's what you're doing is almost always bullshit. Though in a in the same amount of damage to the Pall Mall Gazette.
Which helps explain why there are some whose definition of politics: what they're selling and how unbelievably annoying it is very hard to erase from a company's revenues as the average employee. After a while to avoid that.
But in practice signalling hasn't been much of it. They did turn out to do with the government had little acquired immunity to messianic figures, just as much the better. It's a case in point: lots of search engines and there was a great thing in itself be evidence of spam, but it's hard to compete directly with open source project, but unfortunately not true.
If you're building something for a CEO to make software incompatible. Copyright owners tend to get out of loyalty to the next round, or your job will consist of bad customs as well. 01. B the second component is empty—an idea?

How do Shuu's illnesses impact/affect his day to day life? Do they affect the capacity to which he can fight? (also bonus for Shuunaki sick day hcs)
French fuck’s genes are a burnt omelette so this guy got HEALTH PROBLEMS
When he was younger he had issues with scoliosis which he had surgery to correct when he was in middle school. Because of that he has a small faded scar running down his back. It’s very neat and he’s had any scar removal treatment available to him done, but a slim line remains. He’s a bit self conscious of it and doesn’t like people seeing it
He can’t digest RC in high quantities. Eating a human is fine, a human with high RC would give him a little stomach upset, and a ghoul would leave him wretching. He doesn’t produce enough Rubrupuerase, the enzyme ghouls have that breaks down digested rc cells, so can only take in so much at a time. He needs to stagger his meals, eating a little every day as opposed to how other ghouls would eat half their body weight once every other week. His father has this same problem, and has figured out ways to prepare cuts of meat so it’s easier to digest before Shuu was born. He would show his son the ways he has his servants prepare it as a kid whenever he was worried about eating in case it made him sick. He bonded with his father over it and was inspired to look for his own ways to prepare new delicious meals and his love of crafting food still remains
His immune system and healing isn’t great. Often when ghouls get sick, their body just kamikazes infected cells and regrows. Well with Shuu, he doesn’t have that much RC so any amount of healing is a bit of a strain. Sicknesses that would barely bother others keep him bedridden, and he needs to eat more. In flu season he wears a face mask and everyone in the mansion is instructed to wash their hands religiously. Even the humans they hunt are boiled for a minute before they even start preparing them in case they carried illnesses
His hair color and kagune come from the same genetic mutation, which isn’t a health problem per say, but does effect him. Unlike regular koukaku, his is slender and made up mostly of hard outer shell. This means it’s extra sharp and less heavy, but is also less strong. That’s for the best though, as he would probably struggle to wield a heavier kagune
He’s physically not quite as strong as ghouls usually are. The average ghoul is 7x as strong as a human with their same build, but between adrenal insufficiency, limited RC, and slow healing, Shuu is only about 5x stronger. Of course he’s still going to outmatch his prey by far, but one on one with another ghoul he’s at a disadvantage
Probably the worst thing is his adrenal insufficiency. It’s good that he was born rich because he probably wouldn’t survive if he had to fight and hunt for himself. On the best days he has no problem hunting and fighting, though he isn’t as strong as other ghouls and has a low stamina, requiring him to rest after awhile lest he completely passes out. On the worse days he can get bad pain in his muscles, joints, and stomach that keep him from getting out of bed
He can go for long periods of time with little to no symptoms, or days and weeks of being confined to his room. He takes medications and supplements, he has painkillers for when it’s bad, his fancy ass shower is built so he can sit down in it and he even has a wheelchair to use when walking is too rough, it’s just something he lives with. Thankfully he has the resources he needs and supportive family, it sucks but he’ll be alright
Sick days are usually pretty quiet. If it’s too hard to move around he’ll stay in bed, but if he can stand or at least use the wheelchair he spends a lot of time in the library or the garden. He’s always loved reading, it’s something he was able to do even when he was too ill to move since he was a kid. His father and servants will visit him sever times a day, he has coffee with Matsumae or Kanae if they have the time, but mostly he’s alone
When he and Naki started dating, Naki didn’t understand at first why he took all these pills and got sick so often, and it took awhile for him to really understand that Shuu will always be a little ill and sometimes that means he can’t walk needs to sit down more. He doesn’t understand how it works, only that some days Shuu hurts too much to leave the house. That doesn’t stop him from wanting to be with him though, and has taken to curling up in bed with him on the worse days. Shuu finds it much less lonely to have someone with him who’s there out of more than a sense of duty. His boyfriend will cuddle up and let him read aloud to him instead of just himself, explain his newest obsessions and play his records that he insists sounds so much better than digital music. He feels comfortable having him there, knowing that he has no where else to be and nothing else to do like his servants, not even a duty to be here, that he’s staying with him just because he wants to and doesn’t care that he can’t walk today
Naki is surprisingly good support. He’s figured out the routine enough to bring Shuu his meds in the morning, and if they’re out somewhere together and Shuu starts feeling fatigued he’ll just picking him up like a cat so he doesn’t have to walk. At this point he’s sometimes jokingly introduced as Shuu’s service animal. And while he may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, Naki does want to know how to make things easier for his boyfriend. He washes his hands a lot more thoroughly now when the weather gets cold since he saw the servants to it, and his efforts alone are enough to make Shuu feel better

I had a minecraft dream last night...
This is going to be a long post, but bear eith me, and take the time to read it.
I don't dream about minecraft very often. In fact this might be a first. I'm still in bed while writing this, as im afraid if I wait I'll lose a bunch of the memories.
It involved myself and a few members of the Dream SMP getting sucked into MC. Ironic, I know. Dream, George, Badboyhalo, Tecnoblade, Wilbur Soot, Tommyinnit, and myself. We all looked like our avatars... mostly, and even had some special skills i'll get into later.
To be clear, they were as they are in real life in terms of personality.
I've not watched the dream smp yet... maybe I should start soon. Anyway, side tracked...
The world worked differently than normal MC. It was more realistic, especially the combat and movement. Anything you can do irl you can do here. The drawback was that it made everything harder and more exhausting.
I was dragged in a month before the others, where over the next four weeks, I'd figure out how the lives system works; how difficult movement was; that crafting was nearly the same as normal mc; and how to build.
Five lives. There was a little tracker on the back of your hand, five squares for five lives. Each life you lost, a square would disappear. But it wasnt that simple. Every tine you died you'd feel the affects of the world more. Eating took longer, everything cost more and more realistic amounts of effort, and most importantly... taking damage would actually hurt.
On your first life damage was less of a danger and more of a 'stat' to just be aware of. Getting attacked, shot, exploded next to, ect wasn't too bad. But the more you died the more these things started to get scary. Arrows would tear their way in and ve painful to remove. You'd bleed and have actual wounds that needed care.
By the time the smp members were spawning in, I'd already been reduced to my last life. I was never good at minecraft, though im alright irl with a bow it didnt help much.
You spawn in unconcious. I'd lost my first life that way. I spawned above water. A painless drowning. I hadn't gone back to the ocean since, it scared the fuck out of me.
The first to arrive was Techno. I went back to spawn for the good sheep spawns there. Found him asleep in the grass. He was lucky no creepers had spawned.
Nearly everyone was bigger than me, I'm pretty small, so hauling this guys limp piglin ass all the way to my little safety shack was really hard.
Then Dream and George one after another. Badboy. Tommy... and finally Wilbur.
Wilbur was... a special case. He was a ghost. Just like his ghostbur skin had been. Fully awake, really freaking out. I was near collapsing from taking everyone else to my home, wasnt really much of a comfort, but I at least managed to convince him to come with me after the sun started to dip.
When we got back Wilbur helped me make beds. Couldn't have everyone sleeping propped up against the walls... Wilbur couldn't grab anything, but he could open and close chests. He also found out he could manafest things like his guitar, and a plushie orca. Things that made him a little less anxious. It was nice to hear music again.
I didnt get to talk to him long. We finished the beds, put everyone on one, then I immediatly konked the fuck out over the crafting table.
By the time I woke up, everyone was already awake and talking. The typical suspects. Why are we here, how, what happened, is this even real. You get the picture. I guess usually social anxiety, especially in the presence of people I admire so much, would've been a big stressor but after a month alone in this world I damn near started bawling at the thought of someone else even existing.
I told them all I know. We are stuck here, we have lives, dont fucking lose them it makes the game harder. The physics are just as janky as regular minecraft, mobs are much more articulated, armour actually has weight and at this point I wasnt aware of the little buffs everyone had to a particular skill.
Dream was incredibly good at exploiting the game's wonky system and parkouring, even of he couldnt nessesarily do it irl.
Techno was suddenly extremely knowledgeable about combat and could handle most weapons effectively. He was also a piglin-type guy which made him immune to fire.
George's coding skills translated directly into redstone knowledge, letting him build ridiculous machines with enough respources.
Tommy had incredible luck with loot and generally got good enchants.
And Bad was, thanks to his skin, some form of demonic entity and would be completely ignored by most hostile mobs.
Wilbur, as you know, was a ghost who could phase through anything and summon ghostly items.
We didn't find out everyone's special trait immediatly, of course. It happened over many days of trail and error trying to collect resources, build, and have fun.
Turns out my skill was useless by myself, hence why I never found it before they arrived. Anything I gave to another person was twice as effective. Healing items helped more, food would fill them on smaller portions, armour would get a free temporary enchant depending on what they needed.
I'd never liked playing minecraft alone.
I'm losing some of the dream, I shoukd wtite some bullet points down or this post will be miles long.
Tommy accidently befriended a wolf, he named it Wilbur to mess with Wilbur. We had two Wilburs.
Bad was constantly driven up the wall by peoples language but truly was using it as a coping mechanism early on because he was afraid of being stuck here forever. We made sure to swear occasionally so he'd get the oportunity to yell at us.
Techno lost his first life when a creeper blast threw him directly into Dream's sword.
Dream never got over it.
Wilbur started making more songs and even made a few targetted at the groups adventures.
Wilbur descovered if he goes into the floor he cant tell which was is up, this terrified him, he never went underground again.
George made automatic farms and eventually even non-minecraft typical things like a morning alarm clock, a compass that pointed to the nearest village, and invented new armour that was more lightweight but still protective.
Wilbur the wolf regularly barked at and mauled giant spiders before they got anywhere near the house, much to literally everyone's relief.
Bad learned how to read and write enchanting table symbols.
I taught Dream how to repair his clothes and in return he showed me how to build traps.
Techno learned he could talk hoglin, piglin, and villager.
Bad learned he could stare at endermen and mistakingly assumed everyone could so he told everyone else its ok to do so.
Tommy lost his first life to an enderman.
Wilbur worked with george for a whole week on special gloves that would let him touch stuff.
I took an arrow dangerously close to the lungs after Tomny's first respawn trying to bring him home.
Dream realised he couldn't take off his mask and wished he could see the world normally again, nobody knew what his vision was like.
Bad descovered a joy for cooking.
Bad also tamed a cat and named it Muffin.
Muffin the cat would ride Wilbur the wolf around.
Dream lost his first life to hunger after pushing himself for too long.
Techno took a wrong step in the neather and lost his second life to a seriously long fall.
I never knew what I looked like...
Tommy lost his second life being overrun by zombies without a weapon. We made a rule to never leave the house alone after this many deaths.
Bad descovered pretty late that milk is poisonous to him and thus cakes will kill him. He lost a life to cake. He was devastated.
Tommy built a cute campfire. He and Wilbur would mess around singing at it. Wolf Wilbur thoroughly enjoyed this.
I would stay up most of the night watching everyone sleep because I worried the house could get invaded or surrounded. They found out after Phantoms started spawning and made a rule that at least one of then would stay awake at night to make me feel better.
George built Dream an obstacle course with lots of moving parts and such. He ran it every morning.
I learned how to play guitar from Wilbur at the campfire.
Torches never burnt out after they arrived. No idea why.
That's all I can remember...
It was a hard dream, I was sad and angry sometimes... but the happy moments made it worth it.
I hope I return to that dream someday.

That's a great way to describe the nature of human nature. A lot of our instincts stem from useful shortcuts like that.
Human brains didn't evolve to handle the vast interconnectivity, complexity, and nuance of the modern world. Hell, the brain can't even really handle more than ~150 meaningful personal connections.
We operate deeply by back-of-the-napkin heuristics that solve our early evolutionary problems, but they're not very accurate. It's easier to get it right 70% of the time in one second than it is to get it right 100% of the time in thirty seconds. When a snowball (or lion) is flying at your face, moving at all is better than sitting around while you verify the threat's trajectory precisely.
Unfortunately, our tendency to align with those around us (a convenient heuristic sometimes still) isn't the sole problem here.
Some of these heuristics/instincts are naturally buffered. For example, one might imagine that the tendency (or inevitability) for people to bifurcate and fracture larger groups into less-than-150 sized groups is enough to minimize the problem, but just because it feels fine doesn't mean the result is fine. We form tribes on the spot for all sorts of reasons. Team A, Team B. My group, your group. Soccer teams, military platoons. Clades of styles and habits bloom and wither like algae tides. As a species, we crave that aspect of tribalism so deeply that sometimes a well placed "us" and a weaseled in "them" is enough to draw the lines that become a riot. This tendency can be positive sometimes (sometimes), sure.
What about our tendency to over-value sugar in a world where calories are no longer worth storing? That is a known-and-visible problem, isn't it? And how about the fact that a single mouse-click can show you more naked ladies than one's ancestors saw in their entire life - multiples more, in fact? It seems obvious that distorting such critically important evolutionary impulses miiiiight muddy the waters a bit even if we allow ourselves to believe that we handle it fine, that all is well, or that it's even somehow ideal.
Even these examples of specific and "obvious" discrepancies between our bioevolutionary hardware and our socio-technological elevation is a small enough as an idea to share with a stranger over a beer. The Real Heavy Shit™ is so unwieldy that a scientist-philosopher would struggle to gaze at directly, let alone transmit to others in a format smaller than a series of structured TedTalks.
The reasons for the issues we're facing (and in a sense have always faced) are myriad, but in recent times I think a new dynamic has been born, magnified, then bootstrapped itself into life beneath our notice - all within a single human generation. Information has become a danger to us. Any information. It is an emergent property that rises from the quasi-computational substrate of human social interaction.
Problem: When the complexity of an idea rises above the level of one's ability to conceptualize the 'entire thing' at once, we have to take the parts we can't see on faith.
With the proper framework, foundation, and a well-trained instinct this isn't an entirely disruptive phenomenon - it's even obvious and expected, right? One cannot hold the entire subject of 'science' in their head at one time. One cannot even hold the entirety of 'geology'. And even if one could, you'd be unable to truly understand geologic mechanisms without understanding that the elements that make all those fancy rocks came from dynamics that stem from astrophysics.
These things cannot be held, but they can be traced and compared and tested (if someone cares to do so in the first place). Even then, misconceptions easily bloom like cancers in the absence of an effort to validate.
Now consider the idea of an informational construct that is not so easily proven by mere effort and time. Imagine one that isn't built specifically to avoid misconception like science is. (which - unfortunately - still results in vast misconceptions by layman and scientist alike). When we cannot hold an idea in our head from start-to-finish, we also cannot verify that it exists distinct from itself at all. One can't tell a snake from an ouroborous. And unless you have something to compare it to, reference it against, the difference between a cancer and an organ is negligible. It's only in the context of an organism that a cancer is even harmful, even deadly. A cancerous tumor, viewed in a vacuum, is - for lack of a better term - successful as fuck at what it's doing... Perpetuating itself at all costs, regardless of benefit, regardless of consequence.
Ideas are not just informational nuggets. They're active, living systems which 'compete' not unlike living creatures do through the rules of their unique brand of quasi-evolutionary pressures. Ideas are both organs and cancers. And when billions of thinking beings are unable to easily determine the difference between an organ and a cancer, well... It's not so difficult to imagine that problems might arise.
To the elucidated or aware, it's horrifying to see someone running around trying to share a poison with others, claiming it to be something it is not. It's confusing to imagine how such a delusion can not only exist at all, but to spread with a veracity greater - far greater - than Real Deal truths. I will admit that part of that is because these sort of ideas empower the thinker. Real truths are either boring or frightening (or both). Aliens and crystals, gods and secret societies are so much more comforting than acknowledging that nobody is really at the wheel, that society is a ship in a storm rocked by systems - hydrodynamics, meteorological - far too complex to grasp, far too large to be defeated by comparatively meek human drives.
There's certainly more than one reason that someone interested in particular subjects (flat earth, for example) tend to also be interested in toxic conservative politics, religion, ancient aliens, so on. Many of these sort of meme-laden ideas are fundamentally incompatible with each other, yet you commonly find them in the same place. I personally use invented terms like "psychological antivirus/firewalls" since the concept of common sense alone doesn't have the load-bearing capacity to address this level of metastasized information.
Again -- A cancer is successful in a vacuum. It is optimized for relentless growth in absence of both usefulness and sustainability. Modern pressures (namely a social density vastly greater than what our brains can handle and the fast-paced war-for-attention nature of the internet) are now selecting ideas not for value or consistency, but transmissability.
Close your eyes and apply this metaphor to the rest of the world. Taste the horror of this truth, then consider that the issue can barely be described at all, let alone compressed down and shared to the world like some sort of hotfix. Following the metaphor, it'd be like writing a well-worded essay to convince your immune system to recognize an autoimmune disorder. You can't "Hey, bud. We need to have a talk." to a virus.
Christ, we can't even convince people to vaccinate against an actual virus that can be seen and verified as both real and harmful. This informational plague of idea-viruses is not only not-visible, hidden by abstraction, too recent to be intuitive, too large to even be named - some are seen by its victims as positive, absolute, worthy of defending with one's life even as one denies it exists at all.
Unfortunately, even this is just one of the many reasons why/how the modern world is simply too much for the smart apes known as homo sapiens.
TL;DR - Modern pressures (namely a social density vastly greater than what our brains can handle and the fast-paced war-for-attention nature of the internet) are now selecting ideas not for value or consistency, but transmissability. Some people are more ideal as carriers and vectors than others, but most of us have felt the sensation of being drawn into something or slowly waking up from a stupor we were born into.

The Great Reset Demands Firing All Unvaccinated Employees Analysis by Dr. Joseph Mercola
Story at-a-glance
The Great Reset has been called a conspiracy theory by many, despite specific plans published on the World Economic Forum (WEF) website and partnerships between the WEF and global organizations like the United Nations and World Health Organization
An investigative report asserts that the ongoing restructuring of processes that control food and data are upending traditional practices so private corporations have more control and influence than democratically elected government
A part of the Great Reset is a reset of the economy, including jobs. Many across the U.S. are facing unemployment if they do not choose to take a genetic therapy experiment in the form of a COVID-19 vaccine
Employees of six major hospitals in Cincinnati, Ohio, have filed a lawsuit, hoping to stop the mandated vaccine, which health experts are promoting with inconsistent messages, first claiming it does not stop community transmission; yet, requiring it for employment under the guise of preventing the spread of infection
Over the past year and a half, I’ve written many articles detailing the evidence supporting the claim that the COVID pandemic is a ruse to usher in a new system of global centralized governance by unelected leaders, the so-called Great Reset.
The recent release of the House Foreign Affairs Committee report1 entitled, “The Origins of COVID-19: An Investigation of the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” presented solid evidence that many of the “conspiracy theories” about the virus were in fact true. For example, using some intelligence reports and other public documents, the committee found that:2
“… we now believe it’s time to completely dismiss the wet market as the source of the outbreak. We also believe the preponderance of the evidence proves the virus did leak from the WIV and that it did so sometime before September 12, 2019.”
They presented evidence of genetic modification and wrote this:3
“This report also lays out ample evidence that researchers at the WIV, in conjunction with U.S. scientists and funded by both the PRC [People’s Republic of China] government and the U.S. government, were conducting gain of-function research on coronaviruses at the WIV …
In many instances, the scientists were successful in creating 'chimeric viruses' — or viruses created from the pieces of other viruses — that could infect human immune systems.
With dangerous research like this conducted at safety levels similar to a dentist’s office, a natural or genetically modified virus could have easily escaped the lab and infected the community.”
The idea of the Great Reset may feel like a conspiracy theory, especially if life as you know it where you live has not dramatically changed. You still go to work, buy food, go to the gym, go out to eat and attend events. There may be people wearing masks, and you may see or hear news reports about vaccine mandates and vaccine passports, but it hasn’t reached your employer and you may not be personally affected … yet.
But, make no mistake, unless we all do our part to peacefully protest the changes being planned, write to our legislatures, and talk to our neighbors and friends, what is happening in New York,4 France,5 Germany6 and Israel,7 will soon be knocking on your front door.
Does ‘Great Reset’ Sound Like a Conspiracy? It May Be Worse
An article titled, “Welcome To 2030: I Own Nothing, Have No Privacy and Life Has Never Been Better” appeared in Forbes Magazine8 in November 2016. It was written by Ida Auken, a member of the Denmark Parliament9 and agenda contributor at the World Economic Forum (WEF).10
The article was frightening in the simplistic way it describes the dissolution of society as we know it. And, as time marches forward, we see more evidence of what the WEF has proposed as “perfect sense”11 coming true.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau suggested in September 2020 what other world leaders have also promoted12 — that the COVID-19 virus, that has killed and devastated the health of many people, provided the world is an:13
"… opportunity for a reset ... our chance to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts to re-imagine economic systems that actually address global challenges like extreme poverty, inequality and climate change."
More than 20 world leaders came together to suggest, "At a time when COVID-19 has exploited our weaknesses and divisions, we must seize this opportunity and come together as a global community for peaceful cooperation that extends beyond this crisis."14 And while that sounds noble, altruistic and humanitarian, it is the plan for the future that is in stark contrast to the statement.
Ivan Wecke, a journalist from Open Democracy, did a deep dive into some of what lies behind the WEF’s Great Reset plan and found what he called something “almost as sinister hiding in plain sight. In fact, more sinister because it’s real and it’s happening now. And it involves things as fundamental as our food, our data and our vaccines.”15
Although Wecke discounts the plans of the Great Reset to abolish private property, use the virus to solve overpopulation and enslave the remainder of humanity as “nebulous and hard to pin down,” he goes on to illustrate in detail how the fundamental structure of the world that controls food and data, and ultimately humanity, is being upended and restructured so that private corporations have more control and influence than governments.
WEF Calls It ‘Stakeholder Capitalism’
It comes down to “stakeholder capitalism,” which are the magic words that Klaus Schwab, WEF chairman, has been promoting for decades, and is a central theme in the organization's Great Reset plan.16 The concept as Wecke describes it is to transform global capitalism, so corporations create value for stakeholders.17
These stakeholders can be consumers, employees, communities and others. This will be carried out through multi-stakeholder partnerships of governments and private-sector businesses across the globe. As he dug deeper into the concept, it became more apparent that this means giving corporations more power and taking that influence away from democratically elected institutions.
The initial plan was drafted after the 2008 economic crisis and included the vision that governments around the world would be only one influencer in a multi-stakeholder model. When he asked himself who would be the other nongovernmental stakeholders, Wecke only had to look at the WEF partners that meet each year in Davos, Switzerland.
These partners are some of the biggest companies in oil, food, technology and pharmaceuticals. In other words, the companies that could ultimately restructure society and control the supply chain are those that provide everyday necessities. These proposed concepts appear to have started taking shape in a strategic partnership agreement which the WEF signed with the United Nations in 2019.
Harris Gleckman, senior fellow at the Center for Governance and Sustainability from the University of Massachusetts18 calls this move an inroad to creating a place for corporations inside the United Nations.19
The WEF is using the concept of multi-stakeholders to change the current system that countries use today to work together. This multilateral system may not always be effective and may have too many layers of bureaucracy, but Wecke says it is “theoretically democratic because it brings together democratically elected leaders of countries to make decisions in the global arena.”20
Big Tech May Run the Roadmap for Digital Cooperation
What’s really happening here, though, is the move toward placing unelected stakeholders in positions of power does not deepen democracy but, rather, puts decision making in the hands of financially focused corporations. As Wecke points out, this will have real-world implications for how medications are distributed, food systems are organized and how Big Tech is governed.
Under a democratic rule of law, six corporations already control 90% of the news media consumed by Americans. Tech Startups calls this an “illusion of choice and objectivity.”21 How much more propaganda will be thrown in the face of consumers when Big Tech is monitoring and controlling Big Tech?
The year 2030 holds significance for the WEF’s vision22 which is to scale technology and facilitate “inclusive growth.” In the fall of 2021, the UN will bring together the Food Systems Summit to achieve sustainable development goals by 2030.23 Yet, Sofia Monsalve of FIAN International, a human rights organization focused on food and nutrition, told Wecke:24
“’Abandoning pesticides is not on the table. How come?’ asks Sofia Monsalve of FIAN International, a human rights organisation focused on food and nutrition.
'There is no discussion on land concentration or holding companies accountable for their environmental and labour abuses.’ This fits into a bigger picture Monsalve sees of large corporations, which dominate the food sector, being reluctant to fix the production system. ‘They just want to come up with new investment opportunities.’”
Wecke also dug into a long list of participants in the 2020 Roadmap For Digital Cooperation25 and found influencers included Microsoft, Google, Facebook and the WEF.26 The functions for the group appear to be vague, but if the group comes to fruition, it will be a decisive victory for those Big Tech companies that have been pushing to expand their power,27 are fighting antitrust rules28 and are facing accusations of tax evasion.29
The move by the UN and WEF has not gone unnoticed. A group of more than 170 civil organizations have signed an open letter30 detailing why they oppose the plan. At a time when stronger regulations are needed to protect consumers, it appears that the new UN digital roadmap may be seeking less.
Firing the Unvaccinated Is the Start of the Great Job Reset
Finally, Wecke addresses the issue of global vaccine distribution.31 Instead of the World Health Organization, which is “the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system,”32 being responsible for vaccine access, another initiative was created called COVAX. According to the WHO, COVAX is co-led by the WHO, UNICEF, CEPI and GAVI.33
As a quick reminder, GAVI (the Vaccine Alliance) and CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations) have strong ties with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the WEF and are connected with large pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, AstraZeneca and more.34
The influence these groups have on the global distribution of the COVID vaccine may have been best illustrated when South Africa and India requested a temporary lift on the rules governing intellectual property to increase manufacturing and distribution to developing countries. Wecke reports35 that although the WHO director-general publicly said that he backed a proposal, others in the COVAX initiative strongly opposed it, and it didn’t happen.
There appears to be enough vaccines available in industrialized nations for the WEF to support any and all employees being fired if they choose not to take the vaccine. The National File36 published a tweet the WEF made in May 2021 which said, “Get your COVID-19 jab — or you could face consequences from your employer #COVID19 #JobsReset21.”
Additionally, the WEF had posted an article37 on their website that made a variety of claims about the percentage of companies that would require employees to be vaccinated and juxtaposed mental health concerns and burnout through the pandemic with being unvaccinated in the article.
After intense backlash, the tweet was deleted and replaced with a question, “Will employees be required to get the COVID-19 vaccination?”38 The new post quickly filled with screen shots of the original post.
Two Cities Promising to Fire Employees
Even before the FDA announced their approval of the Pfizer vaccine,39 Cincinnati, Ohio, area hospital systems had announced that starting October 1, 2021, all health care workers and volunteers are required to be vaccinated. Among those participating in the vaccine mandate are the University of Cincinnati Health, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the Christ Hospital Health Network.40
Health care workers in Cincinnati have now filed a lawsuit against six of the hospital systems saying requiring vaccines for employment is unlawful and violates workers’ Constitutional rights. The lawsuit says, "When there was no vaccine, the workers had to go to work. They were heroes. Now that there is a vaccine, they have to get the vaccine or be fired. Now they are ‘zeros.’"41
April Hoskins is a lab assistant at St. Elizabeth Edgewood who has worked for 20 years in family practice and hospital oncology. She told a reporter from WLWT5,42 "You've trusted us this whole time to take care of these patients, unvaccinated, without the proper PPE. And now out of nowhere, you have to get it or you're going to be terminated? Like, something is wrong with that picture.”
August 23, 2021, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that all public school teachers and staff would be required to have at least one dose of the vaccine by September 27, 2021, or they would no longer have a job. Not soon afterward, the United Federation of Teachers union issued a statement from union president Michael Mulgrew reiterating their desire and priority to keep the students and teachers safe. He went on to say:43
“While the city is asserting its legal authority to establish this mandate, there are many implementation details, including provisions for medical exceptions, that by law must be negotiated with the UFT and other unions, and if necessary, resolved by arbitration."
It Is Important to Point Out the Inconsistencies
This was the second announcement from de Blasio, who first mandated vaccinations for approximately 400,000 employees in the Department of Education, New York Police Department and the Fire Department of New York.44 In tandem with New York, California Long Beach Unified School District also announced mandatory vaccinations, as has Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot for all Chicago Public School employees by October 15, 2021.
New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy also announced mandatory vaccinations or twice-weekly testing requirements for all state employees, effective October 18. It is clear that as different states and municipalities add their own mandates, it’s essential to be aware of what is happening in your local and regional areas, as well as to speak up at public meetings and demand public hearings on the matter.
The mayor of Orland Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, describes an example of how decisions behind closed doors can have a different outcome than those in public.45 He also says what is happening now is about “our processes, Constitutionality and the rule of law.”
The inconsistencies from health experts are deafening. Even the World Health Organization advises people who are vaccinated to continue wearing masks due to the Delta variant because “vaccine alone won’t stop community transmission.”46 Simultaneously, the public is told that everyone needs the vaccine to prevent spread of the infection47 and if you have the vaccine, you can still spread the virus and put others at risk.48
Each person has a responsibility to speak up, share information and ensure that as people make up their minds about vaccination, vaccine passports, civil liberties and the right to free speech, they have all the information they need and not just what’s shared in mainstream media.
To that end, I encourage you to share my articles with your friends and family. As you know, they are removed from the website 48 hours after publication. Please copy and paste the information, with the sources, and share it!

Vegetables are healthy, we already know this, but our kids don’t necessarily understand this. This is why it can sometimes be an uphill battle to get them to willingly consume fruits and vegetables regularly. But, not all plants were created equal! When people think about encouraging children to consume more plant-based food, they automatically assume that fruits and vegetables are of equal importance to the body. While your kids definitely need both to maintain healthy bodies, the body’s need for vegetables far surpasses its need for fruit. You don’t need nearly half as many apples as you do broccoli. So in this article, I’m going to focus more on how to sneakily get the kids eating more vegetables, and if need be, consuming a little more fruit as well. Now how do you go about this? I’ll admit, I’ve tried a few methods over the years, and a few have worked to varying degrees. Of those that have yielded positive results, the following have been the most successful in my opinion for my family and I.
1. Normalize it
Humans pick up habits by being exposed to things, and picking up the habit of eating vegetables is no different. The more kids see vegetables and fruits, the more they normalize the idea of having them at the dinner table, having them on their plates, and generally having them as part of their diet. It follows that they’re less likely to think eating vegetables is gross, if they see everyone around them doing it, which is why it’s also important for your kids to see you eating vegetables. Impressionable youngsters repeat action simply because they are done by someone older, and eating healthy is no exception. If you do it, they’re going to do it too.
2. Don’t give up easily
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again. Don’t give up on your little ones the minute they tell you they don’t want to eat a certain fruit or vegetable. Present them with the same food over and over and over again and eventually they’ll be inclined to give it a try. Few children will actually taste a certain vegetable the first time it’s given to them, let alone like it enough to keep eating it. And the same is true for adults as well, we’re less inclined to like something if it still tastes foreign to us. The trick to fighting against this, is to keep trying the food until you get used to the taste. Maybe it will be on the thirtieth try that your little one finally gives eggplant a bite. and they most likely won’t like it, but maybe it will be after trying it six more times that the taste begins to grow on them and they start to tolerate or maybe even enjoy the taste of it. My point is this, don’t be so quick to give up on certain food items simply because your child expressed dislike for them or refused to try them a few times. It takes a long time and ‘practice’ to build a habit, but you will get there.
3. Dangle a carrot in front of them
This one is more of a bait trick, you start them off on something more palatable and eventually build up to the less ‘tasty’ vegetables. Fruits are naturally sweeter than vegetables, so you stand a better chance of success by starting your kids off on fruits as a regular part of their diet. They can enjoy them as snacks, dessert or as integral parts of breakfast. Once they get into the habit of eating fruits, you can slowly start replacing some fruits with vegetables, or mixing the two in dishes until the idea of vegetables too is no longer foreign. The important thing to remember here though is that too much fruit is actually bad for your little one’s health. The main sugar in fruit, fructose, is difficult to digest and absorb in large quantities and this can lead to negative effects such as bloating, irritable bowel syndrome and result in sugar cravings. I can also lead to unnecessary weight gain, sugars are sugars after all.
4. Encourage a positive attitude towards food
It’s important for your children to have a genuine appreciation of food. Not just fruits and vegetables, everything that is put before them to eat. There must be respect and appreciation towards the person who has put in the time and effort to prepare their meal. It’s also very important for them to understand that food is not a toy, and eating is not a hobby. When children understand the importance of food and different types of food (in this case vegetables and fruit) they are more likely to be more thoughtful before they reject certain food items. If they understand the importance of vegetables in their diet for their body, then they’ll think twice before pushing them aside on their plates. If they are active in sport, let them know about the importance of fruits and vegetables for the immune system. It sounds like subtle blackmail but it works.
5. Teach the farm to table approach
Educating children about where their fruits and veggies comes from will not only improve their general understanding (which is never a bad thing) but it will also make them more likely to eat the fresh produce presented to them out of sheer curiosity and appreciation. Go through botany books with them, take them on farm tours or better still create a garden. Okay, maybe gardens aren’t for everyone, what with the space they take up and all. Perhaps a windowsill herb garden would be better suited to your living arrangements. Anyway, after having grown their own vegetables or fruit or herbs, they’re more likely to eat them. Everyone wants to taste the literal fruits of their labour.
6. They’ll eat it if they cooked it
As a follow up on the fruits of their labour point, if they had to put in time and effort into preparing their fruits and vegetables either for a meal or a snacks, chances are they’re going to want to eat those fruits and vegetables. Get them involved in prepping the vegetables or cooking them, cultivating a sense of responsibility and pride in their work. The cooking or prepping process becomes the challenge and eating the fruits and vegetables becomes the reward.
7. Get creative with presentation
We eat with our eyes, we are visual creatures. If it looks good, chances are your kids will eat it. Sometimes the easiest way to get a child interested in eating something is to present it to them in a fun and creative way. Instead of giving them whole fruits you could cut them into little shapes or instead of plopping a bowl of vegetables in front of them, you could serve them on a skewer. Instead of having one colour of vegetable on the side of the plate, you could try using different vegetables to create a variety of colours just to make it look more interesting.
8. Conceal them
And if all else fails, employing some good old subterfuge always gets the job done. Add in a few extra vegetables in certain recipes, or substitute vegetables for meat in other recipes. Be sneaky about it, hide them in ways that they can’t immediately tell by looking at the food. Of course, it always helps if you can make the food taste great as well, the more the kids associate the vegetables with a good taste, the more they’ll want to eat them. You can let them know after they’ve eaten their disguised meal that they were actually extra vegetables or substituted vegetables in their food. It’ll reinforce the idea that vegetables don’t taste bad, and if you’ve achieved that, you’ve won half the race. Basically, there’s no super-easy way of doing it, and some methods work better on some children than others. The most important thing is that you try because the value of vegetables and fruits to the health of your children is immeasurable. It’s okay to coerce them a little, to use a few tricks to get them eating healthy. And if you use a whole lot of the tips above, at least one is bound to work for you.

@bnjmin sent ❛ 🍍 (obligatory to send this one) 🍏 🍎🍊🥝 for all ❜
⤑ FRUIT HEADCANONS
you’re really making me add this to a read more, huh.
🍍 : how comfortable is my muse in their body? how do they feel about their height, weight, strength, and body type? how important is being attractive to them?
raleigh: yeah, he’s not. he hates looking at a mirror. out of his insecurities, his height gets to him the worse. while barely below average at 5′8, he becomes one of the shorter men within a group. doesn’t help when his younger brother became taller than him or even his youngest sister being taller in heels. he was also the weakest of his siblings when they got older, though he doesn’t make too much effort gaining muscle. only enough to keep lean and not too tired looking. despite his insecurities about his appearance, he is low maintenance when it to looking attractive. in fact, his insecurities block how others consider him attractive, puzzled when someone does mention such; it’s just pity for him. so yeah, the most insecure about his body but the least caring about attractiveness.
liz: yeah, very comfortable. too comfortable. a big portion of her attire is meant to show off her body, knowing she looks good... and people definitely pay attention to that. still, like raleigh, she does have some insecurity about her height. instead of drowning in said insecurity, she alters how people view her height, to the point people blink at figuring out she’s 5′2; it’s the same at minimal curves, considering she enjoys viewing curves on other women. she does the most to portray her attractive features through her attire and confidence, knowing it pays off. but, again, it’s less on insecurities or even as much on manipulation anymore; it’s simply a preference.
jamie: despite his job as a fitness trainer, he’s smaller than his football years. he won’t gain those muscles of his college prime again, and he does look back with a twang of guilt, even if some of it wasn’t in his control. after his injury, he lost a lot of weight he’s beginning to gain back. he also had a smaller figure during his teenage years that brought insecurities, especially his braces, until he grew several inches and boarder shoulders right before his senior year. he also made a drastic change in his outfits to better fit his fitness now rather than the southern style of his former years. he’s the most cautious on his attire because of his insecurities, despite acting confident about it.
maddie: due to societal standards on plus size, she does have insecurities about her weight. but even jamie & liz, one in fitness and the other much smaller, ensure her she doesn’t need to worry about such; she’s just board built and curved like a spencer. but her conservative clothes, especially compared to her sister, hints of her hiding herself, though her personality outshines those internal feelings. she can feel insecure of her height as well, since it throws of men shorter than her, but she’s gotten more comfortable with that aspect of her.
🍏 : how stable is my muse’s physical health? do they go for regular or semi-regular checkups by a physician? do they have any diagnosed illnesses and / or take any medication? how often do they get sick?
raleigh: unless his slight limp from his leg injury counts, then he doesn’t have any health issues, and never really did. so far, his seasonal allergies haven’t occurred in la, though he has his allergy medicine just in case he gets stuffy like he did in the carolina autumn. otherwise, he’s quite healthy. besides being, well, a surgeon, he does get checkups.
liz: generally, she’s healthy. she may get the sniffles or a cold during the winter seasons, but nothing she can’t recover from by the next couple days. however, her reproductive organs cannot reproduce. she was diagnosed with primary ovarian insufficiency at 16, since she never experienced her natural period. the doctors are not sure the source of the condition, though it’s potentially a genetic defect once amenorrhea and/or being underweight was ruled out. so she had taken estrogen & continues taking calcium and vitamin d supplements to avoid bone loss. besides more common dryness during sex that lube fixes, she doesn’t think often about the condition; she’s never wanted children to begin with and knew her career would define her anyways.
jamie: oh boy. so his childhood was bombarded with health issues. the main two were chicken pox & tonsillitis, which weakened his immune system. once his tonsils were removed, his health started to get better, where he was able to stay outside without high risk of getting sick. still, his immune system isn’t the best, and will get a sinus infection or the flu (if he doesn’t get his shot in time) each year. then, there’s his concussions, his single ear deafness, and other injuries. throughout horseback riding, he has broken a wrist and a couple concussion. for football, there’s his rotator cuff, sprained ankles, and his deafness in his right ear, though he’s been hoh since the fall from the cliff with raleigh. the lining of his stomach is also weak from alcohol, so he’s careful about any foods that could erupt it. despite having the healthiest lifestyle (now), he’s the least healthiest.
maddie: she had appendicitis, and had her appendix removed. but other than that, she’s been pretty healthy, similar to raleigh. out of the four, though, she goes to doctors least, and haven’t been to a checkup for awhile.
🍎 : how stable is my muse’s mental health? have they been diagnosed with any mental illnesses and / or conditions? do they have any undiagnosed mental illnesses and / or conditions? do they or should they attend therapy?
they all need therapy.
raleigh: besides extreme insecurities and bouts of depression, he’s pretty stable. his stress levels can get high, which heightens his insecurities and anxiety about how other people view, which spark his depression. he has been diagnosed with depression during med school, and goes back & forth to therapy when he feels worse about it. but he’s done better since he has a more stable life, instead of the turbulence during his parents’ divorce.
liz: most of liz’s mental state come from her fears. while, yes, she is scared of snow & water, those are two factors that trigger her claustrophobia; elevators and not being able to see a way out of tight spaces trigger it as well. the source came from her nearly drowning in the lake as a child, and has been struggling since then. she has gone to therapy for her infertility as a teenager, but not much happened during the sessions with the minimal talking on liz’s side. but she should go back to have someone to guide her about opening up & her trust issues, since it does cause issues in relationships. and, no, while particular on cleaning, she does not have ocd.
jamie: his multiple of concussion enhance his recklessness & behavior. and his alcohol intake did alter his decision making & temper as well. he was diagnosed with alcoholism, and went to aa meetings for a couple years. he still goes to therapy, though continues to have anger issues. when he was a child, people did think he had adhd, once he gotten out of his shell from the health issues, but doctors did not think he had adhd & was just simply hyper.
maddie: she’s the most stable of them all. she’s open about her feelings to people; she probably opens up too much. and, while she can get sad or mad about certain aspects of her life, it doesn’t halt her life. she doesn’t go to therapy, but she’ll do fine at it when talking in general helps her.
🍊 : does my muse desire romance? is it something they would actively seek out, or prefer to happen more ‘ naturally? ’ what is their love life like? do they have any exes or past flings, or crushes?
raleigh: it’s less about romance than having a partner when raising a family that will stay long term. because he really wants a family and kids. which, due to his clueless, the romance will have to happen naturally and the other person has to seek him out. he has dated here and there, but nothing that amounted to anything beyond a first date; sometimes, he’ll go get coffee with someone and not realize it was a date until a week later, so... but he does have two exs, one in high school and another from undergrad, which is mentioned in this timeline. and he did have a crush on his friend tessa, but it died down when they both decided to remain friends.
liz: no. not romance, and 9/10 she ghosts someone the minute they think anything between her is getting serious, with examples in her timeline. it’s the opposite of one night stands, she does not seek out romance at all. gross. she doesn’t have time for that.
jamie: similar to raleigh, he wants a family in the near future, though wants to settle into his life a little bit more, knowing how rough his past will work to a future spouse. he’s a good 50/50 on seeking out dates and letting it happen more naturally; it will be more naturally with men while he controls the flirtation with women. he has several exs and old flings and crushes, but the most noticeable is lillian irene, a dance major he dated throughout college... even if he wasn’t the most faithful and she deserved so much better than him; still, she helped him sober up even after the officially broke up their relationship. oh, and his main celebrity crushes as a teenager were britney spears & jennifer beals... who lillian irene had close resemblance to...
maddie: she enjoys dating and being romantic, but it’s something that’s casual as she’s still exploring the world. while she seeks out dates, she also seeks out the friends and just enjoys knowing other people. she doesn’t understand how liz can have one night stands, since sex for maddie means close attachment and romance.
🥝 : does my muse have any ‘ unusual ’ habits, interests, and / or talents? do they hide it, or are they proud of it?
raleigh: he has some obscure science fiction books that have a special place on his bookshelf, but those have a personal connection to him coming from his piano instructor / role model. but a lot of his interests are pretty mainstream in terms of star wars & whatnot, even if they were as much as a child.
liz: her most unusual will have to be her random construction projects. this started with raleigh’s legos as a kid, and of course expanded to her engineering career. but she still have her designs of buildings or computer codes or airplanes in her free time, and, once she has the space for it, will experiment on building her own car engine or whatever she can assemble in a garage and may get a few patens in her later life. while not too unusual, it’s more of a shock that someone as “feminine” as her would do something so “masculine.” because, while she doesn’t hide it, she doesn’t promote it either.
jamie: he dances, or he can dance well. which makes sense, with his ex being a professional dancer & needing to impress her. but, still, it wasn’t hard to get him to share that interest. even before lillian irene, he would sneak into hidden places to figure out the choreography for music videos, especially britney spears. of course he hides it, outside of appropriate moments of dancing with someone on the dancefloor. but he’ll just pretend he doesn’t know the difference first and fifth position in ballet or that he knows the final dance to flashdance.
maddie: she often paints on jean pockets or vinyl records rather than a tradition canvas. considering there’s a market for such, it’s not too unusual and can make money from it. but she purposefully doesn’t like using traditional canvases for her artwork. also, her knowing how to play the harp stands out when she points out which music instruments she knows how to play.
#ask to tag#this took me the whole day i hate this.#and yes jams has repeatedly watched flashdance and yes that is a guilty pleasure of his.#if there's anything you need to get out of this... it's that.#( j. headcanon )#( m. headcanon )#( e. headcanon )#( r. headcanon )#bnjmin

👐 Hand washing guide when you have sensory issues 👐
tbh. we shouldve been talking abt this a long time ago for many disabled ppls sake but ive put this post off for like a million years out of pure solidified fear of ableist harassment/kneejerk ignorance and also generalized cringe idiots but now that we got so much covid-19 fear and autistic ppl actually tend to have weaker immune systems than most people lets jump the shark;;;
i have autism and i physically struggle with washing my hands as often as i want to, having wet hands, drying them, the temperature difference, bad soap smells/textures, etc. are all genuinely painful. the good news is that ive dealt with water aversion shit since birth (its a common sensory issue), so ive had time to figure out alternatives and coping skills that still help reduce risk of disease and spreading it in ways that i can personally manage. (ie. not lazy or selfish or gross. genuinely putting more effort into this every day task than most other people would even think about. just disability lads) so heres the guide i have to offer if you’re in a similar boat, with some keypoints about hand hygiene and tips addressing the most common sensory struggles ive noticed with it;;;
1. hand sanitizer
i love hand sanitizer, i can get it in almost any scent i want and it dries down very very fast. the problem is; hand washing and hand sanitizer do different things. it only kills certain types of germs. which is all fine and dandy, but because of this, using only hand sanitizer wont actually keep you from catching or spreading many illnesses. so what its good for is times you cant wash your hands (out in public, sensory overload, no spoons, etc), thats fine, but it should not replace all hand washing if at all possible. it is supposedly effective to covid-19, but so little is currently known that it should not be considered your go to for this, and the only unanimous statement straight from the CDC is that hand washing works best at preventing its spread.
temperature - if you have trouble with it being too cold, conveniently keeping it in your pocket or closely against your body in some way warms it up and makes it much more comfortable.
scent - they come in almost any scent you can imagine, but if you have trouble with strong scents, there are ‘scentless hand sanitizers’. they usually have a faint chemical smell, so if there are any testers available, you should check to make sure it can work for you before you buy it.
texture - if gel doesnt cut it, they also make foamy hand sanitizers and liquid sprays, but theyre harder to find and might be a little more pricey.
and remember; always buy hand sanitizer that says it contains AT LEAST 60% alcohol, the higher alcohol content the better, but try to keep track of how high it is and how much you apply it so you dont dry your skin out. and right now price gouging is pretty bad, so dont be surprised if you cant find any for a while, and dont buy any small bottle that costs over a couple dollars, its a rip off.
2. hand washing
so what does hand washing do thats better than sanitizer??? soap and water lift up the dirt and oils that are carrying the germs and actually wash them off, and not only that, it also gets rid of all the things sanitizer cant, such as dust/dirt, spores, chemicals, and the previously mentioned viruses that are harder to kill. ik to an outside perspective it might not seem that hard, but obviously when you have autism and these tasks are split down into bigger ordeals and sensory nightmares, it can feel impossible.
soap - there are so many different kinds of soap! scentless soaps exist, and they very rarely have any lingering chemical smell! theres also soap for sensitive skin, and baby soap also works well for that issue. bar soaps can come in all different shapes and sizes, with many different ingredients and additives to choose from (independent soap makers are an amazing source for customized soap btw), and liquid soaps can be pure gel, frothy, mousse-y or even have tiny exfoliating or moisturizing beads in them if thats a sensory experience you enjoy. this is my number one rec for people struggling with hand washing bc of sensory issues;;; mix up the soap. finding one that gives you an okay or even a GOOD sensory experience can completely turn around an otherwise meltdown inducing task
temperature - this is the one thats always been hardest for me. cold water straight up hurts me, and our plumbing is Terrible, so the trick i have for slow pipes is to run the hot water on high as Soon as i get into the bathroom. leave it going and by the time you’re done there should be at least lukewarm water. if this still takes too long for you, try out the various sinks in your house, usually one is able to get hot water faster than the rest (for me its the kitchen sink) and that can become a designated station for you if need be.
texture - some ppl just hate water. if thats the case, it rly doesnt change much abt the process if you use less water, ie work the soap into a lather, and then only use as much as you need to rinse it off. you dont have to keep your hands under the whole time, the soap clings to the dirt, the water takes it off all together, as long as you scrub well and rinse till you see no suds, you’re good
If it really comes down to it, a washcloth with water+soap, a disinfecting wipe, or even literally just a rinse with plain ol water is better than nothing, but the stream of water and act of rubbing the soap in is the most effective combo against disease. soap/disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizers are your second best option. if theres a time in your life where an issue is so disabling for you that you truly cant keep any of this up, rly the most important thing is to limit your direct physical contact with your face and commonly used objects as MUCH as possible until you can figure smth out. (you kno those old ladies that grab a wipe and open the doorknob with it between their hand and the knob? become that old lady) and if push comes to shove, if a safe and accepting therapy setting is something accessible to you, hygiene struggles are actually something many mental health professionals understand Very well and can help you cope with personally and directly, without shame.
3. hand drying
this is also. my personal hell. and what most people say is the hardest part of the sensory experience. but ya cant just walk around with wet hands right
towels - the obvious choice for most, but to me they actually dont dry enough. i always end up damp and with lint stuck to me. this kills the man. but hand towels do have some variety to them, you can find em with really long fibers or really short/flat, really fuzzy or really stiff, etc. sounds silly but its smth a lot of ppl dont think about that can change a lot. you can also try super absorbent towels (yes like a shamwow), and again baby bath towels are also an option if you want something gentle.
paper towels - yeah a little more wasteful and expensive, but imo much more absorbent. theyre also pretty thin so you can get between your fingers (MY BANE), and under your nails if you use a corner. 10/10
blow drying - ik this is the kind of shit you only see in like movie theaters and malls and they are definitely LOUD AS SHIT, but if you happen to have the money, and struggle more with Textures than Noise, ie a stream of warm air seems worth the sound, you Can actually find a small basic one of these items for your own home.
4. public restrooms
everybody hates em!!! but you can make em more tolerable;;;
soap - bring your own! little travel soaps you can keep in your bag are a godsend for ppl with sensory issues, sensitive skin/allergies, and if you just prefer not sharing soap.
temperature - most public places i notice actually do get hot water pretty fast (like,,, too fast,,, like,,, it bur ns me) so if there are no faucets and its too hot or too cold, once again you can try different sinks and one might be more comfortable. if there are faucets i recommend grabbing a paper towel to turn it off, so you dont have to touch it again with your clean hands.
sound - WHY R AUTOMTIC FLUSH TOILETS SO FUCKEN LOUDD..... honestly if you have noise cancelling earmuffs or earplugs or w/e pop em in. if you dont have any of that i just literally plug my ears with my fingers when i stand up. if you struggle with the sound of the blow dryers, they almost always have paper towels as well, but its a great idea to carry something like that around in your bag with you just in case. if its really packed and people chattering is getting to you, sometimes the ‘family’ bathrooms are actually smaller and less full. if its bad enough and you feel comfortable asking, an employee might be able to direct you to a single stall bathroom or at least a different one than that.
and though its convenient, try not to use your sleeve to touch things like doorknobs, toilet handles, etc. instead use something disposable like a paper towel or wipe, bc the germs will simply transfer to your sleeve and still risk infecting you.
5. schedule
the number one suggestion is to wash your hands literally as often as possible during a time like this but like. even for allistic/nt/abled/ ppl thats just not always an attainable schedule so the Best times to wash your hands are;;;
after using the bathroom - the most important time and generally the easiest to get used to. its smth you have to do multiple times a day that already has a schedule, and if you were to forget or go into sensory overload its usually immediately accessible as soon as you can. as i mentioned earlier, if you need help remembering, you can turn the water on when you first get in and leave it going.
the doctors - ANY KIND of health facility should be avoided right now unless really necessary, places where sick people would frequent is the quickest way to get sick but like. ya rly cant help it sometimes right. you cant stop dealing with your own illnesses just bc theres another one floating around. so, this is time to go apeshit on the handwashing. if your health issue involves coughing and sneezing, ask for a face mask. bring a scarf in case they dont have any, its not as great but better than nothing. otherwise, you honestly dont need it, face masks are more for these people bc they keep germs in better than out. whether you’re worried abt getting sick or infecting others, this is a time to use hand sanitizer, avoid physical contact like shaking hands [autistic cheering], and when you first arrive and right before you go to leave are the most important times to remember to wash your hands.
preparing food - not as commonly spoken about, but also easy to work into a schedule. i personally dont care unless its food for somebody else or if im going to be putting my hands on it a lot, but if thats the case, a lot of the time thats produce you already want to wash in the sink, so you can kill two birds with one stone there. dont just get the germs off your own hands, get em off the fruits and veggies before you eat em. carpool
after grocery shopping - not very common. most ppl just slap some sanitizer/a wipe on there or dont think abt it at all, but if you just got home from walmart thats a great time to wash. you just touched a bunch of items other people touched, including the cart, money/credit cards, and all the products people will pick up and put back, so its prime germ time babey. But again, sanitizer or a wipe will help if its all you can manage after a trip out like that.
before self care - also uncommon. ppl always say ‘dont touch your face’ and ‘apply this product with clean hands’, and what they mean is that one of the fastest ways germs get into your system is through your mouth, nose, eyes and ears. if you’re simply washing your face theres not as much concern, but applying a mask, moisturizer, makeup, etc. should all be done after a gentle rinse of your hands (and face). very hard to get into the schedule of, but if you consider it a Part of your ‘self care’ or use a special fun cleanser, it can stick a little easier.
6. stim items
STIM ITEMS!! if you have stim items, its a good idea to clean them regularly, but even moreso during an outbreak like this.
rubber/plastic - if it goes in your mouth, hot water (not hot enough to melt!) and dish soap, if it doesnt, look up how to safely make a diluted bleach solution.
silicone - silicone is usually dish washer safe.
fabric - if its light, add bleach to the washing machine, if its colored, you can use white vinegar or hydrogen peroxide which are less likely to discolor any dyes. lysol detergent is also super great. small items you’re worried about losing, or items with details/loose parts, you can usually wash inside of a sealed pillow case.
‘squishies’ - for ‘mochi’ squishies aka the rubbery ones, soap and water + some dusted baby powder or corn starch (optional) to keep it from grabbing lint for a while. for foam squishies, they can rarely be deep cleaned without the risk of growing mold or taking paint off, but a disinfecting wipe every now and then should keep it clean for a while.
slime - cant be disinfected, sorry. also a breeding ground for mold if you arent careful, so its always best to cycle through these quickly.
technology - cant really be completely sterilized, but there are many places to get sprays and cleaning wipes for the devices you use that can at least keep the areas your hands frequently touch a little cleaner.
BUT of course if your item comes with instructions on how to wash it, always follow that instead. this is just a general idea.
and as a final note;;; disabled ppl should not feel guilty or dirty for struggling with this. like. man idc abt ur cringe feels or your ignorant blame or your lack of understanding/sympathy for what goes into these tasks for us. if u dont wanna get our struggles and sensitivities when we’re working twice as hard on functioning tasks which personal ease you take for granted, thats on you. @ disabled people if you struggle with maintaining the same standard of hygiene as nts you arent gross or bad fucking person, you’re disabled and by definition that means your level of functioning will be different, and you deserve sympathy. its just that germs dont discriminate, they wanna cause problems for everybody involved (especially you!!!), so Anything you can manage is Great and if anything from this post can help make it a little easier for people in any way, i feel its absolutely necessary to talk about with respect and dignity. people with autism/adhd/sensory processing disorder/similar neurodivergencies/literally anybody else this could benefit, pls feel free to add on any tips you might have or send me questions. let disabled ppl help disabled ppl do our personal bests
#nt/allistic ppl can totally reblog btw!! just dont clown like thats literally all i ask man cuz tbh#im trying to help ppl form a hygiene habit while my nd struggle was ignored and worsened by ppl being shitty to me so to be blunt ig#im helping people by giving alternatives and coping skills and all ur doing is being ableist and expecting ppl to 100% conform so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#whos really the ...~~~~~ pro recovery~~~~ one. here#hint its me sit down rude ass#long post#im scared to put in nd tags but sjgsjddsj we're JUMPIGN THE SHARK#sensory processing disorder#spd#autism#actuallyautistic#asd#adhd#sensory overload#original

Nutraceuticals: Not a Trick, Only Treats For Kids
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” — Hippocrates
To raise healthy children is every parent’s goal. This starts from pregnancy and continues as the child grows with good medical care, proper diet, and active lifestyle. However, diet and exercise are sometimes not enough as digestive issues and vitamin deficiencies are inevitable despite our best efforts. This is where the role of nutraceuticals comes into play.
Nutraceuticals can be in the form of multivitamins which serve as supplements for nutrient deficiencies. From Hero National Products, CA, the makers of Yummi Bears and Yummi Blast children’s multivitamins supplements, Jim Studer has mentioned how children are notoriously picky eaters which results in not getting the adequate nutrients, vitamins, and minerals they need to stay healthy (Wright, 2005). Through the marvel of nutraceuticals, this compensates nutritional deficiencies in a fun way to acquire the nutrients children need daily.
As the relationship of food and diseases and costs of healthcare progress over the decades, the leading health conditions affecting children have opened doors in the nutraceutical industry which is evident in the trend in the kid’s food and beverage market with the rise of products addressing immunity, cognitive health, bone health, and obesity (Pushpangadan et al., 2014; Ohr, 2010). Prabu et al. (2012) discussed how nutraceutical products offer health benefits on reducing the risk of numerous chronic diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity, osteoporosis, diabetes, arthritis and more. These also help in improving physiological and cognitive function by treating headaches, constipation, and diminished memory. Furthermore, findings of improved cognitive function in children within a period of 23 weeks were reported by Roberts et al. (2020) in assessing food supplements in relation to improving cognitive memory, along with hemoglobin levels, growth, body composition, and cerebral blood flow, in children at risk of undernutrition. Backed up by science and research, nutraceuticals are established to improve health and prevent chronic diseases which are greatly beneficial for children as they need adequate nutrients to grow and develop holistically.
Nutraceuticals level up the nutrition children get by offering a combination of nutritional properties with medicinal value. Eating healthy would mean a whole lot more than just images of broccolis and apples with the different enticing flavors and colors packed in nutritious goodies available in the market. This is what scientists call “optimal nutrition”. This is what your kids deserve.
Nutraceuticals are significant natural bioactive compounds that offer health and medical benefits to people. The “nutraceuticals” terminology was coined by Dr. Stephen L. De Felice in 1989, founder and chairman of the Foundation for Advancement in Medicine, an American association that promotes medical health research (Catinean et al., 2018). He described a nutraceutical as a food component that promotes health benefits, including disease prevention and treatment by linking nutrition to the pharmaceutical field. Nutraceuticals, commonly known as medical foods, functional foods, designer foods, and nutritional supplements, are product isolated or purified food substances that are usually marketed in therapeutic ways (Sheeshka & Lacroix, 2008). These include nutritional and medicinal functional foods such as milk, cereals, fortified dairy products, supplements, vitamins, herbals, citrus fruits, and more.
Microbial biotechnology is one of the leading key factors in the development of economically valuable chemical and biological products as well as agricultural and environmental agents with the use of promising microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and microalgae (Liakopoulou-kyriakides & Vázquez, 2011). Microbial production platforms are considered to be an eco-friendly approach for the production of value-added nutraceuticals obtained from simple carbon sources. In this regard, Escherichia coli and Saccharomyces cerevisiae are utilized to produce complex and diverse chemicals namely, prebiotics, poly amino acids, phytochemicals, and polysaccharides due to their versatility as cell factories (Wang, Guleria, Koffas & Yan, 2015).
Nutraceuticals market in the Philippines is currently in its infancy stage due to the dependence on traditional pharmaceutical medicine system by the country’s growing middle class population, which accounts for the majority of the Filipino population. Progress in the nutraceutical industry is evident during the 2012-2017 review period, and is expected to further expand from year 2020 onwards due to the rising awareness of nutraceuticals’ benefits among the youth through media, internet, and medical sources. Food companies are now offering food modernization and modest improvements such as reduced salt or fat levels, less sugar content and the likes. Conversely, pharmaceutical companies are now beginning to generate new medical professionals and pharmacists targeted consumer health compounds. All of these factors will contribute to the expansion of the nutraceuticals market in the Philippines, together with higher revenue generation opportunities in the future.
In order to address kids’ immunity, bone health, cognitive health, and obesity, locally produced nutraceutical products are available which typically include omega-3 fatty acids, yeast fermentates, probiotics, prebiotics, vitamins, minerals, and whole grains. Some examples of leading nutraceutical products in the local market include: Cherifer with PGM (Pubertal Growth Maximizer), Centrum multivitamins for kids, PedZinc plus C, Ceelin, and various other nutraceuticals in the form of beverages.
But, what if your kids refuse to take their nutraceuticals? It’s a known fact that kids hate taking their medicine. So, how would nutraceuticals be appealing to kids? Fear not because there are ways to make this stress-free for you and your children! For one, we should inform the children about the benefits of what they are taking in the most comprehensive way possible. The information has to be appealing for them! Instead of forcing the kids to take the tablet, make them understand why they have to take it in a way they could relate to. No kid, or even adult, would like having things forced onto them without knowing why. Second, find the best nutraceutical which could work for your kids. If they have trouble swallowing tablets, look for flavored chewables. Better yet, give them syrups that would be suitable for their palates. Children would appreciate this option the most, especially with the availability of strawberry flavored syrup that was also a nutraceutical in the market. Because of this, taking medicines would be enjoyable until the children would reach an age that would be mature enough for tablets. Lastly, if your child is too stubborn, find the root of your problem. Based on previous experience, children do not like medicine due to their taste, form, or the fact that their parents are forcing them to. Find a solution based on the problem, and do not forget to let your kids make their own choices! Give them the option of choosing whether they take their medicine before or after taking a shower, in the kitchen or in the bedroom, via cup or syringe. Compromise with your child and reward them, as they can be motivated by incentives. If you are able to find the problem, the solution will follow if you put effort into it. Don’t forget, make taking nutraceuticals fun and creative for your kids!
Nourishment is the process of getting food in our bodies and using it as unrefined materials as fuel for energy, vitamins, and minerals that keep our body functioning well and healthy. Parents should show concern and pay attention over their kids' eating habits because it is their responsibility to ensure that their children would grow up healthy. Here are a few ideas that will encourage your kids to eat their greens; spike up your kids' meals with fresh fruit and vegetables, a variety of food within and between meals will guarantee that your kids get all the nutrients they need. Additionally, a blend of colors and shapes with simple flavors is a good way of attracting and training kids in eating a healthy meal instead of fast food or sweets. Fast food per se is not bad, but it becomes a health risk when it replaces children’s regular meals all the time, as this will lead to deprivation of their nutrients such as vitamins. Furthermore, fatty foods stimulate contractions in the digestive tract, which can either slow down the emptying of the stomach and worsen constipation, or speed up movement, leading to or worsening diarrhea. To prevent your child from experiencing this, you should limit food that is high in fat in their diet and pair fatty foods with high-fiber foods for easier digestion. Always keep in mind that it is vital to get your children an early start on eating healthy meals, to eat in moderation, and refrain from fatty food. These will establish good nutritional habits in your child, and it will become part of their lifestyle for the rest of their life.

For the characters HCs Darman? He's so precious and we need *more*
Link the meme here. Accepting, but if you send me the whole meme as opposed to specifics it might take a bit. Thank you to anon for the ask.
clothing style.
Dar dresses pretty simply even after he leaves the army. Bright cheery shades of color -anything but red or maybe orange- and well fitting, but comfy. Probably starts wearing dad cardigans very early on. Lots of space!hoodies, which Etain steals. Comfy, practical, cheery. Likes to roll up the sleeves of things to his upper forearm because Etain notices ™ and also keeping the fabric out of the way of whatever he’s working on. That said, he spends as much time in armor as civvies.
before - bed routine.
In barracks, his routine is exceedingly simple. Dar is one of those people who dozes off easy, so he more or less wraps up whatever he’s doing, figures out the best way to secure the door or react to it opening, washes his face and brushes his teeth and is out. Never trust that you’ll actually get all 8 hours of sleep you’ve been promised.
Out of barracks, it’s a little bit more indulgent. If they have the water/aren’t rationing, Dar likes a second hot shower before he goes to sleep. Checks on the little ones, small snack or maybe hot chocolate, brush teeth. If he’s at home with Etain or they’re deployed to the same place, the he typically has to go retrieve her and coax her into bedtime - he can and sometimes does fall asleep while she’s still working but drastically prefers the bed with her in it even more so with her in his arms or holding him- maybe listen to Etain read or flip through a holozine for the roughly 10 minutes it takes him to pass out. (Etain frequently is taking things out of his hands after he falls asleep.)
In the Rhedian/Etain/Dar verse he has to track them both down, probably, and then they negotiate who gets to be the middle and who gets to be the edge. Darman can only sleep facing the door while laying on his side, so if he’s on the outer edge of the bed, he’s the little spoon and whoever curls up behind him has their arm on his hip, and if he’s in the middle or outer edge he’s big spooning
eating habits
Darman eats a lot. While he’s in GAR he eats big meals and eats them quickly, and it takes a few years after getting out to change the habit in any significant way, but left to his own devices in peace time he’d be a grazer. He doesn’t have strong preferences, taste-wise, but he loves novelty of food choices, even when his wife and kids are slightly intimidated.
As it is, he snacks a lot and is completely unabashed at eating things off of Etain or a brother’s plate. He makes up for it by becoming an excellent cook and spoiling his loved ones with their favorites. Absolutely steals all of the sweets Etain isn’t overly attached to, but makes up for it by offering her a lot of his fruit. Always drinks from her caf cup. When he gets the cure and his metabolism slows down a bit, it takes getting used to.
concept of home and family
He’s got a very, very Mandalorian view of family. Home is where his brothers and Etain and the kids are not only around him but safe and comfortable. Family isn’t blood- it’s the people who he can rely on to have his back no matter what who have chosen to show him love and trust and earn it in return. It’s a chosen obligation and support network.
hobbies.
Cooking, working out, sparring, casual team and pairs sports (though it’s as much about the challenge/social interaction as him actually giving a shit about sports), reading general-interest just casually informative holozines (like, space!Time or NatGeo) , watching the odd romantic holo, playing with his kids, word puzzles
fighting style.
listen, I do not know enough about SW weaponry /combat or even real life weaponry and combat to answer this question thoroughly. I do think he looks into at least the basics of Teras-Kasi once Sith start showing up looking for his kids.
what calms your muse down after a bad day?
It depends on the kind of bad day. If he’s feeling drained, sometimes a hot shower, a cup of hot chocolate, sitting with Etain as she meditates, his legs bracketing hers and letting her deep breathing set the pace or else just outright cuddling.
But if he’s restless or overloaded or angry he kicks everyone else out of the kitchen so he can be alone and takes it out on the vegetables until a particularly difficult technique or recipe distracts him and pulls him out of his head a bit. Occasionally he goes back to his roots and works on some stripped down demolitions projects at the nearest work bench. Working out alone doesn’t help in that kind of mood because he’s still in his own thoughts, but if he’s up to being around other people, sparring or some sort of high-intensity pairs game (slingball, etc) does.
(Depending on her own mood/the reason for the upset Etain sometimes starts out sparring with him but is amenable to shifting to other distractions, too. Sometimes they skip straight to the pinning down if she notices he needs to burn tension and who ever starts off gets the go ahead.)
ways your muse says i love you.
his love language is in nurturing and gift-giving. he’s highly sensitive to small changes in his loved ones demeanor and part of his way of showing them he loves them is immediately trying to give or do something to make them feel better. have they eaten? do they need painkillers? what’s small thing he can do or give to fix it?
alternatively if it’s less of a “need immediate support” situation he’s still trying to figure out what small thing he can give to show his affection: a stolen gift for Etain, sharing a food he’s fond of, double checking Rhedian’s kit for her without asking, or something he’s made for them in particular “I thought of you, and I want you to be content”.
describe your muse’s laugh.
softer than you’d think, but Dar has a terrible time forcing laughter, so if you hear it it’s warm and genuine or angry/bitter AF and which ever emotion it is feels readily apparent.
what items can be found in your muse’s pockets
assuming we’re just talking civvie pockets and not his gear belt then the star wars equivalent of a swiss army knife, credits, a false identchip (he swaps out which one), spare blank datachip, comlink/holoprojector combo, hard candies that are less prone to melting or some sort of snack, his wedding ring if he’s working on something dirty or delicate, sometimes little handwritten notes Etain has left him on flimsiplast, a stylus and a all-materials marker of some sort
talk about your muse’s most prized possession(s)
Dar really doesn’t get too hung up on possessions. His wedding ring is highly sentimental but if push comes to shove can be replaced. The only thing he couldn’t easily abandon would be the very few holos he has of his first squad (which, like, SW has the Cloud, right?), a few surviving love letters of Etain’s, and maybe when he’s older and his brothers start dying some of their armor plates.
describe your muse’s walk
He always tends to walk like he’s wearing Katarn armor even if he isn’t: chest forward, long strides, walking with intent and clearing civvies easily out of his way. He does fuck up a knee as an older man, but unlike Kal, no one has to beg him to go to treatment and it only bothers him if he’s been extremely rough on it or he’s run down in general.
talk about your muse’s accent.
A weird, hard to place amalgam unless you know that he’s a clone commando. Part basic non-distinct Core World Broadcast Pronunciation from lots of flash training as a young child, the slightest edge of Kuat and of Keldabe from learning from Kal Skirata, eventual hard edge to his Mando’a that’s unique to the Neshurok district on Nar Shadda. People tend to be surprised he doesn’t sound Concordian, but he didn’t have enough exposure to Fett for that.
describe your muse’s smile
wide, artless, not the “crooked and charming” type so much as genuinely expansive
how often does your muse get sick?
Not too often- he has a good immune system, special genetic modification, and more vaccinations than any reasonable being could keep track of. That said, it’s impossible to avoid getting sick forever with kids.
does your muse know when to rest, or do they push themselves?
Dar’s a lot better at giving himself physical rest (training to make the best use of his efforts and preserve his ability to keep going kicking in) than mental rest in a daily context, though he absolutely has overdone it on missions (conditioning that you are less than your objective and replaceable is a bitch.)
does your muse snore? sleeptalk? sleepwalk?
He snores. Etain says terribly, he says he’s not as bad as any of the rest of Omega, which may or may not be true.
the thing(s) your muse thinks about before falling asleep.
depends on the night. anything from galactic politics to memory of his first squad to the annoying squeak from the air vent that needs looking at to the breathlessness edge of Etain’s voice or her touch before they finally settled down
is your muse a fitful or a quiet sleeper?
Darman has nightmares that wake him up and leave him upset, but unless you’re a Jedi it can be hard to tell because he doesn’t move around very much in his sleep until he wakes up full of adrenaline and gasping. On a normal night, he’s a pretty quiet sleeper and most of his movement comes from adjusting to Etain, who absolutely is restless. That said, he’s fairly easy to wake.
your muse’s thoughts on cops and other authority figures
Cops are initially sorted into the Jaller Obrim schema of tentative friendship/support, but that falls by the wayside pretty quickly when he’s a fugitive from the galactic regime.
He’s respectful of authority figures in theory and knows how to follow a chain of command, clone-officers being easily followed, but his experiences with Jedi Generals who didn’t know what they were doing, outright malevolent Imperial Army officials, the constant threat of death from the Kaminoans, Kal’s subtle manipulations, etc all mean he keeps a weary eye on them until they prove otherwise.
He doesn’t strive to be an iconoclast, but he’s inherently aware of the danger authority figures pose to his survival and those he loves.
skills and special talents.
cooking, singing, hand to hand, demolitions, shooting, chemistry, covert ops, battlefield first aid, good listener, decent at sketches though he doesn’t pursue it
disabilities or illnesses.
Darman has very clear PTSD plus possibly some other comorbid mental health conditions. He does have old battle injuries that bother him somewhat as he gets older, including one knee, but nothing that’s immediately physically obvious or debilitating espc since he gets appropriate medical care.
habits and mannerisms.
lots of soft humming or mouthing a song he will never sing alone in front of strangers, deceptively calm expression even when he’s ruminating, going over his gear and equipment for the fifth time as a comfort thing
introvert or extrovert.
Ambivert.
religious or non - religious
Ambivalent- He’s married to a Jedi and the father of multiple Force-using kids, so he can’t exactly deny the whole Force-thing, but he doesn’t philosophize it the way Etain inherently does.
As for te kara’se… again, ambivalence. When Etain start taking to a… worship isn’t precisely right, but neither is relationship with Tarre Vizsla and Ranah teh Naast, he listens and doesn’t disapprove, but also doesn’t necessarily disagree. If he speaks to the Mand’alore of old, if he sometimes asks for advice, when his brothers have gone quiet too long or his wife’s blood is spotting his armor or his children are crying in fear… he doesn’t know whether or not he expects them to listen. The asking is still worth something, though. He’s likely to ask his brothers in the manda too, as much as anything else.
something your muse could never forgive.
injuries to his loved one, especially life-threatening or shattering ones, especially purposeful neglect or abuse or the cheap spending of their life. It’s easier to forgive his own blood spilt than that of his heart.
something that makes your muse smile.
naps in the sunshine, his kids being goofballs or learning something new. a brother earning some new happiness, the little looks Etain gives him when they talk without talking, the pleasure of a new taste or mastering a new skill, someone running his fingers through his hair or holding his hand
something that scares your muse.
the constant risk to his wife and children, and once the Mandalorian “Great Purge” starts to his entire family. the possibility of somehow letting down or disappointing or becoming estranged from a brother. Kaminoans, for years. his own anger, sometimes.
something that gives your muse hope.
Koa and Kad and Scout sitting around the family table solving a problem together, Koa with her aruetii science degree in one hand and a musical instrument in the other, Kad holding baby Etta (Dar’s granddaughter) tightly to his chest with a look of wonder on his face, Etta and Sivvar (Kad’s husband) laughing as they paint a mural on a bare expanse of wall, Etain wrapping a niece or nephew in her cloak as she holds them and smiling quietly back over her shoulder at him, Fi with a baby strapped to his chest, Atin and Laseema curled quietly together in an oversized arm chair, the first time he sees excitement in Niner’s face after the war
how your muse responds to being helped / taken care of.
He’s not used to in originally. With strangers he’s excessively polite, but with someone he actually loves and trusts, he gets incredibly soft- lots of little touches to their hands/arms (or face/neck if romantic or as platonically close as Omega) and his shoulders just kind of unspool tension
how your muse responds to unconditional love.
Similar to the above, but Dar’s loyalty runs deep, and he’s a romantic and a family-oriented person, so it tends to inspire devotion
how your muse responds to danger
To himself, a reasonable amount of stress or anger, but mostly his instincts kick in until later when he potentially has the ability to process how fucked the situation was. he becomes very decisive under pressure but he isn’t taught how to handle it after until he’s been fighting for years.
how your muse responds to stress. // how your muse responds to anger.
He tries to hide a lot of it to avoid being a burden, and it’s way more successful than you’d think. He doesn’t start developing explicit coping skills until after the war and his break down, although he does talk to Omega and Etain about it, alternating between showing them his soul in an expression of trust and hiding things so as not to trouble them.
With anger his protective anger is the easiest to glimpse at first, but eventually it comes out in other situations- normally the thought of being lied to or deceived or used. With all of the above, he gets cold and harsh until it tips too far. Less yelling than quiet anger.
He’s not by nature inherently violent, but between his training and untreated PTSD, there are episodes where he feels as if he loses control of himself entirely and retreats to the violence he was taught would keep him alive. Part of his recovery is learning to stop things before they get there and recognize his own threat response.
With stress, see the above about bad days. also probably some explicitly PTSD related coping strategies but I’ll admit I haven’t researched that
did your muse grow up too fast?
Absolutely. Dar may have been socially naive on his first deployment, but he didn’t have a childhood, he had a product development phase haunted by the threat of Kaminoan culling.

Overdo (Tales From The Heart)
Fandom: One Piece Rating: Gen Warnings: None Characters: Shachi, Law, Penguin, Bepo, Heart Pirates
Shachi frowned as someone plucked at his sleeve before turning to face the culprit. The sight of their newest recruit greeted him and he sighed. The guy looked scared, and Shachi had never been good at dealing with scared people. Besides, he was covered in blood from some inconsiderate Marine that just had to topple onto him when he died, and really really wanted a bath.
Still, the guy was new, and also nakama, so he had to at least try.
"What's wrong?" he asked, not liking the way the other pirate fidgeted.
"Uh… Shachi-san…" the newbie asked, doing nothing to help Shachi's mood in the slightest. "Is it… normal… for Captain Law to, well…"
"Spit it out," Shachi growled, wishing he hadn't been the one chosen right that moment to deal with the 'Captain's powers are creepy and terrifying' reaction. After a bath would have been far, far better timing.
"CaptainLawlookslikehe'sabouttopassout," the other pirate garbled, gesturing back towards the shore, where Law was theoretically finishing off the last Marines while the rest of the crew loaded the loot onto the Tang and started preparations to leave.
"He gets tired sometimes, yes," he admitted in a low voice, glancing over at his captain out of habit before freezing. Tired was not the word to apply to Law at that moment, and Shachi did not like the way he was swaying. "Okay no, you're right. That's not normal. Get Bepo."
He didn't hang around to see if he was obeyed as he barged back off of the ship, elbowing his nakama out of the way to disgruntled shouts that slowly gave way to cries of alarm as they turned around to berate Shachi and ended up catching sight of their captain's state instead.
The final Marine fell, and with him the flickering blue sheen of Law's Room. The captain himself followed suit moments later, Shachi arriving too late to catch him and having to make do skidding on his knees the last couple of feet to Law's limp form.
"Law?" he asked, reaching out to touch his shoulder. There was no response, Law's chest rising and falling too rapidly. Shachi cursed himself for not noticing earlier, for blindly following orders to get ready to go while Law finished up. That wouldn't be happening again.
"Captain?" He glanced up to see the members of the crew he'd muscled past gathering around worriedly. "Shachi, what happened?" one of them asked, chewing his lip. Shachi sighed and pulled the unconscious Law into his arms before staggering to his feet.
"He overdid it," he told them quietly, conscious of their exposed position. "Finish up as fast as you can. We're leaving." They hesitated for a moment, but Shachi shot them a sharp look and they leapt to obey as he carried his precious load back to the safety of the ship. On the shore, he'd kept up appearances, as if Law fainting after a battle was a normal occurrence. Panicking the crew would do no good at all, so he'd crushed his own panic behind layers of responsibilities.
But the truth was, he'd never seen Law faint after a battle. Using his abilities to experiment had occasionally left him sleeping for longer than normal, and he usually needed to rest after difficult operations, but this was new and worrying.
"That's the last time he's finishing up a fight without us," Penguin commented, appearing by Shachi's side as he headed for the infirmary. Law's room would probably have been the better choice, but Shachi's instincts told him something wasn't right, beyond the obvious, and he wasn't in the habit of ignoring gut feelings.
"Definitely," Shachi agreed as Bepo came barrelling towards them.
"I heard Captain collapsed!" the Mink gasped, narrowly avoiding careening into Shachi and his burden and instead crashing into Penguin, who let out a loud oof as he was crushed against the side of the corridor.
"We're getting off this island," Shachi told their navigator, who was too busy apologising to a still-trapped Penguin to respond. "Bepo."
"Hmm?" Bepo peeled himself off of the cursing Penguin to give Shachi his full attention.
"Get the crew all on board, then set a course."
"But the Log Pose hasn't set!" Bepo protested. "We can't leave yet!"
"Since when did you rely on that thing to navigate?" Penguin grumbled, shoving the bulk of fur to regain his personal space. "I thought you furred Minks didn't need such 'crutches'," he quoted one of Bepo's earlier rants about navigation in the Grand Line.
"But… Captain doesn't like it if I don't use it," Bepo reminded them, glancing at the prone form of Law still in Shachi's arms. The ginger shifted him slightly as his arms began to protest.
"Not the time, Bepo," he snapped, eliciting a 'sorry!' from the Mink. "We can't stay here. Get us on our way."
"You're not the captain," Bepo sulked, but slunk away nonetheless. Shachi knew he'd do it, even though he was right – Law hated it if they set sail before the Log Pose set. It wasn't because he didn't trust Bepo's uncanny sense for direction, even in the notorious Grand Line, but because if something happened to him, they needed the backup for the human members of the crew to use.
They just couldn't risk that a survivor had seen Law's collapse and reported it. They were safer in the sea – under the sea – than waiting like sitting ducks for the Log Pose to set while Marine reinforcements (and other pirate crews) headed for them.
Finishing the journey to the infirmary, he set Law down on one of the beds gently, not liking the flush of his cheeks. Simple exhaustion didn't put so much colour into his cheeks, and Shachi feared that Law had worked himself into an illness.
Penguin helped him settle Law, determining that he was developing a slight fever and running for a damp cloth to try and keep his temperature under control before it got too severe. Law's weak immune system was a complication they always hated to deal with.
"I'll help Bepo," Penguin said once he'd done everything he could for Law. Shachi nodded, and the older man left the room. Less than a minute later, as Shachi was preparing fresh cloths for when the one currently in use got too warm, the crew member that had brought the entire situation to his attention stumbled in, looking around nervously before making his way to Law's side.
"Good spot," Shachi told him, far more favourably disposed towards him than he had been earlier. It was amazing the sort of things that could change someone's opinion. Disturbing a blood-soaked grouchy guy to ask an obvious question? Unwelcome and annoying. Pointing out that the captain had bitten off more than he could chew? Gratitude and respect became more prevalent.
"Is… he going to be okay?" the other pirate asked. Shachi pushed a grin onto his face with more effort than he'd wanted.
"He'll be fine. He just overdid it with his abilities and now he's made himself ill, but he'll be on his feet again before long." Shachi once again buried his own concern beneath the confident words, not wanting to spook the rest of the crew, who had begun to filter in with varying degrees of concern on their faces.
The sirens wailed suddenly, indicating that they were about to enter a dive. Shachi did a quick headcount – excluding him and Law, there were ten of them in the room. His haki found another three putting away their spoils, and one more tending the engines. If he added in Penguin and Bepo, busy in the control room plotting the course and steering, that was everyone accounted for.
Satisfied, he returned his attention to Law, in time to see Clione changing the damp cloth while some of the newer members fussed with the covers, needing something to occupy their hands. Shachi didn't have the heart to banish them to help put away their spoils, and busied himself with sorting through the medicine cabinets to find something Law could take once he was conscious enough to swallow without choking.
That desperately-desired bath was little more than a distant memory, despite the sticky red still covering his uniform and the ends of his hair. That could wait until Law opened his eyes.

Did you practice Gratitude today ?
Did you thank yourself for something today ?
Did you say thank you to your partner, to a friend or just be grateful being alive, safe and healthy.
Gratitude is a powerful and important emotion similar to appreciation. Positive psychology has found neurons reasons why so many people can benefit from this general practice of experiencing thanks for our lives even in times of challenge and changes, like this period.
Many of us express gratitude by saying thank you to someone who has helped us or given us a gift but is not just and action, it is also a positive emotion that serves a biological purpose.
Simply being grateful for being alive is a great way to motivate oneself to seize the day.
The idea that tomorrow is not quaranted is a strong motivator for some people to be their “best self” today.
We are all capable of expressing it but sometimes we need a little reminder or a little effort to do so. There are many reasons to be grateful but only recently have discovered that one of the main reasons is the ability to change our brains in an extremely positive way.
It may not be easy and it requires our attention, but is strong. Gratitude can improve overall -well being, increase resilience, strengthen social relationships and reduce stress and depression. They have also a stronger immune system, lower their blood pressure, sleep and wake up better. They are alert , more generous, compassionate, happy and recognize easier joy and positive emotions.
Grateful people are more agreeable, more open and less neurotic. They have deeper relationships. People who express their gratitude for each other tend to be more willing to forgive others and less narcissistic. We can be grateful for things have not necessarily been given to us by someone, such our health, a safe place to sleep of our friendly or partner relationships. Nothing is already given and often we forgot that.
Gratitude increases feeling of security, coherence and brings physical and mental health.
Gratitude it is stronger with the thing you do, than the thing you have.
Gratitude is built with more gratitude. We know that brain change with experience, so the more grateful we are, the more the brain learns to tune into the positive things in the world and this bring an overall better life.
This very evening, before you go to sleep think of the positive things that happened during the day. Take a moment to do this every night. You can also start your day with that. Before getting out of bed, considering three things-however small- that you are grateful for. Even on a hard day make yourself to do this.
Write a letter to someone explaining your gratitude. Think something that you are grateful for and share it with your partner or your friend.
Next time you have a free moment, try practicing some gratitude, you might be surprised by the benefits it brings you.
Thank you 🙏🏻 💜

14 supplement myths
Separating the truth from myths can sometimes be difficult in the world of bodybuilding and fitness . Everyone has an opinion, and usually those opinions are based on rumors, disinformation, or 10 seconds of propaganda on the news or radio. Many myths about supplements remain, even though those myths have been studied and proven to be wrong.
This article will take a look at 14 supplement myths . We will show you the myth first and then the truth, and then the truth will dispel that myth. If you know of another supplement myth that isn't on this list, I urge you to do your own research and look both ways in the debate. Supplements are often painted as unnecessary or dangerous, nothing could be further from the truth.
Myth # 1: whey protein will make you fat
Truth - Whey protein will not make you fat. Only eating an excessive amount of calories daily can make you gain weight. Eating an appropriate amount of protein each day will ensure muscle gains. On the other hand, if you eat less protein, it will be more difficult for your body to add muscle mass.
Myth # 2: Supplements are an unnecessary expense of money
Truth: The number of muscle building and nutritional supplements on the market is enormous, helping to maximize performance and overall health. Don't let the exaggerated claims of a 'snake oil' vendor lead you away from products that can amplify your efforts.
Myth # 3: I have a good diet, I don't need supplements
Truth: A balanced diet is a good start, but it does not mean that you are meeting all the nutritional needs of your body. Nutritional needs can vary and fluctuate depending on age, health, stress, and intense training. Consider supplements an insurance that fills in the gaps.
Myth # 4: All supplements have the same quality
Truth: Not all supplements are created in the same way. Different companies have different standards. Some companies have low quality and purity of materials, so they can offer a low price. Don't buy supplements based on price. You may be throwing the money in the trash. Instead, seek the opinions and studies of the best products.
Myth # 5: Creatine is a steroid
Truth: Creatine is nothing like a steroid. Creatine is a natural substance found in the human body that helps to supply energy to (first) muscles. Anabolic performance enhancers are drugs that mimic the benefits of the male hormone testosterone and are commonly taken in excessive and dangerous amounts. While creative is safe and natural, steroid use comes with potentially dangerous side effects.
Myth # 6: Supplements improve your strength and muscle mass, even if you don't train.
Truth: Although supplements can improve your health, combat stress, improve sleep and the immune system, they are not magic pills and powders that can make you an outstanding bodybuilder. Supplements help amplify your workout, but they won't make you more muscular or stronger if you're not training hard in the gym.
Myth # 7: Supplements cause many side effects
Truth: Most of the ingredients contained in the supplement are found naturally in the human body. or in food. A supplement would cause minimal side effects.
Myth # 8: Creatine causes kidney damage
Truth: Because of its popularity as a performance-enhancing supplement, the use of creatine has been extensively studied. Creatine has been shown to be safe and non-toxic for people in good kidney health and function.
Myth # 9: Creatine causes cramps
Truth: As in the previous myth, this myth has also been studied and proven to be incorrect. In fact, one study revealed that athletes who are supplemented with creatine experience fewer muscle cramps, strains, injuries, dehydration, and tight muscles. (Mayhew, Mayhew, and Ware)
Myth # 10: Everyone gets the same results from supplements.
Truth: This is completely false. Each individual is unique, and two athletes do not train in the same way, nor do they eat in the same way. You will often find that creatine or nitric oxide as a pre-workout works better for some than for others. In fact, it is very common for one person to obtain minimal benefits from one brand, but very good from another. Don't assume that because a supplement didn't work well for your friend, it won't work for you, either.
Myth # 11: High protein diets are not healthy
Truth: There is no study that confirms the comment that a high protein diet impacts healthy individuals with good kidney function in a negative way.
Myth # 12: Athletes don't need extra protein
Truth: Studies have shown that athletes who train hard require extra protein. Exercises tend to demolish muscle tissue, and additional protein helps assist the body in repairing and rebuilding damaged tissue. In addition to this, studies suggest that athletes who do not eat enough protein, or who eat what is considered "normal" amounts of protein, often lose muscle tissue.
Myth # 13: Fat burning is a waste of money
Truth: The most popular fat burners contain a number of ingredients that are effective in stimulating your metabolism, promoting and helping the body burn fat. Fat burners are certainly not miracle products that will help you shed fat even if you're eating poorly, combined with weight training, cardio and a good diet, they help boost your energy and metabolism during long periods of weight loss.
Myth # 14: Our bodies make enough omega-3s and fatty acids on its own
Truth: The body does not produce essential fatty acids on its own. Omega 3s are considered essential, which means that the body is unable to produce them, and that they must be obtained from the food we eat. Supplements like fish oil supply the body with the necessary omega 3s, and are beneficial for hard-working athletes and individuals on a diet with limited calories.

Starseeds: Are You a Cosmic Traveller?
This is a long post so... if you want some light reading 😀
What Is A Starseed?
Starseeds are the highly evolved souls who have experienced life anywhere in the Universe including different planets, star systems, and galaxies. They always have a purpose and they might live many lives to achieve it.
In the other words, Starseeds are the souls who have lived past lives or experienced the higher realms; but now they are incarnated in the physical form and present on Earth. Their origination rooted in the star systems: Sirius, Pleiades, Orion, Arcturus, Lyra and Andromeda.
Serving humanity is the major purpose of Starseeds incarnation on Earth. At a time, there could be many Starseeds present on Earth. These old souls have volunteered to make this world a better place. They bring light and knowledge to Earth.
Many times, not a single lifetime is enough to do the job and thus, they reincarnate again and again to achieve their mission. Sometimes, there work is global; while, other times, their task to bring light to the particular civilization and bring them out of the dark.
When Starseeds are incarnated on Earth, they bring the gifts of healing, spiritual education and channelling. Helping people is what they desire. Where and when a Starseed is born is preplanned. How that Starseed will help others and what would be his tools – everything is properly planned long before their appearance in the physical body. These projects are called life missions, and every Starseed has its own.
Starseeds are Humans on Earth:
Starseeds have physical form on Earth like you and any other person. They are born like any human and pass through all the birth stages but their souls are unique. These people don’t feel their home is Earth. They constantly feel that they belong to somewhere in the stars. Usually, they don’t feel connected to the human ways and they can appear strange.
It is not easy for the soul to achieve the physical form. In the process of attaining the human form, they need to pass so many veil of illusion and lower their vibration from higher self. During the progression, they even forget who they are.
They don’t know their origins, purpose, and hidden powers until they are awaken. They could totally forget their mission and why they have chosen to come to earth in the first place. The third dimension is highly distracting, and most Starseeds live many lives to know their identity in the first place.
Starseeds Awakening:
Reconnection to their star is essential for the Starseeds to know their origin. Living the simple Earth’s life wouldn’t connect them to the stars beyond and they need to do more. It is also necessary for them to complete their life’s mission.
A successful mission provides a sense of satisfaction to them, and that’s the common goal of all Starseeds. They learn a lot on this physical realm and even go through so many lives on Earth until their mission is accomplished.
Starseeds are born with no clue of the past lives and origin. But, all the Starseeds have the complete information present on their genes. When these genes are triggered and activated, Starseed awakens to know their original life goal and why they are incarnated on Earth.
Starseed Activation
The set of genes, which encodes the origin and mission information, could be activated in particular part of life on its own; or self-healing techniques and knowingness of inner spiritual power could trigger it. When it’s activated on its own, the knowledge comes quite unexpectedly with lots of drama.
On the other hand, the awakening process becomes gentle and gradual when the soul selects a spiritual path to know where it belongs.
No matter which thing leads to the awakening process, the end result is always a memory restoration. But, how much memory would restore during a single awakening phase is dependent on the soul’s level of conscious awareness.
It could also depend on the life mission of the soul. During this process, the soul knows their mission and the tools needed to accomplish the goal. When they truly become conscious, they also connect to their higher self that further makes their mission easy by relying on their inner knowledge and intuition.
When the soul is fully awakened, there are no fears of the world. They become immune to them and can do what they are meant to be without any hesitation. When they become aware of themselves, they know their mission and they strive hard to complete it.
Lots of effort is required, but Starseeds are ancient souls and highly evolved, they know what to do and how to do it only when they fully understand who they are.
Starseed physical symptoms:
Other than normal characteristics and traits, Starseeds are different from normal human beings physically as well. Starseeds physical symptoms could instantly help you to know if you are one. It is not necessary that all the traits are present in the person, but most will be.
Sensitivity towards extreme temperatures:
Starseed are either highly sensitive to hot or cold. The ones, who like warmer weather, find it hard in the cold. On the other hand, cold tolerating Starseed are not comfortable in the hot weather. Their sensitivities are present by birth and will continue until the end.
Sensitivity towards Pain:
Here again, they are the extremists; either they can tolerate intense pain, or they can’t even bear a pinprick. Once they become sensitive, it will remain with them forever.
Strong Immunity:
The day-to-day viruses that harm human bodies could occasionally be able to make them sick. They usually have strong immune systems that keep them safe. Although, there’s a very little chance of them countering any disease; but when they do, they recover fast. It is because of their origin and evolved souls that diseases are not able to produce any harm to them.
Sturdy Body:
Which body type they have doesn’t matter. They are always strong from inside. The healing power of their bodies is also very fast. It heals injuries and strains in no time. It is not necessary that they always look strong, but they have great inner strength that helps them always at the time of need. Their body can withstand epidemics to harsh weathers.
Unknown Bruises on Body:
Many Starseeds get bruised quite easily without remembering how they get that mark. They are unable to recall from where they got them. These marks are usually prominent enough to be noticed by others as well.
Strange Birthmarks:
Starseeds are usually born with strange birthmarks. They also could have distinctive moles on the body. Many times, the appearance of their birthmark has a special design or shape. They might seem unfamiliar and out of this world.
Nature Lover:
Animals and plants make them feel more comfortable than their fellow human beings. They like to spend time with nature. Sometimes, they become attracted to a particular kind of tree; in most cases, willow trees become the favourite. Starseeds are not fond of artificial lights as well and find peace and coziness in the sunlight only. Animals also seem attracted towards them; they feel comfort and calm.
Above average hearing
Their hearing power is better than the average person. As they can hear above average, loud sounds can disturb them easily. Now and then, they can hear high-pitched sounds in one or both ears. When the soul is heading towards ascension, it becomes a common occurrence. These high sounds are present with tingling sensations and increased head pressure. This condition doesn’t last long and might go away on its own within days or weeks.
Extreme Sensitivity Towards Alcohol and Medicine
Starseeds have the tendency to be highly sensitive towards drugs, alcohol and different types of medicine. Some cannot bear it, while others have high tolerance.
As there’s an enhanced chance of going towards substance abuse, Starseeds should avoid the use of these things in the first place because they only keep them away from reality and knowing their true life purpose. When they become more awakened, they crave for chemical substances less.
Being Night Owls:
Starseeds feel good and find peace at night; they are night owls and stay up at night more than their similar age young adults. When the Starseeds sleep early at night, something wakes them up in the middle of the night for no reason, especially around 3 am.
Their sleeping patterns are not like other humans. They can even perform at full by taking less sleep than the average person. However, there are times in Starseeds lives when they sleep more than their normal and feel extreme exhaustion; it is also necessary for their spiritual growth.
Types of Starseeds:
Depending on the star of their origin, Starseeds could be different from each other. But their main aim is to help Mother Earth and her inhabitants. Types of Starseeds are as follow:
Sirian starseed:
Sirius is the multi-star system having more than one sun. It is the brightest star that can be seen with the naked eye. It is 8.7 light years away and known as the dog star of the constellation Canis Major.
Sirius plays an important part in humanity’s future. Souls which are originated in Sirius are known as Sirian Starseeds. They are originally our ancestors with their old cultures and dwelling on earth longer than humans. Mayan and Egyptian Civilizations used to be their homes. Their connection with the Dogon of Mali is also very well known.
Sirians are advanced
Their metaphysical sense is quite advanced. They were responsible for providing highly advanced astronomical and medical information to the Egyptians. The temples and pyramids of Egypt are their gifts; within them, they built tunnels that are connected to the inner worlds and stars.
Mayan also took the benefit and gained advanced knowledge. They were there and helped us at the time of the catastrophic period in Atlantis. Aura work and crystal healing come from the Atlantean knowledge and provided by Sirians.
The Dogon of Mali had advanced knowingness of Solar system especially the Sirius star system. Even though their knowledge was thousands of years old, scientists claim that it is highly accurate.
Highly evolved
Sirians today are highly evolved souls with the incline towards positivity. They want to help Earth and its dwellers in any possible way. They are more spiritually advanced than any civilisation on Earth and known as ‘Spiritual Warriors’.
As compared with other Starseeds, they are very different because of the mixed traits. They seek truth and want to know the answers to many things. The magical aspects of life attract them a lot and they are inclined towards magic and wizardry. But, their nature is scientific. From mind, they want to make science miracles, but their heart likes the wizard and magic world.
When it comes to friends, their circle is small. They don’t open up to people instantly and hide their emotions and feelings. Building trust in others is complicated for them. Art, writing and music are also their areas of interest.
Arcturian Starseed
The Arcturians are fourth and fifth dimensionaland highly evolved as compared with our third-dimensional world. At a particular time, millions of Arcturian souls dwell the earth. Mostly, they comprise of the younger generation. Their origin goes back to the Arcturus star located in the Boostes constellation. This star system is considered to be extremely old; but, Arcturian Starseeds incarnation in this world is quite recent. From our solar system, Arcturus is about 36 light years away.
Intelligent
Arcturians are very intelligent beings; they are the critical thinkers by birth and appear like leaders. Their nature is quiet and they don’t open up to others easily. Anger is their primary emotion known. As other Starseeds, they also have particular work on the Earth. They are the builders and planners of a new society. Their innovative nature not only helps in structuring but also building proper systems that benefit humans.
Arcturians are physicists, architect, community planners, mathematicians, system designers, musicians, and geometry artists. They want to experiment new things and implement their ideas. The Arcturians want the humans to enter fourth and fifth dimensions as well and teach them to raise their frequencies of vibrations. They are known to be the protectors and guardians of the higher consciousness not only on earth but in the whole universe.
Orion Starseed
The location of the Orion constellation is in the Gemini. It is visible from all over the world. In Greek mythology, the name Orion means the hunter. Orion Starseeds are not that old, and most of them came to Earth somewhere between the 1960s and 1990s. They are here to help humans by being one of them. But, Orion souls are present as the spiritual guideas well on earth.
Orion Starseeds are secure of their character and beliefs. They are the curious souls and like to ask so many questions. They thrive to know the inner wisdom of whatever comes in their way. People around them often get surprised by their questions.
Seekers of the truth
They are the seekers of the truth. But their habit of asking too many questions also makes them unlikable in their circles. They can’t control it, and curiosity doesn’t allow having them peace until they get the right answer.
A robust and healthy body with dark eyes and hair are the genotypic traits of Orion Starseeds. They usually remain healthy and don’t get affected by the diseases of the world. Orion operates from a place of duality which allows them to be egoist along with being an enlightened species.
There’s a strong inclination over competitions like sports; they always want to achieve perfection. They know their dual nature and accept it without changing it. Emotionally, they are weak and thus become self-centered. They also lack the actual understanding of other’s emotions when they are teaching their ways.
Pleiadian Starseed
The origin of the Pleiadian Starseeds is the Pleiades Star Cluster. They exist from dimension third to ninth. Pleiadians are known to provide the genetic model for the human development. They have nurtured many forms of life on Earth. They had guided Atlantis and Lemuria. Energy healing techniques are among their lessons that are being taught to the human world.
Pleiadian evolved millions of years ago; they are among the early races known by this Universe. Pleiadians are empathic, nurturing, communicative, imaginative and mystical. They are the healers and use light for this purpose. They not only nurture the human race but many other planets in the Universe.
Lemuria
Since Lemuria, millions of Pleiadian souls are embodied on earth. Their main aim is to remind us our association with the Source consciousness. Pleiadian Starseeds are the healers and heal without even knowing. They are highly sensitive beings and extremely instinctual.
Pleiadian Starseeds have empathic natures, and they are also really good at communication. Other souls feel joy in their presence. The feminine strength is more prominent in Pleiadian and thus, most of these Starseeds are females having outer and inner beauty. These souls love nature; and animals also feel calm when they are around. Pleiadians like to spend time outdoors with the trees and mountains. They have the ability to reflect back the purpose of any soul; they even help them in their mission.
The profession they choose is often related to the care of the world and its inhabitants. Professions of healing, communications, spiritual mastery, child care, and psychology are their favorites. As they care for the world a lot, they also go in the fields related to ecology to save the ecosystems. They volunteer in the services whenever the human world needs help. They like to help in whatever way possible.
Lyran Starseed
Lyra is the small constellation with the bright star Vega. Cygnus, Hercules and Draco border Lyra. In the whole Universe, Lyrans are quite ancient. They exist in the 4th dimension and are 32,900 light years away. They incarnated in other star systems as well including Earth. Lyrans were the first ones to seed our universe. They are said to be associated with the feline body; even in the human form, they have cat-like eyes and nose.
Knowledge
Lyrans are known for their knowledge in genetics. They are the root race of human beings and made the human genes. They also taught Atlantic and Lemuria about physical energy and its use. Using their vast knowledge, they have created many machines and devices that improved the lives of humans.
Lyran Starseeds are the travellers. They love to know the world more. Physical activity is also their thing, and they are mostly athletes and perfect in their fields. Their survival skills are also unmatchable. Their intuition is also quite accurate, and they can easily rely on it. They are the walking lie detectors and can easily differentiate between a fake and real.
Negative traits
When they descended on Earth, Lyrans developed some negative traits; but they were perfect in Lyra. They are highly lovable creatures, but their anger is really harsh. When they know how to work with their energy, they are confident; but when they don’t, they become highly self-conscious. They can be impatient, jealous and moody at times. Change makes them happy and they don’t want to remain in the single place.
Andromedan starseed
Andromedans are our galactic neighbors and located in our nearest galaxy – the Milky Way. The Constellation of Andromeda is the origin place of the Andromedan Starseed, which is located only 2.5 million light-years away. Andromeda Galaxy becomes highly visible in the night sky when Vertex star in the Andromeda constellation is located. Their dimensional perspective is from 3D to 12D.
Helping humanity
Since the first form of human life on Earth, Andromedans helped humans in many ways. As compared with the other Starseeds, Andromedan souls are not very common on Earth. The count of Andromedan starseeds lays around 800,000 only. Their life is modest having very little of Andromedan energy. The frequency difference between their galaxy and our galaxy is huge, that’s why very little amount of Andromedan souls had come to the Earth and turned into the physical form of humans.
Andromedan Starseeds are warriors by nature and perform supportive roles for Earth masters. They don’t seek attention but can affect others in their presence. They possess too much inner strength and many times, don’t know what to do with it. Their primary mission is to connect and open new galactic energetic trails between the two galaxies. They often love freedom and travelling.
