well well well.. so her backstory is currently being reworked on because i wanna do several background checks for my own peace of mind, but basically:

kuobakhaya syrgenovna kuschut comes from sakha, specifically yakutsk. long story short, she was born there, but her parents decided to move towards western russia when she was still a toddler with the intention of living in a different climate (i am still in the process of deciding whether or not bakhya had siblings or not) but later on in her life she moves on her own to brighton, england, in hopes of being on her own and also because her lifetime friendship with tisha (which basically makes them feel like brother and sister) could grant her a possibility to start a new life.

i used to have a very streamlined/long version of her biography but i've been reworking it in my head. the gist of it is that she's always been easily subjected to peer pressure, despite having a fairly assertive personality, bakhya desperately thrives off of being liked by others. similarly to tisha she became a drug addict in her early teens thanks to peer pressure, and has suffered from it for more than a decade, all while trying to get clean multiple times without success. she is a young woman in her current age of 28 years old, basically the same age as tisha, and at this moment in time she's been trying to quit drugs by going cold turkey on them (she used to do heroin) even knowing that it'd be pretty disastrous for her. the idea of going to rehab is scary to her, basically. (don't worry though she does go eventually)

in spite of a hardly manageable lifestyle, and while coping and dealing with mental illnesses among with eating disorders, she survived also thanks to four main passions of her: herbalism (which her mother taught her a lot about ever since she was a kid, and the knowledge of which she enriched by herself as an adult), poetry, romance (as in, the genre) and music. extra is dogs. shes a dog girl through and through, she used to have one as a child too.

she owns a plant/florist shop where she resells plants and grows her own as well, and for a fun spin sometimes she prepares seeds and fertilizers that are entirely handmade. how she can manage the costs of this place can be explained by tisha's hefty paychecks (killing for a job can bring you quite the bag) and the accumulated money she gains from being a shopkeeper herself. it's tough but she hangs on. kuobakhaya may not be the perfect person but she is also very spiteful and very very much stubborn, as well as a bit of a hater (good for her, with the things she's dealt with i can't blame her) and in spite of her nervousness she whip up some pretty stinging insults if she wants. she isn't afraid of acting and being friendly with complete strangers but she is more awkward when it comes to opening up. she also hates when people demean her and behave towards her as if she's an aimless child just because she seems, and is, nervous a lot of the time. she hates people infantilizing her like that and she's very vocal about it, also because she is still "almost 30 fucking years old" (her own words)

but she has obviously softer sides, such towards dogs, poetry, and children and well, plants.

bonus fact is that she doesn't trust people enough to tell them her real name all the time so she often introduces herself as "valya" which is a pseudonym most folk that aren't intimate friends of her address her as. it helps her feel a little safer and grants her an extra layer of anonymity sort of. it's also the name she signs her poetry with

it's been so long since I worked on a fic, but I'm currently making a backstory for my dnd character who's a high-society-infiltrating assassin (to have a Type. how embarrassing.)

Suffice to say, these outings were going well—well enough, in fact, to be worth suffering through a little chatter with Arthur’s date-of-the-week, ladies and lords who weren’t insufferable because they were dating him, but by the simple principle of being ladies and lords. Or so Amita kept telling herself.

i think people have a tendency to overlook just how emotionally-driven dirk is as a character. probably because he has a tendency to try and mask it with the whole 'oh im doing this because i have everything planned out and this is the most logical course of action' shtick.

i know heart as an aspect is more in reference to a person's soul than it is to their emotions, but goddamnit dirk thinks with his heart okay!!! he may try to act like the logical one but he is RULED by his emotions!!!!

(6:51 am thought) I really enjoyed Desmond having a journel of drawings of his ancestors. So imagine him having that same thing in the CoD/AC idea and the boys finding it! Just think it'll be interesting and like Soap night show off his journal as well.

I do plan on making him have his own journal as a reference to a certain character. The idea was his journal would be written in a mix of Arabic, Italian, English, and a bit of Latin and French. Soap will probably see it after one of the missions and they’d be like… sorta journal buddies?

Then there would be Isu-writings as well for super important and super dumb things.

Like, there’s one that just says “I just saw Ghost draw a dick on Soap’s cheek while he was sleeping but no one would believe me if I say Ghost did it. The asshole knows that because he stared at me while drawing it” in that weird Isu language and people are just thinking “oh, this must be CIA related” or “this must be important as hell”.

Another important thing about his journal is that it is filled with doodles as well, not just of 141 and the places they’ve been but of the people in his memories and the memories of his ancestors. It’s fascinating because on one page you would see a sketch of Sofia like how Ezio used to draw then on another page you would have an exact replica of Maria’s sketch from the Codex. Also, any time he starts to write in the same language for a paragraph, the boys will notice that it seemed like he was talking to himself. Like…

If this is the current state of England, then it is a… - completely written nice English cursive. Just below it: Fuck the monarchy! - written in crude English Below below it: Please don’t fight. - written in another language that they found out was one of the languages of the indigenous tribes in America

And I think This Is It for Aria. She's been a ruthless, "remorseless" (or so she likes to try and convince herself, *gestures at the PTSD*) killer since she was Just A Kid. But THIS kid (I'm operating under the assumption that this kiddo is a rookie. She sounds young to me, so I'm guessing she's absolutely no older than 20 tops) gets to her in a way that every other Jedi Master she's been killing for her father/Darth Noctis ever could have to this point. Maybe because it's a little bit like looking into a mirror of sorts....could that little hesitation and turn back be...some guilt, perhaps, Ari? 🍵

that said, chrysi eventually reached out to daeshim because once she met azure, she found out abt the reincarnation curse and she wanted daeshim to be able to find THIS version of her if he rlly needed to. so she gave him a little charm that would lead him to her (courtesy of azure and his magic) as a last resort. he gave her a gift in kind, because he was rlly fond of chrysi back when she still lived with the rest of the fates + he wants her to be able to call on him similarly if she ever needs him.
