I have spent days reading Five fics since season 2 aired, so I decided that I might as well start jotting them all down for anyone’s interested. It’s a long list, here we go xD

What it comes down to, really, is that Five had been too eager for results. Once it became clear to him that there was a connection between his powers and his energy level the obvious course of action, as he saw it, was to test this information. The hypothesis was this: higher energy levels = stronger powers and the easiest way to get more energy is to eat more. Pretty simple stuff. Too simple.

It's easy to forget sometimes when you look at Five; small lanky body, little boy-scout shorts, and a perfectly pristine uniform. A smooth youthful face that's always wearing a too-serious expression for someone (supposedly) so young. Not that the siblings don't respect Five as an equal, it's just... well. It's hard to take him so seriously. Especially when he gets mad and makes such an adorable pouty face.

It's why they find it so difficult to deal with reconciling Five to the boy they (thought they) knew, to the boy they're seeing standing right in front of them. But you can't really blame them, can you?

After all, it's hard to believe things without witnessing them first hand.

There is a monster under the bed and it's in the shape of a thirteen-year-old boy.

10.  Nonlinear theory for dummies by Inkjade, Gen, 4786 words

After forty-five years of fighting, it's kind of hard to know how to stop.

11.  Vital Signs by aye_of_newt, M, 3524 words

Sometimes, it's difficult for Klaus to tell if someone is alive or dead.

He's still struggling to fully comprehend the new world he's stepped into but he's determined that with Allison at his side he can get used to anything. Allison can't find a reason to say no. She should have said no.

Luckily for her, Five will always be there for his family, now that he's back.

What kind of dreams (or nightmares) do you think the Avatar characters have? Obviously Aang's got some wild ones and Sokka dreams about food eating people xD but what do you think The rest of the gaang and the Fire Nation kids dream about?

Okay so this is just my opinion but, even if Aang's dreams and nightmares in Season 3 were funny, they all came from the fear of failing that Aang had. So if the dreams/nightmares are influenced by the character's feelings/ insecurities then this is what i imagine each of them would dream about:

Katara- even though the fandom jokes about it a lot, she does mention/talk a lot about her mom in the series, and that is completely understandable considering the fact that she's dealing with that trauma since she was a kid. The North and South comics begin with Katara dreaming of her mom back in the SWT, and the dream was both happy and sad for her. She even woke up feeling nostalgic. Therefore i feel like Katara's more significant dreams consist of memories of her mom , and the good times she had in the water tribe before the Fire Nation altered that forever. Her nightmares could be heavily influenced by the amount of stress she has with being the "mom" of the group. She truly does act motherly with her friends, but it's all because she cares and she's has been doing so with Sokka since she was a kid. The idea of not being able to protect them probably haunts her dreams..

Sokka- i sometimes feel so bad for Sokka. Many people often overlook the fact that he was also a child personally affected by the war. In Season 1 we see that he feels this big responsibility to protect his tribe. After all, he is the oldest "man" left. That's a huge responsibility! He also has this need to prove himself as a warrior to Hakoda. Not only that, in the episode "Sokka's Master" we see that he also has this issue with being a non-bender in a group of powerful benders. This doesn't come from him being selfish, but he feels bad when he sees that he can't help people as much as the rest of the gaang does. So if you add that to his usual easy going, fun personality his dreams could honestly range from silly things like him being eaten by food, and him being awesome with Suki, to more serious nightmares that involve him not being/doing enough to protect those that depend on him.

Toph- out of all of the Ember Island players i feel like Toph's representation is most accurate 😭 that kid is tough as nails. The many statues she makes of herself in both Imbalance and later on in Legend of Korra make me think her dreams mostly consist of her being awesome in super badass scenarios! Or her being MELONLORD!!! Her nightmares however are the complete opposite. In "The Blind Bandit" she says she hasn't had a single friend in the 12 years of her life! like omgg bby let me give you a hug!!! And I thought it was super interesting how vulnerable she looks in the episode "The Avatar and the Firelord" when she asks if its truly possible for friendships to last more than one lifetime. She found more than friendships, she found a family with the gaang. In The Rift, her own father denied knowing her, which proves that family is not defined by blood ties. So letting go/ losing those friendships is a concept that seems to scare her. I feel like this is something she might have nightmares about.

Suki- because Suki is part of the gaang!!! She does have her own group with the Kyoshi warriors, not trying to erase that, but i consider her to be a part of the gaang too! With that being said we really do not know much about this queen, and i am so glad that she's getting her own comic! Hopefully we learn more about her! But from what we know, she began training since she was 8 years old! She is a brave warrior and a great friend. I feel like she takes her job as a Kyoshi warrior super seriously and is honored to be their fearless leader. I imagine that her happy dreams consist of her meeting Kyoshi herself. As for her nightmares, we do not get a lot of her (unfortunately) to really perceive her fears, but if Azula's taunting in "The Day of Black Sun Pt.2" are true, then Suki has been waiting on Sokka to rescue her for some time now. Seeing that time passed must have been hard for her. Her nightmares might have been influenced by her feeling abandoned, or her worry about the other Kyoshi warriors. (Also i love Azula, but Suki probably also dreamed of dragging Azula's big head on the ground.)

Zuko- omggg where do i even begin with this boy?! I feel like the Fire Nation teens are just so angsty! But when one's father burns off half of your face then that's the way it is igs. So I feel like the show was pretty in detail when it came to Zuko's character and his personality. Throughout the show, we see how he sometimes gets this flashbacks whenever he's feeling a specific way or when he's reminded of something. This was seen most in "The Beach". Despite being this angsty, emotional guy he is always remembering his early childhood very fondly despite being part of the most dysfunctional family in the Fire Nation. During his fever, we see his nightmares being this representation of the constant fight between good and evil inside him. Therefore i think this is what Zuko most likely sees when he has nightmares. (It is quite interesting how the "evil" blue dragon in his nightmare seems to represent Azula and the "good" red dragon is Iroh. That kind of made me wonder why Zuko seemed to associate the evil aspect with Azula rather than Ozai🤔). But back to the point. If the flashbacks he has are any indication, then his dreams most likely involve the good times he had with his mother and family during their vacations on ember island. (And because of his trauma, he might also relive the Agni Kai with Ozai in his nightmares.)

Azula- i could write essays on this girl. Her character is just so complex! And literally nothing in this world is gonna convince me that she didn't deserve better. Im gonna try to keep it as short as possible with her because quite honestly i could go on forever. But im having a hard time figuring out what a happy dream might be for Azula. Conquering Ba Sing Se?? Mastering Firebending at a young age?? Oh right she did do that! She wasn't like Zuko, in the way that she could look back on the past and remember it fondly. Quite the opposite actually, she refers to their beach house as "depressing". Then, later on in the bonfire, she treats everyone's emotions and confessions as a "performance". It's quite interesting to think that truly the only one who was trying to perform was her. Everyone else was very honest and open with their insecurities even if they didn't realize it. The fact that she thinks showing emotion is a performance of some sort makes it clear that everything she does is a perfectly put-together performance. Her nightmares could consist that facade falling apart, and her status as the perfect daughter being reduced to nothing along with her many achievements. The difference with Azula is that just as she became everything she dreamed of, she also ended up being everything her nightmares doomed her to be. ( I also have this hc that she dreamt of having a cat with ty lee and just living together at Ember Island after she got help and just lived their happy gay life of wtvvvv)

What happened exactly from ep 9-12? I believe she's kidnapped by that one dude and was worried something happened and what does she think of our hot general?

so...

from what i gather with my very limited knowledge of Mandarin

she is kidnapped by the successor to the helan king who xiao qi kills supposedly for revenge.

let’s just say he isn’t nice with her; he is quite rough with her actually and attempts to force himself on her multiple times.

after multiple attempts at escaping, she gets past once and encounters xiao qi’s people but realizes she can’t exactly escape but tells them that xiao qi’s life is going to be in danger in some way shape or form

i guess the message reaches xiao qi and the response among his men is somewhat mixed; some say she’ll be alright while others are like you gotta rescue her

xiao qi ends up going to save her and the successor to the helan king dude tries to drag awu with him as he jumps into a valley

this scene is key because awu knows what he might try and do so she yells multiple times telling xiao qi to not come closer (because she cares fo him xd)

he comes closer and when awu and the dude try to jump xiao qi cuts of the dude’s arm and saves awu.

later on awu wakes up and xiao qi discovers all of the wounds on her body (god damn that helan dude is way too harsh on a 15-year-old girl) and applies ointment upon them (xd xd xd)

he also tries to feed her medicine and the poor thing tries so hard to get up and take a sip but she genuinely can’t and resigns herself to let xiao qi feed her. it is then that xiao qi drops that epic line i have mentioned in a previous post.

she starts recovering and there is trouble for her with women trying to climb into xiao qi’s bed and stuff; she seemingly seems to give them a piece of her mind in her ever so soft tone making those girls absolutely humiliated

then there is this whole piece of conversation between xiao qi and awu as they walk around the place she is staying in and I suppose it is about the circumstances of their marriage. i think she makes an assumption as to why he married her to which he responds that she is not aware of the truth to which awu responds that she is strong enough to handle the truth.

later on the conversation shifts to xiao qi revealing how her father is kind of the mastermind behind the tragedy of the poisoning and the framing of the third prince and even their marriage.

awu is obviously heartbroken to learn about her father and breaks down and then some beautiful consolation scenes take place.

ep 12 ends with awu taking upon the role of a wangfei and sorting out them scheming women

37:55 - MC: I need to say, from my standpoint, the one I could see the most clearly was Xiao Zhan. It looked like there was something shining from deep within his eyes. XZ: I feel very touched. I felt like I could hear in the song a hopeful feeling. It was divine, and made me see “hope” and the “future”. It’s very abstract, but I liked it a lot. NY: As soon as FYQ opened his mouth, I felt (indescribable). I realized that in the music industry, he’s too superior.  -- NY: I’ve been thinking to myself- how could FYQ not continue to sing anymore.[FYQ is retiring, after this show is over, he will not be singing professionally anymore.] At the very last moment, now here is Ayanga. When he stood there singing I came to realize that even when Xiao Ge doesn’t sing anymore, he could be relieved that Ayanga is there to sing in his place.

Audience: /cheering/ MC: XZ, tell me. Whose idea was this? XZ: Actutally, it was Na-jie. She said she wanted to pay tribute. MC: ??? NY: It’s because previously we heard Hacken and Zhou Shen sing the “Ye Lang Disco”. After I saw that I thought that we also should sing a song like that. I wanted to pay tribute to my 80′s. MC: XZ. When you heard about the song, did you not even hesitate for a second? NY: He ignored me for a whole day! XZ: No, Na-jie! I really was working! I wouldn’t dare (ignore you)! NY: I was thinking “Oh shoot. He probably doesn’t like it.” MC: Or maybe he got scared.  XZ: Honestly I did hesitate at first. I didn’t think I would be able to control it. But Na-jie said she wanted it retro, and she explained her vision to me, and I was convinced. I said if we’re going to do it, let’s [go big or go home]. So we tried a retro style.

MC: We’ve been waiting six years for a new song from Huajian. Could you tell us about this song? ZHJ: Let me speak directly. For people my age, it’s hard to walk into a record shop... it’s highly likely that there aren’t many songs we can choose to listen to. That’s not to say that the current music of the youth isn’t good, it’s just that when you reach a certain age, there’s inevitably going to be that generational gap. I wanted to be able to give people in my generation a choice. For the past six years I’ve been thinking about this, and it’s only in the past year that I realized that after having written eight songs I was always talking about the past, when I was young.   1.) Please introduce yourself.

- Musical Department 3rd year. I’m the Kao Council’s Kasugano Shion.

2.) What first impression do people usually have of you?

- “Behaved”. And then when we get to know each other a bit more, it becomes, “You’re kinda weird.”

3.) But really, it’s?

- I don’t think that I’m a noisy person. I don’t know whether I am weird or not, too.

4.) What are you confident in?

- I don’t get surprised no matter what happens. My fortune-telling hobby sometimes warns me greatly about certain happenings.

5.) What are your weaknesses?

- … Shiki and Irinatsu said that I sometimes get easily offended…

6.) What was your nickname in middle school?

- “Shion,” and “Haru.” When I got to high school, Irinatsu started calling me, “Kasuga-chan.”

7.) What’s your favourite way to travel?

- If the weather is good, I like to walk.

8.) What was usually written on your report cards?

- … “One flaw he has is he’s quick to be offended.”…

9.) What’s one thing you absolutely can’t forgive?

- When Shiki’s keeping things to himself-- If he experiences a painful memory then… I won’t forgive myself.

10.) What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

- Fix my bedhair. Since I have soft hair, it takes quite a while to fix it in the mornings.

11.) What’s your favourite food?

- Shiki and Irinatsu have said that I like things that have a lot of calcium in it.

12.) How do you spend your days off?

- Lately, I’ve been researching ways on how to make fortune cookies. I can eat as many as needed until I get the “great luck” fortune.

13.) What is one bad point about yourself?

- … That maybe I really am… a bit quick to be offended.

14.) What’s your favourite place?

- I love the school’s rooftop. I feel so calm when I do fortunes there. I feel like I’ll make a really accurate fortune reading and stuff like that.

15.) How do you relieve your stress?

- I’ll try to predict what my luck is for that day. Fortune-telling is not “magical” at all but is based on data so, it is connected to self-analysis, too. Above all else, it makes me feel at ease. If that doesn’t work then… I’ll make a voodoo doll of the person giving me stress.

16.) What’s the thing you want to do the most right now?

- I want to oversee my students properly while they prepare for the upcoming Ayanagi Festival. I also want to be of help to the other first years even if they’re not my pupils. That’s because it’s what Shiki would want, too.

17.) What subjects are you good at?

- Math and science. I like subjects that have a definite answer.

18.) What subjects are you bad at?

- Japanese language. There are a lot of questions that have multiple answers depending on the person answering them so, I just can’t feel convinced about it.

19.) Sleep or eat, which one can you not live without?

- Shiki… I wonder if he’s eating and sleeping properly. Lately, I’ve been a bit worried about him…

- The Wheel of Fortune… I feel like something is about to happen…

- I’m Japanese! (laughs)

4.) What are you confident in?

- ‘Course I’m confident in my ability to make music. It’s a talent I inherited from my mom and dad after all~ That’s enough to make me feel confident in it, right?

5.) What are your weaknesses?

- I get hungry quickly. I munch on stuff even during meetings sometimes and Ryo-chin glares at me (laughs). Sorry, Ryo-chin!

6.) What was your nickname in middle school?

- “Masashi” “Irinacchan” “Nacchan” “Massan” “Masa” That too much? (laughs)

7.) What’s your favourite way to travel?

- Running! Sweating it out’s the best!

8.) What was usually written on your report cards?

- “Too lax,” or something? I was living in my grandma’s house when I was in elementary school, y’know? That’s why my body clock was like an old man’s, too.

9.) What’s one thing you absolutely can’t forgive?

- I tend to forgive anything! In exchange, it’d get pretty scary when I become super angry, ‘kay?

10.) What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

- I let out a loooooooooooooouuuuuuuuud voice! It relaxes me and ain’t it gonna help you wake up if you get surprised by your own voice?

11.) What’s your favourite food?

- Shaved ice. Unlimited sea grapes. I also loved the chanpuru* my grandma used to make me. Grandma, are you doin’ well~?

12.) How do you spend your days off?

- There’re times when I just laze around at home, there’re times I go to cafés to look for inspiration, too. I found a really good shop lately! It’s got a good atmosphere and at night there’s a piano being played there, too!

13.) What is one bad point about yourself?

- Only one is boring (laughs). Go ask everyone!

14.) What’s your favourite place?

- The work-room is my castle. It’s got everything there in order for me to express the music I make. Oh, and then after that, ya just gotta wait for your imagination to overflow!

15.) How do you relieve your stress?

- I play the piano fervently in a sound-proof room. I get drunk on hitting the keys as loudly as I can (laughs).

16.) What’s the thing you want to do the most right now?

- Camping! “Chiaki-chan, wanna go with me?” I realized I asked him that back when we were second years. That guy’s definitely the outdoorsy type and he’s got good physique. He looks like he’s good at putting up a tent!

17.) What subjects are you good at?

- Music’s gotta be number one, y’know? And then, social sciences? Like Japanese and English. I write lyrics, too, after all.

18.) What subjects are you bad at?

- Hm, I don’t think there’s much. I love everything.

19.) Sleep or eat, which one can you not live without?

- If I were to choose, it’d be food, probably~ Ah, but sleeping gives me good ideas, too~ Both are very important, y’know?

- I get called flashy a lot. I think it’s ‘cause I grow my hair out.

- I’m pretty serious and don’t have a lot of free time.

4.) What are you confident in?

- I’m pretty good at embroidery. Every year during April, I make a huge amount of stuff for my younger brother and sister.

5.) What are your weaknesses?

- You might not understand but, it’s “mochi”. When I was a kid and we went to a mochi-making event, I kept seeing Ryo eat it while looking so disgusted. I saw that and I ended up disliking it, too. Eating something with such a sour face is nonsense, you know!?

6.) What was your nickname in middle school?

- “Takafumi” and “Fumi”

7.) What’s your favourite way to travel?

- There’s really not any but, I do want to have a driving license soon.

8.) What was usually written on your report cards?

- When I was a kid, “Very mature,” was always written. I’m the eldest child so when I was still the only child, I was pretty behaved. There were a lot of people at home that it was hard to go out.

9.) What’s one thing you absolutely can’t forgive?

- Fuyusawa Ryo.

10.) What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

- Make breakfast. Lunch and dinner are what my younger sister’s in charge of so, I have to at least help with breakfast.

- Likes and dislikes aside, I make sure to finish anything my sister makes for me. She makes me a character boxed lunch everyday so, it’d be scary if I got teased for that.

12.) How do you spend your days off?

- Taking care of my family. Though, Irinatsu keeps inviting me to go camping. What nonsense.

13.) What is one bad point about yourself?

- I think it’s me spoiling my students too much. I’m probably weak to those younger than I am.

14.) What’s your favourite place?

- We moved to a newer building since 2nd term started but, I was pretty fond of the old school building we used during the 1st term. The facilities are old but it’s calming.

15.) How do you relieve your stress?

- Going back home and playing with the kids.

16.) What’s the thing you want to do the most right now?

- I feel like I won’t be able to relax until the Ayanagi Festival’s test stage is over. Making sure my students get into the Musical Department is what I wanna do the most for now.

17.) What subjects are you good at?

- I’m pretty fine with any subject but my specialty is probably kanji, geography, and calculation.

18.) What subjects are you bad at?

- Those shapes in math and time, too.

19.) Sleep or eat, which one can you not live without?

- I’m an early sleeper… Staying up late is nonsense.

- This term’s Kao Council members are independent. We don’t interfere with each other’s guidance policies and we respect each other’s opinions, too. But—Not having disagreements would make things too smooth, right? I wonder who’s being such a goody-two-shoes here…

This was actually a challenge answering from Nate’s POV xD There’s stuff that I KNOW ABOUT HIM AND WANT TO SHARE but he wouldn’t volunteer or he wouldn’t view the same way so… take it for what it is! And feel free to ask questions! ;w;

1. What is your name?

Oh. Wow. We’re starting this interview off with some tough ones, hunh? Uhh… hm. My name. My name… Let me think. (overly dramatic pause) Nathaniel Christian Ronan? Yeah. That sounds right.

2. Do you know why are you named that?

I was told my name means “God has given,” because my parents didn’t actually think they’d be able to have a second kid. That and Pops was an army chaplain - wanted me to have a name reflecting the faith. He was very literal in his approach. Ronan is an Irish surname, which seemed a lot more important 200 years ago than it does today. It means… uh, oh, shoot, I used to know… Don’t worry, it’ll come to me.

3. Are you single or taken?

(chuckles) Sorry folks, my roving days are over. Got a nosy reporter waiting for me back in Diamond City... whatever time I’ve got left I’m giving it to her.

4. Have any abilities or powers?

Powers? What, like, superpowers? That’d be awesome but, hah, no. Though I’ve been told my ability to talk myself out of trouble is uncanny. My martinis were legendary, and still would be if I find the ingredients for them in this apocalyptic wasteland. Friends say I’ve got a good ear for music… Oh, and ventriloquism. That’s always fun.

5. Stop being a Mary Sue.

I know you are but what am I?

6. What’s your eye color?

Blue, like my grandmother. (blinks dramatically several times for emphasis)

7. How about your hair color?

Coal back. (runs a hand through it almost nervously) And holding up better than the rest of me, considering the complete lack of well-deserved grey hair.

8. Have any family members?

I have a son, Shaun. Piper gave me roots, and Nat’s pretty much my little sister, too, at this point. The Railroad’s been more family to me than most of my own blood ever was.

9. Oh? How about pets?

Legs Washington, an orphaned radstag I brought to the Castle. He’s a bit of a mascot for the men, follows Shaun everywhere. Yeah, it’s adorable.

10. That’s cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don’t like?

You guess? Look, after this interview, I’m taking you to the Castle to meet them yourself. Your life will be changed. There’s plenty to dislike about the Commonwealth, enough to go mad over. It’s not exactly the charming old homestead of days gone by. But we’re making it better one day at a time.

11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?

Hah! “Duck and Cover” is a big one. Got me suspended from Railroad HQ once, though. I still say that was Deacon’s fault. I like long walks through the woods, playing baseball with Shaun, and a General’s work is never done but it does bring fulfillment. I like all those activities infinitely better when Piper’s around. Is that mushy? God, that sounds mushy. (smiles shamelessly)

12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?

Yeah. Some deserved it… some I’m still trying to make up for.

13. Ever… killed anyone before?

(stops smiling) Yeah. I have. You want a kill count? Six-word soundbites about all the blood and screams and the way men look when they realize they’re about to die? It’s not a fun fact. It’s not fun. Next question.

14. Name your worst habits?

I’m afraid that information’s classified. I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you. OH! LITTLE SEAL. That’s what Ronan means! Yeah, you know, like, selkie babies.

15. Are you gay, straight or bisexual?

Aha… seriously? I’m Pipersexual, end of story. Unless you count the undying affection between my best mate Deacon, and me, which I’ve been told occasionally inspires jealousy. Honestly, I never gave putting a name to my romantic inclinations much thought. It’s always been women, but maybe I just never met the right man.

16. Do you look up to anyone at all?

Piper, for sure. She’s - the way she sees the world? It gives me hope. She’s brave, brave enough to fight for what she believes in. No matter how bad it gets she always finds a light to hold onto, somehow, and keep going. And she’s genuine. I didn’t know what courage really was until I met her. Scribbles’ friendship is… a hell of a lot more than I deserve. I wouldn’t be the same without it. And, God, she’s funny. Sweet, and - a-ha, hm… we’d be here all day if I tried to list all the reasons why I love her.

I also have immense respect for Nick Valentine. He’s a good guy. Without ‘im, I might still be chasing my tail out in the woods somewhere. Or worse. Nick was a friend to me when I needed it most, put everything on the line to help me find my son - didn’t even hesitate. I’ll never be able to repay him for that.

17. What kind of animal are you?

One of a kind. (winks)

18. Do you go to school?

The Commonwealth has a way of schooling everyone, doesn’t it? I’m a bit too old for arithmetic and hall passes, but I never stop learning, if that’s what you mean.

19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?

I’-ve… been down that road before. (breaks eye contact abruptly) Times were uncertain enough when Shaun was born. Now? Scribbles and I roll the dice every day of our lives. Asking her to marry me – starting over – was the scariest thing I’ve ever done. A baby would be, uh, a really big change. (smiles briefly, uncertain) Maybe if – no, I don’t know. Piper’s never shown any desire for something like that. If she did – even if she did... (sighs) I – look. Let’s just move on, okay?

20. Do you have any fangirls/fanboys?

Oh yeah, I have an ensemble of groupies that follow me around the wasteland with a pack brahmin and an eyebot.They pitch my tent for me and cook all my meals. I pay for services with my autograph instead of caps. (rolls eyes, but keeps a smile)

21. What are you most afraid of?

Losing someone I love. I know we don’t get any guarantees out here in the wasteland, but… loss never gets any easier. It makes it hard to open up, y’know? I spent a long time keeping folks who cared about me at arm’s length, and some days it’s still a challenge.

22. What do you usually wear?

What you see is what you get! Derbys, slacks, a shirt as white as I can get it in these conditions, and a black vest, because that never goes out of style. My favorite hat is - take a look at this. It’s a bicorne. Has anyone worn that since the French Revolution? It’s great. I love it. Piper doesn’t.

23. What’s one food that tempts you?

You know what I miss? Chocolate. I’d kill for chocolate. … kidding.

24. Am I annoying to you?

Hah! I married a journalist. This is just another Tuesday.

25. Well, it’s still not over!

26. What class are you (low/middle/high)?

I mean… it’s not like anyone’s ‘wealth’ compares to what it was like before the war. I’m not living off charred molerat, but I certainly won’t be moving into the Upper Stands anytime soon. Most of what I have, I made myself.

27. How many friends do you have?

More than I deserve. Piper and Deacon are probably my two best friends though. Nick, Preston, and Kent oughta be mentioned, too.

28. What are your thoughts on pie?

You mean those damn perfectly preserved slices stuck in the Port-A-Diners? God, I’ve tried everything. I spent an entire afternoon trying to break in. What is the glass even made of? I couldn’t put a scratch on it. You have to just keep pushing the button. Over and over. I’m convinced it’s all some Vault-Tec conspiracy. There is no pie. The pie is a lie. Piper says she managed it once, but I don’t believe her.

29. Favorite drink?

Nuka cherry! No question.

30. What’s your favorite place?

There’s a spot up at the top of Diamond City. I mean the top top, even higher than the Stands. Clear night with a full moon? You can see for miles. Can’t be beat.

31. Are you interested in anyone?

You’ve - been listening, right? Aha, was I unclear about being madly in love?

You’d be surprised how often it gets asked. (chuckles)

33. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean?

Lake. Definitely. I’m marginally less likely to get eaten there. That being said, I was up in Maine once, went out to pick lure weed. You know, those radioactive yellow flowers that grow in muddy ponds? Bad idea.Terrible idea. Maine is a terrible place and I will not be building a summer home there e-ver.

34. What’s your type?

Kickass reporters with the brightest hazel eyes you’ve ever seen, hair like Aphrodite, and a smile to make you melt.

35. Any fetishes?

Look, you’re very nice. Really. And I appreciate the interest, but ah, this isn’t any of your business. Only one person gets to ask me about those and - you aren’t her.

36. Camping or outdoors?

Camping? Oh man, those were the days. An RV trip would be the bomb. It’s not much of an option these days. But I’m used to sleeping rough, and I gotta admit, it has its charm.

One of my friends makes her music playlists based off of every individual name of her friends, and then when she runs out of friends, based off all her favorite book and movie characters and idols. In low caps and ends each with a little period, like “ anna. ” She looks you in the eyes intensely and has ten thousand facial expressions with hand motions to match. She listens to heavy cycles of NCT next to twenty one pilots and the randomest guitar hits. She only sees the personalities of people she knows in the snyopses of books at Barnes and Nobles, eats frozen yogurt while worrying about drama while sitting crisscrossed in public, pulls a shower of compliments from a never-ending well of aggressive care and concern, and doubles over making the xD face when she laughs. She’s probably broken the volume knob on the radio in her car and is scarily very chill with abandoning the GPS on interstate highways.

Another girl smiles softly and talks in the highest, cutest voice and it sounds exhausting to be THAT sugary sweet all the time, but she is the literal personification of a mix between Fluttershy and PinkiePie, and she gifted me with one of those kawaii brand baby lamb lamps from Daiso the Japanese store for Christmas when I barely knew her, and it feels like she stepped out of the softest anime. She has at least fifty stuffed animals piled on her college dorm bed, and one of those sad-eyed kitten posters, and reads advanced theology and social justice pamphlets. She’s the pro-life club street activism officer. She’s also in pre-med and wants to be an obstetrician, so she pulls who knows how many all-nighters cramming information into her sweet sweet brain. Her dad’s retired but not done working yet and lives in Africa. She’s visiting him this summer and promised to send pictures of giraffes.

Another girl has THE frizziest hair, is the definition of short and filled with silent rage, could kill a man with her heels and I wouldn’t doubt it if I heard that she had. She’s been known to type FUCK in all caps 50 pt font on her laptop’s PowerPoint while suffering through hard lectures. She has the sharpest wings and most unbelievable makeup skills ever known to womankind and wears dresses with steep slits up the side. Every girl was on her waitlist for winter prom style prep. but she has a laugh like small wind chimes and her soul blossoms like a sunflower in front of her three closest friends, and she takes them out to get cheeseburgers at 3 in the morning if they feel like it. She confides jokes quietly and makes the best chemistry study guides.

There’s a “super senior” dude who is one of High Heel Terror Girl’s best friends. Since she approves of him, it’s fine, although while he doesn’t smell fishy, there’s still something hard to grasp about him, like a slippery eel. He hangs out in the freshman girls’ dorm lounge past 2 AM, and at first everybody thinks he’s a creep because he’s the only male in there past 2 AM, but turns out he just has a hard-to-read personality and his study group is always in there and he’s too suave for his own good. He responds immediately to tumblr humor and is too direct with his observances. I still can’t read him all the way, and I don’t think anyone can yet and it’s very likely no one will be able to. He’s kinda small sized and we thought he was gay for a bit, but he just likes hair gel. Actually, no, given this description, I think he might actually be gay. But if he is then it’s a far back in the shady shadows of the closet gay. He’s a Pandora’s box and we all kind of leave it that way, and he likes it that way. Maybe I should be scared. But he platonically brought my best friend flowers on her birthday because he knows she likes to braid them into her hair and he’s so fast to offer his help to anyone who needs it, he just lets people use him, walk all over him really, with a one-sided smile the whole time, and he’s known across campus as that “there in an emergency” guy. He wears suits on the nice days and will be off, wild in the workforce, come this fall.

Another girl is so absorbed in her love for logic and words and story and debate that you can see it in her walk and the creases in her dirty red hair. She’s quick to throw fists at the first sight of injustice and shifts her weight eagerly when she’s sitting on her small feet on the couch and immediately has a solution or plan for everything. She’s always working on a new OC or binging a new Webtoon or practicing for DND. She has a bit of an instep and likes old sci-fi movies and classic rom coms and is, oh my Lord, the BEST baker ever. His mophead is often swiveling around searching for and keeping tabs of his friends who are 94% of them mischief makers.

Then there’s this girl down the hall who is taller than the green giant himself and has a shoe size that matches her massive love for concert-going. She took a gap year to teach children in Guatemala and rocks her spot on the pro volleyball team even though she’s only played for a few short years. It’s not her passion, but she cares about the members and likes the exercise. She cracks up over stupid economic projects, her laughter piercing through the dorm walls at random times, and upon me showing her them, thinks the sarcastic summaries on YouTube are a godsend. She sits quietly when she’s a guest and says she distracts herself from stress by “listening to other people vent instead.” She is the friend who corrales all the different friends into one, massive, Last Supper-esque convention meeting of friend tables. She somehow is “one of the guys” but also very definitely “one of the girls” and comes back at 12 AM exhilarated from a campus-wide capture the flag.

Will you tell us more about your OCs? What are their stories?

i’m pissed off and grumpy and i’m gonna make this 10000x longer than it needs to be specifically to piss off the anon that wanted me to stop sharing my art of my characters so here goes

This guy’s name is Teddy. He’s the nicest person you’ll ever meet. He likes puppies and space and snuggling. 

When he was 15, he moved from Chile to the US, where he and his family now reside. However, upon turning 18, he has since moved out to a town over. He still keeps in contact with his parents nearly every day, and he loves them plenty. His parents worked very hard to be able to afford those arms of his. He didn’t want to burden them any further, so as soon as he got them at the age of 17, he immediately started working towards living on his own.

He’s a very hard and committed worker. He has tried very hard to become fluent in English since he’s moved to the US. Spanish is his first language! Living in a small secluded area meant he never had the need to learn English as a second language early on, so it’s still a struggle for him sometimes. But look at him now! 21 and fluent.

Also, remember when I mentioned his arms? Do you see?? have you noticed???? he has robot arms. Wow! This is because he does not have real arms. Not anymore, at least. He lost them when he was 12. Unfortunately for Teddy, the touchy and contact heavy person that he is, he cannot feel with his robotic arms. So he’s a very sad man. In fact, he’s very hesitant to touch things at all, even if he cannot feel what he may want to touch.

He’s not allowed to touch the dogs at work. He works at an animal shelter, doing heavy lifting in the back. He can lift a lot of things because of his arms! Such a strong boy! But in turn, he needs to keep his body mass up to support the weight and constant stress of his arms. So he’s got a nice bod. Whoever he’s dating must feel very lucky.

This is Hazel. He’s feels very lucky, because he’s dating Teddy. However, every other aspect of his life he’s not as keen on. He’s a very grumpy man.

Hazel is not 100% my own character. He was created by my friend. This does not mean I love him any less. If anything, I probably draw him the most. He probably wouldn’t like that fact if he knew it, though. Because he’s, as previously stated, a grouch. He gets into fights, he hates most of the people he lives with, and he’s known to seclude himself from time to time. To most people, he might seem like an elusive asshole.

But, this doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a nice side. Aside from being a bit rowdy, he’s a rather caring person underneath. So long as he cares for you, he will turn out to be a rather attentive listener, and will fight on your behalf. He’s not a very good fighter, for as many fights as he gets into, so let’s hope that doesn’t happen. 

Speaking of fighting, and just in general being rather bad at it– He’s a man to worry about! Always coming home with a black eye or a broken nose. Who wouldn’t want to care about him? I certainly would!

While not as much of a softy as his boyfriend, he is probably the most physically softest boy around. Look at him! Such fluffy hair! Such poofy clothes! And his skin??? oh, BABY BUTT SOFT! Such a pleasant man to look at. (Just don’t stare for too long, because he’ll probably punch you)

This lovely man’s name is Harley. He’s tall and doesn’t say much, and he’s always coughing for some reason. He’s also quite the memer.

He doesn’t have much to do with the other two, other than the fact that he lives under the same roof as them. He lives in a house with five other people! Wow! That’s a lot! While in his own home, he’s well known, he’s probably not seen too often. Moreso because he tends to be very quiet. But boy, when he’s around, it’s hard not to see him! Long limbs and a flowing red scarf? Hard to miss, for sure.

While his sense of fashion is questionable to say the least, his sense of humor is even more so one to remember. While deadpan and stoic, he’ll deliver the dankest, absolutely moisture promoting memes that’ll ever pass through your ears. If you need to know the latest meme, he’s your guy.

And obviously his library of memes have attracted quite the crowd. Everybody’s dropping their pants for this guy, for reasons unbeknownst to me past the fact that he’s the meme king. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was bangin’ someone in the house right now. (spoiler: he is and she’s a total babe, and sucker for his memes.)

This is not the total babe that’s banging Harley.. Sorry to get your hopes up. However, she is a babe on her own, and her name is Candy. She’s sweet and energetic, and she believes in you.

She’s a close friend of Teddy’s, and even works the same place and job as him! Though lacking in the robotic strength department, she’s stout and has a lot more muscle than you might think. So don’t worry, she’s qualified for the job. She, again like Teddy, is a lover of dogs and animals in general.

She’s not part of the same household, but she’s lived in the same town all of her life, and she even got her own dog from the shelter!

Her dog’s name is Noodle. Yes, she’s getting a spot on this because Noodle is very important. She’s a beagle and she likes eating cardboard boxes. She is the most important character in this universe.

This is Nova. She’s 4′9 and 18 years old. She’s often mistaken for being twelve. Sometimes younger. But she takes that as a compliment! Everything’s a compliment to her. Criticism is always constructive in her mind.

She loves colorful things and drawing with her friends. Giggly and finds the most odd things fun and joyful, one might say she’s the epitome of an LOL so R4NDUM xD! girl. And she probably is. But she finds comfort in the things she likes and does, so nobody judges her on it. In fact, all of her friends celebrate such a feat! All of her friends are a little bit out there, and they all love each other.

She, like Candy, does not live under the same roof as the first three. It seems like the other three who live under that household will forever be a mystery.

Speaking of mysteries– Nova loves a good mystery! Catch her and her friends inspecting rocks on the ground in search of a crumbling forgotten tomb of the undead. She’d never go inside it, but she’d love to take pictures of it to share with others! She thinks of herself as an adventurer, even if she doesn’t like putting herself in danger. She believes that you don’t need to be in harms way to have fun and explore!

This gal’s name is Salmon. She’s loud and rambunctious, and if you look into a body of water long enough, she’ll emerge from it wresting a fish no doubt.

She’s hard of hearing, but spending a majority of her time in and underwater, she forgets that she ever is. And when she’s not, she’ll be sure to let you know to speak up. Aggressively so. She’s just an aggressive person in general.

Unlike Nova, Salmon is the definition of danger. She’s feisty and loves exploring, and she’ll be the first of your friends to fight a large fish for dominance. She’ll probably win, too.

She’s not really purely friends with one or two people. She’s always just sort of around whether you know her personally or not. Catch her a state away showing a leg on the side of the road to get back home. She knows she’s a sizzling masterpiece and she’ll use that to her advantage to get back home. It’s happened more than once.

Who the fuck is this??? I don’t know! He doesn’t even have a name but I liked how I drew him so I made a post with a picture of him in it. So now I’m going to give him an entire character and personality just out of spite.

His name is Leaf and he’s another one of Teddy’s friends. He enjoys wearing banana suits atop windy roofs of 10 story apartments. Why? For the thrill.

He’s never worn the same outfit twice. Or at least nobody’s ever seen it. He frequents the town’s beloved Super Sally’s Salad Bar, not for the salads but for the delicious other-food they serve. Turns out a salad bar has a lot more in it than plants. I guess it’s like IHOP but even though pancake is in the name, they serve a hell of a lot more than just pancakes.

He’s a food lover, and he always has a snack in his pocket. Whether or not he’ll share with you depends on just how much you’ll do for the sake of a snack. So long as your willing to kill a man, you’re in the clear for his pocket granola.

He’s also the cool friend. Even though he doesn’t seem to work a job that pays much, he always seems to have a lot more money than you’d expect. He’s always getting obscurely neat gifts for his pals. It’s suspicious, but nobody seems to be complaining. Instead everybody is only slightly skeptical of his means.

I’m bored...

Heck yeah, I’m bored... so I found a list of random questions somewhere on the internet and I’m just going to answer these! Be amazed how my mind works! (If you bother to read all the answer that is...)

1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? Based on look, I’d probably guess I was somewhere in my twenties... But, based on my mental state... Maybe 18 years old? (In truth, I’m 27 years old right now...)

2. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Because in the end all we care about it fitting in and being loved. Even if you say you don’t care, you do. And as the saying goes: “The Nail that stands out gets hammered down.” Even if you try to do what you like, it’s probably not going to work out. Except when you’re good at what you like! If you’re successful (aka have lots of money), no one cares how crazy you are. They’ll love you, or actually, they’ll love your money. xD In short, we do shit we don’t like, because humans a fickle beings who love praise... Or something like that... ^^;;

3. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world? Can’t we just all love each other? I’d really like to understand why people get so upset about other people beliefs, or ways of living. (Of course, living your life as a mass murderer is just wrong, but...) As long as the way we life doesn’t hurt anyone else, or keeps them from living their life as they want,... Live and let live! It’d be really nice if people didn’t get upset about everything that goes against their beliefs. (Oh, and I’d like to get rid of that Global Warming issue of course (among others)... It’s kinda sad though, that this seems to be the easier attainable goal.)

4. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? Um, if the average life span of a human was 40 years... I’d probably be living on the streets right now.... (Because my parent’s would be dead, and I’m currently still living with my parents, so...) ...anyway, personally... I’d probably have given up on having any kind of future by now. If I had only 40 years in total... I’d have lived about 3/4 of my lifespan already as a useless piece of shit. Might as well stay that way the rest of my life? ^^;; (Oh, well... I actually suppose society would’ve given up on me already, regardless of whether or not I have...)

5. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things? I’m probably more worried about doing things right, because whatever the right thing is changes per person. Whether or not I should eat pizza every night is debatable, whether or not I burned the pizza is not!  ...if I fuck up, people will tell me I made the wrong choice. If I succeed in whatever I decided to do, people will agree it was the right thing. (Except when I decided to murder someone and succeed, I’m pretty sure people would agree I did the wrong thing, except maybe when I murdered a murderer, then maybe they’d say I did the right thing....) So, yeah....

6. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? ...don’t poop and pee when you’re diaper is being changed, your parents won’t appreciate it.... (Come on, it’s a newborn child who doesn’t understand me! What the hell were you expecting!?) xD 7. What’s something you know you do differently than most people? Um... I don’t know... I’m a bit of an odd one, so I probably do a whole lot of thinks differently than most people, but I don’t care enough about other people’s habits to really know if they do something different than me....^^;;

8. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?  What’s holding you back? Travel all around Japan! What’s holding me back? MONEY! 

9. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of? I’m holding onto a lot of things I need to let go off... Take a look in my room, there’s too much shit! But I love my shit, so I keep my shit, but I don’t need my shit!

10. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why? Country is easy... Japan! I’d love to move to Japan. Why? Because everything I love exist in Japan...!

11. Why are you, you? Because if I wasn’t I, you couldn’t be you. ^^

12. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you? From personal experience, losing touch with a good friend who lives right near me. It’s hurts, really bad!

13. What are you most grateful for? ... the awesome people on the internet who show their appreciation for my subtitles time after time...? (Because I’m a fickle human being who loves praise! ^^)

14. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones? I think... I’d rather lose all my old memories... As painful I’d be to lose all my memories, I’d eventually be able to fill the gap with new memories. If I wouldn’t be able to remember anything I experienced from here, that’d probably become a huge pain in the ass and completely interfere with my life!  If for instance I was 80 years old right now, I’d probably rather keep my old memories and never be able to make new ones. ^^

15. Has your greatest fear ever come true? Not yet, but almost... It almost came true! (A bit more than a year ago...) It was horrible! 

16. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset?  Does it really matter now? I do remember that time I was really upset just a bit more than a year ago... (see question no.15) But 5 years ago, let me think... 5 years ago I was still in University I guess... Everythign went pretty smooth... And I doubt I was really upset about anything... not more than usual... I guess... If we’re talking 6 years ago... I was really upset I failed ONE class of my MINOR!! And thus had to stick around for another year in university for 5 frigging ECT!

Ah, I remember why I was really upset 5 years ago! I failed my driver’s license, twice!! (Because nerves!) I passed the third time, thankfully.... 17. What is your happiest childhood memory?  What makes it so special? Best memory... let me think... I honestly can’t really remember any specific childhood memories that made me particularly happy... I’m better at remembering the embarrassing ones I guess... 

18. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever? Not that I can remember,... Silences are usually really awkward, and I always try to console myself with the thought that if they don’t talk, they probably don’t mind the silence, so I don’t have to mind it either.... Because I actually don’t.

19. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job? Not sure, it’s not like I really have a job...I work as a free-lance translator, so... I’d probably keep doing it for the fun. Also, a million dollars won’t last me until I die, so... 20. What is the difference between being alive and truly living? Being alive it watching the DVD recording of a stage play, truly living is going to the theater and being right there as it is performed!

21. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you? Um.... I probably wouldn’t feel as inclined to help people with their shit. If you’re a unemployed parasite living at your parents house, it’s really hard to say no to whatever request they make... If they wouldn’t judge me for saying no, I’d probably refuse to do a whole lot more things! (Because in the end I’m just a lazy piece of shit...) At least I have a “job” right now, so I get to refuse more things already.

22. Would you break the law to save a loved one? Probably, yes... Depending on whatever that loved one has done obviously that they need to be saved, and what law I need to break, but.... I don’t think I’ll kill people to cover up a murder committed by my loved one, but... If I had to shoot a person, because he/she threatens to kill my loved one, I might just do it...

23. Decisions are being made right now.  The question is:  Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you? Um... Both probably.

I'm actually sorta obsessed with drawing tiny, dabbing figures right now because I just discovered an easy way to draw dabs and…well. It’s fun?)

AWW tysm! Tbh though I get the struggle. I hated all paints for the longest time because I also had no idea how to use brushes and control the amount of water I used and ended up with shapeless blobs or super runny pics (also I’ve never actually learned how to paint or draw…a couple of short lessons when I was really little, a month(?) of lessons around last year or the year before, that’s pretty much it. So idk how to do things really lol). But I sorta-recently got obsessed with watercolor paintings (SO PRETTY) and that’s why I started ‘practicing’ (AKA watching/reading a bunch of tutorials and trying my best to remember the few things I actually learned XD). I still can’t draw stuff just with watercolors though, I need to do a light pencil sketch and then color with paint.

OK that sounds so cool but problem: My phone is a super old flip phone that I’ve had since I was eight(?), so mobile games are a no XD and my parents probably wouldn’t buy me anything that costs money (they let me play simple free RP games and dating games on the internet since those are usually fairly innocent (I mean, it’s plot/character-based stuff, almost like a manga) but not anything too 'big’ you know? If I was old enough to buy games like that with my own money I don’t think they’d care tho, as long as I didn’t get obsessed with games or anything.)

Also just realized that I’m stupid and apparently forgot that I don’t have Steam. I was going to install it but can I ask you exactly what it is/how it works, first? I’m just kinda worried about randomly installing this since I don’t quite get it yet ^^;; (sorry I can be really, really stupid when it comes to stuff like this)

THAT’S SO CUTE. Let me recommend you a game too- a free RPG/Dating game called Ascension by ImpQueen! No download, you just go to ImpQueen and play it. There are three(?) chapters. The first chapter might not be that interesting compared to other games, but the game and the story keep getting more complex as you go on :D you also get new dateable characters every chapter and the MC, Aida, is AWESOME. Also, in chapter two and three you can actually customize the main cast’s appearances, like you’d do in a dress-up game! Another cool thing is that you get different 'personality points' depending on the things you say/do, and the amount of points you have for a certain personality can change the outcomes of certain situations.

It’s also really fun because other than the romance, the plot and Aida’s journey is super interesting too.

Funny thing is I thought I liked physical contact (like cuddling, hugging, hand-holding) but turns out that’s not the case XD I get super awkward when anyone who’s not my mom, dad, or my little sister/younger cousin touches me. Tbh the only person I feel comfortable with cuddling anytime, anywhere is my little sister because she’s still smol LOL

It’s definitely weird when people who aren’t that close with you try to hug you though. The only thing that can make it worse is if they gush about what a good, sweet child you are while doing it XD

He does show emotion when he’s  trying to comfort someone, but that doesn’t happen very often.  *stares at that paragraph* *dabs aggressively* 

Ah, that’s what makes it even more impressive! I mean, we had art in elementary school, but it was mostly the ‘learn stuff yourself’ kind of art. Needles to say, I didn’t learn a lot. But watercolours really are a nice way of painting, since they can have really vibrant colours, yet be serene at the same time. Most people I know who draw, watercolour or not, use sketches and references, so I don’t see anything wrong with that ^^ Just take your time to learn what you want ^^

Oh, I see! So, free, computer games for you… Well, right now, CP is the only one I can think of, but I’ll discover more in the future and share them with you when I do ^^ The only paid games I play are on my phone, since I’m too shy to ask my parents to but me otome games… I have 0 problems playing them on my own, but not a lot of people know that I play them. 

Right, steam.  It’s a gaming platform. Technically, it’s an app for the computer on which you can download games that are available in the steam store. Some are free, some are paid. 

This is how the page looks. The little green button in the upper left corner is to download the app itself, and you’ll also need to create an account.  You’ll need to give an email, but it’s only for account verification and to send you bills if you decide to buy anything. However, if you don’t buy anything, the email will mostly be useless after the verification. I mean, I don’t remember getting a spam email from them at all.  After that, just go to the search bar, type Cinderella Phenomenon. And press play the game! It should automatically download the game to the steam app and you’re good to play ^^  No worries about asking questions! It’s actually admirable how you’re so careful around the internet ^^

Oh, I’ve actually played that before! I could never finish chapter 3, though… For some reason, it keeps glitching at one scene making me unable to continue further =3= It was quite fun to play! I just don’t remember most of it anymore, since it’s been a while since i’ve played ^^;;;
