if a characters name is just a word related to their powers or job then they are transgender. because obviously their parents wouldnt know that information the second theyre born so how would they have those names. its because they named themselves

What are y'alls favorite seemingly contradictionary emotions to combine?
Mine is resigned terror.
Like either being so used to fear or so aware that there is no escape from the thing that scares them so they're resigned to it, but they're still so very afraid.

i was thinking about this line from my fic:
But the fall had hurt, too. Because the wind had cut into his useless wings like knives, his skin and grace peeling away under the friction, and he had been looking right up at the multicoloured and unreachable expanse of sky just to see it fade from his eyes into dull greys.
and i came up with this. i hope the vision came through

Since ghost is a wraith, is it possible too that there are other ghouls like him?? Just diffrent types like poltergeists, etc?
(BTW I LOAV YOUR COMICS GRHRHHRJ)
I try to avoid involving creatures like poltergeists, angels or demons in the monster!au world, since the existence of monsters like those kind of implies the existence of an afterlife/a higher power and i feel like that'd be a bit boring. so...not sure! in your interpretation of the monster au, poltergeists might exist, and so might angels and demons and a host of other monsters.
in my canon though, they don't. wraiths are the closest you'll get to a ghost-like monster and, technically, they're not even dead.
