Steve and Eddie truly do feel like that “dude, but like romantically” post to me
#steddie#Steve x eddie#like I really love the idea of them still calling each other dude or man or whatever once they’re together???#maybe that’s because I rarely like pet names so I’m biased but like…#maybe dude *is* their pet name kinda thing?#i just remember reading this guy saying he and his husband call each other buddy and I thought it was cute lol#i mean I think they might have nicknames that are in jokes eventually (or Eddie does for Steve)#and now I’m just rambling 🤣#and not saying anything new sorry I just had this in my drafts for some reason#pizzaqueentxt

FYI:
I do not think Phineas and Isabella will “break up” or anything of that nature in the new seasons.
At most, Isabella’s crush might take a backseat to some of her other character traits such as her being a leader, her snarky side, etc. Similarly to how they wrote her in Candace Against the Universe. They chose to explore other aspects of her character in the limited runtime of movie, which I fully support. But now they’ll have two full seasons, I highly doubt her crush won’t come up in some aspect.
The pnf writers know phinbella is a popular ship they would not sabotage it. I also suspect we might see Phineas’s side of things more, since the original show was lacking in that regard (and I suspect the crew have seen some of our critiques of “Act Your Age” and will not want to repeat that).
if you see me posting sad phinbella breakup content! that’s an au!! I don’t want them to “break up” in the show (I put “break up” in air quotes bc it’s unlikely we will see post-relationship phinbella in the show at all). I just think breakup head canons are neat and interesting to explore. There’s the canon timeline, then my chfil timeline (spoilers: they aren’t going to break up!!), then my breakup timeline. And then allllll the other timelines from other fic writers!
I can tag the breakup content if anyone would prefer not to see it! bc I would like to post more haha.
#four years ago I H A T E D phinbella breakup content and any notion they wouldn’t be together forever#so if you don’t want to see that I get it 🤣🤣#time changed me 😔🙌#LMAO#now I’m like hehehehe it’s good angst#I just think it’s important to note that sometimes things work out and sometimes they don’t and both outcomes are normal and okay#what better way to show that than with a show that featured tons of aus within the actual series?#anyway#thanks for coming to my Ted talk#pnf#phineas and Ferb#phinabella#phinbella#phinbella breakup au#cadence rambles#isabella garcia shapiro#Phineas Flynn

A/N: Oh my god, you guys. Uh, happy sin day, I guess?? 🤣 Because I am apparently incapable of just leaving a one-shot alone, this is a prequel to I Don't Want a Lot for Christmas spurred by some unhinged 4 AM thots. It is definitely the darkest thing I've written so far. Whoops.
Big thanks as always to @paperweight91 who was not only the fantastic sounding board she always is, and let me ramble on about all my research into furnaces of all things but also helped me figure out the title for both this fic and the greater AU it's now a part of (🤦🏻♀️ Seriously, Kris, just stop!). Hat tip to Bruce Springsteen for both, as well. I'm sure he'd be thrilled. 😂
Any comment, reblog, or ask to let me know what you think will be greatly appreciated. Even if it's just screeching at me. As always, thank you so much for reading! 💜
Andy pulled up at the address he’d been given, more surprised than he should have been that it was an abandoned warehouse. Of course, this sort of deal would be completed there. He should have known from the sorts of channels he’d had to go through to set it up. Connections left over from his days in the DA’s office. Well, that wasn’t the side of the law he was on anymore.
He walked into the large open space that made up most of the building to find a man standing in the middle of a few folding chairs. He had a neatly trimmed mustache and was wearing sharp but tight clothing. He wasn’t who caught Andy’s attention, though. No, that was you, slumped over in one of the chairs, wearing the clothes you must have been taken in. Even like this, he could tell your pictures hadn’t done you justice. You were absolutely perfect. Or you would be, once he was done.
“Barber!” the man called out, a satisfied smirk raising his mustache. “How nice of you to join us!”
“Hansen,” Andy answered evenly. He nodded at you, “She ok?”
“Oh, she’s fine. Just on enough horse tranqs to move her across the country without her realizing it. She’ll only be out for another day or so.”
Andy walked over to you. “I’m sure you don’t mind if I check for myself. With the amount of money I’m paying you.” Hansen gestured for him to go ahead, so he placed a gentle hand on the pulse in your neck, pleased to feel that it was strong and steady. He took a step back and opened the untraceable banking app on his phone. He clicked the transfer button, moving an ungodly amount of money from his numbered account in the Caymans to the account Lloyd had given him. “Alright,” he said, “the money’s in your account.”
The other man snapped his fingers and someone appeared out of the shadows, holding a tablet. “And I’m sure you don’t mind,” Hansen said as the new man tapped his screen, “if I check for myself. With the amount of work I’ve done for you.”
They all waited in tense silence for the confirmation of the transfer to come through. Andy couldn’t take his eyes off you, eager to finally get you home. After everything he’d been through, this was what he deserved. The perfect wife, the perfect family, the perfect life. And he was going to do it right this time, taking full control until he had exactly what he wanted. Nothing left to chance. It was costing him a pretty penny, but it was worth it.
The man with the tablet nodded at Hansen, who clapped his hands together. “Alright!” he said. “Let’s get this done. My men will get her settled in your car while we finish up.” Two more men came out from the edge of the room and started to put their hands on you. Andy couldn’t help the growl that came out of him. Hansen laughed. “Don’t worry, Mr. ADA, they won’t hurt your precious new wife. You have my word.”
Andy gave a hesitant nod, as they carried you out of the warehouse, clicking the unlock button on his car fob so that they could get you settled. He didn’t take his eyes off you until you were gone.
Hansen reached down and picked up a thick folder. “Everything you’ll need is in here. Everything for her new identity, all in order, all immaculate. Marriage license. Anything from her old life you might need. Although I’d get what you need from those quickly and then burn them.”
Andy took the folder and briefly paged through it. New birth certificate, social security card, IDs, passport. Everything he’d need to start your new life. He put the folder in his briefcase. “Thank you. Anything else?”
Hansen smirked again. “Eager to get started?” He leered in the direction you’d disappeared. “Can’t say I blame you.”
Andy cleared his throat, not appreciating the way Hansen was talking about what was his. “Yes, I would like to get us both home. Are we done here?”
“Sure sure. You have a good time now,” he smirked.
Andy gave him a curt nod and then exited in the direction Hansen’s men had taken you. There was no sign of them by his car, but you were laid out across the backseat. He opened the door and leaned in to brush a gentle finger across your cheek. He wouldn’t be able to relax until you were secured inside his home. It was so close now.
This wasn’t your room. You’d woken up some time ago (you couldn’t say how long ago exactly. There were no clocks, no windows) in the most comfortable bed you’d ever felt. You thought it might swallow you up, it was so soft. Luxurious. The whole room was that way. Beautiful. Rich. You were dressed in a satin nightgown that wasn’t at all like anything you owned. You tried very hard not to think about the fact that someone must have changed you. The door was locked from the outside, a small keypad right under the doorknob. You tried banging on the door. Yelling for someone. Nothing. A quick exploration of the room hadn’t yielded anything either – the two other doors were also locked, a dresser held only men’s clothing. So you’d spent the last who knows how long just laying in the bed, trying not to panic or cry. You weren’t very successful at either.
The most disturbing thing you’d discovered since you’d woken up here was the set of rings on your left hand. One featured a large diamond, the other was a simpler band filled with comparatively tiny diamonds. The bands were fused together like you remembered your mom’s engagement and wedding rings being. It took a long time to normalize your breathing after that discovery.
Just as you were about to drift asleep again, for want of anything else to do, you heard a few soft beeps, the lock click, and the doorknob move. You leaped up and huddled in the far corner of the room between the wall and the bed, holding a pillow in front of you. There was nothing else in the room to use to defend yourself. Even the lamps were bolted down – you’d checked.
The door slowly opened and a man walked in. He was tall, over 6 feet, and broad. He had dark, soft-looking hair, and a well-kept beard. He wore a gray cotton tee and jeans. If your adrenaline hadn’t been spiking, you would have found him so handsome. But as it was, you pushed yourself further into the corner.
He was carrying a tray, which he set down on one of the nightstands. From your vantage point, you could see a glass of water and a bowl. You weren’t feeling inclined to take anything from this man.
Your eyes cautiously tracked him as he came around to the foot of the bed. “How are you feeling?” he asked, his voice deep but gentle.
You didn’t say anything, just kept watching him. He leveled you with a stern look that sent a chill down your spine. His voice was much more rigid when he said, “I expect an answer when I ask a question, sweetheart.”
You ignored him again, instead asking, “Who are you?”
He took a deep breath, flexing both hands. Extreme irritation passed over his face before it was replaced with a practiced calm. He sat at the foot of the bed and patted the space next to him. “Come sit,” he said. You didn’t move. “Now,” he growled. Something in his tone made it clear, not only that he would move you himself if he had to, but even more so, that you didn’t want it to come to that. You got up and sat on the far edge of the bed. He reached over and grabbed your arm hard, dragging you into his side. You cried out but he shushed you. “Alright,” he said, “I will answer your question once you answer mine. How are you feeling?”
This was the most scared you’d ever been. You had to take a few deep breaths before you were able to say. “I have a headache and I’m a little nauseous. And I’m very scared.”
He gently took your hand in his and cooed at you. “That’d be the drugs they used to knock you out. You’ll feel better when they’re completely out of your system. Eating will help. You can have some soup once we’re done talking.” He paused, for what you didn’t know. You didn’t say anything. He smiled. “You can ask your question now. Good girl waiting for permission.”
Your head swung to look at him. That hadn’t been what you were doing. Had it? You were woozy and scared and just trying to figure out what the fuck was going on. That was most important, so you let his comment go and repeated your question. “Who are you?”
He squeezed your hand. “I’m your husband, sweetheart. My name is Andy.”
That was the answer you’d been terrified of since you’d seen the rings on your finger. He was fucking crazy. He had to be. The best you could do right now was to get as much information out of him as you could. “And where are we? Is this your house?” You were trying to keep your voice steady, but you could hear the tremor in it.
“This is our house, sweetheart. Just outside Boston.”
Your eyes widened and your heart rate picked up in panic. “Boston?? No– That’s– How did I get here?!” This was even worse than you thought. You were nowhere near home, nowhere near anything familiar.
He just looked at you for a moment with narrowed eyes. Then he nodded and said, “Ok, I’m going to be honest and explain it to you, because I think it will help you understand your place here. But in the future, you need to know that I don’t appreciate having to explain myself. Good wives don’t question their husband's actions. Now, since I’m going out of my way to make this clear for you, I expect you to sit quietly and listen. Can you do that for me?”
You clenched your hands into fists, wanting to rage at him for how he was speaking to you like a child, but you knew you needed this information. You needed everything you could get if you were going to get out of here, so you tried to control your breathing and nodded.
He looked at you like he wanted to scold you for something, but then visibly changed his mind and began. “I’ve had a hard life, the last few years especially, I’ve been through a lot. Things haven’t turned out the way they were supposed to. I wanted a family. I thought I had one, but– It wasn’t how it was supposed to be, and then I lost even that. I wanted to try again, but I couldn’t put in all that effort without a guarantee that I wouldn’t wind up with nothing again.
“I’m a lawyer. I used to work as an ADA and now I’m in defense. In both jobs, I’ve made a lot of connections with people from different walks of life. Through that, I found a man who provides a service – if you let him know what you’re looking for, he’ll find you a person who fills those needs. So I told him that I was looking for someone to build a family with, a good wife. He presented me with a few options, and I chose you. For a hefty price, his men picked you up and brought you here. They also put together all new paperwork for you, a whole new identity. The old you doesn’t exist anymore, do you understand? You’re Mrs. Barber now, property of your husband. I bought and paid for you. I own you, every part of you.”
You saw his hand start to move toward your thigh and you jumped up, quickly pressing yourself against the wall. You just stared at him for a moment and then the panic truly hit you, but this time, it was accompanied by blinding anger. “That’s human trafficking, you complete fucking psycho! The fuck is wrong with you?!” Once you’d started screaming, you couldn’t stop. “You can’t just buy a wife, you fucking cuck! I’m a person! People are going to look for me!” He stood up and came at you and you swung out with your fists, your nails, your knees, whatever you fucking could. You connected a few times, drew a grunt from him before he somehow pinned your wrists behind your back. You screamed as loud as you could, but it did nothing.
He frog-marched you out of the room as he said, “I was hoping we wouldn’t have to do this so soon, but you need a timeout, honey. Some time to calm down in the quiet room, and then we can try again and go over the rules. You just need some time to think by yourself.”
You tried to pay attention as he pushed you through what looked like a little apartment: a living room, a kitchenette. He stopped at an innocuous-looking door with a keypad on it, just like the one in the bedroom. He turned you away so you couldn’t see as he entered the code, one hand still keeping your wrists in a bruising grip. Before you’d even realized he’d opened the door, he was shoving you into the room so hard you briefly left the ground. The door slammed shut behind you. You hit the floor hard and groaned. You stumbled up onto your hands and knees. You heard another beep, then the grinding of a lock. Then nothing.
The room was pitch black. You weren’t even sure where the door was now, as there wasn’t any light coming through the cracks. You crawled around, trying to get an idea of the space. It was small and empty as far as you could tell. But there was a low rumbling noise that seemed to fill the room. You couldn’t pinpoint the source just from listening, it felt like it was coming from everywhere. The floor under your hands was bare, concrete. Your hands brushed through cobwebs and other detritus you couldn’t see. You cautiously held a hand out as you continued to try to map out the room, terrified you’d smack your face right into the wall. It made contact with something hot and sharp. You pulled it back with a hiss, pain radiating through your palm. You felt the first few wet drops. Shit. You were bleeding. You’d cut yourself. Fuck. “Hey!” you called out as loud as you could. There was no answer. “Hey!” you tried again, “I’m hurt! I’m bleeding!” No response. “WHAT THE FUCK?” You were screaming now. “YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! LET ME OUT!” Nothing. God, this room was already lightproof, maybe it was soundproof, too. He wouldn’t be able to hear you, wouldn’t know you were hurt. You couldn’t tell how badly you’d cut your hand so you raised it above your head, hoping that might at least slow down the bleeding. It was dirty you were sure. God, how long did it take for cuts to get infected? You hoped you wouldn’t find out. You didn’t even know what you’d cut it on. What if it was rusty? Shit, when was your last tetanus booster? You couldn’t remember exactly. Fuck. You really didn’t want to die from tetanus in some random basement in Massachusetts. A tear rolled down your cheek. He couldn’t leave you in here too long, could he? No. He would come get you soon.
You had no idea how long you’d been sitting in the dark, your knees pulled up to your chest, one arm wrapped around them, the other still held in the air. Your shoulder was so sore, but you were too worried to lower your hand. You wished you could see the cut, know exactly how bad it was. You wished you knew how much time had passed. With no frame of reference, no external indicators, you were afraid you’d lost the ability to tell the difference between hours and minutes. It’d been hours. It had to have been hours. How long was he going to leave you here? He had to come back soon. He had to. You took some perverse comfort in the fact that he’d spent a lot of money on you. That had to mean that he wouldn’t just leave you here. He’d want a return on his investment. You tried to ignore the chills that thought gave you.
You’d been crying on and off. It made you feel pathetic but what else were you supposed to do? The panic, too, ebbed and flowed. You’d been trying to keep your breathing even, trying to ignore how small the space was, how dirty, how dark. Deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. It wasn’t doing much to calm you, but at least it gave you something to focus on.
Just as a fresh wave of tears overtook you, a blinding light came in, directly opposite you. You squinted and raised your uninjured hand in front of your eyes, but that didn’t do much to help.
“Oh sweetheart,” Andy’s voice cooed, before gently lifting you by your arms and herding you out. He half-carried you through the finished part of the basement while your eyes continued to adjust. Before you knew it, you were back in the bedroom you’d started in. He gently sat you down on the edge of the bed and crouched in front of you. You felt dazed. The room was too bright. You didn’t know how you could keep breaking the record for the most scared you’d ever been. There had to be a ceiling, a limit. You’d hit it soon, wouldn’t you?
You still had your hand raised and cradled to your chest. Andy touched your wrist and you flinched. He raised an eyebrow in question and you whispered, “I got hurt.” He sighed and gently tugged at your wrist again. This time you let him guide your arm down, moving your hand so you both could see it. It was a little grimy and definitely red, slightly swollen maybe. There was a little dried blood, but not much. The cut was so much more shallow than you’d imagined when you were trapped in that room alone. You felt incredibly foolish. You’d thought you were going to lose your hand over a glorified paper cut.
Andy carefully moved his thumb over a raised patch under the cut that you now realized was a minor burn. “Did you touch the furnace?” The furnace – that’s what’d been making that noise. That’s what you’d cut yourself on. That’s where he’d thrown you. What the fuck? You were lucky you hadn’t hurt yourself even worse. You looked up from your hand to see him frowning at you. “Why would you do that? Sweetheart, you have to be more careful. That was a very stupid thing to do.” He got up and walked into the ensuite, opening a cabinet under the sink.
Was he seriously scolding you for getting hurt in a dangerous room he’d locked you in?? The rage from earlier was starting to return, but it was still tempered by your fear. You did your best to keep your voice even when you replied, “It was completely dark in there. I couldn’t see anything.” A little growl came through your words, but it wasn’t anything compared to what you were actually feeling.
He came back holding a small first-aid kit. “Well then that’s a good reason to keep your hands to yourself, isn’t it?” He sat down and opened the kit, pulling out a few wipes and beginning to somewhat roughly clean your hand. “Sweetheart, I’m here to take care of you. That’s my job as your husband. But I need you to be a good girl and not put yourself in harm’s way.”
“You threw me in there!” you said, your voice starting to get louder, despite your best efforts to keep calm.
“Because you were bad and needed a time-out!” he yelled back at you. He threw the dirty wipes into the trashcan beside the bed and took a deep breath, visibly calming himself. He grabbed an ointment from the kit and began applying it to your hand. “That’s why we’re going to talk about rules now. They’re there to keep you safe and both of us happy. When you don’t follow them, something like this can happen.”
You didn’t say anything. You had to be smart if you were ever going to get out of here and antagonizing him wasn’t smart. He didn’t seem to expect a response anyway as he just silently placed a bandage on your hand and then got up and put the kit away. He came back and sat right next to you, turning so he could look into your eyes. You tried to turn your head away, but he grabbed your chin and forced eye contact.
“Alright,” he said, his tone already so fucking patronizing. “A good thing that came out of your little tantrum is that now we know the areas we need to focus on most for improvement – manners, respect, and attitude. I did some thinking during your quiet time too, and I’ve adjusted your training schedule to focus on these things. It’ll be good for both of us.”
What the actual fucking fuck? “Training schedule?” was all you managed to get out.
Andy nodded. “I’m sure you’ve figured out that we’re in the basement right now. I have a beautiful big house upstairs that I can’t wait to show you. But you’re going to have to earn it first, prove to me that you know how to be good, that I can trust you before we can go upstairs. That’s what the training will do. I’m going to teach you exactly how to be perfect for me, everything I want, and in return I’m going to give you a perfect life, so much better than what you had before. We’re going to be so happy together, sweetheart. I promise.
“Now, it’s going to take time. I understand that. And I’m going to be patient with you. I know what your life was like before. I know that you probably never expected that you’d ever get to have this. Change can be scary. Dreams coming true, it’s scary. But I’ll be here to guide you through it all. I’m going to give you everything and all I ask of you in return is that you be good for me. That’s all.”
You wanted to scream. You wanted to sob. What the hell was this? How could this man, this stranger, be so completely deranged? Be smart, you chanted to yourself. Be smart be smart be smart. And if you opened your mouth now, you knew exactly what would come out. So you kept it shut and let him continue.
“So first, let’s talk about your tantrum. I don’t appreciate being spoken to that way. The language and the names, it’s unacceptable. So, no swearing going forward. And I think a good rule for you while we’re downstairs will be for you to address me as Sir. Once we’ve moved upstairs, you’ll be allowed to call me Andy, but whenever we’re down here, it’s Sir. Do you understand?” He looked at you expectantly. You clenched your jaw and nodded. “I expect a verbal response when I speak to you, sweetheart.”
“Yes,” you gritted out. He raised an eyebrow at you and his gaze hardened. It took you a moment to realize your mistake. “Yes, sir,” you corrected yourself.
“Very good. As your husband, I expect you to give me the respect I deserve. That’s something we’ll work on. It’s very important that you don’t question me. I know what’s best for you and you need to trust that I will give you whatever information you need to have. If I haven’t told you something, it’s because you don’t need to know, ok?”
He paused again. What kind of Stepford hell was this? What had you done to deserve this? You took a deep breath. Then another. And another. Then, finally, you were able to force out a “Yes, sir.”
He smiled. “You’re so smart, sweetheart. You’ll be upstairs in no time. Now, you’ll start learning your routine tomorrow. I’ve taken some time off work for our honeymoon, so I’ll have plenty of time to get you settled and acclimated. We’ll go over wardrobe and makeup requirements in the morning too. Now,” he slapped his thighs and stood up, “your soup from earlier went cold, so how about I go get you a fresh bowl while you take a quick shower and get all that dust and grime from the Quiet Room off you?”
You held back a grimace at him calling that room that, as he walked over to one of the other doors and unlocked it. He talked to you like you were a child. All of this was so fucked up. But a shower sounded incredible. You had no idea how long it’d been since you’d had one. So you just nodded and let out a quiet, “Yes, sir.”
He beamed at you. “Everything you’ll need is in the bathroom. I’ll be back in just a few minutes.”
You stood and waited til he was out the door, listening to the beeps and grinding locks once he was gone. Shit. You were really fucked. You went into the bathroom and closed the door behind you. There was no lock on the inside. Of course, there wasn’t.
You didn’t waste much time in the bathroom, desperate for a hot shower. You vaguely registered that the counter was stocked with all sorts of beauty aids – expensive lotions and serums like he’d bought out a department store beauty counter. The shower too, was equally well stocked. So much fancier than the Target sale items you usually stocked your bathroom with. But the shower felt incredible and that’s what you chose to focus on.
When you were finished, you came out of the shower to see that the bathroom door was open. You could hear Andy moving around in the bedroom. You shuddered and quickly wrapped a plush towel around yourself. There was a fresh nightgown waiting for you, soft pink, all silk and lace. You grimaced and wondered what you’d need to do to get a pair of sleep shorts and an old T-shirt to sleep in. Probably more than you were willing to do, if it was even possible. You dried off quickly and slipped the nightgown on.
When you exited the bathroom, he was sitting on the bed, the tray of food sitting next to him. There was a bowl of soup and a cup of water, along with a small plate with a few crackers. The dishes and utensils were all plastic. Nothing you could hurt him with. You sat down and watched him carefully as you lifted the tray onto your lap. He didn’t say anything so it must have been allowed. Your hand shook as you brought the first spoonful up to your lips. The soup was warm, not hot, certainly not scalding. Another hope dashed. Throwing it at him would only result in him getting wet. And angry. Not worth it.
As you ate, you realized just how hungry you actually were. The nausea from whatever drugs you’d had had covered it up, but you were starving. You barely even tasted the soup, you just needed to eat. God, how long had it been since you’d had food? You wouldn’t bother asking Andy. You knew he wouldn’t give you an answer.
After he watched you eat for a few minutes, he said, “What do you say, sweetheart?”
God, he used that word like it was your name. It made you want to scream. You swallowed down all your anger and a spoonful of soup before you said, “Thank you, sir.”
He gave you a satisfied smile. “See,” he said, “I knew you had good manners.”
You shoved the spoon into your mouth to prevent any sort of comeback. This fucking asshole. Luckily he let you eat the rest of your meal in peace. But he never took his eyes off you.
Once you were done, Andy put the tray on the dresser and then declared it bedtime. You watched him cautiously, as he went to the dresser and took out a pair of boxers and a cotton tee. He changed right in the middle of the room and you turned your head away. You caught flashes of skin, that if he’d been anyone else, in any other circumstances, would have had you drooling. It was becoming hard to breathe again. What else would he demand from you tonight?
You chanced a glance back up at him to find him changed and staring at you. You swallowed nervously. “Come here,” he said firmly, holding his hand out to you. You slowly, so slowly, made your way to him. As soon as you were in reach, he grabbed your elbow and pulled you the rest of the way in so that you were nestled into his chest. “I know,” he said, stroking one hand down your back, “that we’re both thinking about our first time together, but I’d like to wait.” He ran the fingers of his other hand down the strap of your nightgown, slipping onto your bare skin. “Give you a chance to get fully adjusted. Give us both a chance to get to know each other.” His voice slipped down an octave as his fingers traveled across your chest. Your body bowed to get away from him, but he didn’t seem to notice or care. “Give us a chance to enjoy each other.” His breath hitched as his hand traveled down to your breast, the other hand on your back had stilled, holding you close, stopping you from getting away. He moved his head as close as he could to yours and whispered, “I want it to be special.” Then, before you could try to back away, he was kissing you. It was firm and demanding, giving you no option but to let it happen. He angled his growing erection into your thigh, and with the way he was holding you, you couldn’t lean away from it. His tongue forced its way into your mouth and you couldn’t help the way you whimpered. It felt like it might go on forever, when he finally pulled back, resting his forehead against yours. “I’m so happy you’re mine,” he whispered.
And then he was out of your space, leaving you trying to breathe again, alone in the middle of the room, as he climbed into the bed. You just stood there, unsure of what to do, your lips still tingling. Once he was settled on the side of the bed closest to the door, he called your name. “Come to bed now,” he said, and there was no mistaking it for anything other than an order. You ducked your head and climbed onto the bed, terrified of what might come next, but also desperate for sleep. This day had left you exhausted and confused and scared and so angry. It was all too much.
You tried to lie down as close to the edge as you could, but he pulled you in close so that your back was flush to his front, his arm thrown over your waist. “I'm so proud of you,” he whispered into your hair, “getting through your first day without having to go to the punishment room.”
Your mouth went completely dry. A room you hadn’t been to. Somewhere worse than the quiet room. “What's–” your tongue struggled to form the words. You took a breath and tried again. “What's the punishment room?” You caught yourself at the last minute and added a quiet “Sir.”
His hand caressed your side. “You keep being my good girl and you won't have to find out.”

delulu fan fantasy, not even my delulu.. just looking over bad omens photos and home country thoughts lol
Any name, any description lol but the boys never guy koala shots when they were in Australia last time.. soo so a scenario where they return an it involves some sort of trip to an animal rescue of some kind? OR some thing... and Noah having to lean down so the handler can help him DE-CLING the koala from his arms and shoulder, their claws can get you, the guys all joking about his new girlfriend maybe... but he'd rather the handler... -- up to you if you go on to make it smutty after the cute meet, maybe invite for drinks.. OR just an intense flirt... but...
Yep... koala flirting delulu lol, sorry, for, the ramble.
Fully understand if this is a no can do, I know specific place requests can be difficult, but I thought there was no harm in asking, thank you for reading just the same.
The amount of research I just did on Koalas is wild 🤣 I’m hoping this does your ask some justice!
After Writing Notes: This was cute, and fun to write. It's shorter than some of my others, and truly just fluffy, early stages, flirtations. I enjoyed this! I hope you do too!
Rating: Mature (language)
Warnings: Nuffin but good ol' fashioned fluff.
Please Please Please
“Now, let’s see if the little man likes you or not, shall we?”
Mira, our veteran Koala, who was used to our regular visitation schedule was lazily clung to my shirt, as she was most days. Her jaws crunched on a Eucalyptus leaf, not minding all of the sweet attention she was getting. The bright-eyed boy standing in front of me beamed at her, but I could tell he was nervous.
“Alright, now we’re going to just gently place her on your chest, and if she likes you, she’ll cling!” I carefully handed Mira over to the boy, no older than twelve, who shakily held her up. Mira’s claws grabbed onto his shirt, and she tucked her head into his neck lovingly.
She truly was a great performer.
“Oh my God, she’s holding me!” He exclaimed, excited, but still hushed as not to startle her.
“Look at that, mate! She’s very loving, isn’t she?” I held up another leaf in front of her, one of her small hands latching on and holding it up to her mouth.
The mother of the young boy looked absolutely horrified. “How long does he hold her for?”
“Ah, just a minute or two. I’ve got a few other folks waiting to get to say hello.” I stuffed my hands in my pants pockets, smiling while watching Mira tickle the young man’s neck with her ear hairs.
“Are all Koalas this friendly?” He asked as his hand gently stroked the plush hair on her back.
“Actually, no. Koalas can be quite territorial, especially around their young. They bite and scratch just like any other beast you’d come across.” I could see his mom beginning to sweat. “Mira here is very accustomed to human beings. She’s one of our rehabilitated patients who was not eligible for release.”
“Why not?” The worrisome woman eyed me.
“Poor thing got caught in the wildfires a few years ago, and she’s almost completely blind now due to the smoke. She’d never survive in the wild.” I placed a hand on her head, smiling sweetly at her. “So, instead, she’s our designated education Koala!”
The boy smiled, and moved toward me to begin removing her from his chest. “I think she’s amazing.”
“That, she is.” I graciously took my girl, and turned to place her back on her tree. I could tell she was in need of a bit of a break.
Noticing more patrons had not arrived quite yet for their experiences, I closed the door behind my guests of the enclosure, and set up a ‘Be Back in 30’ sign.
Once in the break room, I sat at the table, running fingers through my hair that was tangled where it ended on the back of my neck. Kylie, who had been working the python exhibit all morning, came bounding in, sitting next to me heavily.
“Eh, Charlie. You alright?”
I was chewing the end of a peanut butter sandwich and zoning out, trying not to let my mind wander too far.
“Good here. You?”
She smiled empathetically. “That’s not convincing, babe. Still thinking about him?”
Shrugging hard, I set my sandwich back down and put my face in my palms. “Why would he ghost me?” I sighed, feeling defeated. “I really thought we were getting on, ya know?”
Placing a hand on my back, she smiled sweetly at me. “I’m sure you were! Some guys are just fucking useless! He probably did you a favor, really.”
I laid my chin down on my hands on the table. “Maybe. It still blows. I feel like dating is just pointless these days.”
Kylie laughed at that. “Nah, not true.” Sitting back in her chair, she reached to interlock her hands behind her head. “Remember that Roy guy I went out with a few weeks back?” I just nodded. “Best lay I’ve had, hands down.”
My eyes blew out wide before my stomach began rolling with laughter. She joined me, clapping a hand on my shoulder.
“Don’t give up on dating, babe. There’s a guy out there for you.”
I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, not likely.”
-
The day was passing so slow, it almost made my eyes roll back. By the time my watch told me it was close to the end, only half hour till, I was exhausted. So was Mira. My eyes scanned the passers by, wondering how many I’d be able to fit in before the end of the day, as I saw a group of guys reading the information plaque on the glass just outside.
One of the guys, a lanky boy with tattoos shadowing the length of his arms, was the only one of them looking into the exhibit, instead of at the description. If I hadn’t known better, I’d say he was looking at me.
That couldn’t be right, though. I was holding Mira, so he was probably looking at her.
“Excuse me?” One of them had broken off from the pack and stepped inside the door. “It says on there to come in to see the Koalas?”
He was a shorter gentleman with long, black hair tied back in a bun on the back of his head. I noticed his accent, and internally groaned. Americans.
“Yeah!” I smiled at him brightly. “Come on in!”
He motioned for his friends, the other three trailing behind. The last one to come in was the tall guy with hair only slightly shorter than mine. His eyes wandered around the trees and the pond behind me.
“Oh my gosh!” The shortest one was grinning ear to ear, staring directly at Mira. “They’re so cute!”
I looked down at the gray baby on my chest, and pet her lovingly. “They are. They’re my favorite creatures here at the preserve.”
“Do they bite?” A taller man, who had a slightly different accent that I couldn’t place, asked.
“They sure can.” I nodded, and waved a hand. “But Mira here never has. She’s an absolute gem.”
Looking between them all, I noticed they were all wearing various band t-shirts, with the exception of our large friend, who only wore a black beater. He stood the most reserved, hands in his pockets.
“Anyone want to hold her?”
“Serious?!” The shortest bloke perked up first, stepping toward me cautiously. “Can I, please?”
I chuckled. “Of course! I’ll hand her to you,” I began peeling Mira from me. “and if she latches, she likes you!”
Almost vibrating with excitement, the man took her gently, and Mira wrapped her short arms around his neck, seeming to take to him exceptionally.
“Excellent!” I clapped. “You’re a natural!”
He smiled brightly at his friends. “Check it out, guys!” They all took turns looking at Mira up close, a couple reaching out to touch her head.
“You want a photo?” I asked and the tallest one nodded, slipping a cell out of his pocket and handing it to me.
The four boys posed, all smiling and wrapping arms around each other.
“Alright, one…two…three.” I snapped a picture, but noticed a couple of them blinking. I pursed my lips. “Let me get a few, alright?”
They nodded and held their spots. As I was preparing to snap another, I saw a look of panic flash over the boy holding Mira.
“She’s letting go! I don’t want to drop her!”
“Oh!” Instinctively, I slipped the mobile into my vest pocket and reached out to grab Mira.
For whatever reason, she had become startled, and wanted out of the grip. It had been a long day, and she was likely over all of the attention. When I pulled her from the guy’s arms, her nails scratched across the side of his neck.
“Ouch!” He exclaimed, holding a hand up. All of his friends were looking at him.
“I’m so sorry about that, mate! It’s been quite the day for our girl here.” He moved his hand and was bleeding ever so slightly.
Seemingly rebounded, he shook his head and grinned at me. “No, I totally get it. I appreciate her letting me hold her at all.”
I set Mira on her tree, plucking her a leaf and handing it to her before turning back to the bunch. “There’s a med room on your way out the exit. They can give you a swab to clean that with.” I smiled apologetically at them.
“Thanks again…Charlie?” The boy checked my name tag. I nodded. He stuck his hand out for me to shake. “I’m Nick.”
I nodded. “Pleasure to meet you guys.”
They filed out one by one, giving small waves. The tall boy’s eyes carried mine just a little longer than the rest, and it gave me a warm feeling in my stomach.
What a cutie.
-
“So how’d the rest of the day go, Char?”
Unpinning my tag and putting it in my locker, I nodded before sitting down to slip my runners off.
“Not terrible. Mira scratched someone, though.”
She frowned. “Oh no. Are they alright?”
Sighing, I began unbuttoning my vest. “Yeah, he was just happy to get to see her. Group of American guys.”
When I shrugged off my best, I noticed it felt heavy, which was odd. Slipping my fingers in the pockets, I felt the flat, cool screen, and let my head fall back.
“Fuck.”
“What’s that?” Kylie had turned her head to look at me.
“I snatched one of their phones on accident. Shit.”
She giggled. “Well, damn. Did you catch his name?”
I shook my head. “No. Just his friend who got hurt, and not even a last name.”
“Mm, better put it in lost and found then.”
I stood, reaching to set down the phone. Before I could, it began vibrating in my hand, and I turned it over. The face of the boy I had interacted with earlier popped on the screen with the name ‘Folio’ on it.
I bit my lip, and Kylie noticed. “Going to answer it?”
“Should I?”
She just gestured toward me in a ‘duh’ fashion.
I swiped open the call, and put it up to my ear.
“Hello?”
“So, you have my phone.” A smooth, baritone voice came through the speaker.
I smiled, sitting on the bench behind me. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t even think about it.”
There was a soft chuckle on the other end. “No problem. Can I come get it?”
I looked up at Kylie, who was watching me expectedly. “Well, the preserve is closed for the night. I can leave it at the lost and found and you can grab it in the morning?”
“Hmm,” I heard him thinking. “I kind of can’t wait that long to get it back. Plus, I fly out in the morning.”
“Ah,” I sighed. “well, are you staying nearby? I can probably drop it off on my way home.”
“Well, the guys and I are going to Faldry’s for dinner. Could you meet me there?”
“Sure, that’s on my way.”
I heard a sigh of relief. “I really appreciate it, uh,” There was a beat of silence. “what was your name, again?”
I smiled. “Charlie.”
“That’s right.” I swore I could hear a smile in his voice. “I’m Noah.”
“Alright Noah, I can be there in half?”
“Sure, I’ll be there.”
-
The drive to the restaurant was quick, and for some reason, I felt nervous? I guess that made sense, given it was embarrassing that I managed to take this random stranger’s phone without even trying. I had a great gift for being an absolute moron. The parking lot was relatively full, so I pulled into a space toward the back. Unsure of how to let him know how I was here, I walked into the building, taking a breath and glancing around the room for the person I was trying to find.
The host approached the stand, flashing his teeth at me. "Evening. Do you have a reservation?"
Gripping the strap of my bag, I let my face fall. "Uh, no," My head whipped around more, still no luck in finding the party. "I'm here to see someone?"
He nodded tapping his computer screen. "Name?"
I closed my eyes, realizing I didn't know his surname. "Noah..." My stare pleaded with him. "He's uh, tall? Dark hair? Tattooed?"
He stared at me, clearly not following.
"He's American? With a group?"
This seemed to spark his memory, a flash of recognition crossing his features.
"Ah, I know who you mean. They're toward the back, table sixteen."
Smiling apologetically, I moved around the booth toward the other side of the dining room. Once I rounded the corner around the bar, I could see the table, more people than I recognized sitting around it.
Noah was sat, ball cap on his head, laughing at something with everyone else at the table. My chest stuttered for a moment. Now, instead of a casual tank top, he wore a plain white t-shirt. His hair peaked out from under his hat. Most noticeable was his smile, so bright and stunning. I hadn't had the chance to catch that earlier...
I gripped the phone in my hand, and swallowed before making my way over to the table. The boy I had spoken with earlier in the day - Nick - noticed me first.
"Hey!" All eyes lifted to me, and I felt more nervous than I had previously.
I gave a small wave, tucking some of my hair behind my ear. "Hello, everyone."
Noah stood, walking around the table. I handed him the phone, and he smirked at me. "Thank you so much for bringing this. I can't tell you how screwed I would've been if you hadn't."
I nodded, feeling so small stood next to him. "Of course. It was my fault, anyway."
His hand dismissed me. "It happens."
A strange, awkward silence fell over us, so I turned to the rest of the group, giving a timid grin. "Well, I'll be off, then."
"Wait," I felt fingers grab my forearm, gently pulling my attention. I looked up at Noah again, his face soft. "can I maybe," He glanced back at his friends for...something? Approval, maybe? "buy you a drink or something?"
I was caught off guard, and my face must've shown it, because his hand fell from my arm.
"Oh, uh," My eyes bounced off of the other faces at the table, who were still mostly looking right at me. "I shouldn't. I don't want to intrude."
He shook his head. "You're not! I want to do something to thank you for this." He held his phone up for reference.
I smiled, finding it exceptionally difficult to turn him down. "I mean, I suppose I could go for a cold one."
Something pulled the corners of his lips up at me.
"Great!" He turned back to his mates. "I'll be back?"
They all nodded, Nick giving him a brotherly slap on the arm. He lead me over to the bar, and pulled a stool out for me before taking the one to my right.
The bartender took our order, both of us settling on some ale before he turned his face to look at me.
"So," The drinks were placed in front of us, and I took a pull from my pint. "you like animals, huh?"
This made me laugh. What a generic conversation starter. He didn't have a lot to go on, and it was funny.
"I do. Always have."
He took a drink, and set his glass down hard on the bar. "That's really cool."
He was trying, but that topic could only get us so far.
"Do you?" I decided to venture.
"As much as the next person, I guess? I have a dog at home."
I smiled, wiping my upper lip on the napkin under my glass. "Back in the States?"
He nodded. "In California."
"Ah, what's that like?"
"You've never been over there?"
I shook my head, swallowing my beer. "Never been across the pond. Only time I left Straya was when my family would go to New Zealand on vacation. It's been a long time, though."
"New Zealand? Wow, that sounds amazing."
"It really is. It's beautiful there. And safe."
He took a big gulp of his beer, and began folding his own napkin over itself. "Well, California isn't." He said with a laugh.
I quirked an eyebrow. "I've heard." I turned my body to look at him better, studying the tattoos on his skin. "So what brings you here?"
He smiled to himself then, chewing on his thumbnail. "We had a concert."
"A concert? You flew all this way to see a band?"
He finished his drink, and signaled to the barkeep for another. "We are the band."
This made me pause. That made sense, now didn't it?
"Oh. Very nice!" The bartender brought us two fresh drinks. "What kind of music?"
"Rock music. Metal-ish?"
"What do you call yourselves?"
He smirked, staring at me from his peripherals. "Bad Omens."
"Hmm," I took a drink of my fresh beer. "that's interesting."
He snickered. "Interesting? How do you mean?"
"Sounds kind of dark."
"That's the point, honestly."
I traced the rim of the glass with my index finger, looking at him as he spoke. His lips were so pretty. And his eyes were so dark that they were almost enticing.
"I see." I finally looked away from him, down at the bubbles in my drink. "So, how do you like it here?"
He leaned forward, pressing his elbows onto the bar. "It's not my first time. It's been a while, though. I like it."
"But...?" I could tell he wasn't sold.
His cheeks tinted. "It's really hot. And the spiders are fucking crazy."
This caused a deep belly laugh to pull out of me. "That's too funny."
"Why is that funny?" He cackled with me, and I wiped a tear from my eyes.
"Ah, I don't know. A big tough guy like you being afraid of spiders? It's just funny."
He looked at me curiously. "Hey, I'm not afraid of them. I just prefer not to find giant ones in my hotel bathroom."
This only made me laugh harder, and his elbow bumped my arm playfully.
"You've got a good laugh."
This brought me back to Earth for a second, now feeling self-conscious. I contained my giggles and looked back at him.
"What?"
His smirk was silly when he brought his glass to his lips. "I like your laugh."
I shook my head. "Thank you?"
He giggled into his cup. "You're welcome."
We sat this way for a while. He continued to drink beer, but I ordered a soda after my second drink. Continuing to laugh about various different subjects, and telling stories, we then noticed the restaurant beginning to thin.
"Well then, we've been here a while, haven't we?" I mentioned as I glanced around.
"Yeah, I guess so." His eyes were sparkling when they looked at me, which made something in my stomach flip. "I've had a good time talking to you."
Returning the sentiment, I leaned against his arm. "Me too."
His mouth pouted for a second. "I'm pretty bummed I'm leaving tomorrow, or I'd offer to take you on an actual date."
This made me nearly choke on the Cola I was sucking through my straw.
"Oh yeah?" Was all I could manage.
"Well, sure. Why not?"
I raised a brow at him. "Rockstar like yourself? You've got to have a lady at home waiting, don't you?"
He huffed out a sigh, staring down at his hands. "Nah, not lately."
Chewing on my lip, I shrugged. "Then I guess," I leaned in so he could hear me clearly. "it is a shame you have to leave tomorrow."
I could feel his breath on my face, and his brow furrowed, studying me.
"I'll just have to come back soon, huh?"
Smiling, I let my stare fall on his lips. "I guess you will."
His face came closer to mine, the proximity making the air thick. I could smell the alcohol on his breath, and his nose brushed against mine. Letting my eyes fall closed, I waited for him to close the gap.
"Can I walk you to your car?"
My eyes snapped open, noticing he hadn't moved, but also hadn't moved.
A shred of disappointment filled me, but I pulled back, gathering my thoughts.
"Uh," I shouldered my purse, a bewildered look on my face. "sure."
I slipped off of the barstool, and walked past him, noticing his palm finding the small of my back to guide me toward the door.
Once outside, the crisp summer evening bit at my skin. I pulled the sleeves of my sweatshirt over my hands as we walked to my car, far in the back of the, now mostly empty, parking lot.
I turned around once I had reached the driver's door, intending to bid him a good night and a safe flight home, but - for the second time - was caught off guard.
His chest pressed against mine, pinning me against the side of my car, and his lips crashed into mine. He was gentle, but still forceful enough to make my knees goes weak.
His hands held the roof of my car on either side of my head, and my eyes rolled back as I molded into him, my hands reaching up to grasp the sides of his neck. He breathed into me, sparking something hot in my chest, and made me press my body closer against his.
One of his arms circled around my waist, lifting me up on my tip-toes to reach his face easier. Our lips fought for leverage, tongues swiping over each other. My brain was buzzing with the intensity of it.
When he finally pulled away from me, bringing me back down on the ground, I was breathing heavily, and staring up at him hungrily. He smiled, a sheen of moisture on his swollen bottom lip.
"Thank you, Charlie, for a great evening."
My pupils were dilated wide, and my hands were gripping his shirt, still.
"Thank you for the drinks, Noah."
Letting him go, my hands falling loose at my sides, he took a step back, looking down at the ground where he kicked at the asphalt.
"Could I, maybe..." He was hesitating, which was funny, given he was so confident not a moment before. "Can we exchange numbers?"
My eyebrows shot up at the absurdity of it. He lived thousands of miles away.
"You're serious?"
He just looked at me, pleading. "I am."
I scoffed, holding a hand out. "Let me see your cell."
This brought a grin to his face, his hand slipping his phone out of his pocket. "You're going to give it back this time?"
I rolled my eyes playfully. "Maybe."
He unlocked the screen, and I opened a new contact. Quickly adding myself, I handed it back to him. He looked over the screen, and nodded, satisfied.
He huffed out a sigh, and then held his arms open. I pulled into them, the abnormally long limbs wrapping around me easily.
"Be safe getting home?"
He nodded when he pulled away. "Of course."
I could see his regard, trying to decide if he should. Deciding for him, I careened up as tall as I could, and placed one last soft kiss on his lips.
"Goodnight, Noah."
I opened my door, and sat down in the driver's seat.
"Goodnight, Charlie."
The entire drive home, all I could see in my mind's eye was deep brown eyes and tattoos. Long fingers and even longer arms. Short, straight black hair. An annoyingly adorable smile.
What were the odds? I finally meet a guy, and I will likely will never see him again...
I pulled into my drive, leaning my head against the steering wheel. I'm just so lucky.
My phone lit up in my console, and I grabbed it hastily. The unknown number flashed on my screen.
Noah: Hey beautiful. ;)

Man, it’s crazy how a setting can make such a difference with things. Like, if I get 1.5 hours of sleep at home I’d be insanely exhausted and miserable. But if I can squeeze 1.5 hours of sleep at the squad I’m like “WHOA I got SO much sleep! :D I’m ready for a new day! It’s six in the morning! The sun is shining! Let’s go workout, walk in the park, go downtown for a coffee and chill—”
#random rambles#But actually#I have so much energy for the day after a squad shift lol#Maybe it’s just relief that I’m off duty now 🤣#I usually average around 3 hours of sleep on duty and then I’m like “SWEET LET’S GO”#Reason 1223 that I prefer squad duty over nursing shifts lol

Does our favorite floofy-haired silly have a ship or are they just focused on their platonic soulmates Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, and Tweedle Dumber (Ace, Deuce, and Grim - who is who? You decide! 🤣)?
HI HI YES yuusha and jamil, my baby idiots, i cant separate them ever 😔💖
also,,, i finally have an excuse to share this silly shitpost i had from a while ago that i didn't know when to post ---
(this is a joke) (and im pretty sure this joke has been said and done before LMAO)
okay so to actually answer your question: as of now, the main "ship" yuuna has is with tweedle dee (ace), tweedle dum (deuce), and tweedle dumber (grim) as their platonic soulmates 😤💖
when yuuna was my only yuu oc, i used to ship them with riddle (unrequited -> platonic) and leona (platonic)
and jamil (romantic) but shhhh that's some old and forbidden lore (lowkey i was insane for all that)
although i'm kinda thinking about bringing back that unrequited-crush-from-riddle plotline ---
(im going to have a short-ish ramble about it below if anyone is interested hfjdsajfklds)
i'm so mean to riddle aaagh bc i thought it’d be interesting if i had riddle have an unrequited crush on yuuna :,D
bc i like the idea of riddle being like "hey i insulted you and was Not A Good Person and Almost Killed You, but for some reason you're still willing to be kind to me and be friends with me" to yuuna
cue attempts at "courting" yuuna -- with riddle reading books, looking up stuff, asking for advice, etc.
he invites yuuna on a "date" without it being explicitly stated that it's a date; yuuna just thinks they're hanging out
come the confession and yuuna is just like "oh :D?" "i'm sorry i only see you as a friend"
but it’s okay they both get over it and they see each other as genuine friends now :]
anyways have some old art of them :3
also also i’m still debating on whether or not i want ace be another unfortunate unrequited crush
bc there's like a scenario i imagined where riddle sees ace making the same look he was making towards yuuna when he had a crush on them and then ace denying it
(this thought process is all inspired by the ghost bride event bc ACE IN THAT EVENT OMGGG)
sigh
i dont talk about ace much either but honestly i have a soft spot for him too 🥺
like the way he cares So Much (in his own being-a-little-shit way) and is just overall really genuine and protective of his friends
ahgklsjfldjsl
alright i'll end it here --
#what is with me and having friendzone plotlines#help me#hnghghd honestly if a trope works for me that i never get sick of it im just going to milk it for what's it worth bc that's the fun of it#anyways thank you for this ask!! i had fun answering 💖💖💖#[—✦ chatting#-✧ oc rambles#-✧ my art#ace trappola#riddle rosehearts#(💝) yuuna#(💝) heartshackle pie#(💝) strawberry fondue#-✦—]#(also I AM SO SORRY i'm still hoarding your bunnyuu ask from a few months ago im not sure if you still even remember 🤧)#(i actually have a comic for em that i finally am almost finished with so stay tuned 😤)

Gooooood morning Cass!!! My brain is against me and is making me wake up at 10 when I’d much rather be up earlier tbh🥺. Oh well I am awake now!
My family uses truvia as sweetener so I’ve never had it with sugar before, but it definitely needs some sweetness in my opinion haha. I think I use the equivalent of like, 2 tsps?? Maybe 3?? In all my cups of tea lmao, I like my tea extra sweet tho. I haven’t tried it with honey, cause I don’t like it very much in my hot drinks… or by itself😭. I want to like honey, like you look at me irl and your like ‘oh this person loves honey’ but I do not.😔 (I haven’t had coffee yet sorry for the random rambles lmao)
I have not heard of yellow deli? There’s one it seems a few hours from where I’m at tho🤔 weeirdd haha.
Good luck with your interview!!!!!!✨🖤🎉
Teach me your tea magic ✨ oh my god please 😭🙏🏼
Also I love youuuuu
🖤 @a-little-lynx
I drink this one!! One cup a day, at least for one week before your period starts, or you can drink it every day. (Link to Amazon. But I think you can get it in stores at Whole Foods?)
It tastes best iced, in my opinion. It has to steep for like 10 minutes, so it’s a very strong taste. But yeah, this is the one I drink, it works really well for me, but there are other brands out there too, I know yogi has a raspberry leaf tea cause I saw it when I looked for this one lol.
I love you toooo, I hope you can find something that will help, even if this doesn’t end up helping you. Those things that ‘simulate’ period cramps are actually things that can help make them better when cramps are happening I hear?? What is it a tens machine?? I’ve looked into those before but they are pricey.
#I listened to Dead Man’s Party while replying thoughts: hmmm interesting??#idk how to feel about ska tbh cause it’s almost like….. like what’s the word I’m looking for here this is why this reply is gonna be So Late#like…. idk like Bug Bad Voodoo Daddy is jazz swing but it’s got that sound to it you only get in the south??#big not bug…#like it had the same vibes but Bright instead of Gritty and I feel like I need the grit hahaha#but I did like the vibes!!#felt very. scooby doo live action lmao#I feel like I give off the vibes of someone who was obsessed with those movies as a kid which is good cause I was#or like a good chase scene in a Batman cartoon.#like I feel like Ska is good and has its place but I don’t know if I’m ever in the mood to just listen to ska haha#it also reminds me of the dream daddy game 🤣 cause the character you play as loves ska#also the above is not a bad thing I love the live action scooby doo movies so much.#I’ve been thinking about rewatching them actually. like I was thinking that yesterday haha#they have like late summer early still hot fall spooky vibes?? I should do it I’ll see if I still have my DVDs lmao#this got off track… fast.#see it seems like I should cause I love that one song by pain from back in the day#(Jabberjaw Running Under Water) but I don’t know if that’s… cause it’s ska?? but it’s ska with pop punk elements??#wait Im still rambling…. I need to go make coffe and eat (can’t say breakfast it’s too late now) lunch…. oops!

I’m 38 now and here are some (mostly positive) things that have surprised me about aging:
When it comes to appearance and comparing myself to other people, I’ve gotten WAY more chill about it, even though I’ve got smile lines and a few small streaks of grey.
You know how, when you visit your old high school/middle school a few years after graduating, and all you can’t think is “WOW were we ever this young?? I thought we were So Grown Up at that age, but damn they’re just babies!”
So it’s like that. The way you feel about middle schoolers when you’re in high school, or high schoolers when you’re in college - they look like fresh faced babies and you wonder why you didn’t see it before.
So that’s the first thing: age-related appearance.
How I thought it would go: wow old people are all ugly and gross, I hope I never look like that
How it actually is: I love seeing laughter lines on my friend’s faces, because I can see echoes of the jokes we shared. I love their worry lines too, since they’re proof of what we’ve survived together.
And when it comes to my own face?
It’s just my face.
I’m WAY more neutral about it than I used to be. I used to see a checklist of things I wanted to change about myself, every time I caught a glimpse of my face in the mirror.
Now? I’m honestly too tired and too busy to care about something that matters so little in the long run, and I’d rather use my headspace for something else that actually matters.
(And like, ofc I’m still insecure about parts of my appearance, I’m human. but it just feels SO much less pressing now than it did when I was younger.)
Eventually you really do just look in the mirror, shrug, and say, “Eh, could be worse.” And then you carry on spending time with your loved ones and hobbies, in the home you’ve made.
Also back to comparing my appearance to the appearances of those younger than me: I expected to just feel less and less sexy as I got older, and kind of assumed that maybe older people just kind of grin and bear it if they have sex at all (lol)
But the reality is - I don’t think I look “old,” per se. I just think that everyone else looks impossibly young 🤣
Looking at college kids now gives me that same feeling of seeing middle schoolers when you’re in high school. You’re just kind of like, “Why are these humans so underbaked” 😂😂
Idk. That started out one way and turned into a ramble, but I’ve been thinking a lot about appearance lately, as I begin planning the first steps of my own transition (YAY.) And I’ve been reflecting on how many insecurities really have faded over the years.
It will be the work of a lifetime to accept myself fully, of course. But I feel SO much more calm, centered and peaceful than I ever have before, and it’s been a really lovely surprise.
Tl;dr what they don’t tell you about aging is that it’s Fine, Actually, and you will feel SO much less insecure, I promise you. You’ll let others expectations roll off your back, and stop doing things to make other people happy.
And you’ll start the long (and wonderful) lifelong process of learning to make a home in yourself, for yourself ❤️

hey girlll i hope ur having an amazing day and feeling just as i have a fluffy request for older eddie!
we made him dinner after he’s had such a long day at work and when he cuts in the steak😂😂😂😂😂 it’s raw😬😬😬 (def not speaking from personal experience.. BUT ALWAYS MAKE SURE ITS FULLY COOKED.) and ur like mortified like😳😳😨😨😨😰😰😰 but he’s like 🤣🤣🤣🤣 let’s just order pizza boo
hiiiii girly I’m doing well & I hope you are too! 💕 this is so cute I love older!eddie 🫠
cw: just fluff! and mentions of food obviously
All Eddie knows is that the ache in his back is enough to bring him to his knees. And then his knees hurt too, so he probably wouldn’t be able to get back up if he went down.
He also knows that your sweet, cheerful face and bright little attitude are a cure-all, and the fact that he gets to come home to you makes the bad days at work that much easier.
This is further proven when the front door swings open before he’s even fully out of his truck, your smile wide as you come bounding down the driveway to greet him.
“Woah, girly, what’s up with you?” he asks, grinning as he accepts you into his arms.
Your face smushes against his chest, inhaling his scent without caring that he’s sweaty and grease-stained from the shop. “Missed you, handsome,” you hum, looking up at him and scrunching your face when he presses a kiss to your nose.
“Missed you, sweet girl. What’re you up to?”
“I cooked you dinner,” you say, biting back a smile as you start to pull him towards the house. Your excitement is palpable, clearly proud of yourself, and he finds it too adorable to explain.
“Sweetheart,” he says, stopping you in your tracks to pull you back into him, pressing a chaste kiss to your mouth. “You didn’t have to do that for me. Know you’re busy, too.”
“I know I didn’t have to. But I wanted to. I tried something different,” you say, averting his gaze. “I just hope it’s good, I’m a little nervous.”
“Baby, you made it, so it’ll be great,” he assures you, finally stepping through the threshold into his home.
The kitchen is tidied up, the only remnants of your cooking session being the dishes soaking in the soapy sink and, of course, the food itself. The table is set, two plates at each of your respective seats, glasses of wine poured. There’s a couple of candles lit, too, and he wonders how you just knew today was a stressful day. You always seem to magically know when he needs a little pick-me-up.
“What do you think?” you ask, rocking back and forth on your heels.
He just gapes at you for a second before he’s picking you up and spinning you, kissing all over your face when he sets you down. His stubble scratches your cheeks, his calloused fingers cupping your face.
“I think I have no idea how I bagged the hottest, sweetest, most thoughtful girl in the whole damn universe,” he says, smiling when you laugh.
“Oh, please. It’s just steak. I just know you always order one when we go out anywhere nice and I figured I’d try to make it myself…” you trail off, looking up into his soft brown eyes.
“Well then let’s try it, shall we?” he asks, pulling out your chair and letting you sit before he takes his spot across from you.
You don’t even pick up your fork, chewing at your nail as you watch him prepare his utensils. He presses the knife to the meat, making a clean cut into it as you observe with baited breath. His expression is unreadable as he looks down at his plate, and he opens and shuts his mouth as if he doesn’t know what to say.
“What’s wrong with it?” you ask, already putting your head in your hands. “Oh, my god. I messed it up didn’t I?”
“Sweetheart, hey, it’s okay,” he soothes, voice gentle as ever. “It’s just… it’s… raw.”
“Raw!?” you repeat, mortified in your seat as you look at him. “Oh my god, Ed, I’m so sorry. I just wanted to do something nice for you! And I screwed it up and you’ve had such a long day, and now we don’t even have dinner—”
He’s up and out of his seat in an instant, cutting off your rambling as he kneels beside your chair. “Baby, baby, come on,” he coos. “It’s okay. It happens,” he says, reaching out to stroke your hair.
“It’s not okay. I made a whole big deal about this, and it’s inedible. Unless you want to chance getting mad cow disease or something,” you scoff, shaking your head in disappointment.
“I’d chance getting any disease if it meant making you happy. Seriously, I’ll take a bite right now,” he says, smiling softly when it earns a laugh from you. “What matters is that you tried to do something nice for me. The effort you put into this just to make me happy is not lost on me, sweet girl.”
Your eyes are wide and glassy as you look at him, chewing on your lip as you fend off tears. “I love you,” you say, sighing as he rests his forehead against yours.
“You know I love you more,” he responds, kissing your temple before pulling away. “Now what do you say we order a pizza, maybe go get some ice cream from the store, and watch shitty movies all night?” he asks, his heart melting when you perk up.
“Can we get that good pizza with the cheesy crust?” you ask, making him chuckle as he pulls you to stand with him.
“Of course. Always the best for my girl.”
