I think Perry sleeps on the job a lot more than we see in the show. I just know being a secret agent is a really loaded job.

I imagine that Doof, when Perry’s too tired to do anything, will set up a small spot for him to rest and just patiently wait for him to wake up before continuing their whole thing for the day. Heinz understands him

I also like to think Doof has an entire nook set up for him in case this happens.
