#isat#in stars and time#siffrin#my art#doodles#the brothers doodle was two sifs staring into the void and i just put them together#i realized afterwards it could be sif and loop after the shiny mf materializes again as another siffrin#they do not know how that happened or what that means#fun time for everyone involved#this screenshot is already two weeks old#i started a new playthrough because of course#and it is quite funny#on my first playthrough at 23 hours i had 23 loops in act 3#on my second one i had 145 loops at 19 hours in act 4#NOW at the end of act 4 i am going through the house one last time for fun i have 198 loops at 26 hours#the little mf knows that banana peel and dagger better than the back of his hand#my og playthrough ended at 89 loops#and even after i came back to act 4 to get everything i could at that point i got only to 130 loops#what i'm saying is that#my second playthrough siffrin the moment he learnt they're in a timeloop#decided to split his skull open on a rock over 100 times before they even reached act 3#god he needs help#someone take my siffrin away i am torturing them so much#anyway the reason i looped so much was mainly to talk to loop and get all the chats#also farm exp#getting to lvl 99 actually wasn't that bad#went quite quickly after 85#also why does mira need so much exp#just so we can suffer#anyway act 5 siffrin at 200 loops let's go

Taylor your vital organs. they’re in danger.#iirc she DID put knee pads and stuff on when she first started out. and yet she refuses to wear a helmet. inevitable TBI moment.#in terms of general art stuff the posing looks so much better. look who learned about contrapposto.#and improved (a little) at anatomy. not really on costume design but we’re taking baby steps.#I’d like to thank the wormblr fans for recirculating the og post every three months or so for getting me out of my art block#nothing will make you draw faster than seeing your old art go around.#i promise I’ll finish worm one day 🫡#end of patch notes/ted talk/etc

i am once again thinking of a good omens wicked au, but this time instead of the obvious crowley as elphaba and aziraphale and glinda, im thinking of the OPPOSITE.
im thinking of how AZIRAPHALE fits elphaba's character in that he is an outsider amongst his peers and he's a little bit awkward and he's got so much faith in the almighty/the wizard. he's got "parents" (read: god) who expect so much from him and siblings who are ashamed of him. and he's got dreams! he wants to do big things! he wants to work hand in hand with and make the almighty/the wizard proud!
and im thinking about how CROWLEY fits glindas character in the sense that he's suave and charming and people are drawn to him. he knows how to talk to them and how to get them to do what he wants, and he's the one that teaches aziraphale things about the world (a la popular, like tempting aziraphale into eating meat and drinking wine and all these very human things he never would have thought to do without crowleys influence).
im thinking of how the two of them start out absolutely loathing each other, as mortal enemies, one could say... but how over time and as they bond more and more, as they see different sides of one another, that loathing turns into something else. something just as strong, just as passionate, but softer. gentler. sweeter. it turns into love.
and of course everything gets shattered when upon meeting his idol, aziraphale learns that god isn't what he thought she was. it turns out god is just a pipe dream. all there is is a floating head, the metatron, posing as god. and not at all the great and powerful entity aziraphale believed. and the metatron CANT help aziraphale, can't fix him. and thus the downfall of aziraphale begins.

I love the scene in naruto shippuden where Kakashi says "I'm really starting to take a liking to you" not because naruto freaks the hell out but because this implies that for the other like 3 and a half years Naruro knew Kakashi and the 16 years Kakshi knew of Naruto Kakshi just did not like Naruto at all.
#Fic where Kakashi is left to take care of Naruto but instead of treating him better than he was I'm og Kakashi just neglects him#He's 14 and he just lost like everything and the loss of the last two things he had left was basically Narutos fault if you think about it#But see Naruto is a little baby and he loves Kakashi so it's just Narutos undying affection and Kakashi doing the bare minimum#He waves colourful things in front of narutos face for a few minutes then just dips for a few weeks#Left a ryo behind but kakashi is an idiot and left all of his money out which is a lot cause he never really buys anything for himself#Or Naruto#So Naruto takes like all of it for food but then gets robbed by assholes on the street bc of course he does#Kakashi then has to kill some people to get his money back. Ugh!#Kakashis not really even angry at things anymore he's just tired and depressed and that makes Naruto feel even worse#At some point when Naruto is ten he pulls like this massive massive prank to get Kakashis attention#And it's the first time kakashi has felt emotions in forever meaning he got super fucking pissed off#But then after realising he emoted he was like “:0” and then he was in a good mood so he hit naruto over the head#Then they ate some ice-cream together#It starts of really really toxic and horrible and ends toxic and co-dependent#But you don't but you don't notice because it's so much of a better situation than we started at#Naruto#naruto shippuden#naruto uzumaki#Kakashi hatake#And yes#Kakashi does in fact get a hug#He just doesn't want it#kakashi sensei#Theyre probably fine by the time Naruto comes back to konoha w/ Jiriya#Moldy-flowers

#especially so right after finishing true colors which dont get me wrong i did like but ive found all the lis games other than lis 2 very#much disappointing in terms of how much they promise your choices REALLY matter & make a difference like. ok in the og game it really all#comes down to only your final choice mattering & there only being 2 outcomes. i really expected true colors to come through on that front#when i felt like lis2 did SO much better in that regard w actual multiple endings & it feeling like your decisions along the way impacted#those endings bcus people were yknow. still alive to experience the consequences of your choices. so i was kinda let down on that aspect#when its literally just the same ending no mattwr what you do & its only mikor differences to your relationships w people that are different#like why didnt if people backed you up on the council meeting or not impact if you succeed in taking down typhon. once again only real#decision is stay or seek adventure so same thing as the original but less consequential bcus thats like so secondary to the mystery imo#any all that to say. very refreshing to follow that up w something where it TRULY felt like all your decisions are actually important#texticles

this is. um. a Jet Set Radio/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Death joke AU, spawned out of a in-joke that started in a pokepasta discord. my apologies to both the pokepasta and jsr fandoms
the entire basis is the idea that Corn in Future retconned og JSR Beat as leader/founder of the GGs (is beat being leader in the og even CANON?) so Corn and Beat are the Myras. no it's not a joke funny enough to justify how many hours i sunk into drawing these. no attempt was made to change the setting, assign most of the other cast, or otherwise make this au hold up to ANY amount of scrutiny. if i tried to make this actually work somehow then i'd REALLY end up too far gone. also i keep calling myrtle!beat "Meat".

#BUT I LOVE IT#i love feeling like i have impact on the world even on such a small fairly insignificant scale#and i love you guys#anyway my opinion is:#flanagan is still better in his og stuff than doing adaptations#he has a fairly good grasp of building relationships between characters BUT he seems to struggle with the stories themselves.#he builds and builds this grand idea but then his endings go out with a fizzle not a boom#don't get me wrong the series was entertaining but the actors were a huge part of it they really worked their asses off#if not the charm of hamish linklater and the charisma of everyone else it would fall a bit flat#and of course you gotta let your actors do their thing but the story shouldn't rely on them to be good#i feel like flanagan loves references and patterns too much to the point where he becomes drunk on the concepts and the plot suffers.#which i can understand bc i also love patterns BUT#when you're creating a tv series you can't lose the forest for the trees#(i didn't mind the monologues tho! that's not where the problem lies surprisingly.#it's more the way they're written and how the story is - it's supposed to be deep and it is but it loses the depth when it's overexplained.#sometimes you wish something was withheld from you as the viewer.#like the moment of silence when riley goes out at night and sees the world differently. i really like that moment of stillness#where everything he could have said was felt rather than explained.#so there's that)#i also wish he was more daring#because in the end everything was very simple and explainable. all the reasons all the relationship dynamics.#i personally would push for more ambiguity. more moments of uncertainty and madness#it was all very constrainted. despite there being a literal winged vampiric creature hanging around.#which btw was underutilized. OR could have been eliminated altogether. that would have been interesting.
