i love how you trash on fanon things specifically when they’re about the robins so i was wondering if you could tell us which do you think are the worst things that people have come up with?

i also can’t lie, the popular fanon belief that the boys (ie dick and jason mostly it seems like) use nicknames for each other/other siblings is a bit hard to swallow. like that post that’s like jason would NOT be calling anyone baby bird or whatever because he hates everyone, like that is so true. but also with dick? i just. i don’t know. i once saw a post where someone documented actual canon nicknames, i’d love to find it again, but genuinely, in my reading so far—which is pre flashpoint so idk maybe cursed rebirth strikes again there—i haven’t encountered any nicknames ppl like to use in their fics like idk. baby bird. again. little wing?? drawing a blank but You know what i’m talking about….

and i know it’s a thing of affection but i think affection between them can be expressed in a way different from that, i just see the nicknames as being the go-to, if that makes sense? i’m not sure if any of this sense it’s 2am and i am eepy bear with me

steph and waffles seems overdone too. and as we all know. i loathe tim’s fanon personality. the whole sleep deprivation making coffee his entire personality thing is so annoying. and making him meek and shy. AND woobifying him. like that boy has flaws. he has so many flaws. he’s so much more interesting with his flaws. Can we please talk about the flaws.

it’s really just when people oversimplify their personalities that annoys me. dick becomes the happy ‘nice one’ (which isn’t true/again oversimplifying), jason is the ‘mean but soft one,’ tim is the ‘smart/coffee/exhausted one’, cass is the ‘nice quiet one’, steph is the ‘comedic relief,’ duke is the ‘normal one’ (this one REALLY annoys me LMAO), damian is…. the ‘bratty/animal obsessed’ one? (must confess i am not versed in damian’s fanon i think he may be exempt from it—the worst of it but again could be wrong—BUT i do think people take the easy route with his personality sometimes and then with jon. yeah. yeah)

Things I think the fandom just willfully ignores or has no idea about that would be super easy to slip into your fanfiction if you want to be inclusive and try out new things.

Lucifer just likes shibari, nawajutsu, or some form of rope tying art, and there's nothing inherently sexual about the excitement it brings him. He's a sadist too, but attraction to the other party would only add to the experience, not be necessary or a byproduct.

Belphegor could age regress and nobody would really be the wiser because of his position as coddled/spoiled youngest child. Even if they were, it doesn't change anything, really.

Beelzebub can fuck. He's also a cannibal. Do I need to say the vore word for you to understand how underutilized food/gore as a love language would be with him? No, it doesn't need to be sexual either, but goddamn so many keep treating him like UwU baby when he kills demons in cold blood because he hungy

Asmodeus is any gender or sexuality you want him to be. Lust ≠ attraction, and you can make him asexual. He's pretty free with how he presents. Also, his fans are so desperate for nice content on him that they'll take anything too. Nobody is going to kill you over this.

Mammon's greed can also be depicted as someone who wants to monopolize your time and/or affections. He attempts plenty of times in canon.

Barbatos' strongest attachment is Diavolo, but he does care about other beings. As long as they're not getting in the way of Diavolo, he's allowed to show care in his own way goddamnit. He's not an ice statue.

Mammon is allowed to be a non-sexual masochist. I don't know why people think all kinks are sexual, BUT HE'S ALLOWED.

I just want to take a moment to acknowledge bloodlust counting as a lust.

Luke is a genuinely deep character with a compelling story and important appearances, and you will be doing better than 99% of the fandom if you just acknowledge that he's more than just a kid who tags along and whines when he's scared (like all kids do when they're his age btw). Kicking him to the side is just another child discrimination case, and you can just say you don't understand him...

Almost everyone if not everyone has had a 1-on-1 in this series, and you're allowed to write about that scenario that "seems ooc" because there's someone out there who wishes that they could write who wants to see them interact, and they haven't found you because you haven't made yourself known.

I think over 75% of the cast has what humans would call a trauma disorder, and you guys have got to stop ignoring the fact that Solmare usually just brushes over stuff that genuinely affects them to keep the plot going. They've done it since the beginning, even before the cursed lesson 16.

Non-character-specific stuff under the cut:

You can headcanon and write any character that you want to as aromantic or on the spectrum. Also, news flash: familial, platonic, romantic, and sexual are not the only relationship labels to exist. Go look up "alterous attraction" if you wanna do something that would line up with, you know, emotions that aren't all centered around how our society depicts stuff.

If they're all built like that and inherently different from humans, neurodivergence may not exist to demons but have fun with the headcanons anyways. The world is your oyster.

Making another commissions post since things have been getting worse as the month goes on. For those who are just coming across this, my name is Link and I'm a 22 y/o homeless artist. My family and I (father and younger sibling) have been in this situation for about three years now since November 2021 and I've been doing commissions to support us until something changes. We don't have anywhere to go or anyone to really turn to financially or housing wise, so we've been on our own since then. My father has managed to get his ID but with no transportation and jobs being too far out, it's made job hunting more difficult and we've yet to find anything.

We do get extensions here but they're hard to keep up with when they double so quickly and work is becoming more hard to come by, and bumping posts on my other socials hasn't done much for us. If we can't pay tonight then we will be forced to leave, and I'm not sure what we'll do if we can't cover it.

Caveat 3: I am not caught up on this fic. it's one that I didn't let myself read for a while (see below) but F1 has a special place in my heart (my dad is into it, I used to live in a Gran Prix city, and I have watched WAY too much F1 Lets Play content).

I've been working really shitty hours for the past 48 hours (almost done) due to research that requires specific spans of real earth time. Because I don't have the focus to write right now, I've had the chance to read a little, and I've read about 75% of this gargantuan fic in windowless rooms on my phone, which has to say something about how much I love it lmao.

Disclaimer: I am a bad source of stsg fics because I actually don't read very many. If I read amazing fic then it tends to trigger the "you will never be as good as the old masters" part of the brain, although instead of real art like in the meme, my fic is putting gojo in a minecraft hoodie and making him do the gangnam style dance. Still.

I also get very unhealthy about metrics/numbers, which I mostly manage by using AO3 skins to block stats, but I still have some moments of weakness. So I try to avoid looking at stuff that I know might make me anxious/insecure about my own works and be unable to finish them (this has unfortunately happened to me before in the FE3H fandom, and that continues to weigh on me).

All that to say, there are some really big, nice, and well-loved fics by wonderful authors currently being updated, and I have read almost none of them. So this is absolutely not me saying I don't like their characterizations, I'm just kind of a hermit.

Okay okay so! These are always subject to change somewhat and. I have a dangerously high fever because SOMEONE. BROUGHT SOMETHING HOME. so I can barely think but. Yippie.

🖤 - which character isn’t as morally good as people think?

Well. I’ll just start by saying that 75% of these characters are pretty rough people with skewed morals so I’m sure it comes as no surprise to say Ramon. Yes, that final scene was cool as fuck, yes he was enjoyable even at his lowest. But that doesn’t change the shit he was peddling for at least 45 years for Eden. We saw the impact that his voice has had on the world around him. If it weren’t for him Sarah wouldn’t have turned out so messed up (and then get screwed over again because. She was also a victim of the system, who knows what Eden has done to her brain and what’s her and what’s not.) Ramon. Accidentally Created A Dictator. And god knows how many other impressionable children were impacted by him, whether they managed to break free or be another worst case scenario characters. Killing the board of directors doesn’t undo the cycle of near cultish patriotism that he’s facilitated over the years. Like Dolph, I’ll have to see him do more good post a change of heart to believe he’s actually a good Guy morally if that makes sense. ((We better see more of Dolph’s change of heart when we have more canon content but I digress this isn’t about him.

💖 Biggest Unpopular Opinion about the series?

I am genuinely not sure. I think most of my ‘hot takes’ are about things that aren’t even canon. Also these are a lot of mild takes. I think the main one is how I like how CLH stands on its own two feet given the downright blasphemous ways the original sources were treated at times. I’m pissed about. A few… select decisions myself I am not saying those decisions were good but at least they didn’t go on a ‘we’re really accurate’ tirade the way some adaptations do? It’s like an officially sanctioned crossover AU in my eyes (which has inspired a few things on my part.) I’m not sure really. I mean I’m pissed at Ubisoft, we all are. nfts are not the way to go and I fear they’re allergic to money, I like the things that most of yall like. Wait actually. I do have something else.

Okay so. The live action segment and everything surrounding it is genuinely the best part of the show. I discussed that scene for an Animation Essay. It is utilised so well. People who complain about it have not played any older games that hinge on realism/semi realism styles. Take the budget up with Ubisoft not that scene. Also in my research a lot of the people who hated the show skipped it??? So it’s either that disconnect or they really do not like Sarah at all and tbh I’m kind of annoyed about that. I’m certain the active fandom agrees that it’s absolutely unskipable. I’m not going to say anyone who skipped it and blames the art style hates women. Or women who just so happen to like women and just women but. Okay I am saying that but it’s mostly a joke. A little eyebrow raising if you will.

I just started my fourth relisten of The Magnus Archives and in order to spice this relisten up a bit and to fuel my undying love (and annoyance) for overused fandom jokes I’ve decided to count every single character named Michael throughout the entire podcast

The list will work like this:

• each episode (that has a Michael in it) will get its own post with each Michael’s full name along with a brief description of who they were in context of the episode, and wether or not they will be important later in the series

• if an episode doesn’t have any Michaels in it I won’t make a post for it

• each Michael can only be mentioned once (i.e. Michael Crew won’t get mentioned both in the list for MAG 75 and in the list for MAG 91) but i will be counting characters who are different by technically (i.e. Michael Distortion and Michael Shelley) as two separate characters

POWERS

As of February of 2024 we know very little of Elain’s powers, and while we know for sure that she has visions or something close to it, making her a seer; there’s reason to think that she might be able to do more than that.

ACOWAR CHAPTER 75

It’s been said throughout the series that the cauldron is taken with Elain, and gifted something to her. While Nesta took power from it, Death itself as Rhysand called it in ACOSF, Elain was blessed by it.

While I have a preference for what those powers might be, I’m not going to stick only to my ideas, but I’ll also mention some alternatives the fandom has come up with.

ACOWAR CHAPTER 74

There’s two things I want to talk about when it comes to this passage.

— Elain stepped out of a shadow.

While there’s a lot of possibilities as to why Elain was able to do this, the exact moment it was needed, there’s two main theories I would like to mention.

One. Elain was able to winnow.

ACOMAF CHAPTER 7

ACOMAF CHAPTER 13

This is the most simple explanation to what happened in ACOWAR, and it could be an indication of Elain’s power being greater than that of a normal high fae.

“Only the stronger fae can do it.”

But it also leaves the question of what about the training? We all know Feyre is a High Lady, and even she had to train to be able to use that ability, so how is Elain able to do this so easily at the right moment in the middle of the battle field?

I would love to offer you an alternative.

TWO. Elain used Truthteller’s powers.

HOFAS CHAPTER 25

We learned in CC3 that Azriel doesn’t know how to use Truthteller to its full potential, what if Elain was able to see it with her Seer abilities and make use of it?

ACOWAR CHAPTER 30

It’s known in the fandom that Elain foresaw Cassian’s death. And while some still think this is going to happen in future books, I believe it already happened and Elain found a way to stop it.

ACOWAR CHAPTER 69

If Elain was able to winnow all along, why didn’t she take the dagger that Cassian offered her? She could’ve killed the king with that one just fine. Unless, she isn’t or didn’t know she was able to until she possessed Truth-Teller.

It’s been proven in CC3 that The star-sword and Truth-Teller possess a unique ability when combined/used together, but Vesperus was referring to Truth-Teller on its own.

HOFAS CHAPTER 12

This conversation in CC3 tells us two things:

Truth-Teller doesn't possess the ability to kill the unkillable we saw with The Starsword and Ataraxia. So, a simple dagger could've killed the King of Hybern.

It's implyed by the name of the dagger and what Azriel said that it might possess truth powers.

What if Truth-Teller showed Elain her ability to winnow or the dagger's innate power to help her do it?

HOFAS CHAPTER 12

"The dagger shone with darkness" - "Elain stepped out of the shadow."

As for the second thing I wanted to mention about ACOWAR 74: Only those with the power of the starborn can wild the Sword and the knife. And this is a fact.

Healing - Life Powers

ACOWAR CHAPTER 76

Going back to the Cauldron and Elain's gifted powers. It would make sense that while Nesta stole Death itself from it, Elain might've been gifted with Life by it.

Throughout the ACOTAR books, Elain's been linked to spring and gardens, and there have been many instances where SJM wrote about Elain growing plants, growing life.

ACOWAR CHAPTER 80

All of this aligns with what we learned about Theia and the Dusk Court in CC3.

This right here is what inspired this theory, the moment I read this, everything made sense to me. This is what Bryce senses in the prison with her starborn powers, sounds familiar?

ACOWAR CHAPTER 24

Even Lucien knows that what Elain is saying doesn't seem to be about him, and I never believed it was. The wording is very specific.

"I can hear your heart through the stone." - "There was a beating, vibrant heart locked away, far beneath them."

HOFAS CHAPTER 67

"Off making more gardens?" - "I think the world needs more gardens."

Again, the wording used here was too specific to be a coincidence. A Garden, that's how SJM referred to the mountain Bryce awakened in Avallen, which is almost the exact copy of the Prison/Dusk Court.

HOFAS CHAPTER 19

"blossomed under her care,"

All of this makes me think of something SJM mentioned in ACOSF.

ACOSF CHAPTER 22

There was no reason for SJM to mention this particular detail unless it's something that might come to happen in the future; and with all of the foreshadowing I just showed you, I think it's pretty clear who they might be referring to.

In HOFAS, Bryce takes Theia's power from the mountain and this awakens the land. She already did this in Pythian, but we didn't get to know if the same thing happened there. What if the land needs a High Lady to really blossom and come back to what it once was?

I can't think of anyone better than Elain to do that.

DRESS FORESHADOWING

One thing that some elriels noticed is that SJM makes it a point of having Elain 90% of the time in either pink or blue dresses, this is a fun detail that we love to mention when talking about The Sleeping Beauty retelling theory, this one is one of my favorites so definitely check it out.

While this is true for most of the series, SJM decided to make Elain wear another color in Silver Flames, purple, the mix of the two. Where am I going with this?

I think this Google image speaks for itself, but one last thing! There's a particular line of inner monologue from Cassian that a lot of gwynri3l's use to justify Elain "not belonging" in the Night Court.

ACOSF CHAPTER 57

While they love to forget that the Inner Circle did this on purpose to make Elain look "plain", so Eris would keep his attention on Nesta; they might have a point because no, Elain won't stay in the Night Court.

Nesta looks stunning in black tho, so she'll most definitely stay there. Right?

COLORING BOOK SYMBOLISM

On another note, user acoracaodefogo found something really interesting in the official coloring book for the series. Remember how Archeron's father named three ships after his daughters? Well, each of them has a symbol that correlates to something important about the sisters' future.

The Feyre has a crescent moon and stars, symbolizing the night court, and The Nesta has a creature that looks close to what the hounds of the Daglan are described as (intriguing), and a sun, like the one in the mask of the trove.

Elain's however, has an eight-pointed star, the symbol of the starborn and the Dusk Court.

HOEAB CHAPTER 21

As we already know, only the starborn can wield the Sword and the knife, and Elain happened to wield one of the two already.

STARBORN HERITAGE

Were the sisters already part of the Starborn line? I think this might be the case. It never made sense to me how Nesta was able to shield her mind from a high lord, or that Rhys could feel Feyre, his mate, while still being human; or how their father was able to make a deal with Koshei. We know he was known as the Prince of Merchants before losing all of his fortune, but what could he offer Koshei? What could be so important that a death god was happy to strike a deal with that old man?

ACOTAR CHAPTER 35

And there's also this. This little piece of information is what made me believe the sisters weren't completely human after all. Why would their parents know and old name of the fae? The humans hate the fae, they are scared of them, why would they choose that name for their youngest daughter?

There's also this new piece of information we got in CC3. Ruhn has healing magic, from the starborn line? This aligns perfectly well with what some elriels have been speculating since ACOWAR, that Elain saved Cassian not only by stabbing the King of Hybern, but also by immediately running towards him and healing some of his wounds.

HOFAS CHAPTER 94

NOTE: One last thing that came to my mind just now, the Starborn lake is in the Spring Court and it was said multiple times in Silver Flames that Elain would love to see that court. Just a thought.

I think because we don’t have much content surrounding atsv and btsv won’t be coming out to the unforeseeable future we have gotten to the point in the fandom that we’ve turned over every leaf both films had to offer. Since then we’ve begun to start overthinking and looking too hard into things to the point there’s arguments over every little thing. The ship wars, the hobie age discourse, debating if Miguel is racist, all of these things make up like 75% of the fandom now compared to when atsv first dropped.

I’m not saying it’s like that throughout the whole fandom as we still have those who still draw fanart, their spidersonas, actual theories, and just being goofy with the characters like we were doing in the beginning but if go on sites like Twitter you’re gonna see a dumpster fire where people are arguing over these little things. There’s a big difference between the ATSV fandom on Twitter versus the fandom here. It feels like people on Twitter want to be right so badly to the point they’ll paint people as horrible for having different opinions about certain topics. Then again Twitter has/always has been a dumpster fire of housing hive mentality.

Point of the post is this is just something I’ve noticed and speculated. Not saying that the spark or magic of what the fandom has died because it hasn’t but it’s definitely been overshadowed by people who are so desperate for new content that they’re just trying hard to find something to complain or argue aggressively over.

LZ and the Lans he was leading were trapped/ambushed in a forest. NMJ could not spare the men to rescue them. WWX goes to rescue him anyway. Between him and LZ they kill all the Wen in that forest. Phew! The poll may not be very divisive, with 75% of people roughly agreeing, but I seem to be unwisely pushing the subject tonight.

I think the reason I got so deep into SVSSS fandom in the first place was because I loved the characters and wanted to understand the ending as happy, wanted Bingqiu to be happy, and the canon did not satisfy; I wrote a whole beta thing about it on AO3 (some interesting responses in the comments).

I mean, your fandom your joy; there is no reason why you can't read it the way that makes you happy, even if it means assuming that SQQ lied about all the things that you want him to have lied about and told the truth about things you want him to have told the truth about. There is no one true interpretation of this weird-ass canon.

I'm just getting a little nettled today about the argument that the only correct interpretation of Bingqiu is that SQQ is horny for Binghe and the sex is fine. Ace SQQ headcanons are entirely valid. The sex being bad is not even a controversial take! There's just a big emotional stake here: We all kinda want to think SQQ wants it and likes it and it's all fine, because that's what we want in a happy ending.

There's a kind of a fucked-up romance also in the interpretation that SQQ would be happy just to cuddle for the rest of their life, but willingly puts himself through the ordeal of sex to make sure Binghe feels 100% loved and accepted to the greatest extent that SQQ is able to make him, and is content with that choice. He doesn't have to be lying about that just because he's an unreliable narrator. It just feels kind of sad.

Hi all, so sorry to have to make a commissions post for yet another year (this is the fourth one at this point since we've been homeless :( ) but the shelter we've been staying at the last several months has been only getting worse in treatment and a lot of people are being moved, and for us at this point it isn't really a matter of if we gotta go but when with everything going on, I'd like us to have funds at the ready to go to a motel since there's no other shelters around that both have transportation and take men and women. We got a bit saved up, around 120-50ish? But we need around 270 range as a starting point.

The shelter barely gives me time to work (aka they want us to do stuff for the shelter/mandatory groups) so during the day when I have to be out, I'll be able to make slow but efficient progress. I've been getting them out quick lately so hopefully that continues until I can go back to dedicating full time! Smaller commissions will probably take around 1-2 weeks while a much bigger one will take up to a month or shorter, I'm only given 4 hours to work other than the usual 24 or under so please bear with me :")) No refunds can be given out again due to our situation but I'll give updates and make changes where possible! What got you into F1?: several friends were getting into it & were reading mxl fic & things of that nature and even though i wasn't really invested in any of the ships presented i ended up biting as well... but fsr i was not compelled by most f1 content / barely watched dts and instead got reeaaally into feeder series, i think perhaps because at the time i was fascinated by prospect projections + mapping / modeling career trajectories + the idea of "ceilings" in hockey and was watching a ton of jr hockey so it kind of translated over and i got to enjoy masterclasses like litr the most broken broadcast streams ever of kimi driving off into the distance in adac f4. But anyway... i also watched chasing the dream and became obsessed with oscar from that and the rest was history 😌🐨🧡

Do you enjoy Fanfic/RPF?: i definitely read it!!! RPF Is Fine etc. i've written 2 effwon fics very poorly and that's it but i peruse the 814 archives regularly..... i forever need to be better at commenting and feel very bad about my own shyness but i think this fandom has such a wealth of incred authors whom i am always in awe of x__x 🧡 tho i will say i'm also a stickler for the 4th wall and it mildly horrifies me that 814 are 75% public..... also fun fact 814 is my favorite oscar ship but it's only my #3 lando ship LOL. j(e|o)ndo you are so special 2 meee

How do you view new fans?: well i'm a relatively new fan so 💗 honestly i barely witness or process most fandom discourse wrt: gatekeeping the sport or dts fans or what have you since i do not frequent those circles of the internet (no public twitter / have never downloaded tiktok in my life) so i don't even know the primary arguments!!

If you could take over as team principal for any team, who would it be and why?: i should never be put in charge of anything. now i'm just trying to think strategically like okay where would i want to live but even then i have no idea... 

Are your friends and family into F1 as well?: my family could not care less but def the former !!! 💗 going to my 2nd gp soon with my beloved chirlie friend who has been with me thru k-pop fandom for like 8 years now hehe

Are you open to talking to other fans/making friends?: yes i'm just very shy & have multiple anxiety disorders Amongst other things so pls forgive my neuroticism 😭😭😭 but i love 2 have discussions.... oscar piastri lore is my passion in fact <3

i think the past few weeks, but moreso lately, this site is just the blog version of a03 where it centers white gay (maybe lesbian?) fandom weirdos who are freaks for all the wrong reasons.

like i don't remember the circumstance of karp(?) leaving and who was the owner before the current trash rn, but at the very least even if this site was predominately white, i can still find corners of black or other poc blogger's content to enjoy and it's getting harder to do that!!

also bc i'm isolated, i'm obvs horny, but now nsfw blogs are being nuked even though there's an existing mature content filter so like what's the post (besides attacking trans women rmfe). like it feels like the acceptable freaky things are like fucking i*cest, i just want to see black women make out and twerk jfc

So, what's the deal? What's this Seb Vettel's Amazing Lovers Fic Fest all about then, eh? What do you have to do? What are the rules for this fest?

Well... *cracks knuckles* ...lemme tell ya!

🌟 FEST RULES: 🌟 -All works must be complete and handed in ON TIME! If you have any issues prior to the fest’s due date, such as a possible time extension, get in contact with me or the mods well in advance.

-You may sign up as both a writer and an artist, if you want to.

-Submitting AI generated works is NOT allowed and goes against the fest’s rules. You will automatically be kicked out of the server if this happens.

-DO NOT WRITE OR DRAW ANY SEXUAL CONTENT INVOLVING MINORS (PEOPLE WHO ARE UNDERAGE)! You will be banned from the server if you’re caught doing this.

-You’re free to share snippets of your fanfic or artwork in this server. Just make sure you add ones that don't reveal too much of the story. Obviously, you can share the whole thing with the people you’re collaborating with by the time artist claims rolls around.

-Another thing to keep in mind of: If you’re going to talk about the fanfic you’ll be writing for the fest on platforms outside of Discord such as Tumblr, don’t spoil too much about what happens in your story. Try to keep it all under wraps until the date of the fest to keep your audience in suspense.

-As always, please don’t share your work with anyone outside of the fandom. The RPF world is our little corner of the internet and is not to be shared with anyone outside of that. That includes sharing it with the people you’re writing about.

✍🏻 WRITERS: 📖 -You are allowed to write more than one Seb pairing for your fanfic. You don’t have to restrict yourself to just one Seb pairing. You can have as many as you like in your story. Or you can stick to just one Seb pairing. Whatever you fancy!

-You are allowed to include any motorsport series you like in your fanfic (F1, Moto GP, WEC, etc.), but you MUST include Sebastian Vettel in it in some way. You can cross it over with other racing series, if you wish. However, general crossovers from films, TV shows and video games are NOT allowed! You can base a story off of them, but don’t attempt to put a character from, say, a Marvel film into your stories and artwork. This is a Sebastian Vettel and motorsport server after all! You can stick to canon or write a wacky, fun, silly, or dramatic story in the form of an AU (Alternate/Alternative Universe). It’s completely up to you!

-You can write a one-shot or a multi-chaptered fanfic. You may base your work off of an existing fanfic you’ve written, but it MUST be standalone and not a new chapter of a multi-chaptered fanfic. If you’re planning to make a standalone prequel or a sequel to a multi-chaptered fic you’ve written, then that’s fine.

-Your work must be at least 75% complete to submit your proposal by the artist claims.

-Communicate with your artist and beta readers. You can DM, email or message them. Whatever works for you and for them.

-All complete works must be 5k or more to allow the artist plenty of information to do some artwork for you.

-Your work must be tagged appropriately.

-You’re not allowed to publish anonymously. Your username must be clearly displayed when publishing your finished work. We won’t be able to find you otherwise!

-Make sure to give credit to the artist you are paired with when submitting your fanfic.

🎨 ARTISTS: 🖌️ -You have free rein to create all sorts of art pieces for the writer’s fanfic in any style and format you like: A title cover, a banner, a scene from the fanfic, etc. You can do some traditional hand drawn pictures, paintings, arts and crafts, video edits, traditional/digital collages, and many more. Go crazy!

-There’s no limit on how many you decide to do. Doing just one piece of fanart is absolutely fine if you can’t manage to do more than that.

-Be sure to give credit to the writer you’re paired with when submitting your artwork.
