You don’t hear back from the company for a while and just think it’s gonna take a while. It’s a long trip after all. Then those long weeks turn to long months and then you get news they haven’t had contact with the crew in a long time. You don’t know if you’re ever gonna see your kid again.

Thinking about the fact that in s1ep6 when Barry burns Rafe's arm, poor baby probably had to bandage himself up all by himself. It just makes me so sad for no reason because Rafe's always alone and he literally has zero support system. And, his hands were shaking when he attempted to steal from his dad's office and when Ward catches him, he doesn't even look concerned or notice the burnt arm of his son??? Something about that just makes me so mad and sad like wtf. Rafe needs a big hug, man. I soo wanna be his stress reliever, his balm that calms him and more. I am literally not normal about this man. Soap honestly thinks that he's very terrible to be around, like just his general presence is annoying. It's honestly to the point that soap doesn't even realize he's being self depreciating

So he cannot fathom why ghost...? Hangs around him so much.... does he like... hate himself or something??? Should soap be worried about him? Does he need to go tell price that Ghost is being mean to himself by subject himself to soap's presence?

When ghost initiates something with him one night he goes a long with it but only because he assumes that either ghost didn't want to deal with strings attached (what with the mask and all that), or he was desperate and maybe everyone but him is too scared to touch the big bad ghost

When ghost asks for them to become more serious (it was always deadly serious for soap), he says yes even though he's SO confident that this could only end horribly for him.

Ghost really, honestly, struggles to get soap to see that it's really enjoyable to be around him. But slowly it starts to get better. Some days are better than others. And it's not perfect, but neither is Ghost.
