I think this has been really good for me
#i feel far more fulfilled than i have in so long#i have so much excitement again#and ive been doodling more again#and like!! im so excited for this kid!! i really hope i can keep that fire alive for him because goddamnit he should make art!#and like#i think just. being in this environment is great#kids are so fun and interesting#and even when theyre difficult its easier to deal with because its not set in stone#kids can improve so fast#and just. even the difficult kids 9 times out of 10 theres a reason and if you can find it you can get them to work with you#like#this one kid causes problems constantly bc he has so much energy and 0 impulse control but like.. part of it is he needs attention#if you redirect him to something good and praise him for it he does amazing#got him to pickup trash when he was on timeout once and he didnt even realize his time was up when it happened#now just to get him to play nice.. hes a little mean to his classmates#but theres a few kids ive been trying to encourage to draw and theyre so fun!!#i really hope i can make a good impact on these kids#thats really all i want from life is to be a positive influence on others#wish that didnt manifest in thinking i can fix people so much though^^' but thats off topic

#fantasy high#gorgug thistlespring#riz gukgak#cw: body horror#tbh mostly for the goblin shark jaws lmao. the rest is like. fine I think#ngl drawing like snouts on a humanoid face is kinda awesome I enjoy it#it is kinda a little bit what I aimed for with how I drew riz at first but I pulled back on it#the elephant remix for gorgug I think actually feels a bit more like orc rather than half-orc#maybe the tusks wouldn't get the same lip closure in half-orcs. tho tbh saying that sharing human and orc heritages would result in#consistent physical traits across the board is already kind of a reach I think. I imagine there would be a Lot of variations#and well. at least in spyre we don't see non-human mixed heritages so far... Ive been in my dunmeshi brain lmao#getting to see ryoko kui's art of mixed humans (dunmeshi in-universe term not irl term) is like coming home. thank u ma'am#anyways uhhh I think. When you go on walks, what’s your favourite part? Mine is when I find one of the rivers or small streams nearby my house. Or when I get to meet some new dogs- or when the temperature is just warm enough to bask in whilst the trees are rustling because of a strong breeze. Maybe my favourite part is the walk itself, I like walking places. Problem is I always need to have a destination in mind.
the weather is getting nicer so its the best time to go outside and poke around for some new visitors ^_^
