vat7k headcanons for all you nerds

Hugo fell first. Because he did. He saw Varian in his dumb bandana and "magic wand" and went "that boy's cute. I hate him."

Varian is fluent in Coronan, and Saporian, and is currently learning the language of the Dark Kingdom. Hugo is multilingual, and is fluent in Ingvarran, Coronan, Bayangoran, and one or two other languages. Yong only knows Bayangoran, but is currently trying to learn Coronan. Nuru knows Coronan. While they all speak in Coronan for the most part, Varian tends to write in Demanitus's code and Hugo tends to have to translate for Yong.

Hugo is genderfluid and proud. He uses he/she/they pronouns, and was never in the closet to begin with. Varian on the other hand waited a little longer to tell them that he was nonbinary (he/they). Didn't even realize he was bisexual until he fell for Hugo, although the more he thought about it, the more it explained.

Nuru didn't ever tell them she was lesbian. She just started dating Amber. No one was really surprised.

Is Amber a character you created? Can I hear more about her and her relationship with Nuru?

I did not! She was first referenced in this image as part of the official art, but she wasn't named. At some point in the evolution of the fandom, fans came up with the name Amber and decided to ship her with Nuru. I actually have no idea who came up with the name and first heralded the ship, but it's now pretty established in fanon.

I love that people made this up and everyone decided to go with it!! I love this fandom!!! 🧪🧪🧪

ok!!! so!!! first thing is that she's on tumblr and the urge to just tag her and then run away is unbelievable but she. doesn't know i exist. so this is the way it must be

essentially, she wrote a bunch of songs for vat7k!! you can find most of the varigo songs and a few others on spotify and apple music, but she also has a whole ton that are only on youtube. she's also come out with two ep albums besides her vat7k series!!

the ones i can think of off the top of my head that are vat7k are

- Closer

- There is a Darkness

- Expiration Date (my favorite, it's a melting point song!)

- Happy and in Love (also a song from Yellow, her earlier ep but it's the one with the snowflake)

- Slippery Slope (her most famous)

- The One Thing You Won't Regret

and a few more, including an amberuru song :)

also, if you haven't checked out Bad Son Good Sun yet you definitely should!! i would listen to the rewrite on youtube, it's essentially the tts version of soldatino (which i hope you've heard because its incredible)
