Holy fuck. That would be a whole ass PARTY, wouldn't it? You'd be surprised to learn just how many friends Nnoitra actually had. Some were "closer" friends than others. All of them were quite different. The only thing they ALL had in common was that they treated him nicely. Whether or not Nnoitra treated them nicely... That was up for debate. At least there had to be something about him that they liked, seeing as they kept hanging out with him. He had never thought about inviting them all over at the same time. It would be a long invite list...

These were people he'd known for a good while, OR he'd spent so much time with that he considered them friends of his. He could expand this list to include more people too. Honestly i really do know im being annoying with this but the logistics of swapping out Avon and Raistlin and watching what theh do is the greatest form of Playing With Dolls I've ever ever had. Gosh aren’t they gorgeous tho ♥ Especially the latest and largest, though I have to give all the credit to the paper on that one haha, it’s stunning IRL, I could almost stare at the gold lattice forever rather than read, but I’m so happy with how it turned out between the pages as well!

My Drinking Game as another test run, I got the spacing how I wanted it! Yay! It’s so much handsomer and less cramped! Also I gotta say, if it wasn’t such a large usage of paper, this would be my ideal way of checking for typos - I found a couple after setting it down to ink lol, they’ve been fixed now at least ♪ Paired here with the emerge, transformed three-parter, one of my all-time-favourites <3 I reread it the night I finished it and cried again, a little bit of tender mercy always wrecks me hhhh ♥ There are so many beautiful evocative lines! I’m so happy to hold it ♪ And as you can see above, that was the one that got the cute little ghost dust jacket :D

Another test run of what I’m calling volume 1 of my Vargas Drabbles lol, so not including Have you lost your mind? since that one’s currently unfinished. I do fully intend to print it once it’s done tho :3c Hopefully that one will cause me fewer problems! I hate measuring, so I may have flubbed two covers before finally getting this one into good enough shape XP And my red yarn is still in storage so >.> Did I go purchase another ball of red yarn? I’ll never tell. You can’t tell me it doesn’t look great as a bookmark tho <3

And my current happiest! Ah!! It turned out fantastic on all counts! The cover paper obviously, as I couldn’t Not lead with that, but also the size of the spine and the way the pages settled against each other while glueing - I used a different type of paper for this one and I think I’m completely converted over, it feels amazing to work with. Whatever I was using before had to have been like 15lbs lol, I’m literally just using normal 20lb printer paper but it feels and looks and behaves so much nicer <3 The size of Helix also allowed for a slightly larger bookmark, which was perfect because we had this soft gold ribbon that was all of a couple millimeters wider than the other ribbons/yarn I’d been using, and it looks so so so pretty with the gold detailing!! I’ve put it between Ch. 1 and 2 and getting to see the actual physical size differences of the chapters is so fun ♥

ALSO it runs all the way up until my birthday with my birthday being my last day (unless i get discharged early) which is just.... no good.

summary, just messing and playing around with Jack something funnnnn.

It was another boring Tuesday afternoon Jack and You didn’t really do much today you both took the time to clean up around the house and overall enjoyed one another’s company.

It was around five in the afternoon when Jack decided to come and bother you. You were sitting in your shared bedroom catching up on a few missed shows when Jack decided to ask you a very important question.

A question that you didn’t really feel or believe was important but according to him he needed to know that answer to it as soon as possible.

“Babe, if you were to cheat on me how would you do it?” He bluntly asked.

“What? Why are you even asking me this question Jack.” You were no longer interested in your show all of your attention was fully on Jack.

“Because I seen this guy tell his girlfriend the same thing on tik tok so I decided to ask you.” He stated.

“Also because the guys asked their girlfriend and they all said they’d never cheat on them even if they got the chance.” Jack added on.

“So I wanted to see what you’d say.” He bit his lip nervously.

You would never cheat on Jack not in a million years but you’d be a fool if you didn’t use this as an opportunity to mess with him.

You smirked and shrugged your shoulders. “Do you really wanna know?” You teased. “Yes so tell me.” He urged.

“Well since you’re always gone and out and about I’d wait till you’re out of the house and probably at the studio.” You started off and Jack sat up with his arms crossed over his chest.

“Go on.” He stated with his eyes squinted slightly.

“And then I’ll text him and let him know like it’s safe for him to come over.” You said.

“What would you do with him?” Jack asked.

“Well first of all before I can do anything I’d take the little Google camera we have and put it in the bathroom and then turn off the lights so you’d think I was sleeping or something.” You bit the inside of your cheek to stop yourself from laughing.

Jack couldn’t believe what he was hearing it was almost as if you had this already planned out because to him it wasn’t making any sense how quick you were coming up with your little plan.

“I don’t think I’d do anything with him in bedroom because I feel like that’s a bit disrespectful.” He chuckled.

“Oh so you wouldn’t think already having him in the house wasn’t disrespectful enough?!” He huffed.

You rolled your eyes at him. “You wanted to know what I’d do so be quiet and listen.” He huffed but nonetheless sat back and let you finish.

“I’d take him to the couch and you know I’d let him take me to pound town for a few rounds or at least till you texted me letting me know you were on the way back home.” Jack’s jaw was to the floor at this point.

“Wow that’s insane babe.” You giggled and raised your arms in defense.

“What?” You laughed. “You wanted to know what I’d do so I’m just telling you what I would do!” You defended yourself.

“Yeah but it’s just the fact that you didn’t even have to think about anything or any of it? Maybe you’ve already been cheating on me.” You smacked your teeth.

“Jack, as if I’d cheat on you besides you’re the one that’s always away I’m sure you’d have more time to cheat on me.” You stated. He shook his head at you. “No I wouldn’t.” He said.

“Okay so you answer the question if you were to cheat on me how would you do it?” You asked him.

Jack shrugged his shoulders and you watched as a small blush of red and pink creeped up on his cheeks. “Honestly I would.” You grabbed the pillow and smacked him with it.

“You wouldn’t do shit because I’d beat your ass and I’d beat her ass.” You barked back and Jack’s eyes widened.

“What? That isn’t fair how come you got to say what you’d do and I can’t?!” He yelled. “Because I can but you on the other can can’t.”

Jack went to say something but he knew it was best just to shut his mouth. “I swear I can’t deal with you.” He mumbled.

“Hmm you dealt with me yesterday I’m surprised you went all them rounds.” You teased and Jack smirked. “You trying to go a few more right now?” He asked.

“Yeah but only if you’re down to do it on the couch I kinda want my little cheating fantasy to come true.” You laughed as Jack smacked his teeth and removed himself from you.

Jack looked at you sideways before standing up and making his way upstairs it was safe to say he was beyond done with this conversation.

“I’m done I can’t with you.” He stated and made his way downstairs you laughed and followed after him.

You made sure to make it up to him that night and let him know that there was no room for any other man in your life but him.

“We have to!” you point excitedly at the rooftop pool.

“You’re on your own…”

“C'mon, it will be funnnnn,” you insist. “I'm not suggesting skinnydipping; just dip our toes in!”

“Nooo. Bed for me. Too tipsy, Enjoyyyyy,” she slurs and pats your cheek.

And thus, you find yourself, without your best friend, making your way outside to the rooftop pool at 1 am. 

When you get there, there’s a lovely gentle breeze and the lights of the city twinkle all around. It’s quite magical in some ways. Or maybe that's the wine talking.

You are humming to yourself, removing your shoes and sitting at the pool edge, when you belatedly realise you are not alone. Someone is already in the pool at the far end. It's a man, only his head above the water, and he appears to be looking over at you slightly sheepishly as if you have interrupted something that he shouldn't be doing. Now that you are paying attention, you can see he is rather handsome.

“Miss, please could you do me a favour?” his smooth, refined, posh really, voice rings out.

Your brow knits. “What?”

“I don't suppose you could pass me one of those, could you?” he requests politely, nodding to the rack on the wall behind you. “I forgot my towel.”

“Why can't you get one yourself?” you retort with alcohol-induced bluntness after a brief look behind.

“I wasn't expecting anyone else to come out here…” he begins, and there appears to be an adorable tint high on his cheekbones.

“So?” you shrug.

“Well, I had thought a skinny dip would be refreshing…” he confesses awkwardly.

And the penny drops.

“Ohhhh….” 

You can't help it; your gaze drops. But even with the pool lit underwater, you can't make anything out at this distance. Sadly. If only there weren't so much chop in the water, you might have a better ch…

“Don't you believe me or something?” he questions with a teasing lilt, and you guiltily snap your eyes back to his face and see the smug crooked smile there. He knows exactly what you were doing.

“Sorry, I… look, it's a natural reaction…” you throw your hands up, your tipsy brain not bothering to attempt a lie. “I’d do the same if you told me there was a plane in the sky. I’m going to look. It’s who I am.” 

“There is a plane in the sky,” he fires back deadpan, and you look up on instinct.

Sure enough, there are indeed some telltale blinking lights.

“Well, at least you were being honest.” he chuckles.

You stick your tongue out, and that makes him laugh harder.

“So… towel? Please?” he looks hopeful.

You lean back casually on your hands, knowing it pushes out your breasts, and cock your head to the side. This could be fun.

“That seems like a you problem,” you shoot back with a raised eyebrow. You want to see where this could go. If nothing else, it's a fun flirtation.

He gapes at you momentarily, and then he smirks.

“If I have to get out naked to get one for myself, it will surely become a you problem?” he opines, swimming towards you.

“I’m willing to run that risk,” you answer back, and there's a little frisson through your body as he draws closer, and you can see just how attractive he is. Oh shit, that is one handsome face.

“Well, I suppose I should introduce myself as you insist on seeing me in the altogether,” he states drily as he draws up right in front of where your feet dangle into the water. “I’m Benedict,” he offers as he stands up to full height in the water.

And for a split second, you just stare. Watching rivulets of water run from broad shoulders onto a smooth, toned chest smattered with freckles down to a tapered waist. Oh shit, that is an excellent body too.

“Y/n…” you respond, distracted, your tongue feeling heavier in your mouth.

“Nice to meet you, y/n.” The tone is warm, pitched lower and something in your gut flutters. 

“Likewise,” you respond, feeling a tug of a smile at the corner of your lips. “And for the record, I am not insisting on anything. You could stay in this pool until I am done dipping my toes, and then there is no need to show me anything,” you point out with a wry tone.

“And how long might that be?” he inquires, bemused, crossing his arms in a way that seems to intentionally enhance the muscle in his arms. Bastard.

“Ah, that's one of life’s great mysteries, isn't it?” you shoot back, feeling a glow spreading behind your ribs that this could be something. It's been a while since you flirted so easily with anyone, especially anyone this handsome.

“There is another answer to the dilemma here,” he offers, dipping back into the water and pulling up to your left side.

“I’m listening….” you gaze down at him, captured by his soft hazy eyes.

“If you were skinny dipping too, then we would be equally embarrassed,” he offers nonchalantly with a lazy smile, kicking his body out backwards, intentionally, so you can see that he is indeed very naked. And his bottom and legs are very shapely too. You are left in no doubt now, and the spike of endorphins through your bloodstream is exhilarating.

“Now there is an idea…” you flirt back and, throwing caution to the wind, push off your hands and slip into the pool. The cool water is a balm to your heated body, flush with excitement and possibility.

“You're still dressed,” he twists towards you and pouts, eyes sparkling, that killer lopsided grin returning.

“Am I…?” you volley back and raise an eyebrow as you peel off your top and throw it onto the poolside.

The look he shoots you is blistering, and you know, without a shadow of a doubt, you are about to tick ‘sex in a pool’ off of your bucket list.
