I want to say I hate being aro, but that wouldn't be true. I hate what comes with it. I hate the baggage society tied to my back and told me to bear. Sure friends are nice and all, but they're never the end destination, just a little detour.

Except for me, they were never a detour. I just didn't always know that. But now, I say I love you, I'm here for you, forever and always. I say you're mine. I say I hold you so close to my heart. I say I will protect this relationship with my life. Until I have nothing left to protect. Until it fades to neglect.
