I want to say I hate being aro, but that wouldn't be true. I hate what comes with it. I hate the baggage society tied to my back and told me to bear. I hate loving and loving and loving and it never being enough because it's never romantic. It's never the "right" kind of love. It's never the "better" "stronger" type of love. It's not the love that ties two people together until death do they part. It's not the love that says you're mine. It's not the love that makes a family. It's the love that fills in temporarily, the love that's secondary, the love that gets overlooked and undervalued because it doesn't have strings attached.

Romantic relationships say they're forever, until they aren't, that they're exclusive, that they have expectations and guidelines and rules, so many rules. And yet they're valued second to none. They're the goal, the future. Beyond encouraged they're expected. You're expected to find one person, and only one, to confess love to. One person for the rest of your life. And that's it. Sure friends are nice and all, but they're never the end destination, just a little detour.

Except for me, they were never a detour. I just didn't always know that. But now, I say I love you, I'm here for you, forever and always. I say you're mine. I say I hold you so close to my heart. I say I will protect this relationship with my life. Until I have nothing left to protect. Until it fades to neglect. Until they lose interest and you're left holding a frayed rope that you thought was unbreakable.

A black screen awaited any viewer who dared to tune in. Judgement here was long gone, it being passed onto the unrighteous. A sizzling, static noise struck the shadow-filled display, absent of any empathetic touch.

"OW!"

A shriek of pain interrupted the solitude.

To follow the yelp, a long, quiet rustle was audible on the other end. Though whatever waited on the other end wasn't visible, the panicked, hurried sounds spoke for them all the same. Rustling and rummaging hissed through the blackened screen. The mental picture could easily be put into your mind.

...After a minute or two of agonizing and awkward waiting, the camera finally took focus, colors flooding the screen. What stood in plain view was a short gentleman with tanned, bronzed skin and short, black curly hair. They smiled sheepishly, smoothing back their hair and brushing off their suit. "...It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." They nodded politely, putting a gloved hand on their heart. "We don't know each other yet, but... I hope we will come to. I'm Mila Law Young, a detective at the Royal Court Agency."

"For a back of a better word, I have gotten wind that thing's have been... risque, around these parts, wouldn't you say? An assortment of crime running in these dark, shaded backstreets, hiding under our noses... And I simply cannot live with the idea that innocent civilians are getting mixed in the middle of it."

"So... that's why I'm here!" Mila beamed, grinning from ear to ear. "To protect and serve! To get to the bottom of these terrible sins that are haunting our youth! Whatever you need, please don't hesitate to contact me. Please remember that I'm a resource, an ear to listen, and, hopefully, a friend."

The sleuth bowed, looking up with a wink. "...I'm at your service."

Redo WIP

Okie dokie, I had to redo the pose, but thankfully it wasn't too hard. i took references this morning (as well as some for prop some Grell Sutclif, and a few Bassy ones drawings)

I am on the coloring phase of the drawing so far, but I wanted to give an update. I will return to the profile thing eventually, as I did get exhausted from the Hello Puppet's constant schedule, and I got hyperfixated on Black Butler.

I think for sure my next drawing will be Sebagrell, as I made a rough sketch. Not sure when It would be posted, but I'll certainly will draw and sketch more black butler (there's a high chance I might do a colorless sketch of Prince Soma)

I think this will be my fully inked in months, as inking does drain me, but this time I enjoy it quite a bit. I will try to extend more what I draw, and maybe-ish expect some Simpson content as I am actually working on a fic and a small surprise (already plotted) but probably would release about next year due to being a special case but I'll explain it when times come

Anyway, here's the WIP of Riley walking down the hall. I'll try to get it out on Monday as soon as I can, so be prepared to check it out.

I am currently on a HP break from writing, but I'll eventually get back to the works and try to finish one of the main stories (prop. Once upon a Midnight dreary, but I have to rework on a chapter)
