On the topic of Gaz erasure:

I feel like there needs to be a mention that it's not just the fandom participating in gaz erasure. He's deeply ignored by the game itself which I think contributes to the main issue at hand. Checked the store since there was a free item available:

No gaz whatsoever. I loved farah being included, but in place of gaz makes it VERY MUCH seem that activision is just treating the characters as 'generic swappable poc' rather than actually treating them like the main characters they are and it's contributing to the gaz erasure/lack of content in comparison we've seen. I appreciate the homage to NES but we're not in old-school graphical restrictions anymore. There is no reason for the text to HAVE to be that big. He could've easily fit and had his own cool art! It would've been sick! He's not included on the calling card in the other tab either. His inclusion is actively not encouraged by the game and extra content itself. It's not completely on activision, but also not completely on the fandom. I feel like a lot of people could do a lot better. Edit: for reference, the bundle for the '8 bit blitz' pack does not include gaz either, and he is swapped in place of farah. It's sad when he's excluded out of a fun event like this, especially one that has a bit more wider appeal than the throwaway fallout event.
