Request: hi! so I just wanted to send in an Erwin x reader ask where basically Erwin survive shiganshina and they basically end up becoming parental figures for historia and guide her. thanks!
Notes: After the interaction the two had (somewhere in season three), I literally head cannoned him being her father! The chemistry between the two would be so sweet if they were!! The concept for this request was so adorable!! Thanks for the request, and enjoy! ^^
“We did it...we have the colossal now,” you’d say, knees shaking after all of the casualties. Erwin then caught you. Seeing how shocked you were, he tried to calm you down the best he could.
“Yes Y/n...we did...but at a great cost.”
“Was it really one worth all of this trouble?” You said being unsure with such a loss.
“Of course it was. For the sake of humanity.”
“Right...for the sake of Humanity.”
---
Many had died during the mission to Shiganshina. A lot of your comrades lost, along with your dearest friends. You mourned over such a thing, but ultimately, were glad for the ones who had survived. Levi, Hange, your dearest and most closest friends, still breathing as you spoke. And Erwin, your lover for gosh knows how long. Even after the stunt that was pulled, he still managed to survive. You were relieved that such a chaotic man...had escaped such a brutal mess.
You were also glad that he saw what he had eagerly wanted to see. The basement that Eren had the key to. After hearing about some vague details from the commander, along with the other four who had entered, it gave you a mix of emotions. Both ecstatic to know there was more out there, yet terrified that such things were most likely forgein obstacles. Ones that would be hard to get rid of.
Regardless, you were now heading back. Delivering both the books, along with yourselves, and whatever else you had left. At the entrance of wall Sina, there you see Historia waiting. She seemed ecstatic yet composed when greeting you all. And when seeing both you and Erwin, she seemed even more pleased.
You see, even though Historia had her own birth parents, they never felt like her actual ones (based on the tragedies they caused). She’d been neglected...never feeling like she had someone to look up to. But when entering the Survey Corps, though it took a while to warm up to you, she ultimately did. It wasn’t that she couldn’t talk to you, rather, it took some time for her to see you as a mother figure.
You were maybe 15 years older than her, but even that being the case, you saw her as your own. Though she wasn’t calling you “mom,” nor were you calling her “your daughter,” you both had the relationship. Labels weren’t needed to understand such a thing.
Since she grew up without the affection of her mom, she took your affection very seriously. She was thankful to say the least. Thankful for the nights you would console her, give her advice, and hear her out. Though Ymir had done the same, the difference was that you spoke the words of a mother. Erwin had also come around to this concept, and tried getting to know Historia on a more personal level.
He saw how attached you were to such an extraordinary girl. That being the case, he too wanted to experience the joy you two shared. You of course encouraged such a thing, and therefore, he did his best when getting to know her. It was a good practice for him since for most (if not all of ) his soldiers, he considered them pawns. So that being the case, you took this as an opportunity for him to think otherwise.
Another reason as to why Erwin was doing this, was because of his own personal experience. Though he did have his father, he was (eventually) taken away from him at a young age. He didn’t want Historia to go astray like he did in his teenage years. So, he tried building a connection. Hoping his input could help her in the best way.
Though it wasn’t as easy going compared to the both of you, he did his best, and she appreciated the effort put in. He’d usually have conversations with her about life. The most simple, yet complicated philosophy out there. Maybe he would even pop in his childhood memories, and theories he had. Truly making the most of their time. And she enjoyed their interactions. You adored how close the two were. Though one was more tense than the other, the affection was clearly there. Just seeing them together, made you wonder as to how Erwin would be with his own children. Possibly yours if we’re being specific.
Erwin then approached the girl on his steed. Bowing to the queen to be, along with the rest of you.
“Princess Historia, we made many discoveries during our mission. Ones that we can discuss privately whenever it is to your liking,” Erwin said, composed with a respectful tone.
“Of course Commander. Before we do, I think you could all rest. It’ll be best if you do, after all...it seems as if you could use it,” she took note of the lack of numbers, but decided not to bring it up.
“Of course,” Erwin agreed and everyone left. Well...except the both of you. Hirstoria then invited you both into the castle. The three of you sat in a room, the two of you on one couch, while she sat on the other. Face to face as she took a sip of tea.
“Forget about formalities, I’m glad you’re both alive,” she smiled and you did the same.
“I don’t think it’s appropriate if we do...after all, you will be the Queen soon.”
“Nonsense. Even when that does happen, nothing will change between the three of us.”
“I guess not,” Erwin chuckled as she sighed in relief.
“Now that that’s over with, let’s discuss the details over your findings.”
“Sounds good, Queen Historia.”
“Oh stop it Y/n,” she pestered as you giggled.
“So, Historia…”
Erwin then went on about their findings. How there was an entire civilization across from them, how you all were subjects of Ymir, about the nine titans, and whatever else they had left to say. He seemed stern during his conversation, not only that, but you could sound the passion which rang through his words. He looked somewhat relieved that he saw such an extraordinary finding. Not only was it one step closer to saving humanity, but one step closer to fulfilling both his wants, and needs.
You didn’t know what you would have done if he hadn’t made it out alive. The guilt of him not being able to see such a sight, nor Historia...would’ve crushed you if anything. You know that the both of you would have missed him dearly...and if anything, she would have felt responsible for his death. Something that was never predicted, yet under the control of the Scout regiment. A power that she had ruled over.
Though this thought lingered, it was one that had not come true. And hopefully, things would stay that way. He was here with you. Safe and sound. Maybe a little bruised but hey, handsome either way. You then put your head on his shoulder, caressing his thumb. Though he tried keeping composure, he eventually gave in. Relaxing his body while in the warmth of your touch.
“I see, interesting…” she nod to then say:
“Erwin, Y/n, you know how much I love the both of you. Because of that...when I do become queen...please don’t let our dynamic change. I find comfort in it, and hope that we can continue to have the relations set.”
To your surprise, Erwin spoke first. His eyes soft, and his speech gentle. Staring at the young girl before him, who was now becoming an adult.
“Of course. If that is what the Queen allows, I’ll be sure to do my part. For both humanity, but importantly, you Historia,” you then placed your own cup down, accompanying Erwin:
“I agree. Of course, our manners will have to prosper when needed...but if we’re alone, or even if we’re not, feel free to come to either of us. We’ll care for you no matter what, okay?” she teared up a bit and then walked to the both of you. You both stood up, and grasped her. The mood felt both joyful, yet teary.
“I’m glad you both made it. Please be careful out there,” Erwin, though reluctant, then placed a hand (A/n: the only one-) on her head.
“Don’t worry, you can count on us, your majesty.”
‘Ah my little girl...so grown and mature,’ she tightened her grip on your torso, as your arms were still wrapped around her.
“Yes...don’t worry. You can most definitely count on us.”
---
As time progressed Historia got crowned. That being the case, she had more responsibilities on hand. Constantly working her hardest to help her people. You were glad to see such a young person blossom into such a strong woman. Though she did most things on her own, you and Erwin guided her when possible. Even when it came to the little things like if her drapes should be red, or green.
There would also be moments where it was just the three of you, or you two alone. Now that she was queen, her time was of value. So you tried to spend it in the wisest way possible. Talking about politics could wait, those were the times where you all could express things heart to heart. Being honest about how she felt, versus how things ran. Expressing her love for the people she rules, and even the deep thoughts that kept her up at night.
Both Erwin and you did your best to guide her through these emotions. Wanting to teach her both politically, and most importantly, emotionally. Prepping her for the duties she would have as both Queen, and herself. Raising her to be the person she wanted to be, and supporting her to the utmost of your abilities.
“I think I understand now, what we have to do against Marely. Though it is just one step, it’s one step closer to saving the people of Ymir.”
“Yes, yes it is...Historia,” Erwin said as he held your hand.
“It definitely is...Historia.”

Last breath of hope

Bee’s Masterlist
“Love is a two way street”
a/n: As you can see, I like to be dramatic. Don’t be shy and interact a little, ask box is always open. Any kind of feedback will be very appreciated💛
“And that’s why you have to think a little before saying things, even if they are obvious for you” Doyoung finished the lecture he had started once they left the dorms making Haechan agree with his head low before saying bye and pulling Bee inside a practice room.
To be honest with you, the girl didn’t pay attention to anything they had said after leaving the building, still too absorbed on the previous night’s events and confused as to why she had come to SM during lunchtime even though it was technically a day off for the Dreamies.
“As we could understand from Hyung’s long speech, I messed up,” Hyuck told her taking his beanie off and fixing his hair on the big mirror before turning back to her “I really didn’t think it would be that big of a deal and it would actually help you move things faster with Mark”
“But I never told you I even wanted to move things at all,” The girl said sitting on the floor and doing some random leg stretches. “And you made me feel like a dumbass with that, it was obvious bit”
“Sorry, you know I like to be dramatic” He smirked trying to get a laugh out of her but she didn’t even look his way “Really, I’m sorry. Jeno was telling me about how you were still figuring out about all of this, and I probably should have talked with you before pulling that whole stunt”
“I’m glad you get me at least,” She said moving to the other leg and Hyuck furrowed his eyebrows.
“You’re not forgiving me?”
“Doyoung Oppa told me I shouldn’t apologize for my feelings, but I still feel like the stupidest person in the world, and since my brain can understand you are the reason for it, I’ll only forgive you after I stop being mad at myself”
“Fair enough” He shrugged and sat next to her on the floor "But why?”
“Why am I stretching? I also don’t know, you were the one who dragged me here”
“Why are you mad at yourself? Is it because of the sensitivity thing everyone keeps telling me about?” He said nonchalantly and Bee furrowed her eyebrows, pretending she was about to cry, which made the boy reach over and hug her while patting her head “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m going over the line again, aren’t I?”
Relaxing her face, Bee nodded and hugged him back, finding some kind of amusement in the way he became hyperaware of everything. Once she figured the hug had lasted long enough, she softly slapped his back for him to let her go.
“I didn’t actually want to know this, but something tells me I should know what happened after I left?” She said moving so they were sitting in front of each other.
“I’m not sure I’m the one who should be telling you this” With a sigh, Haechan rubbed his hands on his face and contemplated for a moment before speaking, unintentionally making the girl nervous “We ate the rest of the pizza”
Slapping his arm, Bee whined “I’m serious right now, there’s no way you guys just kept acting like nothing happened”
“I know, it’s just… Renjun, Jeno, and Jaemin teamed up against me and started nagging about me not knowing how to keep my mouth shut”
“Did they tell you that, or they told you to be more careful around me?” The girl asked fidgeting with her fingers and shutting him up. After a few seconds without a response, she looked up at him again “I want to know Donghuyck”
“Both… but the problem was more on me than you” He said fast and putting a hand on his chest assuming his part of the fault “Look, no one looks down at you because of it. Really, we’re all very supportive of you”
“What happened after… Did Mark say something?” She ignored him and kept asking, once again, it took him a while to answer.
“Mark... was a little in shock, he kept asking us for how long we’ve known and what he should do now”
“Mark will die from awkwardness if he found out” Bee mumbled Jungwoo’s words again, and sighed dropping her body on the ground. “I think I’m going to hide in the mountains so none of you can find me again”
“Hey, I’m the dramatic one here,” Haechan said without much energy and nudged her leg “Really, cheer up baby give it a little more”
“A girl shouldn’t give away her heart so easily” The girl continued singing but got interrupted by the door suddenly opening and Mark’s upside-down figure walking in.
Sitting up in a halt and with her back facing the door, she stared at Haechan with wide eyes, while the boy had a similar face, but when his gaze stuck for an extra minute on the door, Bee figured Mark must be mouthing something to him, and if she wasn’t frozen in place, she might have turned around to see what it was.
“Can you please leave?” Mark’s voice aggressively broke the awkward silence in the room and for a split second Bee thought he was talking to her.
“I’m trying to be a better friend here, man,” Haechan said exasperated and slightly scared of what the Canadian might say.
“Well, me too” Mark huffed and Bee could imagine him rolling his eyes at the younger. “Seriously, I really need to talk to her”
“Do you want to talk to him?” Hyuck ignored the boy and turned his eyes back to her. Honestly, Bee didn’t want to, but she wasn’t sure what was going to happen if she said no, and part of her wanted to hear what he had to say.
Nodding to him, she found some courage and got up from the floor at the same time as Haechan, following him out of the room, her gaze inevitably fell on Mark and his cute round glasses. With her heartbeat increasing significantly and her hands becoming sweaty, Bee recognized those symptoms being her nerves catching up with the fact she was about to hear something she wasn’t ready to.
“We can stay sitting on the floor if you want,” Mark said closing the door, his voice trembling a little as he tried to convince himself of what he was about to do, but when the girl shrugged her shoulders he just leaned against the wall, directly facing her pacing figure “You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to”
“I’m not sure there’s anything for me to say, even if I wanted to” Bee mumbled while playing with her fingers.
“Oh, okay” Mark sighed and crossed his hands, taking a big breath before speaking “I was very surprised to … you know, find out that… you know” He gulped and clapped his hands as if he had just said something that made sense.
“I figured” She mumbled once again not making eye contact and still pacing in circles.
“We could try it” The boy said after another long breath and catching her attention, Bee stopped on her tracks and looked at him for the second time that day, only to find that he couldn’t hold eye contact and looked to the ground. “If it’s going to make you happy, I’m willing to go on a couple of dates”
Looking at his face, something didn’t sit right with Bee, so she stood in silence until he looked up at her confused face. “What do you mean if it’s going to make me happy?”
“You weren’t the one who told me about it. I’m not sure what you want me to do right now?” He said as if it was obvious and the girl frowned.
“I don’t want you to do anything,” She said and Mark huffed making her even more confused “I’ve never felt like this to anyone, especially somebody who’s close to me. All I wish is we could go back to two days ago when nothing was different”
“Well, that can’t be done, and we can’t just pretend that everything is normal” He said annoyed and getting off the wall to walk closer to her “Why can’t you just let me help you here? I’ve never been in this position as well, and I don’t want you to feel bad about it”
“I don’t want your help because it sounds like you’re being forced into something just to please me” Her tone was sad and she crossed her arms, gently rubbing them to calm her down a little.
“I’m- Wh- Hmm” He mumbled and sighed again, her small demeanor making him feel bad for being the cause of it “I’m still getting used to this idea, to be honest. I’m saying right now, me, Mark Lee, am willing to give this a try”
“Are you saying this because you genuinely think something can happen, or you just don’t want to make me feel bad?” She asked taking a step away from him and Mark couldn’t form an answer.
He never saw the girl as anything past a friend, or maybe a sister at times, and the whole fiding out about her crush on him had completely thrown him off. Sure she was cute and endearing, but he had never thought of Bee as something else other than part of his weird and huge family.
Seeing the boys protecting her after she stormed off, and when Jaemin told him she could get into her head sometimes, Mark didn’t want to be another worry to the girl, so he blindly decided that being selfless and putting her whishes on top of his would be the best thing to do. But not once he realized how all she needed was someone who could replicate her feelings, and that made him question if he could be that person.
“I could try, I’m serious, I could give it my all,” Mark said apologetic and Bee felt tears pooling on her eyes.
“But it’s not what you want to do, right?” She asked and Mark smiled sadly.
“I’m really sorry” Himself felt some tears forming and all he wanted was to give her a hug, although he doubted that would be appropriate. “Really, I wish it wasn’t like this”
Letting out a chuckle, she sniffed and walked out of the room, drying some of the tears that had fallen and taking a deep breath. Although the hurt was most certainly there, strangely enough, she felt like some weight had been lifted off of her shoulders since everyone involved was aware of her situation.
She had just been rejected and her feelings were all over the place, it’s not like she actually thought her crush on Mark would bloom into something bigger, but with that little spark of hope being killed, Bee felt emotionally drained.
In her mind, there was only one thing that could make her feel better... Dumplings.

“Inuyasha, dinner’s ready!”
Satisfied the hanyou would heed her call and come running at the promise of food, a smiling Kagome ducked back inside her little hut and bustled about, cleaning up a bit of the clutter and retrieving some dishes for their meal as she waited for her ever constant companion. She was confident he would hear her wherever he was in the village, although she suspected he wasn’t that far away. It was something she’d learned earlier on after her return; Inuyasha was never too far away, and though he may be out of sight, she knew he was reluctant to put much distance between them, and she felt the same exact way.
Setting the wooden serving tray on the floor before the fire, a beautiful housewarming gift from Miroku and Sango when she’d officially “moved in” into the hut that had previously belonged to a now deceased elderly man, Kagome sat back and stared thoughtfully into the fire, still smiling as she took a moment to think back on all that had happened since her return nearly four months ago.
Never in all of her life could Kagome have ever possibly imagined she’d be as happy as she was right now without any of the modern conveniences she’d grown up with. If someone had told her before she’d fallen down the well on her fifteenth birthday that three years from now she’d be living with no hot water or plumbing and call it paradise, she’d think them gone completely daft. Someone like her? Whose favorite pastime was taking hot baths living without hot water and being happy about it? Get real!
But then, as fate would hate it, funnily enough this was her paradise. Breathing in the fresh, clean open air, having her friends that were as close as family here with her, and sharing it all with the man she loved. It all sounded too good to be true, and sometimes Kagome did wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, fearing that her nightmares were a reality and she was still trapped in the darkness, never to see her friends or Inuyasha again.
But then strong arms, familiar arms, surrounded her in a comforting embrace as a low voice rumbled assurances in her ear and she was able to breathe once more as blessed reality came rushing back. She’d cling to him, crying her relief, and he’d hold her tight, whispering to her, telling her everything was alright much as he had her first day back.
It was a day Kagome often thought back on with a fond smile, because not only was it the point in which her life changed forever, but it was also when she realized her hanyou wasn’t the same stubborn, temperamental boy she’d involuntary left behind three years ago. They’d all be in Kaede’s hut, celebrating her return and swapping stories of how their lives have gone thus far when, her emotions finally catching up to her, Kagome had without any warning completely broken down. Her entire body had shaken with heart wrenching sobs, her face was wet with endless tears, and no matter how hard she’d tried, she couldn’t stop.
Her relief had been so intense, her joy of being reunited with those she loved most was so great, so incredibly strong she’d been unable to contain it and it had overflowed in the form of relentless crying. She’d been unable to answer Miroku and Sango’s concerned questions, only managing a stuttered apology, but then, surprising everyone in the room, Inuyasha had wordlessly stood up, settled himself beside her, and then scooped her up into his arms before cradling her in his lap, holding her as she broke apart.
Kagome had clung to him desperately, not even bothering to question his very uncharacteristic display of affection. When she’d calmed down enough where she wasn’t a total mess, she’d turned around, held out her arms to the friends that she’d missed so much, and for the next few minutes the five of them had simply held one another, rejoicing in their loved one’s permanent return.
And then the twins, wanting in on all the affection too, had joined in, Kagome laughed, and the atmosphere considerably lightened. She’d gotten introduced to Miroku and Sango’s children then, immediately bonding and falling in love with them, and they’d been able to fall back into conversation like she’d never even left, comfortable, easy, familiar.
The entire time she’d remained seated in Inuyasha’s lap with his arms draped loosely around her and they’d looked so happy no one had the thought to tease them about it.
Kagome blushed, remembering how she’d slept through the night in his arms. She was extremely pleased to say that their relationship had grown by leaps and bounds and while neither of them had truly confessed their feelings yet, they were no stranger to physical intimacy. It wasn’t anything serious yet – just mainly hugging and a few chaste kisses here and there – but Kagome was happy with where things stood between them. There was no rush, after all; she was here to stay and they had all the time in the world now that they didn’t have some great evil looming above their heads twenty-four seven.
Her blush deepened and despite herself a giggle erupted from her mouth before she could stifle it. Well, she wasn’t in a rush at least. While Inuyasha hadn’t pushed her for anything or even hinted that he wanted more, he had been the one to kiss her first, just a few short days after her return. It had been slow, gentle, incredibly sweet, and he’d simply held her afterward, claiming that he’d wasted enough time with her before being an immature, emotionally stunted asshole – his words, not hers, and her laugh had made him grin – and he didn’t want to wait anymore to show her he wanted to be with her.
Kagome had been able to do nothing but drag him in for another kiss but he’d heard her message loud and clear. Ever since then, every once in a while Kagome was able to surprise him by brushing a soft kiss to his lips, but more often than not it was that devilish man that liked to catch her off guard by sweeping her into a kiss without warning and she knew he only did it because he thought the heavily blushing and flustered state he left her in was funny as hell.
Despite this, however, and even though she did often chase the cackling hanyou through the village while shouting various threats of dismemberment, she never asked him to stop.
She did have to admit, however, with that familiar fluttering sensation in her tummy, that it was getting increasingly more difficult to resist the urge to either crawl into his lap at night, or ask him to join her in bed. Not because she wanted to tempt him or take their relationship to the next level, but because she wanted him to hold her as she fell asleep, to be surrounded by his warmth in the hopes that perhaps he would be able to chase the nightmares away.
Kagome suddenly bit her lip in thought and glanced toward the futon, her flush deepening at the direction her thoughts had inadvertently taken, however the small smile that curved her mouth was cautiously hopeful. Maybe…maybe it was time she finally stopped pussyfooting around her feelings and asked him to join her. Hell, maybe she’d even do it tonight. He practically lived here anyway; it’s where he ate, slept, and Kagome didn’t want him to feel like he had to sit sleeping against the wall in his own home when the futon was plenty big enough for both of them—a generous gift from Kaede who’d handed it over with a knowing smile that Kagome hadn’t understood at the time.
Now, though… Kagome sighed and shook her head with a chuckle. The old woman always had been rather perceptive and rather sly, to boot. She sent a silent word of thanks to her dear friend, her decision made. Yes, this was their home, Kagome loved it, and though he occasionally complained that it smelled like old man, she knew he liked it, too.
A giddy sense of excitement welled up inside her and Kagome released a few girlish giggles, allowing herself just a brief moment ridiculousness as she squirmed about where she sat, her face flushed, but her smile bright. She was fairly certain Inuyasha would agree; even if he hadn’t said it in so many words, she knew he cared for her – perhaps even loved her – and really, it wasn’t like he hadn’t done it before, except only this time it wouldn’t be because he was comforting her from another nightmare.
Kagome sighed wistfully, then frowned, gaze swinging toward the door. Speaking of which, where was that man? He should have been here by now.
Getting to her feet, she ambled over to the door and swept aside the reed mat. “Inuyasha? Dinner’s ready.” A pause. “Inuyasha?”
When still she heard nothing but the gentle breeze rustling the trees and saw neither hide nor hair of her hanyou, Kagome sighed and ventured out to go find him. It was possible he was taking a quick dunk in the river to wash off the dirt and sweat of the day, or he could be entertaining the twins at Miroku and Sango’s. He had a soft spot for those girls and they adored him in return, and watching them interact never failed to bring a smile to her face.
Kagome smiled and absentmindedly put a hand over her stomach, biting her lip as she imagined it round with their child. Though it was true she was in no rush in terms of their relationship, she would like to get there someday, and she hoped Inuyasha felt similarly. Of course, knowing her hanyou like she did, she also understood it could be a very long time until he felt ready enough to cross that step, but she was content to wait for however long he needed.
She just really hoped he wouldn’t make her wait too long.
Inwardly snorting but with a little smile curling her lips, Kagome started towards their friends’ house – even if he wasn’t there, they might have a clue as to where he is – however, she’d only taken just a few steps before she spotted the very person she’d been intent on searching for.
Cradled in the roots of his favorite lounging tree, relaxed and utterly dead to the world, Inuyasha hadn’t heard her because he was indulging in one of his recent favorite pastimes, hands behind his head and even snoring lightly. The damp hair and open kosode and suikan suggested he had indeed taken a brief dip into the river before deciding to take a nap and Kagome crept a little closer, being careful not to wake him.
Her expression softened and she knelt down, crossing her arms over her bent knees as she regarded him with a loving smile. If someone had told her three years ago that Inuyasha was napping somewhere, completely oblivious to everything, she wouldn’t have believed them. She’d known him to always be restless with pent up energy, unable to sit down and do nothing while Naraku was still out there destroying lives and collecting Shikon jewel shards. So to see him like this now, so peaceful and without a worry in the world, it was truly refreshing and a sight to savor.
She couldn’t really blame him for developing a fondness for naps. Before they had never had any time to just sit down and rest, to kick back and relax because there had always been a new enemy to fight, a shard to find and purify, and napping was damned near impossible when there was a despicably evil demon constantly looming over their heads, power hungry and hell bent on their destruction.
But now that Naraku was gone, they didn’t have to worry about any of that. They could finally just breathe, take naps, sit down and smell the damn roses and hell, have a freaking cup of tea while they were at it. The point was, they had the time now, and Kagome didn’t blame Inuyasha one bit for taking advantage of it when he could.
As a matter of fact, it was awfully temping to join him in peaceful slumber, to snuggle up against him and doze off for a while, but dinner was over the fire at home and she didn’t want it to spoil. She bit her lip as she stared at him, tilting her head to the side in thought, and then smiled.
She knew exactly how to wake him. She didn’t get this rare opportunity often and she didn’t want it to go to waste.
Fighting back the urge to giggle as she oh so slowly inched closer, Kagome managed to prop herself up over him without, miracle of miracles, waking him up and she was smiling broadly now as he hovered her face above his own. He slept on, none the wiser, and biting down on her lip to stifle a giggle that welled up, Kagome started to lean down—
It happened so fast Kagome couldn’t even draw in the breath to gasp. One second she was leaning in to wake him up via tender kiss, and the next Inuyasha had captured her mouth in a heated kiss that had her toes curling and something warm to pool in the pit of her belly. This kiss was different from all the others they’d shared; this one was slow, languid, and incredibly hot, his tongue slipping past her parted lips for a deeper, more thorough taste.
Then suddenly it was over as quickly as it had begun and Inuyasha lied back, his eyes still closed, but the smirk that curved his mouth upward as she sputtered and blushed above him was all kinds of satisfied male arrogance.
With an inarticulate noise of flustered embarrassment echoing in her throat, Kagome flopped down against him and buried her hot face in his shoulder as he chuckled beneath her.
“It was a good try, Kagome,” he rumbled, his smirk widening at her muffled shut up. “I heard you leaving our home and coming this way, but…”
“Shut up,” Kagome repeated in a peevish mutter and weakly slapped his chest, wondering if her burning face would ever return back to normal. Probably not.
“Ten outta ten effort,” Inuyasha continued and laughed at Kagome’s audible groan. “I already told you, wench.” He turned his head and he felt her shiver as he growled in her ear.
“You can’t sneak up on me.”

A/N: I haven’t posted anything in a month but I really wanted to finish this akafuri fic. I wrote dialogue first which is not my usual writing method but eh, it was fun.
Summery: Uncrowned Kings try figure out who Akashi is dating, with great speculations and misplaced indignation. Akashi is confused by his starters but is mostly focused on his phone. Mayuzumi is there for the voice of reason that everyone ignores.
Full version here, which contains a bonus scene.
OoO
Reo watched Akashi walk out of the locker room, her eyes narrowing at the almost bounce in his step. “Have any of you noticed Sei-chan has been acting weird?"
Nebuya gave her a dubious look. “You know this is the same person who did offer to gouge out his eyeballs and give them to us if we lost a game, right?”
“But he’s a lot less insane now since we lost the Winter Cup!” Hayama was quick to defend, head pocking out of his t-shirt. “We’re allowed to check our cell phones during breaks now!”
Reo nodded. “And last week he lessened our training regimen when I asked him to.”
“Yesterday he helped me study for the science test,” Nebuya added.
“And that’s exactly my point.” Reo snapped her fingers. “He’s been calmer since the Winter Cup, true, but these past three weeks he’s been nice.”
This gave them all a pause.
“Didn’t just last month he confiscated a third year’s phone, saying he would drop it from the school roof if he saw it again?” asked Hayama, remembering that terrifying incident. The poor boy looked like he was going to cry.
Reo looked over at Nebuya. “How was your tutoring session?”
“It was pleasant and helpful,” Nebuya said, in growing horror. “He even brought snacks.”
They all began to panic.
“Is he sick? What if he’s dying?” Hayama frantically asked.
“Do you think the pressure of being captain at such a young age has finally broken him?” wondered Reo.
“Maybe aliens have laid eggs in his brains and are messing with his head.”
Nebuya joined in the conspiracy. “What if he's been replaced by an alien?”
“I mean; I’ve been telling you guys from the beginning that Akashi isn’t human,” Hayama said, exasperated. “His eye changes colour.”
“Trick of the light, I’m telling you,” Reo dismissed.
“They glow during game time!”
“Adrenaline.”
“Maybe he’s dating someone?” Mayuzumi threw in, wondering why he was joining their, frankly, ridiculous conversation. He was going to put it down to vague curiosity.
“What?” This suggestion threw the Uncrowned Kings.
“You said he lifted the banned on phones, right?” Reo nodded when Mayuzumi looked at her in confirmation. “He did so he could check his. Simple.”
“The lessen training time?” Hayama hesitantly asked.
“To spend more time with his partner.”
“Being nice while tutoring me?”
Mayuzumi shrugged. “Good sex?”
There was an awkward pause as the idea of their captain have sex became a possibility.
Reo grimaced and quickly asked the main question, “But who would Sei-chan date?”
“And more importantly,” Hayama added. “Who would date Akashi?”
“Do you think he would make a good boyfriend?” Mayuzumi asked, honestly just to see what the Uncrown Kings reactions would be. Nebuya face was still frozen in discomfort from his earlier comment and it was pretty amusing.
Reo hesitated. “I… don’t know. I can’t imagine Sei-chan liking someone to that degree.”
Hayama nodded. “It would have to be someone special. Someone from Rakuzan?”
“Can’t be, or we would know.”
“So someone from another school. A cute manager? Maybe it’s the one that was also with the Generation of Miracles!” Hayama excitedly said, looking like he cracked the code.
Reo shook her head. “She’s in love with Kuroko, remember?”
Hayama waved his hand dismissively. “Aren’t all the Miracles in love with Kuroko?”
Reo froze, staring widely at Hayama. “You don’t think…?”
“But isn’t he with Kagami?” Hayama asked in alarm, catching onto what Reo was implying.
“But Akashi could still…” Reo made a vague hand movement that somehow explained everything she refused to say.
“It could be another basketball player that isn’t Kuroko?” Nebuya hesitantly offered, seemingly coming back from the dark place he went off to. Mayuzumi honestly wasn’t surprised by their easy acceptance of Akashi possibly dating a boy, but it was pleasantly nice to confirm it.
“I guess,” Reo dubiously agreed. “But who?”
“Oh!” Hayama exclaimed suddenly. “We can steal his phone and see!”
“Or we could ask him?” offered Mayuzumi, the only sensible person in this conversation.
He was ignored.
OoO
Getting Akashi’s phone proved to be a bit more difficult than just grabbing it while he was busy.
“Because Akashi sees everything,” Hayama hissed, sending quick looks at Akashi who was, coincidentally, on his phone.
Reo rolled her eyes. “My God, you make him sound like a super-villain.” And wasn’t that a terrifying thought, because there was no doubt that Akashi would make a very successful villain. He already has the tragic backstory for one.
Hayama, in a panic way to create a distraction, challenged Akashi to a one-on-one. The match itself was like watching a car accident, nothing was going to turn out well but you couldn’t look away. It was short and brutal. The phone was forgotten in favour of watching the carnage.
The closest they came was when Akashi was taking a shower. They managed to locate the phone in his bag, after way too long rummaging. However, it was password protected, which was a low move on Akashi’s half. It made snooping very hard.
Hayama peered over Reo’s shoulder at the phone. “Try 1234.”
Reo scoffed. “That’s dumb. Maybe his birthday?”
“Do aliens even have birthdays?”
“For the last time, he’s not an alien.”
“Felt that way facing off him.” Hayama leaned back, pouting.
Before they could even attempt to break the code, Nebuya waved his hands frantically from his lookout position as they heard the shower go off. Luckily for them, a message came through the same time, appearing on the front screen. In their panic, they could only see the letter “K” in the contact name before the phone was shoved haphazardly back into the bag.
Akashi walked in and gave his starters weird looks. That was probably because their idea of acting natural was to pose like they were on the front cover of a style magazine. Reo was lounging on a bench as if to seduce a lover. Akashi was rightfully suspicious and not seduced at all.
OoO
“I’m telling you that it’s Kuroko,” Reo hissed, walking down the street while still doing her tie.
They left the changing rooms as soon as they could. Reo and Hayama are buzzing from their new-found knowledge, while Nebuya less excited but still curious. Mayuzumi was there because this was his way home and it seemed more effort to try and ditch the three idiots than to walk behind them.
Hayama was still doubtful on their leading suspect. “I don’t think Kuroko is one to cheat on his boyfriend.”
“But it’s Sei-chan,” Reo shot back. “Who wouldn’t cheat on their lover for Sei-chan?”
“People who actually value their lives?” Hayama’s voice went up a few notches because no one could be that suicidal, could they? He quickly added, “Also, I don’t think Akashi would take it too kindly to being a side chick. He would want to be the main hoe.”
Nebuya groaned. “Can we please stop putting our captain in sexual scenarios?”
Reo ignored Nebuya. “Does this make Sei-chan a homewrecker?”
Hayama eyes went wide, as he never thought of his captain like that. “He really is a villain!”
“We have to stop him!” Reo slammed her fist in her hand in righteous declaration.
“Yeah!” Hayama said with the same enthusiasm, fist in the air.
“But how?” Nebuya asked, confused but determined to help his captain in any way.
“By confronting him of his bad ways!” Reo exclaimed, a steely glint in her eyes.
“And help him find a better, healthy relationship!” Hayama was now visibly vibrating.
“He’s obviously trapped in some situation and he needs to be broken free!”
“Shown the error of his way and lead down a path of redemption!”
“God help us all,” Mayuzumi deadpanned from the back.
OoO
“Sei-chan!” yelled Reo, storming towards him. She wasted no time and decided to confront him the next day before morning practice. Nebuya and Hayama approached at a slower pace but both looking just as unwavering. Akashi raised one eyebrow at them.
“You must stop your harmful ways right now!”
“What-”
Hayama jumped in before Akashi could complete his baffled question. “We know about your little secret relationship.”
Nebuya nodded coldly.
Akashi’s eyes lit up in recognition. “Oh, you know about-”
“And honestly, I’m appalled” Reo was so wound up that she even went as far as to stab Akashi in the chest. Hayama and Nebuya quickly lost their resolve in favour of staring at Reo in horror. No one dared to get close to Akashi, not for a friendly slap or high-five, and especially not to poke him in disapproval.
Akashi looked down at the offending finger before fixing Reo with a look that sent goosebumps down Hayama’s arms. “Excuse me.”
Nebuya visibly flinched at Akashi’s tone. “Uh oh.”
“Maybe we should stop.” Hayama was bouncing from foot to foot in nervous energy, literally feeling the air get colder as Akashi glared at Reo.
Reo clearly had a death wish, for she pushed on regardless. “To be involved with someone like that is honestly a disgrace. I thought you had better taste, or at the very least better tact.”
“Really.”
“Is his eye glowing?” Nebuya whispered to Hayama in fear.
“Told you,” Hayama hissed back.
Both of them took a few cautious steps back, leaving Reo to her suicidal mission.
Let it be said, if Reo felt passionate about something, nothing stood in her way. “We are all aware how emotionally stunted you are, but that does that excuse you’re behaviour. To go ahead with the relationship, where the long distance is most likely already a strain but to also be with someone who would stoop so low as to agree with it as well, is ludicrous. Sei-chan, you can do a lot better than him. You don’t need to settle for a vile bastard like him.”
“You do not get to speak about Kouki like this,” Akashi spat, looking ten seconds from murdering Reo.
Reo jaw dropped in disbelief. “You’re dating another person? Sei-chan, you’re no better than Kuroko!”
“What does Kuroko have to do with any of this?!”
Reo frowned at the frustrated confusion on Akashi’s face, finger dropping. “What do you mean?”
“For God’s sake,” Mayuzumi muttered, having entered the court around the middle of Reo’s rant and was fully done with the Uncrowned Kings’ shenanigans. “Are you dating Kuroko or not?”
“Of course not,” Akashi grounded out through clenched teeth.
Reo squinted at Akashi. “Then who are you dating?”
“Furihata Kouki.”
The Uncrowned Kings blinked in baffled union. “… Who?”
“Serin’s point guard.”
“I never thought Akashi would be into older men,” said Hayama.
“Not that one,” Akashi said with very little patience. Mayuzumi was honestly amazed that he had any. “The other one.”
Hayama blinked in surprise. “They had another point guard?”
“Oh,” Reo exclaimed. “They had the first year, right?”
Nebuya frowned. “The really scared one? But Akashi, why would you date someone so weak and-”
Hayama was very quick to jab Nebuya sharply in his sides as the murderous look came creeping back onto Akashi’s face.
“And very lovely,” Hayama rushed to continue, loudly over Nebuya’s pained wheezing. “And kind, and great in bed-”
Reo smartly stepped back onto Hayama’s foot before he did any further damage, a bright smile on her face as she smoothly finished, “And we’re really happy for you Sei-chan. We should meet him sometime.”
Akashi narrowed his eyes at the suggestion. “Over your dead body.”
“Isn’t the dead body supposed to be yours?” Hayama asked absently, more worried about his foot then what he was saying. That is until he looked up and saw Akashi’s irritated expression and hastily corrected himself, “Right, never mind, over mine.”
A/N: And that's basically it done. If anyone has some helpful criticism, it would be much appreciated. I don’t know if I should have a bonus meeting where they actually see Furi but I’m not too sure what to write for that. Suggestions?

Power Play
A Pretty Little Liars Recap (7x14)
This episode is kind of better. Not difficult to do, but a welcome change. It’s amazing – all you need to improve quality is have something actually happen.
Aria is sitting in the kitchen when Ezra comes in. He’s immediately apologetic about Nicole being there and he says he didn’t know that’s where she was going. She felt caged at the rehabilitation facility and she took off when no one was looking. Aria says she doesn’t know what Ezra has said to Nicole about their relationship, but she points out that all her pictures and stuff are all over the apartment, so if Nicole didn’t know, she’ll know now. She picks up her purse to leave because Nicole is already asleep upstairs in the bed.
Aria goes to stay with Ali, who is very sweet to her. She wants to get Aria some food and take care of her. I’ve always felt that Aria was Ali’s second favorite. It’s nice to see someone other than Emily interacting with Ali for a change. And it’s such a quiet moment. Of course, it doesn’t last; as Aria and Ali head toward the kitchen they see that the game board has moved to her house. Ali calls Spencer the following morning.
Now it’s awkward for Spencer because she has a guest being in her bed. That guest being Detective Marco Furey. Ali is asking Spencer when they decided to move the board to her house and Spencer says they didn’t; she just woke up and it was gone. It’s so creepy how many times their houses are broken into – often times while they’re still inside. It doesn’t even phase them anymore. It’s Ali’s turn at the game.
Hanna’s on the phone with someone – Caleb I guess – explaining that the investor meeting didn’t go too well. She thinks Lucas did the best he could, but that it was a result of her not being there.
Emily is late for work and rushes into the teacher lounge. She apologizes to Paige for missing the meeting. Emily offers to take her to lunch, but Paige says she has a meeting with Hackett. Paige got an offer for another position at a college; it’s a much better job and Emily asks if Paige is gonna take it. She says she’d be stupid not to take the offer; I agree Paige, take the job. They would have talked further, but Ali walked in. Emily greeted Ali for like 10 seconds and Paige just walked off.
You know, Emily doesn’t interact with anyone else of consequence until the end of the episode, so let’s just breeze through this: Ali tells Emily that she made an appointment to terminate the pregnancy; she’ll take one pill at the clinic and then another at home. Emily offers to go with her to the clinic.
Later, Emily talks to Paige about the job offer. Paige says that the other school will need a decision soon. She says that she really shouldn’t have come back to Rosewood (I agree). Paige says being like there is like being back in high school. Maybe that’s due to everyone around her being emotionally and relationally stunted. Instead she goes with feeling like the odd one out all over again because Emily and Ali are keeping secrets. Because she should know everything that they talk about.
This left-out feeling causes Paige to snoop in the teacher’s lounge. Though she wasn’t actively looking – Ali’s bag was just haphazardly on the table with a brochure sticking out. She just rudely took it out. The brochure is about making a decision about pregnancy (naturally) and when Paige picks it up, she sees the appointment card. That’s when Ali comes back in and she snatches it right out of her hands. Beautiful moment.
Finding out Ali’s secret seems to have given Paige more perspective. Emily said she thought with Paige being back that they could rekindle things. When was that even a thing? She never seemed reinterested until this episode where she explicitly said it. Paige suggests they race to figure out if she leaves or stays. Please Emily, please lose. They get on their bikes and start racing. Paige got a head start and disappears on Emily. Emily stops, calling out for Paige, who walks over to her and says that she’s already decided to stay. Then they kiss.
Let’s move on to Aria. It’s Ali’s turn at the game, but A.D. has been messing with Aria, to nobody’s knowledge. First she got a message saying that they have a file on her and if Ezra were to know the secret, he would choose Nicole and she’d be visiting him in jail. She who? Nicole or Aria? I guess Nicole. So wait, Aria’s big secret could also implicate Ezra? Clarify AD. Aria gets upset, so she picks up her Aria board game piece and throws it at a wine glass. Aria that dramatic outburst is gonna cost you…another wine glass. It’s not even your house.
When Aria talks to Ezra, he tells her that he didn’t mention the engagement to Nicole because the therapist didn’t think it would be a good idea. But considering Nicole saw Aria’s wedding dress in the closet, she kind of got the gist of what was happening. She also found the book and she wrote a heartfelt note in the margin of one of the pages. Aria starts reading it, but Ezra realizes that that can be damaging and he takes the page from her. I don’t even know how the rest of this goes with them – I lost interest and tuned it out.
Spencer’s dad finally comes home. Spencer sees his passport and when Peter comes in to apologize for not being there she’s like, “Your passport says that you were in Philadelphia a week ago.” Peter tells her that he was working with a private investigator to track down Mary.
The girls pair up because no one has a good storyline on their own. Hanna goes with Spencer to investigate the lead that Peter’s private investigator got on Mary. They end up at the home of Ted – the pastor that was going to marry Hanna’s mom. I forgot what happened with them. Anyway, he’s happy to see Hanna, but he says he hasn’t seen Mary. He invites them in for tea, but Spencer says they can’t stay. Too bad she did since Mary is actually staying there.
Meanwhile, Ali and Aria follow AD’s coordinates and find a baby store. Aria of course is confused about the significance, but before they can go in, Aria gets another message from AD. She says it’s from Ezra and tells Ali to go ahead.
Now if you can believe it, things actually get interesting. Let’s start with Ali. She goes in and the sales associate was expecting her. She gives her the scanner for a baby registry and AD messages her telling her to pick 10 items. Ali does as told and tells the saleswoman that she’s finished. The woman gives her a gift and Ali is confused. The saleswoman says that Ali asked for a personalized gift for the donor; she says it’s customized.
The rest of Ali’s moment may have been exciting if not for a few factors – the “customized gift” for the donor is like a child’s craft necklace that says Emily in craft beads; it would have taken less than a minute to make. But that makes Ali remember being in that treatment hospital, being drugged to unresponsiveness, and having a procedure done. Unfortunately, this also would have been better had they not played an audio clip of Emily saying “my eggs” over and over again. We got it – she’s carrying Emily’s child.
So not only did AD make someone who was getting an abortion go to a baby store, AD also artificially inseminated someone against their will? Truly, what the hell? Oh and wait – how did AD even do this? Either AD has he knowledge and skill to do this, or knows someone who does. More importantly, who’s the father. Please no twist where one of the boyfriends say that they were once a sperm donor.
While outside the baby store, Aria tell AD that she isn’t playing the game. AD tells Aria to meet them, so Aria leaves Ali. She gets into a waiting limo only to find Sydney. Great. Guess we’re stuck with her too.
Aria is like, “Why are you even involved in this? We barely know each other.” Aria’s making sense; now there’s your twist. Sydney spouts some nonsense about choosing to be on the “winning” side and offers Aria a spot with the winners. She says leaving Ali at the store was a good first step in earning trust with AD.
Peter was waiting for Spencer to come home. He knows that she was tracking down Mary. He gives her some answers. Soon after Spencer got out of rehab, Mary showed up to the Hastings’ house because she wanted to see Spencer. But she also wanted Peter’s help getting revenge on Jessica for telling her that Charlotte was dead. Peter said he wouldn’t help, but he thinks Mary stole his pills and used them to kill Jessica. Spencer is skeptical about Mary doing this because she and Jessica are twins…as if those two didn’t treat each other like shit all the time.
Oh and Hanna gets the best one: Ted was feeling uncomfortable after talking to her and Spencer, so he asked Mary to come clean about stuff. He and Mary dated for a bit back in college and in that time she became pregnant; he’s Charlotte’s father. Now that came from nowhere and I’m convinced they just went with that since they wanted to bring everyone back at least once. But please, no more surprise parents. The better surprise is that Ted know Charlotte, before Charlotte transitioned. But he had no idea about that child being his.
He met Charlotte as Charles back at a camp he ran for troubled boys. Glossing over how Charles was institutionalized, yet got to go to a summer camp, Ted shows Hanna picture of him, Charles, and another boy at the camp. Hanna asks who the other boy is and Ted says it was Charles’ only friend; he thinks his name is Luke or something along those line. Hanna asks “Lucas Gottesman?” and Ted verifies that that’s the name. Now that’s actually interesting; that’s a development I can get behind. Lucas has always been sketchy. It’s probably a red herring, but at least it’s one that makes sense.
Ali tells Emily about the ridiculous egg thing and cancels her appointment. They call the others, but Aria is late. When Aria comes in everyone is on edge; Emily being on edge the most. Emily yells at her for leaving Ali. Spencer then informs Aria about the pregnancy. Spencer says that they need to stick together though, since Aria’s turn is next.
The game starts making noise and they go over to see what it’s about. It’s “randomly” selecting and ends up on Hanna. Hanna is understandably pissed, but her fit about getting chosen seems a little bad since it comes across more as, “Why me? Aria should be getting her life wrecked this time.” Spencer says maybe Hanna is getting a do-over for missing her turn. Emily says that the game must have made a mistake and Ali says “the game knows exactly what it’s doing” and she gives Aria a look before following the others (who went to follow Hanna). Alone, Aria gets another message asking if she’s decided yet. All while a (once again too loud) music selection plays where the word “devil” is repeated as it focuses on Aria. We…we get it.
