#goggle v#sentai#akama moments from the movie 😌😌#wanna know something really fucking funny about the movie????#they have literally 2 out-of-suit scenes. for a total of a little over 3 minutes of the run time#(it was like this in the show too)#(you could go a whole episode not seeing a face actor until the obligatory walk towards the camera ending shot)#THAT BEING SAID i do think the hospital scene does a really good job showing off each characters personality#and the movie as a whole also nicely shows why akama is in charge over kuroda#kijima/miki are niave (negative) but their hearts are very much in the right place (positive)#aoyama fancies himself a little wiser but he's easily swayed#kuroda is clued in (positive) but it leaves him a lil cold and cynical (negative)#but then akama gets both positive traits because he's perfect and i love him#this is all consistant and reinforced throughout the show as well and like yeah sure the characterization is simple but its effective#wow had a lot of goggle v thoughts to get out apparently#and very few of them were about akama whoops

But then they kept going to imply that the criticisms of the Sonic movies are all entirely Personal and Ignorable and not like. Usually abt the horrific copaganda, misogynistic writing, and Paramount's disgusting zionism.... It's so sad. Like, I KNOW that there isn't going to be a gay tentacle sex scene in Venom 3. It's made by Disney. Also, I would have already heard of it, Tumblr would be exploding. Most importantly, it's Disney. There is NO WAY IN HELL that there will be a gay tentacle sex scene.

i continue to find ii3 baffling. why did they make it (this isn't to hate on the season, i'm genuinely curious)
#melonposting#this isn't meant to be ii neg by the way. i'm just confused about AE's writing choices#i don't remember if they ever said explicitly? at the very least i haven't heard an official answer#i don't think it was initially for any plot reason. my theory is that it's for the same reason bfb and tpot split#the episodes were taking really long to make and they wanted to go back to regular lighthearted uploads. which is understandable#so while ii2 was cooking they could still post new ii episodes with reasonable frequency#but that also raises so many questions#the biggest: why the hell is mephone here#seriously i know people like mephone but i'm sure having a different host wouldn't turn literally everyone off#and mephone hosting this show causes so many strange easily avoidable problems#like the screwy timeline. mephone ditches his show for what he experiences to be years and yet ii2 is continuing like normal#only a day has passed for them. why? maybe they'll try to explain it#in any event if ii3 had a different host this wouldn't even be an issue#but then they made ii3 really plot heavy for mephone which then ended up screwing itself over#the season justified itself as being mephone trying to escape from his problems#and he goes through character development to address all of his baggage and how much of a jerk he can be#that suddenly makes what seems to have been meant to be a lighthearted offshoot season into an imperative piece of his character (bizarre)#which would inevitably make his return to ii2 really weird cuz that would mean he had his redemption arc basically off-screen#but then they didn't even do that????? in the new episode mephone is still his old bastard self. nothing like late ii3 mephone#which means that they're effectively retconning ii3's plot out of existence. as it is ii 15 barely acknowledged anything specific from ii3#but this in particular is especially absurd. ii2 can continue like normal only because they're acting like ii3 never happened#which is just insane to me. why even give mephone character development in ii3 to begin with???????#why does ii3 even exist????????????????????? his character development is literally the in-universe justification for the season#i'm so confused#i'm just glad ii2 can proceed like normal :thumbsup: but these are seriously some puzzling writing decisions

If I had a nickel for every time in 2020s Doctor Who that the Doctor splits into multiple Doctors for literally no narrative reason, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that the writers couldn't be bothered to set-up even a flimsy explanation for something like that twice.

I'm gonna get to work on my fl lore vid finally bc w the kickstarter coming its very good time to like. Make an intro video for newbies to the world of fl. I know fl really really well (autism wins) but I'm soooooo nervous about it. It's not like I'll get stuff wrong, I'll have a big caveat about fl lore being super open ended on purpose! But it'll be something people will see and more link My 'Job' to my fl passion. I really really want to do it. But I'm just self conscious somehow.
I just can't be bothered to do private accounts hence just admitting my identity publicly online, but I do wish I was better at it. At this point I can't like, go into hiding and resurface as a DIFFERENT freak who is passionate about suncrab yknow. I'm drinking red wine rn.

There's something very unsettling and kind of creepy going on with Ruan Mei (appreciative)
#She seemed weird and mysterious before as well but like everyone else in the Genius Society#Now‚ the leaks are making me go 👀👀👀#The Light Cone and her last eidolon on their own made one Wonder™#But the information on her Light Cone open the questions even further I think#And the comments Dr. Ratio makes about her are extremely intriguing#That man is also intriguing me‚ way more than I expected#He already gave me an Apoll.o air before but his last eidolon looks so much like that and with the marble face the effect is enhanced#With how we're about to see more of the Masked Fools I wonder if he's going to be related at all with the Mourning Actors#I'm still on my Nietszchea.n bullshit when it comes to the factions of Elation I'm sorry#I am also very intrigued by the Intelligensia Guild. I like the idea of knowledge belonging to everyone and I find that's very positive#We saw the darker shades of that with Todd's quest and that was interesting but the idea is kind. I wonder#if we'll see the positive side more now. Up until now we've seen I guess a more positive perhaps view on the Genius Society#because we know them best but it would be interesting if they had a more elitist view on knowledge. Herta makes some negative comment#about the Guild. I wonder if this is where they clash but I guess there must be more#I don't know. It would be interesting I think to see the different factions of Nous have positive and negative sides#as it was done with the Abundance and the Hunt#Dr. Ratio seems to have ideas about Ruan Mei's ambitions and how they're not limited to the origin of life and her Light Cone information#seems to work with this? And she's from the Xianzhou. I don't know. I don't have enough information to even craft theories#but it's all very intriguing. I wonder if it has to do with a prolongation of life or something#How much she works with reflections and how barely there and melancholic she seems also makes me wonder. Apologies for the bummer, too personal post, but just because I need to vent (if that's even the right word here) -
What is it about the death of immediate family members that feels so unreal? My stepfather died unexpectedly this weekend, and even though I have fully internalised that on an intellectual level, on an emotional level it hasn't hit me at all yet. Same happened when my grandma died, it felt like it took my heart months to actually catch up to what happened.
#admittedly i was very close to my grandma for most of my life#while my feelings towards my stepfather have been quite negative ever since I entered my teens#so i'm not even sure if there will ever be that sense of feelings catching up in this case#but there's still something unreal/unbalancing about someone who has been a presence in your life for most of it just not existing anymore#the only thing that does feel real is the effect his death has had on my sister and especially my mum#who now has to deal with the horrible yet banal bureaucratic practicalities that come with sorting out someone's death#since i live in a different country than my family the only horrible practicality that hit me so far is the unexpected cost of#buying plane tickets in the middle of summer#which is such a trivial unimportant thing in the grand scale of things but also not something that i can just not worry about at all#thankfully it's just a matter of me being a bit more mindful of my spending over the next month or so#and not a full-on 'i'll need to skip meals' type of situation#thank god for small mercies#personal#death#sorry for the ramble#just needed to get this off my chest#also apologies in advance if you'll see even more vampire posting/reblogging from me over the next few days#i wasn't kidding when i said iwtv is helping to keep me sane

Vent post…. yay………
Some context: I write fanfiction sometimes, about whatever I feel like at the time. I don’t usually post any, preferring to just save it as a draft on Wattpad (which I’m used to, as I found it before any other site. Plus it keeps your drafts FOREVER, which I thought was obvious, but I guess not). However, due to technical difficulties (and having it constantly on for like mayyybe four years straight?? Could be six haha moving on), my computer just will not turn on. Which sucks because I had a ton of tabs open, but I’m not too down about that part anymore; the part that I’m VERY down about, however, is the fact that I can’t write anymore. I could use ao3 (and I do to read!) but then I’d be on a time limit (30 days), which would make me constantly stress thinking about it until it’s posted, which would not be good for my mental health. I could use fanfiction.net, as it has a longer time limit (365 days), but I’ve never used it before, and getting used to it would be really hard (it was hard enough with ao3). I’ve tried writing on Wattpad on my phone, but the option to write just isn’t even present?? Which is such bullshit????? And it might be fine if I get the app, but I kinda just. Don’t want to. I also have the ability to use a computer that isn’t mine and just login there, but it’s weird, and everything in my gut and soul is telling me Not To Do That for some reason, so I haven’t yet. I’m really considering just getting the Wattpad app and being done with it, because I’ve had some really good thoughts on a Pokémon fanfic I’m writing, and I wanna write it down so I don’t forget, but I don’t know.

I think i would have died even faster#so many weird rules keep getting added after I’ve graduated and I’m like ‘these kids can’t have shit. huh?’#to be fair I was also on a very high dose of an adhd medication at that time so my heart was going so fucking fast#my childhood psychiatrist seemed to live by the philosophy of ‘if it worked before and isn’t enough now just take even more’#which probably (definitely) had a negative effect on me because of the side effects I was getting#new psychiatrist is like ‘maybe we should also consider trying other medications’ which is great. seriously#I’m not sure if my current one even existed when I was in school though#and I’m not sure it would have been enough but damn. the side effects are lesser#I’ve drank my current tea cold before. not black tea though#black tea goes cold and I’m out
