last night my mom gave me some nice Bose autism headphones for an early birthday present and i was playing with the equalizer til i fell asleep I guess because my normal airpods play mono i was experiencing that wonderful feeling of being able to pick out each track in songs youve heard 1 billion times youre hearing sounds youd either never been able to distinguish within the full orchestra of every track together or never actually heard because youve only heard the mono version… yadda yadda it was magical i was listening to harry nilsson the point fantasizing about being able to share it with someone anyone and having their enthusiasm for it match mine to have someone feel how i feel about ut… ugh project what you want about me onto that

Random ass ramble but theres always that semi joke about people mistaking klonoa for a sonic oc or smthing but I legitimately do think that its interesting thinking about the similarities between the two as franchises. I whole heartedly do believe that if sonic had continued down the early surrealist route that naoto ohshima envisioned it whould totally evolve into something reminiscent of lunateas veil and beyond. Like modern klonoa characters do kinda feel like what sonic characters could have been like if that direction was pushed the maturity and it kept going with the cartooniness and fantasy of it all instead of kinda settling into a common set of tied down character design archetypes and more grounded-ish settingd and stuff
