Also a lot of schools have other kinds of free tutoring available as well, you don’t need to ask ChatGPT how to do your calculus homework because 1. It doesn’t know, it was trained to pair words together not do math (use Wolfram Alpha instead to check your answers) and 2. You can get help from someone who is getting paid to help you but that you don’t have to pay for and you will come away actually having a better understanding of the topic you are learning about.
Writing papers is teaching you to formulate arguments and how to support them properly.
Math homework is drilling skills and techniques into you.
Programming assignments are teaching you to think like a computer and preparing you for when you get a job and get assigned a very specific corner of a big project.
Labs and science homework are preparing you for lab work (duh…) and reviewing other people’s research.
And I genuinely think, as a person who got degrees in math and computer science, that it’s really important to learn how to write an argumentative paper. It teaches you so much about how other people are writing their blog posts and papers and articles and whatnot. It teaches you that you can certainly find individual quotes from things supporting your thesis, even if the whole thing maybe doesn’t (check sources for information you are being given, maybe the source doesn’t actually say what they’re arguing it does?). It teaches you that, when you have to find sources to argue against, that you can find sources that are very easy to argue with (is this video essayist actually arguing with the best version of the other side of this debate? Or is it just the stuff easiest to argue with?). It teaches you how to think critically about the things you are reading and what they are saying (because for a while a lot of what you were reading was being analyzed as a potential supporting source). Value the time you have being guided through this process.
chatgpt is the coward's way out. if you have a paper due in 40 minutes you should be chugging six energy drinks, blasting frantic circus music so loud you shatter an eardrum, and typing the most dogshit essay mankind has ever seen with your own carpel tunnel laden hands

her, “the one that got away” ✾ a. putellas
Tumblr media
summary: the first encounter with alexia putellas, the one you’d soon be her “the one that got away”. williamson!reader
pairing: alexia putellas x williamson!reader
Tumblr media
have you ever wondered if soulmates were real? whether it was platonic, or romantic it was always a lingering thought you had. unbeknownst to you, you had already met your soulmate.
‘twas the summer of 2016, where you were in your last year of medical school at the university of oxford, you had requested to do a rotation abroad for elective credit, lucky enough you were assigned to spain, barcelona a city you always wanted to travel to, after hearing stories from international students.
you seated alone in a very bustling coffee shop, the books you were reading was scattered across the table, completely disorganized.
but how could it not be? it was the last year of medical school, after that it’s residency where you could choose your specialty. being an ortho surgeon was something you dreamed about.
nevertheless, you still managed to caught the eye of a certain spaniard. maybe it was the disheveled hair, or how she thought those glasses had suit you. despite being focused on a research paper, the one a professor had assigned your course to read — she made her way to you, to properly introduce herself.
as she cleared her throat, your eyes quickly snapped away from the laptop screen, as you focused your eyes to where the sound came from.
“hola, soy alexia putellas. te vi de lejos y quise presentarme.” you watched, as she stuck her hand out, for you to grab. your eyebrows furrowed as you had returned the shake. [hi, i’m alexia putellas. i saw you from afar, and i wanted to introduce myself.]
“soy y/n williamson, una estudiante extranjeraz.” you spoke fluently in spanish, from a young age you were always interested in different languages, hence why you were a polyglot — always had your mother to thank, as she took you to the lessons. [i’m y/n williamson, a student from abroad.]
“y hablas español con fluidez.” she said, as you softly chuckled giving her a soft smile. [and you’re fluent in spanish.]
“tuve un gran tutor cuando era joven, el español no es el único idioma que sé.” her eyebrows quirked at your words, an interesting person you are. [i had a great tutor when i was young, spanish isn’t the only language i know.]
as time passes by, you glanced at your watch — letting out a gasp. it was time to leave, as you are going to meet with your capstone groupmates, running a bit late you hurriedly tried to pack, as she looked at you with confusion.
“me acabo de dar cuenta de que tengo que reunirme con mis compañeros de grupo de capstone, definitivamente voy a llegar tarde. fue un placer conocerte, alexia.” you said, as you rushed out of the coffee shop, not noticing you had left something behind — it was an important book, luckily it had your contact information on it, in case it was ever lost. [i just realized i have to meet with my capstone groupmates, i’m definitely going to be late. it was nice meeting you, alexia.]
the spaniard had a small smile on her face, as she grabbed the book you had forgotten. what she didn’t realize, the summer of 2016 was going to be interesting, filled with heartbreak, and love.
[a/n: i know it’s a short part, but trust me there will be more. i finally had the time to write, after a hectic semester filled with anatomy]

We had a woman call 3 times within the span of 2 weeks and leave voicemails trying to change her order. She never called during store hours, and never gave us a call back number, order number, email, or anything we could use to identify or find her order in the system, just gave her name and asked us to call her back.
I tried my best to find her in the system with just her name, but couldn't find anything. The second and third voicemails I just passed along the message I wrote down and the time she called along to a manager hoping maybe they could look up what number called us at that time to try and get ahold of her. They never followed up with me, so I let it go.
Eventually they sent out an email to all employees with a copy of a one star review this woman left us talking about how we were non responsive and didn't care about our customers. It was the first time I saw her name spelled out, and it was a common name with a very uncommon spelling. There was no way I was going to be able to look her up without her spelling it out, and she never gave us any other information that we could have used to reach her.
The email the managers sent out asked us to make sure we were listening to voicemails and properly following up. Voicemails are an opening duty, and I was the only regular opener at the time (we only had 1 opener at a time during Covid) so everyone knew it was directed at me, even if they didn't name anyone.
I did everything I had the ability to do. They still had the post-its with the messages on their desk, and they couldn't find her either. Fuck this lady for not bothering to call during store hours, and fuck management for the call out, when they couldn't be bothered to try themselves.

I won't get around to writing a properly developed post on it, but speaking generally and assuming broad good faith, I personally think the anachronism in Veilguard is fine. I know it's a deeply held bit of style for a lot of people, and many hold the directive about no anachronism as important to things feeling properly Dragon Age.
Personally, I never felt it THAT important. I roll my eyes at nitpicking about historically accurate costuming too, and I pause to wonder what IS "anachronism" in fantasy. I think a lot of the style of the games leaned so hard on it that, in some places, it was a substituting this rule in place of developing stronger individual style or voice. I love this series, but I don't feel like characters (notably once you got past core cast), locations, etc. always and consistently had a strong sense of voice, both in terms of diction but also in visual direction. I feel like even the music gets this a little bit, since Veilguard feels more musically interesting to me than many of the prior tracks because, I think, the soundtrack is allowed to feel a little less like vaguely European medieval heroic fantasy.
There's always been anachronism, but I think the strict reliance on adhering to a particular conception of what A Fantasy Story looks and sounds like really hampered, at least for me, the development of style identity. Veilguard's voice and style broke from that in a way that did feel successfully more specific and striking for the story and characters it's trying to dress. I think being released from this directive does—because there's no longer what we bring ourselves to the table from our familiarity with the genre and pattern recognition—however, magnify flaws in how Bioware always has treated the setting as just the backdrop against which these dramas play out. But that's outside the scope of my thoughts here. I'll just summarize that with: that's a consistent Bioware problem, and I don't think it's inherently wrong to approach worldbuilding as merely dressing the set for your story, though perhaps that isn't always the most successful approach here and I know many fans are very invested in the setting itself and its development, so that would put us all at cross purposes.
Don't get me wrong. There IS a place for that sort of directive, a rule against things that scan too modern. But then, I think for it to work, you have to have a very firm idea of your own voice, of your individual style and direction working with that directive, and frankly, I don't think Bioware EVER really had a super strong grasp of it here.
I do think the character design especially, character voice, and visual identity suffered SO much in many earlier instances because of this directive. Meanwhile, I think it's interesting and striking to have things like, for example, Neve clearly drawing from film noir and how that informs how I approach and think about her as a character and how appropriate it feels that Lucanis and Illario end on the stage of an opera house. I feel like being released from having to worry about anachronism has, for me, produced some of the strongest instances of style and voice in the series in a long time.
And I know a lot of people feel the OPPOSITE, which is a matter of personal experience and taste, but for my own, it always felt like the series was weighed down by a notion of needing to properly emulate The Genre. (We've all looked at the infamous browns and muds of Origins, a game I am fond of. This is why it looks and sounds like that, in my opinion.) This fear of being too anachronistic or too modern often left the series not really feeling, to me, like it's really had a firm sense or idea of what its style or voice was, of what made it sound or look like itself, because it was always afraid of being too modern while also feeling afraid to not look enough like a heroic epic fantasy.
I think getting rid of that and no longer fearing it has done a lot for developing a stronger voice with a look, sound, and feel for Veilguard that feels more specific and conveys story and character so much better and more confidently. Because, in the end, that's supposed to be what this is all in service of: conveying character and story. I feel like Veilguard, in being released from this restriction, has developed a stronger voice with which to do it.

I work in electrical substations, and I'm fourth generation doing this kind of work. So I wanna give more information.
There is an unbelievable amount of safety systems in place, and honestly, it's akin to how an electrical substation works. But to be honest, the safety around the portal in my opinion really depends on how much electrical knowledge FentonWorks has.
This is primarily a ramble honestly with no real point besides providing some more information and insight related to electrical safety so I'll readmore.
Overall, we don't really know what kind of electrical engineering background the Fentons have have. It's never clearly stated. Electricity is insanely dangerous. It's incredibly easy to fuck up. All of our safety protocols are written in ashes, not blood, because electricity can so easily literally burn you into ashes. Especially at high voltage.
The kind of project the Fentons work on would require an indepth knowledge, so I'd assume that they have electrical background to some degree beyond the basics.
This is the blueprints we see for the portal in the theme song.
Tumblr media
Obviously, this is just for the actual construction of the ghost portal itself. This isn't related to the electrical parts at all. Those prints are set up completely different. My point here is NOT that they don't know how to set up an electrical print; the point is that this is just not an electrical print for context.
For a 66kv/111kv electrical substation
Tumblr media
For a household water heater
Tumblr media
Basically, if you're working with electricity, this is the kind of blueprints you're looking at. This is the kind of diagram that tells you how to properly wire the devices. And this has been the standard since at least the 50s. I work in substations built as early as the 40s, and the prints are the exact same format. We can also assume cartoon logic as most people know what blueprints look like. I doubt the average viewer would know what these are.
I'm stating this too because it's another way of saying that like. We honestly genuinely cannot tell for sure how the Fenton Portal is wired since we don't see the diagrams, and we're not able to be there physically in person to determine how and why. It's impossible to truly tell what the actual purpose of that button is. It definitely looks like a safety stop button, and I think the OP provides a super good case for it. Based on the image the OP provided, I'm assuming OP took this from a gas or water utility company, which is similar to electrical but electrical is a bit different.
But from an electrical substation perspective, there's no real safety on/off switch. If you're needing to remove power, you're not often turning a switch off. You're adding a grounding wire or you're pulling fuses. Safety switches aren't really a thing (or at least, I've never seen one in a substation before), but this is also a private household and NOT an electrical substation, so I'd assume that the Fentons WOULD have one. And if so, I definitely think that they'd have one similarly to what OP noted.
An important but unrelated thing I also wanna note to is like. You guys do realize that people are human who make mistakes? A lot of people talk about the Fenton Portal under the assumption that Jack and Maddie were completely ignoring safety standards.
Wiring a huge project like a Fenton Portal would be a long, tedious, difficult process. It takes my job months to do install a new piece of equipment at the substation, because it's a slow process. You have to be careful. Every step has to be checked after completion. Troubleshooting has to happen. Certain parts have to be fully depowered in order to work on it safely, and sometimes you have to find a way to keep power going so you can work on it so it's a process to figure out how to jump power for safe working.
There's literally thousands of wires, hundreds of terminals, tens of panels. A single bad wire can stump a crew, and it could be that the guy wired it to the wrong spot, that the connection is bad. If the wire itself it bad, depending on the wire, it's a whole working day process to pull it out and run a new one because of how complex, tight, dangerous, etc, it is. We get (mildly) shocked all the time because it's just the nature of the job.
We specifically see that the FentonWorks Portal wasn't working, and they took a break when Danny decided to investigate. Any number of thing could be wrong. I don't think that the Fentons specifically forgot about the emergency off button, but that they didn't know what the issue was. There could be hundreds of things that went wrong, and they hadn't gotten to the point of troubleshooting this yet. Literally a singular wire could be bad because it's a bad wire, bad connection from the wire to the lug, bad connection from the lug to the terminal, bad terminal connection, bad terminal, etc.
Also additionally, just for some lowkey fun: We all see shots of the inside of the portal looking like this (all from Memory Blank)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do you know what this kind of looks like to me? Kind of reminds me a lot of how the outside of electrical substation control panels look and operate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Depending on what level of knowledge they have and experience, I could see some of the lines not just being cool technology showcases, but a common electrical substation practice: we use markers or tape to basically copy the electrical print line diagram on the outside of the panels to help visually identify what's going on and where/how things are connected.
Even the kind of cable that's being run looks exactly like the kind of cable used in most substations.
Tumblr media
It was a safety switch
So I'm actually obsessed with the idea that the "on" button Danny hit going into the portal wasn't actually an on button like one you get in a computer.
In basically any legally compliant workspace where I am (and I think in the western world broadly) you get these big red EMERGENCY STOP buttons that tend to be every few feet and on every machine so if something goes wrong people don't have to run far to make what ever's going wrong stop going wrong
Tumblr media
Now to me that thing looks pretty much exactly like this thing
Tumblr media
With a different layout, but the big red button is the subject of interest
Jack and Maddie seem to have cartoon consistency in their lab safety protocols, which checks out honestly given that's what they are, but It makes sense to me that they didn't so much put the ON button on the inside of the portal as that they flipped the power off to finish the final checks on the portal and then
Forgot About The Emergency Stop
(Incase people dont know, emergency stop buttons stop all the machinery it's attatched to. This can be anything from Only One Machine to literally an entire floor or building depending on the levels of "oh shit everything needs to stop RIGHT NOW." They're usually 'released' at a seperate point which can be anything from the keys in the panel above to a seperate button/keypad. Or, like the ones we had in our high school, the original red button that was pushed but you had to twist it to get it to pop back up. Kind of like a weird child lock)
So I'm proposing that the Fenton Parents, instead of being idiots in their planning and putting the on switch somewhere insane when they were drawing the schematics, actually built in a safety feature they forgot they tripped
Essentially, the Fenton parents were EXTRA safe in their lab and it half killed Danny

Hey, just wanted to reach out to say that I found you pointing out and calling this person was really great and you shouldn't have apologized. It was incredibly true what you said, and to be honest it seems out of touch with the reality of a great deal of the japanese fandom, the nuances and their culture. Also, it was as you pointed out, extreme and may I say rude. I want to mention too that the way it was written, as if entitled of the knowledge and the 'explanation' made it all worse in context of the 'fucked up'. The original poster always gets away by using the 'well-written academic'' statement of their 'metas' as an excuse to do or say and make everyone else agree and if not, uses victim narrative and discourses exactly selecting wording for people to agree on it or feel bad.
I don't know if they tagging you in the way they did made you reblog and apologizing/backing up, but no one thought bad about you pointing it out. On the contrary, a lot of people had been bullied and discriminated by this person when they called them out/disagreed going onto lenghts of sending their friends to harass people, and the other persons can't even defend themselves because they are effectively blocked. To quite a few people in the fandom has been done, even accusing them as 'acephobes' (when they're not) or even Nazis by spreading lies. So yeah, I just wanted to say that. I think you were right to call them out publicly.
Thank you very much for this ask. To be completely honest I agree with everything you said here and don't actually feel bad about pointing anything out. I mainly apologised because I didn't want any potentially poor phrasing from my side to cause unnecessary hostility and because I myself have gripes with this person's behaviour but didn't want to cause a scene.
My honest opinion is that they have a serious issue with taking accountability for their own mistakes and highly overestimate their own intellect. If you're reading this, @thegirlwhorideslikeasamurai, sorry if I seem harsh, but it's true. I saw your post lamenting how you're the only academic meta writer / fan in the fandom and I didn't interact then because I honestly do not care enough to start that drama but with the information Blonndiec has just given me, I think it's necessary that someone calls you out.
You're not an academic. You're not beyond the mental capabilities of other fans. You're actually incredibly childish in your metas and analyses and I am not kidding when I say that I was halfheartedly writing essays more academic than every analysis I've seen from you when I was barely a teenager. I don't know how old you are and I frankly don't care. You're not as clever as you think you are.
Also, don't think I didn't notice that you didn't reblog my correction (link here to my correction and here to their "response" for those who didn't see that exchange) of your post so that you could control what your followers saw of the exchange. You're the opposite of an academic. You control information to tailor the narrative, you don't cite your sources properly if at all, you don't format your posts in anything close to how an academic analysis would be, you make unbased claims, you reference posts and canon material without in any way indicating where that information is from, you reference your own (equally unacademic) metas and your conclusions from them without indicating what post it's from or that it's your own theory this new one is based on and instead present it as a common fact, and I could go on and on and on. Your posts are also riddled with logical fallacies and you talk in absolutes and opinions when there's no canon basis to claim such things. I'm sorry, but that's not academic in the slightest.
To be clear, you don't have to be an academic to post on the Internet. You don't have to be anything at all. You could up front be a genuine idiot with no remorse and that's fine. But when you claim to be an academic and also put down the rest of the fandom for not being on your level, you have to be able to back that up. It'd still make you sound like a prick but at least your arrogance would have a basis. It currently does not.
I haven't personally seen the discussions that Blonndiec is referencing and I'm not going to claim anything definitive (because that would be unacademic of me, take notes) but if what they're saying is true and did happen as described, which I have empirical, if anecdotal, evidence to believe could very well be (a friend of mine has personally been blocked by you after they criticised you without actually mentioning your name which I of course can't prove is the reason for the block but the timing is awfully convenient), you should know that you should be ashamed of yourself.
If there's context missing, feel free to enlighten me and call out any incorrect accusations. You have every right to defend yourself. However, I encourage you to cite your sources since you're such an academic. If you don't, then it's just your word against Blonndiec and anyone else who might comment's word and that doesn't prove anything. Don't misunderstand, acephobia and nazi rhetoric should absolutely be called out but only if it's actually happening. False accusations can ruin lives. I hope you know that.
I'm not a fan of calling people out publicly and, again, thank you for this ask, Blonndiec. But considering many of the issues I've personally seen and those I've been informed of by second hand sources were posted publically, I don't really feel bad about calling this out. I could do a full breakdown of just the insulting "academic" comments alone and how there's no academia to be found in said academic metas and, Samurai, if you give me reason to, I will show exactly what I mean point by point (and academically just to give you an example of even low level academia).
If you respond to this, do it in a reblog. That's what a real academic would do. If I'm wrong and you can prove it, you'd have no reason to not show my post in your rebuttal. If I'm right, you'd have every reason to be upfront about your mistakes and how you intend to rectify them. There's nothing wrong with being wrong but there's a lot wrong with refusing to admit to it in a way that lets others peer review you (academic thing, look it up) and come to their own conclusions about the situation. That's what you did when you just @'ed me instead of reblogging my response. A true academic wouldn't hide a peer review. You'd know that if you were one.
I swing in many academic spaces and yet that doesn't make me any kind of expert and I don't claim to be one because I'm not. But since you want to be one so badly, reblog this with a response and show us all how smart you are. I'm dying to know what your academic take on this is.
#sorry to any moots and followers reading this for going off like this#this has just been weighing on me for a long time#i have absolutely zero issue with someone just making posts about a thing they like and things they think about#it doesnt have to be any kind of academic in the slightest#citing sources is not necessary to be a part of fandom#but when you make such a bold and demeaning claim that actively puts down the very fandom you claim to be part of#im gonna get pissed#we are not your underlings and you are not better than anyone else#maybe this is my inner jantelov shining bright here but this is exactly what the modern jantelov is for#calling out people who think theyre better than the rest based on nothing but arrogance and ego#trust me this is not how i usually try to sort problems but ive had it and i think everyone should know#ive personally fallen victim to the “explain away with half baked arguments and appeals to emotion” tactic from people#its very easy to want to give people the benefit of the doubt#so as someone who knows and has experienced how easy it is to fall into that trap i want to point this out to those who might not notice#its very easy to miss#but i didnt miss it this time and im not letting anyone else miss it either#when you start forgiving this type of behaviour youre only a step away from letting them walk all over you#suddenly youre wrapped around their pinky and you wont notice until the light from the exit dims so much that you cant see at all#ive been there#im not letting you go there too#to be clear this isnt a this person issue but you have to catch this behaviour the moment you see it otherwise youll catch it too late#im only being this up front about it because i want you to be able to recognise when someone actually dangerous does it#its a kind of pipeline#i want you to notice in time#ask#yuri on ice

I don't really like how recently most of what I have seen on therian/alterhuman tumblr is literally just hating on tiktok therians. And its never doing anything to stop spreading misinformation its just complaining about it. Most people know that there is a fuck ton of misinformation on tiktok yet no one decides to go onto tiktok and start spreading the correct information or explaining it to them. Insead people change platforms and start spreading more negativity by complaining about how "dumb" they are when they are just misinformed. If it bothers you that much then do something and if you can't be bothered to do that just block them.
It always makes me so upset cos these people never try to explain it to them or do anything and proceed to come on here and shit on them, not to mention most of these people are CHILDREN who they are shitting on. Children are going to be prone to misinformation [saying this as a child btw] and as you guys [older therians/nonhumans] have a job to properly inform these kids on the proper terminology, how our community works and that alter humanity is a much wider term than they think.
Anyway that's my thoughts on it I kinda wanna hear other people's opinions on this topic too, so feel free to comment :D

You Go To See A Christmas Carol Part V
You expected a few mishaps on a trip to the human world to see a Christmas Carol, but you never expected quite so many or how far things would escalate. The play is over but the trouble isn’t and it’s time to get the hell out of dodge before Michael finds out.
Diavolo: “Ahahahahaha.”
Luke: “Ugh.”
Leviathan: “This is going to go viral.”
Once the party was finished properly, curtains came to a close and opened again with the staff taking a bow. Lucifer among them, having effortlessly blended into the cast as their hero.
Everyone slowly trickled into the hallway and you froze in place as you looked at the parking lot from the window.
MC: “Hey guys…”
Diavolo: “Yes, MC?”
MC: “Yeah…there’s no way we’re getting back to our cars…”
Barbatos: “Is there an issue? Oh my.”
Luke: “I’ve never seen so many cops! What happened?”
MC: “…Levi said we were part of a convent.”
Leviathan: “You said you got kidnapped!”
MC: “Technically the truth!”
Belphegor: “While we’re at it…you should know the card declined for the popcorn and none of it was paid for.”
Barbatos: *sigh*
MC: “I’m gonna go crawl in a hole somewhere. I do not wanna deal with this.”
Lucifer: “Why do you two suppose there are police searching the building?”
Mammon: “I don’t know! Maybe cause you beat me publically and a fancy butler joined in!? Or maybe cause Asmo fucked a couple of cops! Or maybe because you sent the cops there to help me away and everyone saw that shit!”
Lucifer: “I see, so it’s your fault.”
Mammon: “How is it my fault!?”
Lucifer: “If you hadn’t stashed seventeen weapons on you before entering a checkpoint then I wouldn’t have had to search you and neither would Barbatos!”
Lucifer: “And you Asmo! Instead of having the cops report a false alarm you had sex with them and made them disappear somewhere!”
Asmodeus: “I don’t know how the legal system works okay!”
Mammon: “While we’re at it, you didn’t have to stay and bow now did you!?”
Staff A: “Hey!”
Staff B: “We found them!”
Lucifer: “Great, just what we need, more witnesses.”
Director: “Listen here, I don’t know who you think you are—“
Lucifer: “All of you. This was a bad dream. Go to sleep.”
The dozens of human staff, actors, and the director fall to the ground asleep.
Asmodeus: “Oh, yikes! Someone totally got a concussion just now! Is that blood…?”
Lucifer: “We’re leaving.”
Mammon: “How!? The cops know what you and I look like.”
Asmodeus: “But not me!? That’s a crime!”
Lucifer & Mammon: “Shut up, Asmo!”
Asmodeus: “Hmph.”
Mammon: “Everyone quiet, MC is calling me.”
MC: “Hey Mammon…where are you guys….okay and why are you not in trouble…they’re asleep…blood?”
Diavolo: “I don’t think this conversation is going anywhere good.”
Satan: “It’s not a conversation they’re relaying information.”
Diavolo: “Yes, either way…”
MC: “Teleport? There are cameras everywhere we can’t just teleport out in the open. The fact we’re up here staring at the cops is already suspicious.”
Staff B: “Excuse me, everyone?”
Barbatos: “I’ll handle this.”
Solomon: “Who is that?”
Barbatos: “No one important.”
An alarm suddenly blares through the building and you all look at each other.
MC: “Is that an alarm?”
MC: “Mammon was that you guys? ….Did he hang up on me?”
MC: “Ugh, whatever. Everyone go down the stairs and make a run for the cars if they start chasing you. Try not to look suspicious. Beelzebub carry Luke.”
Luke: “What? Why do I have to run too? I didn’t do anything!”
Simeon: “Don’t worry Luke, we know.”
Diavolo: “That sounds like a good plan but why don’t we just teleport into my limo instead?”
Leviathan: “Yes, please!”
Belphegor: “Yeah, I don’t feel like running.”
Barbatos: “I’ve returned young master.”
Diavolo: “Good. We’re teleporting into the limo.”
MC: “In front of windows?”
Diavolo: “Okay…Barbatos disable the camera in the stairwell and everyone follow me.”
Barbatos: “Yes, my lord.”
Everyone crams their way into the stairwell and Diavolo snaps his fingers. You fall back against a cushioned seat in Diavolo’s limo, relieved.
Suddenly the limo door slides open and Mammon is thrown into your lap.
MC: “Oof!”
Lucifer: “Drive! Drive!”
Asmodeus: “Hey, don’t leave me!”
Lucifer yanks Asmodeus inside and they lay there on the floor as the limo pulls away while cops run towards the parking lot.
Mammon: “Haha! Too late suckers!”
Lucifer: “You’re in so much trouble.”
Mammon: “Why me!?”
Barbatos drives the limo into an alley where it could safely teleport you all back to the Devildom into the driveway of the House of Lamentation.
One by one you all crawled out of the limo. You held your stomach in pain from absorbing the impact of Lucifer tossing Mammon into the back. Lucifer unlocked the door with some difficulty and everyone, Diavolo included walked inside.
Lucifer: “I’m going to go lie down.”
Leviathan: “Guys turn the tv on quick! The human world news channel!”
Satan: “Which one?”
Leviathan: “I don’t know, whatever was local.”
MC: “You think they’ll be talking about it?”
Leviathan: “I may have seen something about a demon cult on the internet…”
Simeon: “A demon cult?”
Solomon: “Hehe, this should be good. I haven’t been in a large news scandal in a while.”
MC: “And you still aren’t, this is the brothers’ mess. And potentially mine…”
Solomon: “Potentially? You’re the one who said you got kidnapped.”
MC: “I didn’t publically beat anyone.”
Leviathan: “I found the channel, be quiet!”
News Reporter: “Thanks Jim we’re back on channel 8 bringing you the latest on the Christmas Carol chaos.”
News Reporter: “Witnesses say they first noticed something was wrong when a group of men with colorful hair began to harass a security guard. Minutes later one of them broke away from the line and began violently beating another in a nearby parking lot, they were soon joined by a white man wearing traditional butler attire. To make things worse when the cops did arrive they left after being waved off like nothing happened.”
Cop C: “I don’t recall even being at the scene to begin with. We got a call about a hate crime taking place and that’s the last thing I can remember.”
Lucifer: “A hate crime…”
Barbatos: “Oh dear…”
News Reporter: “The guard Matthew Vallinci details that they all went by strange names and referred to the black-haired one as Lucifer.”
Guard: “I’m a practicing Catholic, I knew something was weird about them from the beginning and then one of them told me they were there for Diavolo. I’m a third-generation Italian I know what that means, it means Devil! They also said something about kidnapping and Stockholm syndrome and drugs.”
All: “…”
MC: “My bad…”
Guard: “Even weirder when me and Larry asked for the truth they told us they were the master of the seven rulers of hell or somethin’ and wished us a good night. They were completely psychotic.”
All: “…”
MC: “In my defense… …I did not think that would get back to me…”
News Reporter: “Among claims of demons, convents, human trafficking, and public acts of violence there are still no answers as, despite all the cameras, the people involved are nowhere to be seen.”
Leviathan: “…”
Asmodeus: “…”
News Reporter: “Hang on a minute…I am getting word now that the security cameras have been reviewed and reveal some rather shocking things.”
MC: “It’s all downhill from here folks.”
Luke: “This can’t get any worse!”
Belphegor: “You underestimate us.”
Lucifer: “I need some Demonus.”
Diavolo: “Absolutely not.”
News Reporter: “In a video too graphic to share two of the cops from earlier in the case abandoned finding answers on a possible kidnapping crime and were recorded having sex with one of the convent men. Neither has been seen since.”
All: “…”
Asmodeus: “There were cameras down there! We need that footage! Then I can find out what bitch stole my Devicci necklace!”
Mammon: “I cannot believe that’s the only reason you’re concerned, people would pay so much money to see that shit!”
Lucifer: “ Shut the HELL up.”
News Reporter: “Furthermore in some unexplainable footage the man from earlier is seen again with his victim and after snapping his fingers the production crew for The Christmas Carol all seem to faint simultaneously.”
*The footage plays*
Diavolo: “Well…this is going to take a while to cover up…”
News Reporter: “Other infractions by these individuals include public intoxication—“
Lucifer: “…”
News Reporter: “Theft of food—“
Beelzebub: “…”
Belphegor: “…”
News Reporter: “Threats to staff—“
Barbatos: “…”
Satan: “…”
MC: “…”
News Reporter: “And grooming.”
MC: “What!? Who the fuck did that!?”
News Reporting: “The group was spotted with a child who seemed to shout in distress before the beginning of play, something about “Chihuahuas.”
Luke: “Nooooooo.”
Leviathan: “You’re a legend, Luke.”
News Reporting: “One server is shocked by the allegations made upon the group as the man with red hair had given her a tip large enough to pay off her Student loans however psychological analysts suspect this was a way to groom her into the convent by winning her affection.”
Diavolo: “…No…”
MC: “Oh yeah, she said to thank you. I forgot about that.”
Diavolo: “…”
News Reporter: “So what really happened here? A convent, a stunt, a new TikTok trend, or a demonic cult? We’ll have more for you after these commercials.”
All: “…”
Ringing echoes in the common room.
MC: “…Who’s phone is that…”
Lucifer: “I think it’s mine?
Lucifer: “…”
Lucifer: “Nope. I’m too sober for this, Simeon you answer him.”
Simeon: “Hm? Oh…it’s Michael.”
Diavolo: “Tell him hello for me.”
Simeon: “Yeah…I don’t know if I should.”
Simeon: “Hello— ….no…it’s me Simeon…Lucifer is…”
Lucifer: “Away.”
Simeon: “Drunk.”
Lucifer: *sigh*
Simeon: “No. MC is fine…Diavolo was not trying to kidnap anyone he was just doing a good deed. The cops? I have no idea…”
Simeon: “Asmodeus, where did the cops go?”
Asmodeus: “I have no idea I just said to take a vacation.”
Simeon: “Yes…yes…don’t worry I will…tomorrow? At 12:00? Okay…I’ll let him know. Goodbye…”
Simeon: “Well…the seraphs are working on erasing memories and proof…also we’re all temporarily banned from the human world.”
MC: “But I live there!?”
Simeon: “Right…Michael says not to tell any more kidnapped jokes…he also asks that Leviathan not upload videos of his brothers to the human internet.”
All: “…”
Lucifer: “Those…were…YOUR videos, Levi?”
Leviathan: “Th-there were others!”
MC: “Well, I’m going to bed. I’ve had enough Christmas cheer for one day.”
Mammon: “Is that what that was supposed to be? You humans are pretty weird.”
MC: “Says the man who brought seventeen different weapons to a theatre!”
Mammon: “I forgot about em!”
MC: “Literally, how!?”
Luke: “Guuuuuys!”
All: “…”
MC: “Yeah?”
Luke: “I-I have an idea!”
Barbatos: “Yes?”
Luke: “T-today got sorta messed up and Asmo didn’t even get to see the play at all and Mammon missed the most important parts and we were all super worried about earlier so…can we watch the Christmas Carol movie together?”
All: “…”
Beelzebub: “Popcorn?”
Satan: “I’ll start making it.”
Leviathan: “I’ll get the blankets.”
Lucifer: “I’ll get the Demonus.”
Simeon: “Someone stop him, please.”
MC: “I call remote privileges!”
Diavolo: “Ooh I can’t wait! What version shall we watch?”
Meanwhile in the Celestial Realm
*news report ends*
Seraphim: “…”
Michael: “…”
Michael: “…Did anyone record that?”
Raphael: “I did.”
Michael: “Play it again.”

I always repeat it but I truly love the way you write Leona ☹️ you portray not only his personality but also his inner thoughts and how he processes information around him so well... I love all your writings but specially your Leona related works (sorry for being very much biased)
I hold your Leona interpretation so close to my heart 🤲💛 I often see a lot of mischaracterization (and I kind of get it- he's hard to decipher sometimes), so seeing such a good portrayal that I feel encapsulates his whole being is so important to me ☹️☹️
[Not sure if this is feedback in response to a particular writing piece I did, but just in case, this Leona interaction was the most recent one before receiving this ask.]
Tumblr media
cbjddbwkkeoqhd Thank you!! I try to do the same thing Yana did when first conceptualizing the Twst characters… I try to put myself in their shoes and wonder what it must be like to be them in a given situation. The example Yana provided in one interview was something along the lines of, The poison apple didn’t want to be poisonous, but the Evil Queen forced it to. How did that make the apple feel? I want to think about not only how someone would speak, but also about their body language, their thoughts, their emotions, previous interactions in similar scenarios, their life experiences, their goals, their strengths and their flaws, how those can color their perception of others and the world--everything that makes up a character! I also aim to make my dialogue distinguishable, even if there's no name attached to it. If you can swap out several other character's names and the dialogue still works, then the intended character's voice isn't coming through strong enough and I rewrite it from scratch. If I write "You've earned my brother's respect," that's not good enough for me. It has to be “Oh, would you look at that. You’ve gone and earned my dear onii-sama’s respect and admiration. How good for you," to properly convey Leona's sarcasm and haughtiness.
The Twst characters are all very complex and multifaceted (particularly those we're given the most detailed backstories about *stares at the OB boys*), and there's also tons of content to comb through between the all the characters, main story, vignettes, events, and additional materials (interviews, art books, mangas, light novel, etc.). As a result, it can be easy to overlook elements of a particular character or to simplify/condense characters--either making them the extreme of being too cruel or the other extreme of being too kind--to make them easier to write. It takes time to nail that characterization, so I encourage my fellow writers to keep trying ^^
To speak a little more about writing Leona! It's honestly hard because you have to balance his arrogance with his lack of motivation and his depression-like beliefs about himself without whiplashing between those components. He's also very intelligent, and those kinds of characters can be difficult to do, especially for inexperienced writers. Leona works in subtle ways to get what he wants, and you have to find a way to communicate that between himself and the reader, but not give away what he's scheming to the other characters involved, who are not in his headspace. Then, of course, there's that whole ongoing debate about whether Leona would treat women significantly "better" than men (which is a topic worthy of a whole separate discussion post; I won't get into that here since it would elongate this post by a ton)... There's several things to consider when writing him. If you enjoy my interpretation of Leona, then that makes me happy ^^ I genuinely do put forth a lot of effort to capture the characters in my writing, so it's nice when those efforts are recognized.

AU in which the Voices accidentally get separated from the Long Quiet. He and the Princess escape into the larger than canon construct, which here is a living place.
The Narrator sends them into the woods where the two are hiding and tells them the story that "the Hero was cursed into a beast, and you are here to guide him out and save him". The Long Quiet is still the same as canon and was never human, but that's difficult to sell in a location where everybody else is human and has bias.
The Voices also look like or similar to him, so the Narrator disguises and hides their appearance by shaping them with cloaks, helmets, armor, clothes, etc.
Original post plus reblog with more information here:
https://www.tumblr.com/worldbeyondtheworld/770387804645621760
I don't even have a name yet, or many ideas how the mechanics of the AU would work, or if it's a offshot from canon / something else, or the story, or the narrative structure.
I already have several scenarios and scenes haunting my mind:
--
Spectre makes an appearance to misdirect the adventurers / Voices. She looks alive to them, sticks her tongue out, runs behind a tree, and vanishes. As they look for her to no avail, a ghostly hand emerges from the tree and removes some of their blades from their belts. (Short blades just feel right, you know?)
The Voices only notice when they come upon a barrier of brambles between them and their goal, and find they have less blades to cut through than they thought.
--
Voice of the Hero loses his shit entirely at some point and tries to kill the other Voices in a panicking frenzy. He's scarily strong like this, stronger than even Smitten or Stubborn.
--
Voice of the Cheated leaps into the air from the excitement of getting wings. He doesn't have experience in using them yet. Before he can crash into anything, TLQ catches him in his palms. He shows him how to glide down, and Cheated lands safely.
--
(Version of the) Princess encounters all of the Voices without their disguises. She has a crisis because they all look like TLQ.
What's she supposed to do, surrounded by 12 of such attractive beings??? She gets so, so flustered, which flusters some of them in return.
--
TLQ for some reason is the one standing on the Princess' shoulders instead of the other way round to reach some fruit. And no, it's not Adversary/Adversary-adjacent. Both are puzzled when questioned why they are doing it like this.
(Warning for canon-typical topics under the cut. It's also long.)
--
Nobody can ever agree on what creature TLQ is supposed to be.
Things people have thought he is include: A giant bird (opinions differ on which bird, too), a black phoenix, an omen made manifest, a winged bear, a harpy, a gryphon, a dragon...
The Narrator: (Lie, because TLQ isn't cursed, but also genuinely annoyed) "What does it matter what he was cursed into?"
--
The Princess, craving comfort for herself and him, watches for wagons going through (but close to the edge of) or close by the woods. Whenever she can, she sneaks close and takes some food and drink.
Sometimes, people going through gift her things, perceiving her only to be a young woman living a difficult life. Which is true. After some bad experiences, she hides herself in a tattered cloak so people won't connect her to the idea of a princess or recognize her face from the Wanted Posters.
The woods are big, but still finite. She acts all over at different places, close to where bandits sometimes hide, to hide her traces. Nobody is supposed to find their shelters.
The next set of wagons is more heavily guarded. She's been miserable, no matter how much TLQ has been trying to comfort her, so she risks it. If only for the the thrill and distraction it provides. Usually in the routes, she's discovered and always flees without being seen properly.
At the start of a set of specific routes, some of the Voices are present. Hunted notices her and alerts the guards who circle her. She leaps and jumps across them, back into the safety between the trees, but losing her cloak - it was grabbed - and revealing her appearance as well as that she has some kind of supernatural agility. Hunted uses the scent from her cloak to track her down.
--
"Um."
He now understood what his companion meant. He stared up, and up, and UP at the Hero. His shoulders tucked in under his unwavering stare. It was so dark he couldn't see his face - only the white of his eyes - to gauge his reactions.
"You're taller than I imagined." That was what came out of his mouth??
"Thank you, I'll take that as a compliment."
????? Why did the Hero's voice sound like that of his companion???
--
All of the Voices feel drawn to the Princess, although they might not notice depending on her shape and the circumstances.
All of the Voices also feel drawn to the TLQ, in a different way, although they might not notice.
--
Several scenarios have outside groups interferring because of their own agenda and beliefs, but always because of something the Voices did.
In one, several people agitated by fearmongering, set trees and shrubbery on fire at various edges of the woods. Soon, the entire forest is burning. Depending on their actions, the Voices die alone, together, with the Princess and TLQ, in fear or in peace, or TLQ somehow throws them + Princess over the fire to safety.
In another, specific Voices can betray the location of the Princess and TLQ to some shady mercenaries to get some help. They might believe that he's under her thrall and needs to be escorted out. Or it's for power and safety. Or they want an escort for her safety.
The mercenaries lie in ambush - but not to do any of these things. No. While their exact motivations might differ, they capture TLQ for his powers, and abuse him because they don't care about him. They'd have done the same to the her if she didn't escape. No matter what choices they made before, or what they believe, the Voices as well as the Narrator feel horrible about what they've done, and what could've happened to the Princess on top of everything else.
Every iteration, the Den appears in rage before anybody can step out of the woods. She DOES not appreciate the betrayal and the abuse of her first and closest friend and companion.
--
At least one route is there where all Voices appear and they watch in horror at what is happening to TLQ because of them / because they couldn't stop what was happening. It could be in the above scenario.
It could be another capture scenario, only with the context that the Voices intended to capture TLQ to 'heal' him or make sure he cannot hurt anybody. He's simply too powerful. People murmur around them. They're sitting down to eat, morose, after his cries and bellows quiet, and they get handed soup with a strange flavor. Voice of the Cheated finds a black feather in his bowl after some bites and has an impending feeling of dread. Upon demand where the meat comes from, the cook laughs and says that they butchered the bird. Did you know that you can gain this bird's immense powers if you consume part of its flesh?
Scrambling, the Voices run for the cage, only to find it empty. There's blood everywhere- and there. At the edge of the camp is a stake. And on top of that stake sits a head.
Or a mob descends onto TLQ, and when they try to defend him, they get knocked down and tied up. They watch as he, miserable, is treated as nothing more than a beast as weapons are raised. They kill him. The same weapons get turned on them because they dared to defend this creature and the Princess, and they're monsters under their cloaks, too.
--
The Princess strangles the Voice of the Opportunist. She got almost killed and TLQ is in a cage being tortured, and Is This What You Wanted?? He was so kind to you, so considerate, and this is how you repay him??? For what, power, when everybody else will know what a backstabber you are, and do their best to topple you?
Opportunist is unable to even raise his hands to try save himself. He knows that he fucked up. He knows this is his fault. He cannot pretend that TLQ or the Princess deserve this. He didn't want this, but his wants don't matter in the face of the consequences.
And she's right. Nobody is in power forever. He can feel the ire and envy directed at him by others. He's witnessed others like him. They outnumber him, because none of the Voices will help him.

The sims 4 is not a lost cause, it just needs some love.
SO i recently came back to playing sims 4 after a long hiatus and i have to say i'm surprised. I'm no EA apologist, they are indeed cashgrabby. But to see that lots of new features were integrated over the last few years that facilitated different styles of gameplay actually surprised me.
It seems tho that a pattern has been set, were they will release the most lackluster pack (whatever it is) and keep fixing it over the next few years. Pack reworks became a thing and thank god for it, since the releases don't seem to be stoping in order to give us better results.
It's a bittersweet feeling for sure. The game has more than 70 packs released and somehow it can still feel dead when it comes to live mode. And that's what this post is about: how could they bring the love the other games had for live mode in a base game that's so purposefully made for cas and build/buy?
Part 1: Nostalgia driven gameplay
Tumblr media
Seeing the UI from the sims 1, 2 and 3 brings me back a lot of memories. It was a staple to this series that was lost due to a cleaner redesign. Not only that, but a core mechanic was also changed: the wants and fears system.
I believe that what makes me so nostalgic is TO KNOW that this worked so perfectly and hardly needed any refreshes.
Your sims now have emotions and yet, they rarely feel like something integrated to a goal or something you can truly affect while in gameplay.
Tumblr media
Bringing back the wants and fears system would not only make our decisions during gameplay more impactful to our sims emotions, but also help to choose the direction any story could go.
An aspiration meter that's connected to the rewards shop would make decisions much more impactful (rather than getting them just by working through what is currently known as the "tutorial aspirations").
Your sims moods should be important, and so what makes them feel that way.
Part 2: World overload
With the amount of packs released, the world selection menu quickly became a problem. When seeing that screen, it all just feels like a blur of information that's been set in a certain way for convenience.
Tumblr media
Maps such as these became popular in the community for a reason. The experience of playing needs to be inviting from the get go. It's clear tho that the reason behind not giving us something like this is no long term planning and pack exclusive experiences.
Tumblr media
So what if it just became a larger sims world? A concept were you wouldn't select the city at frist, but the entire region were it is located in order to acess the one you prefer.
That would also make this refresh friendly to a future create a world tool (whenever that may come).
Part 3: Pack refreshes are the bread and butter of the future
Let's face it: we're stuck with this game for another 10 years at least. So other than dwell on the fact that we don't have open worlds or things of that nature, we should look at what can reasily be solved, and that's pack refreshes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
From seasons coming out without properly made textures and snow depth to functions that will simply not work as they should, I like to believe we do have a voice in this community. I made this post several years ago and now, looking back at it, I see so much improvement over things that we were desperately asking for.
Don't get me wrong, by that I don't mean that EA developers are searching through my page or yours to find what we think and expect for The Sims 4. But talking about these things openly as a community is what makes the difference.
Part 4: Simmers Unite
In conclusion: uniting our voices to ask for these things to come as refreshes and revamped features are crucial for the next few years. Let's, together, avoid a "my first snowdepth pack" or similar things that could yet come our way.
I created a blog called @sims4-communitywishes to reblog rants and wishes such as these. Our blogs and separate voices may be small, but a repository of it is much more impactful.
So thank you for reading this all the way through and in case you want to share your wishes for the future of The Sims 4, tag it as #s4comunitywishes

Without a proper understanding of which elements of the causal path are active, and which elements of the causal path are passive, the problem cannot be properly resolved
I reject this because the active/passive distinction is not an empirical one.
and blame and punishment will fall on innocent or only weakly guilty people, wastefully causing more suffering.
I reject this because I reject retributive justice—if you aren't punishing people for the sake of punishing them, then you aren't going to change your mind about where fault lies and realize you've been torturing someone innocent for years. More pragmatic things, like whether someone is likely to do the same thing again, and whether not punishing someone means there's an incentive for others to do the same, aren't going to change like that, unless you're just bad at figuring out what's practically going on.
In your example you regard the landlords as passive, and the politicians as active, but you provide no hard-and-fast definition that this arises from. It seems like you are using these as synonyms for 'at the start of the causal chain' and 'not at the start of the causal chain.' You don't see the landlords raising rents as a step in the causal chain that could have been broken, or that anyone had a responsibility to break—you see the landlords as passive, because they are just doing what is 'natural' in a more demand-dominant market environment. You see the politicians passing the legislation as the start of the causal chain, and you see them as culpable, so you see that as active.
I certainly agree that you need to get to the root of the problem to know how to address it, and many political problems are caused by people not doing that. I agree that in your example, it would be an unhelpful distraction to blame the landlords. I disagree that this is an objective judgment. And if this is what you mean by the active/passive distinction, I think that is unhelpful framing, as it clouds your thinking by biasing you towards accounts where agency is concentrated, not distributed.
Because there were steps in the causal chain before the politicians: a politician voted for it because that's where their party was at, and they didn't want to rock the boat—they were just going along with social forces, in the same way that landlords were just going along with market forces. And that culture, while self-sustaining to a degree, also comes from polling that says building prohibitions are popular with the residents of the city, and that's because for most of them it really does benefit them by increasing their house price. So the real problem is the arrangement of government where the only people politicians are accountable to is people who already live there, and there is no consideration of the interests of the people wanting to move into the city. I'm not saying that is the correct view, but it illustrates another place you could put blame, and illustrates that you can always go back a step in a causal chain. There is no start, and everyone sees themselves as passively, naturally responding to the situation they're placed in. Of course, they aren't actually wholly passive, but at every step people have limited agency, so agency ends up very distributed.
But moreover, causes rarely actually come in these neat chains—there are generally many conditions that lead to an effect. A building falls down killing 3 people, because it hadn't received necessary maintenance, because the previous owner had given inaccurate information about a previous renovation, but also because the renovation hadn't been as sturdy as it was meant to be, because the plans the builders received were for an earlier version of the plan, because the architects had gotten their documents mixed up, because that was been done by an intern and their secretary didn't do a good job of that part of the training.
Where does the blame lie here? It lies in lots of little pieces. Everyone was just trying to passively follow procedures. And this is still a simplified cartoon version of causality. This is why law is complicated. Maybe you have an opinion of who in this chain of events is actually responsible, and maybe other people who believe in the active/passive distinction do too, but I bet you wouldn't all agree, because it comes from a judgment that is ultimately subjective.
But maybe you do have a criterion to decide what is passive and what is active without leaving it to judgement. If so, please share it, so I can see how objective it really is.
"How can I be privileged? I struggle constantly and no one understands."
That's not how privilege works. Privilege does not mean other people struggle and you don't.
Privilege often means that society is designed to traumatize you and make you angry then direct your anger at the socially acceptable target.
Male privilege does not mean it's easy to be a man. Male privilege means it's traumatizing to be a man and you're expected to take out that trauma on women instead of fighting back against those causing it.
White privilege does not mean you have everything handed to you. White privilege means society is designed to make you suffer then blame your suffering on black people or immigrants instead of the capitalist class who are causing the suffering.

Prompt 301
Ellie, during one of her stints of what do I do with my life right now, decides to, with the help of her Original Dad-Person (Look he’s aging and she’s not and it gets less questions the older he gets if he says daughter instead of sister with how the Fentons are getting older too) creates a Boo-Tube channel. No, not a Youtube channel, those are stuck to a single dimension.
Bootube on the other hand? Due to being through the Realms (and wow is Tucker getting so much income from creating it) is interdimensional. Which is so cool honestly. And she doesn’t know what to do at first, and honestly there’s already so many travel blogs that she kind of just… decided to do something that she wished someone had done for her and her brothers and Danny when she was new to the world.
So she creates the channel CAAW: Clone Awareness, Accommodations, and Welfare. They had to learn things through trial and error, but maybe she can help someone out there learn how to find their own selves, or even help someone not melt.

Elrond with dramborleg
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"His hair was dark as the shadows of twilight, and upon it was set a circlet of silver; his eyes were grey as a clear evening, and in them was a light like the light of stars."
This drawing was for @armenelols and @polutrope post about elrond using a family heirloom "dramborleg".
Oh boy I had so much fun.
My main thought while painting this was " what would be different about elrond?"
And the answer is alot but a the same time nothing.
Elrond is in a way a sad character he kind of lost everything and the only constance in his life is the heralded past of his ancestors/family and friends.
He almost can't remember his parents but he can read about them even maglor is ,despite being a kindslayer, described as strong imposing and a mighty warrior.
His own brother, who chooses mortality,is a revered king!
This elrond that I depicted here is not the lord of Riverdale. Not married yet.
This is a elrond who will stand between evil and his folk.
Just like his ancestors did.
He is holding a legacy of strong unrelenting men who did change the tides of war who done the impossible no one else did before them!.
This is also elrond who found out that his brothers legacy Numenor is at the bottom of the sea - because of sauron.
This is a elrond who becomes a lord for many different kind of elves because he is a different kind of elve.

Jacob – Couples Therapy podcast (Hosts: Naomi Ekperigin and Andy Beckerman)
Bring a friend to a date?
Tumblr media
Did he mean it like a throuple/threesome or did he meant "date a friend instead of starting again with your ex"?! 🤨 The hosts kinda sucked on this one. They didn't even let him explain himself 😒 I can't believe it didn't cross any of their minds to ask if he meant it like in a open relationship/polyamorous relationship way or another thing 🤦‍♀️
Anyway, I don’t even think jacob himself realised yet what he have going on with his bestie Sam.
And then right after, naomi says “i think we kinda know, so it’s fine” just unprovoked and him not saying anything… lol everybody got u and ur little workplace friend business
source: lovesjar
Also around 1:26:04 (i think is even for the same question/advice from the video above):
