Hii hope this isnt a weird thing to ask but do you have any tips on how to deoncelerize characters from media you dont like anymore? Seeing you talk about it made me feel inspired to do the same with this one game I dont like anymore but have an intense attachment to ceirtain characters from it. Again, so sorry if thats a weird thing to ask, have a good day.

theres no right or wrong way to deoncelerize a character, the hardest part is learning to stop associating them with their source media (though thatll get easier over time!). otherwise heres some tips for oc-ifying them

change up their design to your liking!! personally, i use this "telephone" method where i redraw characters over and over from memory while tacking on extra traits i like to test things out. generally i do this with all of my designs before deoncelerization so i spend less time on this when im actually oc-ifying characters

figure out what you wanna do with them! do you want to give them their own ocverse? do you want to add them into an already existing ocverse you have? wanna turn them into a fan-oc for another interest you have? do you wanna just make them a standalone doodle character? figuring out what you wanna do with them can help figure out how you want to revise them

not always necessary, but change up their character a bit!

i guess this is related to the above tip but you can also change up their name, esp when they have a unique/recognizable name. i changed my benrey deoncelerization to Bert

do Not be scared of mischaracterization when it comes to deoncelerization. the whole point is to disassociate a character from their source, if you dont wanna make them resemble their source then thats COMPLETELY FINE

thats all i can think of right now. you do not HAVE to conform to all of these tips ofc. you can deoncelerize characters and have them look exactly like their original counterpart. it all depends on mental perception of the character and disassociating them with their source. ALWAYS REMEMBER to have fun and play and do anythang u want forever

Hii!! Thanks for asking :33 apologies that this took long I’ve been running errands!

So first, its a broadcasting tower! Its function is what it sounds like haha, it relies on a phone (and the ability, just like the railgun) for it to broadcast you the God’s code in a video form, kinda like a tv channel, which is why there are no tvs in that world! It’s a God mechanism similar to the og one, created by the creator of all of the realms to make a god out of people who were just like the “perfect” candidates, such as : Kuon, Juo, Aikawa (some may be family, but I’ll get into that later). So basically people who were closest to God / had great potential of becoming God!

The creator selected the people who were just like / related to the “perfect candidates” and threw in an extra 100+ (a lot, i know) people to give the people chances, give them opponents ect.

Now!! My ocs which i love aaaa my little babies have time to shineee

So first, Hidehisa Suzuki!!

•as you might have gathered, she’s Juo’s younger sister, shes the most similar to Juo in the sense of bloodlust (kinda), same principles (bad guys always win). So basically a lot of his qualities, not because it’s natural and in their genetics, its that Juo was a TERRIBLE influence on her growing up, aswell as their parents ect. So shes very dragged-up.

•Giving her a masculine name was intentional! Her parents probably thought it’d be “quirky” to give their kids such awful names.

•She isn’t a bully in the way her brother is, shes more of a “mean to everyone” type. Always gets into fights, causes trouble, makes fun of everyone sorta thing. She doesn’t have targets like Juo did.

•She wears her hair in all different hairstyles, one day its low pigtails, another its down, a braid ect.

•she has white eyes like her bro but they’re not as sharp as his, they’re quite big and round. (Still soulless-looking) and her hair is the same black with a hint of purple.

•she is currently a participant, but she’s probs gonna find a mouthless mask sometime soon (She probably will break it though, shes mentally weaker than Juo)

•she’s 15!

Myra Aikawa!

•she isnt Mamoru’s daughter, she’s his niece! Shes similar to him on how she has a particular worldview (not an extreme darwinist like Mamoru, but similar), very collected, very strategic, polite, ambitious ect.

•when i wrote my Mamoru hcs ages ago, i mentioned he had a stepbrother, thats his stepbrother’s daughter!

• She wasnt influenced into thinking this way, she kind of just came to a sort of “the weak die, the strong live. Thats just natural selection.” Conclusion (shes very scholarly, reads alot of philosophy books)

•Student council president, takes her role far too seriously.

•Quite snobby and pretentious but doesnt realise, her father married a successful businesswoman who is the main breadwinner of the house.

•She is now a god candidate after randomly coming across a mouthless mask (we can all tell what her goals are now, yikessss)

•Her god candidate powers include :

Self strengthening ability (isnt that great)

Consciousness interference (can go into an awake person’s brain, it has drawbacks though as it exhausts her)

Ability to control Angels (only 1 currently!!)

•She is half Thai half Japanese (Thai on her mother’s side), she speaks both languages!

•she has light blonde hair (it almost looks white) and light brown eyes!

•she wears a half up half down ponytail with a black bow!

•she’s 16!

And last, Takeshi Akesofu

•He is the only one that isnt related to the “perfect candidates” legally or genetically, he is instead like Kuon in other ways. He is the son of a CEO (of a rival company to Shinzaki’s) and a retired actress, but he is not the heir to the company like kuon, instead his elder brother is the heir. He was raised to be superior to others, to carry himself properly because of the prestige of his family. He’s different to Kuon, but theres a reason they’re somewhat related (They may or may not be in a forced marriage / engagement, but thats just a rumour thats been circling around the internet (on earth in their universe))

•He pretends that he’s all serious and proper to please his family but in private he’s rude and informal. He often brags about what he gets from his parents to his (equally rich) friends. Just your classic spoiled rich kid but hides it.

•wears sunglasses almost all the time, says it makes him look hot but he just looks tacky.

•has quite a sheltered life because of the fame, but not as sheltered as kuon’s. For example, he can go out but only if he has bodyguards / people with him.

•is a God candidate! Same as Myra he came across one by accident. His abilities include :

Ability to control Angels (3 Angels at the moment)

Ability to observe an Angel’s strength

Self-transferring (undiscovered by him but it turns out to be weak and will make him confused and dizzy)

•he has dark brown hair and dark green eyes!

•very present on social media, has millions of followers. (Which boosts his already high ego)

•he’s 18!

And if the third high rise world was ever in written form (unlikely, too many wip fics and exams XP) they would be the protagonists! (Meaning it would be from one of their perspectives every chapter)

The third high rise world starts mid-arrive, and it’s still going on post arrive and isn’t gonna end because Yuri & co simply don’t know about its existence! Neither does the supervisor. They will find out eventually because Yuri is literally 100% God 100% human and i can ramble on and on about the 4 omnis ect.

There are titles which none of them have acheived, such as :

Seraph. (An angel (not in a TS sense) that is the closest being to God, yet not having the power of god.)

Idol. (Just as it sounds, basically having high numbers of followers, being worshipped basically by humans)

More to be added as i think about them and look at meanings ect! Most of these are religious terms because thats a heavy theme in TS and TSA!

Instead of lightning and cloud, they have light! So basically light radiates from them as lightning would in og TS!

Hey just a quick question but I saw that this was an RP blog and I wanted to try out an OC but didn’t know where to start. Also I don’t know if your Online or not due to your situation and I didn’t want to come off as Rude to you so take your time.

// Hello!!! Yeah, I’m barely now but that’s just because I’m pretty busy. Thank you for the question though! Starting an OC blog is really fun, and it all depends on your tastes and what you like.

I ended up making an OC blog because I saw other people with rp blogs for Alice in Borderland and was like- no way!! People do that? Thats so cool!! Everyone is super nice and super welcoming.

Anyways, some tips or info:

• I draw my OC because I’m able to, and I have a very specific idea of what she looks like, but most people use a “face claim” which is essentially a celebrity that they use as the face or ideal look of their character for their blog. So they’ll use gifs and pictures of that celebrity as if they’re the OC.

• Some blogs are also themed based on color and aesthetic to match the personality of their OC. I did my blog black and red to reflect the show that she’s based in.

• Most people also have a “masterpost/OC introduction” which has all the basic information you need to know about their OC, almost like a character wiki page.

• Some people also have a blog which is a "multi-fandom" OC, which means they rp between different shows and games with the same character.

• As for interacting with people, what I did is send a few blogs a quick introduction of my character, as my character, basically saying “Hello! I’m Lilly, etc” and I’d usually get a response.

• After that it’s kind of just interacting with people, responding to their posts in character and stuff. Some blogs like to create “starters” which is a post with a prompt that people can respond to, to start a role play between their characters.

• Another way people interact is making posts in character as if this is their characters social media profile, and other people will comment and respond in character as well.

• I like to make extra posts sometimes just about my character, background information and “flashback” stories, so people can get to know my character.

But yeah, overall it's just posting about a character or acting in character, and talking to others as well. It’s really fun!! If you have any more questions feel free to send them my way, and good luck!!!

what ddo you think would truly feel like more rain world, then?

I don't know to be honest.

Although I would probably say the thing that sticks out most about Downpour in contrast to the base game is probably the slugcats- mind you not because they're ocs or anything, but rather because Downpour inherently opens up a problem: How do you expand further on gameplay in order to keep things fresh and new. You certainly can add more slugcats with no skills and let the world changes adjust things, but it's something that would largely feel dull when you already have Monk, Survivor, and Hunter who, at their core, are very simple modifications of each other. Hunters 'big skill' is only the ability to carry an extra weapon. Downpour solves this by making the slugcats you play as have highly unique abilities you can use, and this does make things fun! I like what they did with all of them. But it also creates a big contrast against the relatively meek and mundane skills of the original set of slugcats- something that I think was very intentional in the OG game and also has the side effect of making Downpour feel more 'inorganic' and game-y. There's an effect around it that makes them feel a bit more like characters over organisms in a overarching system, they're a little closer to what you would expect of a protagonist. They have an aspect of power or skill to them that inherently changes how they fit into the world.

In contrast Survivor never really 'feels' like a protagonist. They fit the roll of small animal squeezed into an ecosystem, and even with skill your tools to deal with that system are largely mundane. You can throw things hard, jump and slide. The closest the game has to a powerup is getting luminescence. If you're particularly skilled you can carry two weapons at once (but not in both hands, just one with you as backup) and I feel like that's pretty important to grounding them as prey in an ecosystem. It does a lot to give your predators more tools to kill you than you get for fighting them, it helps push that feeling of a mouse standing against a cat or eagle. Hunter, while serving the role of predator slugcat, still feels like a prey animal whos learned how to fight back rather than something thats expected to be a predator of red lizards. When you can backflip across the screen or make bombs on demand, that feeling is something you lose even if the challenge is still there.

From a game standpoint its very obvious why the slugcats have abilities in Downpour- you could need to massively change the world your playing on in order to make more 'basic' slugcats feel good to play again after already playing them multiple times. If you wanted to keep the feeling, I guess you could try doing a storyline from the POV of another creature like the lizards, or set it in a different area of the world. For a fanmade expansion (and in general), its a lot easier to do more slugcats and give them skills to make playing them new and fun. But you give something up with that.

We had spent most of the day in bed, snuggling and talking about everything except her being sick. In the hours after lunch I had noticed her rubbing her temples and keeping her eyes closed. I asked and she told me her head had started hurting so she decided to try one of her pills. About 30 minutes after she took it she was passed out in her bed. I looked at the possible side effects and fatigue was top of the list. I covered her with the comforter since she was always freezing now. I saw the necklace I had gotten her for christmas sitting around her neck. The yellow flower in it perfectly preserved in time. I thought back to how perfect and carefree that day had been, and it gave me an idea. I carefully slid out from the grip she had on me and walked into the living room. I pulled out my phone and started making calls. I looked at the clock, it was 4 now, she'd probably sleep a few more hours if I was lucky. I made all the calls I needed to and then waited. The first person to show was Sam, he brought in my guitar and a new book. I thanked him profusely as he left. The guys knew about Rose's condition and knew how much me and Josh loved her, they'd do anything for her at this point as well. Next I heard a knock at the door. I walked over and saw a taller girl with 2 space buns in her hair, holding 2 giant vases of flowers.

"Hi, I'm y/n, I have a delivery for Daniel?" She said with a big smile,

"Thats me, thank you so much" I said quietly, trying not to wake Rose, "Do you by chance have any extra flowers in your van? Ones that people didn't pick up or anything?"

"Let me go check," She sauntered off back to her van. When she reappeared she was carrying 2 more vases of flowers. "You can have these as well, I accidentally made to many for an event"

"Are you sure? How much do I owe you?" I asked, placing down the vases she had already handed me to get my wallet,

"You already paid for those two over the phone, and these are already paid for, don't worry about it." She said sweetly. I took the first two vases inside and then returned for the next two. "Have a good day!" She said with a wave as she walked back to her van.

"You too! thank you!" I said as I carried the next two vases inside. I got every cup Rose owned or anything that resembled a vase, separating a bunch of flowers into each one, spreading them all across the living room. There were so many different colors and kinds it closely resembled that day in the field with the wildflowers. I grinned to myself the more I thought back to that day. I had some time before the food was going to arrive so I walked into Lucas's room and raided the bed of pillows and made a pillow pallet on the floor, all the flowers surrounding it. I got a comforter from the closet and covered the pillows, I wanted it to be as comfy as possible. I turned on the tv and found one of those nature channels that was of a national park or something where it showed the sunset live. Sure it was super cheesy, but she had loved the sunset that day, and I remembered it vividly in my mind. Close to 6 o'clock I heard another knock at the door, right on time. I went over and opened the door to see burgers and fries from our favorite little diner. She couldn't have wine with her medication so I'd find something else for us to drink. I looked in the pantry and found an extra sparkling grape juice left over from either christmas or new years, perfect.

"Oh my gosh?" I heard suddenly, I turned on my heels and saw Rose looking over the living room. Her eyes were wide and her jaw had dropped. "Danny.." She started as she looked to me. I could feel my cheeks burning as I tried to hide my toothy grin,

"I just, I thought back to our first date, and how perfect it was and I wanted to relive it with you" I said softly as I walked over and wrapped my arms around her middle, bending forward so my head was on her shoulder. She was still silent as she glanced around, but now she had a smile on her face. "Do you like it?" I whispered as I nuzzled my nose against her cheek.

"I love it," She whispered softly back, she turned in my arms and pulled me into a kiss, "I love you"

"I love you too," I said kissing her back. "How are you feeling? Hungry?"

"I actually feel great right now, I think those meds and that nap really helped" She said cheerfully, hugging me tightly. "I am starving though"

"Well, I think you will be really happy with our dinner, its one of our favorites" I wiggled my brows at her as she gave me a curious look. Her eyes lit up when she saw the red and white checkered bag, "From the diner, I got your usual I hope thats ok"

"Oh my gosh, give me that before I tackle you for it!" She said as her eyes lit up. I laughed as I walked over and settled next to her, giving her the burger and fries. I hadn't seen her with this much energy or enthusiasm in a while.

"I know you can't have wine, but I found this" I said as I held up the bottle, "I used all the cups for flowers though...so I guess we are drinking from the bottle" She just giggled,

"Fine by me, everything..this is perfect babe" I started to see tears in her eyes,

"Hey, none of that, no tears tonight." I said in a soft tone as I caressed her face, she nodded and blinked them away.

"I just, you make me so happy, I hope you know that" She said, and it took everything in me not to start crying,

"You make me happy too angel" I pulled her closer to me and kissed the side of her head. We talked as we ate our food and passed the bottle back and forth when we were thirsty. I couldn't get over how beautiful she was. She definitely had some small differences than from when I had met her, like the circles under her eyes were darker, and her face was a little thinner, she was beautiful just the same. After we got done eating I walked into the kitchen to throw away our trash and noticed the tv, "Oh look, the sunset is starting!" I said as I hurried back over. I sat down and she layed over with her head in my lap.

"It's so pretty, the colors are so vibrant" She said as she stared up at the tv. I realized quickly that sun sets and sun rises had been present in some of my favorite moments with her.

"I almost forgot, I got you something," I reached back and grabbed the book I had hidden under one of the many other books littering her apartment. "I did some research and this is another series by the author you love" a grin spread across her face as she ran her hand over the cover.

"I've actually been wanting to read this series! I just never got around to it yet, thank you," I leaned forward and kissed her. "Can I read some of it now, just the prologue" She said eagerly and I laughed knowing it wouldn’t just be the prologue.

"Of course, I was gonna play for you anyways" I said as I pulled over my acoustic. I started strumming and decided on playing 'Here comes the sun' by the beatles. She hummed along, picking up on what it was immediately. After a while she closed her book, smirking as she looked up at me, "What?" I asked as I raised a brow

"I was just thinking..." She tossed her book behind us to the couch, "If you are really remaking our first date, theres one thing you've left out."

"I thought I covered everything," I said as I glanced around, but I quickly caught on as she straddled my lap,

"You don't remember what happened after the date?" She asked between kisses as she bit at my bottom lip.

"I remember everything, trust me." I said as she kissed my neck, "I just don't know if I'm in the mood" A lie. I wanted her, almost too much, but I was worried it would be too much for her.

"What?" She asked, seeing right through my bullshit answer. "Are you really just never going to fuck me again? You've barely touched me since new years." She said, much more frustrated now. I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. I didn't want to admit to her that I thought she was more fragile now, I knew she would hate it. "Fine" She said nonchalantly, climbing off of me. She pulled her shorts off and tossed them at my face, "I'll do it myself." I caught the shorts and gave her a confused look and she layed down on the pillows. I sat with my back against the couch as I gawked at her,

"Are you serious?" I asked in disbelief as I watched her hand travel down between her legs, "Fine. Go ahead," I pulled out my phone and started scrolling through it, trying my hardest to ignore what was happening beside me. Next thing I knew her panties landed on my phone, I glared over at her and she just smirked at me. I looked back to my phone but it was much harder this time. I heard a soft moan leave her mouth and I looked over to see her head tilted back with her eyes closed, biting her bottom lip. "Ughhh this is torture" I said under my breath as I adjusted myself in my flannel pjs.

"Well then touch me," She said as she rolled over on her side, her hand ceasing its movements.

"I just know I can get a little rough sometimes-" I started and she quickly cut me off, crawling towards me

"And I love that about you," She said, now straddling my lap again,

"Rose, I don't want to hurt you" I said as she caressed my face, my lips had slightly parted as she kissed me,

"You won't. I remember our taps, and I promise if anything is too much or I start feeling bad I will tell you." she reassured me, her forehead resting on mine. I was still hesitant. "What if I took the lead then?" She suggested, and I raised a brow before nodding. She leaned forward and kissed me deeply, her tongue sweeping into my mouth. I pulled her closer by her waist as I got lost in her kiss. She started grinding her hips into mine, and a low growl left my chest. She tugged on my shirt, pulling it over my head as our kiss broke momentarily. Not wanting my lips to leave hers I snaked my hand up under her shirt, grabbing her breast and toying with her nipple as she moaned into my mouth. She abruptly stood up,

"Take your pants off" she ordered, standing above me as she removed her shirt. I lifted my hips, doing as she asked and kicking my pants off onto the floor. She walked forward and lowered herself back onto my lap. She teased me, griding herself now directly against my length,

Her grip left my hair and she wrapped her arms around my shoulders tightly. I hovered over her, steadying myself with a hand on the couch, starting with slow thrusts

"Harder, please" She panted as she hooked her leg around my hip. I obliged and went harder, trusting she would tell me if it became too much. Her nails were digging into my back and the sting was only edging me on along with her moans that got louder and louder.

Ignoring everything else about AI art, my biggest pet peeve is when someone say ‘It’s stolen art’ and the supporter responds with ‘You need to give it a prompt so it makes the art you want, it’s not stolen it’s new’ because it’s very simple: where is that data coming from? The AI can’t just make up art; without training, it has no idea what the hell anything is.

You and I know what a wolfgirl with short red hair could look like. We could imagine her in a thousand different styles and patterns; is she mostly human? A furry? Is her hair curly or straight? Is she a scary werewolf? Is she a child, an adult? Even if you have never seen doggirls or furries in your life, the idea of a “wolfgirl” is something you can visualize and interpret.

but on its own the pos ai doesn’t. It doesn’t know what a wolf is. Art AI mimics. Regardless of how you feel on it, that’s just a fact! It’s predictive! Thats why you get flesh merging with fabric, or in extreme cases, extra fingers or limbs. The AI doesn’t have the ability to know when to stop. You know not to give a human character an extra thigh, but the AI doesn’t understand that it already made two legs, it thinks it would make sense for there to be another.

another ai art pet peeve is the rise in artists’ stuff being accused of actually being ai art over either intentional stylistic choices or simple mistakes. I have problems with proportions and keeping a consistent art style. I have a drawing of a furry oc of mine where he has 3 fingers on one hand and 4 on the other. That’s just me making a human mistake! That was me accidentally fucking up! Ironic to say this, given the topic and how badly ai fucks up sometimes, but I’m not a machine. I draw bad anatomy or fuck up perspective or forget to finish a corner of the background. Shit happens. But people automatically jump to ai accusations instead of thinking logically. Fun fact: i regularly forget key details of my characters while LOOKING AT THEIR REFERENCE. I’m going to kill

Things I’d get Kai for Christmas

Aka things you could get for a minimalist, which is usually VERY tricky to shop for

Kai himself is pretty much a minimalist, he said so himself that he doesn’t like overly cluttered spaces. I feel like for Kai if he did want to get something for his s/o he’d definitely try showboating, and go out of his way to get them something flashy- but for himself I feel like if you asked him “hey what do you want for Christmas” he probably wouldn’t give you anything MUCH to go off on, like the only thing he’d want is “a new tie” or something. But if he’s spending like $500 on you, you’d wanna try and even out the gifts and get him extra stuff too right 

SO some gifts that I FEEL / hope Kai’d like would be... 

1. Premium Tea or Coffee Beans

More specifically for tea, get him good bitter tea rather than anything fruity or sweet, like loose black tea leaves or matcha powder. Coffee’s probably easier to choose if you’re not sure what the “right pick is” since a dark roast cant go wrong. 

2. A new watch

If you, or your OC or your sona is loaded or has a high budget, you could get him like a FANCY fancy watch like Rolex. But if a more reasonable budget is needed there’s a lot of options. He easily likes gold-accented accessories too. 

+ BONUS you could make it more personal and have a message on it too. 

3. Golden Cufflinks + Tie Clip 

Following the train of “Kai likes golden accessories” this would total work as well, especially if you wanna pair it as a gift bundle thing with the watch. 

+ another Bonus if you also wanna get the tie clip engraved too heheh

Now past the fancy presents, assuming you/your OC/your sona is closer to Kai and you’ve been together for a while, more personable gifts that would work would be- 

4. Hardcover Books

Particularly something that you know he’d have his eyes on, or on a topic that you know would intrigue him. Kai’s a bookworm I feel, or whenever he does have the rare change for free time he’d crack open a couple books. Alternatively you could get him an e-reader if you’re not sure what he’d like to read specifically, and if you’re set that he wants to be MINIMAL minimal. 

Lastly, if you’re still iffy on getting any of these things you can focus more on experienced based gifts during the holiday season- 

5. Experience-based gifts

Some things you can come up with is different cute date night activities like: asking him what special meal he’d like and you could cook it up for him with the best ingredients at his/your apartment; maybe a trip to the museum, couple spa day, a night at a luxury hotel room ifyouknowwhatimean, just to name a couple of ideas. So some small notes?

-I thought of them as like extra aid when Lin was in her guardian years, sense Lin uses a bow I thought that they also use one...but they are more like a "glass cannon" compared to Lin! Strong/can do a lot of damage...but are very fragile! So they are also longer range!

-they look differently depending on the weather they were summoned in! Or a bit later were also based off of her emotions, looking at the one I did for fun- asdfghjkl

-idk why...but the thought of these guys purely being summoned for aid/work and they were never supposed to have emotions/feelings or really have more "life",But Macaque comes along...sees these "lifeless husks" and it causes them to actually feel and be more like normal clones in a way! Mean while past Lin is like "well good job Macaque, now they can be traumatized now that they know they can feel-" and I mean- it can be weird to 'be your own person' all of a sudden, when you came from another.

-the pink cloud one happened with Lins emotions of Macaque were mixing in with when she needed extra help.

-I like to think the pink one is more bubbly, and chipper just happy to be there, while the other two, technically three, are the more serious ones who kinda just want to explore but also just try and be there to get there needed job done...(i want to draw Lin's Pink cloud clone and Macaque's shadow clone kiss- but thats just for those that read this to know- ASDFGH)

kat you cant keep doing this to me (making incredible fics). i writing this cause of the new updates but trust me none of this praise is new.

My fatal flaw as a consumer of fan content is that im really bad with names, so i always have trouble keeping track of my favorite fics and their authors. I try my best, but its not something im good at :/ blackkat however!!!!!! I read your work long before star wars, and once that became your primary fandom (which i didnt share) i stopped following you. When i got into star wars out of nowhere, i stumbled across the lightning fic (bad at names again, im sorry, the feral/wolffe one) and loved it. I saw your name, and it was the fandom equivalent of realizing your high school neighbor is working in the cubicle next to yours despite you both moving across the country.

your writing is so distinct in characterization, tone, and style that i feel like i can always tell its you. You are so creative and clever, and you build plots thats are so good oh my god,,,,, i start the fic thinking the premise is top tier then suddenly you remix it with a second even better premise (the heartstill fic - starts with fake marriage then suddenly weve crashlanded on a sith planet. the footprints fic - starts with (the idea of) anakin’s trial, then book theres an eldritch tentacle monster). Im always on the edge of my seat for what kind of story youre gonna set up next.

Another thing i love is your character writing!! even when the fics are completely different in tone, genre, style, etc the core of the characters feels so distinct. Even when your characters are being put in situations their canon counterparts would never have to go through, you somehow make their actions (which may on paper seem to be slightly oc) feel like the most natural thing in the world. Your take on mace windu is very different from what we see on screen, but ive never once thought that his actions in ur fics dont make sense. even between fics, the characters feel like the same character. Comparing Heartstill and the time travelling fives fic, your mace windu feels like the same guy. Not to mention the characters youve built from basically nothing like jon antilles

I started writing fics before I joined tumblr, at first I started reading and then from their I’d listen to music and try to fit myself in the universe before even atteping writting as at that point thought there was no way I'd be good at it.

The first thing i ever wrote (well started and has since been abandoned) was a Cedric and reader/Fred and reader soulmate au where she had two soulmates. It was utter crap but it got me into it, which is where i also formed the OC’s from my page as well i’m planing on usuing in a big boi fanfic i’m planning to write this summer.

Thats my little background about how i practiced before i started posting. So, i’ve just done little bullet points for things that help me they won't work for everyone but these are my best tips x

Motivation: I make writing a reward for myself. I have uni work i need to do and right now i’m studying for end of year exams, so I make a list of what i need to do each day and i can only write once it’s done. That way it makes me really motivated to not only study but while writting notes etc ideas come into my head because i’m getting excited about writting later

Planning: Sometimes I just sit down and write but thats not always possible because of writers block or I know the story line but i’m struggling with a certain conversation or exchange. So i basically make really quick bullet points detailing the events in no particular order, sometimes i go way off in another direction but it's great for getting started as i think the harest part is actually starting

Dialogue: My neighbors looking in my flats window will think i’m insane (which could be true on certain level but who isn't x) but i actually act out my diaologe to check it’s realistic and to see what kind of emotion i feel during it. I write this first, again i’ve put a little wip from my snape fic, i get that down and then go back through and add in all the extra bits after 'acting' it out. I also do this when only one of my two brain cells is working

Doing requests: not for everyone as there can feel presure but i found it helped my gain alot of confidence and let me practice writing for things i never would have thought of on my own so thank you to everyone who as ever made a request it's really helped me x

Finally reading others work and practicing. Reading other stuff is great because you can find phrases and new volcabuary as well as it might spark your own unique idea!

Extra tip: I take from real life, like one of my most popular fics is You ever wonder if birds are afriad to fly? stems from a converstaion with my mum

Last little note, fun fact I'm actually dyslexic and for years I didn't read at all because of the fear put in me from teachers in highschool not diagnoising me because they missed it. Fan fiction really helped me find a real love for reading and writting creativly has helped me improve my writing in all other aspects of my real life x

IZZABEL is so interesting to me ! i havent interacted with them yet, but i see her threads on my dash with other ppl and im always just so ENTRANCED by her. the best word i can use to describe her is just haunting. they are another oc i just wanna hug and say everything will be okay!!!!! i hope she finds peace at one point UGH. deserved. ELLIOT has such an intriguing backstory! the mystique of finding out that you dont actually know as much as you thought you did about someone is always a harrowing experience, and i feel like that could be explored so well within lovelace’s psyche. mwah i love that trope tldr LOL. 

i haven’t yet interacted with JUNIOR, but i’m always SO excited to see his threads on my dash. he is the literal definition of ‘ little shit ‘ , and i feel like sekiko would wanna punt him across a football field. i crave that interaction LOL. i don’t know much about him quite yet, but i want to learn ! hanako being his fc fits ur blogs aesthetic too oml...pats him on the head. he seems like someone who would bite. does he bite? EUN is my favorite muse on ur blog. like hands down i adore him. i actively look forward to seeing his threads with you and my mutuals. he is SO FUCKING FUNNY. like he’s not even trying to be but the threads have me cracking up each time. also his BROTHER is hot and thats extra points. he’s such a brat and elli would mother him 100%. if he ever tried a pick up line on sekiko she would laugh in his face.  ALSO putting the rest under a read more because its getting long lol

Canonly, Kevin was supposed to be with Andrew and Neil. Nora was forced to cut out all that part as she thinks it’s “too much”. Thus according to this, Kevin was actually not straight but then nora changed it.

The whole fandom felt that Kevin is definitely not straight and either ship him with Andrew, Neil, Nicky, Aaron or their ocs. And it could be said that Nora used Thea as a shock factor and to just pair him up with someone. This shows that at first their relationship was all physical and sexual, and only later developed into something more. However I never felt anything from Kevin and Thea and we never saw much so it’s normal to imagine that they broke up later (if you never read the extra content).

Now, we all know that Kevin is obsess with exy, (even obsess is to put it lightly). He put his whole focus on exy because that was what he was taught his entire life. The nest never allowed kevin to have any relationships and he never really find a problem with that? (I mean sure he did had a secret one with Thea but I never see that it was anything more than intrigued or sexual)

Now there’s also four and a half year age difference between Thea and Kevin, therefore, Kevin was only fourteen years old when Thea was eighteen and Kevin was a minor when their relationship began. And I hate big age differences so.

Then why not make Kevin biromantic? because every time someone ship Kevin with anyone else, they change many aspect of him. And I’m not saying that it’s not making Kevin “better” but it is literally just cutting out chunks of his character and moulding him into someone else. Kevin in the books literally never hinted to like anyone in anyway (it could be because he was already in a relationship with Thea but then Thea and him hadn’t talk since he got out of the nest and Kevin didn’t even think about telling her anything?! How does that screams a relationship to anyone? Therefore I rest my case that Kevin and Thea were only physical up until the end of tkm, the rest it depends on what one believes in)

And we rarely see aromantic characters in books or headcanon because the media made it seemed that to be complete or to heal from trauma or anything you will need someone. Yes of course people need support from others but it doesn’t necessarily have to be from your partner or someone romantically. It can be from friends and family which in my opinion is just as important as romantic relationships.

It is so easy to ship kevin with anyone. You can ship kevin with Andrew, Neil, Aaron, Nicky, Allison, Matt, jean, Jeremy. Literally anyone. He is the easiest character to ship with anyone in the books. So why the fuck not make him be satisfied with himself?! Why must we change part of him to make him suit another person when he is perfectly fine the way he is?

Honestly to be short and shallow I headcanoned him as aromantic because I want an aromantic character and all other characters are already taken lmao and I’m too lazy to make ocs for Kevin so making him aromantic make sense and I don’t want to make it about his trauma but he was literally taught to just make exy priority and nothing else so I feel like he never learn to care for relationships and then all the mafia shit and no time and Kevin couldn’t care more or else and feel like it’s wasting time and too much effort so yeah Kevin is aromantic. Oh ya and also there’s too little Kevin content on tumblr and I wanna write sth Kevin related and the first thing that pops up into mind is this. And I also have seen post saying Kevin is aro/ace but I don’t think he is asexual because the way Kevin sees Jeremy and giving his rare genuine smile yeah right straight my ass and Kevin must had been at least a little attracted to Andrew but was just too scared and had too many other things to worry about so.
