Made a short WordGirl animatic to relearn how to animate on Clip Studio!

It's been a while since I made one, so it's a bit rusty but I tried my best :') Please go watch it and give me feedback! I'm trying to imitate as closely to the original storyboards that are used for the actual episodes (reference; Cal Ramsey on YouTube). For my fan-made episode, I may add my own personal spin on the animation style but I'm still deciding on it. Enjoy! :D

Disabled trans woman needs help affording wheelchair

Remaking my donation post as the information is outdated.

I need help affording an electric wheelchair, as I am unable to leave the house and walk for long without one. I've been trapped in the house for months, only leaving for absolute essentials and doctor's appointments. I'm currently halfway towards affording the model I've selected. Absolutely anything helps. And true! It is international how much they added after the crash, and a fun side nite that a normal mechanic was hurts ti try and fixed it when I'm pretty sure it was just unplugged... I also wondered how and when did they have time to put cameras up to check in on the villains

Okay time to start yapping

In Wordgirl Makes A Mistake we get her backstory. We see her crawl onto Huggy's spaceship, end up sleeping inside, wakes up, scares Huggy which with him being distracted ends up crashing into a Lexonite asteroid and ends up spiraling through entire galaxies and crash lands on Earth!

Becky has to be around two years old when this happens, she could crawl and had a full head of hair in the flashback.

Huggy was spinning through space while trying to regain control over the ship and while making sure that the kid with him was okay!

He wasn't even that far from Lexicon when this happened! If you see the theme song at "From the planet Lexicon" line we see Lexicon with what seems to be five moons or with some real close planets and an asteroid belt full of Lexonite! Okay, but you can say that there was some closer/in the oort cloud, but that wouldn't really change much as the two went flying past entire galaxies.

Also while this was happening, either Huggy or the ship had noted that Earth would be the safest to crash too which why is unknown may haps it's the atmosphere? Or the ship was about to fall apart soon and Huggy had to quickly land somewhere?

Seeing the ships condition it seems to be able to resist flying at speeds faster than light. But something I find interesting is that it wasn't specified how long it took for Huggy and Becky to leave the spaceship. For all we know they could of left after a day or a week even a month!

I say this because this would have caused severe injuries, both to Huggy and Becky! Another thing I forgot to note is that in Can't Touch This, when Huggy is booting up the ship, we see Lexonite be used as what seems to be fuel? (not sure honestly) which means that there's a chance that Becky's powers were weakened by it, but seeing as she could fly around in her ship just fine I believe that it's in a contained room so it wouldn't affect a Lexiconian.

Okay it wouldn't make much sense for me to bring that up now, but I don't really want to put it in another post.

I want the Wordgirl Fandom to consider, Becky and Huggy having burn scars and brain damage

Me jumping into also switching the topic when it started off as one thing- the learnerer really IS an interesting character, I love when they go more into a characters, like ms question and Lady redundant woman on the top of my head of finding new things they can do, like- the funny bit of LRW copying a picture of Dandy and he came to life, and just seeing him be real made her scream, which... very reasonably response- nut so it's like the first time she used it or at least tried it on a certain kind of painting.

I reached the limit, but I really do think 5he learnerer is super interesting! I had to go back for screen shots (we will ignore i go back to go look for them XD) It comes from the red outlines in his suit wrist, belt, and legs- makes me wonder how he made them- *or who knows...maybe he is also an alien* ah but who knows that part o mean look at the two other geniuses, mostly Dr two brains with his being a mix of rays and machines. The last one was a 'energy' force field, I could not add it here but two brains also had a rocket ship.

A small weird note for that alien bit is like..... how does his 'eyes' work??? Is it just like a camera???? It always looks at where he is looking at but it can do a full 180

Someone I can talk with about this stuff XD

The space ships are really interesting to think about, and I love other shows/movies that show different kinds, like on the top on my head, Lilo and Stitch with the mother ship and looking it up because- I get unsure about what things mean-... it would also carry larger and smaller amounts of things like the police cruiser, so it would be understandable that they *would* have different types of ships aside from the three we already got.

With the other rooms, if we took out all the stuff that was obviously filled with personal things from Becky and Bob, the main area would make sense for all the system stuff, seemingly? If I remember right self defense, pretty sure a gym, and that anitgravity room- honestly if it was just for maybe some sorta transport or scouting, and they didn't want to be in such a hurry or didn't have a hyper speed, it would make sense to have the rooms for entertainment- the library makes sense, I want to know more about that- maybe the trophy room could have been used to hold the stuff yeah for that extra support to be out for longer trips or yeah holding things they discovered. Sense, that is a VERY big room from the the others- I don't know how much fully was from the ship or now, as it looks like Becky would keep her and Huggy's merch in the ship (would not doubt if she is aloud first picks and all that despite clearling not getting any money)

Also listen- I love headcanon stuff! The disabilities from the crash make sense because of the impact in general to- with how big and the force the dent it had to the ground and the ship itself, thinking about it- especially for the bigger ships I wouldn't doubt it had safety measures for fires or other things in a situation to go off. Though maybe depending in how it went they could have also ben damaged, when they hit that asteroid, an alarm did go off-

and sorta to go along with your headcannon, I think it's very possible for Huggy especially to have to have iInjuries, or at least the most, I could totally see him bracing for impact and just holding Becky the best way he can to protect the most of her as he could.getting a little to much into it. With like his body shape, fur and also his helmet it would make sense for him to also think he would either/both think he would be still be 'ok' and let alone the baby. Huggy is also like, a captain of the air force right? So who knows his experience in that.

Man, I love thinking about how much stress and identity crisis, and anxiety and all that other stuff with cave in on this girl when she gets older- ASDFGHJKL I love this art, really does hit how much her city depends on this 11 year old girl

I LOVE YAPPING TO! So- I also feel like, it's interesting with that episode, it's from Lexonite asteroid, Sense pretty sure Becky is Superman, it could also possibly be the asteroid is from the debris of a *possibility* destroyed planet- I look at the theories that say huggy told Becky a different story about what happened.

The ship itself is pretty interesting, it looks about a decent size, at least enough to hold a few people from an outside glance but when you look inside there are A LOT of rooms- honestly enough to keep a well amout of people, pretty sure Dr two.brains and his henchmen actually got stuck and couldn't find a way back out? I know it's a kids show, but the fact she also has a trophy room that also has mouaezilla in it is fascinating.

The ship only could fly momentarily in I'm pretty sure the said episode of can't touch this, but it does immediately crash back down, the other systems seem to work fine, like the main control room- it's interesting to see how much they could fix and the idea of how much they couldn't- like being able to fully get it back up and running fully to fly it.

On a different note, makes be curious about the sizes of Kid math's and Miss power's spaceships are, I think from the looks of it Miss powers ship is HUMONGOUS. When we see her flying around for planets she does pass by lexicon her ship does seem? To use some sorta hyper speed to get to earth faster, looking back at Kid math Hexagon and Lexicon are on the other sides of their solar system... going back to that episode to get the spaceships screen shots... how does this 7 year old just go for a "joy ride"... ok- but now HIS from a outside view nooks like a one person ship- literally like he took a bike out for a ride or something. It does make me curious I guess? On why he stays- I mean also who knows how long it took him to even probably accidentally run into earth.
