4. What was your favorite thing you wrote?

Autumn's Shadow is my favorite fic. I have worked so incredibly hard on it and it's my first ever long fic. I'm very proud of it. I hope to finish it soon!

5. What piece was your most experimental or different from your usual style?

Rhysand Is The Most Handsome High Lord... is definitely the most experimental. It's my only fic that doesn't center around Eris and Azriel and it's very smutty and ridiculous. It makes me laugh lmao

6. Did any fics surprise you - either while writing or their reception

The series He Comes At Night surprised me. Somehow I sat down and wrote both of these each in one sitting and I had a lot of fun with the reader reactions lol. I didn't expect the wonderful responses I got but I am so grateful!

7. Do you have a fic you wrote and loved that went under the radar? (This is your sign to reblog/repost it!)

I am pretty proud of His Father's Son. I wouldn't say it necessarily went under the radar, OC fics tend to be less popular in general. But I didn't think I'd get this one done and when I did I was very happy with the result!

10. Who is a new author you discovered?

EVERYONE ABOVE lol. But also, copying chunky and giving a special shoutout to @jules-writes-stories, @mistandmemories, and @chunkypossum. The first two lovelies have been writing big azris fics along with me, and earlier in the year we all followed What We Deserve together. It's been the highlight for me for sure. Also, extra extra special shoutout to @pippsmcgee for her beautiful mind and incredible talent.

11. Did you do any collaborations? How did it start?

Editing to add that while I didn't technically co-write a piece with anyone, @pippsmcgee is my #1 collaborator and well on her way to becoming co-author lol

12. What accomplishments are you proudest of?

For becoming a writer! This was the first year I've ever written anything and now it's my favorite pastime and has been extremely cathartic.

13. What did you learn about writing or creating this year?

I am most happy with my work when I write exactly what I want without worrying about what might be the most popular. And I found that talking to other writers is motivating and so fun. Makes everything better.

14. Any advice you’d like to share with new or aspiring writers?

Please find joy in the process. If you don't enjoy what you're writing, write something else! And... fandom is about community. Writing has brought me to so many new friends. Don't be afraid to reach out to other authors! Spread the love!

15. What are your creative goals for 2025?

My main goal is to finish Autumn's Shadow. If I do that, I will be happy.

“pav…. i really need to get up now.” you sighed, still holding on tightly to his figure. his eyes were still half closed, his long eyelashes batting against his face once he blinked to look up at your face, only to be met with a frown. once the words fully registered in his head, he pouts, “but..you promised you would stay in with me today..you wouldn't want to disappoint the spiderman, would you..?” 

you laugh softly at his words, you really didn't want to leave him, but some unexpected business came up. you began running your fingers through his hair, pressing a kiss to his forehead. “i know, i know. i don't want to leave you..but i'll be back so, so soon. you won't even notice i'm gone.” he pulls you in even closer, burying his head back into your chest. “can't you just do it later..? you're so warm..i could sleep here forever if it meant i would get to stay in your arms.” 

“...really?” you sigh, not denying the words he said did sound nice. you wish you could stay here forever with him, separated from the hectic lives you both lived. “i'm serious..! if i could stay here with you forever, i would be the happiest man alive..” you blush at his words, he always makes being forward seem so..easy. “i…i'm sorry, my love. i wish i could stay, i really do.” 

“..it's fine. i'll let you leave, if you promise me something..!” you're met with a disappointed look on pav’s face, and it only makes you feel even worse for leaving him like this. “oh, don't be sad..please. i promise, i'll do anything you wish, okay?” 

you start pressing soft kisses all over his face, starting with his forehead, down to his cheeks, and finally placing one on his lips. you continue peppering his face with soft, love-filled kisses, as you cup his cheeks with your hands. once you pull away, you finally see the blush covering his full face.

“my love, my darling..there isn't a single moment of us being apart from each other where i don't think about you and when i'll see you again..you brighten up my world, you lighten my every day.” he seems taken aback at your words, eyes widening ever so slightly. he then smiles, cupping your cheek in his hand while pressing a soft, gentle kiss to your lips as well.

“i love you so, so much my dear…i'm so glad i get to start and end every single day with you in my arms..i couldn't be happier.” he smiles, genuine love in his gaze as he makes eye contact with you. “now…promise me that tomorrow, we can stay here together all day in each other's arms..please?” he pleads, earning a soft grin from you.

“of course. nothing would make me happier than to spend my day wrapped up like this with you. i promise, when i get home later i’ll be back with presents in hand for you, alright?” you chuckle, pressing one last kiss to his forehead.

I return! Sorry I'm really late. I was gonna try to take better pictures of my Christmas haul and make some Christmas themed art, but I realized I'm way too tired now, so I'll just post what I have. It was a very lazy day today, but I guess it's okay because it's Christmas. X'D

I got two Star Wars Funko Pops, some traditional art stuff (plus little bottles of gemstones lmao), and a very random assortment of treats and stuff. This episode is just so quick. A lot of moments that I'm a little overwhelmed.

Even though Stanley knows that Diego isn't his dad, he still tells him that he flipping killed his brother. Yikes. Diego's freak out 😭 "And you were gonna dissolve the body!?"

I really just want to know exactly where everyone is from. (And before I start, yes, I do know that Reginald made them learn many languages) because Five keeps speaking German. He said, "Nein!" In season 2, when everyone failed to meet the 90-minute deadline. And just now, he called the briefcase "kaput". Broken in german. I can definitely see Five being German, but everyone else in the Fandom believes he's from Greece. But I do fully believe he's from Germany. I don't know.

I also love "guy in a carpet." And Chen just accepts it and says,"I hope you win."

And then Klaus is like "sup! I'm back from the dead."

"What would happen if I cut off your head? Would it grow two of you?" And then Diego curs in, cause that's rude, right?

"Stan." He turns to look at Klaus. "Would it?"

"Klaus, do you know where the kugelblitz is?" "Yeah, I saw it!"

"I told you!" Yeah, Diego. He told you. Why even ask that question?

I love how Harlan is listening to Wind. And then specifies through a field of corn, and my first immediate thought was... Viktor doesn't have a good experience with field corn.

God. I really hate the writers. I mean, why couldn't stan be his actual son? They were so cute. He's yelling at Stan (not literally yelling, but disciplining, parenting,) and then he jokes around, making stan laugh by putting the cleaning supplies on his head? And then before he leaves the room he tells him not to forget about his ear medication downstairs??? Hello? He's such a good dad just for that to be thrown away?

Another full circle moment. We all know five said "I'm the daddy here!" To Luther in season 2. And now Diego says it. "I'm the daddy here.." to lila.

Allison just said, "The new timeline will just be worse for me." And yep. I truly believe it will. She might've gotten everything she wanted in this last timeline, but everything comes with a cost.

Oh... wow.. yeah. "Luther just said you can't use me for that" and Allsion said that she can of she wants to. Then she rumors him to stay. He begs her not to. And then... she rumors him again. And we all know that.

Learning Tarot Is Fun I Think #9

I didn't really realize quite how juicy tarot is as a lore. There's so much hermeticism and mysticism wrapped up in everything, it's so cool. I'm honestly worried if I'll be able to do it justice...

I like The Magician. I think the idea of a person who is so knowledgeable, aware, and in tune with the world that will is the only barrier to their success is very attractive, simply because that is what I lack. Right now I have will (if a will that is hampered by executive dysfunction), but I lack some vital understanding of many different things.

I need to start working on drawing tomorrow. I've got no experience with this kind of thing so I'll need to use all the time I have. That means I need to come up with a character today...

I think I will go with The Magician for the first one. He will be named Anaxon Talgot

These characters are primarily defined by the piece of Them (still need a name for this Thuy) that they happened upon. I think for The Magician, it was a concept. Something memetic, that they couldn't let go of, they learned it and it got stuck in their head. Something that causes them to be some of the time incredibly driven and capable, but also other times deluded and ineffectual.

A pattern.

A wildly complex pattern, something fractal-like perhaps. A pattern in the world, understanding it can allow you to manipulate it and affect events. It is far beyond the capacity of the mind to fully understand, but this character understands it enough to occasionally be near a reality bender's level of ability, but just as often he is deluded and unable to function because he has come to depend on this pattern to understand the world, and it simply does not fit in the mind.

He was originally a scam artist, and a master of his trade. He wrote at least three books on his methods for manipulation and deception, but eventually he started noticing a pattern in the behavior of people. The pattern.

His public ability began to fade, but privately, he kept on pursuing this strange pattern, finding out more and more about how it works, obsessing and learning and growing dependent on it to understand how the world works. When he is operating with a part of the pattern he understands, he is practically clairvoyant, but when he encounters aspects of the pattern he is unfamiliar with, it's like sensory overload. He either shuts down or has a break down unless he can will himself to keep going through it.

That's how it is at the height of his progression into understanding his arcanum. The effects of the pattern will increase over his lifespan as he learns more and becomes more dependent on the pattern. I think a specific timeline would be: he first notices it at 30, then for 25 years he progresses, then he either dies, or has a meltdown bad enough to make him forget the entire thing (still undecided lol). In those 25 years, he is connected to Them, and Their influence starts affecting his beliefs and thoughts through the arcanum. Their beliefs and thoughts simply start overwriting those of Anaxon, driving him to seek out other pieces.

Anaxon is tormented for these 25 years, his abilities make him powerful, and they can keep him alive, in terms of being able to support himself, when he would otherwise be borderline catatonic half the time. He is driven by beliefs he does not understand and feelings alien to him arc through his mind like lightning through a phone charger.

I rode the Shinkansen today…

For the first time in my life I spent the whole 2 hour journey admiring the scenery without looking at my phone even once！

It was surprisingly enjoyable！

The thing I thought was the most interesting was the view of Mount Fuji🗻！

Mount Fuji looks so imposing and blue and smooth compared to the rest of the prefecture！

Although I've thought that for a long time！

So watching the scenery today

I saw this mountain that was brown＆sprouting with greenery、

And when I realised it was Mount Fuji I was surprised like 「Eh？！」！

I just thought that it was another large mountain！

It's so impressive and magnificent and cool〜✨

I once again felt how wonderful of a mountain it is！

We became 12 members before I realised

And in the spring we'll become 11
