I just think this is the funnier chunk.#Lan Wangji absolutely is the kind of person who has a perfect internal alarm clock for when it is time to get up.#He already has a dedicated sleep schedule. He is accurate within 10 seconds of 5am every day.#I think the Jiang disciples are most likely used to waking up around 6:00-7:00am #But the allure of having a guaranteed time keeper getting you up in the morning is worth the earlier hour.#I imagine they started outside lwj's door and slowly moved closer as the weeks went on.#Now LWJ has to cope with being way too warm in the night from all the extra body heat.#LWJ is not a fan of this but they scamper off immediately after he wakes up and they at least show initiative to follow routine.#NHS joins in only because he is a chronically heavy sleeper and needs this level of intervention to get up early.#His boldness would be a death sentence in the cloud recesses but here? Whole new game.#Yungmeng Jiang isn't a lawless land. It's just a land with different laws.#And one of those laws is to forcefully domesticate the catboy coded Lan boy through any means necessary.#Completely different tangent: I drew the thumbnail for this before I did comic 134. I feel you, its so bad 😭, I had to go on a functioning adult human schedule for school and good god, out the house by 7am... bad bitches are not built for that..

WE REALLY ARE... and man, I can brute force myself into any schedule if there are things that HAVE to be done at certain times (like school, like you said) but it absolutely never feels "right". it feels like waking up at 3am to go to the airport type of shit. and it is truly so annoying... to get hit with the "that's a Normal schedule, you need to Fix your schedule" okay. alright. but let me hit you with this one. is it "normal" or is it just conducive to a 8 - 5. because no matter what my sleep schedule is like, or how locked in I am, I'm more clear headed at night + more productive and energetic. and no matter what, I'm tired during the day, especially the brightest times of day when the sun is allegedly supposed to be signaling my brain to be awake and alert. and it doesn't matter how much sleep I got.

#I can wake up in The Early Morning after going to bed at a reasonable hour the night prior and be exhausted throughout the daytime #and if I make it to the night then I'll suddenly perk back up. if I woke up at 7am that morning (with 8 hours of sleep under my belt)#I can comfortably stay awake until 5 or 6am that very next morning.#I need to Adapt to the daytime schedule- but if I loosen my grip on myself at all I will instantly SNAP back to the nighttime one.#full rubberband moment.#I don't need to transition back into it. my body just wants to click it back in place #I'll go right back into the swing of it as soon as I'm allowed to again #sergle answers #also I don't have trouble sleeping in daylight hours. yeah I have the curtains drawn in my room #but they aren't Blackout curtains. it's dim in there but not Dark. that doesn't impede me at all #it is crazy the way that people are so confident in telling me to my face that I'm on a bad and lazy schedule #bc they are categorizing my wake-up time as 'sleeping in' bc they're measuring it on their standard of when THEY go to bed.#i could go to bed at noon and wake up at 3pm and they'd say that i slept in

If only I'd get a notification on my phone whenever a migraine was starting. That would be so helpful. Sometimes these little guys can be sneaky, what do you mean you decided to start in a spot you've never started in before? This is not fair, I should've been notified of these changes before you changed them

#thought it was a 'its hot out and you did too much' headache so i took regular pain medicine #it was not that #now i cant take the medication #and the caffeine and salt didnt work today #sigh #i think this trend will persist until the fall #heat is definitely a factor #making myself wake up early in the morning and stressing over house workers is not helping either #maybe someday I'll get better at recognizing them earlier #im scared something like last year will happen again and I'll have to go to the er for the really strong iv stuff

Trying 2 be so normal rn

#spent a lovely 3 days and then a v heavy last night w him . i cried into his arms and told him all the little worries & none of the #overarching things causing them. i was so afraid that this display of weakness would end everything and when we woke up the goodbye was so #short so i called him on his way back home and told him everything. he seemed to understand but im still scared but at least he has an #honest version of me ig. idk #he is lovely and hes trying to help etc idk if i've ruined everything but yh #anyway met w my friends i havent spent time w them in a while its been nice to listen to them #and look at them . and theyve said nice things #and comforting words. i have to remember that people dont just end up hating you #i was shielding my eyes from sunlight and a few of them put their hands up to shield me more #((hand over hand over hand over hand) and two weeks ago i remember i was walking with two of them and i said that i was cold and they took #their jackets off at the same time. i remember this buzzed but not sober.) i think i suppress the good things as a survival instinct and #I wish my head understood it makes things harder. Requires way too much evidence to believe anything and little evidence to doubt anythin #anyway i like him n i want this to work. im glad i have my friends. im glad he has his #and his space. he has people there and i have them here and im happy he can afford to live how he does #and i have a rly good therapist now and i hope itll help. Ps he looks lovely in my eyeshadow #i like holding my friends hands #the worst case scenario is that it's over. Ill see him around his city and #It might be painful but i'll live. yea once again i am really hoping it's not a full blown server, i sincerely do not think qstudios is ready for that kind of undertaking and ngl i'm not either. like as much as i go fucking wild for the multilingual communications, even if by some miracle they completely fixed the legal side of things there's some other stuff that's raising some red flags for me so uh.......

.......can i rant about time zones i just want to rant about time zones i've been sitting on this for like half a year and getting more and more like ??!?!?!!?!?!!!?!!?!!!?!!?!!?

like first of all there have been europeans since the fucking first day of the server and yet very rarely were events scheduled at euro-friendly times and when they WERE it felt like it was because the french fans beat the studio into doing it, which they obviously should not have to do and it would have been SO easy to just hold a couple events at euro friendly times instead yknow trade it off like shared custody because we have the update accounts and if it's on a weekend some americans can just wake up before noon and still catch it live. it would have been so easy i don't get why the euro fans had to fight so hard for this.

secondly why in the fuck would you invite people to a server that is entirely about collaboration without making sure there would be people online during their usual hours and YES this is about the koreans, why in god's name would that not be included as a consideration? the only reason yd interacted with as many people as she did was because she fucked up her sleep schedule like that shouldn't be a requirement. i can think of a couple "blue sky" (i.e. idealistic with no regard for real feasibility) solutions, like "invite a few people from an existing language that stream in that time frame" or "invite another language group in that rough time zone", but honestly i'm flabbergasted. did we not consider this or did we just decide we didn't care?? there's a fucking half day difference between the prioritized server timezone and korea. sorry, but it's a multicultural server; you can't prioritize america forever, even if the server owner is from there

third and less importantly but why in god's name was pepito going to be given a european admin. most of pepito's parents don't come online before midnight in europe. that's fucking insane. that was doomed to fail from the beginning. obviously this is small potatoes in terms of pepito but what the fuck was that. who fucking signed off on that.

Shockingly enough, Candlelight won this fight. My little Water caste T'au is getting better at melee, it seems. Maybe all those "practice" fights with Laurie have paid off. Candlelight left this fight with two bruises on her torso, and Andrei had two broken bones in his right leg and a broken left arm.
